Reviews of Another Broken Egg Cafe

I always love coming here! The vibe is always A1 anytime I come! The service is amazing, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing, literally everything is amazing. We ordered the shrimp and crawfish omlette and of course they never disappoint. It's the perfect mixture of flavors and the seafood is always so fresh. The grits are also amazing as well. The drink was just okay but still enjoyed it nonetheless. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Their shrimp and grits are also literally chef's kiss so I would recommend those as well. 9/10

Great place for a light lunch. As usual in New Orleans, super friendly staff and very good food. We had lemon blueberry mimosas and a sandwich which we split between us. Could not fault any of it. Next door to the French truck cafe. Eating outside in the shade was wonderful.

Always super delicious and consistent for brunch I love having this on a chill Sunday and then going for a stroll through the park. The eggs Benny is delicious even when it’s been delivered and I love how the put the sauce on the side. This place is comfort food no doubt.

30 minute wait wasn’t too bad, got to enjoy the sun, birds and breeze. Had to switch seats because the sun was beaming but once everything got settled, it was a decent sailing. You could tell the kitchen was backed up because groups of people who were seated the entire time we waited didn’t get food until a few minutes before we got ours. very few options for people with diets that don’t include pork. On street parking.
we didn’t get to use bathrooms because of vaccinations. our host & server was amazing too.

It was crowed and extremely loud indoors. We asked management if we could sit on the patio area and was told she couldn’t Because she didn’t have a server for outside which was understandable but not more than two minutes later we seen our server go outside to serve a group that had just been seated after us. Bummer Because we just wanted to escape all of the noise. And the refuse to tell the large group in the corner to be mindful of the other guest. Well we then waited 45 minutes to receive our meal. Once we finally received our order… the table on the side of us that had been seated had received their meal and drinks within 15 minutes of being seated and ordering. Other than that our server was nice and the food was great.

Great service and delicious food. The hubby and I did not have reservations and there was no wait time. 👌. I'm not a grits person but I took a chance and their City Grits are chefs kiss. Mimosas and spiked iced coffee were absolutely on point.

Best server we could ask for. The food did take a some time to come out, but it was worth the wait. I had the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and it was amazing. From the icing to the softness (perfect temp). It is a small venue so hopefully they aren’t busy when you come here. It is worth the wait if there is one. Great place definitely plan on coming back.

My Pancakes were awesome, Strawberry Poundcake was delicious, Cheesy Grits were bussin with flavor. Note to self: Always ask for fresh scrambled eggs because that mix or whatever it was tasted horrible. I also had the Southwest Scramble which came with salsa and guacamole (see picture). I didn’t even waste my time attempting to try it as I eat with my eyes. If one thing I know, this batch was surely not fresh with the browning and how it looked on the side. I told my server about it too. The kitchen needs to do better. Ms Krislyn was friendly and awesome at treating us this morning. Love her customers service so she definitely deserves a huge THANKYOU!

3.5 stars here. service knocks off half a star. chose this location of this chain to enjoy a birthday breakfast before flying home. Really glad I did. Food was very good. Menu has many decadent choices, not much you would call low calorie. They do a nice job of guiding folks who are looking for gluten free and vegetarian options here though. Commendable. Also a large and varied drink menu, including Bloody Marys and Mimosas by the pitcher. Chose to pass on those even though we were celebrating. Not busy on arrival and the morning was nice enough to decide on a courtyard table in the sun. Hostess was very pleasant and friendly. As we perused the menu our server arrived and we peppered her with questions, all of which she answered easily. I chose to go full decadence and ordered one of their seasons eatings specials, the Pecan Praline & Candied Bacon French Toast served with two eggs (scrambled) and sausage patties. Wife chose something a bit different for her, the Hash Brown Benedict. Comes with either grits, fruit, or more potatoes. This dish includes red pepper slices which my wife can’t eat and our server relayed that it would be no problem to exclude these from the preparation. After placing our order, things slowed down significantly unfortunately. Though they were not busy-3/4 other tables in & out combined-we didn’t receive any attention from our server for what seemed like an inordinate amount of time. Felt like all the outside tables were left wanting for attention as we noticed no one checked if anything was needed during the long wait for our entrees to be delivered. Servers just hung out inside. Once the food was brought out, we were impressed.
My plate of French toast was huge. Six half slices covered in pecans and bacon, drizzled with caramel sauce. A sight to behold. The eggs were cooked properly and the sausage had a nice herby country flavor. The French toast was delicious with the sauce perfectly complimenting the other toppings. Both the pecans and bacon were very sweet with the smokiness of the bacon a great contrast in flavors. The dish may be too sweet for some but if it sounds good at all, and your good and hungry, I highly recommend it. The hash brown benedict was also huge. Two fried potato croquettes stuffed with ham and cheese, held together I think by sour cream, topped with perfectly poached eggs and a unique take on hollandaise sauce. Instead of being a standard lemony sauce, this version is a mushroom & herb combo. The verdict on this dish was that the sauce was not a good complement to the potatoes and eggs. A bit too much of a clash of flavors. Eggs and croquettes were very good though. The chocolate milk I ordered took a bit of time to arrive and though it looked good decked out like a milkshake with a mound of whipped cream on top, it had little chocolate flavor. While the service issue was frustrating, the food helped make up for it. For breakfast or brunch, this would be a place I would visit again to further explore some of the decadent possibilities.

Had the Louisiana crawfish bow - delicious. Also chorizo omelette - very good. Could have skipped the biscuit beignets - too heavy for me. Excellent food and staff. Went before the 11 am walking tour.
Lauren
The chocolate croissant pancakes were delicious. The sausage had a flavor I was not keen on and the cold brew coffee was terrible but the pancakes were well worth it.

We loved this place so much we ate here 2days in a row. Ask for Chris he is amazing!

First customer on a Sunday morning and was treated as a welcome guest at a friend's house. The coffee was fresh and the Mardi Gras omlet was delish!

The chicken and waffles were good I only wish they gave me more of the homemade syrup! They gave me a mini container, half-full and that waffles sucked it up before I could get to my first bite. The flavor of that syrup was awesome. Would've made that my favorite dish if it were enough in my bag. The omelette was cooked and seasoned just to my liking. Omelettes should be easy to make but a good one is hard to find. This was worth another trip. The potatoes were good but they forgot my onions and mushrooms. They were cooked just right and actually had seasoning on them, which most restaurants seem to slack on their side items. The cinnamon roll french toast was just a cinnamon roll with icing and syrup. Lacked the french toast elements of that's the consistency you're going for. My date wasn't happy with her selection but I thought it still tasted good. The shrimp and grits were great! It was $100 breakfast for two but it was satisfying. The strawberry mimosas were my only letdown, expecting it to be a fresh creation but they tasted like strawberry wine, at best. Not a deal-breaker or maker. Next time I'm in town, I'll dine in. Word to the wise: get there EARLY!!! Expect a wait and a line.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the staff was very friendly and the young lady who took my order kept checking on me during my wait. Keep up the good work!

