Hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had!! Our server was EXCELLENT! Fun atmosphere inside and out. The drip coffee was exceptional. Food was superb. I appreciated how everything on the plate was cooked, seasoned and placed intentionally - something most breakfast joints dismiss. The food didn’t need any additions like ketchup or hot sauce as it was delightful on its own. The fruit salad was a refreshing array of berries and grapes topped with fresh mint. Highly, highly recommend!!

The outdoor patio was a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast. We tried the Pistachio Cherry muffin that a light and wonderful taste along with the Churro donut that was sweet and light. The Maple Syrup latte was delightful and we were charmed by the custom made thumb mugs the lattes were served in. The pancakes were fluffy and the potatoes were full of spice and crispy. Excellent breakfast! Can't wait to come back.

What’s not to enjoy?! The ambiance, customer service, food and drinks places this restaurant at the top of my food lists! I ordered crab scramble topped with asparagus and potatoes; I added bacon and toast on the side. The flavors meshed so well together for sure. I wasn’t a fan of the cappuccino but I didn’t complain. There is adequate seating inside and outside. Go see the cat 🐈⬛ I recommend

Great food! Had the vegan breakfast with pancakes. Best pancakes I've ever had. Portion size are very large. Service is fast and staff is chatty (if you'd like). If you go for the vegan breakfast, suggestion is to split the pancakes add on between two persons.

Great atmosphere. The drinks were better than the food. Their handmade drinks are the BEST! I mean I've never had anything like them. Worth a visit just to pop in and buy the lemonades.

This a seriously tasty Australian style all day brunch spot, with great coffee and a stylish interior. A nice spot also to try some NOLA inspired brunch food.
The wait can be quiet long for a table and the service was also slow.

OMG! If you are looking for what I feel has to be the BEST brunch experience EVER, fun staff, great hangout and perfect atmosphere indoors and outdoors, then you will love BEARCAT. Suggest to get in their wait list for seating because this place is popular but our wait wasn't long at all. Once seated we ordered mimosas (very good) and my wife got the Steak, egg and cheese burrito bowl with some bacon and I got the Vegan Ranchero with egg whites and Cauliflower grits and it was so amazing! Everything came out quick, the food was fresh and flavorful with his size portions. If don't order pickup when we leave NOLA, I'm definitely coming back to eat here when I visit NOLA again!
Quick note: check the website out for menu and options. Also, they do not take reservations or call in reservations so it is a walk up on a first come, first serve basis. I would plan for a 30 minute wait (which was perfect for a cigar) and keep an eye out for the text notification to let you know your table is ready. Again, very popular place to get brunch but it's well worth a little waiting.

This place gets busy so come as early as you can gather your crew! We lucked out- arrived close to 10am but another group of 6 no-showed so we took their spot. Nat and i shared the crab scramble and the scallops and grits- both were well seasoned, tasty and filling. By the time we were finished there was around a 20 person line.
