Reviews of Boil Seafood House

We came on a Friday night and the place had an hour wait. Luckily we got seats at the bar and the young waitress/bartender was so sweet and helpful. My husband doesn’t eat seafood she helped him with his order. I had the crab legs. The seasoning and sauces were so good. He had the shrimp all delicious. We also had some cocktails which were good. It’s has good food and drinks great spot
The Chef
I’ve been here a few times but this time I went oh my where to start! I’ll start with the appetizer I mean it was delicious I really enjoy cheese on my oysters so that wasn’t a biggie, next my Top Shelf Margarita was outstanding.
The Head Chef/ kitchen manager Erika was very professional coming to the front of house greeting the tables asking us how was our food. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ To her. Overall my Cajun Classic was fresh steamy and flavorful! By far the best spot to drink, and peel your local boiled seafood that has lots of flavor! I’ll be back!

We were a little neglected by our waitress.. but the cook came out to greet and check on us and the hostes was a big help too.. I found the flavor to be bland in the pasta.. however my crabs shrimp and such were seasoned... it's just not for me.. I'm used to the garlic taste and this was other spices and ... maybe even cinnamon?? It's not horrible! It's just not for me..

This cajun seafood boil had all the flavor you want in a Louisiana seafood boil and did not disappoint! So much garlic in the garlic butter which I loved. We got a level 1 spicy level but could have gone way higher if you like it on the spicy side. The crab cakes were decent. The service was very fast!

Loved our server (can’t remember her name but she was wearing a ponytail and mentioned her daughter - the sweetest!) and the food was yummy! For ~$50 for a pound of shrimp and pound of snow crag legs + 2 potatoes, 2 corn & 1 sausage, it was a good deal, just expected more shrimp but nonetheless amazing food and a short 10 min wait! Oysters were delicious and fresh. The boil house sauce was the best part ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place was legendary!! Such amazing food and service! It was so good my friend and I went twice in a row. We got the crawfish bread, crawfish boil with house butter, snow crab legs, mussels, and drinks. To say it’s amazing is an understatement! Our server even gave us a demonstration on how to open the shells to maximize the meat.

Another great seafood experience! A lot of options. Probably one of the few that serve crawfish so early in the season. Some of the pieces were a little expensive for the quality. Not everything was the freshest and we could taste it.
Good to try

My fiancée and I visited New Orleans for my brothers 21st birthday. While roaming around, we visited Boil Seafood House and had the best experience thanks to Felix! He explained the menu and consistently checked on us. I waited for about 3 years and never reached the level of wholesomeness I experienced from Felix. Thank you mate. I’ll be back solely because of how awesome you are.

Love, love, love!!!! We shared the "House" bucket... 1 lb each snow crab, crawfish, and shrimp. Came with corn on the cob, potatoes and sausage... The atmosphere was great! Very friendly staff, casual and comfortable. I'm in my happy seafood afterglow...

The food was pretty good and reeasonable for the amount. The lobster on each platter was reeeaaally over cooked. The seasoning on the house boil was great. I would recommend giving it a try. It was 179.00 without drinks for 3 of us.

We have had the worst luck finding good restaurants in New Orleans. BOIL was our first success and it was really fantastic! There was a bit of a wait- totally worth it. The food was phenomenal. Huge portions. The drinks were STRONG. Great atmosphere. Great staff. We will be back!

First time eating in NOLA and it was really good. Didn’t like my po boy that much, was hoping it wouldn’t be as dry. The wings were SO good. I could eat them all day. Great prices
Joey Allen
We really enjoyed the Boil Seafood House. The seafood is delicious and well priced.
- Great seafood and crawfish. 🦞🦐
- Service was too understaffed. 😰
- Great prices.💲
Overall: Would go again 🤤

We ordered the cajun seafood bucket, shrimp bopoy and creole pasta. The bucket was delicious with the boil house flavor. The poboy was good too. The pasta was ok, as it was more soupy side than the traditional italian pasta we know but had alot of flavors though. Our waiter was nice too.

One of the best crawfish boils I've had!
They have plenty of options to choose from if you go the build your own route; or you can opt for the preselected buckets (FYI: no substitutions on these) and choose your seasoning and spice level.
We started off with the Bayou Rolls as an appetizer and it was just the right portion size and packed with flavor. The dipping sauce complimented it well.
For the main meal, I went with The Taste of New Orleans bucket with the boil house seasoning and medium heat (which was just right!). It was the right choice! You get a large portion of crawfish, shrimp and blue crab and the typical sausage, corn and potato.
The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. If you're in the area, stop in for some delicious food!

We were passing by and decided to stop at this place for late lunch. We ordered Cajun sea boil. It was delicious! The only thing i would suggest they should add more corn and potatoes to at least the dishes that are over $100. We ordered a feast for $115 and it came with 1 corn sliced in half and 1 small potato.
Corey Spearman
Absolutely delicious! 💯 😋 I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, but would strongly suggest making a reservation. We were told there'd be a 20-30 minute wait on a Wednesday night... an hour and twenty minutes later we were still waiting.
Good food is worth the wait!
Liralen Li
Exactly as advertised. Pick your seafood, pick a seasoning set, and have at it. The results were delicious and beautifully local. There's something so satisfying about just digging in with both hands, and they cheerfully supply all you need to just dig in.

Customer service was bomb throughout the night! The bartender manager, USMC vet, was a hoot especially since I’m a USAF vet..the vibes were playful and great! It took a minute to order but overall, we didn’t mind the wait due to catching up. The house special mixture for the seafood was really good and yummy! I will definitely return for the kind crabs and snow crabs along with the house special mixture. There is inside and outside seating to suit what you prefer. The location is literally on the corner of Magazine so drive slowly when nearing the light.

the best Cajun seafood I ever had!!! Very different from other chain store competitors! Worth a visit. It’s a bit off downtown tho. be careful about the neighbourhood, better take a taxi over.
Mikey Dee
This place has the most amazing seafood with an extensive list. The service is outstanding Crawfish outta this world
The smiles... the glow of the staff... #woooow. The chef "Big Easy" and The staff "Lil Breezy" are definitely worth mentioning. Phenomenal service Not enough words... Just skip the mess and start out here. #BestofTheBest

The atmosphere was calm and quiet. I liked that. My husband came from out of state about 6 hours away on a sporadic trip. We’ve never been able to make to New Orleans and this was our chance. Although it wasn’t crawfish season, The Boil Seafood House had good garlic butter flavored crawfish on the menu, which I ordered and on my so satisfying. My hubby had the Combo and loved it as well as a side of Calamari, which was as good as it comes. Our server was amazing and kept checking up on us and had our cups always filled. He did an amazing job! Our first meal experience in New Orleans and we enjoyed every minute. I would have given a 5 but I was not able to get live crawfish but there’s always next time. Oh and PS, wow we got sit upstairs. That was interesting for us. Loved the picnic tables we sat on. Gave the feel of eating outdoors and comfortable.

The reason I gave 3 star is because their food is good tasting when they had it right. But be careful if you don't know seafood you may get a bad batch. I am big fan of seafood, especially crabs. Went into BOIL, ordered char grilled crab with shrimp. Shrimp is good. Crab, not so much. Probably being in freezer for a while or maybe left out without being refrigerated. Opened the one leg shell and the meat is yellow and shrinking, perfect sign of not so fresh crab. Talk to the waitress, Teresa, who says she doesn't know crab and maybe because blue crab is different from dungeon crab. Excuse me?? They are all crabs! Manager came out and promised that was the only bad batch in the kitchen, offered me a whole new plate. This time, crab is delicious, juicy, white, and plumping meat in the shell. Now if you don't know seafood much, look at my first photo, if it doesn't look like that or too far away, ask for a new one.

If you're looking for a great low country boil in New Orleans, look no further. Run to BOIL Seafood House. I think the thing that sets this place aside from the rest is that they provide the option to have your crab legs grilled. I've never seen that option on a menu, so I had to try it. And I'm so glad that I did! I ordered the chargrilled snow crab platter....OMG. It was smothered in garlic, parmesan butter (you can never have too much garlic, IMO) and so delicious. Honestly I was worried that the legs were going to be over since they were precooked and then still had to be put onto the grill, but they were cooked to PERFECTION. And the shrimp were just as yummy and also cooked perfectly. The snow crab platter was just the right amount of side of shrimp (5 pieces) and one corn and potato. When extracting the crab meat, you get the charred taste and flavor on your hands which then gets onto the meat. It's such a different flavor when it hits the sweet crab meat and it all just works so well together. HIGHLY recommend the chargrilled style.
The atmosphere was down-to-earth and I liked the picnic style seating. Seems like a great place for the family or a group of friends. Our server was attentive and very nice.
FYI - the Boil House flavor isn't your typical crab boil flavor. It's Caribbean/spiced (not to be confused with spicy) with a hint of cinnamon and allspice flavor instead of your typical garlic/old bay flavor. It wasn't bad, but wasn't for me so I asked asked for an extra side of the garlic butter. Additionally photoed - the snow crab boil with Boil House flavor and the blue crab boil with Boil House flavor.
Savitri Balram
Tasty seafood boil. Slightly overpriced. Horrible front of the house person. Rude and didn't even bother to seat us, despite there being empty tables. We were told to wait 20 minutes outside for no reason.

Wow! What a feast. I sorta stumbled into BOIL while deciding on somewhere for dinner and I’m glad that I did. The location is great right on the corner of Magazine and Louisiana. I was dining solo so I got a seat at the bar and was taken care of by a really terrific bartender called Blake who made sure that I had a cold beer at all times. I ordered the Cajun boiled head-on shrimp and boy-oh-boy was it good. They were spicy and flavorful and big. I definitely played myself by asking for bread to soak up the sauce left on the plate! It was mostly chili oil and pepper and who knows what but it was HOT. Fortunately the heat hadn’t transferred to the shrimp too much because I might not have been able to enjoy it as much! The staff were all very cool and friendly and the food was terrific. Definitely a place to go if you’re looking for great seafood.

The food was awesome. I had the Cajun boil which is shrimp and crawfish with medium heat and it's everything I wanted in a boil. I ate way more than I planned on because it was so good. Also had the Crawfish beignets which were just okay. Paired the boil with a Ghost in the Machine IPA from Parish brewing and it was a beautiful dinner in a laid back environment. The server was great as well. Highly recommend.