This is my favorite breakfast spot!!! I always get the Mardi Gras Omelette extra sauce and a bowl of City Gras, but over the past year the customer service has fell off. When I call to place an order for pick up I’ll have to call 20 times before they would answer and when they do answer I’m greeted with nothing but attitude. When I go to dine in they would seat me and then take 10 to 15 minutes to come and take my order. It’s gotten out of hand with the customer service so I just go to the other location now, which is out the way from my house. I wish this location get back to the basics with their customer service bc this is a great spot

If you’ve got the option of all the other places on Magazine, look around a little more. It’s got that “chain” feel that almost nothing else in the area has. The food was fine, but just can’t compare with the standards of New Orleans fare. It was like stopping in an airport restaurant.
Nicole Armstrong
For a chain this place is amazing ! We visited twice while we were in town!
Shopbox Guru
beignets was the best. so moist inside. Omelettes were ok. The only thing that disturbed a lot was hygiene of the place. The table they seated us was all messed with sticky maple syrup, even floors. We told them, they said they would clean but took a while. In the meantime, our clothes, menus, elbows, feet were all dipped in sticky maple syrup. We jumped to another table ourselves. It is important to make sure a business makes sure all is set and ready before they seat the customers.
Karla Munoz
Such a great spot! You can't walk to it from the French Quarter but it's worth the Lyft drive. You also get to see Magazine street which the locals love. Very popular place took us in rather quickly. Delicious food.

So disclaimer before I start, the workers may have been having an off day but We walked in, no one greeted us or anything. We didn't see a sign stating whether to wait to be seated or to seat yourself. I tried to ask an employee and all he would do was mumble as he walked away from me seemingly I'm a rush. Finally we were seated and the guy that refused to stop and answer my question turned out to be our waiter. He was okay as a waiter but it seem like he didn't really want to be there or was just very over worked. The restaurant was crowded so I figured he was just super busy. We ordered and waited for our food when the food came everyone's at the table was good. I did order the bacon lettuce and tomato avocado sandwich. I did forget to tell them that I did not want mayonnaise so that was on me but my sandwich did not have the avocado. I really didn't want to make a fuss because the mayonnaise was my fault and it was just avocado so I was going to just kind of scrape the mayonnaise and call it good, but there was just so much mayo it was impossible. I have worked in restaurants in my teen years, so I know the food being wrong was not the waiters fault at all, But what did upset me was I'm sitting here with a napkin trying to wipe mayonnaise off of my sandwich and he came by and asked if we wanted refills for our drinks and the people with me of course wanted refills on their drinks but he completely ignored the fact that I'm sitting here wiping a sandwich with a paper towel. And I get like people can be kinda weird but as a former waitress if one of my customers was wiping their sandwich with a napkin I would at least ask if something was wrong. But other than that everyone else really did enjoy their food. When we were done, he did ask if I wanted a to go box for the sandwich. I said no thank you and explained why, and he did get the sandwich taken off the bill without me even asking. I am willing to give them another try next time I am in town, Because the ones who did eat their food said that it was really good. So for the experience for that day 3 stars overall, but like I said would try again because everyone has off days. Oh and a little side note. The waiter I would give 4 stars. We did run into him at a completely different restaurant later that night, he seemed to be working there as well. He remembered us and told us hi and was super nice.

Got take out on Easter AM for me and the family. The ready-time was spot on, the to go worked perfectly.
The family were pleased with pancakes and waffles, great bacon. I wanted to RAVE about the lobster with City Grits!! Really really OMG good. The lobster was more texture because the bacon and Andouille sausage were stronger flavors. Grits were creamy but still had chew, absolutely grand. Great way to have Resurrection Holiday brunch.
Mitchells Making Memories
This place was excellent. I had lobster Benedict and it was delicious. If you like a seafood taste, this is the dish to get. My husband tried the broken egg biscuit. It was great. The biscuit was soft, the egg was perfectly over easy, and the chicken and waffles was a hit.
Gretchen Blue
Awesome customer service. The young man with the dreads was wonderful. Custoner service on point. Food delicious as well for my first time. I will be back💙💙💙 …

My first time out since March 2020 and decided to have breakfast with my sister. So very glad we picked Another Broken Egg has our chosen destination. With convenient outdoor seating (less humid than usual), impeccable service from Justin G. (#670) and protocols adhered, I was so pleased to just sit, relax & consume my delicious Lobster/Brie omelette. The gouda cheese grits brought tears with every spoonful❤. Again, thank you Justin for being a delight and wearing a mask. We know you were smiling underneath.

John
We waited about 10 mins for table. Ordered the lobster omelette and crab Benedict. Both were delicious. Nice atmosphere and dining experience
Emily Raulston
Really great food and service. Lots of options on the menu, both savory and sweet. I would say the food is pretty authentic. It’s kind of pricy, but that’s to be expected for where it’s located.
Amanda Winner
This was my favorite meal my 3 days in New Orleans. I got the shrimp and grits and the peach cobbler pancake. I liked the shrimp better than the lobster and grits. Good drinks choices for breakfast too!
JT_Hou
I had the biscuits and gravy with sausage, eggs, and grits. The food was very good and affordable. I can’t remember my waitress’s name, but she was extremely friendly and attentive. Great option for breakfast in NOLA!
Valerie R. Burton
The food was awesome! I enjoyed my Spiked Vanilla Coffee, Biscuit beignets, Shrimp & grits and Lobster & brie omelette.
Pascual Lopez
Good place for selections. Get their abe bloody Mary pitcher and thanks to local laws and regulations you can drink half the pitcher and take the other half in to-go cups.

This place is FANTASTIC! I have eaten here for two special occasions and the staff, as well as, the food were awesome!
Having been in hospitality/customer service over 20, I have to commend management for, obviously, teaching the importance of valuing each customer and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
On top of the service, the food is delicious! The portions are plentiful and I suggest trying something different with each visit.

