My experience here was.... Good! I ordered the English muffin with bacon, egg, spinach, cheese and red onion and my wife got the buffalo chick pea salad and got the blood orange juice as her drink and I got the tangerine juice as mine. And the food was delicious, I ended up ordering another breakfast sandwich that had to be remade twice but all in all, we had a good experience... Also, we got cupcakes, an Oreo on and the strawberry vanilla... I absolutely loved the oreo, not so much the strawberry vanilla.. it was okay though! 4 stars, thanks Sunflower!

Amazing food for gluten free people. Full Gluten free bakery. I had the Sunflower Cali Sandwich with sunflower seeds. I also had the Sunflower Paradise smoothie. Loved the smoothie. Will be trying another Sandwich next time.

I have a new favorite vegan restaurant in Nashville! The staff was so helpful and kind when I clearly was overloaded with choices and couldn't decide what to order. They are also very knowledgable regarding which menu items are gluten and/or soy free. That have a wonderful variety of baked goods as well as breakfast foods, salads, and sandwiches. The decor and general design of the place is delightful. The building used to be a muffler shop, and now it is a cute vegan bakery.

Wow! I am so impressed with my experience here. I was recently diagnosed with EOE. I'll spare the explanation, but to put it in relative terms I'm allergic to many foods but it isn't an instant allergy, it's a built up allergy so nobody can see what happens when I eat these foods it just destroys my esophagus and makes me feel like I'm dying later. I haven't really gone out to eat since my diagnosis because I get strange looks when I ask if any of my allergens are in any of their meals. I did not get that at all here! I already eliminated the 2 allergies dairy and gluten when I walked in the door but I simple asked about a few others and everyone was so kind and patient with me. I cried a little bit from feeling so much joy and I ordered a meal to eat, a meal to go, a coffee, and 2 cupcakes to take home. I felt like I was in Heaven! I wish I grabbed the name of the girl that helped me, i was so overwhelmed with excitement that i forgot to ask her name. She was seriously the best! Everything was beyond delicious and I felt safe eating it!

Fabulous gluten free bakery sister store of sunflower Cafe in hermitage. My scone was so delicious I ate the whole thing before I realized it. I got several items to go for breakfast all week. Biscuits and blueberry muffins and a smoothie were all good. It's really a celiac dream restaurant.

Great food. The staff very knowledgeable and sweet. We ordered latte, chocolate cheesecake cupcakes, pumpkin crumble muffin, egg sandwich, meatball melt. All over the food was so flavorful. I couldn’t believe it is gluten free and vegan. They also accommodated my nuts allergies. Great place. If you are in town, try it out

I love that all there desserts are vegan and gluten free. The banana nut muffin was my favorite! I have also tried the lemon cupcake, blueberry crumble muffin, and carrot cake muffin. I got the sunflower Cali sandwich. It was delicious! I love that the bread didn't taste like gluten-free. It was a really nice texture. I also tried the macaroni and cheese. It wasn't my favorite but it wasn't bad. Most likely would not get it again.

DELICIOUS FOOD! Saw this amazing place on a YouTube video and it was even better in person. The variety of food, coffee, shakes and dessert were expansive. We tried the burgers, salads, a soup, cookies, smoothie and 2 coffee lattes ( decaf and regular ). We shared our food and everything was tasty and fresh. This is a definite stop if you near Nashville. Everything is Vegan, Gluten free, tasty and priced right. Enjoy

Oh man, Sunflower Bakehouse does it RIGHT! We’ve lived in the south, the west, and everywhere in between and by far, Sunflower Bakehouse has all the best from every place we’ve been to. From meals to sweets and to coffee, everything is prepared with excellence and is so delicious. We’ve got two with Celiac Disease and one with a significant nut allergy. Everyone behind the counter knew exactly what to do. Everything is gluten free which is super nice and helpful. Strong work Sunflower Bakehouse!

Gluten and Soy Friendly for the win!!! Some items do contain soy, so have to ask when ordering. Awesome Baked Goods!!! There's also smoothies, coffee, burgers, and other dishes available. We had German Chocolate Cake, Cookies and Cream Cupcake, Pecan Cake, and Pineapple Parfait. The Pineapple Parfait was the best.

