Flamingo a Go Go is a central staple in the heart of this vibrant art district. You need to have this place on your places to visit when in the Warehouse district or visiting the WWII museum. Casual, come as you are with inside and many outside dining options. We went for lunch and really enjoyed the food!

We Door Dashed from Flamingo A-Go-Go and it was overall quite good. There is an option to customize how your burger is cooked, which is unusual for Dash. The tacos were packaged such that they did not arrive soggy. Chicken bites were pretty small (more breading, less meat) so I'd probably go with a different appetizer.

I went to this place after a 3 month deployment and food was really good. It was a decent size portion. My server Gabriela was phenomenal! She was knowledgeable and friendly as can be. 10/10 service. Would definitely go back because of Gabriela’s service.

I stopped by for the lunch. Great staff and nice food. Manager (David) stopped by to say hello and John (at the bar) was simply fantastic with recommendations. I ordered Rice, Beans and Sausage, make sure you add delicious Fried Chicken to the order.

Great atmosphere, fun drinks. Worth visiting. I ordered the poke bowl and was really happy with it. My friend ordered a salad and she had to send it back because it was swimming in dressing. Overall a great place. They have a fish bowl drink that was like a blue Hawaiian. Also bottomless drinks!

Interesting is definitely the word I'd use to describe it. Neon too. As for the food, I wasn't overly impressed. I got their queso, which really didn't have much flavor. The tortilla chips were nice and crisp, but the queso just left too much to be desired. For my burger, I got the southwest style with guac salsa Verde and some other fixings. And again, it was okay. Not very heavy on the flavor. The real star of the show was the garlic fries and sweet potato fries. I couldn't get enough of the garlic sauce on the fries or the marshmallow dip for the sweet potato fries. Yum!

Food was good service was amazing JoJo was a vibe she made up for my hour wait heads up if you want to sit outside on a beautiful day make a reservation 🙂 we started our drink while we waited for a table that no one was at for an hour but everyone has there way of doing things thank God for the great service changed everything 🥰

My husband and I preplanned on eating here to specifically match our lean and green meal. The temptations were massive from delicious looking burgers to fun filled mixed drinks. We stuck to our plan and had the Aegean Tuna salad which was delicious and very filling! Our server took excellent care of us and I loved the colors and the girly bar vibe. My husband not so much and felt a little out of place, lol! Recommend for a ladies get together or younger generation hangout! They had me at Flamingo!! Fun filled finale to the sobering WWII museum down the street.

Spent a weekend in NOLA and stayed at a hotel near by. Looked up places to eat after a long day and Flamingo a go go showed up. Absolutely glad we went there. Vibe was popping, food was delicious, drinks were great and service was pleasant. Had to go a second time for lunch. Well worth the time and money.

I am so glad we stopped by here on Sunday night! Has a full bar and lovely patio, i bet during the day this is the perfect spot for brunch and IG pics. I had a pineapple upside down frozen drink and it was so delicious. My boyfriend loved his chicken and waffles so much he said it was the best he has ever had. I tried shrimp and grits which was good except i didn't like the grits*. (being from the north and this being my first time the textures thrown me off, but if it was with rice i wouldve loved it!)

Loved the place. Good food too, and a wide selection of drinks! I loved the outside area in the back, very cosy. Perhaps a bit short staffed, so I'd recommend to order large drinks, since service can sometimes take a while, especially during rush hours.

Fun place in the CBD/Warehouse district. Great atomsphere and a super friendly staff. Good selection of fun cocktails and tasty bar snacks. The we didn't eat any of the entrees but the looked good.

It was good! I especially loved their shrimp and grits. It was mouth watering and was suggested by the waitress and it didn't disappoint. We did make reservations, but it didn't seem too busy when we got there.

We went here for cocktails after a day at the WWII museum. The waitress was nice but slow and it wasn't that busy. We didn't eat here so I rated the food a 5 because the people eating looked like they were enjoying their food. We just went for the drinks.

While the outdoor & indoor aesthetic was nice, the food was mediocre. I was with a party of 8 and at the end of the meal everyone agreed their food was average. Food is overpriced in my opinion. Our server was great though!

This is the Grilled Shrimp Alfredo from Flamingo-A-Go-Go and it was absolutely delicious. I loved the Shrimps soaked in the sauce. Make sure to eat it while it's still warm. My Drink was one of their signature fruit drinks, waiter said it was light on alcohol and she was right about that. Inside the restaurant was a bit loud due to a Saints game going on, not sure if that's typical of the restaurant but it certainly catered to my afternoon food craving so the noise didn't matter much. If you have company and need to have quiet conversation, it might be difficult to do that if it's always this loud, but if you're out for fun, you'll certainly enjoy it. I'll be returning again soon. Menu Item: Grilled Shrimp Alfredo ... Gulf shrimp, spinach, kale, roasted pepper, ripe tomato, fettuccini, alfredo sauce.

awesome food, fantastic service. sat outside for breakfast and lived every minute of it. the omelet and breakfast potatoes were delicious and if you like a little morning cocktail, I recommend the Frose.

