As you can see I really enjoyed The District. I ended up spending like 115 dollars over 2 days. The first day I got some a taste of the pork belly Slider, and that just tickled the good part of my brain. It was on a great butter bun and the pickled onion put it over the top. It was my favorite slider, but it wasn't my only favorite. Chicken and Hamburger was a must try too. The donut was awesome, they had a Golden Gram Cereal inspired donut, it was light and fluffy. It's a little expensive, but the staff was a joy they gave great recommendations and made sure I left happy.

YUM! Our group of four was craving a donut for breakfast and we made the walk to this cute shop. They have a rotating selection of donuts - we ordered the cream filled and the carrot cake and sat at the bar area with our tangerine juice. The juice was really yummy, and the donuts were fantastic. It was cool to watch fresh donuts being made along with the breakfast selections. We ordered honey hot chicken sandwiches and the bacon taco. The bacon taco was out of this world, it was a perfect savory, fresh breakfast. The honey hot chicken was good - though I wish there had been an option for a regular biscuit, the French toast biscuit is AMAZING but it is very decadent and I could not eat the whole biscuit (I took the bottom off and had the top with the chicken). The chicken was really tasty. Great little spot for a quick breakfast!

Easily one of the best meals we have eaten in our lives. Not a single complaint. The lavender latte was perfect, not over powering or too sweet. Cinnamon roll is unreal, with a flaky exterior. The biscuits are legitimately perfect so the bacon egg cheese was good but basic. However the star of the show is the hot chicken sandwich on French toast biscuit... I can't even begin to describe what an absolute treat it was to have eaten that. If I lived in New Orleans I'd be here as often as possible. The space is big, good amount of seating, very clean, with friendly staff. There is a good amount of seating both inside and out. The back patio is cute with string lights and a mural. You can't ask for anything better. 10/10

One of my new favorites… cool, hip and eclectic. The menu offers everything from delicious donuts to sliders and hamburgers. I tried the highly recommended Fried Chicken biscuit. It was huge and unbelievably awesome. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Nice spacious dining room with an old rustic feel.

Without any doubt in the depth of my soul nor in the heart of my donut-loving girlfriend this is the most eloquent and superb donut we have ever tried! Okay okay, we understand that they have multiple donuts - and we did try more than one - but particularly the maple bacon stood out as a simple masterpiece. The Edvard Munch of donuts. Had donuts been from Norway. Or something. Either way, this is me shouting about how magnificiently delicious donuts are in this place. If you’re close, go. Then go again! Because you’re going to want to come back. Also, I don’t remember the price of the donuts, but that won’t matter to you when you’re there blessing your palate with the goodness of these donuts! Review done. You’re welcome!

The donut selection is great. Trying to pick just one may be a problem. They all look delicious. I went with the lemon blueberry donut. It was very lemony... subtle blueberry & very sweet. We had the hot honey chicken biscuit. Mine was dark meat, which I do not like! My boyfriend got white meat & he really enjoyed his. After speaking to an employee, we found that you can specify white meat if you prefer. I think that should be added to the menu or conveyed to customers when they order.

We absolutely enjoyed our breakfast. My son ordered the hot chicken honey butter biscuit, daughter ordered the bacon, egg, & cheese biscuit, & my husband & I both ordered the bacon taco. Y’all! The bacon was huge! There was so much flavor on this tortilla. We got a few donuts for the road too. So glad we stopped by. They may be busy, but they’re also fast. Gotta love a short menu.

Hidden gem that will start off any morning the right way with a home made from scratch biscuit or donut. There nitro is fantastic and the service is fast and friendly. They have a something for everyone with a great selection of sweet or savory to go with your morning pick me up.

Loved it! 100% recommend this place. The "hot chicken honey biscuit french toast" is so good. Whoever created it deserves an award. The donuts are good too. This place stays busy. The area is full of beautiful homes, boutiques and art stores.

One of the best donut places in USA. First came in 2018, returned in 2022 and the quality has not changed. They only have about 10 donuts to choose from every day but they make them count with flavors and combinations. It’s a bit off the main drag in NOLA but worth the trip.

The fried chicken slider was delicious. Crispy, crunchy and that slaw! Amazing. Also really really rated the fresh lemonade. Only giving 4 stars as my donut was just okay. Would come back if I was in town again.