This was some of the best gluten free & vegan food I've had in the country! The breakfast and lunch bakes are next level and the cupcakes and muffins are moist and flavorful. Service was fantastic. We were only in Nashville for one day and after stopping for breakfast, it was so good we came back for lunch/dinner and dessert. When we are back in Nashville, we will definitely be back. Soooo tasty!

This Bakehouse is unique. Specializes in coffee but serves pastries, salads, sandwiches and soups. Friendly and clean along with excellent service. If you are into vegan this is the place to go. I had to laugh when I saw this restroom sign on the Door.

If you are looking for a friendly and delicious place to find reasonably priced gluten-free food this is a must try! I have Celiac and this place was amazing to hang out in and get some work done while enjoying delicious lunch and I had such a positive experience I returned a second day in a row. They have cupcakes, cookies, scones, and cakes which are all gluten-free as well as amazing sandwiches and salads (I personally had the caprese sandwich and thai salad and it was amazing). Definitely a must try!

This was the first of many visits. The restaurant gave off good, happy vibes and the food was so delicious. They have a bakery, soups, salads, Burgers, BBQ among others! Their burgers and sandwiches come with a complimentary side(lays chips, cucumber salad or pickled veggies). Also, their core beliefs are that vegan options should be limitless and there should be more restaurants with gluten free options for those who experience food intolerances and celiac disease! To say that I am IN LOVE with the concept and beliefs of this restaurant is just skimming the surface! Samantha was super helpful and very friendly! Definitely go and ask for her, you won’t be disappointed.

I'm back in town and told them about this place. We got the new cupcake, lemon curd as well as the PB and chocolate, carrot cake (best one) and chocolate cheesecake. Good service. Plenty of space to eat. I enjoyed their cafe/bakery and the menu selection. I went in for the cupcakes - moist and good. I asked for the ingredients in the cake and the lady at the counter got offended. Just because I asked for the ingredients doesn't mean I know the recipe. They are two very different concepts and no way for me to possibly know the combination of flours used to make the beautifully done decadent desserts. I'm giving you 4 stars because of the lack lustre in the personality of the counter-lady. Make sure she knows the difference between knowing the ingredients and sharing the recipe. Love the old garage appeal too. I'll be back through next time I'm in town.

Great options for the whole family. The atmosphere was bright and airy and the staff was attentive and helpful. The food came out fast and was delicious! I enjoyed my Ceasar kale salad and soup as it was bursting with flavor. The burger was good as well. They were voted best dessert in Nashville and the endless options showed why. They also have a lot of gluten free options! Would recommend.

My husband and I stopped in here on our way through Nashville. We were so impressed. We’ve been to quite a few vegan, gluten free bakeries and this is the best. We got scones and coffees for breakfast and cupcakes for later. Aside from their food, the staff was incredibly friendly and funny. Highly recommend stopping in.

When I found out about the Sunflower Bakehouse I knew I had to get over there and try the lavender vanilla cupcake. I went in the afternoon, so unfortunately they were out of that flavor (and told me I would have better luck getting it if I came early in the day.) I went for the carrot cake cupcake instead and it was fantastic! I had a dark brew that was really good, as well. I will definitely be making a return stop -- both for the lavender cupcake and for one of the sandwiches off of their extensive menu.

This bakery is a place of fairy tales! I can believe how much vegan items they have, and most of the time you can't tell it's vegan! The atmosphere is cheery, the help- delightful. And the location is well thought out. I made sure to visit this place multiple times while visiting Nashville. It's well worth the visit!

This place is vegan, gluten free, and definitely laced with crack. Crazy delicious. Gluten free anything is always just a little sad, but not here. The Caprese sandwich doesn’t disappoint, nor do the bakes or pastries. Forgot I wasn’t eating gluten.

It's so hard to find vegan restaurants that are also gluten free too. So when my husband and I went here, we stocked up! We did dine in for breakfast and ordered dinner and dessert too go. I got the omelet bake which was phenomenal and my hubs got Biscuits and Gravy and a breakfast sandwich. It was all really good so we got food to go. Regina was also great because I emailed her about corn allergies and she got back to me with all the information I needed. I would go here again if we lived in the area.