Service was good, and there was a wide variety on the menu at a decent price. We really enjoyed our meal at this establishment. We had the boil house option for seasoning on our seafood and it was absolutely delicious also paired well with their bread all in all wonderful meal!
Chad Nuber
Amazing food. First seafood boil in Louisiana and it did not disappoint. Everything was cooked perfectly, we got the combination sauce which was delicious, and we splurged and got king crab legs for the first time. So good, pricey but good!
Vlad Misura
If you go here just for the seafood platters, great place to be. Everything else we had, wasn't so great. The hostess was extremely rude and entitled and even tried calling us liars. Drinks left things to be desired. Small room upstairs smelled like puke.
Qi Zhou
Server was real friendly! Price was reasonable and it was a real treat. Everything was delicious. We got the feast that includes everything. Only flaw is that it could be a little less salty. But the spiciness was on point.
Jennifer Snyder
First off, our waiter JoJo was by far the best server we had our entire trip! He was fun, energetic, and very informative about his menu, the city, and other restaurants. The oysters on the half shell were super cold and fresh. Good gumbo with a slight hint of spice and packed with shrimp, crab, crawfish, and sausage. I had the Taste of New Orleans with Cajun seasoning, no spice (because I'm a weenie). The shrimp were huge with a slight sweetness, the crawfish were small but tender and still worth the work to get that tail, the andouille sausage had a bit of spice but was packed with that salty goodness, and the blue crab were sweet and flaky. The potatoes and corn topped off this entree and everything sat soaked in the buttery seasoning. The only thing I would have added to this dish was some crusty French bread so I could have soaked up the juice. My husband had the Seafood Alfredo and it was rich, creamy, and included huge grilled shrimp. Very very good if you are weird and feel the need to eat pasta when you go to a boil house like my hubs!
If your mouth isn't watering by now then just look at the pictures! Don't miss this place if you visit NOLA...and ask for JoJo! This will be at the top of our list when we visit again.

Delicious po-boy sandwich, fresh bread. The craw fish plate was tasty, the king crab was over priced. They didn’t have oysters & the shrimps were not fresh.
Reggie Pierre
Great food and view of this area of New Orleans. Servers were very attentive and made suggestions of their favorite dishes.
Elizabeth T.
Came hungry and left happy. Exactly what I wanted from a Cajun boil. We came with a large party and they made sure to seat us quickly and outdoors on the deck.
Amy Oogii
Service was great and the food was delicious what more could you ask for?
Got the crawfish and snow crab legs with the boil sauce and medium spicy. Looooove the sauce! And the spice level, even at medium it was pretty darn spicy, but I loved it.
Also got the oysters, I really liked their cocktail sauce! Nice sweet with a little bit of kick without being overly spicy.
Vicki Tasiopoulos
Amazing food and incredible service by JoJo. We had the Cajun classic bucket and charbroiled oysters which were delicious! Highly recommend.
Jay Stegall
This place is nothing short of excellent. My wife and I had a catfish basket, and we also had a bucket. The bucket we chose was "The Shack!", This bucket was so delightful!! We decided to get the cajun flavor. As for the level of heat, we went with the medium. I have to tell you that was the perfect balance of both spice and flavor!! Also, it is essential to note that we have food left over. The serving portion are more than enough, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the food.
Don't forget the drink as well. We had a nice strong beverage served up by our waitress at the bar, and she did not disappoint. Word on the street is she specializes in hurricanes. You can thank me later!
The only picture I could take was one from the bathroom. I thought it was pretty neat they repurposed a keg into a urinal. Some may find it nasty; I find it pretty creative! My only regret is I didn't get more pictures of our food.
Claude Banks
Love the outside view. Positivity from all staff. Edward was funny, attentive, and a suggestive seller other than a order taker. Abby had the smile that I’m sure lit the room!

Was here 2023 first New Year meal! Had to drive from Houston TX to New Orleans LA. Probably one of the most delicious seafood place I have ever eaten. It can get quite expensive. Do not buy their family plate for 4. Unfortunately, the price bump from 35 to 125 do not justify. The king crab legs, blue crab, and lobster were mediocre in size and taste. Go with the shrimp and craywfish plate. I purchase both and regret paying too much for little change in happiness. You'll be happier with the smaller plate x 3 and it's delicious.
Stephanie Owens
I had the hot flavored crab boil, service was amazing. Food is definitely a different hot I come from Arizona so the spice is definitely a change. But overall absolutely amazing place would go there again in a heartbeat!
Claire McMahon
I went there for dinner with my family of five on a Thursday and it was very busy. We had a reservations so we got seated right away, but I overheard that the wait was 30 minutes. The table was clean and our hostess and server were both very nice and welcoming. I ordered the Bayou Rolls and they were very good, I would definitely recommend them. As someone who does personally love the texture of crawfish or shrimp these were great. The rolls also came with a dipping sauce that was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Two of my family members split the Cajun Classic Seafood Bucket, both of them loved it. Although they both wished there would be more than one sausage piece. Another member got the Bang Bang Shrimp and also enjoyed them. The last member of my family got the Swamp Bites, but he did not like them. He is a picky eater though so I would not put that much weight into his opinion. Another member tried one, liked it, and said it tasted like chicken. The fries were also very good, they were just normal fries but they were both fluffy and crispy. We also ordered a french roll, but the order only came with one, so unless you really want bread I would not recommend. The last item we ordered was the Voodoo Rice, and although I did not personally try it other members of my family enjoyed it.

It was a Great experience to satisfy my lobster craving and we were also well taken care . Outstanding service by Kishor just helped us to finish our meal with a smile on our face.
Dallin Yarrington
Get your Cajun on. If you want some good Cajun food but want to avoid the French quarter then this is a great place to go. Great food.
Abby Shaffer
We, my husband and I, got there around 7 and there was no wait, and we were sat promptly. We ordered and got food pretty quick. The crab legs and shrimp were amazing, we had them cooked in the Cajun mix. We ordered extra potatoes and some bread along with our food. It all cost under $75 and the quality was definitely there. It fed the two of us and we were stuffed. Definitely would visit again if we were to come back.
Gorgeous Jay
The wait was a hour in a half. But the seafood was good. The Blue crabs was the best. The voodoo rice needs a lil more seasoning but it does have a spicy kick to it. Pat was our waitress and she was absolutely the Best. She made sure we had everything we needed without even asking. Her work ethic is a 💯. Overall our experience was great besides the wait time.
Hanan M'barki
If you are around new orleans I suggest to try this restaurant. It is a busy place and the wait might take more than hour. I was in a rush so I decided to sit at the bar, I ordered a green salad, a dozen of giants oysters which were baked with parmesan cheese and also comes with toasted garlic frensh baguette, the oysters were so meaty and tasty, also I had ordered a seafood mixed boiled platter(snow crab legs, shrimp, corn...) with the sauce on the side because I do not prefer the overwhelming sauce over my seafood. Overall, the service and food were on point.
Rob Durbin
Expensive, but very much worth it. Food was delicious, service was great, drinks were strong. Will absolutely be back!

I’m in from out of town. Wanted to go here for a year now! I am happy I made the time. I would highly recommend setting a reservation. We arrived and were immediately seated however there was a long time at the door. Food was great. I like the flavors in their boil. I did wish there was more in the servings because it was so tasty. I would definitely revisit in a future trip.

The food is great. The mussels were fresh and the crab was delicious. Our sides came out fresh too. Our waitress, Christina, was not as good. She missed a lot of our order and didn't bring us our drinks until we were halfway through. We waited long for our refills which she took care of after dealing with another table (while chatting with them and not looking our direction). The manager ended up bringing us our refills. She seemed aloof.
Mrwhosethesus
WE LOVED THIS RESTAURANT!! The food was great , the waiter (Ms. Pat) was so friendly and nice, she recommended us many great food option. Definitely try here if you ever come to New Orleans!!
Lara Schrimpshire
My family loved the seafood items they got but for me who doesn't like seafood I got the chicken strips and they were very plan tasting. We loved the atmosphere and the employees were nice and helpful. All in all we would go back and is worth a visit if you are visiting New Orleans.
Patrick Mulvaney
Kacey was incredible!!! Henry was a pro at recommendations. Atmosphere is so fun and laid back. Food is worth every dollar!!! Ask for a Painkiller!!!! Soooooo good
Sonya Sparrow
The best thing about this spot was the staff— they’re all super friendly and nice, the food was okay, bit bland for my taste but not bad. The decor was nice overall and felt relatively cozy despite the size
Kristina S
Food, service and drinks were good. Nothing spectacular, but enjoyable for my first ‘boil’ restaurant!
Kirk Mackey
The food was amazing!! Some the best in New Orleans! The crawfish, crab, and shrimp in The House were cooked to perfection. Only four stars for the service. We had to ask for refills and to pay the bill twice.
Chavon Panton
Very tasty food. I traveled all the way to this house to get a good seafood boil and they did not disappoint. Their spice levels are more on the spicier side. So watch out for that if you do not love spice. It’s at a great location too on Magazine street.
JoAnn Fritch
Really enjoy the food at Boil. We have gone twice and it's always great. The only complaint I had is you have to pay extra for the potatoes and corn and all you get is one potato and two mini ears of corn. Not much. However, the crawdads are excellent and the butter and garlic sauce rocks!!
Kory Leung
Great tasting Louisiana southern style seafood with plenty of flavour and lots of garlic. Recommend not wearing white haha.
Bonnie Baumgras
This is a really fun and colorful place! We ordered the Gator Bites appetizer and the Gulf Shrimp. We were a little nervous to try alligator but it was quite good. The breaded seasonings were mostly what we tasted. There was a good amount of Gator Bites in our serving. The shrimp was amazing!! We had the butter and garlic flavoring and loved every bite! We highly recommend this restaurant.
Leonel Martinez
I love the service, Eduardo was an amazing server and he speaks Spanish! Food was amazing and great vibe!!
Tiger Steimle
Delicious food and great service! Enjoyed the chill atmosphere and colorful walls.
JonnS2K
Was in town for the weekend and made it out to this location, the food was superb, where the issue comes into play is afterwords. I was charged 10 dollars over my tab on my account for no reason, left a cash tip for my server and a few days later i see a charge greater than what I signed my receipt for.
Other than that I hope this gets resolved because I would’ve love to come back here when I’m in town again.
Serenity C
The best seafood boil I've ever had! Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. They also offer a full bar. Cocktail selections on the menu are pretty nice. They do offer a whole lobster in one of their seafood buckets. My only complaint is that the lobster wasn't cleaned out. Restrooms are pretty clean which is always a plus. Definitely somewhere I will revisit when in town.
Kristin Christoffersen
Best boil we have ever had! We chose crawfish and shrimp with Cajun medium sauce. Just the right amount of flavor and spice. The waiters were also terrific, always kept our drinks topped off and checked on us.
Florentina Bettendorf
Had a great experience here! Husband has some food allergies and they were so kind and helped us be confident he could safely eat there. The head on shrimp were our favorite! Will definitely go here again.
Moneshia Davis
Sat at the bar and had me a drink. It was a lil pricey but I enjoyed it! Food and environment, I will be back. U cant eat in there if your not vaccinated by the way.