The Rooster is the best fried chicken sandwich ever. Hands down. Get it and you won’t regret it. But avoid at all costs the espresso lemonade. It shouldn’t exist. The donuts were meh. We had the peanut butter cup donut but nothing about it was wow. The donut was like cake, and the PB cup topping wasn’t great either. Cool vibe inside too! I loved the repurposed piano parts and other antique furniture incorporated into the decor.

This is a great donut place. They also have sliders but I honestly never tried. Their coffee is also decent, as long as you’re not expecting barista grade brews. Well located at charming Magazine Street in NOLA.

Delicious! Stopped here on a whim while next door for a sandwich. Has the Mocha Almond donut and it was to die for. Ended up getting a second one to take home with me. Definitely worth the stop and stepping outside the most popular destinations of New Orleans.

The praline bacon, egg, and biscuit was okay.. just okay.. the sweet bacon reminded me of one of the breakfast sandwiches from McDonald’s.. the cinnamon bun tasted good but not the best I had.. overall, I would skip.. I haven’t tried the coffee, maybe that’s worth coming for.

Great food at reasonable prices. We had pork belly, cheese burger and fried chicken sliders. They were all delicious, but the fried chicken was my favorite. We also had a blueberry pastry which was amazing.

I had the egg and cheese biscuit with bacon to go. One of the best biscuits I’ve had. Also had a cinnamon roll. I’ll be honest that my palate leans more toward savory rather than sweet. With that said, my opinion was that the cinnamon roll was a bit too sweet. It was delightfully moist and cinnamon-y, but a bit strong on the icing/roll ratio. Not going to knock the review though as I know my taste skews away from overly sweet. The brûlée on top of the cinnamon roll was also a nice touch and added a nice textural component. And the biscuit made up for absolutely anything- it was spectacular. Overall solid spot.

What a fun brunchie experience! We got a half dozen assorted assuming leftovers but as you can see, we did a great deal of damage offer our lattes. Late Night Snack Cookie Dough Cinnamon Roll Christmas Cookie Brown Butter Pistachio Mango Sticky Rice And one each of their Kolaches. Everything was great and the atmosphere was fun. My friend and I had the same tip 3 but in a different sequence. Cinnamon Roll is a must and the Late Night Snack (which got devoured!). All the donuts are good and they all have their own charscter. Good cake, fantastic icing and neat toppings (chocolate covered chips?). The mango rice was odd but not bad. All in all, a great trip. Kolaches were both very tasty but definitely preffered the sausage jalapeño. It was very tasty. I come to New Orleans frequently but do not spend nearly enough time here (outside of the quarter). Maybe next trip.

Donut care about that diet 👏 Is exactly what my dad said because these donuts from @districtdonuts were just that good! He’s usually no to low carbs but he’ll break his diet on vacation or for something really worth it. My parents stumbled upon this donut shop in New Orleans and my ate TWO - caramel glaze and dirt cake. Wish I was there to try these.

I ordered the chorizo taco and hot chicken biscuit on a recommendation from a coworker. The chorizo taco could have had more pizzazz with the heat level. I got a side of Tabasco to wake up some of the flavors. The hot chicken biscuit won the day. Its HUGE and messy. I felt like a child eating it because there were crumbs everywhere. The biscuit and chicken were very complimentary to each other. Coming back again for donuts next time.

The chicken on the Honey butter biscuit is spicy juicy and delicious! The donut taste less sweet than traditional but they’re more aesthetically pleasing, so I think they are healthier but don’t quote me… Just know you’re going to need a knife and fork to eat those Bougie donuts.

What I ordered isn’t what I got. I did not ask for bacon. I asked for slider sauce which I didn’t get even though I paid for it. The Pattie’s are so small. I could put both next to each other and make a single burger. Not a double. Smh. Tragic. And the slider sauce was needed for it being so dry.& there’s no pickle on here. That’s usually the best part. Upon calling, I did get a refund. It’s sad though. Now I know to have people FaceTime me before they leave so I can be certain my food is correct. The guy must’ve been new. Just a learning lesson. The fries were good though. Not as good as normal but decent.

Some of the best food I had during my week in New Orleans. So damn good I went back on the day of my return flight home. The Hot Chicken & Honey Butter French Toast Biscuit was absolutely delicious and packed full of flavor. I managed to find room to polish off a chocolate chip cookie and a donut each time as well.