Full Gluten Free & Vegan Menu — even if those don’t apply to you this place hosts the best blueberry muffin I’ve consumed to date. The breakfast sandwich is a truly delicious experience along with being an inexpensive one. If you have a bad time here, you might want to reevaluate yourself as the staff consists of the nicest people around and are sure to make your experience as enjoyable as the next.

Pumpkin spice cupcake tasted nearly identical to a standard cupcake which rarely happens when things are gluten and dairy free. And the blu erry muffin was not dry at all! Loved the snickerdoodle latte as well. Would definitely visit again!

I love the GF DF desserts at this place! The carrot cake cupcake is the best flavor. Also, the s’mores cookie is out of this world. My husband likes the chai lattes here as well! Highly recommend if you have a gluten free or dairy free diet like me.

Nashville Coffee Tour #4 I enjoyed my Americano here. It was bold, hot and who made. Iwould definitely return to have it again. This is a gluten free and vegan eatery. So it was definitely different than my normal places to try but I thoroughly enjoyed my Not So Classic Caprese Sandwich and cucumber salad. Everything tasted great and was a good price for 7.95. The bakery items looked beautiful, but I didn't grab one today. The atmosphere is light and airy. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can work there, but right now there's a one-hour time limit during pandemic, understandably. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to friends--which I think is the ultimate sign of a good establishment.

Delicious all-vegan menu in a clean, bright space in Donelson! Vegan BBQ sandwich was delicious. Flavor was sweet and savory and the texture was very nice - maybe a bit more like chopped chicken than pork, and that is a good thing. Tomato, lettuce, and Asian slaw on it provides a nice acidity. My daughter's strawberry pecan salad was fresh and delicious too. The vegan bakery items all looked amazing. Tried only the carrot cake cupcake, and it definitely impressed. Delicious, moist cake and frosting that is hard to believe it doesn't have cream cheese in it. Entrées all appear to be around $10 and freshness of ingredients, flavors, and portions make it a great value too. Look forward to trying more of the menu soon!

Update: Had a craving for their vegan caprese sandwich on gluten free bread, it did not disappoint . I was still hungry so I ordered one their vegan beyond burgers. Wow! It actually tasted better than a burger. I was also able to enjoy their nice patio seating out front but the street was busy so it was a little noisy, perhaps some plants to block the traffic would be nice. Oh and I had the peach Upside down cake. Very delicious! Update: went back for dinner and had the caprese sandwich , Cali sandwich, tomato bisque and Mac and cheese, everything was delicious! Plant based cafe and bakery! What! Best vegan and gluten free bakery in Nashville. The cafe is really cute inside and they have these huge garage looking windows that will open up when it’s nice out. The build a biscuit is awesome, choose your buiscuit and choice of vegan sausage, vegan bacon, vegan eggs, and I load it with some tasty strawberry jam. Also had the biscuit with avocado, bacon, and tomato, really tasty! Can’t wait to try the cupcakes next. Can’t wait to try more items like the vegan gluten free plant based cupcakes! Whoa!

Baked goods are usually great, food is just OK. Most recent time we went the soup and salad was really disappointing, which is too bad. I was excited for the orange chocolate cupcakes but the icing was different than usual and not a good texture. Loved the new Chai cupcakes though!

I love going to this bakery. The food and smoothies are always great, and the employees are friendly and remember who you are. It's so good I always forget to take pictures of the food- it's eaten before I remember to snap a shot! I would suggest trying the mac n cheese, a berry smoothie, and a seasonal drink if you havent stopped in before. The only downside is the bread on their burgers is very dense and hard to fit in one bite. This is because everything is gluten free, so it'll be a bit thicker of a loaf. Everything else is perfect, and the inside is brightly decorated and fun as well! Highly recommend

Sunflower Bakehouse has a certified gluten free bakery! I have Celiac Disease and have to eat gluten free no cross contamination. This place was like heaven! They have gf and vegan scones, muffins, cookies, cupcakes, and cakes! They have gf menu options also. The smoothies are also certified gluten free. I got the classic colada smoothie, chocolate chip cookie, cranberry orange scone, and pineapple upside cake. The prices were great. The food was amazing! It tasted like the real stuff but better! Also the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about Celiac Disease and gluten free. I was very impressed with the selections. Unsure of her name, but she had brown hair and cashed me out and helped me with the bakery items, but she was extremely helpful in informing me of their precautions. Very thankful to have found such an amazing place. Visit if you have Celiac or gluten allergies. This place is amazing. I would give more stars if I could! So delicious. And I felt so “normal” with all the gluten free options. Great selection and prices. Friendly staff. Great gluten free.

