Reviews of Broussard's Restaurant & Courtyard
Mark Arveson
Everything down to the most miniscule detail was absolutely perfect. Our servers were amazing, and took care of us in a way I have rarely been taken care of. It was our final stop of a vacation I've waited for for most of my life. In addition to being our final stop it was probably the best. Not only would I recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans, I would recommend it as a trip in and of itself. Thank you so much to all the staff who made the experience amazing I'll never forget it, Thank You So Very Much!

I eat here every single time I visit in New Orleans. It is my favorite brunch place that I have ever been to anywhere and I will always Recommend this place to friends and family who are visiting in New Orleans. The prefix brunch menu is absolutely the way to go as this allows you to try multiple items from their menu all of which are amazing. The crab quiche and gumbo are to die for, and the service is always amazing! Don’t forget to order your bottomless mimosas because they give you a to go cup full of mimosa on your way out!

Stopped by for brunch. Prix fixed brunch was delicious.. tried the quiche and salad. The fried green appetizer was just ok. They had bottomless mimosas that we didn't try but other tables were enjoying ;) The coffee was not hot (I like mine hot).

What can I say, if telling you all 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed brunch for a few hours filled with MANY cocktails, a three piece band that came to woo us, the wait staff who truly cared about any and all guests. So clean and gracious. Celebrated our friends bachelorette the BEST way possible here. Would ABSOLUTELY come back for more. The brandy milk punch is to die for. Appetizers were so incredibly thought out and executed perfectly. Wish the breading for the chicken on the waffles stuck a bit better and was a bit more crunchy. All in all top 5 places in NOLA for me to come back to.

Delectable pork belly MM! Would come back for that. Also had the smoked duck leg. Both of these are their signature dishes - if signature dishes mean lots of sour and bitter sauces, then they nailed it. I personally was not a fan of how acidic the sauces were. It made for the duck to be difficult to eat.
Otherwise, a great area and beautiful courtyard dining area. They don’t ask if you want to dine inside or outside, so let them know if you want to dine outside.

Lighting is dim so I didn't want to use flash for my pics sorry for that 🤣🤣 Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and were very kind. This is more of a formal restaurant and we were so dressed like tourists, we thought this would negatively affect our visit but it didn't. The staff made us feel at home and gave us such delicious food and drinks. Every bite is like biting into a slice of heaven. I am so happy we stopped here. Thank you staff for your amazing service!!
Christian Garris
Great spot for brunch, spacious formal dining area, excellent formal service. The only downside is that it is a little expensive, but it is not a bad value.
The staff will go out of their way to accommodate and requests you might have.
Carrie Vail
The service at Broussard's was too good for the bottomless Rose. I don't think my glass was ever half empty 😳 Our brunch was delicious. We couldn't decide between appetizers so we split 3, and I'm so glad we did. All the food was amazing.
Desiree Bodin Banegas
The staff was friendly, and the food excellent, although the portions are somewhat small for the price. I wasn't happy that I was charged for a dessert that was brought to my child without us asking for it. Ask if I want to order something if it is not complementary. All and all it was a nice experience, and I will return.

Great NOLA experience! Food was delicious. Staff was warm and welcoming. The live music was awesome and even came to our table and took suggestions. Highly recommend!
Sarah Wegman
We had a big area in one of the back rooms for a group of 18 for brunch. The band was so much fun and serenaded us. It was great that not everyone had to do bottomless drinks if they didn't want to. Food was delicious, and they were easy to work with in setting everything up, giving us flexible options if we wanted to order off the menu or plan ahead with private dining setup. We chose to order off the menu and it went great. Highly recommend!
Francis Washington
The service was great, and the drinks were too. Steak was very favorable. Steak was a little thin so be careful with how you ask for it to be cooked.
The Josephine Benedict was very good but eat slowly it's not a lot of food.

Our experience at Broussard’s was as elegant and elevated as a dinner on titanic. Chandeliers, pastel colored walls, and plenty of champagne. It’s amazing how they can make you feel like you’ve been transported back in time to get a taste of what fine dining in New Orleans would have been like in the early 1920’s.
We decided to start off with ordering the bottomless mimosas. They were very strong but worth it! Unfortunately since they were strong for some, two people opted to just have one mimosa. Our waitress did not update our bill to reflect that.
I ordered the steak and eggs which was absolutely amazing. I really loved the amount of seasoning! The cook was spot on, the perfect medium rare. I highly recommend this dish for steak lovers.
The Napoleon Benedict that was ordered was also very good! The hollandaise sauce was so flavorful.
We really liked the kick in the chicken and waffle dish! The chicken was fried well and still very juicy on the inside.
The best part of the whole brunch experience was that there was a jazz band! Nothing beats a good jazz performance and they really outdid themselves! I would visit again and next time it would be for dinner.
Lindsay Marie
Broussards is incredibly romantic and a wonderful fine dining experience. Our waiters were fantastic. The food was delicious. I would recommend going to Broussards. We had the turtle soup, the filet mignon, bronzed red fish, and the bread pudding. Everything was perfect.
Samantha Player
The ambience, food, and service was definitely 10 out of 10. We had a chance to meet Tio the manager. He made our dining experience personable. Our servers knew the menu well. We ordered bottomless mimosas, the Strawberry Praline Pain Perdue, and the Southern Fried Chicken & Waffles. Our food and drinks were simply amazing! We also was able to enjoy live jazz music.
Tristen Collins
What a fun, classic New Orleans brunch! We sat in the courtyard, highly recommend if the weather is nice. Bottomless mimosas were in fact bottomless. Our waitress made sure we never had an empty glass. Coffee was delicious too! Our entrees were scrumptious and it was truly a pleasant way to spend the morning. Service was above and beyond!
Marko
Good place for some more upscale Cajun food. The service was very nice and the food was good. The flambé desserts are also quite a show - we had the banana foster (leave some space for that, it's worth the show).
Paul Bobo
Perfectly fine, nothing to get excited about.
Food was nice enough, lots of very loud Americans screaming all of the time.
Service was excellent.
The empire bar inside Broussard's is much much nicer and highly recommended
Aman Deep
Great experience. Great wine selection and cocktails. We loved everything from drinks, apps, dinner and dessert. I had the bronzed fish which was phenomenal, also tried the filet mignon which was exceptional. The choice of dessert was great. They made the caramelized banana pudding at our table live … great for operational transparency!!! The live production enhanced the smell, flavor and ambiance. Loved it!!!
Jessica Wilder
Had a really lovely Saturday brunch here this weekend. They had a jazz band that went table to table, which made it feel very special. Food was really amazing- I loved the pain Perdu! It really was a highlight of our trip!
Twin Mom Diana
Super cool New Orleans brunch. A three man trio who play some jazz for ambiance during brunch. Bottomless mimosas are where it’s at.
Highly recommend.
Scott Williams
All around great experience. The staff was very friendly and pleasantly confident. The food was outstanding. It was perfect.
Jessica Lukey
Came here as a last minute brunch/lunch and we're not aware of having to reserve a table, even though there were plenty ready for people who were showing up half an hour or an hour later. We got seated at the bar where we had two nice bartenders serve us. My sister got an omelette and myself a cheeseburger. The burger was huge, juicy (med rare) and delicious. Her omelette didn't have much if any crawfish, but lots of mushroom, so she didn't finish it. We thought we'd have to be dressed very nice, but for lunch/brunch nobody was, which was odd considering the decor. When it comes directly to what I ate and the service, I would say to go and order their cheese burger if you want something that's not seafood.
Toccara C
Very beautiful restaurant, great customer service and the food is amazing. Highly recommend anyone visiting New Orleans dine at this restaurant during your visit. The live band during brunch was a plus as well.
Kia
I am kin to the Broussard and this restaurant exceeded my expectations! The food was good, the ambiance was beautiful, live band was a nice touch as well. Really enjoyed the southern hospitality
Jason Dixon
Good food in a beautiful setting. We had Thanksgiving here and were pleased with our choice. Our kids weren't as receptive. Maybe not the best place for picky eaters or children who are not willing to try New foods.
Kim Boland
What a wonderful ending to our time in New Orleans. The staff was warm and professional. Their food was outstanding! Including a picture of the bread pudding. Yum!
Arionna Stanley
Initially we were a bit upset because we had reservations for brunch and it took a half hour to sit our party. But the amazing servers and food made up for it. The brunch menu was so amazing. I loved my steak and eggs it was just the best. The appetizers all of them were amazing and that French toast makes me want to return just for another meal. Definitely get the bottomless the server def did a great job keeping the champagne poured to the top. Just have to learn to tilt the glass when pouring.
Julie Ann Williams
Excellent. Delicious food and beautifully presented, appealing atmosphere, and clean premises, helpful staff, and brilliant service.
Erik Banki
Great place for brunch! Went here and had the Blackened Fish of the day; cooked to perfection, seasoned beautifully, and didn't make my stomach hurt from all the black pepper! The rest of family had said that their dishes were great and from my taste tests, they definitely were. The service was great and loved the brunch jazz. WILL come again!
Sc Ford
This place was good. Gorgeous interior, very cute brunch spot. Food is ok, could be better for the price. Our server seemed to be overworked and had a negative attitude masked with strained politeness, but the manager was AMAZING. He stepped in and met our requests and answered all questions, he was great.
Bob McEowen
Food was fine, but the service did not match the price or pretentiousness of the place. Waiter(s) might as well been working at a burger joint. Hardly any attempt to check on us. Had to track down a waitress to get a second glass of wine. No attempt to suggest dessert. Eventually had to ask the woman clearing dishes for our bill. When you go to s restaurant of this reputation you expect an experience. They missed the msrk by a mile.
Tracey Munn
Such a beautiful restaurant, the epitome of fine dining.
The service was impeccable, and the food absolutely wonderful.
My husband had the pork and I had Louisiana Blue Crab cake and Filet Mignon. Perfection.
So happy we visited, made our stay even more memorable. Thank you.
Nat Turner
Great jazz brunch. I ordered the Prix Fixe with duck and alligator sausage gumbo and the Peach Pain Perdu. Also tried the Brandy Milk Punch at the server's recommendation and liked it. The jazz trio walked the floor and played special requests for each table the day we went.
Laurie Wildt
Our family was visiting from Texas and we reserved 3 weeks in advance. We enjoyed the fixed price 4 course dinner that was inspired by satsuma mandarin oranges. The pumpkin soup with orangey goat cheese crouton was delicious and memorable! Others in the party enjoyed pork chops and redfish. I loved the formal dining room with table cloths and Christmas decor. The restaurant is over a 100 years old. It has a unique vibe like you're a welcomed guest in an old mansion.
ashley hamilton
Absolutely the best place on Nola to eat for a laid back wonderful dinner or for brunch. Ashley, Jonathan, Stephen, and Megan are the best servers and will not leave you wanting for anything. 10/10 will be back.
Gregg Slate
Absolutely the best Jazz brunch in NOLA. Loved the chicken and waffles as well as the music. Our servers were amazing and truly possessed great knowledge of the menu. We will be back.
D. James Courtney
This is a "must go" place for a beautiful evening out. Absolutely gorgeous, and the cuisine was magnificent! The wait time was a bit longer than expected. But they more than made up for it with table service, so please don't let the 4 stars on service discourage you. It is worth it.
Reese Jones
We have been here several times for brunch, but this was a first for dinner. It was superb. I will admit the corn soup was a little bland but the shrimp, fried green tomatoes, filet, mashed potatoes and drinks were top notch!
Phil Rodriguez
Went here for brunch and tried the turtle soup and it was really good! The chicken and waffles were not as great and the sauce/syrup didn’t do it any justice. The bottomless mimosas were kept on a rotation.
Mariela Gonzales
Our friends recommended this place over the weekend and I really enjoyed the food. However, a certain rude bartender (gray hair) who seemed to only have an attitude with me (the only POC at the table) made my experience a little awkward. We were ready to place our drink and food order hoping it would make things easier for him. When I suggested that we place our food order,he sternly replied “I will first place your drink order and then get your food order”. I think the last time I was talked to that way I was about 6 years old. Anyway, there’s was also a bit of confusion when I asked if I could replace the greens for a non-pork option. Still grateful for my friends who made my experience a little more memorable.