Sensational selection of doughnuts. The glazed is light and fluffy. We were surprised the blueberry cheese cake doughnut was so light with the right amount of tartness. Really light and refreshing salad. Perfectly crispy fried chicken. Sliders were a great portion. I can see why my friend wanted to walk two miles to this location. It is well worth the trek.

Some of the best donuts and biscuits in the country. Today the service was not great the guy who took my order didn't seem to know anything about the donuts they offered. I asked if a particular donut was cake or yeast and he didn't know. The cashier left people standing in line to make coffee orders instead of simply saying he would be right back. I guess he was having a bad day but several customers walked out. Customer service is key.

Couldn’t ask for a better combination of food - donuts, sliders, coffee, sandwiches, fries! District Donuts Sliders Brew reminded me of a hippy Portland restaurant in Oregon. Not only everything is tasty, but also reasonably priced with lifelike ambiance. I tried a latte, chicken sandwich, hot chicken & honey butter french toast biscuit, and two donuts. The sandwich and the biscuit were the best of all in my life. The coffee was not the best, but I did enjoy donuts. Ambiance - young and trendy Service - staffs are friendly and kind Pricing - fair, on par with other restaurants Should I revisit NOLA, this will be the first restaurant I will return.

My friend told me to visit here. I wasn't really in the mood for a donut but I'm glad we went. The donuts are large and full of flavor. They also have some great slider combos. I had their chicken slider on waffle fries. The flavors were great, but the fries were undercooked. I recommend sticking with the slider bun. The pork belly had great flavor but was a bit over salted.

Not many donuts, late in day, so opted for leftover donuts and sliders. Sliders were on point. Advised person over grill one to one. Service wise, just be kind, when talking don't assume everyone knows what is going on inside and look at us stupid when we ask where are the donuts.... Because there are none visible.

Ok question. Why is this place so great? 🧐I’m not from around here but came here two days in a row for breakfast. Wow wow wow. The biscuits are so wow. The bread is so soft with crunchy outside🤤. Amazingness. I love love love the different donut options🍩. Super unique. I love donuts in general. Saturday mornings are so crowded wow. These really are some amazing donuts. I’ve been here before on other trips and I try to get back when possible. They rotate through flavors daily, and they have some good ones in the line up, unfortunately I’m usually not around for my favorites. This trip was cookie dough, pumpkin latte, brown butter drop and the most amazing cinnamon roll ever. It’s brûléed! Yes. I now think all cinnamon rolls should be brûléed. I was a little let down with the filling in the cookie dough one, they must have put it in while the donut was warm, it turned to liquid and poured out when I bit into it. Other wise still good though. The brown butter drop donut is also tasty. Not very sweet if that is your preference. Also had one of their new savory bowl offerings. Incredibly good, all prepared fresh and you can watch it in the kitchen area if you choose to.

Best place for breakfast in town. I visited this place 2 times during my stay in the city for business. Both times the place was packed but the service was super fast I would say that everyone got their order done within 5 minutes after ordering. Everything is delicious and well presented. Great find! They have a breakfast and a lunch/dinner menue. We had the sliders (road beef, pork belly, and hot chicken) and we think the chicken is the better of the 3. That was the Vietnamese coffee cream doughnut and it was delicious. Definitely recommend this place.

We came here after hearing it had food donuts and I always crave donuts! Even our driver raved about it. I think the interior was really cool, the donuts were yummy, and the people were nice! I recommend this place if you want something sweet or some coffee because the coffee was delicious. These donuts are a bit denser than what I'm use to and it can be a bit heavy and fill you up. I recommend the Fluffernutter and Cinnamon Roll, they were delicious. We didn't try their sliders, but they looked delicious. Prices are pretty decent for what you get and the donuts are big! This is a good spot for families, casual dates, groups, and coffee.

The best chicken sandwich to ever exist! Came from Austin and made sure to eat here twice during my 3 day stay! The pimento cheese and homemade slaw take it to the next level! The sweet and spicy chicken biscuit they have is also very good if you can handle a little heat! Coffee is also top notch!

Dangerous place!!! I try not to go there often because is too 'delicious' and I can see myself there every day. Dougnouts are pretty big and phenomenal they have some savory food too, their sliders are amazing. Coffee and beer as well. There's street parking and a parking lot next to the building (pay to park). They have a few tables outside if you want to sit there.

