When we’re visiting back home we absolutely have to stop at maple street cafe! The soft shell crab pasta is literally heaven on a plate and the redfish was impeccable! If we could give 100 stars we would. Very homey and friendly. Will definitely make this a tradition. Thank you all so much for your great service and food. Your staff is lovely and we appreciate everything. What are you waiting for!?

I can't begin to explain the unrealistic service today. This place was swamped with customers and one server took care of the entire front room. It was amazing, food came out hot and the beverages never ran dry. I don't know how he did it, but he did. Now, for the food, wow. The soft shell crab was insane delicious. It's salty flavor smashed perfectly with the crawfish cream sauce over the linguine. Extraordinary flavor profile un that dish. The eggplant cake was remarkable. Full bar and plenty of beer options.

Visited this spot for the first time on Friday evening celebrating my sister’s graduation. I didn’t feel like they had many options but our waitress, Roba, helped guide me to make a decision. I started off with the Greek salad that was perfect! Then, I moved into my entree which was the market street crawfish! Veryyy flavorful, despite the menu not having many descriptive details under the dish. I would come back to try the white chocolate bread pudding as I heard it was delicious! Roba did a great job of hosting all of my family! Customer service was on point!

Had a fantastic dinner at the Maple Street Cafe! A great friend that has lived in New Orleans for 40 years (lives just blocks away took us there). We were seated in the back of the restaurant due to max capacity which was great because we were raucously loud. Our beautiful waitress Tabitha had a wonderful personality and provided great service. I got the Soft Shell Crab Pasta, it was the bomb, nothing left on the plate. The fresh bread/butter and Salads were delightful as well. We enjoyed some authentic sazerac whiskey drinks and several bottles of wine (apologize for not remembering the brands, they were really fine but not as fine as our waitress). I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting The Big Easy! Bon Appetite!

Absolutely phenomenal food and service. I had the fried soft shell crab, and just about died and went to heaven! Other members of our party had the pork chop, chicken robah, chicken Sereen, and they were all thrilled. Highly recommend this place on all levels, and will definitely be back of the opportunity arises.

The food was really good but they charged an extra $2.39 on the bill as a card fee. It was on the bill before they new if we were paying card or cash. You need to have this listed if you are going to make people pay it so people do not take it out of the poor waitresses tip.

Overall great place. Their veal ossobuco is one of my favorite dishes in the city, and their higher end wines are incredibly reasonably priced. The service has always been good and friendly and the vibe is the right blend of casual and fancy. A recent find for us but a regular spot in the future.

Very fancy vibes, without being pretentious. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Every single thing we ordered was delicious!! The bread and butter you get at the beginning of your meal was soooooo good I had to restrain myself to make sure I had room for my meal. Will definitely be coming back the next time I want to treat myself.

One of the best meals I've ever had. The ambiance of a high class restaurant packed into a smaller space is odd at first, but the staff is friendly and the food is incredible. I had the Duck Jameel and a glass of Blackstone Merlot. The portions were generous, the wine was very good and overall a wonderful experience I hope I have the pleasure to repeat soon!

I loved this intimate little gem of a restaurant. The service was courteous & not rush although people began to file- in for the lunch hour. The food was delicious (I particularly enjoyed the Mezes to start.) Every dish ordered just got better. We definitely plan to return and encourage others to visit.⚜🌻

I tried Maple Street pasta for the first time, ordered the Penne Alla Vodka for delivery, and it was DELICIOUS (and hot!)! Really great taste, and my delivery took 25 minutes but it was still steaming when it arrived. Looking forward to trying other dishes from here.

We happened upon this little gem while out exploring NOLA at lunchtime. So good we went back for Thanksgiving dinner. The food is amazing, the presentation so beautiful, and the atmosphere so sweet. I could eat here every day of my life if it weren't for the fact i live a few hundred miles away. If you're in NOLA, look this place up! It's worth it!

We went there yesterday after closing a deal on a house. Let me say............................ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhemmmmmmmgee!!! I had the lamb and my husband had the veal piccata. Cooked to perfection! Very tasty and did not disappoint! Highly recommended. I didn't get our servers name, but she was very professional! Will definitely be back.

Ordered the veal and penne pasta though grub hub with shrimp appetizer. Absolutely no disappointments! Grub hub did a great job with delivery. The gravy on the veal was perfect, I ate the rest of it with a spoon! A meal worthy of New Orleans reputation. Truly a great meal.