Have been there on New year eve, the staff was awesome, ambience was good and the food was amazing. Being a vegetarian I was skeptical for food but my server told me that she will ask the chef to prepare something, so she got vegetarian pasta for me and I would say it was the best. Also my husband and his friends ordered seafood which they told was amazing too. If you are looking for a fine dining restaurant, I would say it’s a go to place
Joann Payne
Perfect Anniversary dinner from beginning to end! Hostess was very welcoming. Service was perfect and food was wonderful! They even gave us a complimentary Amuse Bouche for our Anniversary! The presentation of the Cafe Brulot Diabolique was great! The jazz band even sang a special song for us.
Luke Brady
Phenomenal service. We brought a dog and management was kind enough to serve us in the courtyard although they weren't doing outdoor dining. Great food, great drinks, reasonably priced, and the service was excellent!
Minh Huynh
Great restaurant. The price was very fair and portions were really generous. Probably the best pork chop I've ever had.
Rayanna Allen
The food is amazing. They have live music customer service is on point they need a 10 star. I had a great experience this was my first time in Louisiana and I will go here a thousand more times. And the fact that I do not eat pork they still have options that I can eat!!!
Phil Landis
So this is definitely the place you want to go for beautiful indoor / ourdoor atmosphere! Very professional hard working staff, and great bartenders. The specialty drinks are spot on. The "MR.BIG BLUES" cocktail is highly recommended by my wife. She says "ladies, you will love it." If your looking for an upscale bar with fresh ingredients this place is for you..
So, about the food, neither one of us cared for the "chicken alligator sausage gumbo starter." The flavor was absolutely fine, there just wasn't much in it, really brothy. The starters /apps are portioned small for the price, but tasty. The crawfish tails were very good. My wife had the eggs benedict and liked it alot. After evaluating all the delicious choices I finally settle on the "Broussard's Burger" and I am so glad I did. If you love a tender n juicy burger with all the timmings, and BACON, then this burger is for you. The burger came with carmelized onions, tomato jam all melted together with cheese in a fabulous deliciousness that you really have to experience for yourself to appreciate! (The bacon jam was off the hook good)! I would get that again. Anyway, bring a friend and come check this place out. Come causual or dress to impress. You'll be glad you did.

Jamal and Eddie were the best! Outstanding brunch, mimosas never got close to empty. The benedicts were killer, as was the Cherry Pain Perdu. Don't miss the cornbread...not usually a fan but they have it 100% dialed in. Next trip to the Easy, we'll be back.
J.G.
Mocktails were heavy on the sugar.
Food was served timely and tasted fresh.
Server:
They have an interesting system, with a "captain", a Main, and a walker.
In theory could be helpful, however we were often left with empty glasses or unanswered questions and were unsure who did what.
But all were very pleasent!
Cleanliness/environment
Courtyard was quiet and well lit - very much a soothing and calm atmosphere.
Gregg Rousselle
Celebrated a friend's 25 anniversary and had a great time and a great meal. The oyster/bacon appetizer was incredible. Unfortunately I did not get a picture of it. Ask for Lionel, he will take care of you.
Danielle Barger
Overall we had lovely service and delicious food at our Saturday brunch. We made a reservation for the courtyard but upon arrival, requested a table inside because of the heat. No problem at all. We had 3 servers attending to us, constantly keeping coffee fresh, mimosas topped off, and ready to answer questions at any moment. The band sang to each table and they were wonderful.
Cons:
-the turtle soup was uninteresting
-Our drinks/dessert server hadn’t tasted many of the dishes I asked him about
-bathroom was a little small
Pros:
-all our other food was excellent
-very attentive service
-Kenny<—— best part of my day
-free birthday dessert
-bottomless mimosa
-overall wonderful experience
michael nason
First time visiting. Food was great, the pork chop was monstrous and delicious. The service by Lionel was great. Only disappointment was we couldn't sit in the courtyard because of a wedding.
Ashley Tindall
Broussard's is the best dining in the French Quarter. Hands down. The food is second to none. We have enjoyed dining here each time we are in The Big Easy. Tonight, our server, Alyssia, was amazing. She even served us complimentary champagne and dessert when she found out it was our anniversary. We will be back next time we visit. Thank you for having so much class & the best chef in the south!! Congrats on 100 years, here's to the next 100!
Kaila Gunn
We barley made it to our reservation time due to the Mardi Gras traffic but the staff at Broussard's still sat us at a table and allowed us to grab a drink at the bar before we sat. We ordered the filet mignon and a bottle of wine. Steaks came out cooked to wrong temp on the first try but they were happy to refire them for us and the second time around they came out absolutely perfect. Staff was so friendly and accommodating and the restaurant was beautiful. Also had creme brulee and pecan pie for dessert. Pecan pie was delicious! Really happy with this choice for dinner and will definitely visit again next time I'm in New Orleans.
Pete Hicks
Pork chop was cooked to perfection. Didn't quite get the strawberry bbq sauce idea. Not a great flavor combination. The Crawfish fried green tomato was incredible. Bread pudding was just ok.. wait staff was a little off at times. Ribeye steak was good. Turtle soup was nice. Duck was ok
Shannon Morris
Broussard's has my heart. I may be biased since I had my wedding in their courtyard but we go back everytime we are in town and it's never disappointed us. We picked Broussard's for our wedding because of the great experiecne we had during multiple jazz brunches. The classic decor is welcoming and not too pretenious. The food is a mix of modern takes on classic cajun cousines and chef specials. The bottomless mimosas during jazz brunch is a boozy delight to start you NOLA mornings. The local jazz band is always entertaining and cheerful. I'll leave this review for just the brunch and overall experience as the wedding was the best day ever and I could write a whole separate review for that.
john fields
Dined there yesterday. Service was poor with unfriendly wait staff. Some of us had redfish which was excellent.
I had turtle soup which was very good, and bar b q shrimp and grits which were forgettable Ambiance was fair. Whole experience diminished by unfriendly wait staff. Plenty of better places. to eat in the qtr.
Pavel Hardak
Great location with majestic atmosphere. Some dishes were fabulous (soup and pork), some so so (duck, salad). Service was great. Music was just right, blocking other folks voices, but not too loud. Really good experience.
Small suggestions to management for improvement:
Get higher quality small breads and consider warming it when served.
When suggesting water, mention it costs seven bucks per bottle. We asked sparkling and plain water, so paid fourteen dollars. Not very expensive , but I like to know it upfront.
No real need to have a separate waiter just for water and wine. We did not order wine this time, so it was not efficient.

I was was really excited to give Broussard's a try as I had seen so many great reviews. I must 1st say that I was HIGHLY impressed with the highly attentiveness of staff. I couldn't believe how amazing the service was even along with the hostess that was on duty. Everyone not only played their job role well but they assisted others as well and you could see they were ensuring that the guests were having the best dining experience
As far as the food, I started off with the spicy popcorn shrimp and the spinach & artichoke dip and I was slightly impressed, mainly with the shrimp. Good flavor for sure. As far as the 2nd course, I ordered the Rosemary & Balsamic Glazewood Pork Tenderloin that came with a side of bacon potato salad, and kale &almond slaw .
Ordered the 3rd course and got the creole Louisiana long grain rice calas.
The photos are as the food was brought to the table before being touched
All in all I was happy with the staff, the amazing array of the historic building of Broussard's Restaurant & Courtyard .
Michael Rego
Sunday brunch was fabulous! Reddish with crabmeat is the bomb! Oysters Broussard with Applewood smoked bacon were outstanding! My wife had a crawfish omelet that was great. Live music for brunch was fabulous. Also the setting is pretty cool. Indoor or courtyard dining are both available.
Bobby Montgomery
Can’t say enough good things about our experience. I wrote a lot more and have more pictures on Instagram @Bobbymontg
The service was exceptional and the oysters with pork belly was delicious.
Andrew Roan
The crab cakes here were so good! Tempted to order multiple next time. We had to wait at the bar shortly before our table was ready, otherwise great service.
Michael Wu
Went during the last day of August COOLinary month. $19.20 for their 1920 prix fixe menu + special list of $19.20 bottles of wine. Very great southern atmosphere with matching southern hospitality. You can’t go wrong with the garlic crab claws!!
Anthony Cunnings
We had a chance to stop by for their jazz brunch and it was awesome! They had a jazz trio that floated around the restaurant so everyone could enjoy. We had the bottomless mimosas which is always a hit. The shrimp omlet was outstanding. Chicken and waffles were pretty good. You must order the after meal Cafe Brulot Diabolique (coffee brewed table side with Brandy, flaming orange, cinnamon, lemon peel and cloves). Truly amazing and the highlight of a great meal.
Okiema Singleton
Meals we very light, as far as portion sizes, and I had to add a lot of salt to my meal. The appetizer was delicious, fried oysters with bacon.
Michele Bourg
Broussards was absolutely amazing. Lindsey, Thanks for the best service ever! Thanks, Ms. Rebecca, for the most kind words about my daughter! The food was delicious!
Regina Bright
Lovely atmosphere and staff.
Our food and service were excellent!
Paul, our bartender was a lot of fun 😊
Gary Griffith
Since we were in New Orleans we decided to have our Thanksgiving dinner here. We were seated immediately on arrival. Our waiter, Lionel, was attentive as could be. We ordered the Prix Fixe meals, and each course arrived precisely when it should have. The food was delicious. Kudos on a holiday well executed.
Don Johnson
This place was excellent. The atmosphere, staff and even the band all contribute to a wonderful experience. JoJuan and Carl took good care of us for our honeymoon brunch. The food is the star of the show, it was wonderful will definitely come here again.
Michelle S
This place was nice. We had a 12:30 reservation , got there at 12 and they had a table ready in about 5 min on a Sunday. It has a very classic southern feel. The food was so good, a little pricy but the experience is worth the price. They have a live music group that plays jazz and goes around the restaurant.
Service was amazing! Specifically our two servers Sterling & Don. They provided amazing service!! Sterling never left my mimosa glass empty for more than 2 minutes lol!
5/5 recommend!
Lesley Powell
Fitted us in whilst Lundi gras. Nice food, good service, really loving the bottomless drinks 😂
James and Ashleigh our servers were lovely.
Super atmosphere and location.
We'll return if ever back in NOLA.
Ron Wong
This is a fantastic spot for brunch. $14 bottomless mimosas, you can't beat that. The food and service was great as well. I had the chicken and waffles and was better than Roscoes. Highly recommend this place for brunch when you're in the area
DiMarie Lord
Beautiful restaurant and fantastic experience! I went there for brunch and who doesn’t love all you can drink mimosas?! You buy an entree between $16-$30 is the price range and spend another $12 for the all you can drink. The food was absolutely delicious. I wish I saved a picture of the espresso cake because it was to die for! The server originally told us the “most popular” desserts, but when I asked her about the espresso cake, her face lit up, and I knew we had to try it! They even hand make the cream on top with espresso. We wanted extra cream because it was just so good but the kitchen only makes it when the order is being prepared. The restaurant also had a band come around and play a song for all the tables. It was wonderful!
This next part is not a negative comment but more of a recommendation. My date’s entree (the one farther away) was smaller than he anticipated and cost $26. I feel like for someone my size it would’ve been fine, but he’s a grown man, so he definitely needed more food. However, we understand poached eggs take a lot of attention and work to be made correctly (and they were amazing). My suggestion would be to maybe add an inexpensive side, like the potatoes I received, and adjust the price a little.
Everything was fantastic - from the food to service ! Highly recommend. Wish I could remember my servers names. The two girls were great! One was a taller blonde with glasses and the other was originally from NY.