The best. Goooooo right meow. UPDATE: this is my second time here. The place is super cool as always and the staff is always really awesome. I got the vanilla bean latte with almond milk, and it is good, but a tad bit too sweet for me. But no fault on them ! We also got the regular glazed donut, a king cake, and a key lime donut. ALL OF THEM WERE TO DIE FOR!! so tasty and the coffee grounds you can buy in their bags are always a win win.

Fun donut shop. They have specially donut sandwiches, sliders, and brews. Along with a variety of donuts. I had the Monte Cristo which has had and cheese between a friend cut donut with raspberry jam on top. The donuts were heavy and filling. You could tell everything was very fresh. The service was good and they moved people through very quickly.

A really great find. The donuts are great- I usually hate donuts but this was delicious. We got the donut to go. They were out of the veggie burger but the chicken sandwich was delicious. My husband enjoyed the burger. I had fresh made lemonade which was great. They do not serve alcohol but you can bring it in with you. I don't think you need it they have other great options. They have a ton of coffee brews which you can take out via cup to growler. The place has a fun vibe. Check it out!

If you follow my reviews you know I only give 5 stars if the food is good AND it's a fun experience. Very little to complain about here other than a moderate wait time, which is the usual. The donuts were perfection. I had the cinnamon roll brulee and the buttermilk drop. So good, especially the warm cinnamon roll. I could eat that everyday.

So DELICIOUS! we went to Magazine st just because of this donut shop and it was amazing. They have around 120 different donuts and every day is different. We had Oreo donut and Mexican hot chocolate. I really hope they open a branch in other cities.

Stopped by here during our visit in Thanksgiving trip to NoLA.. the staff was very friendly.. I was taking some pics and one of the sereves thought I was lost and offered to help order. The pecan donut and waffle fries were yummylicious... And coffee was good. The place has great vibe and would definitely recommend if are looking for a quick bite and coffee.

So happy we stopped here during our walk. Coffee is excellent, full bodied with deep, rich, complex flavor. Not watered down Starbucks style, not hipster-style over-exotic carburetor-cleaner grade strength stuff. It was perfect coffee, smooth, not acidic, delicious. Donuts were likewise perfect: don't be fooled by their large-sized look, because they are very fluffy, airy and light, not greasy in the least, and not overly-sweet like the sugar explosion that you get with most donuts these days. The Coconut cream was delicious, and paired with coffee, a perfect rest snack on a 20K step walk. Highly, highly recommended you stop at DD&C.

First time year and definitely coming back!!! Place was so cool and clean, staff was just absolutely amazing! And the food...🤤 seriously the best! I got a bacon,egg and cheese biscuit, cinnamon roll and mocha iced coffee. The sandwich was so good, that biscuit was just heaven and the cinnamon roll had such a unique twist to it I couldn't get enough!! The coffee was perfect! We returned to DDSB during our 2nd trip to NOLA…and it continues to be AWESOME! The biscuit is appropriately crunchy on the outside but soft & flaky inside. You can’t go wrong with any of the biscuit sandwiches. However, be warned that it quite the hefty meal when you add in a donut.

This place has SO much character. On the window it says "donut lose". Any place that I begin a relationship with on a pun is a place I donut ever want to forget about. The only negative about this place is my friend and I were almost paralyzed with the decision between the creme brulee cinnamon roll and the storm trooper. It was May 4rth when we went. They had a ton of beautiful amazing donuts named and created after Star Wars... Get it? May the forth be with you. Love this place!! YOU MUST VISIT. Make it your cheat day.

This place is excellent. From the beginning I was impressed with the cozy environment and friendly staff. Then the food and coffee came out and everything got better. I had a 16oz mocha which was an excellent blend of sweetness and the taste of the coffee itself. I ordered a Monte Cristo, which here means it is made one a donut instead of deep fried bread, and it was excellent. Definitely stop by for lunch if you are visiting New Orleans.

The morning we went, the place was hopping! Wait in line, peruse the menu and the display case. Staff were busy but very friendly and efficient. Companion and I both had the Croque Madam=delicious! And filling. Kept us going for hours of sight seeing. We took a bus over from Treme, definitely worth the trip. Unfortunately, they have plumbing issues and the toilet didn't work properly=nasty. Otherwise, a fun, tasty, interesting little place to visit.

