Best veggie burger around!!! I was shocked at how much I loved the black bean & quinoa burger. It was delicious!! Chicken sandwich was really good. Fries are the go to over the onion rings. We received an order of half fries & half onion rings & we only had two onion rings. So just go for the fries, they’re good. Drinks are strong & worth the money. Nice atmosphere. Staff was really attentive. Definitely recommend this place!

Service was good but the food was not great. We didn’t even finish it all. The duck fat fries were soggy and cold, so had obviously been sitting there. I’ve cooked a lot of potatoes with duck fat, and I’d guess these were cooked with an oil blend that included duck fat, but wasn’t pure duck fat. The pimento cheese dip tasted strangely sweet, which was off putting. The chicken wings were over cooked. The cucumber salad was good.

The Bernie burger was really good and had blueberry jam, bacon, and fried jalapeños on there. The jalapeños were spicy and went well with the blue cheese. The pimento cheese dip was also good, and I liked the pita chips. I got the Dude which had whiskey and was solid. The Black Betty was also good and had vodka and blackberry.

Great food and service! One of the best burgers we’ve had in awhile. The buns tasted homemade. We had onion rings that were delicious and the crab dip was perfect! Great little place!

The burgers are unique and delicious. The Bernie is outstanding, blue cheese, bacon, jalapenos and blueberry preserves . . . Perfection! Great service and a fun atmosphere. Lots of great whiskey stocked.. Get there a little early on a weekend it gets busy.

I have to say I found this place by mistake. Wanted a burger and yes they have alot to pick from. Food was out fast and was great. I had the HURT LOCKER. Only reason ans I mean only reason for 4 stars was the service. I walked in and there was 4 people sitting at 1 table and not another person. Lady took me to a table and left....I had to ask for a menu had to ask to order a drink....each time she would roll her eyes even more....like she was so busy with the NO other tables she was serving ....... im sorry it was a slow day for you should have been glad to have a table......if your day was that bad go home...... but with that said next time im in nashville I would go back to try another burger maybe the big nasty

Great selection of Bourbon and Tequila, but their food and hospitality are not quite there yet. Employees congregate at the end of the bar and pay more attention to each other than to the guests. Also, for a place that tries to make their mark on offering great burgers, you would think that they would train their cooks how to prepare them properly; twice I ordered a burger and twice it was served over-cooked (the meat itself is great…when cooked properly). It’s too bad, I really want them to be successful because of the concept, but they don’t appear to want to get any better for themselves.

Great service, great atmosphere. And the bourbon menu is next level. That said, we had a burger that was unseasoned. The creations of the burgers are really interesting. But you have to put some seasoning on the meat. It made a great burger concept the least interesting burger in a long time.

S&B has been awesome every time we’ve had it (first in Knoxville, now in Nashville). The fried pickles hit just right, the burger (Bernie and Veggie) are yummy with buns that actually hold up. Taters are natural cut (don’t mess with what the good lord gave you) and I think they cut a whole bag just for you. Better yet, the service tonight was absolutely perfect. Promptly greeted and sat, our waitress was the best: attentive, kind, gave us the right amount of space. Then Bridgette also went out of her way to make shakes for us (sleeper menu item folks). Thank y’all!!! Vibes were awesome all around, and a good bang for your buck!

My The Bison burger was excellent and the first time anyone was willing to serve it blue in years. My partner's The Deadhead bean burger fell apart prematurely. The flavor was good but it had to be eaten with a fork. The onion rings were good but the fries were better, hand-cut snd fresh. We will definitely go back when we return to Nashville.

This restaurant is extremely consistent across its various locations. Their food is delicious filling. I had their black and blue burger which is a great cheese combination with crispy fried onions on a burger. Perfectly cooked, and a great bun that is not your regular hamburger bun you can buy at a store. Their onion rings are crunchy, and maybe a bit too oily. Still delicious. Their duck fat fries are a must. Anyone eating here needs to get that dish. It’s greasy, salty, and just so tasty. You will regret not getting this. Their fried green tomatoes are also delicious, and the crispy acidity of the tomato and the balsamic glaze really put well with the fried nature of the dish and the cheese on top.