Really tasty & really healthy food, with excellent customer service, family friendly environment, and spacious, relaxing, indoor & outdoor dining. The to-go supplies are compostable, which says a lot about the owner’s commitment to sustainability (they are MUCH more expensive than the styrofoam and plastic contaminating our world). The amount of Time and effort it would take to make this level of vegan breakfast makes Sunflower Bakery an excellent value. When and if they start making plant-based croissants I will come chill here every day, haha. I love seeing positive choices growing in Nashville, the delicious, easygoing way.

I shared a burger with my daughter. She has celiac so it was fun to take her to a place where she could ask for anything and not be limited. The food is decent, though I probably wouldn't have to eat it again but I would take her back. The cupcake was really moist, frosting was delicious! Their kombucha is AMAZING. Sooooo glad we detoured here to eat this morning. The breakfast roll was so good! I got the last one of the day and if it wasn’t the last one I would have gotten another. Smoothies were delicious. I visited Sunflower Bakehouse during my recent stay in Nashville. It was excellent. We ordered the Sunflower Cali, the Chocolate Cheesecake Cupcake and the Peanut butter Chocolate dipped cookie. the sandwiches were excellent, the two desserts were a tiny bit dry - but knowing how much healthier they are than the oil laden, processed junk you get elsewhere - quite enjoyable! I loved the casual yet significant detail the owner has gone to in creating a fantastic menu, a dedicated friendly staff and comfy restaurant. I highly recommend you visit one of their 2 locations and am hoping that they will have enough success to franchise to California where I can enjoy them more often <3<3

I was so freaking excited for the biscuits and gravy because I haven't had them since I went gluten free over a decade ago. They did not disappoint! Their coffee is yummy too. I really appreciated having this convenient vegan option where I didn't have to think about what was in it. Food was spectacular! I had both the chickpea chikn salad sandwich and Kale Caesar and consumed both with no regrets. They were definitely filling too which is always a plus. Staff was really friendly and quick too.

Sunflower Bakehouse is a 100% Vegan bakery serving sandwiches, burgers, salads, cupcakes until 9pm. Breakfast until 10:45am. Friendly welcoming staff too! If you are starved after not finding vegan options at the airports this is your fill up station!

The portions keep getting smaller and lower quality. The last biscuit I got was almost half the size they used to be and it was cooked to the density of a softish brick. I was a bit apprehensive because normally gluten and vegan bakery items are gritty, dry, and the frosting leaves a weird heavy coating in my mouth….but I can’t praise this place enough. Their muffins/cupcakes are fluffy, the pecan cake was amazing, and the frosting on the cupcakes felt like normal frosting…I had to relook at the website to make sure it was vegan and gluten free because it was so good. I’m jealous that I can’t come back regularly. Considering another trip to Nashville if only to get another cupcake 😂

I felt like I’d walked into candy land for a health conscious gluten-free adult. Soooo many delicious choices and my jaw nearly dropped when I read the sign that everything is gluten free. I very rarely eat gluten-free breads or baked goods because most are junk, but I ordered a sandwich and it was excellent. The bread was so good and didn’t taste gummy or starchy. Being on vacation I also took treats to go. They were sooo worth the sugar splurge! And not too too sweet. Just right. And the matcha latte was fantastic! I would almost drive the 7 hours to Nashville just to eat here.

It's great for vegans and gluten-free folks . For me, being someone who eats regularly, it wasn't my favorite. The muffins look great ...I may go back to try them. The coffee was way too scorching hot and they don't have a station with stirrers and cream & sugar ...There's no sign that you have to ask them to put in what you need with your coffee. The person who takes the order needs to communicate that They put the stuff in the coffee ...and there's no cream ...you have a choice of almond, soy or oat milk.