My rating: 4.8! The Cajun sauce is a bit salty!
Other than that, everything is great! The service is great! Seafoods are really good and fresh! Corns are the big plus! Since they absorb the sauce and makes it very flavorful!
像吃国内的小龙虾似得!We ordered the 42 dollars meal! Enough for two person!
Highly recommend it!
billy bob
The char-grilled oysters were the best! We ordered 3 dozen. Way better than Drago. Seafood Boil was flavorful and hats off to the server for recommending garlic butter and Cajun with just the right amount kick to it.

Seafood is a stable in New Orleans & you can't go wrong with Boil Seafood House. They have every different type of seafood with several flavors to coat! Here's a photo of their snow crabs, crawfish, shrimp, corn, & potatoes all coated in their Boil House seasoning!
Definitely go give it a try & see their sister store on Carrolton!

As a local, finding a seafood spot that makes an impact is rare, but Boil hit the spot! Friendly staff and the food was delicious. Unique seasoning. Not as cheap as doing a boil on the weekend with friends, but a solid place to bring out of town friends or to enjoy a special occasion.

Our small group (3 people) were unable to get in at another restaurant so we chose to try Boil Seafood House. I called to see if they were accepting walkins. The hostess answered promptly and was very professional. Parking around Magazine street is very tricky. There are several eating establishments nearby and finding a legal place to park took some time. Masks are mandatory and customers must wait outside until called. There is only a small 3-person bench to wait available inside. The hostess did offer immediate seating at the bar, but we chose to wait the estimated 20 minutes for a table. The restaurant does not provide table menus so customers need to scan the QR code or pull up the menu from the website. Felix, our server, was attentive and very patient while we tried to figure out what we wanted to eat. We just missed the happy hour so if drinks are important go early. We tried the zombie cocktail and it was very good. The food came out very quickly and hot. The crawfish balls were excellent. The fried platter was just ok. The charbroiled platter with shrimp, snow crab legs, potato and corn was tasty but skimpy for the price. Overall, our first visit was good. Go before 6pm for happy hour drink prices. Customer service was good, and prompt. This location is very small. We may try the new location at Carrollton and Tulane ave which is a lot bigger.

I ordered togo tonight and thought it was really good. Crab was seasoned well and perfectly cooked. Potato and corn on the side were buttery and delicious. Doesn’t have the best reputation with locals but decided to try it anyway. I’m glad I did.
Melissa Andrade
Please make sure to make a reservation before coming because they are very busy. The food was delicious! Worth the price! The staff was excellent! Make sure not to wear white because you will get dirty. Definitely coming back!

10/10 best boil we’ve eaten. Split The Feast with 4 adults and we all left stuffed!
Kalia Montgomery Montez
The BEST spot to get seafood boil in New Orleans 😚👌 delicious! Medium boil house sauce was kickin and delicious!! Crab, mussels, corn and potatoes were fantastic. Price by the pound by itself is a bit high, but to split the feast between 2-3 was perfect.
Joshua Varon
First time there, first boil wasn’t sure if I was going to like it. I had the shrimp
Boil hot and Cajun it wasn’t really spicy but flavorful. Was able to enjoy the meal had a rum and coke which was good too.
John B
Great food and well priced for what you get! I was sat on the balcony which seemed like a good idea at the time but once the clouds moved away I was thankful I had on enough sunscreen. Our waiter struggled to remember our table. I’m not sure if he was new or just not used to having someone outside but we had to ask other wait staff for help a few times. All of them were very kind and helpful and I very much plan on going back.

This place is a gem....if u can eat outside upstairs, I literally crawl thru a window...seasoned well cooked well and generous portions what we ordered is as follows; two non alcoholic drinks, gumbo, charboiled oysters ,and taste of new orleans medium hot...ambiance and great locale included...72 dollars with taxes and its more then enough for 2 people..u will not be disappointed. Enjoy

The crawfish and blue crabs here are to die for!! Honestly, the food is incredible here. The crabs had plenty of head cheese. 😍😍 The crawfish are fat and juicy. The drinks are so-so but the quality and the price of the food are unbeatable.
I like their house sauce with my blue crab. I recommend it. Next time I go, of definitely get the gulf shrimps (with the heads on, of course).
I would make a reservation if you are the type to plan ahead. We sat outside and it was great--but not so if you are squeamish about the heat and the humidity.

Went here for my girls birthday dinner. Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had in New Orleans in awhile. Food 10/10. Currently taking dine in & take out orders!
On street parking. Drinks were good. Extensive wine / drink menu was a definite plus! TVs& music for entrainment. Consider me a regular!
Update : IT IS IMPERATIVE TO BOOK A RESERVATION AND OR CALL PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL. This place has gained serious popularity and the last thing you want to do is have to suffer a long wait. Food & drinks are still consistent. My only annoyance are the files and gnats that bother you the entire time . Lmao!

Great food with a fun atmosphere! I could have eaten here every night during my vacation. I highly recommend trying them out, you won't regret it.
Marissa Sarnacki
You must order the crawfish etouffee, so much flavor and the cup size is a generous portion. The fried shrimp and fries were okay, you're not missing anything by not ordering it. The alligator bites and the side house salad are good. The New Orleans chargrilled oysters are really good, so long as they don't come out burned and smelling of fire. Definitely give this place a try if you find yourself in the neighborhood.
T D
Good flavor, but the shrimp is not fresh enough when I dine in.
Angel Goffney
This food was absolutely delicious! It's a little pricey but definitely worth it in flavor. 😩😩😩 I don't even like oysters but these were really good!!! The seafood was fresh, juicy, and tender. I got the flavor boil house (which I believe is a mixture of all the flavors) and i got medium spice level. I can't take heat so this one was just enough. If you want to taste authentic new orleans seafood go here. Its the best hands down!!! But if you're afraid of flavor go somewhere else thats hella watered down. But trust good, the food is as good as the picture looks.😍

The crawfish boil was amazing, so much flavour and decadence. The house sauce is one of the best ones I've tasted. The crawfish étouffé was nothing too fancy, very good and tasty but I have had better. My only complaint was that the customer service could be improved a bit. When we sat down, no one came to check on us and take our orders until we had to call someone 10 something minutes later. They then mixed up our orders for the level of spice in our crawfish boil which we didn't really mind. We didn't get the bibs other customers had or the bread to dip until we had to ask for it. Nothing too dramatic, I was just a bit cranky from being hungry. The prices were good too. Great place!

Stop in at this place! This is great food, a great atmosphere and an old timey building.
Mane Morales
I had a Chargrilled dungenes, it was AMAZING. Espectacular favor
I was attended by Edward, perfect service... He was super patient explaining me how to get the most of the dish and how to eat it. His cocktails are the best! Recommended for sure!

The portions are a lot smaller than you would expect, but the food was delicious and flavorful. The char boiled oysters were good, crabs and shrimp were just the right amount of spicy, and the sauce with the crawfish beignets was great.
Nichole Calhoun
This was my first visit to this seafood house and it was amazing! We ordered a shrimp po boy and the bucket with 1lb of headless shrimp, 1lb of snow crabs, sausage, corn, and potatoes flavored with garlic butter. It was delicious! Next time I'm ordering more heat.
Gerald Conlu Alava
The food was amazing and service from Al was excellent(2 Al’s in the restaurant, Al with tats served us). After trying other restaurants in the French Quarter, we were disappointed with the food. So we have to good back to Boil Seafood House to correct it, before going back to NY. Again the food was delicious and the service from Justin and Emily was excellent. We judge the food if the food makes us happy. The food here definitely make us happy.
Annette H
This was our first visit and thoroughly enjoyed the Crawfish Etouffe and everyone in our party loved their meals. Our server, Layden, was so helpful and explained everything on the menu.