Waitress was extremely friendly. When she learned it was our first time she brought out beignets on the house.. everything, food, drinks, service, was excellent! The restuarant has mimosas, spiked coffee, and other amazing drinks that were perfectly mixed also
Salma Bakr
Good place for breakfast or lunch. Ordered the salmon eggs benedict and it was delicious. Had it with grits, which was good and light. My friend ordered chicken waffles which came in huge portions and looked yummy. One of the waitresses was kind to offer us to leave our baggage in a corner so that we’re seated well. Loved their coffee mugs.
Kendrick Keys
Excellent service! I dropped my silverware and in a blink of an eye a young lady was there with a new set. Our waiter was patient, knowledgeable, and fast. The food is delicious. Other staff will help without the usual Oh that's not my table. Price is fair for the quality of the food and service. I will come back and refer to everyone.

Cynthia Lamantia
Magazine st location is waaaayyyy better than Lakeview. More outdoor seating. Jules, the waitress was very nice. If there's a wait you can visit some local artsy stores.
Fran Preaux
This place is amazing. Food was excellent. Waitress was very courteous and gave us excellent service.
Johanna Castro
The food presentation was beautiful; I had the cinnamon French toast I believe was the name, and it was super tasty, but the outside of the bread a little hard for my taste, other than that a great experience
Raul Sanchez
Great Place, Get There On Time, Or You'll Be Waiting! Travis, Great Server. Thank You Guy's! "Benedict Burger" & "Benedict Bagel Lox" The best!

Place was not clean; menu provided was wet and had food on it; the table top was the same. Server was nice.
Ramona Morecraft
This is one of the best places I have ever eaten! Service was beyond amazing. Good was absolutely delicious. I had biscuits and gravy. So incredibly yummy. Eggs cooked perfectly and the grits were better than I can even explain. Friend enjoyed her French toast as well. Just go!!!
Jess Ortiz
Came for the first time a couple days ago. The waiter was ok. He didn’t go out his way to make us welcome or never checked in on us. Granted they were SUPER busy and he was helping at the bar. However, the manager was amazing! We thought he was the host. However turns out he is the jack of all trades. He ended up picking up the slack for the waiter. The bartender was so sweet and patient. Even when the party at the next table was being extremely mean to her. The food was delicious and everyone was super great. We will definitely return.
Ed DeJean
Delicious inexpensive breakfast food in a wonderful part of NOLA that also happens to be a southern chain from Louisiana. They have seasonal offerings on the menu that are never a disappointment. Looking for a simple breakfast with a bit of flair then try the eggs Benedict. It's always cooked to perfection.
Matthew Fox
I wish I could have tried so many more things while I was here.
The lobster omelet was amazing, and the lemon blueberry pancakes were perfect without having to add any syrup, rich and flavorful.
Tru Tucker
Enjoyed it all. Great flavor and seasoning..great staff.

So I had some family in town visiting for graduation so we decided to visit Another Broken Egg for brunch. When I got there I noticed an old high school classmate Crislyn. S/o John Ehret class of 2008 in the building. Crislyn was a senior waitresses who was also training a new hire. Not only did she remember all 6 of our different orders but she recommended mimosas for us which was good. I ordered the shrimp and grits and honesty it was one of the best I've had. I also tried the beignet biscuits they were soooooo good. I had to literally keep everyone from eating mine. I only got four just to try and it was mind blowing good. Our food came out very quickly and it was hot. Prices were decent and we got alot of food for our money. You can eat here without breaking the bank. I am definitely coming back soon! I wish they had better parking but hey it's New Orleans. Make sure you order some of those biscuits before you leave. If you have a party with you make sure they order their own lol.
Tina Green
It's not worth waiting in line for 30 mins to 1 hour like we did, the pancakes where over done , the over well egg was runny, the shrimp and grits the flavor was good but the grits was hard this my 3rd time visiting the other two times wasn't like this, my Mimosa was the best thing hands down and the staff is friendly and nice🤷🏾♀️ maybe the cook having a baby day
Charles Arabie
Most enjoyable ... One of the better shrimp and grits we have had!!!
Jenni Atkinson
Great food, and a huge gluten free menu! Rather pricey for breakfast but worth it. I ordered the Floridan Omlette, and requested fruit instead of the grits. So good!
Hadar Sabag
Came in solo 15 minutes before closing and the friendly staff was extremely patient, made me a special veggie dish as I requested and was extremely nice! Special thank you to Tony! Food was great! Thanks for making a hot day in NOLA a fun experience! Highly recommend

Bob Russo
Consistently great fresh food. Excellent service and great vibe to place.

They need more staff on Sundays. The food is great and the lemon blueberry mimosa are great. I was disappointed to get my mimosa in a foam cup because they ran out of glasses. A bit unprofessional. The table next to us when seated wayyyyy before us and we got our food and by the time when paid for the check they were just getting there food. I felt so bad for them before tgey were seat over 30mins before us if not longer.
abimbola adalumo
Great place ,food us awesome staff is friendly. Portions are not the best a tad over priced. Its great otherwise. Shrimp and grits are the bomb!
Google User
Minus 1 star for extremely cold eggs. The eggs taste as if they had been sitting for a long time, and maybe that's why they were cold. Idk but my sons were too. I've never gotten a to go meal and had cold eggs (I'm from Colorado) so that was really odd.
Otherwise good food. Love their bacon, love their toast. Their fruit was the best fruit mix I've had at a restaurant. They had mangos, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and watermelon. All fresh.
Sean Virgo
Great breakfast with a lot of choices and the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly!
Javan McCain
Assisted the corporate team in opening this location years ago and stopped back by to check it out.. still love it.. top notch location.. great customer service.. and excellent food!!
Mischa Kriens
Really enjoyed the omelette with lobster and the ambiance was nice. Service was a little slow and the coffee was super bland (felt like there was no coffee present) so I’ve removed a star for that
Luis A Rodriguez
I love my shrimps and grits. So this was my stop to get them before traveling back home. Food was good and the service was fast and friendly.
Sophia Mckenzie

Jayashree Srinivasan
The choice of hot tea was limited but good. The omelette with goat cheese was value for money. The ambience is relaxed. Service is good.
Sarah Parks
Food was delicious, but service was very slow. It was quite busy but we waited oiver 20 minutes & couldn't find our waiter to get a drink refill & a box to put our food in.
Matthew Parks
Amazing food. Wait staff was friendly and made the dining experience enjoyable.
alex shaffett