10 stars. Lundi Gras brunch was delicious.
We ate out in the courtyard.
As usual the staff was amazing. Working hard to keep all the crazies happy.
We were the ones giving out glass beads.
We did miss the printed keepsake napkins. Those were kinda cool. Please bring them back as a souvenir next year.
Loved our coffee diabolique tableside ala Mr John.
He is the only one that does it perfectly.
(Give him a raise)
The only disappointment is that he couldn’t serve it in style with the right cups and saucers.
We have two sets of them which we will be personally giving Mr. John.
Please consider having these cups made with the golden Broussards bee and crown logo.
I did see champagne flutes and other items in a case in the lobby.
These are classic items that make the experience memorable.
I’m sorry people have a tendency to steal them. But they are classic New Orleans style.
Let mr John stand by and watch as people use them so they don’t get stolen.
Next year we will get reservations for Friday the Krewe of bubbles. We missed out this year.
I tried open table but it wasn’t co operative.
We love Broussards and will be back again and again. We were just a bit disappointed this year.
This is the real deal of New Orleans.
This is dining.
Kerri Blache
Enjoyed a delicious and delightful dinner in the Prohibition room with a small group of 10. Kudos to the Chef & staff, including the bartenders downstairs beforehand - what a fabulous $5. happy hour cocktail menu too!
Victoria Ecker
Chef made me a creole tomato glazed tofu that isn’t on the menu yet, and it was exceptional. The live jazz creates the most wonderful atmosphere. What a treat. xx
TuckerBud44
Nice facility, the food was good but not spectacular, especially for the price. We had the special Thanksgiving meal. The turtle soup was excellent. Wait staff was good but clearly overworked.
Rose Echo
Beautiful atmosphere...amazing friendly fast service. Our food came out fast and perfect on a extremely sunday night. Must order desert...especially the banana fosters.
Jared Day
Food was okay, bottomless brunch was the most appealing thing. We had one server who was great but another who was awful. Literally was making faces at us. The place feels like you're dining at a plantation and was quite triggering to some members of my party. I would never go back.
Matt S
1990s themed dinner was a blast. Great food. Great drinks. We always make Broussard’s one of our stops when we come to the city.
Ryan Strange
First time going and the food was excellent!! Prices were fair and the service never skipped a beat. Super friendly staff.
William Jennings
Had an amazing jazz brunch I attended for my 40th birthday. Bloody Mary was awesome. Went with a southern classic v shrimp and grits for my entree and was not disappointed. Definitely want to make this stop if you are in New Orleans
Brandon Z James
Been a year since we last visited and even though I ordered the same dishes, it was still as magnificent as I remember. The turtle soup was quite good, but I have to say their French Onion soup is a must have, though it is not located on the menu. It is a substitute item, but it really should be a menu option with how good it was.
Stephanie Trott
We absolutely love Broussard's for Jazz Brunch!! The bottomless rosé or mimosas are terrific. The service is top drawer and the food is delicious. There is something special about getting a little dressed up and heading to the French Quarter with friends, family and your significant other for brunch at Broussard's. The inside of the building is absolutely beautiful, it transports you to another time. If you live in New Orleans or you're visiting New Orleans it is a must!
Christa Geyer
The hubs and I had a wonderful dining experience! Classic creole cuisine... excellent bronzed redfish!! The staff graciously adjusted the dish to meet my dietary restrictions. (Thank You!!!!!) Would happily dine here again!

My wife and I had an amazing brunch at Broussard's today! Thank you so much for a wonderful time in the Empire Bar. The service, cocktails, and food were fantastic! Everyone was super friendly and always on top of everything. Our bartender and server, Stephen, was amazing! Thanks again for such a wonderful Sunday!

I am here for the Southern Decadence event and my friends and I decided to make a reservation here. Some arrived later than others but by no longer than 20 minutes. Party of 14. The earliest arrived at 1130am. The service was poor, although I can respect their efforts due to the large volume of people in the entire restaurant. Drinks came late but the bottomless mimosas were very good. It had been over half an hour after drinks until we received our menus. And when we ordered it was not until an hour and a half had passed when it was recieved and was not all delivered together. The food was delivered lukewarm and lackluster. Due to the absence of heat it took away from a what would might have been a flavorful experience. The presentation was not what I expected for my first 5 star restaurant. Raspberry sauce smears on the plate clearly visible. I have been let down I am sad to say. I still would not give this place 1 star. It has its charms and the band was very talented. Perhaps if I decide to come back in future events Borussard's can show me a better second impression.
Edit: Alisha, the assumed manager, had apologized for the service and seems to be willing to learn from this encounter. She compensated for the errors provided today fairly. Next year I will give this place another shot. Until then this review stands.

Too bad it's not possible to give 10 stars. We ended up here for brunch unwittingly, and what luck! I can honestly say that I do not believe I have EVER experienced customer service of this level. Ostensibly every other person working there stopped by several times to see if we needed anything, and did so with a warm, friendly rapport. Plus, the food was delightful but an afterthought compared to the awesome staff. THEN, a 3-piece zydeco band came trough and played a song for us by request which was absolutely charming. We will most certainly be back.