Gluten Free & dairy free family…so it sounded like a dream! For the kids- mac & cheese…neither of the two liked it. I didn’t think it tasted like much, but my husband ate/enjoyed it Grilled cheese…my bread loving, cheese loving son didn’t like the cheese. He picked it off & ate the bread alone. adult meals- chickpea chick’n salad sandwich…delicious!!! no complaints! It was tasty & filling. pizza rolls (sausage)- these were a hit. We all ate off of two rolls. Think cinnamon roll, but with pizza ingredients! Tasted best with marinara instead of ranch. cupcakes- cookies & cream funfetti both cupcakes were dry, even for gluten free/dairy free cupcakes. The icing was tasty, but we didn’t care for the actual cake. overall, 4/5 stars! The service was great, the food was decent…I’d go again.

Went back and got the Pizza Rolls and dipped it into ranch and then had the softest cookie with icing EVA 🥰 I’ve been dairy free for 15 years and Gluten Free for 10 years. I mainly go to vegan restaurants because I know I can eat there but I rarely get to enjoy things like breads and pastas because most vegan restaurants only cater to just vegans. I typically come here for the deserts. I think they're great because they are dairy free, however they are usually WAY too sweet. I could barely eat the chocolate cheesecake parfait. It tasted like a chocolate cupcake swimming in frosting. The cupcakes here are ok, but can be dry. I've also tried the German Chocolate here which was pretty good, still too sweet but tolerable.

Can I just say what a dream each one of these were! (Except my hubby ate two of them, so I have to go back lol) I’ve searched for a very long time to find a place that offered what the Bakehouse offers. I no longer have to go without a celebratory dessert during my birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. All these cupcakes, from what they told me, are Vegan, GF, and Soy free! It is a Nashville must have for the vegan allergy sufferers. My husband doesn’t suffer from my allergies and he enjoyed them more than the store bought brands. So much so he ate two of mine. 5 stars for the baked goods and 1 ( zero really) for the staff and manager. I did an online order and prepaid. My order was 3 scones, one cookie, one muffin and one pineapple upside down cake. When I arrived, none of my order was ready. One of the staff members informed me that 3 items- the pb cookie and 2 scones were not available today. Not sure why they were on the mobile order if they did not have them that day vs just being sold out. Anyway, the app should accurately reflect items that are available for ordering. I said I would take a chocolate chip cookie instead of the peanut butter cookie and one cupcake for one of the missing scones. She said they would do a price adjustment for the cookie and the other scone. The peanut butter cookie is listed for 3.75 and the chocolate chip for 3.00. When we got to the register, the staff spoke with another staff who said to void the order and re ring the items I got. She went to check with the manager and when she came back she said it’s good it’s all the same price. I thought maybe the cupcakes were more so I left. The whole ride home it just didn’t sit well so I looked up the price of the cupcakes and they are the same as a scone. I only got 1 cupcake and 2 scones were missing from my order. I would have left the cookie go but this was a bit much. I called and asked for the manager. She was extremely rude and said the cookies are the same price. Guess she doesn’t know the prices listed on the mobile app. She also argued with me about what I paid for and what I got. She finally said very rudely that she was just going to process a refund for the other scone. Have not seen a refund several days later. I will not give my business to places with rude staff like this no matter how good the baked goods are. She acted like I was wrong and trying to get something for nothing. Don’t do mobile ordering if you don’t wish to adjust prices for missing items or better yet don’t have items as available if they aren’t. It wasn’t a lot of money but it was the principal of the situation. With prices being what they are no one likes being overcharged and told things are the same price when they aren’t. My order should have been voided at the facility and re-wrung for the correct amount. If I could take the tip back I so would because they deserve nothing at this place. Be careful if you decide to place a mobile order!!!!

Updated again. I ordered a focacia bake. Big mistake. a. It wasn't focacia b. It made me terribly sick c. It didn't even taste good ***** Editing to update. They have the best vegan and gluten free cupcakes around. Additionally, they have added a side with meals though it is a limited selection. I'm raising this from 3 to 4 stars though the non-cupcake foods could still be a bit better. ******* I'm hoping it gets better than it is now. In the meantime, we've been here three times. We were so excited when they originally advertised that they would have shepherd's pie since we used to get them at The Family Wash before they closed and we were craving them. We went in excited and even though it was on their menu, they weren't serving them. They said come back later. So we did. And they weren't serving them again. We went another time assuming they'd probably still not be serving them and thinking we'd just try something else and sure enough, no shepherd's pie. So, beyond that huge disappointment, all they seem to have when we go in is sandwiches. I mean, that's good, but I was hoping for more. The sandwiches we have had have been good if light on the flavor. The portions look small and they come without a side, but we ended up full (that said we've noticed lately that we eat less than we used to). The bread is pretty good for gluten free. It is unusually dense, but not dry. I had hoped to get some gluten free bread here for an event, but even though all their advertising materials show bread, they don't sell it on it's own (at least last time I checked). Also, it would be nice to have breakfast options for those of us who don't go there early. Hopefully things improve over time and I can up my star review.