Dame Jamal
The food we got from this place is EXACTLY why we came to visit New Orleans. The food was cooked perfectly and super good. Great flavor great prices. And the service of the people there was amazing. They were super friendly and truthfully made us feel very welcome to their city. I will ALWAYS eat at this place when I'm in town
mishelle phillips
Great brunch menu. Love their food! Server forgot to place our order of omelette and it took long to get out.
I really liked the mimosa and shrimp & grits!! Amazing food.
Mark Johnson
OMG. So probably the best casual breakfast place we have been in NOLA. You need to have a bloody mary there and everything they serve is very fresh and delicious.
Ted Soldaat
Extensive breakfast menu, food was delicious and service was great!
Vic Hop
First time visiting the restaurant. The food was prepared decent. Nothing was over or under cooked. The potatoes were good and the best item on the plate. The sausage patties were hand-made and thick. That was a plus, but they tasted like a cross between sausage/hamburger with the beef winning out. Friendly staff and good service. I may have ordered the wrong dish.
Katrina Griesenhofer
I only gave it a 4 star and not 5 cause the hosts said it was 15-30 minutes wait wasn’t bad. But she didn’t take my number down right so I never received the text from the restaurant so that we can be seated. And waited longer. As I processed to ask the host how much longer, they ask me my name and told me they texted me but I never received it. Also, the waiter never asked if we wanted a to go back. But the food wasn’t bad. And probably will come back if I am ever in New Orleans again.
MzLinz Nate
Staff was friendly and food was good. Will go again. Cranberry mimosa was great. Just be prepared to wait because they were busy.
Brendie K
Wonderful breakfast! I had the Broken Egg Biscuit Sandwich with potatoes. The biscuit was tasty, the gravy was creamy and the chicken tenders were plentiful and delicious! My husband typically sticks to traditional eggs and bacon breakfasts but he branched out and got the Mardi Gras omelet. It was divine! I don't eat seafood often but wow, this was an amazing omelet! It was not fishy at all and it tasted so so good!
April Phillips
Nothing bad to say about this place the food was phenomenal the service was extra phenomenal. Our server was very attentive and made us feel right at home. Sadly I cannot remember his name. I ordered crab cake benedict and I also had shrimp and grits to go. It was my first time & won't be my last . Looking forward to bringing all my friends & family to this wonderful place .
Jonathan Bress
Food was good service was outstanding definitely recommend!!
Amy Posey
This was our BEST meal in NOLA. We had a crab cake Benedict and a mardi Gras omlette along with brunch cocktails. Everything was incredible!! Food was perfect! Our waitress was Keira. The courtyard was beautiful!
Tony C
Wow, great food, an amazing charismatic server named Keira (Kee) she was so awesome... I would recruit her in a minute if I owned a restaurant or any other business for that matter. The food was amazing, but she made the visit 100%.
Colleen Welch
Amazing food. Yahna, our server, was an absolute pleasure and so friendly. Can't wait to go back for great food and Yahna, for great service.
Nicole Gamble
AMAZING! My mother came to town and I wanted her to try the Lobster and citi grits. They were beyond good! I had the Lobster Brie and champagne Omelet, with a side of chicken tenders. OMG I love their tenders so much, they are addictive! The mimosas are absolutely EVERYTHING and one of my favorite servers is Keaira set the mood off right! ABE is a fun spot with Spectacular food, service, and breakfast cocktails. I highly recommend 💙

My fourth visit to New Orleans and this breakfast nook is a hidden gem! We didn’t have just one waiter, every employee that walked past our table spoke and ensured we were satisfied. The food was GREAT! This is the place to go to start your morning off right!!

Delicious food, so mamy varieties of eggs Benny and egg dishes. Friendly service. What's not to like. Get here early on weekends for quicker eating.