Unexpected find walking down Magazine Street. So many choices and the review weren't too good but we took a chance. Once in the restaurant, we were seated quickly. There was no wait but we were early. The crowd grew while we were there. It was a little chaotic at first as the ordering system went down.
Now to the food. We had a dozen of chargrilled oyster for starter and we share the Bayou boil to share by two. We ordered the medium which was plenty spicy. They were good! Washing the spice off with a pint of Blue Moon was perfection. I'm not sure why the reviews were so mixed but we had a great experience. By checking in on Yelp, we got free dessert. We got the King Cake and Chocolate Mousse cake. We loved the Chocolate Mousse cake.
The atmosphere was excellent with all kinds of crowd on a Friday evening. By the time we were leaving, there was a huge waiting crowd. Come here early
SC Bisconti
We had such a wonderful experience. The boil pot sauce was so flavorful, and a large portion to share.
Our only complaint was that we ordered a special and added an order of king crab legs to the pot causing the price to rise to the same amount of the large $99 shareable pot. If we would have known, we would have gotten that one instead for the variety. If only the server would have mentioned it.
Patrick Wang
Can’t give this place enough stars! Everything is excellent. With a larger group, got the chargrilled oysters and large seafood boil with crawfish, shrimp, and snow crab. With just the 2 of us, got the chargrilled oysters and the Cajun Classic with shrimp and crawfish. Hearty portions. Do the Boil Sauce and get it medium - it’s just right spicy if you like some heat!
David Gamble
Wow, this is a must visit. First boil and manit was awesome food, value, atmosphere!
Savannah Rasmussen
Came to New Orleans hoping for a good crawfish broil--and this place exceeded my expectations! The staff is amazing and the artsy atmosphere makes you feel relaxed .
Mz.Thanh Le
We visited NOLA for 4 days and we ate at BOIL twice. Service was great and food was even better. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavor was even through out! I definitely recommend medium cajun and we got the fest plus some extra !
Brad Gause
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!
Sean was our server and very personable!
The food was awesome. Atmosphere perfect.
Was in town for work and was looking for something off the tourist scene. THIS IS IT
Maggie Jones
JoJo was a very informative and upbeat server and got us everything we needed quickly and made great recommendations. The food was great and the sauce flavor and heat level was perfect! Chargrilled oysters and swamp bites were wonderful.
Elisabeth Concepcion
Yasss. This was perfect outside the quarter and no rushing. Nice area to walk off the crawfish and French bread. Piere our server was just perfect. His recommendation for the drinks (Zombie), spice level, and selection were spot on. The staff were friendly and helpful. I went the day before my flight and was not disappointed ! The food is consistent and the staff were great. They wont steer you wrong.
Shawn Garthwaite
Worth the trip to uptown. The food was fantastic, seasoned well and definitely indicative of New Orleans flavors. The oysters chargrilled were cooked well along with the gumbo soup cup. Highly recommend a stop here.
Victor He
The food is good. But I regretted ordering the taste of new orleans combo because crawfish just meh. We ordered the lobster in garlic butter which was great. We tried the boil house sauce for the combo and it was too strong. The boil house is a combination of Cajun, Carribean, and garlic butter which I wasn't a fan of. The alligator bites were the bomb!
B Gray
I had 2 uber drivers suggest for us to go here. Looking around the area it seemed like the best option of getting all the seafood we like in one spot. The waitress we had was great with her suggestions on the menu, she also helped show us how to eat the craw fish. We had a great time. We tried the Dungeness crab for the first time and wow! It was amazing and the price was just right!
Miranda Mack-Delavallade
Delicious!!!! Made a reservation through Open Table. Remember that your entire party must be present to be seated! Great food and drink selection. My friends and I had a great time!
Steven Brandt
Great experience at BOIL! Service was awesome and the staff were very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and they even had crawfish even though it was out of season. Highly recommend stopping here.
Anna Marziliano
Friendly service, good atmosphere. Huge portions with great prices. Ordered the Cajun seasoning in very hot, and I am still thinking about that blend. Ordered the blue crab and crawfish - the flavors in the crawfish married perfectly with the Cajun spice. Fresh dipping bread with your order, and a thoughtful provision of crab bib, plastic gloves, and wetnaps. Wish I had tried the boil with traditional corn/sausage/potatoes, but even without, I couldn't finish my meal! 10/10, would love to return!
Nicolette Ramirez
Food was absolutely delicious and our waiter, Kishor, was the best. One of my favorite dining experiences in my NOLA trip
N H
Fantastic fresh seafood in the cozy neighborhood of New Orleans. The catch was all fresh and the waiter was a courteous and friendly chap. No gloves provided so you have to dig in with your bare hands. The very hot flavour was not that hot but my spice level is different from Americans. Dungeness crab had lots of meat and the lobster meat was sweet. Free parking on Louisiana avenue.
Matt Alvino
On first glance, this placed looked too polished to have a legit boil. Very clean and neat on the inside. Solid beer selection and we went with a pretty traditional seafood boil.
The boil itself was fantastic. Great taste, great spice. Ours had crawfish, shrimp, and crab. Could have had more andouille sausage and corn. We got the “hot” level of spice and really didn’t have an issue at all. Highly recommend.
ShanTelle Chanelle
This was my first boil and I loved it. This place was recommended by some folks in our hotel and it did not disappoint. The server was great, gave good recommendations, drinks were strong and tasty. You may want to go earlier in the day, as they were out of somethings, but nonetheless food was good!!
Mike Eaton
My wife and I have been going around NOLA trying a pound of crawfish everywhere to pick our favorite. We were walking magazine today and stopped into Boil.... Erica, our server, was the most incredibly kind and quintessential Cajun you could imagine. I tried to bribe her to record voice lines to replace Siri. The hurricane, great... the beer, wonderful... the crawfish..... Ho. Lee. Shiiiiiiiiiiiit.
This is my new haunt. I’m now renting an apartment close by, just to have these crawfish. Cajun. Medium. Magic. I’m having multiple foodgasms. They hit my g spot. And the g is for GOOOOOOOOD DAMN!
Kendra Torres
The food in my opinion was great, I personally love the seasoning and sauce. What my group of friends and I did not like was the roach that decided to be brave enough to peak his MF head out and walk across our damn table like he was about to join us. Please, please please, invest in an exterminator. I personally love my food but that really threw us all off!
P.S. the shrimp was over cooked and the shrimp they sent out to replace the overcooked shrimp was worse! The oysters 🦪 though, those were the bomb!!! 💣
Tara Littleton
We ordered gumbo and it was okay. The rice was a little undercooked but we were hungry and ate anyway. Lol Not a bad place!
Greg Finch
This is really a great find. Boiled seafood is not as easy to find in the Big Easy as you might think. The charbroiled oysters are the best in the city. BOIL has a fun, family friendly atmosphere. My grandchildren loved it. (Even the Men's room had a creative flair)
Edith Quintanilla
Crabs were awesome. Crawfish is ok. But a bit salty. Still too spicy for my taste even in the mild level. My other family members who eat spicy food regularly tried different flavors and still said it was too salty. Service is quick and good.
Megs
Man oh man oh man... This was some of the best seafood that I have had in New Orleans ever! I did the snow crab with the mixed sauce, it's the one that has a little bit of every sauce in it. I chose mild because I wasn't sure about the spiciness but I could have gone medium the mild has no spice at all just a lot of flavor. The crab was extremely fresh and super tasty. The garlic noodles were also very good. It has a very soft Ambience to it, so not like a typical New Orleans restaurant that is jumping with loud music and super high energy. I will definitely be back
Anna Yu
Gumbo was good but the snow crab legs boil were even better!! I got light spiciness and it was PERFECT! haven't had great seasoning in awhile. One of my top 3 to go places for seafood👌 …
Gem G.
The food was great. My friend was looking for authentic cajun boil so we gave this restaurant a try. The staff were nice and accommodating. A bit frustrated that the restaurant didn't reply on their page though (I lost my college ring there).
Sadie McMullen
Food was amazing!! I didn't expect the restaurant to be so small and the tables so close though, at one point crab juice went flying on the couple next to us. But besides the small space everything was excellent
Remy C
No.1 sea food place I’ve ever been to in New Orleans! The seafood is so fresh and juicy. Oysters are delicious as hell, the Cajun boiled seafood is wonderful, I got crawfish and blue crab, if you like spicy you can always ask for their chill powder! Btw the service was awesome, strong suggest if you just visiting New Orleans or even live here. Try this place you won’t regret!!!
Ana Cortes
Great place, very clean and friendly staff. Food was fantastic, the oyster are a must grilled on the half shell. My compliments to the chef and staff. We had a great experience I would definitely recommend making reservations in advance it gets crazy busy most nights.
Jay Molloy
My wife and I stopped in for an early dinner while biking down Magazine St., and we’re thrilled we did. We had one of our best meals yet on our visit to NOLA (and that’s saying a lot). We had the Alligator Sausage platter to start, and then went full bore on a bucket (see photos). Service was friendly, and we got a free dessert for checking in on Yelp. Ps - try the avocado mousse for a nice treat! THANK YOU!!!
KSW
The shrimp appetizers was better than the boiled food. The crawfish were tiny and lackluster. The boiled shrimp were good, but not great. The corn and potatoes were decent. The spring rolls were mediocre, they were lacking flavor; however, the shrimp app was delicious. The happy hour drink specials are smoke and mirror, half the price for half a drink, which is advertised as half off a full cocktail, but we only received half the portion. I will give this place another chance, but I'll wait until the crawfish are larger.
Derrick Snell
Food and service were on point. Good vibe throughout the restaurant. Definitely recommend.
Joseph Raczynski
Decent seafood and solid drinks! Most specifically the oysters and crawfish beignets. The service was excellent.
Suraj Kumar
The boil was very flavorful. Also loved the BBQ oysters. Good service. The best boil I have ever had.
Tam Kam
My first time at Boil house I realized that the prices are a bit steep for a small amount of shrimps and crawfish that they advertise. My order said it came with 1 lbs of shrimp and 2 boils of crawfish but this clearly doesnt look like 2lbs of crawfish more so like 1lbs. The flavor was great and the service was nice which I cant complain about. Very quick. I been at least 1 times after but I water just get seafood cheaper from my local Rouses or Cajuns
Mister
Good food! Sat upstairs at the picnic tables. Don’t let them tell you it’s a long wait. There are normally table available. Try the boil house mix... with all the spices and corn 👍🏽. Added a side salad for a little more green 😉. Hubby had the fried platter... lots of fries if you’re into that kind of thing. Great service friendly waitress!
Chris Madeksho
This place is awesome. We sat on the 2nd floor balcony. Boiled crawfish were well seasoned. My companion had the shrimp po boy.
Timothy Jordan
Great seafood boils with a selection that goes well beyond just crawfish. Bread will come with it, so you can soak up all the sauce. The house sauce with a spicy level of "hot" is what I'll get again in the future. Recommended amount is 3lbs per person -- there's a lot of extra weight in the shell.
Andrew
Amazing! If you like spicy get the extra hot, it's not that bad. Drinks, food, and service all great!
Shaveta Sharma
Food was great. We ordered the taste of New Orleans. One of the best cajun extra spicy boils we have had. Service was great. Our server was attentive despite it being ridiculously busy.
Nathan Martinez
Driving trough New Orleans . I just had to stop and try some Cajun food and this was just the right spot!! The food was great and the service was excellent!!
Teedie Bop
The oysters! The oysters! The oysters! Loved it! The drinks are great and the seafood platters are also tasty.
Morgan Reddish
The food is great. This place is not in the French quarter but it is well worth the ride. Parking is tuff and there may be a wait. But they are really the only game in town for this type of dinning. Give it a shot
Rebecca Barrett
The crawfish was absolutely phenomenal. The spicy Cajun sauce burned so good. I picked at it for over an hour getting every last bit of meat out.
Bobby Arriola
The food was amazing. Service was on point. Don't wear your fancy clothes, the boiled seafood platters can get messy.
Tara Hernandez
Amazing! Service was great, food was amazing! We all shared everything, which is the best way because you have to try everything.
Clarisa Cozer
This is the best seafood restaurant in New Orleans. You must go!!!! I’ve been here 3 times and I can’t get enough of this place. We are from Miami. They have good food and also amazing service. I was lucky enough to get Kai as my waiter 2 times in a row. He treated us as family, very profesional, friendly and always with a smile on his face!!! Thank you Kai for this amazing experience in New Orleans
Corey Mckeller
Food was really good and the waitress was awesome. Only reason I didn’t give a five is because the drink was blah!
Kelsey Ellis
This was one of the best boils I have had! The sauce was flavorful with a little bit of a kick. I got medium but you can get 2 flavors spicer.
At this restaurant you do need to order your protein and then hour potatoes and corn, sausage ect. You have to order everything separate. The shrimp, crab ect is just the meat.
They do serve bread to soak up all that delicious sauce too!!
It’s about 10-20 mins from the French quarter but for sure worth it to try a great NOLA seafood boil!
Also reserve a spot online or by calling to avoid a long wait when you get there! Still worth the wait if you don’t do call ahead seating!!
Sophia Gorby
BOIL is so so good!! I would HIGHLY recommend this to any seafood lovers visiting New Orleans. My dad and I split “The House” seafood bucket, and there was plenty of food for both of us. We chose the Boil House flavor with high heat; it was the perfect combination of spice and buttery goodness. The only downside was a longer wait, but we thought it was well worth it!
Lily Lee
Food was excellent! Saice tasty but bit salty. Super long wait time for table. Over 1.5 hours on a Tuesday night.
Sergio Biolley
I was there yesterday with my daughter and friends we order and we got was the Cajun classic and the shrimp basket because the power not power in the all block 🤷, the hostess at front was so helpful and nice since we step inside of the restaurant John B was our server he explained the menu food was extremely good and so tasty 😋 the restaurant was clean and also the restrooms great place with the authentic New Orleans flavor I do highly recommend
Robyn DuboseKing
This place is absolutely a must visit, and make sure you get the house seasoning, it's a great mix of Caribbean, garlic butter and cajun!!! The service is fun and very unique (very welcoming and accommodating) The portions are big enough to share. The Raw oysters are great as well!
For this visit I'm giving a 4 stars because my Chargrilled Oysters were waaaaay over grilled, my pound of crawfish seemed to be less than one pound, and my house flavoring seemed to missing the Caribbean kick.
All in all great visit.
Andrea R.
The food was delicious. The staff was awesome. Pay attention to your bill there is already a tip added when you get it. They are busy call ahead if you have a group.
Adam Webb
This is amazing! Probably could have shared one seafood boil platter between two! This meal definitely is such a great experience. I can’t wait to come back again! I went for the spiciest one I could and washed it down with loads of beers!
Lukasz Zbylut
Excellent seafood, very attentive service, nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices given how much food you get.
Isabella Leon
Absolutely delicious! We had a large group and it took no time for our food and drinks to come, probably one of the highlights of our NOLA trip!
Andras Toth
Loved our waitress, my girlfriend made me look bad but she was treating sooo..... all was good
Amy
Great food and great service (: our waitress found out we'd never had crawfish (and we hadn't ordered any), so she even brought us all a crawfish to try on the house!!! Really wonderful experience! We will be back next time we're in town.
Keeks S
Although we had reservations, we still had to wait when we arrived.
The staff was accommodating to my friends butter allergy so they put the sauces on the side.
In my opinion, having the boil without the sauces is highly recommended. The boil tastes great on its own.
We had blue crab, crawfish, and shrimp. Then added mussels and an extra pound of shrimp.
Also, my oysters app was delicious!
Would recommend and go back.
Hugo Guerola
It was a recommendation from a tourist information center, who told as in order to get really good steam sea food we had to go out of the French Quarter. She recommended this restaurant un the Garden District that was really good.
We had to wait up 45 minutes, but it was worthed.
Justin Hill
Awesome food! The gumbo is a real standout. Well worth the uber drive across town from where my friends and I were staying.
Leslie-Claire Spillman
A nice little spot for seafood, especially if you're looking for a break from the typical fried NOLA fare. I wanted a quick light lunch bite, so I opted for the grilled shrimp salad. It was super yummy and the service from Tonya was on point. The boiled seafood served to tables around me looked and smelled amazing. I'll be going back to get my hands dirty very soon!
Nikki Sines
The food was absolutely amazing! We had the house with a lb of crawfish, shrimp and crab with potatoes andoulie sausage and corn! Felix the waiter was so awesome! Will definitely go back!
Gabby Joseph
If you're in NOLA stop by and enjoy some great seafood.
Kim Cox
Had a late lunch here w/a few friends on Friday 11/4. Service was fast and the waiter (Kai) was great. Food was excellent!
Emily Qiu
One of the best crawfish places in New Orleans!
jstbczmusic
Crown jewel.
Stuffed. Great service. Great food. Great experience. They didn't have Hennessy though. Lol. Jojo was excellent.
Jonathan Oliveros
The lady at the beginning I didn’t Cathay her name but when she finds out about the review I wrote she will know I was a Taurus in New Orleans came from Miami and she sat my boyfriend and me on the balcony what an amazing view if u like to watch the city life and the life of New Orleans happen in front of you as you dine in I also didn’t get the servers name I forgot to be honest but all of the servers have a great hospitality and they also show great respect please keep the employees this restaurant just became my favorite I’m going 1 a month every month to show support thanks again for your wonderful employees
Angela Johnson
This place is AMAZING ! They have some of the best seafood I’ve had in such a long time. My favorite appetizers were crawfish beignets and the bayou egg rolls. My sister had the catfish platter which was so amazing and my cousin had their chargrilled oysters and we literally enjoyed ourselves. We met the cook herself and she was awesome. We had Ana amazing server (Erica) and she recommended some really good drinks to us as well. My cousin had the Adios MF and my sister had some flavors mixed of the frozen margaritas. This place is DEFINITELY a must try if you’re in New Orleans!
Jessie
First of all, great food. We enjoyed our meals and our service was great. I do have a couple of things that would be considered negatives. 1. We had no idea that one would need a reservation when visiting so we ended up walking around to pass the time. So be sure you reserve a table beforehand. The ladies at the front acted a bit snippy about it but we didn't see any signs outside stating we needed to reserve prior. 2. The seating can get a bit cramped. Especially when there is a dinner rush. We couldn't even move our chairs to adjust them. So if you can't handle the closeness of others while eating, avoid when busy.
Kristin Anderson
We came here on our last day in New Orleans because we had not gotten much seafood, surprisingly, and were very impressed! We came in as they were opening at 11:00 and got sat immediately. We split a pound of shrimp and a pound of crawfish, mild seasoned and we LOVED IT!! The shrimp were jumbo sized, as were the crawfish. The dish came with bread and between the two of us, we finished the two pounds and were stuffed. Highly recommend!
LA Colvin
This place is AWESOME!!! I can't wait to go back to New Orleans to eat there again.
Vu Vu
The BOIL seasoning is delicious. Hands down the best I have had. The oysters were good as well caviar style.
Amanda Huntley
We ordered the taste of New Orleans and it came with a pound of shrimp, crawfish, and blue crab. Also had a sausage and two potatoes and two pieces of corn. It was enough for two adults. It was a bit on the pricey side running 37 dollars for our meal. But the food was hot and fresh. Would have been nice to get some more potatoes in the bucket.
The atmosphere was laid back with very cool lighting and nice art work on the walls. Bathrooms were single stall and one for men and women.
Seating was kinda limited and very cozy. We had no reservation and had to wait 35 minutes to get seated but that is on us for not getting a reservation.
The seafood comes cleaned on the outside but not deveined in anyway. So make sure you clean your shrimp and crawfish so they don't taste like dirty dish water.
Julia Horaj
Happy hour is definitely cost effective. Blue crab is a pain to get meat out of. Margaritas were good.
Abelardo Surigao Jr.
Food was good and the servers were exceptional.
Visited at the dinner and was told there was a 45 minute wait but got seated in about 10 minutes.
Will visit again when I'm in town.
Lucas
Service was good, and I really liked the boil house sauce. Blue crabs were slightly over cooked and hard to pick, but still tasty and a great price. (Blue crab 1/2 off on Wednesdays.)
Candy Ryan
Great food. Our server did forget our drinks but he recovered nicely. The atmosphere was great and they have outside sitting. Very busy however we didn't have to wait.
Summer Rodgers
Wonderful. After looking all around town for crawfish, we found it here by the pound. The food was great and hot! The atmosphere is cool and different. We got seated pretty fast but the restaurant did fill up on a Saturday night, so I would recommend a reservation!
Svitlana Storchak
Delicious!
Fresh oysters, reasonable prices, nice seating on a deck, great customer service!
Jacob Baca
This place was amazing. Took my baseball team here for a team dinner. They accommodated us well for a big party on short notice. Food and service was fantastic. Would highly recommend this place if you are in the New Orleans area.
Shanterrius Pollard
Wanted a good seafood boil while visiting the city and they didn’t disappoint. Everything was fresh and full of flavor!
Reparacion Virtual Pc
Love this place and the food extremely good especially the shrimp Cajun . I definitely come back to this place 100% worth it
Yoslen
Amazing experience!!! Great seafood 🦞 and drinks!!! I’ll definitely recommend this place! 10/10 …
Rick To
Loved the Boston lobster in cajun sauce. The grilled oysters were fantastic, I would love to try it again.
Paul Le
Easily the best crawfish bowl in NOLA. The Viet spice is exceptional as is the service by Ashley and the rest of the staff. Worth the trek from the quarter.
Corey R
Delicious. Had alligator (swamp bites) that tasted like chicken and the chargrilled oysters. Awesome oysters, highly recommend. Great ambiance too!
Petrice Antoine (Niki)
Staff is friendly and awesome! Treated us like we were the only ones there with a packed house! Food was so delicious! Def going back
Christina Gonzales
Our first meal last weekend visiting one of my favorite cities. Delicious food, hitting that NOLA craving HARD. Great service. Very chill atmosphere. Our server was sweet and our food came out fast & tasty!
Tamra Needham
This place was great !!! The food was amazing! Me and my sister had the taste of New Orleans with the house seasoning and level 1 and 2 on the heat. Reasonably priced meals and drinks in my
Opinion. Loved the atmosphere. Our server Kishor M was fabulous! He was so kind and personable. I’ll be visiting this place again when I get to revisit!!!
yagnner Gomez
It was amazing. Oh my goodness. Jordan was a great help with her recommendations. The family and i had The Classic Seafood boil with medium heat level, cup of Gumbo, The Alfredo pasta for the kiddos. We do not regret going out the way on our way to texas from Florida.
Noelle Oliver
The food was fantastic but the customer service left much to be desired. We entered with a party of 9 people and were told we would have to separate. We did, but they managed to sit us in a row of tables. We were given two different servers to accommodate us. We placed our order with our individual server within seconds of one another but our food arrived within 10 minutes of one another. Our request for refills and condiments were hardly met or not at all. One of the plates had hair in it and the server said her manager wanted to see it after she observed it. For resolve, the manager offered a drink or dessert. My sister had water that evening and didn't want dessert, so my sister told them to adjust the bill. When the bill arrived, we were charged an automatic gratuity. I inquired and was told because we were a party over 6, the server was told to add it. After being split up, having 2 different servers, recieving food within 10 minutes of each other, and our request hardly or ever being met, I felt that was not earned. The manager then again, who I never met or saw, sent the server back with news that gratuity would be removed.
As I mentioned the food is fantastic, but the service sucks!
Elizabeth Chappel
Delicious!! Our first time here and we will be back next time we're in town! Overheard our brunch waitress recommend to another table so thought we'd check it out...We had The House bucket, Cajun with medium spice and it was just the right amount or heat! Favorite meal so far on this trip!!😊 …
Rose
Amazing service, incredible food and ambiance! Grab a seafood boil here and enjoy! Amazing seasonings, great cocktails!
Lim Heo
I never had such a wonderful food ever. It was awesome. I really loved the sauce. Surprisingly, the corn was really yummy! You'd better to add more corns :)
Sabrina Reynolds
We are so glad we found this place. Best food we had our whole trip. And the staff was amazing. It was a 2 hour wait but they advised us to hover at the bar and sit there once a seat opened up. We did so and were eating in under 30 minutes. I highly recommend them and the boil broth (mix if their 3 options - delicious).
Robert Evoy
Delicious boiled seafood. Great waitress. 👍
Toni Z
Awesome Charbroiled/chargrilled oysters!!! I ordered the New Orleans style and it did not disappoint. It was $13 for a half-dozen, which is a good price and cheaper than Drago's last I visited. Boil's didn't even need lemon! A side of potatoes in Boil Seasoning topped things off wonderfully. I did order a Sunsplash alcoholic beverage and it was pretty weak so that would be my only negative. Personally, I think the place is great and I fully recommend it based on the oysters alone.
Hannah Tetuan
I ordered online for pickup and they forgot my $3.50 drink, which didn't occur to me until I'd gotten home, so that's a bummer. :( (I know some places don't do drinks to-go, but it was an option for me to order it and I was charged for it, so make sure to check your order if you do pickup.) The oysters and gumbo I got were really good though!
Jason Horner
We went to Boil because my son wanted to have a crayfish boil before we left New Orleans and we were not disappointed. The boils were outstanding and the various sauces amazing. Try the charbroiled oysters, you will love them.
Cynthia Ogg
Super delicious. It was my first time at a boil restaurant and next time I know better what to order but everything was absolutely delicious.