I love the Sunflow Bakehouse. The food is great. I've been once before and it was straightforward. This time, was the same. Great food and greeted with smiles. Lovely atmosphere. However, I could be overly sensitive, it's a lot going on in this world. However, I was wearing a "Black is Beautiful" shirt and the cashier tells me she agrees with the shirt because she is wearing black as well. Then laughed and said, "I'm sure that's not what it means." Now, she meant no harm but confirmation to just avoid certain places or situations. We discovered this place on a trip to Nashville during the summer. I'm not a vegan, but I appreciate good food. The burgers here are excellent. The tomato/cucumber salad is refreshing. The kumbucha beer is unique and very tasty. The desserts are spectacular. We've eaten here several times on the way to the airport.

What a great spot! The food was delicious but the service was even better. I was greeted cheerfully upon opening the door which is so inviting especially when it’s your first time at a place. Samantha helped me decide what to order and made recommendations on menu items. She also was patient with any modifications I requested and obliged to make me a pumpkin spice coffee smoothie that I was craving. You can tell she loves her job and wants to ensure you enjoy your experience. She made good food taste better by her joyously friendly demeanor. I definitely recommend the Cali veggie sandwich and the pickled veggies and the potato salad. All of it was super tasty. Their desserts are some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, would make great little surprise presents for friends or coworkers. I’m only in town for a couple days and I for sure plan on squeezing in another visit.

I have a very specific allergy that doesn't allow me to eat anything mammal related. This is one of the few places I can eat literally anything on the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed it. We had the classic burger with chips. And for dessert we had a chocolate chip cookie and a banana nut muffin. Everything was great and very flavorful. The beyond burger and the bakery items are great. But the Tofu BLT tasted like what I would imagine Beggin’ Strips © would taste like. I was surprised to find it was much different than the other Sunflower location, and didn’t have many sides to choose from. Only cucumber salad, potato chips, and pickled veggies. The other location has so many more dishes and sides. I recommend the other location, unless you want bakery items.

I enjoy the vegan options at Sunflower Bakehouse. Whenever I go I try something new, plus the potato salad is a must. While the food is good, it always lacks flavor to me. I never taste distinct seasonings of herbs that could really elevate the food. This is my second time seasoning my food after purchasing. May be a personal choice—but I know that there’s always something missing when I eat here. This might just be it!

My coworker and I ended up here by accident and I can say it was the most pleasant and delicious accident ever! There is so much to choose from! I had the BBQ sandwich and cucumber salad which was absolutely amazing. I am so pleased to have found this eatery while visiting Nashville! We ordered curbside pick-up online which was user-friendly and easy. I love that everything on the menu is vegan friendly. I ordered the pot pie and tomato bisque. The crust of the pot-pie was on point and full of veggies. The tomato bisque was very filling. The combo with a cup is more than enough food for a hungry customer. We also ordered the Green Paradise smoothie wich was delicious and a lemon curd cupcake for dessert. The pictures online of the cupcakes don't do them justice. They are large cupcakes and rival the best non-vegan competition. This restaurant knows what they are doing. Non-vegans will not feel like they are missing anything.

I’m not from the Nashville area so as I was checking out of my hotel, I decided to search for vegan restaurants. I found Sunflower Bakehouse and decided to take a chance. Admittedly, I was cautiously optimistic because I’ve been disappointed so many times from “vegan” restaurants. This time I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered a sausage biscuit and hot chocolate (kept it simple because I was skeptical lol). It was DELICIOUS! The biscuit and sausage tasted homemade and the sausage was seasoned WELL! My only regret is that I didn’t order more from the menu so I could try more of the food…especially the baked goods! If I’m ever in the Nashville area again, I’ll be sure to visit!! Also, customer service/curbside pick up was prompt and without any issue.

