Stopped in for a drink, a chat, a mood… The place is bright and energetic and pretty. Our drinks were lovely, we got the “Mule in heat”, which was a mule with peppercorn and bay leaf syrup and so on. Our first impression of service was a little skewed; I think we got our bartender on a bad day. The lady who picked up where she left off was wonderful and funny and helpful and we never felt rushed. I like this place and I can’t speak for their food but I plan to return and watch people walk by while I drink yummy drinks. Thanks!
Edit: We came back for the food the next evening after looking at the menu. The menu content looks gorgeous, had to try it… It was a complete let down, it’s comical really. The food sounded like what could be just the local creole southern New Orleans cuisine we’d been striking out on the entire time and it came out like frozen dinners. Truly disappoint, withered, two dimensional, frozen shrimp, runny duck soup, NO crab in the crab cake, a bread cake folks, entirely and notably underwhelming. I will say it over and over, I’d your job is food; it’s your only job! All you have to do is make good food. This fell so short of that which we find more and more often these days.

Came here with my spouse and I for an afternoon drink and snack and was not disappointed. We were visiting NO and wanted to experience all the cocktail scenery while in town.
Friendly staff and quick service. I genuinely enjoyed the blue crab salad appetizer. It’s a cold and shareable dish, perfect for the day where we experience a scorching hot 35 degree celsius weather!
We tried six different cocktails here, safe to say, Curio knows their cocktails as all of them tasted amazing. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a patio with a nice view of the French Quarters!

I wanted to love this place! The food was just ok. For the fried green tomatoes it almost seems like they thought putting tons of remoulade sauce on it would mask the fact that it was missing other flavors. The chicken and waffles we just as you expect. I think I thought the chicken would have more Nola spice to it. The crab cakes were good, and full of flavor. The service was nice!y only complaint is I feel you don’t get the most of the bottomless mimosas unless you are sitting by the bar since it took so long off then to get us refills. I’d definitely give this place another shot to try other things.

Our first time at Curio was an enjoyable experience. Seating was fairly quick, staff was friendly and knowledgeable along with delicious food made for an awesome late lunch. Food consisted of a bun less burger and side salad, grilled chicken salad, spinach & artichoke dip with grilled sourdough toast, and jalapeño hush puppies. The dip was piping hot and hush puppies were delicious. We sat near a window so people watching was fun. Our waitperson was very friendly and helpful.

This is a cute little spot. The food was fantastic. The drinks were great. I had the salmon and it was to die for. Loved the Voodoo drink. Very cool mixing it at the table with the he colours changing. Service was great. Everyone was so nice and they were great in recommending drinks and food.

Stopped here for brunch after a long night of drinking. Service is impeccable. The food was fresh and drinks were strong. They have some great creole options. Apparently they have got an award for best place to work 6 years running. You can tell the employees enjoy it there. I was so hungover I couldn't eat much but it was delicious. I'll be back for dinner. Thank you.

quality food, drinks and ambience. cleanest bathrooms on royal street that i’ve been in so far. i appreciate their investment in art and a clean establishment. this is one of the best food / drink menu restaurant that is owned by the creole cuisine franchise, and it’s obvious that they prioritize this place over the others; the employees actually look like their enjoying working for them.
handicap accessible.
good luck with parking.

The place was cute, the drinks were REALLY good. I'm fairly certain they were under staffed.. so the service wasn't great. The food was just ok, my turkey panini was super salty. But the pesto sandwich was really good. So maybe it was just an off thing.

WOULD RECOMMEND:
Went to Curio for my birthday diner while in New Orleans! First off, they greeted us at the door with such high vibe energy, authentic and warm! I had explained we were early nearly 30 min and they said it wouldn’t be a problem they had the space and seated us immediately. Rochelle our waitress was efficient and thorough. She gave recommendations which were spot on! The feel of the restaurant is a classy casual. Tables were spaced perfectly and the decor of the place is calming and has a Louisiana historical feel. Loved it and would recommend!

Went to Curio for my birthday brunch and had a fantastic time. Make sure you take advantage of the bottomless mimosas. They are heavy handed with the champagne and keep them coming without having to ask. I had the shrimp po’boy which was LOADED with huge crispy and tender prawns. I had to remove more than half of the shrimp to close the sandwich. If you are familiar with potato salad, it passes the test for a true southern side dish. Make sure to order the crab cakes as they are all meat and no filler. SO GOOD! The decor is unique and picture worthy. My server was so nice and made my experience enjoyable. I can’t wait to return!