At first we were turned away 30 minutes before closing. Then I called for take out and they accommodated our request. Now to the food...The House seafood bucket of head on large shrimp, easy to open snow crabs, best ever but too many crayfish, wish their was one more Andouille Sausage, spot on corn, and potatoes bathed in BOIL butter option (combination of all butter options) was fantastic in taste, although I misspoke and said medium heat instead of mild. I charged through with semi- numbed lips because the balanced flavor was sooooo alluring. My hot sauce " bring on the heat" loving daughter surrendered to it too! Prices are beyond reasonable for the quality... I'll travel back just to eat here again, and next time with reservations.
Tonya Reed
Food and drinks were great!! Service was a little slow but good. Amazing flavorful crab legs, corn, potatoes, and shrimp.
Joe Navedo
David the bartender is awesome. Helped us pick what to eat. Please get the chargrilled oysters w the chargrilled bread! You won’t be disappointed!
Monica Diaz
Found this place on tiktok lol
It was the first time here and this is such a badass spot!! We ordered the taste of New Orleans and everything was super delicious. The staff is so friendly and our waitress Halle is a sweet baby angel. 💖💖 …
Nick Langel
If you visit New Orleans, this stop is a must to truly experience the food culture of NOLA! The kitchen worker even came out to show us how to properly eat crawfish the New Orleans style. Super friendly staff and awesome food!
Trinity Guesnon
The food was really good. Their online prices are higher than the prices in the restaurant. They do sell other types of food than boil seafood. The boil seafood is on the high side. The staff was friendly and the server that we had checked on our table very well
alvaro bravo
Nice place, well kept, friendly staff, very tasty food and a bit pricy. Nice area of Magazine St.
earl demoulette
Pretty good place , nothing like it elsewhere in new Orleans. The boiled shrimp were easy to peel and had good flavor . . The bayou rolls are delicious filled with a jambalaya wrapped in a egg roll . Will go back again eventually and try something else .
scott mercante
Everything there is is delicious and the staff is definitely on point. Thank you for a great experience.
Meka Mincey
It's small and busy the waiter was great they don't have boil eggs but I still enjoyed the food.
Stephanie Robinson
I only gave 4 stars because I'm a chicken eater and there was only tender so I got a salad and it was not good at all. The rest of my party thoroughly enjoyed their seafood. I'm sure they will be back so I would recommend.
Catherine W
It was my last night of the vacation, I just want something easy and simple. This place wasn't too bad. It is good food and simple. Nothing special
Kenzie Leigh
I love this place! Eduardo was our server and it was a very pleasant experience!! Will be returning!!