I must avoid gluten as I have Celiac disease & the staff were all so friendly, understanding & accommodating to my specific needs. The food was very good - I had a half salad/half sandwich combo - & you can tell that they use fresh, high quality ingredients! The gluten free focaccia bread is by far the BEST GF bread I have ever eaten, & I have tried a wide variety. The GF/vegan carrot cake cupcake was literally divine & is the absolute best dessert I have had since going gluten free 2 years ago. I highly recommend this place to everyone, particularly those with any type of dietary restriction. Not to mention that the restaurant was very clean/well kept & in a 'not too crowded' part of Nashville off of Briley Pkwy that makes parking a whole lot easier. I ordered cupcakes from Sunflower Bakehouse for my friend's 25th birthday and they were AMAZING. She's a huge foodie but recently had to transition to a gluten-free diet for health reasons, so finding cute cupcakes she could safely eat was such a relief. I love Sunflower Bakehouse! The food is delicious, service is quick and friendly, and I wish they were closer to me. My only complaint is that, in the times I have ordered food to go, they use packaging that is not eco-friendly, multiple plastic shells for sandwich/salad combos, dressing cups, cups. I would order food here much more often if they shifted to eco-friendly to-go packaging.

It was my first time in the area, (been vegan for 5 years) so I love trying new vegan spots in any area that I visit. I got the breakfast sandwich with tofu and vegan egg, the baked pasta(herbed) and the Bacon Philly Focaccia Bake...the last dish( the BPFB) is to die for.. and the portion sizes are enough to have for leftovers... This spot did not disappoint. Any time I come back to Nashville, I'll definitely be coming back.

The muffins are the best! I wouldn’t be able to the tell difference between these muffins and a non vegan muffin. I also tried the omelette biscuit bake with sausage and it was delicious!!! The portion was pretty big too so it was filling. My partner got the biscuits and gravy which were the most disappointing but it doesn’t mean they were bad. We just preferred the biscuit bake. Finally, we got some cupcakes and WOW! A tad dense but honestly...tastier than many non vegan cupcakes.

The food here is crazy good. If you've ever been to the original sunflower Cafe, the food here is just as good but with more baked goods and also gluten free. I got a pizza roll and it was delicious. Their scones are also fantastic. They offer coffees and smoothies too. Their cupcakes looked amazing and im already regretting not getting one. I just had my first Sunflower Bakehouse experience, and I was incredibly impressed. I had heard many good things, so I needed to try it for myself. My family and I went and shared a cupcake, scone, latte, and sandwich...it was all delicious! Their diverse menu has great options for individuals with allergies/food sensitivities. Even if you don't have such sensitivities (as I don't), their food far surpasses the quality of many other restaurants! I highly recommend Sunflower Bakehouse to ANYONE! Give them a try, you won't regret it. I plan on being a regular.

One of the very few, if only, dedicated gluten-free, vegan places in the area. I'm not vegan, but require a wheat-free diet, so I'll take what I can get. I ordered a meatball melt sandwich, which I thought was great for what it was. The smoothie was my favorite part (I ordered a berry colada), and my least favorite was the double chocolate chip cookie. I wish I could've tried their cupcakes, which look beautiful, but the cookies leave much room for improvement. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful; it feels open, light, and airy. I like this place and I hope it stays here a long time.

My family has a number of dietary restrictions and preferences so Sunflower Bakehouse was an obvious choice for us as they’re very allergy conscious, vegan, and gluten free. When I ordered a cupcake for my daughter, I expected it to be alright considering the limited ingredients but it was one of the best cupcakes I’ve had. The staff was friendly and incredibly accommodating especially considering we showed up 1o minutes to closing. We will be frequenting for sure!

Sunflower Bakehouse was awesome as always. I had the BBQ sandwich w/ a side of chips plus a green chili corn chowder. (I know.....it's essentially two meals but I have to enjoy Sunflower Bakehouse when I can). It was definitely the best vegan BBQ I've had and I have various ones (including from Sunflower Cafe). The service was great and very quick. As always, the staff was very friendly.