I do think it is over priced because I easily spend close to $30 just for a small meal for myself. This place is well known for its outrageous doughnuts and delicious sliders. However, they also have a lavender latte that's worth taking a detour for. Warning: the doughnuts are HUGE. I usually get a couple (the selection changes almost daily) to bring to the office, where we eat slices of the different doughnuts.

Seriously, one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Two gorgeous, perfectly seasoned and juicy patties and side of waffle fries paired perfectly with the selection of classic sodas on tap. The salad even came with donut croutons for the love of God! Definitely recommend.

The breakfast here is otherworldly. Seriously, if you do not try anything else, you have to try the taco. You only need one because the thing is massive. It is seriously one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. Every single flavor in it is a hit! The sauce, the think smoky bacon, the eggs, the harvati. Try the taco. But I did try the egg and cheese biscuit with strawberry jam and honestly is it the perfect breakfast sandwich. It even smells perfect. I didn’t get a picture because I needed to eat it so quickly. You cannot go wrong with either.

This place is decent. We got chocolate glazed and a biscuit. The glaze and the housemade sprinkles were stellar, but the donut was heavy. I imagine it holds up well to the complicated toppings. The biscuit had a nice flavor, but was a bit dense to eat plain. I'd recommend getting a complicated donut or biscuit, rather than the plain ones. coffee was good. Service was friendly and prompt despite the line.

A friend bought me some donuts from here while we were visiting and oh my goodness they were delicious! The dough was genuinely good. Got harassed by a bum outside cussed and threatened, donut was kind of stale and for 4$ I got literally maybe 10 French fries? It wasn't bad food but for the price I expected more. For being known for their donuts it was bland and crummy in texture and dry I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. Amending an earlier review, my second visit was much improved. Solid eats, bit pricey and very crowded. If anything on the menu sounds like something you will like, chances are you with. I still will never order fried chicken here. Go with a different slider. 915 and they are out of kolache. No sign, and a ten minute wait in line to find out. Logistics need to improve.

Some of the best iced coffee and sliders in the city! Don't get me wrong the donuts are great, but you will literally have dreams about their pork belly sliders! The burgers are awesome, too! They have really creative and tasty donuts that change daily. The chocolate peanut butter and maple bacon are some of our favorites. District Donuts is a great spot to bring guests from out of town. Last week was my first time going to the restaurant itself and I couldn’t have had a better experience. We got the sliders, a sandwich and plenty of donuts! The food was astounding, and I would come back for that alone. Before this I had only known of District through getting their donuts brought to me as leftovers by friends and even then I wasn’t complaining but the in-person experience is worthwhile as much as the takeout experience. The hamburger slider was my absolute FAVORITE, and a must-get if you’re there for lunch.

District Donuts has a great ambiance and friendly staff who are always extremely welcoming. Their food is great for the most part but for a place that should pride themselves on their donuts, I expected a little more. Their donuts are par at best. I love the idea of having different toppings for their donuts daily but those toppings and the size of the donuts seem like a facade for the taste and quality. Their coffee and sliders on the other hand are great! They also have a variety of additional breakfast items such as their kolache and bacon and egg biscuit sandwich. I'll definitely frequent the restaurant, but not for their donuts.

I’m giving this 5 stars only because I truly do love district donuts and the employees are always so awesome… but do have some small criticism's. I’ve been going here over the years and I used to get so excited about what crazy delicious donuts they would have. But I feel since expanding the business further the quality and creativeness has haltered and reversed a little. I’m not sure if it’s maybe to save money which is totally understandable especially nowadays more than ever. But district donuts used to be a must stop destination when in Nola and I typically dont really go anymore just because it doesn’t seem like it used to be donut wise. I feel like had I gone there in the past for example the brownie batter would’ve been a filled donut that had brownie batter in the middle with brownie on top and like cosmic brownie chips or something crazy on top of the icing. But this time is was a dryer chewy donut with a thin layer of icing and brownie chunks that kind of seemed like boxed brownie mix, which is fine but as a whole it just didn’t work and didn’t seem like a district donut. And that’s just an example because any of the donuts I’ve had in recent years just don’t scream district donut to me, just hasn’t been hitting the same. So I’m a little sad, but I will continue to visit here and there!