Wanted bbq from next door but they were closed. So happy that they were closed!!! Got a burger and multiple sides. Everything was amazing. Street corn was a standout. Onion rings were perfect. Pretty good drink selection. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

Best burgers I’ve tried in Nashville so far! The prices are competitive, let’s say the average price of a Burger with fries is around $13. The portions are big, we shared a burger with fries and fried pickles with my husband and it was totally enough. They also have a nice variety of flavors, not the typical cheddar and bacon.

We found this place close to our hotel. It was nice retreat away from the crowds on Broadway. They do a great job of providing ax wife selection of burgers that are tasty. My favorite was The Elvis. In addition, the prices are reasonable.

My wife said it was the best burger she had ever had. I had probably the best chicken sandwich ever (famous Nashville hot chicken). Very reasonably priced. I had 4 drinks and my wife had 2 and total with good tip was around $100.

I started of with the wings as an apetizer although I was sceptical because they were grilled. To my surprise, they were very good and had a kick that snuck up on you. I then ordered the Big Nasty burger with fries and it was huge! I had to cut it in half just to take a bite. The fries were amazing with just the right amount of crispy and softness combined. The atmosphere was laid back and chill.

Ordered the farmhouse and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The breading wasn’t as spicy as other hot chicken sandwiches but tasty. The fries were a peppery Parmesan flavor. Overalls a nice casual dining experience with a nice sized bar and Simple decor. The s’mores milkshake was very creamy only critique was a small menu. Huge portions and the fries are absolutely delicious. I got the black and blue burger and my girlfriend got the hot chicken sandwich and both were very tasty. I didn't get a chance to try any whiskey, but they have a great selection and I'll definitly be back to try out their rye and japanese whiskey fights.

Fast & friendly service & delicious burgers. For my fellow Brussels lovers their Brussel Sprouts are a must especially if you like a spicy kick! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the metal chairs st the small tables are a bit uncomfortable but that can be avoided, just ask for a booth

You will not regret waiting 2+ hours to eat here. It is a MUST to eat here if you’re in Knoxville. Best burger in town! They have a ton of options from classics to unique flavors you’ll enjoy whatever you order. The fries are perfect! Garlic aioli is a must for your fries. If you haven’t been here... do yourself and your family/friends a favor and go here with them.

One of the most friendly and helpful staffs of any restaurant. Cozy setting for burgers, beers and bourbon. Burger was good but a little salty and greasy even for me. The onion rings were delicious, some of the best I have ever had.

Had the Wedge Salad with the Salmon Burger. It was delicious and though the salad would have been a meal on it’s own, the salmon patty was a perfect complement and was apparently hand made. Friendly service and a nice, casual atmosphere.

Really awesome experience last night at Stock & Barrel! The service was spot-on, and the sandwiches/burgers were fantastic at our table. We started with fried pickles, a couple beers, and had a few burgers. The mother clucker sandwich’s sauce was really good! Atmosphere was good, not too loud and not too quiet.

Best burger in Nashville, hands down. Stock & Barrel is a Knoxville business that I had enjoyed previously. This location has the same great feel, service and food.The Duck Fat fries are a must try as my guest stated "These are the best fries I've ever had, and I've had lots of fries". Burgers are creative and I was so excited from the fries I had to take a bite before the picture. I enjoyed a "Black and Blue Burger" while my guest tried a "The Billy". Both of them exceeded our expectations and I know I will continue to come back here for more.

I really like how they blended a burger joint with a Greek twist. Seriously invented food oh, and you have to try the saganaki but with feta. It's called opa! and it melts in your mouth. We had the Bernie Burger and we're really impressed with how the savory juices mixed with a sweet blueberries. we sat at the bar and we had great service. We will definitely be back.

I was with a party of 5 and we all enjoyed the food here. This place also has a really great drink selection across the board. The great thing about this establishment is that everything is locally sourced and very tasty. I had ordered the fried pickles and 'merican burger and they were both great. Amazingly crafted burgers! I got the classic bacon which has the local favorite, Benton’s bacon! Paired with the bourbon onions, they get my 3rd best burger in Nashville! The fries and onion rings were wonderful, I think the onion rings were best.