Had the Mardi Gras omelette and it was excellent.
Samona Wilson
Definitely was worth the wait. Food is delicious. Staff very polite. Everything was incredible! You must try .. you will not be disappointed!
Edva Francois
The food always delicious and great service
My all time favorite place for Shrimp and grits!
Claire Cotts
Food was delicious! Our server Fabian was awesome, would for sure come back!
Isam Taylor
What a wonderful culinary treat for your tastebuds...just image the signature dish of "City Grits" as you have a leisure breakfast or brunch while the exterior seating fans push away the Mississippi humidity or drape "Stan's Mardi Gras Omelette" on your tongue @ an cooler inside table...it's not just "Another Broken Egg," it's great food!
M W
Staff was friendly, the wait for seating was long, wait for someone to take our drink order was long, food took long. The food and drinks were delicious. There must have been a staffing issue of some kind. And my food was topped with whip cream, which noticeably sat a while as the cream quickly quickly melted once it made it to my table. My eggs must have sat a while under a heating lamp as well, they were tough.
Hopefully, they get back into the swing of things.....
Debra Mills
Large selection of breakfast items also the BlackBerry and the blueberry grits were great.
LaDonna Harris
Abided by C-19 guidelines! Service was amazing, mood and atmosphere was a vibe, food was in my opinion very well prepared with a splendid presentation. Bacon was so crisp and juicy, eggs were scrambled well, and my waffle was still warm on the inside even after syrup was poured on it. I recommend this spot to anyone who loves brunch or an early morning outing for the family or spouse. Definitely eat outside when the day is one of those beautiful cool breeze New Orleans days.
Alex Tonu
Service was great, not wait times early Sunday morning. Food is nothing special and was served at room temperature. Good atmosphere to hang out however in very quaint neighborhood.
daniel baker
We had ordered to go because of Corona virus. And Google said that was the only option... however Once I to pick it up I notice. That they were doing dine in as well. It took about 30 min. When we got our food .. crab cake eggs Benedict, shrimp and grits, and pancakes.... got back to the hotel with it.. the food was really good and worth the wait.. its been a long time since I've had hollandaise and perfectly poached eggs. The crab cake was delicious. The grits were cooked right. Only complaint I will make was they forgot about my partners eggs and bacon. Honestly we didn't need it after all that food. Yet we paid for it so.. because of the Quality of the food .. it was worth it.
Larry Loorya II
The Food was great, the server was a really nice guy. However the overall experience was subpar. With it not being busy it took over 5 minutes to greet us. We waited over 45 minutes for are food from the time we ordered it. Might give them another try.
Clarissa Wachenfeld
Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, delicious food!
Elizabeth R
First time here and our experience was five stars! The location is nice. Everything around the area is so vintage and so New Orleans. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is something to experience. Our host was very welcoming, the staff is awesome and our server was extremely sweet and took great care of us! The food was phenomenal! They have a gluten-free section to choose from for those with good allergies. I would recommend the beignets! They come in bite size pieces with a honey marmalade sauce.. So delicious!
Trey Johnson
Long wait to get in, and even longer for the food to come out. Took nearly 45 minutes from ordering to get our 2 meals. Luckily, the food was delicious. My wife has the Crawfish bowl and I had the scallop omelet. Both were fantastic.
Catie Vodicka
Had a delicious breakfast here!!! My husband ordered the lobster & Brie omelette and it was divine! I had the smoked salmon Benedict which was very good (though-hint to chef-the bagel should be toasted not just warmed) and the service was lovely. Prices are spot-on for the quality of fare and good service! We will definitely return.
Mario Eslava L.
Excelent... that's all
Bobo Bone
I had a great 1st time experience at Another Broken Egg....Our server Fabian was a awesome help by recommending the BEST EATS! The Southwest Scrambler and Country Fried Steak was out of this world ☺ The manager Justina was so sweet and blessed us with some delicious Beignets for our first time in NOLA welcome! We will most definitely come back!☺
Jess
We just went a few days ago. The food was really good. Its just the service that lacked. It was not busy at all and we still had to wait longer than expected to order our food. Its the little things you know. Like no spoon, cream or sugar for my coffee. Having to get up and go find my own because our server wasnt around. For the price of coming here Ive had better service at other places.
Cailin Swingle
Number 1: the food was great. Unfortunately our party of five waited over a half hour for 4 of our dishes to arrive (Monday for brunch) and our fifth dish came 45 after we ordered. And rather than communicating the issue we had to check on it ourselves. That single dish was comped. Wouldn’t risk it if you’re in a hurry or if you want to enjoy a meal with friends, simultaneously.
Ashanna Fuller
Very good breakfast!
Alex Orchilles
This place is amazing! I came here about two years ago and tried out the Crab Cake Benedict and the Shrimp ‘N Grits. From what I recall, both were amazingly delicious and some of the best dishes I tried on this weekend trip to New Orleans. I definitely recommend this to anyone in the area! If you’re looking for a breakfast/brunch spot - this is it!
Lorena C
Extensive menu, good options for varied diets, clever drinks. Parking can be a challenge on the weekends and long waits. I've had better service outside but the company and quality of our meals made a great time.
Gia Sorini
CJ was amazing and so helpful! Great experience and food! Loved the blueberry infused mimosa and the gluten friendly options were helpful
Shelley
I was excited to try this place as I've heard good reviews. However, the service was disappointing. Took forever for our food order to come out. The server never came over to give us updates or apologize for the long wait time. Once the beignets were brought out, they were not edible because they were raw in the middle. The only saving grace was that mostly everyone's food was good once we did get our breakfast. One exception was the burger, it was overcooked and more like a hockey puck than a burger.
Clarence Wilson
The food is excellent..the server we livefrom the bar area was professional and the lady who seated us was welcoming and inviting. our waitress Kirsten C. Service was .excellent. ordered the city grits..off the chain./ daughter ordered Benedict burger she cleaned her plate. I saw her burger and decided to order a cheeseburger with bacon myself..wife ordered the southern benedict the only complaint was that the ham was quite salty but she said will order again without the ham..she just put the ham on the side and enjoyed it with city grits..awesome time.. we live in the neighborhood always a place to come for breakfast/brunch/lunch.
T Wilson
This place has the best shrimp and grits I have ever tasted! It was flavorful and spicy!
Tawanda Brown
Love, Love, loved the food. I arrived in New Orleans and my friend took me to breakfast here. The food was very rich. They had a great selection. I settled on the spinach scambled omelette and the city grits with their house speciality medium roast coffee. Service was excellent. Loved our waiter who went over the menu with us. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. Highly recommend as a great breakfast spot.
Chrishante
I think my server name was jerred, he has been working there for the last 3 months ! He was an AMAZING server , and was very attentive!
The shrimp and grits did not taste right , it didn’t have the same color that it always were . We were disappointed, maybe it’s a new recipe but it was the whitest grits that I’ve ever seen .
Above all customer service made the trip not wasteful
Sergio (sirj8080)
We have been here for breakfast twice. The first time was so good there was no debate the following morning. The second time was even better. The staff are great, the location although tucked away, is perfect, the food is simply amazing. There is no doubt that the next time we stay in NOLA we will be close by.
David Villanueva (DVJazz)