Great jazz brunch. Bottomless mimosas. Chicken and waffles very tasty. And the seafood dip trio appetizer is a must.
Deb L.
Just attended a wedding and this location was beautiful! Staff was friendly and fun! It was a combination of both the history of the location with modern accommodations. The food was amazing and the drinks were great as well!
Jeanne Alm
Excellent restaurant. Their food is delicious and our server was very helpful and attentive. The jazz trio added to the overall experience.
Clever Android
Beautiful setting for a idyllic brunch . The flavors in the chicken and waffles are indescribable, they are now in my top ten. I can't wait to eat them again.
Anthony Harless
Was a wonderful place to dine for our anniversary! Servers were super helpful and polite! Pricey, but worth every bit!
Robye Lumb
While walking in the hot, muggy NOLA air, a friendly doorman introduced us to chilled air and the 1920’s menu for $19.20. There were three Starters, three Entrees and three Desserts., even covering a vegetarian! (Try the Cobbler🤫) The Pimm’s Cup is also a total hit👍🏻👍🏻
Everyone was super-friendly and worked great as a Team😎
Marlon Lawrence
Two things: get brunch here and if you’re planning an event rent the private room. I did both and I’ll be back at Broussard’s anytime I’m in New Orleans.
Reid Webber
Very nice restaurant. Ambiance was lovely, and the staff was very attentive. After a great meal, we wrapped it up with their Valentine's special dessert of a red velvet Swiss roll. Rolled in Oreos and a delicious creamy center. The highlight though was the raspberry sauce on the side. Delicious!!
Howard Sapper
Had a excellent experience at Broussard's.
Lindsey went out of her way to assist my parents and I.
Amy is an awesome bartender 😎
Bill deTurk
Food, service, atmosphere exceeded expectations! Chef Jimi and Sarah's service team made my wife's bday brunch unforgettable.. In a great way.
Shannon McNair
Can't wait to go back! Went for Friday brunch and highly recommend. I've been to other Friday lunch spots but this is my new fav. Service was great, 3 piece band was wonderful and food was fantastic. Split the crabmeat gratinee, had the red chili chicken biscuit and split an amazing chocolate dessert. The restaurant and courtyard are beautiful
Kyle Waldon
The manager Teal is effortless in making you feel welcome, he really went out of his way to chat us up and keep us engaged. Our server was standoffish and unpleasant sadly. The fried brussel sprouts were amazing! We absolutely love the seasonal menu, and the history of the restaurant adds to the ambience and charm.
Paul Hellemn
Fantastic restaurant with delicious food. Best shrimp and grits in my life. Much more flavorful food than most more expensive restaurants I've been to in the quarter.
The shrimp and grits was amazing, by far the best I've ever had. The fried oysters were also really good. The Brussels sprouts were good to. The coffee was also good and surprisingly cheap. Beautiful premises as well. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants in the quarter.
The veal grillades were actually not that impressive.
Stephen Manuel
Went here for happy hour, great drink prices and discounts on bites. Bartenders are friendly and did a great job with both drinks. I got the house specialty and my partner got the french 76.
Shane Harveston
Friendly staff . Great service however the brunch menu not impressive. We were actually disappointed ordered 3 brunch specials and none were what we expected. Crawfish in the omelet was super small. It was super dry. No taste of brie. Will not be back for brunch. Never had a bad experience here at dinner .
MCB Bourg
Brunch today it was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Rebecca for all the kind words about my daughter!
Megan Nichols
The Benedict was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the music really set the mood. I loved my experience here. I would highly reccomend the Jazz brunch on sundays.
Chris Smith
Food was delicious and executed perfectly. Great drink selection as well.
Jeffrey Miller
Highly recommended. We arrived early and we enjoyed the happy hour drink menu and bar staff. We loved the really great food and service. This restaurant was quiet and perfect for an intimate dinner for two. One of our favorite NOLA dining experiences.
stan beatty
Amazing brunch and jazz musicians! Absolute best eggs Benedict I've ever had. You have to try them on top of the seafood cakes! Amazing!!!!!!!
Robin Lewis
Celebrated with great friends at their Wedding reception. 1st class all the way. Never thought a wedding in New Orleans could be so much fun. The food was great, a private band put on an incredible show in the courtyard Then to end the e evening a New Orleans band lines everyone up and the bride and groom lead the parade. It was just amazing.
Dino Githens
Fantastic!!! Everything was excellent! We will definitely be back...We had Dinner in the Courtyard...
Miles Selvidge
Overall Broussard's was ok.The servers were very nice and polite, but seemed overloaded. This I think is responsible for the mix-ups that occured (lost track of our drink orders multiple times and in general were very slow). We were there for 3 hrs with many long (20+ mins) times where we were just waiting. In general they did not have a good cadence of taking orders and bringing food. The food quality was ok. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly, but my wife's duck was overcooked and the sauce for the red fish was pretty salty for our taste. The desserts were fabulous both the strawberry tart and bananas foster (the flames at the table for making the bananas foster was fun). Overall it was ok, but for the price, probably not worth it. I think they could address most issues with better organization and coordination and a few tweaks to the food.
Ferrety Ferret
Great experience! My wife and I are celebrating our honeymoon in New Orleans and decided to have a fancy dinner last night. Broussard's did not disappoint. Megan, Mason and Noel did an amazing job making our dinner as wonderful as possible. The drinks were really good and the food was phenomenal. My wife had the Redfish which she claims was to die for and I had Filet Mignon Au Poivre which was juicy and the sauce was great! Definitely recommend for date nights and/or any celebrations.
Melissa Munoz
The ambiance was perfect. The food was delicious.
Chris Wiley
This was a great classic fine dining place. It has been around for quite some time. The food an service was outstanding. Highly recommend.
ella ahmed
Definitely thought we were heading to a drag brunch but turned out to be a Jazz brunch.
The chicken and waffles is amazing!!!
rubenprez
Everything was delicious! The service was extraordinary and the place is beautiful. Such an experience! I love it!
Libby Lee
Came here to enjoy the reveillon dinner. Was not disappointed. The food and service was top notch.
Chris Anderson
First visited Broussard's in October, 2012. It was my wifes first trip to New Orleans and I wanted some place nice to take her. We visited again New Year's Day 2019. It was not a nice experience! Caveat: There was a Sugar Bowl game going on. We were dressed to the nines, surrounded by a sea of sports jerseys! Not attire I would have expected, and I think the wait staff was a bit overwhelmed. Expecting a nice quiet dinner, it felt more like a sports bar. But, again, it was a Bowl day, so can't really blame Broussard's. But we, and one other table based on their visual cues or dismay, were all crammed in the front dining area. And we were seated right by the open doorway. It was so loud the waitress could barely hear us, and we could not converse. We rushed through dinner and finally asked if we could move to the bar to have our dessert. They obliged, and it was much nicer. I was upset to see the entire back area of the restaurant was unoccupied! I wish they'd at least have offered to seat us someplace more quiet. Guess we should have asked. The food? Well, meh. Nothing really stood out, though the presentation was nice. Probably give it one more shot but will make sure it isn't a game day...
Charles Conti
Exceptional food and service. Have been to numerous New Orleans restaurants and this is one of the best.
Denise MacLeish
Go to place for my daughter's birthday, staff is wonderful and unlimited mimosas are definitely unlimited. Even gave us one for the road. Look forward to 2021!
Jordy Jordan
Amazing dinner. We each had fish, redfish and pompano, and we’re cooked to perfection. Very moist. The Brussels sprouts with bacon jam is out of this world.
Christine M
Stopped in for happy hour. Nice atmosphere. Good drinks. The courtyard was so pretty!
Bree
BRUNCH BRUNCH AND MORE BRUNCH!!! Love this place. So elegant, full of natural sunlight and great vibes. bottomless mimosas were served 1 at a time BUT they were indeed bottomless. Food didn't miss either. Entire experience was 5stars.
JERL MORGAN
We came to Broussard’s because it was voted one of the best happy hours near Bourbon Street! I cannot say enough good things about this place. Number one...it is absolutely beautiful. Number two... Rita, our bartender was AMAZING! She was fun and knowledgeable. I’m leaving here with a newfound friend. Come to meet her for yourself and you will understand!
Dina Teshler
Delicious food, the service was great. The manager was really nice. Nice atmosphere.
Ryan Victor
Cochon de lait Benedict is sublime! Very pleasant live jazz during the weekend brunch, and bottomless mimosas for $14, what's not to love!
Molly Hill
My boyfriend and I enjoyed a lovely Valentine’s Day dinner at Broussard’s (reservation made through open table). I was a little worried at first because Google Maps listed the restaurant as closed on Mondays but we showed up and everything was okay. I was given a rose upon being seated, and the service as regular and excellent, with managers coming by a few times to check on us as well. The food was wonderful, especially the shrimp and foie gras croquettes, and the bananas foster flambée. Between two entrees, one appetizer, two desserts, and two glasses of wine, tip, and tax, we spent around $85 each. Highly recommend especially for a special occasion!
Nick E.
Good stuff and the outside sitting is very nice. Waiters are kind and we struck up a convo with one. The desserts are great as well (we had this kind of pudding or something that I can't remember the name topped with graham crackers).
Nathaniel Zumhagen
We started off our trip in New Orleans here for brunch. Broussard's set the tone for the whole trip. The staff was amazing and kind and we happened to be there while I was live music. Loved this experience!
Kim H.
Sunday brunch with friends from college. Everything about this was amazing. Will definitely be back!
Webster Webster
Best brunch we had in New Orleans. We have a lot of food allergies and they worked really hard to make sure everything was perfect. We also came during Fat Tuesday weekend so I am very impressed by this place.
Amy Teske
On of the best brunch experiences of my life! Such great service and such great food!
Rosa Noesi
This resturant was so cute. The staff was polite and the food was delicious. They also congratulated me and my bfs one year anniversary. I would definitely recommend.
Casey Anderson
We visited for our anniversary dinner while in Navarre. Amazing food and service. Restaurant is cleaning and inviting. Ben was our server and did an awesome job. We had boudin for starters. They were very good. Crisp exterior and creamy inside. Great flavor. My husband had the 1/2 and 1/2 platter. He enjoyed it. Light and crispy fish filets, gorgeous shrimp, cajun fries were so good, hush puppies and coleslaw was creamy and crispy. I had the shrimp and grits. Absolutely did not disappoint! Layers of flavors and textures. We finished with the fried cheesecake. The pecan praline sauce should be sold in the market. It was so good. Cheesecake and the crust were perfect. We will definitely be back!
thequeenbee76
Had so much fun! Just wandered in and it was such a happy surprise, as we’d just arrived in town and it was hot and chaotic outside, and we walked into a cool, beautiful oasis. Great bartenders. Wish I’d gotten their names because they deserve a lot of praise. Wonderful food. Cornbread was insanely good, as were the oysters. Great experience.
Tuesday Waldee
Absolutely delicious!! Perfect Sunday brunch.
Craig Gommel
Employee very helpful and answered all questions, service on time, food was good, went out of the way for a birthday surprise, will return Thanks
Ola Dziuba
Food was good. I dont like the band invading your space and asking for tips, not at a place of this ‘class’
Anthony Anodebe
I enjoyed the port tenderloin. The food was good and the place was very clean.
matthew gorczyca
Outstanding service. Excellent authentic creole menu. Beautiful historic restaurant in the heart of New Orleans.
Ben McLeish
Wonderful service. Food was good not amazing but solid. Yule log wasn't great.
Southern Independant
This place has a great enviroment and the service was wonderful. Here you have a three server team so you shouldn't have a problem getting refills. The food was very good and the presentation was upscale. I docked a star simply because, as a parent, they didn't have a child's menu or coloring sheets like most places. Even in the higher class settings these pages help keep the children settled during dinner, which in turn is great for the other guests as well.
Alex Potashinsky
All the appetizers were delicious, fillet was perfectly cooked. The standout was the gumbo.
Joe Sylvester
Red fish was recommended by the hostess and she was spot on. Great environment and food!
Colleen Laginess
Broussards was amazing! They are celebrating 100 years and I had the Prix Fixe dinner. The three course meal was divine. Worth it!
Misti Rogstad
The food was amazing. The staff were too.
Pete Ramsey
Fantastic service, delicious food, beautiful space. The prix fixe menu was definitely worth it. A nice date night.
Denise Burgess
(More like 3.5 stars) this was an underwhelming experience. If there are levels to fine dining, this restaurant is on the lower tier. The food was just okay. Nothing to write home about. Nothing I couldn't make for myself at home. Dessert was really underwhelming, like the sort of stuff you'd pick up at a bakery. Service was okay. Just a little more polite and attentive than a casual dining restaurant. The thing that really disappointed me was the fact that we were told there was a dress code, which we adhered to, but most patrons were dressed casually. I'm talking shorts, t-shirts, jeans, etc. I would not recommend and would not go back just because there are better options out there, and life is too short for underwhelming experiences.
Blaze Waters
This was our favorite we ate 2 days in a row an they were great with switching out things for my gluten-free diet thank you team
Jeffrey Pinhey
Wonderful atmosphere, very friendly staff, especially John. Great food!!
Tom SLC
Amazing food! 5 star service! Great entertainment :)
Mike Wise
Oh man, I had veal with Marscapone grits, wife had the Crab Quiche, 21 yo got Krystal (the hot sauce) glazed fried chicken& waffles, 11 yo had fried chicken and fries. It was superb! The duck/alligator/sausage gumbo was great, the cherry/almond bread pudding was not. But, because I can't have nuts, the vanilla ice cream was awesome!!
Peter Jennings
We had a wonderful time at brunch. We will surely be back to do it again.
Katie McLane Allison
History, Jazz, Eggs Benedict Josephine, Bloody Mary. Everything you need in a weekend brunch in NOLA.
Najarit Felix
Such a lovely atmosphere with a live small band that jazzes your meals and lots of mimosas. The food is superb and so is the service.
christopher bishop
really awesome staff and great brunch location. Live band playing bluegrass and dixieland style jazz. Would take requests and really nice folks. Food was good.
Kurt Petersen
The food was generally great. The wait staff were, however, inattentive. Forgotten drinks, never served bread they said they would, slow water refills. Waiters smashed plates, mouse run across room nearby. For the price you’d definitely expect better service.
Jonnathan J Rodriguez
Went here for brunch, I first want to talk about the service, it was really good. My wife and I got the Bottomless Mimosas, and I have to say that they stepped up and delivered, our glasses were never (and I mean it, never) empty!. Now, the place was really nice, some live music (which is always great), I got the Chicken and Waffles and to be honest it was disappointing (for the price, $24 I think), just wasn't good enough. For appetizers we got the seafood platter which is was tasty but I do not know, maybe I did not choose the right things from the menu.
They have this nice looking patio area which I think it would be great food a nice Sunday morning with mimosas, sadly it was raining the day we went.
Robert Falkowski
The food was amazing and so was the service Steven and Brady were great, will definitely be returning if/when we come back to New Orleans!
shannica goode
Food is absolutely delicious!! Endless mimosas is amazing. They fill your cup as soon as it's low. I'm a business owner myself and rarely see an establishment where everyone is giving 100 percent customer service. I love it!!
Mr. Mayhem
The food is ok but the price brings down the score, I have had better food for this price in the area. Also the band was too loud but the restaurant looks very nice and the staff were very friendly.
Iron Man
I love this place the atmosphere is legit! Rachel is the best bartender and one of the best people I've ever met!!! She really made my experience unforgettable! Dillon was super cool and knowledgeable! He told me about cool places to see and where to find good gumbo and history of the building and town! Def go here if you want cool vibes and friendly people and an all around great time!!!!! I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!!!
ashley talkington
Wonderful time, amazing food and the best staff. Would recommend to everything!
Gina N
This restaurant is an absolute must in NOLA. I had an amazing experience with my boyfriend 2 years ago and we because of that, I was a little nervous to go back because I thought it couldn't possibly be as amazing as it was the first time. But I was wrong! Every bite of food we had was incredible, our server Stephen was so sweet and personable, I love the feel of the place, everything was simply amazing and so memorable for us! We can't wait to go back the next time we visit!
Brittany Centifanto
We decided on Broussard’s for our wedding reception and couldn’t have asked for a better venue to work with. Valerie did an incredible job making sure our special day was beautiful, even despite the rain. The staff was awesome, the food was over the top. They are incredibly easy to work with, I’m over the moon with the service provided!
Annie Philley
The Happy Hour at Broussard’s is the best I've ever experienced. Top of our list was the Alligator & Duck Gumbo (5$!!) and even the Turtle Soup (also $5 - first time having turtle). Both were amazing. The service was great and the $5 cocktails we're incredible. 10/10, will return to Broussard’s
Alena Zakharova
It was clean place with great service. The food was delicious. Thank you
Phoebe Taylor
The service is amazing here, bottomless mimosas never even got half empty and they even let us take the rest of our champagne bottle in a to go cup. We had two waiters taking care of us and they were very professional and attentive. Nice ambiance with a live band playing music to tables. The only reason I knock off a star is because it was about $100 with tip for two brunch entrees and two bottomless mimosas and the food honestly wasn’t good enough to justify that price. It was good just not $50/person good.
Eileen Thomas
Best cuisine ever. Chicken and waffles were great. We had the best waiter, James. Very attentive. You will enjoy it
Earnest Carter
I was was really excited to give Broussard's a try as I had seen so many great reviews. I must 1st say that I was HIGHLY impressed with the highly attentiveness of staff. I couldn't believe how amazing the service was even along with the hostess that was on duty. Everyone not only played their job role well but they assisted others as well and you could see they were ensuring that the guests were having the best dining experience
As far as the food, I started off with the spicy popcorn shrimp and the spinach & artichoke dip and I was slightly impressed, mainly with the shrimp. Good flavor for sure. As far as the 2nd course, I ordered the Rosemary & Balsamic Glazewood Pork Tenderloin that came with a side of bacon potato salad, and kale &almond slaw and I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. I don't know if I was served a bad dish or what but every single thing was doused in the balsamic vinegar and it was horrific. I'm guessing that whenever the dish was being prepared by whomever, that person didn't take proper care and splashed the balsamic vinegar every where that it shouldn't have been and because of that the entire dish was ruined. I couldn't get any true taste of the food. The pork itself was in huge chunks. I couldn't even taste the potatoes in the potato salad due to the balsamic taste being tooooo strong and overpowering. I didn't want to send the food back mainly because I enjoying the atmosphere and my company but needless to say I was only able to take about 2 or 3 bites before I had to just push the dish to the side and hope that I got a good dessert.
Ordered the 3rd course and got the creole Louisiana long grain rice calas and it was ok. Nothing spectacular at all
All in all I was happy with the staff, the amazing array of the historic building but the food was not up to par as it should have been.
Kevin Slark
The Revellion Christmas menu was fantastic! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was old line New Orleans at its finest. If you want an old-school fine dining experience this is the place to go.
Andrew Natale
Not the best not the worst. Wait staff was very friendly but not knowledgeable on menu. Food was ok. Had food that was much better here in New Orleans. For the price I would have wanted much more. Left with the attitude that it's OK place but won't ever go back
Glinda Mantle
My first visit in the past 15 years. My friends and I enjoyed a delightful Sunday Brunch which featured a live Jazz trio that played bbn on the courtyard. The menu offered a wide variety of brunch and lunch items that included about a half dozen poached egg whites items. All the dishes we ordered were delicious, and my poached eggs were perfect! Thank you you for a lovely experience!
Celeste Slone
We had our staff Christmas party here on Friday Dec 13. It was my first time eating at this restaurant. The staff and management is top notch. They were very attentive even though there were a number of staff parties going on. The food; excellent. This was a great experience and the courtyard is a beautiful place to hang out. The live jazz band was a great touch. Keep up the good work guys, I will be back!
Drea Sulfar
My husband took my here for my birthday
We didn't have a reservation, but the house manager was very accommodating and we sat in the bar area.
Beautiful atmosphere. Very classy and vintage vibe. Food was amazing. I had the duck breast and I wasn't disappointed.
James Thomas
While all the food was VERY good, the pork chop was absolutely amazing. The service was top notch. Unfortunately we didn't dine alone -- we had a mouse running around near our table in the courtyard. He was cute, but not what I want to see while dining. :)
Sasha Thatcher
We went for brunch. I had Napoleon Benedict and my husband had the hamburger. We shared the bread basket. The Benedict was cooked perfectly and the hamburger was made from high quality beef. There was a great assortment of breads in the basket. I also got the bottomless mimosas for $14 which was a great deal because 1 mimosa was $10. This is our first time here and would definitely return!
Joy S
I LOVE this place. Of all the restaurants I visited while in New Orleans, this is the one that left a lasting impression. Elegant, beautiful setting, wonderful service, delectable food, and we were lucky enough to have a band come and play a few selections for us during our brunch. Unfortunately the place was booked for dinner, because I wanted to come back a second time. I 100% recommend and will be sure to be back during my next visit.
Josh Gates
This is by far our favorite high end restaurant. The food is always perfect and changes seasonally. The barkeeps are really consistent and and make quality cocktails.
Dana Broussard
Remember it being better. Filet was over cooked.
Gerald Groskopf
When there for dinner the food was incredible it was incredible went for brunch and the food was even better a must do when you're in New Orleans
Bert Boelens
Best restaurant experience in New Orleans with Jazz music at the table, chicken waffles and bottomless mimosas! 🥂❤️ …
Nina Grdic
This restaurant was an absolutely lovely experience. The staff was professional but warm and personable, and my off-menu vegan dish was excellent! My husband's steak seemed to be cooked perfectly, as steak is a specialty of this restaurant. I recommend it 100%.
Krystyn Moutinho
Brest brunch ever !!! Joy and Ariel were the best servers. They were so personable, funny and helpful. We had a great experience at the restaurant and they helped us for plans after! The food was amazing. We all got something different and everything was so tasteful! We got the unlimited mimosas and our glasses never even hit half full. We got to listen to live jazz music throughout brunch as well. Great service and experience !!!
Duane “Rocky” Rockymore
Broussard's is everything and more you want in a fantastic Brunch spot .
The staff and service was unmatched. It really takes you back to the finer days of white glove service .
We had bottomless mimosas to get the day started.
I highly recommend the porkchop dish. It literally melts in your mouth .
We also had Josephine Benedict this dishes were to die for .
If you still have space and the end pf your day make sure you enjoy one of the amazing deserts.
Christopher Stevens
The jazz brunch here is an absolute must. Sit on the patio if the weather supports but the inside is amazing as well. Get the bottomless mimosas. Have fun.
Daria Miller
We recently visited while on a trip to celebrate a friend's birthday. everything was perfect, couldn't have asked for a better New Orleans brunch! Everyone loved their food, and the music was so greatthey sang happy birthday to my friend and everyone in the restaurant joined in! They also gave us a happy birthday dessert which was beautifully presented. iI also cannot say enough about the service. We were a pretty big group of 7 and we were treated exceptionally well. Our bottomless mimosa glasses were never empty, they answered all of our questions on the menu, and offered suggestions too.
I will definitely be recommending Broussard's to anyone I know travelling to new Orleans and I hope to return!
Paige McKay
Dillon was our server and he was fantastic from start to finish, very professional and attentive. Our beverage specialist was an amazingly knowledgeable lady who gave us the history of some of their coctails. There was a great jazz band playing who went around the all of the tables, so everyone got a front row seat and they offered to sing Happy birthday to one of our party. The food was amazing, I highly recommend the chicken and waffles. The sage butter was to die for and the chicken was seasoned perfectly. if you're looking for a jazz brunch, I would highly recommend this place.
Erin Landis
Beautiful decor and courtyard. Staff was attentive and hard working. Bartenders made very good cocktails. Loved the Blueberry martini. Great place for brunch.
Kevin Carroll
If you're looking for some better food this would be the place. After eating Bar food for a few days so welcoming pleasure
Vintage Frenchie Adventures
The only thing that saved this experience was Ashley our Hostess. She was lovely and attentive and helped with serving, clearing tables, anything she could to make her co-workers work load lighter. Wait was incredibly slow (we had reservations for 8:45) we got seated at 9:30. Food was just ok...nothing to rave about. Especially for the price point. I get that Broussard’s is an old school Nola experience. But for the price I can get amazing food in 30 other places. The bathroom was not clean. Dessert was bad, dry and took an hour to get it. We arrived at 8:45 and didn’t get finished until almost 11pm, and not because we were having a good time. I stayed patient only because the staff was very apologetic and it was a few days before Christmas and they were very short staffed. But not happy! Will not be back.
G
Great brunch and a beautiful restaurant with great jazz trio
Jessica Clubb
This was the best brunch I’ve ever had! The atmosphere and service were high end without a hint of pretentiousness. Our server, Allie I think was fantastic. She’ll know I’m speaking of her because she taught us to call Mimosas “mimis”. Speaking of, the bottomless mimosas are a great value! The food was equally great. I had chicken biscuit, crab Benedict, and banana fosters for dessert. Some of my favorite foods and was not disappointed.
Alyssa Carter
This was our first visit to Broussard and we were glad they could fit us in for brunch on Saturday. The atmosphere is quite chic and the food was good; service was a bit slow, although it was Sat. My Napoleon Benedict was well prepared and the grits nicely done. My spouse's Pain Perdue was delightful and the champagne with brunch kept us lubricated. They did not have cappuccino the day we were there and that was disappointing. We have been regulars at Arnauds' and this is an inviting atmosphere with inside and outside seating, perhaps not as over the top as Arnaud's.
Madeleine Irell
Broussard's was lovely as usual and the food was exquisite. The service fell off a bit toward the end of our meal...the server who usually prepares the Cafe Brule' which is featured on the dessert menu was off tonight and nobody else at the restaurant apparently was able to make it. We ordered the chocolate mousse which was to come with cookies...it did not and not until we asked were we told they were out. Service was friendly and welcoming, but was a little lacking at the end. I will still be sure to return on my next visit.
Rocky Dicke
I absolutely love this place. It's one of my favorite spots in New Orleans. I would recommend it for those craving a great experience in fine dining. I usually sit at the bar on random days for great drinks and wonderful seasonal dishes.
Dave S
There can be no better place in New Orleans for atmosphere, attentive, polished, unobtrusive service, delicious food and value for money. Make this a repetitive stop and ask for Brady!
Daniel Varnell
We ate breakfast here and were not disappointed. The wait staff were kind and the food was amazing.
KT Warfield
Had a wonderful time and the food was delicious. Our table ordered 5 different menu items and all were excellent. Recommend the Bananas Foster for the show and sooo good! Staff was professional and friendly. Exactly what I would seek out for a nice dinner in New Orleans.
Eric Brunner
It's a classic spot and it's fun to go with a big group. I just expected a little more at that price point
Ricardo van Dijk
What a great restaurant! This centenary place is full of tradition and offers amazing food and very friendly service! We came here for thanksgiving dinner and we were extremely happy with our choice! The deserts are spectacular, make sure you don’t skip then in your next visit!