Loved it! Food was fantastic! We had a group of 10 and everyone really enjoyed it along with the drinks! I ordered a bacon, egg & avacado burger, fries and mac n cheese and that was very good! A great place to have a few leisurely drinks before diving into some great food. I had a couple of Suntory Toki on the rocks before attacking my mushroom burger. If you're an onion ring lover, you need to try theirs. Besides the onion rings, the menu had lots of good stuff to choose from. You won't be disappointed after eating drinking and eating here.

Had a wonderful experience here! Since Nashville has many burger places, I wanted to try something unique and the Elvis Burger was AWESOME! They also had an extensive selection of beers, cocktails and even boozy milkshakes to choose from. I also love the location in that it is near the Gulch yet tucked away beside Peg Leg Porker. I highly recommend and I can't wait to try this place again. It will be constantly packed once word gets out around Nashville.

A decent place for lunch or dinner. The burgers were quite large and the fries were quite flavorful. I got the hot chicken sandwich which unfortunately had no heat at all. Despite that, the flavor wasn’t bad. It turned out to be around $15 per entree for us which I thought was fair.

The food was great. My friend and I split the farmhouse burger and the Nashville Hot Chicken. The Farmhouse burger was amazing. We added goat cheese and that took it to another level. The Nashville Hot chicken, however, was such a disappointment. Not very much flavor to it and definitely not hot. Not even a bit. The staff did it’s best to keep up with the busy restaurant and multiple tables with large parties. Our cocktails didn’t look like the items pictured in the menu but they were tasty. Definitely would visit again if I ever find myself in Nashville.

Crab dip was great but the chips not so much. The fried mushrooms was great again but the dip you put them in again not so much. My burger I asked for well done came out medium well. It still was good but I prefer well done. It was more than enough. The service was the best thing about my meal. Compared to the one I ate at in Knoxville it’s not as good for giving me what I asked for, however the service was better. And the appetizers themselves were also better. But the burger although not bad not what I had asked for = 3.3

Good food, gotta get the duck fat burgers, and not pictured but my friend says they have the best wings he has ever had. If you like fancy burgers and a chill atmosphere it's the place to go. Little pricey but you get what you give for sure.

I had the bean and quinoa burger. I subbed the cheddar for goat cheese. It was amazing! I also subbed the fries for tomato salad which was a wonderful mix of veggies in balsamic. My husband had the ring of fire and said it was pretty hot but he added garlic aeoli as well. All in all a great burger place!

Do it. For real. You. Must. Go! Don't let your friends talk you into anything but Stock and Barrel. It'll be a winner. Burgers were cooked PERFECT for 5 burger lovers. Great beef. Flavor? Incredible all the way through. Every piece to every burger was quality ingredients done proper. So so impressive. Also get a Nutter Butter Shake. Maybe get it to go. Maybe add the bourbon without shame. Life gives rare opportunities like this. Cheers! ( you will thank me later.)

Stopped by on 12/4/19 for burgers and drinks. They were delicious and the fries were so good you didn't need ketchup. We were seated promptly and the staff was very attentive. Great place for family and friends to meet for drinks and burgers.

WOW! Bourbon selection is top-notch and the Farmhouse cheeseburger was LEGENDARY and almone worthy of coming back! Crowd was great and service at the bar, nearly closing hours was spot on too!!! Just buyer beware on your Bourbon , Scotch, Irish or Japanese Whiskey selection as your mileage might differ between what you choose!

We had a great experience here with a large group of people for a birthday get-together. The service was excellent. On a Tue evening around 6pm, we were able to get seated right away. The appetizers were amazing - the fried green tomatoes and Opa! were our favorites. The burgers were excellent - gooey, messy things with great flavor profiles - from bison, to elk, to beef, chicken, and black bean... We sampled them all, and they were all absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back!

Unique, delicious, and friendly. We shared a bourbon flight, the Bernie and the Hurt Locker burgers, and fries and onion rings. Everything was really very good and the service was fast and friendly. Though the burger options in Nashville are an embarrassment of riches, we'd visit Stock & Barrel again.