Had the cheeseburger slider and it was out of this world!!! Honestly, it was one of the best burgers I have had in my entire life. My wife had the Monte Cristo and she normally hates raspberry anything but loved this one. The lemonade was a little on the bitter/acidic side and the pork belly slider did not taste fresh. The sandwich was fresh but the pork belly was not. Took one bite and left the rest. That was not money well spent. The donuts are tasty and the flavors rotate. The day we went, we had the blueberry cheesecake, the nectar creme, the almond joy and the german chocolate.

The doughnuts here are really good, but I made an order through Uber Eats and was severely disappointed. I ordered 3 extra fancy and 3 fancy doughnuts (costing almost $30 for 6 doughnuts after fees) and they gave me 3 of the same extra fancy ones. All three had a huge slice of pineapple on top, seeming like they gave me 3 of whatever wasn't selling well today. It's a sad day when you order your girlfriend (who doesn't love pineapple) doughnuts to work for her bday and that's what you get. Update: My girlfriend liked the doughnuts so much that I've got to boost the rating. The doughnuts are still delicious, but some improvements on the UberEats orders could be made.

Had high hopes for this place. Found it online since it was close to where I was staying. I got the Slider Trio. Pork Belly, Chicken and a Cheeseburger one. The Pork Belly was very salty, the Chicken was "Stringy" if that's a thing and the Cheeseburger had a mayo on it what left a weird taste in my mouth. The highlight was the Waffle Fries and the Drinks. They had unusual names and great taste.

Cindy was delightful, made a great cappuccino, provided excellent service, and had the whole place entertained at one point. I got a kolache, which was fun and I loved the candied jalapeños. They have weekly themed donuts, and I got a King Cake donut, which I enjoyed more than typically appropriate in a public setting. Josie made a breakfast sandwich that was hands-down the best I’ve ever tried. We actually have mixed feelings because they’ve ruined us for other breakfast foods, and we don’t live close. 100% going back to District Donuts at the first opportunity!

After reading the reviews I was skeptical to try this place, but my experience was delightful. The staff who took my order were polite and attentive, and made sure I got what I ordered (checked on me while I was waiting, even asked if i wanted water while I waited). My sliders (fried chicken and cheeseburger) were very good and the waffle fries complimented it well, with the waffle fries being nice and crispy and (imo) better than Chick-Fil-A’s. The donut I got was the wedding cake, and while I didn’t like it that much, my parents loved it. Would definitely come again if I come back to NOLA again.

Wow, New Orleans truly has more to offer than just the French Quarter. I don’t even like donut that much but I decided to try and wow, Love them! The donut does not taste oily like other stores’. We actually came back twice within two days timeframe to get more. The Mexican Chocolate, Sangaia, Brown Sugar Cake Donut, Lemon Blueberry and Pork Belly Kolaches were good. Why they don’t get my 5th star? The server boldly asked for more tip from us. I would come back for the food though

Really great ambience in the dining room with the music and lighting. Food was amazing. Coffee was good. They do put too much ice in their Vietnamese coffee. Plus staff does not really acknowledge you when you walk in (they don't say hi, good morning) and there is no sign saying seat yourself or order here. So, you kind of have to figure it out or ask someone. So, someone should be directing newcomers.

I’d never heard of this place before but on our walk on Magazine Street you can definitely smell the sensational aroma coming from the building. Ok yes they have donuts that are okay. BUT SCREW THE DONUTS. Get one of their biscuit sandwiches, holy heck. I got the fried chicken one, which was absolutely gas. The hot chicken and honey butter French toast biscuit is the greatest biscuit in the world! I also got the bacon and maple glazed donut which I should have had them warmed up but it was still fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and prompt. What a fun find! Our of the way of most things, but worth every penny. The price is unbeatable and the food delicious. We want to eat here for every meal! The Monte Cristo sandwich was excellent and the sliders ended up being surprisingly filling and extra good chicken. The donuts were also a great touch.

If your going to try I definitely recommend eating on location. We did a phone order for pick-up. We haven't been there before so asked for 2 donut recommendations with chocolate. We were given a banana peanut butter chocolate one and a chocolate raspberry one. We also ordered the cheeseburger sliders, and waffle fries with cheese sauce plus a coffee. The sliders were small but good, and the waffle fries with cheese was probable our favorite part. The donuts, however, were not as we had hoped. The dough was good and they were huge but we should of gone in and looked at the flavors. We did not care for them at all and actually threw them away. I would go back and give them another shot because the rest of the meal was great, and with a different donut choice maybe they would be better. Overall neat place and reasonable coffee house food.