Kiesha Jackson

jamie draper
This place was AMAZING!!! I wish I knew the boil mix they used because I would love to make it for my friends and family up here in Nashville! Thank you for such a good experience my first time visiting New Orelans! The oysters were awesome too! I will definitely be back!!
Patrick Kaulen
This was one of the best meals I had in our trip to New Orleans. I've been to white tablecloth dinners, fancy brunches, and exceptional lunches, but this Seafood Boil house was one of those "what in the world" experiences that were all looking for. I cannot begin to describe the incredible tastes, smells, and service of this restaurant. Take time away from the French Quarter and do yourself a huge favor by visiting this restaurant on your trip to New Orleans. Also, the district it's in is super fun and amazing to visit.
Carmen Burke
Our waiter Felix was wonderful! Creole pasta was bland. I then ordered Bang bang shrimp platter was very good. Out of town visitor but had to wait 45 minutes for a table when I was told there was no waiting during phone call.
Harold Martin
It was a nice establishment but food was not that good. Our waitress was really nice and helpful.
Teresa L.
First time here. We're in New Orleans on vacation. The service was great and the staff was nice. They have a good selection of craft beer too. I recommend it.
Shay B
The BEST seafood boil I've had! I had the Shack, cajun, high heat!!! Soooo delicious...great atmosphere, great server-Sean!!! We will definitley visit again!!
Yvonne High
1st time visiting & I love it. The spice was right on point. The chargrilled oysters was good also.
Tina Harms
Expensive but good, disappointed with the crab, not much meat in the variety they offered
Heather W
Food was excellent! Service and atmosphere were awesome. Definitely recommend.
Maury Strong
I swear they stole dragos chargrilled oyster recipe. Absolutely amazing. The crawfish were good but i think i would opt for the garlic butter one next time instead of the boil house one- only due to personal preference. Very impressed!
Jackie Newton
I found this restaurant through google and trip advisor. The restaurant is near the garden district, and therefore as you are heading over, you can see the beautiful houses in that area. We took Lyft over and they were able to drop us off by the parking meters on the street right in front of the restaurant. So if you are driving, it is parallel street parking with meters. The restaurant is 2 stories but I believe when we went they only had the bottom open, and that area had around 10-12 tables, so a little on the smaller side. We did book a reservation in advance and I highly recommend that because I overheard the hostess saying that you need a reservation. We went on a Wednesday night and the bar was full, and the tables were mostly full with the exception of a few as tables were coming in and out. Seemed like there were only 2 servers on and they were having some problems figuring out who was taking what tables, as they were talking with each other and the host stand a lot to get things figured out. We always try to have patience and grace during these times. The menu does have a large variety, although we came in specifically for the seafood boils. They had local Abita beers. They were delicious! We ordered the Bayou roll which was different because it was a mix of an egg roll and cajun seafood. It was great! Soon after our boil arrived. We tried to order the Cajun classic boil bucket, but by the time we went (7:30pm reservation), they had sold out of crab. This was disappointing but also understandable as we appreciate that they keep fresh catches. So instead we ordered the cajun classic. You choose your flavor and heat and are good to go. We chose the cajun flavor and high heat. I have a low tolerance for spicy food and the high heat was very doable. The cajun flavor was amazing. We are a party of 2, so be aware though that there is not a lot of potatoes, sausage, and corn in the boil, but plenty of crawfish and shrimp! They do give you trays to place your shells on. We ate everything so fast because everything was cooked perfectly. The shrimp and crawfish melted in your mouth. We even ordered another pound of crawfish after we finished the first round because it was so good. This time we ordered the extra high spicy level and that did have a good kick to it, but still delicious. It definitely fulfilled our fresh seafood boil dreams. This was one of our favorite meals on vacation. Highly recommend.
Drew Currier
Really good food. Had a large group it took an hour to get seated, about 30 min to order. Once we ordered the food came fast. The bill couldn't be split because our group was so large which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.
John Green
The menu of items was very nice. The chef seemed to put special care in all his dishes. The best French onion soup I ever had. Ryan our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. He was very helpful and was willing to share his recommendations. Great experience overall! Thank you to the Boiling House
Tee Sadler
Finger Licking good...highly recommended...great service and prices as well...did I mention I loved our waitress she was awesome and even gave me a quick tut on the crawfish! Lol thank you
Soyoung Kwon
The foods were awesome and servers were so nice. I want to visit this place again.
Rolando D Perez
By far, one of the best, if not the best in NOLA. Take the time is awesome and service is amazing!
Jeff Biddenstadt
Food was good. A little pricey. Nice atmosphere. The service was great. The charboiled oysters were "AMAZING ". If your in new Orleans it's a must stop.
Greg Bem
Had to try a crawfish boil while in town. The experience was interesting. I can't attest to the quality of the boil, but it seemed to be genuine. I will say what sealed the deal with this place was the wings. They were simply stunning, some of the best I've ever had.
Tony Vetsch
Food was great; we got The House and split it between 2 people and it was perfect except I wish they would just include the bread instead of making you ask for it separately (dumb). They were understaffed and seemed stressed. Knocking it down a star since the vibe was not comfortable. We didn’t want to hang out and drink. Ate and got out of there.
Marty Reed
Fantastic food. No one in our party left unsatisfied.
Marc A.
Delicious. A bit pricey but the food was delicious, the sauce was AMAZING !
Ivorianchick1
The food was amazing, I wish I was there again. If I could give them more stars I would, our waiter Justin was also very friendly, lastly the prices are very reasonable.
Anita Lumpkin
Flavor good but Freshness not there. Bought whole lobster plate. Tail was mushy. Claws were rubbery. Another member bought whole lobster and it was too rubbery to chew.
Tiffany Wilson
Great service and phenomenal food. Our server was great as well
T Burns
Delicious and was exactly the experience we were looking for in NOLA
Kelsey
Food was great loved the bucket style seafood and the grilled oysters.
kendra Sherray
The food was great, service not so great due to the wrong waiter taking our tab off the table. We were call back in ,embarrass in front of guest about we didn't pay for service.only to get a apology after they look at the camera and found the waiter had it and our 25 dollar tip. We took out tip back after this.
ztate44
The etouffee was good but dosen't come with bread. Not that big of a deal. The boiled seafood was great. I got the cajun and hot. I LOVE hot food so i wish i would have tried the very hot because it wasnt as hot as i wanted. But overall everything was delicious & cooked well
Ashley Greenwood
Food was Good and so was the service . Only complaint was it took 20 minutes to get greeted after we got sat.
J marohn
Food is delicious! We had Casey as our waitress. She was incredibly pleasant and took our order in a timely fashion. She checked on us throughout but it didn't feel like
An intrusion. Even though, they were busy at the time, Casey made sure we had a positive experience! Will definitely go back. 😃
RolandWife2016
Kishor was the bartender and he took GREAT CARE OF ME! The food was and always Fantastic! I absolutely love this restaurant and the staff! If looking for a comfortable clean and friendly environment With bomb seafood to match the boil seafood house is where you wanna😊 …
David Coca
Great food with some good recommendations. The boil we all shared hit the spot.
Tammy Odom
Seafood with a Vietnamese flair. If your lookin for normal...don't go there! it ill surprise you and make you a follower of Seafood done the "viet" way. I'll be back and i might even share my new favorite place to relax and enjoy a great culinary experience. Seafood done the Vietnamese way😋 It was soo mouth watering that i forgot to take a picture. Alas this one didn't even get away!
Quentin Kimber
This place had an upbeat atmosphere, food was EXCEPTIONAL! Service was great.
Kanei Jones
Finger licking good. Has to be popular.... they ran out of alot of stuff during my visit.
Only con was 2 bathrooms (one Male one female) in the entire place which stayed congested!
Stacie Easterwood
Had a great time getting into the boil!
paige tyksinski
This place is great, do not let the outside fool you. They offer an authentic taste of Louisiana in every dish and boil bucket they serve. Our server Abbey was soo sweet and attentive, she made sure that we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Ashlynn Davis
Food was amazing. If you want to feast on the boil it is pricey. But oh so worth it. Loved the part where we just casually walked out a window to get to our table, giving us a view of the stores along the streets
Alice C
Had a great meal. Unfortunately we were out of season for craw fish, so weren’t able to try. Great service
Luna B.
The food, the service, and the flavor are top notch! Jojo was an amazing server and he gave us a memorable experience.
The boil Seafood was so good, I forgot about the chargrilled oysters. The bayou rolls and the crawfish etoufee are great starters. Some of the menu items can be considered family styled dishes, as you can split the portions between 2-3 people.
Gloves are available, if you want to keep your hands clean! 10/10 would visit again!!!
pam fri
The food was delicious! The service was even better! Highly recommended.
Joy Jones
The food was soooo good. Service okay.
Mirtha Zamudio
We got the crawfish and snow crab boil with the boil house seasoning and it was honestly the best thing I ate in my 5 days in New Orleans!
Duke Jupiter
The food was amazing!!! A little pricey, but we’ll worth it for the amount of food you get. 10/10 would recommend
Yoli G
It was the best boil I've ever had!!! Me and my party had to come back 3 times! We couldn't get enough!
Stephanie Hoyt
Absolutely amazing food! If you dine there ask for JOJO the most amazing waiter! The food and service were top notch!
Antinell Robinson
First seafood taste from CHICAGO and baby it's Lit🔥🔥🔥 The food, the service, the atmosphere was simply EVERYTHING. I tried to place an online order but I missed the time frame by one second but Ebony and Blake didn't let me miss my order.
I got my Boil and my gumbo in great timing! Customer service goes along way and although the restaurant was busy and packed, these ladies showed no sign of pressure!!! I'll be back! Great Job
Julie nicole
Wait time was long but the staff, and food was good. My bartender/ server was great.
Derek Pipher
Very tasty Vietnamese Cajun style crawfish and seafood. We tried the house boil with garlic butter.
Jason Chen
Amazing seafood boil and nice atmosphere
Alex
Our server was attentive and made some awesome drinks for our table. The fresh seafood was also incredible. I chose to go with the house seasoning, and it was delicious. My only complaint is they didn't prepare enough voodoo rice to make it through the evening but alas, such is life with the popular dishes. It was a great time though and I'll definitely come back
Mikaela Budzick
By far the BEST crawfish I’ve had in NOLA! Absolutely amazing, juicy, & fresh! This will be a top food stop for me every time I visit!
M.J. Scanlon Photography
Good seafood prepared to your liking. Nice location on Magazine.
Katie
Great food and the waitress was wonderful and so helpful when we didn't know how to eat the crawfish! 😂 But it was great. The only thing that was irritating was we waited almost an hour. The guy at the front said 20 to 30 minutes. I know they had reservations but there were empty tables for a good 20 minutes and when I asked how much longer we actually got seated immediately by someone else and those empty tables next to us never filled. Not sure if a mix up happened but just wanted to mention it. Appreciate the service and the food still. Thank you so much for the great experience.
Damian
Great food. Even better service. We just asked our server, Blake, to bring us her favorite things, and everything was delicious. The High heat lvl on the Taste of New Orleans was the perfect combination of pleasure and pain that I love, and everything tasted so fresh, and buttery delicious.. Will definitely be back hoping Blake will be there to take such good care of us again.
Cliff Turley
Good beer, awesome seafood boil, and our waitress was nice too. Didn't catch her name, but she's the blonde with nose ring. Perfect night.
yasar adanali
Deliciously fun place to eat seafood. Enjoyed every minute of the experience
Michelle Fairley
Always great seafood, drinks and appetizers! They haven't let me down!!
Katy LeBorious