Found this spot down the street from a Starbucks. Reviews seem to be good so decided to go in. Glad we did!! Food is excellent and the service is quite quick. They text you when your table is ready, so it allowed us to do a little shopping. My kiddo is a picky eater, but she loved it! Great place, Great food!!!
Michael Leisure
When we come to New Orleans we ensure we try out new places. This place is amazing! Couldn't be happier with our service and food. Thank you Rhianna for making our breakfast great. Hope to be back on our next trip.
Darielle S.
This location is nice. The food was good and the service was decent. There's always the dance of whether a server is away to not be bothersome or figuring out of they forgot about you. Couldn't really tell for a while... But the food and the atmosphere were both nice and I would recommend this location. Great specials specific to Louisiana.
Logan Laite
Good rancheros, good french toast.
Egg Benedict could be better, eggs were undercooked, and the hollandaise is also very bland.
Overall good breakfast place, not a fan of the potatoes (they are always luke-warm and a little soggy), services is ok.
I think the kitchen is the saving grace of this place, keep up the good work.
Milan Davis
CB was a great server and gave excellent recommendations on what to order. I had the huevos rancheros which was delicious, and the drinks were strong.
Honest Foodie
Had a great server, it was a downtime but he was still attentive while getting his other duties done. The breakfast was great and the drinks were delish. We had waffles, fresh fruits, eggs over easy, and other tasty treats. Thanks for a good experience i have been back twice with same results.
Adam DeGiorgio
Great food, great coffee, great service. The only complaint I would have is we were told 1 hour 30 min wait and only took 40 min. Probably lose a lot of guests not quoting accurately.
EW L
This place is a great breakfast place! Our waitress was energetic and fun. She really made us feel like her only table, when we know we weren't. The food was great! If you don't mind a little wait, it's well worth it for this little brekky place.
Kim Inman
The service was quick and friendly, and the food was great. The meal sizes are very large for the price - the biscuits and gravy comes with eggs, sausage, and potatoes for just over $10. Compared to other brunch restaurants in the area, they have a larger menu of both food and drinks.
Peggy Brandt
This is a bustling business. Food was great. Sweet bread french toast for me and my husband had blackberry grits and an orange and cranberry muffin. Yum. This is a take your time place. Service wasn't fast, but a friendly staff that will chat for a moment to give must see advice to a tourist if so much better than fast service with no smiles.
Aaron Morgan
Great place to get brunch before 11am.
Tony Matthews
Worth the visit. Great service here and very hearty local food (grits galore)
George Lyman
Breakfast today. Loved the service and food. Good coffee, eggs Bennie and French toast. Staff is happy and so are we.
Giorgina Nadas
It's in a trendy part of "Uptown" and it delivers good food and quantity. I lean towards less fats and they had one dish for me. So, this place is not for dieters.
Laurel Faircloth
Wonderful food... great service!
Skye Robinson
My husband, myself and our 3 year old daughter were visiting from Baton Rouge and let me say that from start to finish our experience was a great one. Our waitress CB was the bomb.com She even took the time and gave our daughter a tour around the restaurant when she became fretful.
Its a 10 out of 10 for me🙌🏽
Steven Habib
A great breakfast/brunch restaurant in the Garden District with a nice patio area with comfortable chairs. The food was great, but it did take a while to make it to the table. Our waitress was very kind and courteous and the cinnamon roll at the end was delicious.
Tst Mkr
Not a bad spot to grab some breakfast food. Took a star off because service was a little wonky and servers seemed a little apathetic, could have just come on a bad day though. Food is decent but not as much of a wow factor as some close by competitors such as Ruby Slipper or Surreys which I would recommend first. This restaurant is better as an easily accessible option for neighborhood folk.
Jada English
Went there for takeout breakfast this morning and the service was amazing. I got my food quickly and staff was very friendly. Especially Sean who helped gather my food and coffees. Besides that the food was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!
Ree Cee
WORTH THE WAIT!
My husband and I discovered Another Broken Egg because there was a 2 hour wait at another restaurant we wanted to go to.
We waited 45 min to an hour here, but it was well worth it!
My husband raved about the chicken and waffles from the very first bite!
The fried green tomatoes and crabcakes were divine.
The kitchen was backed up, but the the staff in the front of the house was so great, you didn't realize it.
Our server, Shereen, was lovely. She was very attentive
The district manager, Shelly, came over to chat and take our order.
We will definitely come again when visiting NOLA!
Whitney Sampleton
I went to this location as a vacation during covid and ordered the crawfish étouffée omelette and the seasonal blackberry stuffed French toast. This was an excellent first experience for New Orleans. I don’t even like French toast and this blew me away. The beignets were also a great pairing with their honey marmalade. Definitely something to try again. The wait staff were great and personable and my highest compliments to the chefs.
Natasha Jones
CB was a great server & very personable! The food was great, especially the Bourbon Street Pancakes!!! I will be back!
Marcie Davila
Food was great! Service was SO bad. Our food took close to 45 minutes to come out. We didn't get all of our food together-and had to ask several times for the remaining items. I asked for syrup as soon as I received my pancakes, and was almost finished with them before actually getting syrup. We really wanted to love this place, but you can't have good food with horrible service.
Khayri Howell
It was alright. The manager is really why I gave it a 3 star rateing. She's nice and all, but working in the restaurant business myself, it was just a little too difficult for her to seat us. Especially since we got there first and somehow they sat another party before us, which was pretty annoying to see. Plus, my sister says the eggs themselves weren't seasoned well, and they didn't even put salt or pepper on my potatoes, So Ehh pretty bland...However the host was awesome 👌🏽
Alexjandra Zayas
Great brunch and great service. The Bourbon St Pancakes will blow ur mind! Classics with a fun twist!
Chris Pinuelas
Best breakfast ever! The pancake flight is amazing. The selection of omelettes is the most varied ever and delicious too! Ask for Amber...great waitress. Can't wait to come back!!!
Maverick Farr
My favorite breakfast/brunch spot when on the go. The boys enjoy it too. The menu has just enough for anyone. Portions are good, coffee is great.
I love the Eggs Benedict from here. When the boys and I go, they both clean their plate!
Sabrina Gray
I loooooved it ...food is so good
Silver Veloz
Came upon this place walking up and down Magazine Street during a recent visit to New Orleans. There was a little bit of a wait, as they were busy. It was a warm day, so it was a nice refreshing place to sit and eat. We enjoyed our meal and would come back. It was a very relaxing place. There is inside and outdoor seating.
Raynette Cason
Although, a slight wait, the staff acknowledged our presence, the server greeted us and gave suggestions for the different meals offered. The food was good and the staff was excellent. The Mardi Gras omelette was very tasty. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was awesome. Cudos to all of them! I will definitely go back.
I guess when comparing to the la petite grocery, which I will never go to again. I choose ANOTHER BROKEN EGG!
Jehad Odeh
The staff is always amazing. Food came our in a timely manner. Everything we ordered was fantastic.
Fredo Barrott
Food quality was pretty good. There is usually a wait to get in. We waited about an hour to get in and even though the food quality was good, it was not really worth the wait. Prices are definitely good.
Mz. Myah
Great breakfast spot. Need to open one in Decatur or Stone Mountain. I compare the ones here in Atlanta to the one that I've been to in New Orleans and they really don't compare. The portions are completely different and of course you get more in New Orleans and it seems like they place a little bit more attention is the presentation of the meals. Food is good though. Be sure to use the no wait app to get a place in line. Wait times csn be in excess of 45 minutes to an hour depending on when you go. #Enjoy