Shrimp a go go Poboy w garlic Parmesan fries. Also had their pineapple upside down cake drink. Really enjoyed both. Altogether, service was good, drinks are good. Food is pricey, but my dish was good. I was with a large group, a lot of ordered poboys, chicken & waffles ( good) , Parmesan bites appetizer was pretty decent. The burger eh.

We stopped by for drinks two nights in a row while staying at the nearby Higgins hotel. The bartender Emily was engaging and I enjoyed their selection of daiquiris, especially the pineapple upside down cake flavor. We ordered dessert to go, the chocolate cake was good. During this past Essence festival 2022 weekend, it was my first time visiting Flamingo A-Go-Go and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. My waitress Keem was down to earth, patient, attentive, and had an infectious personality. The food was great and the environment and atmosphere was conducive for comfort and will surely encourage me to come back. What I also loved, was that when our waiter stepped away the other waiters/waitresses stepped in to help with no problem willing to help with a smile which made the experience even better. Gaby, Jordan, & Felicity were others that I mentioned were awesome as far as energy, professionalism, and personality. Everyone I mentioned needs to be acknowledged because they were an asset to my experience to the restaurant......and NO I was not ASKED by ANY of them to do this, but I wanted to acknowledge them because we do not do this enough in the hospitality industry and to our waiting staff!

Nice outdoor seating. Went here with some friends and had the shrimp po-boy and Dark Side (sangria). Both were great and the service was good. Friends had the fishbowls and liked them.

A nice lively spot for a drink and a casual meal. It is very busy and the back patio area offers music and a nice place to hang out with friends. The drinks are tasty and the menu offers a nice variety of options. Also, the food menu offers a nice array of options and the food is tasty. The staff seems very friendly and they are attentive, even with the place being very busy. Give it a shot, you will not be disappointed.

The food was okay but a bit pricey for quality and portion size. Drink specials are great. Bottomless drinks for $15 is a great deal but service was slow so i only had 2 drinks. I don't know if we just went on an off day. There is a lot of potential. The outside space is really nice and if service were better I would have definitely added to one of my go to restaurants.

Inside and outdoor decor and space make it a great atmosphere. Indoor did have a sour smell when entering into the restaurant. Jojo was so sweet and attentive! Such a great attitude and personality. I really enjoyed the Alfredo pasta with chicken. Fresh, flavorful and great adding a such as kale, spinach, roasted tomatoes and diced tomatoes. The Frosè was a good drink.

Street parking and off street parking is available all around the restuarant. Remember to feed the meter to avoid a ticket from 8am to 7 pm monday through Saturday. Today we had a reservation for 10 and service was spotty at best. Food service was not as good as a previous visit. There was a large gap between drink orders, appetizers, and our entrees delivered to our table. Servers were obviously shorthanded and we had to do a whole lot of hand waving to get drinks, eating utensils, napkins, condiments, etc. When the food came out, it was hot, and generally speaking pretty good. The sweet potato waffle fries were great. The turkey burger was moist and tasty. The burgers and parmesan garlic fries were good. Fries were on the salty side. The specialty drinks were good. The pineapple upside down cake was sweet and reminded you of the dessert. The frozen frose was a crowd pleaser. However, the Blue Drank featured in a fishbowl was not very strong and had a lot of ice for the $14 charge. More hype than 151 rum, pineapple rum and juices. Outside tables were available and umbrellas and fans provided shady comfort from the elements for those customers. Televisions were spread throughout the restaurant if you wanted to catch the Olympic trials. Our group tipped well and hope for better and consistent food service in the future. It was just nice to be out with friends enjoying laughs, a few drinks and a good meal.

Shrimp a go-go: delicious! Redfish with brocs and red beans-rice: delicious. Shrimp and grits: delicious. Their take on an old-fashioned: tasty. Pineapple Upside Down cake (the drink): hope yoi have a seeet tooth. Forgetting to photograph any of that: priceless.

Me and my wife drove by the place and decided to stop. So glad we did! The atmosphere, food and drinks were amazing! Highly recommend coming. The staff was extremely polite and friendly. Watched a few games on the TV and just enjoyed the atmosphere. Bottomless Mimosas and Margaretta's, cold draft beer and fishbowls! It's off the strip so it wasn't too crazy. We will definitely be returning when we come to town!

