Cafe Normandie’s atmosphere is really beautiful! This resort just opened recently so it was not crowded at all, which gave us a nice, quiet dinner. I’m giving this a 4 star review because some of the rice in our gumbo was hard. We politely told our server, who immediately told the cooks, and we heard them say they were cooking a whole new batch. Other than that our food was delicious! I’ve never had mirliton dressing out anywhere (except for my mother’s at home) and it was so good! My husband even loved it and he usually doesn’t eat shrimp! Our server, Garyelle, was very sweet and helpful. Love this unique addition to New Orleans honoring the WWII era! We look forward to returning in the future!

Theres a convienence store inside this hotel that has pre-prepared meals, cofee and tea. They also have normal hotel gift shop items one might need on short trips. The prices arent all that bad either. This store I believe is named after Normandy, Frwnce. This store is close to the WWII musewm in downtown NO

I don't know why these reviews are so low, but in my family's opinion it was one of the best breakfasts we had in New Orleans. The grits were so tasty we ordered a second serving.

Pleasant and joyful staff, lunch was so good, and the smoked chicken sausage gumbo is big enough to share but you might not want to.

Some great breakfast pastries as well as an experienced barista completely surprised me
Thank you folks

Beautiful restaurant that is located on the main floor of the Higgins Hotel. Highly recommend the Kilroy’s Burger - very tasty!
Cheers, y’all. ⚜️

I had a great breakfast two days in a row here. It is not really clear, but you do have to check in with the host to be seated. It is really pretty in here, and the seats are extremely comfortable. I had excellent service both days for breakfast, and again the next day for lunch. During lunch, it was very cold in there, but that is the only complaint I had about this restaurant. The portions were very hardy and well worth the price. Coffee was the perfect temperature and the serving of orange juice was quite large. I very much enjoyed the ham as a breakfast meat option. I had the eggs poached on the first day, And the vinegar was a little heavy. but I had them over easy this second day and they were excellent!