Douglas J. O'Brien
Definitely a place where the locals eat! Inspired and freshly prepared breakfast entrees and sides. The Mardi Gras omelette with City Grits was fantastic! We did have to wait to be seated and our order took some time come out. Not a good place if you're in a hurry.
Karen Lemoine
We were seated quickly, our server (Travis) was delightful, the menu choices were interesting, and the food was delicious!
They could stock a better quality champagne though
alejandro mendoza
Great service, delicious food and our server CB was awesome. Normally I have experience slow service and angry servers, but at another broken egg cafe, the atmosphere was very welcoming. For our first time visiting this place, I can honestly say that I will be going back next time am in town.
elaine c
Great breakfast! The staff was friendly, the service was good and the food was tasty.
Kheala Moore
The place is amazing and the girts are buttery and cooked perfectly. The only reason I did not take a point off is because my server was great. We had a little confusion about the tips and money and the manager has been impossible to reach.
Bryant Ritchie
Great and friendly service. Great atmosphere inside or out. And the food was amazing. Will definitely be a regular spot when Im in town.
Beau McBride
Loved everything about this place. Food was excellent, drinks were fun and reasonable. We did have to wait a bit longer than normal and because of that, our drinks were comped. Highly recommend for an excellent breakfast!
Jon Addison
Good food, hearty servings sizes, friendly staff. Did I mention that the prices make reasonable seem like it benifits the consumer. If you have the patience, I recommend eating outside in the courtyard. There is a HUGE oak tree that provides ample shade as well as a feeling of peace and relaxation.
Don Gib
Very friendly staff and the grits and shrimp was the best I have ever had.
Flo Battie
Wait was long, service was okay food was good nothing exceptional like how everyone was bragging, yes it was good just heard some many ppl saying it's a MUST TRY🤔 Maybe a 1 time thing for me to much to go through just to eat at there locations (parking) (wait time), was so hungry didn't take a picture of our food! …
Lishawn Jones
Amazing service! Kristy is the best bar tender on this side of the river! Request for her special drink 😋😉Food was worth the wait and amazing. Can’t wait to come back to enjoy my mornings here again! …
Adelaide Steedley
Great food, great vibe, great location, open early, very affordable. Unexpected local cuisine was delicious.
Jaco Pretorius
Awesome friendly staff. Best burger I had in NOLA
Tom Klingbeil
Great breakfast, with some very interesting menu options, whish I could have tried more!
Julita Hoyt
Had brunch at the Magazine location. Our waitress was very helpful and well as the manager. We didn't have any problems, we just had questions that the manager was more than happy to answer. Everything was delicious.
Tina Jefcoat
I absolutely love this place. Today was the first time the experience wasn't stellar. My food was cold but they made it right. As always it was super busy which I think lead to the poor service and cold food BUT the minute I complained, they made it right! The hot food was excellent as usual.
Laura Tetrick
Prices weren't bad for portions and ingredients. Main thing: splurge for the "city grits"!! They're around $2.60 extra but totally worth it. They have Gouda, bacon, and green onions and they're fantastic!
lakisha ferguson
💜💜Man oh Man the food at this place was MARVELOUS. Wanted a brunch place to go to, my sister came up with this place. We were told the wait would be about 45 mins, possibly so long bc the rain had taken away some available outside seating. The wait wound up being well over an hour, we didn't leave inline other parties... The wait would Definitely b worth it. I ordered the praline French toast with eggs and bacon. Literally the best toast and eggs I've ever had!! Everything was beyond DELICIOUS and tasted Sooo Fresh!! If ur in New Orleans u MUST come here!!
It's well worth it (minus that underestimated wait time)
Wes Beez
Indoor and outdoor seating, spaced out for social distancing. Food was very good. A little pricey for me. Spent about $60 for 2 mimosas, and 2 shrimp and grits
Haylee Cameron
The food here is amazing and our experience was great. Our waiter was kind and attentive and made our meal very enjoyable. I would love to visit here again the next time I'm in NOLA
yvonne farmer
Great food and we had really good service. The tables are a bit close but it is Uptown. I am planning to go back when it is a little cooler and enjoy the patio seating.
Myra Ashley
I loved everything, including our server Dane! (My apologies if I spelled his name wrong!) This was my third but my husband first time visiting. We also ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast (not pictured) it was definitely our favorite!!!
Kenny Jones
Not sure if this was just an issue the day we went or not, but the poached eggs came out hard. We told the staff who brought two more, one which was done right (runny) the other was hard. The people next to us had the same issue. Grits are lacking flavor. Rest of food and bloody Mary's were great.
Charmanne Dezara
Really good! I enjoyed my food, the waitress was sweet and very helpful. Only thing I had an issue with was my food was a bit oversalted for my palate. But I'll definitely be back!
Carmen Shirey
Great, tasty breakfast. Large potion. Nice waitress. Good prices.
Katy Burk-Cheema
Loved this place. Had such amazing service. We had the best waitress who was originally from brooklyn. I can't remember her name but if you're reading this, you are the world's best for waitress!
ANU Lion
This food was excellent and the service is friendly and very kind! Calm quiet to spent time with your loved ones and get an excellent meal! Lobster omellette with unsweetened raspberry tea was exceptional!
Brittany Cadogan
Despite the long lines, Food is amazing. Bottomless mimosas are to die for!! great brunch place..
J. Tal
Fantastic crabcake bennidect. Fantastic service. I recommend the blueberry mimosas.
Daniel Haldeman
I would give 4.5 stars if possible. Food was delicious and service was great! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. This is my first google review, and I was compelled to leave a review for future travelers to check this place out.
Darrenique billeaud
The food was good! Our server Krislyn was very nice! Great customer service!!!
Antonio
Carolyn was very nice and professional. Gave me excellent advice on the menu. Try the spicy bloody mary and Hashbrown Benedict.
tiffany pendleton
First time going on my first trip to New Orleans. I had the shrimp and grits and they were DELICIOUS! Nice quiet atmosphere and friendly staff. If I ever make it back to New Orleans I will be back.
Katie Gandy
Food was good, but a little pricey and the wait is very long. If you're in a hurry and looking for a quick bite to eat, this is not the place. If you're looking for a good, quality brunch, then I would recommend.
Dewanda Smalls
My first time visiting, I enjoyed the atmosphere. My waiter was very informative of the menu. There's a vast variety of dishes to choose from. I would definitely try the city grits.. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 …
Ken Ellison
My breakfast was great!
meggan clark
Such interesting combinations of food and soooo delicious. Lobster and brie omelette is so great! They have a courtyard with a huge tree and plenty of fans. Dogs are welcome in the courtyard. Favorite breakfast spot.
matina israel
All I can say is delicious. Our server forgive me I forgot his name he was the best 👌 I love this place ❤ my new favorite hideout for breakfast
Steven Bitner
This location seemed to be lower quality than other ABE locations. The seating situation was also quite bad since every thirty seconds or so the door would open and cold wind would blast is for the next 5-10 seconds as the door eased its way shut. Making the door only open inward would have prevented the door from scooping the wind. The omelettes just didn't look or taste as good as we are used to.
Jonathan J
Food was delicious, everything on the menu looks great. Must provide proof of vaccination to dine in.
Nanette Gibson
Crazy wonderful menu! Very accommodating for our large family gathering.