We passed this restaurant after spending the day at the WWII Museum. What a great restaurant! Lots of space indoors, but the gem is the patio courtyard! Lots of space, umbrellas and fans. The food was fantastic (shrimp jerk tacos and Acapulco chicken burger). But the best was their garlic and Parmesan fries. Literally the best fries I have ever eaten. Our server Jordyn was amazing and so attentive! She even worked with me to make their Bloody Mary drink be as close to a Canadian Caesar as possible without the Clamato juice. This place is not far out of the French Quarter, on Magazine Street a handful of blocks past Canal. Definitely worth a visit.

Let me explain this review. Service was fine. Our waitress was a doll. Zero design aesthetic for this space. It’s a giant room with a short set of stairs. With a name like Flamingo-a-go-go I hoped for a more vibrant space. The food was over priced pub food. Queso was lacking flavor, chips were fresh. The garlic fries were super salty. The Brussel sprouts were actually pretty good. Biggest disappointment was they had fried shrimp for an appetizer, and they were over fried, puny shrimp. This is New Orleans, if you’re going to have shrimp on the menu, it better be gulf shrimp. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I won’t be returning for this over priced, lackluster food.

I got the chance to eat Saturday bunch at Flamingo A-Go-Go and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent. They had an extensive drink and food menu. My Bloody Mary and chicken breakfast burrito hit the spot. Will definitely be coming back and may come back for dinner tonight.

Our server was absolutely fantastic, the food was decent (I would go again), but the noise level coming from the TVs was insane. I was meeting someone there, or I would've immediately left. The Cowboys v. 49ers game was on and nobody was watching, but our table was yelling over the TV just to speak to one another. It was much, much louder than a movie theater and the commercials were worse! Our server kindly passed our request to turn the TVs down along and he said we were not the 1st request. Eventually, they switched from blasting TVs to music and we all sighed in relief.

The food was good but the service was lackluster. Our server didn’t check in with us after we had our meal, and she was walking away from our table while people were asking her for items. She spent most of the night chatting with the hostess and fellow servers. No manager in sight for the whole meal. The place was empty too.

Excellent service, amazing food with a great selection of NOLA favorites. We visited on cold evening so we didn't get to enjoy the courtyard seating. We'll definitely be back! We tried the jerk chicken tacos which were terrific, spicy and full of flavor, the red beans with the fried chicken was a hit as well, crispy and juicy.

Had an amazing Saturday bachelorette brunch here. Bottomless mimosa was $12 and they just kept filling up our glass, which was great! I had the enchilada. I would say, it was the best enchilada I've had in a very long time. The jerked chicken, rice and beans were perfectly cooked and the tortilla was nice and crisp on the outside. All their dishes had a nice unique taste to it. If you are a social media influencer, go here and take plenty of pictures! The patio area was beautiful

Visited during evening, outside was closed but no big deal. The inside have a nice atmosphere. Half of our party ordered food that later found out it was not available. Big place and great for brunch! We sat in the courtyard. Really loved the harvarti cheese planks appetizer. The shrimp and grits was delicious as well with a bit of hot sauce added. We did bottomless and really enjoyed the frozé.

This was a pretty looking restaurant with a great assortment of menu items. Went for brunch and a reservation is recommended. Service was friendly and fast. It wasn't my favorite meal but not bad. After trying my breakfast rice bowl I immediately wanted to change my order. It was really watery from all the different salsas that were included on the plate. I found it to be a bit bland as well. My friend really enjoyed her breakfast sandwich. Overall, it was an okay experience

I was pleasantly surprised. To start off, the interior and exterior decor is really nice. Props to the management for designing a beautiful and unique atmosphere. Now, I wrestled with giving this place a 4 or 5 but I went with a 5 because mainly, the food was really, really good. The shrimp a go go is amazing! I fully recommend anyone who visits to try it. Some of the best shrimp I've ever had. I also got a regular angus burger with cheese and bacon and it was also really good. It's hard to screw up a burger so that's not saying much though. But the burger was good and the garlic fries was probably even better. The food overall was a A+ and I was very, very surprised and satisfied. My only knack is, as many comments have said, the service can be a tad better. We came on a not so busy Saturday night and our service was still slower than it should have been. I can only imagine how bad it can get on days well they actually catch big crowds. Still, we're pretty patient so we didn't complain, but reading the other reviews, it's obviously management should probably really get better at teaching their servers how to move faster or else you all will keep getting porous reviews. With that said, our server was really nice and apologized for the long wait time. For that, and the great food, I will give Flamingo A Go Go 5 stars, but it would be an unquestioned 5 stars if you get your server performances to go from just okay to great...heck even just good. Still, the food, decor, and attitude of the servers did enough to have me want to bring my business back one day.

My new favorite spot in the city. It’s located in the warehouse district. Great patio with TVs to watch the football games. You can also sit inside as well. The staff is really really nice! I came two Saturdays in a row!