The best food I had in my four days in New Orleans. The truffle blue crab claws and pork chop are a must try. Food was prepared immaculately and service was warm and friendly! Paired with live music, it was the perfect welcome to NOLA. Highly recommend.
Mark Sharrock
Wonderful meal, friendly staff, 100 years of excellence! Here's to 100 more years!
Jason Easterman
Excellent brunch, bottomless champagne mimosas. Eggs Benedict a number of different ways: traditional, Napoleon, Josephine, Au Cachon, etc. 15 minute usual wait time. Great wait staff.
Nathaniel “Ryan” Bowman
Lacking in attentive service and food presentation not on par with other restaurants in its class.
Craig Simmons
The highlight of our Final 4 experience was the Sunday Jazz Brunch. Amazing food and music.
Joe Anand-Obleton
Great food, and awesome staff. The jazz band was the icing on the cake to making it such an amazing experience.
Josh Reid
Awesome experience here at Broussards. We had our company event here and it was a great venue that had everything taken care of. Even had a great cigar setup that was rolling fresh cigars for our enjoyment. The food was spot on and included many flavors and something for everyone. All of the alcohol was top shelf and not some plastic dollar wells drinks. If we come back to NOLA we will be sure to stop by here.
Vanessa Catania
Sunday Jazz Brunch was amazing!! The food, the customer service and the music created an experience that will not be soon forgotten. If you are in New Orleans, Broussard's is a necessary stop.
Jenn Homan
I know the reviews are mixed, but we took the chance. I think some people just can't be pleased, because we had an awesome meal & great drinks. We went on a quiet Monday night during the off season. There were probably two other couples in the whole restaurant, so we has our bartender's complete attention. Matthew was great & personable. The pork chop may have been the best I've ever had, and I'm a chef who's been in the industry almost 20 years. Don't go with a jackass tourist attitude or expectations. Go for the beautiful courtyard and the A+ food. This was the best meal I had in New Orleans, and that's saying something.
Philip Gamon
I was torn by this place. We went for a friends birthday and as nice as it was, it didn't show in the food quality. The jazz band played for maybe 10 minutes. The bottomless mimosa did not flow. A table of 7 spent $400 on breakfast.