Wide variety of options to accommodate almost any dietary needs (gluten free, low carb, vegan/vegetarian) Everything we have tried has been out of this world. I didn’t even realize their bakery was gluten-free until we went back LOL. That’s pretty hard to do because GF almost never tastes that close to the real deal. Kind and quick service and they have plenty of tables blocked off for COVID precautions; it feels very safe to eat there as well.

This place…THIS PLACE OMG! On a road trip with my sister and her family, and we stopped in town and both have food allergies so are always on the lookout for vegan & gluten free pastries and Sunflower Bakehouse…wow you all have awesome stuff! We got just about one of each kind of cupcake, cookies, potato and pasta salad and a bahn mi sandwich. Omg everything, EVERYTHING was sooooooo good. My personal favorites were the sandwich, chipotle potato salad, and the lemon and lavender cupcakes. My sister’s were the bahn mi, the upside down pecan cake, chocolate obsession and lemon cupcakes. I’ll for sure be back any time I’m in town, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you stop in too!

The flavors and textures dazzled my taste buds, and the experience with friendly staff bringing the food out correctly and in a timely fashion was spot on. I've had several sandwiches but I enjoy the TBLT the most. I've had several soups and all were equally enjoyable. I keep going back for the same smoothie ... The Ginger Berry!! So good. Just tried it this week and I’ve already been back twice. The buffalo chickpea salad is to die for- I could drink their ranch dressing. The meatball sub was great- Gouda was phenomenal. The chickpea salad sandwich was SO hearty and filling, but you felt great after eating it and not weighed down. I kept saying “oh my god” while eating the veggie and dumplin soup. The people were helpful and sweet. This’ll be one of my favorite lunch spots going forward.

I went there today with my kids from Nashville and they only had two flavor cupcakes, so dissapointed and three different muffins. They had more variety of pastries. We got chocolate dream cupcake with the frosting was good but cake was dry. The chocolate chip cookie was really good and rich. The blueberry muffin didn’t taste like blueberries it had a lot of crumbles and it overpowered it. It looked so empty the fridge. I was expecting more, maybe we will try again some other time.

Let me just start by saying wow! I walked in Sunflower Bakehouse already a fan of their brand and had the best experience as a customer in my 12 years in Nashville. I was immediately greeted by a wonderfully warm gentleman named Travis. He made suggestions based of my likes and made sure that I had no allergies that he needed to make accommodations for. After careful collaboration I landed with an incredible Chickpea “chicken” salad sandwich and white bean chili. The chicken salad sandwich and chili was the perfect pairing. I loved the grapes, and the white bean chili had an incredibly clean flavor profile that was satisfyingly hearty, and filling. The kombucha on tap Travis suggested was spot on. I loved the different options (chai, blueberry, lavender, raspberry, ginger, and peach) after a couple samples I landed on the blueberry and actually took one to go. Now the most important and amazing part of my meal was most definitely the cupcake(s). I am a glutton 😊 so I had the pumpkin at the bakehouse and the next morning I had the freaking awesome chocolate cupcake. If you have not had the chance to stop by the bakehouse or the cafe yet I suggest giving yourself the gift of a healthy, plant based, nutritious meal. Their staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring and I love supporting local businesses as often as possible. Thanks for bringing this to Nashville!

Delicious healthy Vegan and Gluten- free food!! The only downside was that their chickpea salad is made with onions, and I can't eat onions. So, sadly I couldn't order it. I had the TBLT without tomato.. it was very good, however, it had a very small amount of tofu (bacon), in my opinion there should have been a few more slices for that price. I went here specifically to try their G.F. pretzel bun, because I cannot find that anywhere! But I was told that the pretzel bun can only be served with a Beyond Burger, and I did not want a burger, so I was disappointed about that. We did try their baked goods, and they were very tasty!! 😊

This is an all vegan, gluten-free, nut allergy free restaurant was very excited to try this place being a long time vegan. Me and my husband had the "Meatball" melt $9.95 with tomato gravy/smoked gouda. It wasnt all that good the meatballs were dry, the tomato gravy and gouda had no taste as far as season, and the bread taste like a breakfast biscuit had a little sweetness to it. In all not good combination. We also had The Bistro Burger $10.95 which was bland and unseasoned first time trying there food and not good. Will probably go back if in the area to try something else if so I will leave review.