I was walking around a lot in the middle of the afternoon and sound the patio at the back of this restaurant so inviting. Good was great and so was the waitress. They ran out of some desserts so my whole group wasn't able to get their first choice. Be warned that if you use the phone chargers at the bar, you may not be able to confirm the return because they have more chargers than the machines can hold. The chargers are free but when you take it, there is a $47 free if not returned (third party, not them) which is why when they said "well return it as soon as the next one is borrowed" I was concerned and took the managers name down with a picture of the charger I was returning.

The location and decor is so fun and bright . It’s a place to drink and enjoy nice weather outside . The food was okay , nothing big , so eat before coming . Enjoy the drinks because those are delicious . When I visited , it was empty and I imagined it to be a bit more full . We did get a free cup , glasses and a koozie which was awesome . I would only give it 3 stars because I didn’t enjoy the food as much . The staff was friendly , attentive and helpful

Saw this place was busy while walking to the nearby museum. After leaving the museum, we decided to stop in as it didn't look busy anymore. Prior to visiting, we had some pretty sad experiences with the local cuisine. However, this place ended up winning my vote for best food on the trip. Definitely recommend the shrimp and grits.

Bottomless mimosas, margs, or frozen! Had the best Po boy. I usually find them to be too dry but this was delicious. Found it randomly while at the WW2 Museum and I'm so glad I did. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

A bit out of the way if staying on bourbon street but weel worth the walk we sat inside because it was a bit chilly out even for us northerners but the out side area looked like it would be a great atmosphere when the weather is warmer. Their staff is cool, laid back, chill and still attentive as hell. Some friends and I were running the rock and roll marathon on March 4th. When Around Mile 9 I realized we were on magazine street and 3 blocks always from Flamingo. Having had brunch here i know how good their bloody Mary’s are and damn it 9 miles in i wanted one. So I called asked to speak to a manger and asked a very strange request. Needless to say. They obliged, and as I walked up to the door the manager brought me out 2 bloody Mary’s and a Guinness. In TO-GO cups lol. If that’s not service I don’t know what is. Thanks for the drinks guys and the post rAce meal was awesome.

We had Hannah and she was absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed her company. My friend and I had chicken and waffles, while my other friend had the BLT. All were very good. The bottomless price of $16 is insane as you can change the drinks and not be stuck with one type. Mimosas, Frosé’s, and Margaritas were all delicious. The atmosphere outside was lovely.

It was really good food but our service lacked at several levels. One of the staff reeked of weed, the host was bothered that there was no reservations but there were certainly a lot of tables open and our waitress seemed bothered when we asked 20 minutes after ordering where the cup of gumbo was.

Food was very good. Service was slow for as busy as they were. Hostess staff was rude and not accommodating. We were there midafternoon and had other friends join impromptu. We had 16 total and there were maybe 10 other customers in the entire place. Told friends they could not come in and join us at 4 in the afternoon. Finally convinced them to let them join us for a drink but they couldn't sit. Then 1 other showed up at 5 and they wouldn't let her in the building. We were finishing at 5:15 still with only 10 other people in the place and staff standing around. Waitress was nice. Hostess obviously cost them some money and we won't be back. Could have easily said hey we have people with reservations for 6 or whenever so please be ready to go by then.

came here after the museum for some drinks. this place is sick. the colors, the lights, etc. great job. large space and plenty of bar seating. the bartender was very knowledgeable (or good at faking it 😉) and they had a decent range of liquors/beers. if i remember correctly, they had a really good playlist. i liked the look of their menus. didn’t sit outside but their outdoor seating looked just as great. looks like they have room to serve a few 6-8top parties. had a Super Good Advice cocktail and my advice is to ask for it more habanero. Garlic parmesan chicken bites were bomb. Caprese flatbread was a lil oily but i would recommended that as a play-it-safe meal option for picky eaters which is essential at most restaurants. i’ll be back on my next trip to Nola.

If in New Orleans and looking for brunch, I highly recommend the Flamingo A-Go-Go! It’s my new favorite brunch in NOLA! The bottomless mimosas are perfect. I asked the waitress (Amy, definitely ask for her) what she recommended, and she said the chicken and waffles...and they didn’t disappoint. The hand battered chicken and waffles were on point! And make sure to ask for a side of the garlic fries...AMAZING! A great staple with breakfast! Overall, fantastic atmosphere and will definitely be back!!! 🦩

I love this place, but my last visit caused a score drop... Bottomless Frosé was only frozen the first time. Then my waitress said machine was refilled and it takes a while to freeze. But I could see the other machine looked frozen! I guess that was too far away or difficult to get to, but Frosé should be frozen, dang it! The food is always tasty. The ambiance is also great, but they often have it freezing inside so take a sweater even in summer.