We went her for my sister's bday dinner. Ambiance was beautiful and welcoming staff was so nice. Our waitress, on the otherhand seemed like she was having a rough end of the day. Seemed very winded.
The food was subpar. I tried the turtle soup and wasn't impress. The salad that was served had very old/aged lettuce placed on the plate.
For my entree, I had the stuffed snapper which was actually delicious. Rich in flavor.
Aimee Nicolette
My first time here and it didn't disappoint. Our waiter was very helpful and informative. We ordered an off menu drink that we had only heard of and they were able to make it, no problem. The fish Pontchartrain was to die for.
Cindy Webb
Our waitress was amazing and informative! Loved the Port Wine House Dressing! So innovative. The Jumbalaya was the best I have ever had and the Crawdad Et Tu Fe was scrumptious! Better than Papadeaux in Tx! Everything else was great too. Could not eat it all at once.
courtney messerly
Had my daughters 16th birthday celebration there and it was amazing. The staff was wonderful and the girls loved everything, the courtyard to the appetizers to dessert. Great atmosphere. Thank you Rebecca for all you did to help us enjoy this celebration
Kim Variste
Atmosphere was nice..courtyard dining but staff could never get outdoor heaters to work and brunch entree eggs Benedict was cold. Requested another entree chicken and waffles and was just okay. Wouldn't recommend
Carlie Armstrong
I’ve only had happy hour bites and drinks here, but they did not disappoint. Delicious small plate options (especially the alligator sausage gumbo!) and fantastic drinks. I’ll be thinking about that Ramos Gin Fizz for many years to come.

We had an unbelievably great meal. Best we have had in New Orleans. The waitstaff we had were amazing. Even though they knew we were just visitors, they treated us like we were their best customers. I would make a special trip to New Orleans just to have dinner here again.
David Temple
I had the Christmas prix fix menu. The lobster bisque, no where close to being a bisque. The duck was good and the bread pudding dessert was the best part of the meal. My girlfriend had the gulf fish and was disappointed. The wait staff needs to learn not to interrupt conversation to ask if there is anything we need.
Eugene Williams
We had high expectations for brunch at this fabled establishment (having had an excellent dinner here before). The four star rating reflects the effort to rectify the experience made by an excellent manager.
The brussel sprouts with whipped brie appetizer we ordered was quite good. The char grilled sprouts were combined with granny smith apples and a delightful bacon jam rounded out this flavors.
The $10 bread basket was made up of mini pound cakes and other sweets with jam and honey butter. It seemed like a little too heavy and more of a pastry basket.
The biggest problems were with the two benedicts which came out COLD (Josephine and Couchon de lait). The brie omelette was delicious and at the correct temperature. The gulf shrimp and grits with marscapone cheese was a bold dish and very flavorful.
The manager was concerned that we were not satisfied and made sure she made things right. The benedicts are probably fantastic, had they not been served cold. Even weirder, the coffee was cold as well.
E. M. Jerkins
EVERYTHING was delicious; it was 3 of us so we all got something different for appetizers and entrees and EVERY bit got eaten. Plus the service by Dillon and Mason was awesome, AND the ambiance and decor is gorgeous. We came for Sunday brunch and there was a live jazz trio that came and played requests at each table. I reccomend!
Bonnie Munson
My girlfriend and I stopped in here for brunch on a Wednesday. It was a beautiful day so we sat in the courtyard to listen to the live music. Our server was very helpful as we were just starting our day in the Quarter and only wanted something light to drink and an appetizer. He recommended a delicious split of Chandon Sparkling Wine. We ordered the Louisiana Gulf seafood trio and it was the perfect complement. The musicians stopped by our table and asked if we had any requests. We asked them to play one of their favorites. It was delightfully fun.
Jules Chester
We held a corporate event here and it was fabulous. The venue was stunning, especially the huge outdoor space in the back.
They really did things up for us. I loved the beautiful displays of fruit especially. Great work by management and staff. Event was highly successful and I enjoyed being a part of it.
Would highly recommend for events.
Amanda S
We loved it here so much that we came back a second time during our one week vacation (no other restaurant got visited twice). The first time we went was for the jazz brunch... Having a live quartet play was really special, the food was delicious, but most of all the service was the absolute best. Every single person there was so kind and attentive. It is very old fashioned in terms of service quality with crisp white table clothes, the servers refold your napkin when you stand up, etc. We came again for my birthday dinner and again, it did not disappoint. They had an incredibly affordable summer pre fixe menu- much much cheaper than restaurants of similar caliber. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the food far exceeded my expectations. And the service again, was so good. Our waitress remembered us from six days prior, they were very accommodating of and kind to our daughter, and they brought out an extra dessert with candle for my birthday. We ordered two local cocktails- both delicious. The restaurant is beautiful- the seating in the back is especially beautiful with red brick arches overlooking the courtyard (inside of which also a beautiful place to sit). The food is traditional but done really well. For example, I got the moules frites, which is a pretty common dish, but it had fennel spears cooked in that were delicious, the sauce was amazing, the fries extra tasty. It is hard to come across the trifecta of affordable (for such a fancy restaurant), delicious AND amazing service. This place exceeds the mark. I'm only sad that we don't live here so can't continue to reward such great food and service with our repeated patronage. Next time we visit New Orleans however, we will be sure to return!
Adrian C
Very nice , great food , looking and feeling clean.
Christopher Hegar
Blue crab omelets, shrimp and grits and bottomless mimosas for Sunday jazz brunch. Some of the best service Ive ever had.
Katie Mulryan
Incredible staff and delicious cocktails! Tom at the bar a delight and mixed the best cocktails I had in New Orleans. Lionel was our waiter and he provided outstanding service and even worked to make sure the vegetarian in our party had great options. The food was wonderful.
Amber Sellers
Hands down my vote for the best Sunday brunch in NOLA for travelers. The different design elements makes you feel like you're getting a bit of a history lesson with your meal. The flavors and portions do not disappoint and the live music is the perfect touch to the ambiance. Come in your sunday best or favorite casual brunch attire, you will feel more than welcomed. Impeccable service makes this place a winner in my book.
David Steiner
Excellent staff Excellent food. Live jazz trio also excellent. We had nice time. We will return on our next visit to nola.
Mel Shrader
Bottomless mimosas! Great ambiance for our Saturday brunch. Enjoyed the trio of musicians playing at the tables and they were very respectful of the customers and not intrusive at all. The food was of high quality and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this place
Eli Evans
I visited Broussard's for Sunday brunch and couldn't be more pleased. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. The jazz band was a delightful touch. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting an authentic brunch and New Orleans eating experience. I will certainly be back again my next visit to NOLA!
Joshua Hall
Amazing food amazing staff.
Back in town helping my mother move and had to stop in again. Gulf shrimp pasta was amazing, Steven was great at his job and took excellent care of us. If you goto the bar Rachel will take care of you.
Jesse Ortueta
Devan and Thom were superb. Their expertise behind the bar and their friendly attentiveness made for an excellent experience. They created amazing cocktails for us. I told them I'm a rum drinker and Devan quickly whipped up a delightful cocktail he called a silver daisy. We highly recommend this establishment especially when these two great men are behind the bar.
Stanford Kim
As the last location my friend and I went to before departing from New Orleans, we wanted to try the world-famous Ramos Gin Fizz, a drink created and popularized in NOLA. After some hesitation and skepticism we ordered the drink and were met with surprise to discover just how delicious this drink was. It tasted zesty and creamy with a hint of a citrus flavor to it. The service was impeccable, the bartender was so friendly and kind, and the Ramos Gin Fizz was on point!
Kim Morris
Broussard's is absolutely a gem of New Orleans, the atmosphere is fantastic, vintage and old school. Their General Manager Chris, Manager Kaci and Chef Neal are all irreplaceable, they know how to take care of their guests. We love everything about this place, from the food, to the wine and drinks, but especially the way we are treated. They also have an amazing jazz brunch with unlimited mimosas, and a great band. If you couldn't tell by my review that I highly recommend this place, I'll say it - I highly recommend this place. :)
Kristen M
Most beautiful restaurant in all of New Orleans!! Bananas foster is a must. Our experience was elevated by Johnathon. Well done!!!
Jonathan Magid
We loved the brunch and jazz trio here on Saturday morning. The shrimp and crab benedict was on point, the waitstaff was friendly and fun, and it's a perfectly beautiful room. Throw in a couple cocktails and it's tough to figure a better way to start your day.
Amber D.
Beautiful venue and the staff was so nice and personable.
Tomas D. Spillane
This was the best first decision of the day on vacation.
A clean cool bar with a pleasant bartender and the best French 75 that I've had in the quarter.
Keith Lawrence Hearn
Christmas lunch was fantastic. Nice professional staff. Lobster bisque was delish. The duck was absolutely perfect. 100 year old restaurant, but such a comfortable feel.