Did the owners change? This restaurant has been good in the past and consistent but we were disappointed by this last trip to maple street cafe. There are only cheap wine options (cavit chardonnays and Kendall jackson Rieslings) lack of love and quality in the food like the shrimp and eggplant soup (two small Chinese shrimp in a bowl of soup- not deveined, tasted like a can of tomatoes). Pita sandwiches and fries were ok, the app of fried oysters was fine and service was a little slow but friendly. It was an expensive meal so we left wishing the food would have been made with more care and quality and better drink options.

Delicious food, very attentive staff. Three different people got a different shrimp dish and they all said it was cooked perfectly. The crawfish pasta was amazing with a dash of Tabasco. The seafood pie appetizer was so amazing. Would recommend for anyone looking for tasty seafood. They also had a mediterranean twist on some dishes which was really cool.

This place was great. Highly recommended. We had the Duck Jameel and their Red Fish which was on a Specials menu. Both were great, especially the fish. Service was excellent and we met the owner Jameel who was also extra friendly. Portions are filling. I will be coming back.

Cute restaurant with a great menu. Had the crawfish and feta sandwich and the crawfish pasta, both were very yummy. Service was also good and the bread with homemade butter before the meal was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner if you’re in the area!

I just ordered a huge meal to have delivered to my parents to celebrate my father's 92nd birthday. The service and delivery was perfect and my parents were over the moon about the food. So appreciative, since I couldn't be there to celebrate with them! They handled it so well!

The food was simply delicious and reasonably priced. Mu spouse enjoyed the pasta with shrimp and I the crawfish pasta. Servings were plentiful, the pasta cooked properly a soft al dente, and prices were fair. Dessert was a divided for two--but still plentiful--white chocolate bread pudding. We _highly_ recommend the Maple Street Café.

One of my favorite restaurants to go to in NO. It's cozy, charming and has outside seating. Very convenient since it's close to Tulane University. Food is great and reasonable priced. Great for college students budget. I always get the pasta with crawfish when I go there. They also have a bar. Just be aware that there's a $10 uncorking fee if you bring your own alcohol.

This place is 100% OUTSTANDING! the staff are so careful, and they bring positivity to every customer. I will look forward to coming here soon. A little bit expensive, but totally worth it. I really love the pastas. Equal and amazing seasonings, and i was very surprised about this. Thank you for your work and effort.

This was a terrific experience! We had Christmas dinner today and thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was delicious. The atmosphere was cheerful, very festive and quaint! The prices were very reasonable! Heard the recommendation from Tom Tomorrow on WWL radio. What a fabulous find. Small quaint atmosphere. Spinach and artichoke soup fabulous. I had the almond crusted redfish. Huge portion and cooked to perfection. My husband had the lamb chops cooked to perfection. My son had the pork chop on the bone.......delicious. The best homemade mashed potatoes. Overall fabulous Easter lunch. Ashley our server was great, friendly, and very attentive. Will definitely be back.

First visit to Maple Street Cafe on my way from a delivery and it was great. Very Easy Going Menu, friendly Staff. At first look appears to be a small cozy traditional european cafe, and guess what? It is! Has the look an feel of Comfort with food to match. Set in a comfortable neighborhood it is very relaxing and worth the stop. We had 3 offerings , a fried oyster with Buere Blanc sauce appetizer, followed by Osso Bucco and Veal Piccatta . All topped of with a house made Tiramissu. All in all a very good Sunday Evening meal at a reasonable rate. Chef Leslie Cowdrey OMGG Pastry.

Solid soup and pasta. The waiter was on top of things, so the service was good. The tiramisu is awesome! Highly reccomend it. Coffee was okay but not spectacular. If you're in the area I reccomend stopping by.

Start off by saying the food can't be beat. I'll also mention that we went on a holiday (Easter). Those things stated, it was a horrible visit, and one that will prevent me from returning. We made a reservation but were still made to wait, standing in a cramped area for 30 minutes. Once we were seated we had to wait for another ten minutes before someone asked if we had been helped. After eventually being brought naokins and utensils we were asked if we'd like something to drink. We asked what was available and were brought a wine list. We ordered water and a beer. We then ordered an appetizer and two entrees. The entrees came with soup or salad. We ordered both. They came first, but no bread or crackers. We asked for bread. None came. Then our aooetizer arrived. An incredible fried oyster almandine that screamed "eat me with french bread." We asked again, but alas, none arrived. Finally after asking a third time, minutes before our entrees arrived our waiter brought us three tiny pieces and loudly announced "hot fresh bread". When the meal arrived she asked if we'd like more bread and my wife said yes. We didn't see her again until the end of the meal. Again, I thought the food was tremendous, but unless you've got a lot of time to kill, go somewhere else.