I've dined at this location before, but this particular time the restaurant wasn't as busy as before. Our server was nice at first but not very attentive. We can't recollect her even sharing her name with us. Once our food was delivered to our table, our server took so long to come do a two bite check up on us, the ketchup I would have asked for was no longer needed because my Fries were almost done. My lunch buddy ordered an alcoholic beverage and was never offered a water. When she did ask for one it was after the meal and she was given a random water that seemed as if it was intended for another table. By the time the restaurant increased in guest volume we were done, but had to wait on our checks and then search for the server to pay. We could have easily walked out. The food is good but the ball was dropped on service expectations.

93.6% of the reason they stay in business is tourism. We made reservations but it meant nothing since we still had to wait in line behind everyone else for 35 minutes. Eventually we were seated outside on a cramped bench. Most of the patrons were only there to take instagram photos by the front door. The servers had some pretty big slip ups but were remedied in a fair way. Bloody mary was delightful. Waitress was cool enough to leave us 2 pitchers of mimosas. Overall it wasn't terrible

Walked in, one of the servers was happy to see us, we then asked if we could sit outside (it was sunny out) she gave us a nasty stare and then without speaking to us again told the host to "take care of us". We then sat outside the server seemed nice until she was slow, nonchalant, forgot to offer us water after our own personal water was done, forgot our dessert. I've been here a few times. The food has always been great! The service however is less than stellar. The only time I experienced good service was when I was with a birthday party and the birthday dude was friends with the owner or manager or something. That really shouldn't matter. Today I came with my neighbor for brunch. We sat for quite a while before seeing our server. She took drink orders but didn't ask about apps. I had to call after her as she was walking away to order the app. The app came even before water. Both of us have service experience so we understand the challenges but it wasn't busy. We asked 2 people besides our server for our check and still waited for 2 other tables orders to be taken. Girl, drop a check and turn your tables. I usually ridiculously over tip. It was painful to go barely over 10%. Because the food is always so enjoyable and I'm a little obsessed with flamingos I'll probably give Go Go another shot. I hope the service experience improves.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had the "Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bites" and the "Taste of New Orleans" and enjoyed both. Overall a decent experience. Drinks we had were really good, the food was good. Not the best in the area, but better than hometown. Our issue was we waited for almost 45 minutes for service and only got some when we said something. Totally thought we would get some sort of apology discount but didn't. Manager was very friendly and apologetic but server was not apologetic. If ever back in NOLA we'll most likely go again, ahem, I mean a go go again.

This is a difficult review for me due to contrasting issues... One on hand you have the service during brunch on a Sunday morning with a group of my friends. We had the bottomless mimosas, which of course are more juice than champagne (we ordered several bottles of champagne just add our own to the glasses 😁), and a few appetizers. We were happy with what we ordered that day and the service was great! On the other hand, I have visited on a regular day and ordered food and have not been able to finish the food due to the lack of flavor.. I ordered the shrimp and grits which tends to be one of my favorite dishes and usually not a hard dish to make. The service was fine though so I just finished my drink and left without making a fuss. At least my son enjoyed his chicken tenders... So I guess if you are going for drinks and apps for brunch, then I recommend it, but I would say hard pass for anything else.

We stopped here after the WWII museum and were so glad we did. The food was delicious and our waiter was fantastic!! We sat inside. Staff were wearing masks properly and made sure guests were seated socially distanced.

Giving a hesitant 4 star review. I'll tell the good first, then the not so good. Good: Food was good, atmosphere was good, and the outdoor patio was HUGE and beautiful! It was a little chilly so we were told it was closed, but oh well. Prices were the lowest we have seen in New Orleans during our 4 day stay. Restaurant was nice, in general. To the manager/owner: You MUST get your waitresses to be more efficient! There were plenty of waitresses milling around, but at times it just seemed like they weren't sure where to be or what to do. I'm not blaming them, I'm blaming whoever's in charge. It was a bit chaotic. Every single table, including us, waited on drinks for at least 10 minutes. I'm talking g water/soda. My hubby ordered a Bud Light and it seriously took 3 staff members getting involved and about 15 minutes to bring the beer. It was bizarre. Overall it was good, everyone was friendly. Very slow service. Other than that, 5 stars.

Decided to go here for a birthday brunch. Bottomless Mimosas (and Rose) for $12! The mimosas were great, OJ tasted fresh and my glass was NEVER empty. We ordered a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Flatbread and it was amazing. We also got a smoked salmon dip appetizer. Pretty good, I'd say, considering that I don't really like smoked salmon and I ate it anyway. Atmosphere is very inviting & fun. Staff is friendly and efficient, working together to keep everything running smoothly. Only complaint is that the food took a little longer than expected to get to us, but they were PACKED. but I was drunk. So perhaps I had no concept of time... :-) 10/10 would go again

We placed an order for delivery and were shorted two sandwiches. When I called to let them know, David Moore, GM, took the time on a busy Saturday night to make it right. He put in an order for the missing sandwiches and had an employee deliver them in a short time. We were so impressed by the way David went above and beyond and for the employee who delivered them to us. Also impressive were the Acapulco chicken sandwiches - they were really good and we were really happy we ended up with all of them!

