We went to celebrate my Friend Birthday, Anatolia Restaurant serving Traditional Turkish,Greek & Middle Eastern delicios food ,Te coffee . We Enjoyed Anatolian appetizer,Turkish lentil soup, Lamb Chops,Iskender Service Ecellent 💯 thank you some much Christine. I can't wait to go back .

I was there when it was empty, but ordered a döner wrap, halloumi, and turkish coffee. All three were very good, came out very quickly, and staff were very friendly. Only disappointment was that I didn't come here before today; I've been missing out!

Beautiful lanterns, lovely menu item selection. We loved everything we ordered. Recommend Iskender, triple platter and yogurt dip. They were understaffed, so with only a few tables the wait times for water and check were longer than desired.

We were a little skeptical when we entered as noone was dining there. We ordered an appetizer and dinner. They did not disappoint! The serving size is generous and the prize is fair. On the down side, $2.45 for a 12 oz can of coke is a bit much. That price with fountain drinks I don't mind. Also the service was "meh". For not being busy the server was not attentive. Overall, a decent experience.

Hands down best Mediterranean food in New Orleans - pita and hummus is spectacular , and their pita bread is perfect. Adana is amazing , gyros are amazing , and the Lebanese iced tea is spectacular! Don’t pass this place up! Atmosphere is lovely, owner is very personable and kind!

Such a gem! The hummus was amazing, and the pita bread was simply out of this world delicious. Hot, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. Really enjoyed my chicken shawarma wrap, and the presentation of everything was great. Can’t wait to go back!

Their entire menu is halal. I ordered the beef shawarma sandwich and fries. The food was delicious and the staff was polite. However it did take some time to get my order, and the sandwich didn't have as much filling as shawarma sandwiches normally do.

I cannot rave enough about this place (Soon to be Anatolia)! Amazing Turkish food and the service was wonderful. Chef Murat is one of the nicest people and does an incredible job making each item on the menu. Their baklava is made from scratch and a must have. So excited for this place and will be back many times to try everything on the menu!

This place is located in garden district on busy magazine street among other shops and cafes. The food is Arab version of Turkish food. The spices and the variety offered is close to Arabic cuisine. The restaurant setting is casual with tables spread out from each other. The menu has many options including few vegetarian plates. The kibby and humus are good however the meat kababs were overly cooked, dry and lacked the flavor. The place got quite busy halfway through our meal and service started to lack. Overall it was an average dining experience.

The hummus here is good. I also like the baba ganoj. But they have many hummus and pita options here. The gyro + hummus is pictured. They also have entrees here. Curry and rice dishes as well as lamb chops. Overall decent sized menu and good service

One word AMAZING!!! Very deliciously prepared dishes! We went there with whole family (5 adults and 2 kids) and everyone one was happy with their orders. This place is now our favorite Mediterranean cuisine in New Orleans. From now on whenever we visit New Orleans we will make sure to make a stop here again. We highly recommend Anatolia Mediterranean restaurant to everyone who's looking for an authentic taste of Mediterranean dishes!

Amazing experience one of the very few actual restaurants and not bars that were open late with veggie options. This place was a gem and a predominantly local hangout. You can tell because the owner knew people's name and came out to talk to each table. Very homey and welcoming. It's a casual place to hang out. The waitresses were all super nice and attentive even when the business started picking up. The food is prepared behind the seating area and in view of the customer. We ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, the falafel wrap, and one other dish plus the kunefe for dessert. Everything and I mean everything was amazing and super authentic. The meat was tender hot and delicious paired with the garlic sauce it was a culinary delight. The kunefe was perfectly sweet and didn't even need the syrup. Great way to wind down with authentic Mediterranean food. While waiting for the kunefe, the waitress gave us Turkish tea for free and paired with the dessert it was perfect. Loved it and will totally come back when I'm in town next time.