Janet Carroll
Good service. Nice location on ground level. Good shrimp and grits.
Gabriel Shabtai
Great service, fun welcoming atmosphere. Food was good I got the chicken and waffles. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice breakfast/brunch
Wendy M
We sat down with only 2 other tables full. However it toke 20 minutes for breakfast. When I complained I was told the delay was"they were making the butter" . The food was very good, just don't be in a rush, or odd any special butter.
Lucas Rifkin
This is a chain place and it's all right, it might be worth considering if there weren't countless other better places around. If this was in a town of 5000 in rural Kentucky it might be the best around and all the rage. Certainly better than waffle house or McDonald's for breakfast, maybe a toss up with dennys because it least that's always open. But fortunately this is New Orleans and I'm not faced with a choice like that.
Bridget falcon
The Asparagus in my omelet was the stems and nearly raw. We didn't get egg whites in omelet as ordered. Difficult to eat healthy here. The kids plates were perfect and delicious so there's that.
TD MLIBERTY
Excellent food. Good service. A must stop if in New Orleans
Angela Abadie
This cafe was wonderful. My waiter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the lobster and Brie omlette with potatoes. It was the best omlette I've ever eaten!
Kid Cloud
First time here and we sat inside love love loooved the coffee and the cups were adorable hade to take one home eggs perfectly cooked lobster amazing great service refills before I was looking around to ask love the food great service only about a 20 min wait witch is fine because of the convenience of the text when table is ready and the perfect location on magizine with just enuf in walking distance to help the time pass will most definitely be back p.s. if your in dire need for a bloody marry this is the spot
Craig Green
The food is good but service is ok. If you go without expectations you will really enjoy it. Otherwise order take-out if you want to try it because it was recommended.
Toni Lamerson
No other place like this one! You may have a wait... but it's so worth it! The best Brunch! Try the City Grits, Lobster & Brie Omelet and the Banana Foster Pancakes!! DELICIOUS!!!
Jd Nunn
What can I say about Another Broken Egg that hasn't already been said? Their coffee and mimosas are perfection as you recover from a typical night in New Orleans. Massive choices on then menu but you can't skip out on the andouille sausage. Add it to your skillet or just order a side of it, just don't miss out. Plus, it's in an adorable courtyard on Magazine Street in the Garden District.
Embracing Greatness
Service and food is always great. Expect for my visit on October 4th 2018 the service was bad , had to look for the server and food took longer to come out. This was unusual for Another Broken Egg. I’ve been a repeat customer since 2016.
Lucas
Super good food, I had the blackberry stuffed french toast, and my SO had the Chocolate Belgian waffle. both dishes are super good, would come again!
Steve Stathes
Curte and cozy. Interesting variety of food. Everything we had was really good. The grits were wonderful. Great bloody Mary. Very good service (professional and friendly)
Lisa Williamson
Thanks Chris for your kind service at ABE Cafe
jeimmy levey
We loved the outdoor seating! It was such a lovely atmosphere. The food we got were big portions. Make sure you are hungry!
laneshia edwards
Food was great prices were amazing. Waiter had on a dirty bandage reaching over everyones food. Also saw the waiter picking at the bandage and did not wash his hands
Kristi Ditmer
Yummy Peach Bellini, best Coffee with Bailey and Jameson, loved my omelet and berry pancakes! Biscuit beignets were okay. Love the outdoor seating that is available!
Mahir Kothary
They have some wonderful and comfort brunch food, with really good service. A nice fun place to eat when you're roaming around their garden district. Must try the chocolate waffles and bruschetta omlet
Brent Moore
DELICIOUS!!! Are here multiple times on our trip! Had some local foods like lobster omelette and brisket Benedict but also some traditional things like French toast that was AMAZING!
Carolina Perez-Siam
Takes a very long time for the food to come out. Then when it does its cold. Food is quite average. You're better off going to The Ruby Slipper. Servers are very nice however.
Brandon Smith
Great food, gluten friendly/vegan friendly. Don't forget to ask for. A menu, blueberry bread french toast is a must try.
Shawn Maxwell
Great friendly service. Food was A-mazing! I ordered Lobster & Brie Omelet w/city grits...my friends tasted & loved it too.
Sumaiya Abdullah
The staff very friendly and nice. Food is delicious! Breakfast portions are large with many tasty options . Look forward to coming back
Patricia Doyle
Food was really good And reasonably priced, waitresses were nice and attentive. The building itself was a little run down but all in all a good experience.
Victoria Vestal
It was a little under style but the food was good as always and the waiters were very attentive and well very polite
chris taccone
We were in nola for a few days and by far the best breakfast we had while there. Hell it beats alot of breakfast places in socal also. The people were fantastic. There is a little wait for the food but well worth it.
Felicia Dewey
They were amazing! We were out having brunch with the dogs and it started to pour! They made us a spot in the corner out the rain and it was really sweet!
James Librande
Wow! Can't go wrong here. 45 wait for table, but worth every minute and more. Tony was our 5 🌟 server. Excellent brunch! …
Maris Tippett
Amazing breakfast! They also have a great selection of food. I wish this place was near me I’d go there every weekend!
Brian Jones
Fantastic customer service, clean atmosphere, very friendly staff, and awesome food selections.
Cristal Robert
Very good service ...the waitress was very attentive. We order the shrimp n' grits with a side of eggs and a half order of beignets it was great!
Stephen LaGuardia
In the restaurant that used to be called cafe rani, another broken egg has moved in nicely. They have good breakfast with a wide variety of lunch items available. Indoor and outdoor seating with minimal wait times.
sonya schwarz
Love, love, love! Great food and service! So clean with a beautiful industrial style. Busy because it's good but you don't feel crowded or forgotten.
Julia Castro
Went in party of 5 for brunch, food was great! Server was friendly and knowledgeable. No waiting but it was a Wednesday. Must go again
JKaul Kinder
Food was decent service not so much I ran out of coffee shortly after I got my meal and never got it refilled
Christina Hall
I frequent this brunch spot often. It's my favorite.
Amber Skaggs
The best breakfast options, absolutely everything we've had has been delicious!! Always bring our friends from out of state here!
Frankie Morales
The food is excellent and the service is even better
Ps. Ask for “CB” she was the best!!!!!!!
Taylor Spence
3.5 really. Our waiter was a delight, the food good, the bathroom revolting
Josh Williams
The food seems like it would have been great, but it took forever and came out cold when it finally did. I think someone forgot our order after it was cooked.
Shelly Thompson
I loved my smoked salmon breakfast. Delish
Chance Mahon
Great food & good service. We sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and polite. The food was excellent. Great place for breakfast or brunch!
Jenna Rolla
Favorite place for breakfast in New Orleans chilled atmosphere and the “Skinny Omlette” will get you feeling right...,highly recommended with a Bellini
Venetia Leak
The food is awesome. Will make sure to visit them again when I come back to New Orleans.
Rob Kuyrkendall

Food was good; Kelsey was a great waitress but the bloody Mary was a let down. The bloody Mary was better when served in the tall glass w/celery & greenbean.

The shrimp and grits is fantastic, as are the eggs Benedict and the omelettes. They also use the "No Wait" app so you can see how many people are in front of you in line.

love this place, hate the prices... the ppl that work at the bar are excuse me worthless. I was ignored for about 20mins until I said something only then did this young black guy help reverse my attitude cause I was ready to walk out and never come back... please do better at the bar...

Cute place but both things I ordered, the lobster omlette and city girts had way too much salt and butter. I'm told this is the southern way though