Considering all of the great food in New Orleans, this place was OK. On the plus, the drink specials were very well priced. Service was slow but they were quite friendly. Food was slow to arrive and overly salted. They are quite festive and the patio in the back is really nice. The food definitely need to improve to match the quality of the atmosphere, which is excellent.

The restaurant had a good atmosphere and nicely decorated. However, me and my husband came to the restaurant and order take out from the bar. It was a Wednesday night and the restaurant was not full and neither was the bar. So why did it 7 minutes for the bartender greet us and take our order? Then another 37 minutes went by no order or update on our order so we decided to leave. Very nice looking place but need to improve on their customer service skills.

I've been here a few times since it opened and really enjoyed it as a bar. There's a great patio space for when the weather is good and a pretty nice communal high top near the bar for when you want to be inside. The drinks are really delicious - even the on tap cocktails which can sometimes be a sugary mess - and affordable. I can't really remember what I've enjoyed (aside from the king cake daiquiri) because the menu keeps changing but I enjoyed all of them as did my friends. The decor is pretty eclectic but it's certainly not boring and the place feels lively. The food is...ok. It's not amazing but it's good for the price point and again the stars here are the drinks. I would recommend this place for a happy hour or group outing since there's space and you could get some apps to share without breaking the bank. But I doubt I'd come here to eat primarily. The service can be hit or miss. The front house staff is usually very nice and the one female bartender is just the best! But last time I went some youngish male bartender was being really rude. I'll likely be back a lot since I live nearby. I think this place is a great bar to please just about anyone.

This is a review for their brunch. The food was excellent- honestly. It’s the only reason for two stars. Also, if you can sit on the patio, the atmosphere is great! So pretty. Bottomless mimosas are premixed and flat. We ended up using straws to get more carbonation and that actually worked (so if you go for mimosas and are as disappointed as I was you can try that trick lol). Bottomless margs are only frozen. But you can switch between the margs, Bellinis, and mimosas so that’s kind of nice. Although none of them are great. Service was terrible. I think we just had a bad waitress honestly because the table next to us seemed to have a great waitress. But that’s how the cards are dealt sometimes! The manager came over a few times and did not really make it better. You could tell he was upset and our waitress was upset and it was really awkward.

We went for the first time last time just wanting to sit outside to eat and drink. Our out of town guest had the find a table app on her phone so she made our reservations for 6:30 for 4 people. We arrive there at 6:20 and was told we had a 30 minute wait but if we wanted to go have a drink at the bar the hostess would come get us when our table was ready, we told her no problem. Well 40 minutes goes by and our hostess is not working another girl is and she is seating parties of 4 outside, so I go up to her and tell her that we had reservations for 6:30 and we have been already waiting 40 minutes, and she told me she would look into it. As more people arrive she continues to seat them all outside, so I went up to her and asked her if the other hostess is gone for the day because she was the one that was going to come get us when the first table was available and the hostess said she was on a break. I am trying to contain my frustration but told her I didn’t think it was right that she was seating all these people knowing that we were here and had reservations. The hostess promised to look into it so we decided to just pay our car tab and just go elsewhere for dinner, hell it was our first time there and I already had it in my mind that I will never be back because there are too many great restaurants in the New Orleans area to go to. As we are paying our bill the hostess comes over and says she has a table for us, so we all looked at each other and agreed to be seated. As we are sitting waiting for someone to come to our table, the manager arrives at our table with a plate of quest dip and chips and apologies for us having to wait so long and asked if I paid for my 1 Frose’ and I said yes, and he said you will now receive the bottomless Frose’ at no charge and continued to apologize for our wait. All we needed was an apology for the screwup but by him acknowledging the mixup and going out of his way to fix the situation and can say that we will be back there, it’s a fun cool vibe and we had a great time.

The food was very tasty the service was slow even though the restaurant had only 3 other tables occupied. The fries are wonderful with the garlic topping on them didn't need ketchup at all. The lone star burger had big bacon strips and was good but it comes with no vegetables. The jerk burger was good as well and had a nice amount of spice in it.

The food and drinks are excellent. Super flavorful and savory. The outdoor space is the true gem of this establishment. My only hiccup is that I attended a wedding rehearsal dinner here and they were not ready to accommodate such a party despite the prior arrangements made. Then they attempted to put such a large party near the door which was not acceptable. The father of the bride has to speak to management to correct this which they did with some coaxing. After this out waitress was amazing at ensuring we had everything we needed.