Enjoyed the atmosphere & food, I had lamb wrapped in pita w/ s yogurt sauce, Ms had the Falafels, bean soup (requires lots of makeup to make it work) and the lamb hummus appetizer. Pleased oversll, except the soup, service was not an issue. Dinner for 2, no alcohol, came in under $40!

Don’t sleep on this place, it’s better than Mona’s and Lebanon’s. Great flavors, good value, and appreciated attention to detail for carry out orders (the rice isn’t dry and the pita doesn’t seem like cardboard like at other places).

Awesome place for mediterranean food in New Orleans! We had the Pita Hut App for appetizers and I had the Shish Kabob, which came with rice and hummus. Oh, their humus is great and service was also quick and our waiter really nice.

Loved this quaint little gem on Magazine Street. The service was great, my server was very attentive and offered really good suggestions. I ended up getting the sampler appetizer for my dinner. 2 falaffel balls, a fried meatball, hummus, emze, pita and baba ganoush. The dipping sauces were so delicious and so filling. I was so in love with this food that I got a second order for lunch the next day.

Please BE AWARE that they include gratuity with in the final bill that is displayed and yet ask for tip on the next computer screen that the payment is made on. Which means extra money for them. Yes times are hard, but they're hard for every one! Other wise good food. Small portions than expected. But good quality. Nice ambience.

This is my wife and my go-to local Mediterranean restaurant. The food is always outstanding. Their lamb dishes are fantastic, and plenty of great vegetarian items as well. They've done a nice job updating the interior (as of Fall 2021). The staff somehow makes you feel better every time you step inside the restaurant - even if you're just picking up a to-go order!

What an overall amazing experience! The inside of the restaurant was so nice and well done, bathrooms big and clean, food well seasoned and delicious. Portions were decent, and they did the meat just right. Best part was the awesome customer service. We were a big group of guys & one of the owners (I’m assuming) served us and made us feel like we were at home, with a super friendly, joking, mothering feel. We loved her. Was more than happy to do anything she could to make our experience as lovely as possible. She got so happy just because we cleaned up our table a little before we left, and gave us free baklava because she got so happy (which was also delicious by the way). Support this business!

We had an excellent dinner here this evening. We shared the hummus with lamb (served with fresh, warm pita bread) and amazing fried haloumi. We tried the Turkish iced tea, which was refreshing and like nothing we had ever had before. We shared the triple platter with gyros, chicken and beef. It came with rice, hummus and a fresh salad. Again— absolutely amazing flavors! Had to save room for dessert. The baklava was crisp, yet perfectly sweet and nutty. The Turkish kunefe came out warm, the sweet cheese was partnered with the savory, crunchy base and top. It was hard to stop eating! The owner and his staff were so friendly, checking in to see if we needed anything and offering suggestions or answering questions. Definitely highly recommend this gem!!

We were quickly accommodated outside with a party of 6 and a dog. Our server was Jean who was very friendly and anticipated all of our needs and requests. I had the Adana wrap (which i later learned after leaving was made of minced fatty meat from the tail of a lamb), and really did not like it. The meat was very fatty and very hard to chew. It was very tough meat. Maybe over cooked. The hummus inside was very good though. It was just too hard to chew , because it may have been too fatty and / or overcooked. I believe both though. The restaurant is very nice though, and the server was really sweet and friendly.

Went there on my birthday and had a good experience. They gave me a free sweet dish for my birthday. Te chicken shawarma was excellent - highly recommend. No one was in the restaurant at 3pm. The temperature and music were at perfect levels and bathrooms were clean.

Cannot express enough the excellent service and the delicious taste at Anatolia. We visited them today along with our 9mo and he also loved the food and the people, especially the lady who served us. Everything was great. I had the kibby plate. Never tried kibby before and I really enjoyed it. All dinners come with humus and a salad. I will probably become a regular and try lots of stuff on the menu. The turkish tea was also a delightful end to the meal.