I have a new favorite donut spot when I go home. The donuts are original and awesome. This is a must see! New Orleans is synonymous for the best food and District Donuts is a perfect addition to the city. Growing up we had the best bakeries and pastry shops but most are gone after the storm. District Donuts brings back some of what we lost. Lastly, the prices aren't bad either.

I tried this place this morning after hearing good things about it, and overall I really did enjoy eating here. I ordered the Fried Chicken Biscuit and 2 donuts, The Glazed and The Brown Butter Drop. I wasn't particularly blown away by the donuts, I thought they were just okay. The glazed donut didn't taste all that special and I thought the Brown Butter Drop donut was okay too, I didn't like how that one tasted crispy instead of soft like most cake donuts. The clear highlight for me was that Fried Chicken Biscuit! It was SOOO good. The skin was nice and crispy and the meat was moist. Also the biscuit (honey butter french toast) worked well with the fried chicken. Before coming here, I wasn't too sure how good their hot food would be since this is a donut shop, but was pleasantly surprised! This place is a must try.

Great place to try when in New Orleans. Very friendly staff, fun atmosphere and the food was great. We tried the biscuits and a kolaches and were not disappointed in either. Portions were huge, you don' t go away hungry. Loved their house soda. I've never tried anything like that and it was absolutely delicious. Oh yea, the donuts are fantastic.

Food was good, nothing bad to say but nothing remarkable. We had beef sliders, a fried chicken sandwich and an order if fries. Food is ordered at the cashier stage and when ready your name is called for pick up. Wait was not long. The bathrooms weren't real clean and the ladies room didn't flush right, but I found this to be common in New Orleans. The donuts looked amazing, but we didn't try them :(.

Close quartered but very comfy, tried the cinnamon roll and lemon blueberry, both were absolutely fantastic. Two members of my party tried the breakfast bowls and absolutely loved them! Prices were fair based off of quantity and quality, will highly recommend to friends,family and strangers alike! And will definitely be back!

This was a treat. A great spin on the donut. We ordered the banana fosters and it was an experience. Cost was $3.50, worth the money. We also tried 3 of their burger sliders and we added egg to it, my son loved it. You were able to buy 3 for $10. I would go back for sure.

Okay, this place is at the top of my list when it comes to coffee! I had an iced vanilla latte and I could immediately tell they made their syrup from scratch. It was delicious and I drank it way too fast. I also noticed that they weigh their espresso shots which I appreciate. But lemme just tell you about the donuts. They are huge and also frickin good as heck. I had the Nutty Buddy. So good man. So good. Definitely go here if you’re in the area. PS. Me and my friends heard the staff talking about Flavor Town and we immediately knew we belonged there because we had been talking about Favor Town all week. So 10/10 would recommend.

Came back in town for a Tulane football game and stumbled upon this new place for breakfast. Absolutely delicious. They make the best donut I've ever eaten, and the iced coffee is top notch (and served out of a beer tap!). The atmosphere is very appealing as well, and the owner is accommodating and friendly. We will make this a game-day breakfast tradition. Highly Recommended!!!!

The chicken biscuit might be one of the best things I have ever consumed in my entire life. It was so good I went and bought another. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also incredible. It’s a shame I only got to go here once during my vacation.

I got two glazed donuts and a fried chicken sandwich. I did travel home so the food did sit for 15 mins. The donuts were thick and heavy with minimal glaze. By the time I got to the sandwich it wasn’t in great condition as the bottom bun was soggy and breaking apart, as well as the crust/ skin of the chicken. Real friendly and helpful crew here. Would like to return to try other donuts.

This place is definitely worth a try. You can fill up with quality food at a good price. The chicken slider has a great flavor while the pork belly slider had my heart at micro radish sprouts. The doughnuts were a little dense and consequently the proportion of sweetness was off from what I expect from a doughnut. All together it was a great experience and I will be back.

The hamburgers are the best I have tasted in my while life. They are so tender. it feels like they're melting in your mouth. Also the fries are good too but best of all they have the most wonderful gourmet doughnuts in Louisiana so would definitely recommend. Can't wait to visit again! Only downside is it's a little pricey but worth every penny in my opinion.

OMG...this place is amazing! My husband and I visited while in New Orleans..I wish I could go back right now! Cool place, delicious fresh donuts that are unique and amazing breakfast sandwiches! I had a delicious stuffed sweet roll that had eggs, cheese and bacon inside. So tender and yummy! It was a great place to stop while visiting the Garden District and it didn't feel like it was full of tourists at all.