Maybe. 3.5 stars would have been more accurate for my visit there. Would have stayed later and ordered more drinks but the host brought our party the check at 11 while we still had drinks and food on the table. They're open until 2. 🙄 We took it as our cue to leave.

The first time I came here, it was for brunch and it was amazing. The botomless mimosas are a great deal, and their food is top notch, however the second time was a huge disappointment. We asked to sit outside because of the beautiful weather, but were told there weren't enough servers for the patio, which is understandable. Our waitress brought our drinks after about 30 minutes and spilled some of the beer on our table (and my dress), she apologized and wiped it up but that was about it. Our food came after another 30 minutes and we had to track down a manager to get our check because our waitress was no where to be found. I'd like to come back but it will definitely be only during brunch, and hopefully the waitstaff will be more professional. We would have loved to order more from the awesome drink menu, but we could never find anyone to order from. We noticed when we left that there were other guests on the patio, so that definitely bummed us out that we missed out.

We did have to wait quite a while after our reservation time for our specified area to become available, but the recovery service thereafter was very good. The brunch here is very reasonable and great if you're on a budget. You can get 2 entrees and not break the bank. The quality of food was great and decently sized. I know they have bottomless mimosas, but I haven't had them. The Frose drinks is good. Would definitely recommend for a tourist and/or a new transient.

MAKE A RESERVATION BEFORE GOING !! Went last week for brunch with a friend. We got there around 12:15. They said it would be about an hour wait because they had a reservation at 1:15. We waited an hour and forty minutes. After asking them multiple times what’s going on, they explained to us that they had reservations again around 3 and had to accommodate for the parties who had reservations first. None of the parties came in and they sat us at a table that has been empty since my friend and I arrived. We purchased bottomless mimosas and sat at the bar waiting to be seated. Once we were finally able to get a table, our mimosas were only filled once. In addition, we only saw our waiter once and that was to take our order. She forgot our utensils and a staff memeber was luckily walking around and saw we had none and gave us our utensils. Shouts out to him ♥️ Luckily, the food was great and were able to get some great pictures at the end of it all, but it is highly recommended to call ahead and make a reservation because you will not be seated until after the parties are taken care of if they even show up. Also it’s probably best to sit at the bar on a busy day. You will get serviced faster.. I’m open to going back because this place is a very very great spot to bring friends and have a great time, but we will definitely be calling ahead to make our next experience more enjoyable !!

Hi, I don’t usually write an review about a restaurant but I had to for this establishment. On Jan.6,2019 my family took a lil road trip to New Orleans. Once leaving the Zoo we was google for near by places and stumbled upon this location. Mind you it’s a family of very picky eaters with different diets. Our waitress was amazing because she never gave us attitude by it being our first time there we had many questions. She respectfully and politely answered every question. She also gave us the best suggestions. The food was great we didn’t have to wait long. The plus was that the manager came around asking was everything ok even chatted with us for a few seconds. We definitely will be back they showed us that they care about their customers. Next time we visit New Orleans we will be returning.

Our waitress, Jessica H., went above and beyond to make our first visit to Flamingo-A-Go-Go a special one. We were a large party split over two tables and she made us feel like we were the only customers in the restaurant. She got us our (delicious) cocktails quickly and our food even faster. Despite how busy it was, she had a great attitude and was very accommodating and cheerful. The onion rings and the tuna poke bowl were both incredible. We likely won't be back in town for quite a while, but you can be sure we'll be making a return visit when we do.

Such a great spot! A massive patio and superb staff compliment the unique and tasty Menu! I tried the seared tuna salad, which was delicious and the perfect portion. Prices are very affordable. Oh yeah and don't forget- Flamingo A-Go-Go is super pet friendly. They even have a menu just for dogs!

I've been to Flamingo go go before and had an excellent experience, but this time was a total 180. We had a server named Amber, and she was terrible! We watched her walk around our table and serve her other tables around us. She never came to check us or see if we needed anything. Anytime I asked her for something, it would take her at least 30 minutes to bring a refill or anything! I will most likely go back to this restaurant but will definitely request a different server.

The appearance of Flamingo is fun. I didn't eat outside but the patio. Looked amazing. The food however was mediocre. My burger looked to be a preformed Patty and my brioche bun was cold. My boyfriend had the mass gulf fish and he enjoyed it. We thought it was funny that the waiter asked if he wanted to substitute the Jamaican style beans and rice for something else when placing the order. There's more than one way to make beans and rice buddy! With that being said the service was very good.

Went here twice during my trip to NOLA. The food was pretty good, so even though the service wasn’t amazing the first time we went, we decided to give them another try because it was close the hotel and they do have some interesting choices on the menu. Again, the service left quite a bit to be desired. The waitresses were very nice but kept forgetting to put in various parts of our orders. Both times, my appetizer came out long after the entrees had been delivered. I would say this place is ok. Not terrible if you’re looking for a casual place to get some interesting food and some drinks. However, if you’re in New Orleans, there are literally thousands of restaurants to choose from. Take that as you will.