Wait staff was both friendly and very helpful with menu items and directions afterwards. Authentic Middle Eastern food; correctly spiced and served with hummus, salad with a tasty light vinaigrette, and dirty rice. My lamb was delicious! Portion at lunch was enough for two meals. Complimentary tea afterwards. Very highly recommended. And I’ll be back! Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

The food was fine. I had the Turkish lentil soup, the falafel sandwich with the garlic sauce and fries and a Lebanese iced tea. The portions were a good size. The soup was filling though bland. The sandwich was heavily pita and the falafel had trouble staying together and were also bland. It was adequate but I doubt I'll return. The service was very prompt and polite. Our server was a curly haired lady who was very knowledgeable and helpful

Anatolia is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in NOLA, although parking can be a hassle sometimes when it's a bit busy uptown. Also, the wait times to get ur order here are kinda long for dine ins; even for appetizers which doesn't really make sense. All in all the food is good, prices are a bit pricey but still reasonable. I would recommend coming here to get a taste of Mediterranean Cuisine just not a regular place to grap a bite.

You can opt for outside seating from where you can see the variety of happennings of the NOLA streets while you are dining! However it smells badly when you sit near the gutters.. Hope they do something to fix that!

Amazing Mediterranean food! We came here with a couple of friends from Israel and they said this is the closest to true homemade Israeli food they got in America! Don’t be fooled by the simple ambiance, this place is great!

I stopped in here for lunch after visiting the Lafayette Cemetery and had a bowl of delicious Turkish lentil soup served with pita on the side. Also ordered a falafel wrap which was also pretty good. Nice place to stop in when visiting the garden district.

I had an awesome experience in Anatolia Mediterranean restaurant. They have an good variety of food, I had feeling that I’m in Turkey, which is really rare to experience. Murat Abi went beyond and above for us, he make sure that everything is in order. Definitely will come back when I’m in New Orleans next time. Recommend for everyone to try this and to feel Turkish hospitality and to try some authentic Turkish meals. PS. If somebody miss KUNEFE, you can have it here, not a lot of restaurants have that.

Recently visited this restaurant and had an amazing experience. Ordered Adana Kebob and Iskender to share with my wife. Adana Kebob was excellent. It was spiced just like back home and made from lamb meat. Writing this review about the food makes me hungry and I just had lunch. This is a must have if you are visiting this restaurant. Iskender was also great however it will be my second choice when I visit next time. Both meals served with bulgur rice, hummus, and salad. Adana Kebob had wraps underneath which soaks up all the nice flavors from the meat so make sure to wrap the meat with those for ultimate flavor. Hummus and bulgur rice was great. I was so full I couldnt get to the salad part of the meal but oh well. We also ordered a desert called Kunefe. This is another must have if you are interested in trying different desserts. It is made with shredded wheat, pistachios, and special cheese cooked in oven and served hot. You have to put the sweet syrup on top and dig into this amazing dessert that you can only find in Turkey. Thank you to the owners for bringing such amazing flavors from other side of the world to New Orleans. Enjoy!

Food is fantastic! However, if you order to go. Check your order before they leave. No tzatziki sauce. It was listed on the menu as part of the meal. When it was missing...i was told we should next time ask for extra. Why would I ask for extra if I didn't even get what I ordered. No help. Lady on the phone basically blamed on me.

Nice turkish cuisine Best if you come on sunday bc the owner himself cooks on sunday and his cooking is AMAZING. The owner is also turkish like me and he is very friendly person I would suggest getting an Iskender and Beyti Kebab. Also, don’t skip on any one of the desserts. Anatolia is the best Mediterranean cuisine in the area. Adana kebab is my favorite dish. pita bread, hummus, bulgur and grilled vegetables comes on the side. It is just excellent combination. I highly recommend it.

So me and my friend arrived really late, almost at closing time, supper high and hungry- the owner (I forgot his name) supper nice let us in opened for us a table and gave us what ever he could. The ovens and the grill were closed already, the staff was about to leave- he brought us all his best Baba Ganush, salads, Frise, pita bread and falafel plates!! We had a VEGAN late dinner!!