We had a blast with the bottomless mimosas. Band was good friendly. They said several famous people have dined there. They treated us like celebrities. Wonder if they thought we were in cognito. Oh food was good too.
Patricia Gaddis
We chose Broussard's as our Christmas Day lunch restaurant. Having read the menus of many places, we were glad to be able to obtain a reservation. Was it worth all of the hype? Honestly, no. This is not to say, the food was not good, or the service was bad, it just wasn't the experience, I expected from such a well regarded place to present. Small details were missed in the food, as well as in our service. Maybe because we were a table of 3, not the table of 12, that were next to us. EVERY table should be treated the same. With all the choices in New Orleans, it will be a while before I go back.
Chandara Thach-Dawson
Amazing service! Great unlimited mimosas, they fill up the glasses before you can finish them!! Apps are great, omlette was delicious, chicken and waffles were great, but josephine Benedict was not so good. Overall amazing spot for brunch, live band that plays for each table and were awesome.
Kadin Robichaux
My mom treated me and my fiancé here for my birthday and it was so good. The drinks were great. Can’t remember what I ordered but I remember the food being really good. It was nice being able to dress up and enjoying excellent food and service.
Chris Sovine
We went for weekend brunch and really liked it. Great service, friendly and professional staff, nice jazz trio. The turtle soup is excellent but the shrimp and crab benedict and the southern fried chicken and waffles are simply wonderful!
Shawn Carnes (Baba's Share Show)
I was genuinely non-plussed by the brunch. Most expensive food in NOLA that I had. All our Benedict's were dry - little saucing going on. Lyonnaise potatoes were cold. Service was great, but not enough to make me want to go back.
Colleen King
Highly recommend the prix fixe dinner menu! It offers two choices for each the appetizer, entree, and dessert and is reasonably priced for the amount and quality of food you receive. If you want a real treat for you, and your fellow diners, order the bananas foster expertly prepared for you in front of the table- flames and all!
Steve Buttrick
Loved the courtyard dining. Food quality was excellent. I had the double porkchop, all I can say is wow. Service was a bit slow even with a team of three people.
J. TAYLOR
Went to Broussard's this past Saturday, Sept 12, 2020 for the "coolinary menu," and it was fabulous. Service was great, they didn't rush us, timing was perfect. The food is always consistent here, that's why I keep returning.
Sharon Cody
A good meal in a lovely setting marred by very poor service. The staff was uniformly inattentive, unfriendly and poorly trained. Our appetizers and entrees were good. The drinks and desserts were awful. There are many better options nearby. Choose one.
Theresa Halsell
This is for Rita at the Empire Room - thank you! Rita was tending bar both times we stopped by for a restorative during our week in New Orleans. She was sweet, funny, warm, and a great maker of drinks. We showed up on our first day of vacation and returned on our last day. Super comforting vibe and lovely atmosphere.
Sarah F. Deare
Where to start?!
Every member of the staff was friendly, personable, and helpful. Our servers, Gene and Alyssa (I think I got the names correct) were fun to visit with and seriously understand hospitality.
To start, we had the Oysters Broussard. Freaking delicious. I'm not big on fried oysters--typically I prefer raw or chargrilled--but these were a perfect start to the meal.
We both ordered the filet for our entree. Although our steaks were switched with another table's and they were a bit more done than we prefer, they were still tasty. Since I had already cut into mine, I chose to keep it anyway. For a steak to be cooked medium well and still be tender and enjoyable, the guys on the grill were definitely doing something right.
Also, we ordered a side of brussel sprouts to share. Along with the accompaniments to the steaks (whipped potatoes and perfectly cooked asparagus,) we were quite full.
Finally, for dessert, I had the creme brulee and my fiance had the blueberry something with cream cheese ice cream. He definitely enjoyed his and it *was* tasty. However, I was focused on my dessert. Creme brulee is my absolute favorite and Broussard's didn't disappoint. Unlike other establishments, you can taste the care that goes into this dessert. It is not the oily pudding that you find at other places, which honestly made my night.
I can't comment about the wine list or alcohol selection as we do not drink, but I'm sure if we did, we would be pleased.
This restaurant will become a tradition for us. The pricing was fair for the quality of food and portions, and I also enjoyed the old-school atmosphere.
10/10, we WILL be back next month.
Doug DeMoss
First - the food and drinks? Top notch. Service, however, was slow. I mean SLOW. Although I think some of that is by design, it was about an hour after the main course before our wait staff realized the desserts we had ordered as part of the prix fixe Reveillon menu were not actually available. That menu, also, did not match what was on their web site. If you have lots of time, enjoy, but this is not a place to go if time is a concern.
Genie L
Their drinks during happy hour are fab
Ron Croi
Very classy and fancy place, it was really a pleasure visiting.

Jazz Brunch is amazing. Even with a big group. The band dedicated time to each table and the food/drinks were top-notch. The courtyard out back is beautiful and would be nice to sit outside in good weather.
Joel Rabe
We did a wedding here (I was the DJ) and the spot is awesome... Great food, and a heck of an on site team! The garden fountains were a great spot to chill in tge huge back yard out door patio. We do a LOT of weddings and this def was a very cool fave!
Megan Hodorowicz
Had a birthday brunch here and had an absolutely fabulous time! Our waiter Harri was incredible and kept our glasses full and our spirits high. Can't beat the atmosphere with a live jazz band too-really can't recommend this place enough ❤

We made reservations here for Christmas dinner since our restaurant at the hotel was already filled. We had high expectations from the rating, the price, and from hearing from others. Our reservation was at 3, we arrived at 2:40 and the gentlemen at the front said we would have to wait a little closer to our time to be seated, and for us to go to the bar and he would come find us. We sat and waiting for the 20 minutes, but realized no one was coming to find us so we went back to the lobby. We then saw a group come through the door, mentioned they had a reservation, and were sat in just minutes. We had to go up to the desk to remind them we were there. We get seated in the back (colder) room. We were greeted by an older gentleman who filled our waters while putting his thumb on the rim of the glass at the same time (didn't complain because none of us really drink water with dinner anyway). Greeted by our server, given the order, then precede to wait. One person received their soup (and it was fabulous), but we then waited until after 4 to receive our dinners (remind you, we were ready to order as soon as we met our server). In this time, we find there is a third person on the "serving team" and are greeted. Both ladies of the team came to tell us at some point, "our food should be right up", and "your ticket is two checks behind" because it was taking so long. Meals were good. Although as I said, we had the pleasure of being in the back cold room, where one of the serving teams children was also sitting and eating, waiting for Mom to be done with work. That's fine and all, he was a good kid, until his supervision left the room, then he was on a phone/video conversation with his little friends, while at the same time watching some video game video that produced sounds of gun shooting and cars racing. Not what you would expect from $$$ dining. We finish the food, and as plates are cleared a dessert menu is placed down (no offer, no explanation, no suggesting, just placed and walked away). We order a second dessert from one we ordered previously, and 3 coffees. The bread pudding was nothing to write home about, the PB moose was very good. But the coffees ran empty, and we waited, and waited. Finally got a second cup, and after those emptied we were just done and ready to leave (it was after 5 by now). We even had to ask for our check twice. TL;DL - Food was good, service was sub-par, atmosphere was also not very pleasing for a family Christmas dinner together.
dan Berg
The food was exceptional. My wife and I were married here 9 years ago in the courtyard. I am happy to say that we will be making a habit of returning every year. Expansive wine, spirits and cocktail list makes it easy to find a complementary drink for every meal. Knowledgeable and very professional yet friendly wait staff made the meal all the better. We both started with the shrimp etouffe. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and chilled to just the right temperature. The etouffe sauce was the perfect compliment to the shrimp. My wife had the filet mignon bourdelaise and I had the redfish. My wife's steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and was of magnificent quality. It was served atop a bed of garlic mashed potatoes that were simply perfection. My redfish was flaky, well seasoned to just the right point where the taste of the fish came out and was accented nicely by the spices. We shared a bottle of vieuve cliquey champagne expertly poured by our waiters. We finished with the two desserts pur waiter recommended. The chocolate mint torte and the apple cheesecake. The torte was a magnificent harmony of dark chocolate torte and mint ice cream on top with a wonderous crust. The apple cheesecake was a perfect blend of sweet cream cheese and just the right amount of acid from theapples. A truly exceptional meal. I can not say enough good things. In a city where dining is an art form, Broussard's is a picasso.
Edward Barbezat
Great group dinner at Broussard's. The food was very good. I was not responsible for the reservations, but they seated 18 of us in the main dining room - which was quite loud and our group did not help matters. The only real complain i would have is how "willy-nilly" the food came out. It was at least a half-hour between when the first entree came out and when the last one did. It may easily have benn 45 minutes...
L'oreal Gilbert
Great food and staff felt very welcomed
S Villa
Food was tasty, but everything arrived lukewarm.
Mo Brama
My husband & I walked into Broussard's rather late (after 9 pm) last Tuesday night
Surprisingly we were welcomed and seated right away. I mention this only because 2 other restaurants had told us that their last seating was at 8 pm and basically refused our business. The manager recommended the pompano and the lamb. Both were outstanding. The courtyard was wonderful for our dessert and coffee. we definitely will be back!
Stacey Y
I so wanted to love Broussards. The dining room we were in was beautiful unfortunately the food and service were a mixed bag. We had brunch and the basket of breakfast breads was a highlight. We had among other things, a light moist slice of lemon bread, a crusty croissant, and tasty mini chocolate chip muffins. We ordered bottomless mimosas but got a small carafe of orange juice and empty champagne glasses. We had to finally flag someone down to have them filled. Each of our two refills required the same. No one ever volunterily brought champagne or oj. Next we had turtle soup. It was alright but the sherry topping arrived after we were half way through it and the chopped egg never arrived. I ordered the chicken and waffles as did one of my children. I loved the waffle (one of the best I've ever had) but found the chicken sickly sweet and had to push it to the side. My kids said they liked the chicken. Others at the table had Eggs Benedict and Stuffed Pain Perdu (all were described as ok). A second highlight to our meal came as we were leaving. A lovely female bartender took the time to tell us some of the history of the restaurant. That made for a nice end to our visit.
Lesley Gambino
Broussard's is beautiful and historic with a wonderful ambiance. The staff is professional and makes you feel like royalty. The food was delicious and there is a 1920's menu that is 3 courses for $19.20 that is a great way to have a luxurious meal at an affordable price.
Jeff Mouw
We had a great time. I made reservations for 12 people. 16 showed up. They quickly set up the extra seating and made it work. Food was wonderful! Thank you so much for providing a great experience for my guests!!
Kerry Douglas-Dupre
The food was really good but my chicken and waffles was cold and I had to ask more than once for coffee and for a refill for my bottomless mimosas. The service was not very attentive and not what I expected from a well know high end restaurant for NOLA.
Tiffany Firven
My daughter and 21 guest went to Broussard's on November 18,2017 to celebrate her 21st Birthday. It was the Best Jazz Brunch Ever. The staff was soooo Nice to us. The food was excellent, the whole experience was Great...I recommend Broussard's Brunch to Everyone
Laurie Shentalevenn
This was the end of restaurant week, and so I got a discount of sorts. I had The Onion cheese tart a roasted pork loin and a chocolate mousse. The Onion cheese tart was a little small Kaaba the poor coin was done to perfection. The mousse was also very delicious, and came in a sort of wide mouth champagne glass.
I have decided that it's unreasonable to down grade any food establishment on the basis that it's expensive, because all of them are expensive. All of my ratings from here on out will include dollar signs as restaurant guides to to tell you which ones are expensive and which ones are not. $$
Stephanie Gssime
Food was amazing, drinks were great, but the friendly staff and service made our experience exceptional. Thank you.
Lee Harrop
Quintessential New Orleans dining. The service was outstanding, atmosphere fit exactly what you would expect for the French Quarter. The food was perfectly cooked and just the right spice to give you the feeling of dining long ago. If you are looking for a taste of old New Orleans make a point to get a reservation at Broussard's
Sharon Sneed
This is a massively overrated old time establishment with poor management and long worn out standards and recipes. The endless mimosa helps you get through the poor and cold food, and understaffed situation.
I had the fired chicken on waffle, as a pass on my normally controlled diet. Hey, I was in NOLA. The chicken was mainly crust, underspiced and the waffle was not good. How can you screw up a waffle? By making it the night before???? Maybe.
My husband had some sort of poached egg thing that was a totally contrived combo that did not make culinary sense. There is no identity to the food here. Just a lot of drunk out of town people and overweight locals. This is not your place. Trust me. Keep looking.
Steven Montemarano
Great experience. This is how a restaurant should be run. Service was excellent; water was always refilled, wait staff was pleasant, and the manager was very attentive to all diners.
Thoroughly enjoyed our food, highly recommend.
Dahiana Perez
This place is PERFECTION. If you are looking to have an amazing experience, great food, impeccable service, you must come here. Sarah and Destiny, (both my waiters) really made my experience an unforgettable one. Thank you ladies, you both are one of a kind. To the rest of the staff who also took care of me and my partner, thank you!
Tania
I came here on our last day for Sunday Brunch. It was awesome! I soooo loved it. I asked to be seated in the outside courtyard area and was glad I did. It wasn't very crowded outside so it gave a more intimate setting, that and everyone wanted to sit inside (thank God). I got the bottomless mimosas. Oh man, I must have had like 7 of those puppies. I also got the stuffed french toast with rasberries or some red fruit (its the mimosas I swear) and it was phenomenal!! I would come back in a heartbeat. Service was awesome and everyone was attentive and genuinely friendly. I had chosed this spot primarly because the day prior I toured the Hermann-Grimm mansion and got a peak of the courtyard which at one point all belonged to this old mansion...and was sold! I wish I came here for a dinner date too. ...till next time Broussards...! ;-)
Sharon Man
Decent food (citrus, avocado salad and black drum fish), small-ish portions, brusque/MIA service. The wait staff did not take come by to take our drink orders for 20 minutes. Nice courtyard. We had a large party so maybe it was very challenging to serve us?
Shelley MacLachlan
This place is amazing! Service, food, drinks are all top notch. Went for jazz brunch and had the $12 unlimited mimosas and they kept them coming! Definitely go to this place and enjoy the southern hospitality
Sarah Taylor
Came here on Father’s Day morning for brunch. Food and drinks were fantastic and our bartender Stephen was phenomenal. Great experience!
Glen Kroese
Nice fine dining with a great atmosphere. TheThere wine selection is great and the peanut butter mousse was delicious. The steak was good, but I was expecting more for the price range.
Tammy Hanson
The service was EXCELLENT! I had the rosemary chicken and my husband had the pork tenderloin. My chicken seemed a bit overcooked. Pork was spot on. I had Gazpacho for a starter, husband had salad. Both were good. Both desserts werevthe highlight though!!
megan nelson
What a great experience! The food was amazing, the service was 5 stars, Lionel and James were fantastic and the manager made an effort to check on us as well. Will definitely be back.
Denise Tague
Beautiful Resturant, EXCELLENT FOOD .Thank you Stephen and Brandt for superb service!!! Lots of SPECIAL events to come there as well: the Roaring 20's in March, the Sentimental time of the 1930's in April, and the Fabulous 40's in May!!! 1💚💛💜❤ …
John L
Thoroughly enjoyed the 1920s dinner they offered here. Our servers Eddie and Arina were fantastic, highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic New Orleans taste.
Adam S
Went for new years eve. They had a set menu that was pretty good. There was a baked rice thing with fried oysters that was delicious, but not a clue what it was called or if it was on the regular menu. It was expensive for NYE, not sure what it's like the rest of the year.
Tonnisha Bolian
I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, it was a very long wait for my food and when I received it,it was very cold. I hate to send food back because it always feels rude but I had to. The chef re-fired the order and personally brought it out. The food was great still. I give it 4 stars because of that.
Robert G
It was ok, nothing really special. We were actually a little disappointed given their reputation! It's annoying when you surf a lengthy wine list, finally make your selection, and then are informed that they don't actually have that wine. Guess what happened with my second choice of wine. Yep, same thing!
Von Zine
The goat cheese was different but the pork tenderloin was amazing!
Pamela Stanley
I always get the filet mignon when I'm staying in downtown NOLA. OMG. Coupled with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes, this dish is amazing. It's a very nice restaurant with a lot of history. The almond bread pudding is equally exquisite. It's a fancy restaurant, but they don't judge you for dragging yourself in for a good meal.
Susan Stephens
The food was amazing and the service excellent. Sadly, we were there for an intimate wedding brunch that was less elegant than hoped due to far too many bachelorette parties all put into the same room. Mgmt needs to be more savvy of the event being celebrated and locate the party accordingly.
Kristin Bingham
Best brunch experience I’ve had! Never saw the bottom of of my mimosa glass and the price is hard to beat for $12 bottomless. Great service and ambiance.
Food was also on point
josh moody
It was ok.......I wouldn't go again.....I expected better .......
Linda Watson
The food and drinks were delicious. I would absolutely recommend reservations, but plan for a to spend sone time there. We were there for 3 hours. Service was slow. Staff was attentive and polite. Just slow, but we all felt the food was worth the time.
Suheir Zouein
The eggs benedict was a big disappointment. My husband's fish was out of this world, the bread pudding (complimentary for his birthday) was delicious. The 4 stars was mainly for the fish.
Shay H
Hidden gem of a happy hour! Drinks were great but small bites were served a little undercooked (center was cold). Overall still worth it for the ambiance and friendly staff and I’d definitely recommend this place!
Rick Dallas
It was ok. Because it was a Jan 1st, there menu was extremely limited and unremarkable in taste and texture. Service was outstanding, kitchen missed the mark.