The service staff looked swamped with the restaurant a third full. I had a party of 4 including myself. We were seated rather quickly but waited 20 minutes to get water. I can't speak on the food because we waited over 40 minutes for our orders. I only ate a little of my French Onion Soup au Gratin and it was ok I should have sent it back. One person ordered a drink and we had to ask the waiter why we never got it after almost and hour. I am giving this review three stars because I have been to worst establishments. It would help if they had adequate staff and training. I don't think it was all the kitchens fault but I could be wrong!

I hadn't heard of the place before and found them on the Opentable app. I made reservations. I'm glad we had done that as they were turning people away because of long wait times. It was ok. The place was so loud I couldn't hear the waitress on most things. We ordered and app and two sandwiches. There wasn't anything special about anything we ordered. The cuban tasted ok and was rather small. The garlic fries were flavorful but there wasn't a decent serving size. We gave up talking to each other too since it was so loud.

Nice ambience, however they need to leave the greens too the soul food restaurant. I suggest they put the vinegar down before they get arrested for assault on a vegetable. The garlic fries were good, the shrimp and grits were awesome as were the ball bites bits.. tad bit pricey but it was downtown New Orleans..

The cost was good. The service, not so much. Purchased bottomless mimosas and had to keep flagging other servers down to refill. Was there from 11:15am until 1ish and seen our server maybe 4 times. Figured the wild berry waffles had more than 2 strawberries; but waffle qnd syrup was on point. Jerk chicken breakfast was good. Perhaps another visit will be better.

We were staying at the hotel down the street. This place is a good place to get drinks. They have a limited menu, not much creativity. A great place to hand out and mediocre food. As for most covid precautions there are outdoor dining options open.

This is a great place to brunch! I went here during a bachelorette party of 9 and we had the best time! Our server Amanda was amazing and very enthusiastic. The outside and inside areas have great vibes and decor. Who doesn’t like endless mimosas and rosè for $10?! and the food was great and very affordable

Did not enjoy the shrimp and grits at all, BUT the atmosphere and drinks were delightful and my husband's burger and fries were super good. So, maybe just a wrong meal choice on my part. An ok place, I'd give it another try.

Great drinks and both bartenders were friendly and proficient. This location is very close to the WWII museum and is worth including if you are going to the museum. Neat outdoor space. Only had drinks so I can't speak to the quality of the food.

Ordered the brussel sprouts, smoked gouda grits and greens. Enjoyed everything, but the greens. The grits were absolutely delicious and so was the greens. The highlight was the manager Missy. Super cool!!! My only complaint is I need you all to know the difference between sparkling water and soda water.

Overpriced for the portions that you receive. Sat indoors and the music was so loud we had to yell at each to speak. Food was so-so. Will I go here again maybe but will sit outdoors.

We stumbled upon this fun dive bar while looking for a place for lunch. Don't come here on a diet—the food is delicious, but likely not for those eating light. They had a decent drink menu, as well, and plenty of outdoor seating.

This was our first time eating here and I must say I was pretty amazed! The waiter alone was worth all 5 stars, so at this point the food was a bonus! They had hush puppies in the red beans that had a hint of spice and had corn it and IT WAS AWESOME! Definitely go check this place out! They have really nice seating outside as well!

Went in the evening time with a group of 11 people with no reservation. They were very accommodating and seated us in the patio around a tree. The crawfish soup was amazing. Must try for those who like seafood.

Red Beans and Rice with added popcorn-style chicken (extra charge). I had grits on the side as an appetizer. Had a bottomless Frose. All tasty...with, of course, Louisiana's very own Crystal hot sauce as a condiment if you want to pick up the spice level.

Best Bloody Mary I’ve ever had in my whole life period. They have a really cool reservoir of vodka with olives and other pickled garnishes in it that makes the drinks amazing. Good nachos too

The atmosphere is quirky. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. There were a few out of the ordinary dishes on the menu. I did not order anything unusual so for me, the dining experience was just mediocre. The wait staff was friendly and knowlageable and the price was OK.

Will most definitely be coming back and recommending to others. There was a 45 minute wait towards the end of Sunday brunch but we immediately found seats at the the bar and were waited on full service right away. They were out of some food items on the menu but the food we ordered was delicious! Our bartender, Kyle, was excellent!

Pretty dope spot to watch spots and to have kickbacks.. Really nice patio!!! The dishes (Jerk Chicken Tacos, Nachos Nachos & the Angus burger were on point!! The Froze & Pineapple upside down cake frozen daiquiri were really tasty!!!!