Really good food! Really nice people, love it
Pamela Edwards
Seafood platter was amazing.
Saying Hello New Orleans...
from WPB, Florida.
Aimee Keiana
I had 2 lbs of the headless shrimp with boil house flavor and high heat. It was good. We also had bang bang shrimp and the bayou rolls as appetizers.
Brad Ford
I was able to grab a seat at the bar. It wasn't crowded. I got the Crawfish Étouffée which was frsh and hard large chunks of crawfish. I got the shrimp poboy and the spicy bang bang sauce tied the sandwich together. While it was th we day after Christmas they didn't have two items I really wanted to try. Service at the bar was ok and a little slow. I'll definitely be back though.
Gabby Peterson
Each time I’ve gone here while visiting NOLA, the service and food have been excellent.
Franc Deal
So my daughter's first time in the Big Easy and all she wanted to do was try the crawfish. The Boil House made her happy as a bee in a flower garden. She tried to consume about 3lbs of spicy crawfish. I would recommend this restaurant if you are visiting New Orleans and would like to dive into some crawfish.
Nina Forale
The food was very good! And spicy the way I like it.
Joshua Barrett
This seafood was fresh and amazing, had we found this place sooner I don't think we would have eaten anywhere else
heather thomas
Great food!
tyrone dennis
My philly and jersey friends enjoyed there first time in Nola and especially at BOIL
K Keppley
Really good boils. I had the The House and it the Cajun flavor was great as was the service sitting at the bar.
Dawn
This was my first time in New Orleans and BOIL Seafood House was soooo good! The food and drinks were great! BUT our server JoJo was definitely the shining point of this restaurant. JoJo was so personable and attentive!!! I would definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant!!!
Peggy Kallevig
John Brown, our server was great! The food- perfectly delicious. Very nice atmosphere and vibe.
abby locantro
Me and My best friend are huge fans of seafood and been trying to find the perfect time to get together and try the Boil house. The FOOD WAS AWESOME AND OUR WAITRESS MS KACEY WAS EXCELLENT!! she was so sweet and told us what were the best things on the menu to get. The food didn’t take long at all and everything about restaurant was great, It’s a nice environment and a definitely a NEW ORLEANS theme :)
Makita Hogans
Kinda pricey but good portions! Very tasty!
Bela Bremer
love this place! a bit pricey but very good seafood
Joshua Perez
Comfortable location and friendly staff. Food was absolutely perfect and I felt a great value.
alex silva
The shack
Very good food service was great a bit sad that I wasn’t able to try the crawfish due to not being in season but I will come back when ever I’m back in town!
Nicole Poole
Loved it!! I'll definitely come back.
Natalie Donovan
Very good seafood! However, we came for the blue crab and we found out after we got there that it was out. But we got the house platter and it was really good. Just a more expensive option than we originally anticipated.
Dorothea Skornog
My husband and I shared the feast, and it was absolutely delicious. Seasoning was spot on, and the medium heat was perfect for us. Felix, our waiter, was so amazingly nice and helpful! His recommendations and explanations were spot on, and he even did a demonstration of how to open blue crab! We will absolutely be back!
Erin
Seafood bucket was so good and the flavor and the spice is on point. The best restaurant I had in New Orleans during my 6 days visit.
Katie Shepherd
Excellent food and service all the way around. Arrived shortly after opening on a Monday. Drinks were great, service was quick and the charbroiled oysters and house boil shrimp and mussels were outstanding. Will definitely return if back in NOLA
Monica Asmussen
Myself and three other people tried this place last night and were absolutely thrilled with it! Dedarcia(sorry I misspelled that!) was amazing, she walked us through the menu with ease! She was very diligent and friendly! we wound up splitting two house boils one medium one low heat, the spice was great the heat was perfect! As close as you can get to an authentic crawfish boil outside of someone’s backyard!
Thomas Pothen
They didn't have any plates for us to eat off of and we had to eat off of paper towels.
Trevor Jurgensen
Great food. We had a nice quiet corner with a TV to watch sports.
BPK MM30
Made a reservation and was seated promptly. The hostess was pleasant. There is no physical menu...it's only on their website. The waiter promptly brought water with lemon and we ordered then. My food came before the beer, which is a mortal sin. The food runner got it for us. The Classic Cajun Boil with House sauce and medium heat was awesome! I ordered the shrimp head-on, but he put it in as headless, which was not a big deal. The fried shrimp platter was ok. Only 4 stars because the beer fiasco.
Susan Chapel
The food was very good and the service was great!
Robert Tucker
Place is under new management that’s awesome food is great if highly recommend.
Kimberly Lattimore
The food was fabulous. The seasoning was amazing and my server Sean was the best and very attentive.
Kaitlynn Fenley
Spending the weekend in NOLA with family from out of town, and our experience was perfect! Our server was John Brown, and he was so attentive and helpful navigating the menu with our dairy allergies. We had the boiled snow crab legs, mussels, and shrimp. Everything was perfectly spicy and flavorful.
Bill Greene
The server was very nice but I started to feel badly for her as many things were not in stock. Be sure to come early on any day as it gets packed, fast. Loved the crab, crawfish, and oysters.
Annamaria H
I had chargrilled snow crab with garlic butter, it was so good, the best food I had eaten during my stay in NOLA. The staff was friendly, helpful and quick. I am happy I chose this place, it was really worth a little excursion from where I stayed.
Kristen H
please go here if you are looking for a great new orleans boil! we ordered the Taste of New Orleans and it was the perfect amount for 2 people. It gets busy so make a reservation and make it early. The first night we tried to go they were booked and no walk ins so we went the next night. The sweetest servers and if it’s your first time they will explain how to crack and eat everything from crawfish to crabs. will be back again.
Jeffrey
A great venue with a vibrant atmosphere that is dimly lit. Black lights make the murals on the wall glow in creative ways. An authentic Seafood experience with friendly staff. There is plenty on the menu to choose from including some meat free options, but I would not go so far as to say they are prepared meat-free environments! That is not to be unexpected considering what the restaurant is all about. It can get quite crowded so prepare for a little bit of a wait during dinner hours. There is a full bar and plenty of tables packed into the restaurant area. Definitely check this place out.
Meer Almemar
Honestly expected better. The crab were the harsh truth about this place, very hardy and the meat shredded quickly. I am not sure if they were boiled properly.
Hagan Pereira
Me and my family had come all the way from Jersey and we're looking for some tasty Louisiana Sea food. Fortunately, Blake, our server, gave us some great suggestions. Everything we ate was amazing.
Leslie Dominguez
Last place we visited on our trip. It was worth it! Everything was delicious 😋 definitely going back. …
Nick Gillett
This is a must for anyone visiting New Orleans. Delicious, authentic and amazing service. 10/10 would go again.
Jenny T
I visited here with my family due to the high reviews. We even came an hour early to get our name on the waitlist. I had high expectations but was kind of let down. The place is surprisingly big.
Service 1/5
We were escorted to our table and sat there for quite sometime. No one came by and we had to flag someone for menu. They said it online and walked away. Understandable since she wasn’t our server and so we looked at menu. Finally our server came got us water and left. Time passed and she never came back so we had to flag someone to call her. Even just to get our check we had to look for her. I think she only came when the food came on her own. My group is in the service industry and we have a lot of empathy for those in it but this was one of the times we don’t understand why.
Snow crabs 2/5
They were so tiny for the price! That’s not even the worst part. They were really cold! I specifically also asked for them in a bag separately from my combo plate but they were in the same plate. Being in the same plate isn’t to big of a deal but the reason I asked so because one was suppose to spicy and the other one mild. We told the waitress and she took them back to warm up.
Combo w/blue crabs added 3/5
The sauce was good don’t get me wrong. But the flavor didn’t really soak into the crawfish. Crawfish was tiny and bland. The shrimps were tasty though. The blue crabs were good as well. It was the freshest, I could tel by the meat but the flavor was able to soak to the inside.
Cajun fries 5/5
These were pretty good. Good crisps and tasty.
Overall I had a bad experience but the flavor is on point. The price is super high for the quantity though.
Heather Wojtanowski
Best seafood in Nola! The hurricanes were strong, the food comes out hot! Watch your spice level. I like spicy food but Medium almost hurt. The laid back, open window, chill vibe had me walk in...the food and great service will male me come back!!
Madison Hayes
Boil was great! The flavors are all amazing. Kasey was awesome!! She is super friendly and efficient with her service as well! She taught us everything we needed to know about eating crawfish and gave us really good recommendations!
Lauren Wright-Jones
People really amp this place up and I’m just not sure why. We came here with friends and honestly…..I wish we hadn’t. The experience was chaotic. Running waitresses, loud banter from the staff, just madness. The food… meh. I’m from Monroe and we do crawfish… and well it’s just better there.
Jenna Tressler
This place was amazing. It was my first time to New Orleans and Pat made it 100x better. It was honestly one of the best customer experiences I have ever had! & food was amazing!! I got the crawfish and she every instructed me since I’m from Maryland and have never done it before how to pick a crawfish apart. The bang bang was also to die for. Thank you for making our experience so great here :)
Anissa Perkins
MAKE A RESERVATION. We lucked up and was sat in 15 minutes however walk ins were waiting for over an hour. My overall experience was great. Though my appetizer portion was small, my entree was great. Be weary of the seasonings bc they can get very spicy. I spent around $80 for a boil, cocktail, appetizer, and side. I believe it was worth it.
Jesse Peterson
The food was very good. Had a lot of flavor. We got the medium heat and it was perfect at providing spice yet letting the flavor of the food be enjoyed. Very pleasant sitting outside in the deck. We did make a reservation and we're seated right in time.
Paul Nguyen
I took my entire family to Boil Seafood House and let me tell the service was great. Our waitress, Ilene, should be recommended for being the top of her profession. She is extremely cordial and attentive to her patrons need. The food were great, everything were spot on. Even though the voodoo rice portion is a little bit underwhelming. I definitely will come back whenever I am back in Nola.
Victoria Boquet
My partner ordered the Creole Pasta, and it still had not arrived by the time I finished eating my boiled seafood. The order was accidentally not placed… The bartender was super apologetic and did give him a drink on the house, but after waiting so long to eat he was upset so we chose to take the pasta to-go.
Mark Walsh
2nd day of arrival in NOLA and this is EXACTLY what I needed. It was freakin awesome !
Brittany poole
This is one of the best places I've been to for seafood!!!! I love on the coast and get fresh seafood all the time, but this place has it down. And it's very price worthy.
Dannell Williams
Great food great atmosphere customer service was great. 1st time going, gotta go back😋💯💯💯👍🏾
Fernando Aguilar
I loved their seafood! Excellent please try.
Derek Matthew Auxier Black
Love, love, love this place, mudbugs were awesome and the blue crabs were meaty!!! Strong drinks were a bonus and the raw oysters to finish us off were our favorite!!! Felix was an awesome and humorous server, self-effacing and all! Definitely coming back, arrive early if you don't make a reservation otherwise, people stand outside, but no worries drinks are available nextdoor while you wait.
J. Tang
Ordered canjun mild seafood bucket, tasted good. Fried calamari was not that good, skip it. The waiter is very nice and helpful. But you can not order only crawfish which is I really wanted.
Stephanie Beene
While the food was good I felt like the service was lacking a little bit. Initially upon ordering it seemed like everything we wanted they were out of but your server didn't really mention anything else that could be in place of what they were out of. Then he really didn't really check on us in fact watching other server at another table had me wishing we had gotten that guy because he was friendly had personality and could speak about the menu. I wanted a glass of pinot grigio in which they didn't have I ordered the peach moscato instead I have to say that it $12 a glass and it was probably the worst wine I have ever tasted and I like wine but I didn't want to send it back and I didn't want to waste $12 so I struggled to drink it. The seafood boil we shared was however fabulous in taste which is why I did give 3 stars.
Deepak Ozhathil
This was by far and away my wife and I’d favorite meal in New Orleans. Get it spicy and mix all the sauces together. Food was amazing. Expect it to be messy. Also the vintage cafe is down the street and they have really great beignets (Better than cafe du monde)
Y Narcia
Im not a crawfish person but this, i can eat all day! Seasonings are on point!
Jeffrey Cheung
seafood here is hella fresh and boil sauce is on point. wish we came during crawfish season
Kristina Brown
Good service good food. Loved the appetizers. And my go to at most restaurants the Cajun shrimp Alfredo (not much of a seafood person) But Tried the gator bites appetizer and the stuffed crab beignets for the first time and it was very tasty!
clariese mikell
Food drinks was good me and my Little Nephew out having fun I'm thankful
Amy McDonald
Lovely date with amazing food. We each had a different entree and shared salad and sides. It was all fresh, delicious, and the staff were very good!
Viviana Jo Rocha
Suuuper yummy! The boil house sauce was perfection. I also recommend the corn & potatoes. If you’re a fan of Brussels sprouts, definitely try these! John Brown was our service & he did a great job. Full of positivity. :)
Nancy A
Delicious seafood at the Boil House. The Boil House flavour on our seafood bucket was amazing
Elisa S.
Awesome crawfish and crabs with awesome flavor and spices. One of the best I've had in Nola.
Ally Riley
Great place to get seafood especially crawfish. Love the Caribbean sauce. Those fries are amazing!
Patrick C
This restaurant is my new favorite place in New Orleans. I was in town for a few days and had a taste for Crab Legs and Crawfish and Gumbo. I went here based on the google reviews and boy did this place hit the spot. I ended up ordering all 3 items. Also ended up ordering a seafood platter with gulf shrimp, catfish nuggets And that hit the spot too. The restaurant is also in the garden district so there is plenty to see around it. Definitely check this place out.
john norman
Fantastic service and really good, authentic crawfish boil
Jasmine Mangual
The food is amazing here- the new orleans chargrilled oysters are my favorite. They arrived to our table still bubbling. I ordered the seafood pasta and my sister ordered the house boil both of which were flavorful and fresh. John Brown was a wonderful server and was kind enough to whip up a delicious mocktail for my sister. This spot is worth the wait and the money.
Minghao Liu
Bad server, I am really thinking if the waiter is going to quit this job tonight.
Also, the snow crab leg is not seasoned evenly. The body is over salted where the leg is bland.
Good oyster btw.