They have a great standard menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The doughnut selection changes from week to week, but it's always good. Happy to see the king cake doughnuts this year, but sad the muses doughnut didn't make a return. Maybe next year? Burgers and sliders are great and they have waffle fries, always a good thing.

Best donuts...maybe anywhere. Several unique flavors change weekly plus five ubiquitous standards: glazed, chocolate glazed, cinnamon sugar, chocolate glazed chocolate, and their cinnamon roll. I come home a couple times each year and they always have something new. This time I had the slider special, which was pulled pork topped with an onion rings and it was so good. I've also had the pork belly slider with a pickled slaw that was equally yummy. Tried the cinnamon roll and, y'all, they brulee the icing before serving it to you. It's more like a brioche and not as sweet, which I loved. Looking forward to my next visit.

I went with some friends twice over the weekend, we split 8 different donuts and I can say that each of them was super delicious. The quality of these donuts, the flavor the fillings, all is perfect. Their coffee is great as well. Perfect match. Go out of your way to try it at least once.

Best donuts I've ever had! The donut sandwiches are brilliant, just a touch of sweetness, not too much. Nice staff but be warned the lines can be extremely long. They work fast to get you your fix as soon as possible. The pork belly slider is amazing!

Not bad just expensive. Food is good and you can see why it's a little pricey for the slaw and buns, high quality ingredients. That's where it ends. Chx was a little dry, for the price. For a kids size coffee, just ice coffee nothing special 3.75. Honestly I would have paid more if I would have known it was going to be a child size but I guess that last part is on me. If you like statbucks this place is for you, if you like dunkin, this place is going to make you sweat.

Really inventive flavors of doughnuts, but the underlying pastry isn't always awesome. The cinnamon rolls and "brown butter" drops are consistently amazing though. Sliders and fries are good but not amazing. Coffee is good, but sometimes strange - "cold brew" is often not cold for example? It's solid, and an attractive place, but appearances kind of often outperform the flavors at District.

The breakfast bowl was good overall but difficult to eat in the oversized steel bowl in which it was served. The bananas foster donut was flavorful and really represented the dish after which it was named well. The cold brew didn't need any cream or sugar--sweet and mellow as it was. We also got the Vietnamese iced coffee, which was sweet and creamy as it should be. As a first time visitor it was difficult to figure out where the water was located and where to bus my table.

Location and staff are ideal! However the donuts are sub-par. I think they are as popular as they are because they are very attractive looking and people post them on social media. They taste more like a bread roll than a donut. If you want a fried, traditional donut, this isn't the place to get it. The flavors are nice, but I would not pay that much for what it is. However, the sliders are very good as well as their coffee!

Must stop here while visiting the garden district. My wife and I were walking around in amazement of the beautiful gigantic houses, and developed a bit of an appetite. Found this place on Maps, and couldn't resist! Amazing sliders! We got the cheese burger and pork belly, and it was heaven in my mouth! We also got a pumpkin spice donut, and were delighted by the fluffy donut and great pumpkin spice flavor. Great spot for a break while sightseeing!

New Orleans is pack with great places to eat and you can add District to list. The sliders a delicious and the ingredients are premium, this isn't Krystal burger's thin patties. Chicken and beef sliders, great coffee and old school donuts all made with care. They can be inconsistent but they've never hesitated to make things right.

I'm by far not a donut person. My friends took me here and I have to say I'm impressed. Not only by the menu but also the setup and quality of the place. The prices were great and so was the speed of my food getting done. I got the cheeseburger slider and the cheese fries with sweet jalapeño. They were on point not to mention the wedding cake donuts my friend let me try. I recommend to anyone of all shapes and sizes.

Really wanted to visit this place during breakfast hours for the chicken biscuit or burrito, but instead had the chicken slider and donuts. The flavor of the chicken and slaw great, but I really enjoyed the blueberry cheesecake donut. The donuts are big and really bready(not a real word but I'm using it), however you still taste the flavor.

I heard from Jeanne that this place has excellent everything except the waffle fries. She said the waffle fries were nothing special. I don't know about that. I didn't have them. I liked their exit signs. They told me where the exits were, but did not obstruct any views. They were very pleasant exit signs.