The food and service was amazing! The atmosphere is very laid back, and just what you need for brunch in New Orleans. We will be back.

Food was delicious! Wait staff was just ok, and had to wait 2 hours for our food to come. We seated at 8:30pm and didn’t get our food until 10:30pm! We had to complain in order to get the waiter to even check on our food. There were only 6-7 tables and they were just dwindling down...but yet our food wasn’t showing...only 3 stars from us!

We got lucky and got a reservation for lundi gras 2019 brunch. The service was amazing and truly unique. The food was the best I've had in New Orleans in the visits to the city. I highly reccomend booking a table.

My favorite restaurant in New Orleans. It still has the old school feel. The rooms are cool but the courtyard blows everything away. Can't wait to see what they do for their 100th anniversary next year. Make sure you ask for Chef Jimi.

The brunch was OUT OF THIS WORLD! It was exactly what I wanted. Courtyard dining, a 3 piece band, attentive servers, delicious food and a list of drinks that I need to go back for.

The food is AMAZING! They are very generous with the bottomless mimosas as well. Would definitely recommend the steak and eggs, the gumbo, and the Mr. Big Blue drink

We had a wonderful and safe dinner appropriately spaced from other guests dining at other tables. The service was superb and the food was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

FOOD: EXCELLENT. The steak and eggs are out of this world. Small, perfectly seasoned filet cooked to perfection, creamy soft-scrambled eggs. Nothing here tastes "meh."
SERVICE: Outstanding. A real team of hard-working pros who communicate well and are always on task. Kent at the bar is a master mixologist. Just tell him your poison and let the magic happen. He never disappoints.
AMBIANCE: Lovely. Cool, pale, airy. Patio dining for you heat lovers.
RECOMMEND: Brunch. Live jazz ensemble has a rich, mellow sound. All the foods. All of them.

We ate brunch here for a bacherotte party weekend. The bottomless mimosa were literally bottomless, our glasses were never empty. Everyone’s food was delicious! Ellen, Michal, and Darnell were great and went above and beyond to make things perfect! Absolutely recommend Broussard’s for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Great food, service & entertainment.

I loved my visit to this restaurant. West and Dillon gave us A1 serves and they really made us feel comfortable and welcome. Never had to ask for refills and the manager came out and greeted us. I will most definitely be coming back.

I've been cooking for 10 years. I'm a native and have worked in several restaurants. Everyone was a different experience of course. I've been with Brossaurd's for about 6 months, and I can honestly say that I'm apart of a F'r'amily respectful, funny and the resilience that every individual that works there contains...It's never a dull moment, and I love every moment of creating art "ie" succulent dishes and clowning with the front of the house. Get food great people great times!!!!

First back in 43 years! Chef Jamie created a wonderful tour of epicurean delights that would tickle the most discerning palates.
A Fabulous Dining Experience!

Went there for brunch and it was fancy and delicious! I'll definitely be going back on the next trip. They also had musicians playing at each table. Great experience!

I would give five stars for the service if possible.
We went to NOLA for Christmas week in 2011. I'd neglected to snare dinner reservations for Christmas Eve earlier in the year, and when I called Broussard's an extremely agreeable and pleasant lady helped us out by fitting us in if we'd arrive early. Wonderful experience. Fantastic service.

This restaurant is great. The service is wonderful. The food is fantastic. The staff are knowledgeable and can/are willing to assist with questions about anything on the menu. It's close to Bourbon Street as well.
Yuwen Bagui
The service in this place was impeccable. Food was delicious and the unlimited mimosas is better and actually cheaper than other places. The live music (strings) made our dining experience very pleasant.

I've always considered this place to be a little overlooked. Unbelievable setting. Excellent food with attentive service. Always walk out happy.

Overall a great experience, and a very good $19.20 meal. The cold soup with tuna tartar, I was greatly looking forward to, unfortunately it fell short. The shrimp toast, however, and the pork, were, shut-up good!

Celebrated a friend’s 30th Birthday at Broussard during brunch and the experience was every bit of amazing. Service was over the top thanks to Daruis, Dillan, Max and lona. The brunch menu is full of delicious choices and to top off the experience we enjoyed the great band as they played to wish a beautiful Happy Birthday. If you are looking for an awesome elegant restaurant Broussard is it.

This is a hidden gem! Beautiful inner courtyard dining space steps off of Bourbon. Our bartender Rachel was an absolute sweetheart, full of NOLA insights. Plus, she loves James Booker.
Tiffaney McClendon
A friend insisted I go to Broussard's while in NOLA. He raved about the chicken and waffles. He was not wrong on either count. If you are in New Orleans, you must visit Broussard's. The service, atmosphere, and food cannot be missed! I recommend brunch, but you do what works for your schedule. Just be sure you find your way there at some point. You won't regret it.

We we're here, 30 minutes at the bar then 30 minutes at the table before a waiter asked if we were ok. NO. How about some service. Half of the tables are empty. Hire some cooks and waiters. When the food did arive,I had to change the stars, delicious.
Chelsea East
Awesome service. Food was delicious just kinda pricey for such small meals. Wasn't too full when we left though, so that's good! $12 bottom less mimosas on Sunday though!!
Jane R
Amazing experience with my son today. Service manager Alicia went above and beyond to make is feel welcome on an impromptu visit. We would definitely be back.

Fried chicken and waffles on a Saturday during Jazz Brunch really hit the spot. Rita, my bartender, was amazing. This is definitely a place to check out while in New Orleans.
Jack Taylor
The food was delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. We especially liked the stuffed French toast and chicken and waffles, and of course the bottomless mimosas for brunch.
Morgan Smith
The courtyard atmosphere was bliss on a warm sunny afternoon. The burger on the brunch menu was delicious. Service was very good. Staff was friendly

The service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent. Topped it off with an absolutely delicious Bananas Foster prepared right at the table. Can't wait to return!

Good service, good food and a jazz band! Went for the first time for Brunch amd we enjoyed it. We felt a bit ignored by the champagne service, but eventually he came around.
Susan Gordley
We were pleasantly surprised with the creative quality of the classic dishes. The serving size was perfect. The food delicious. The service was excellent.
Carsten Tolkmit
Very good food, upscale atmosphere and nice, but sometimes very casual staff. But we enjoyed our time there a lot. The pork loin chop was great and the drum was delecious.
Ben Kaslon
Extremely nice atmosphere. Well kept fancy bar. I was way underdressed. I wish I had wore at least a sports jacket. Food is amazing though. Would highly recommend the happy hour.
Reed Paskvan
Wonderful restaurant. Went to the bar, staffed by a skilled bar tender. Google maps won't let me post videos of them making the drinks.
Adele Reiter
Absolutely amazing experience. Live music, incredible food and service. Try the chicken and waffles!