We had a great visit! We were visiting from out of town and chose Stock and Barrel because of the locally sourced beef and ingredients. It did not disappoint! Fun, laid back vibe with excellent food. We were surprised such complex burgers were all under $12 too. Our server Zach was great! He was so knowledgeable about the menu and bourbon. His suggestions were helpful. If we lived nearby, we would definitely return!

Came here when BBQ joint nextdoor was busy. Great choice! Had the Duck Fat Fries and two burgers. Presentation is very nice. The onion rings are homemade. And the burgers are among the best! Prices are really reasonable. Make this your first choice and thank me later.

I was disappointed to discover the turkey burgers were NOT house-made. I asked the waitress and she told me yes and once I received the burger it was clear it was a Butterball patty 😒 I don't eat beef so I know a Butterball frozen patty when I get one. Despite being a frozen burger, they did doctor it up with toppings, sauce, etc., but still... at a place like this, I expect a house made burger. If I would have known the turkey burger weren't house-made, I would have gotten something else. Everything else was pretty good and the drinks were good as well.

Service was good no issues there but let’s get something straight, putting scallions on your food doesn’t make it any fancier or taste that different. The Mac & cheese I had to put salt on it because I couldn’t taste it. If you wanna stand out put an extra cheese on it and some panco crumbs and bake it then after that maybe put some scallions on top of it. Also might rethink the music selection. Play towards the feeling of the bar and not the people i thought I was at Virago for a Second which is not a compliment. I don’t like old country but I never wished to hear it till tonight.

The service is amazing, which is unheard of in Nashville. The burgers will blow your socks off (freshly patted and seasoned), and the milkshakes will drive you to heaven (try the s'mores shake). The whiskey/bourbon selection is quite literally the best in town, anything you want, they've got it. You won't be disappointed here. It's also very easy to get to with free street parking or very cheap lot parking right outside the door. Don't miss this.

My friend raved about the Bourbon selection and the drinks they created with it. As with any restaurant I rate, I must mention the price. Very reasonable for high end burgers and alcohol. It's not a super high priced joint caught up in their own trendiness. The parking situation is not great, so this is an Uber/Lyft must.

Our waitress (Nicolette, who was great) suggested a local bourbon, since we're from out of town. We had the Belle Meade, which was delicious. Great atmosphere. It is pretty loud in there and seemed like people had to talk pretty loud to hear one another. I had the black Betty drink and it was great! Went with the farmhouse burger and fries, both were very good! Parking is all around, but you may have to pay at a booth.

Non-fussy environment coupled with perfectly prepared food makes for a great time! I went here with my associates from work before heading to the airport. We all enjoyed the pimiento cheese dip, fried pickles, and duck-fat fries before getting our meals. They offer gluten free buns or salad options for the keto/whole 30 folk. Most amazing was the list of over 100 types of bourbon available! One person had a well-crafted old fashioned. Definitely check this place out!

I am from the Knoxville area and the Stock and Barrel there is one of my favorite places for a burger. I was disappointed with the Nashville experience. The burger was just okay, but not awesome. I was hoping for a NorEaster, (drink) but it wasn't on the menu. I ordered a Ginger Vitis. It was ok and a generous drink, but not one I would order again. I would try this place again.

We stumbled upon Stock and Barrel during their soft open with just friends and family. Even though we were neither they invited us in and served us amazing drinks. They were extremely friendly and even gave us appetizers on the house- Opa and White Cheddar Pimento Cheese. They were both DELICIOUS!! We will definitely drink and dine here again when we’re in Nashville and recommend it to anyone traveling there.

We descended upon this restaurant with a large group (like 30-40 people). There was maybe one other table when we arrived. The servers and staff were ON IT! They got the food out in a timely manner and it was fresh and delectable! They were friendly the entire time and handled the crowd with professionalism and excellence! I had The Bernie burger. It was like a spicy version of a Monte Cristo burger with bleu cheese. It might sound a little odd, but it was fantastic! If you don't want it too spicy, order it without the battered jalapeno. If you're in the mood for a really good burger, stop in. You'll love it.

This place is amazing. Truely great burgers. I have been twice now and I have been impressed both times. The service was great. The drinks were also really good. There are alot of burger options so I recommend going a few times and trying different things.