I had a great time here and everything was as expected. Clean, fresh, extremely tasty, and friendly. Felix waited on us and he was kind enough to show us how to eat crawfish and he catered to our every need! 5 stars all the way!
PS - we couldn’t book a table thru Google, it kept saying you were all booked up. That wasn’t the case at all, just something to think about changing via Google ;)

The service was awesome. the wait is always long. The king crabs. snow crabs, shrimps, oysters mussels, sausage potato and corn was amazing the garlic butter sauce is just right but the Cajun red sauce is packed with flavor. the drinks are strong and tasty. Definitely a messy eating situation but most definitely well worth it.

It was OK, but I've had better.

Crawfish was fresh and tasty. We got medium spice and it wasn't too spicy even for a baby like me. About $20 for 2 pounds. The server was friendly and made the visit a good one even though they were out of a couple of the things we wanted to order.

Our first time visiting Boil Seafood House and we are definitely not disappointed. FELIX our server tended to our every request and answered questions regarding the menu. He is extremely respectful and kind. Thank you Felix for this wonderful experience.

Shellfish was tender and tasty, but the medium spice was really hot- had to order chicken fingers for our son because it was too hot...the fries and chicken fingers tasted like old fryer oil. Waitress was definitely using her phone during a busy time too, which delayed things quite a bit.

Food was hot and we ordered the mild seasoning so be careful but other then that drinks was great

I ordered about 3 hours in advance to pick up crawfish. It was very efficient, and I was out the door in 5 minutes with my food. The consensus around the dinner table was that it was one of the best, if not the best, crawfish we had ever eaten. The medium spice level was perfect. It was fairly expensive compared to Rouses or something ($9 a pound) but worth it!

Outstanding! The oysters, crabs, and crawfish were absolutely delicious. Our server, Alex, was fantastic. She was super personable and knowledgeable. We'll definitely be back, and hopefully soon.

Had the taste of New Orleans with the three mixed spices. Awesome! Great portions for sharing. We added mushrooms which was spot on. Shared between two people was plenty. Had the mild which was plenty hot level (and I like hot food). Went during lunch time, not too crowded, service was friendly and prompt.

The crab legs, shrimp, potatoes, corn, and even the non alcoholic lime/strawberry margarita was delicious. The price was not expensive and the customer service was on point. Great establishment with an awesome vibe. My wife is pregnant and she loved the experience.

This place was amazing. Our waiter, JoJo was THE BEST. We would definitely go back just to see him. He was GREAT and the food was really good. I think that the checkin host could have had a better attitude, but it was a busy night for them. Overall, everything was good.
