By far one of the best Hispanic restaurants I’ve been to since moving to Nashville. I’ve been so tired of all the TexMex since moving here.
We tried a little bit of everything, The Carnitas are the best. The chicken stuffed chile relleno was mouthgasmic. The tostada ceviche is the best in Nashville. The green sauce enchiladas and steak tacos were great but compared to everything else….Laura’s Dip is a fantastic starter.
I genuinely don’t have a single complaint.
My only complaint I have is that calories aren’t free. I’d eat everything if I wouldn’t blow up into a whale. So, I’ll just have to try something new every time I come.
I will be coming back with friends. This is amazing!

What an amazing hidden gem! We have drove by this restaurant so many times. Decided to start the new year off right and try it today. DELICIOUS AND DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! We had the Laura Dip, green sauce enchiladas, carnitas tips, and chili relleno. All the food was amazing, but the carnitas tips and chili relleno were out of this world!🤗 Owners are super friendly and the karaoke was a nice touch. We will be back!

I recently moved from Chicago to Nashville and this is one of the best Mexican restaurants we have been to in either city
Been here a few times now. All the food we have tried is awesome, as well as the sauces

Their sauce in their fajitas was one of the best that I’ve had. It’s very authentic Mexican but the food is great. Parking isn’t the easiest here as it’s off of Nolensville Pike and there aren’t many spots, but I’m glad I went here.

Small family owned Authentic Mexican food restaurant in Nashville. It's about time. When I say authentic, I mean it's not the run of the mill "Tex Mex" place that you normally see. They have fresh ingredients, all homemade from scratch when you order it. The produce is locally sourced and you can taste the freshness. I went with 3 other people and all of us agree it's our new favorite place to get fresh Mexican food. I had fajitas with homemade corn tortillas, my wife had a fajita burrito and the flavors were unbeatable. They had a couple different flavors of salsa with varying heat. I loved the tomatillo flavor the best, we also got a small bowl of queso and my absolute favorite item Guacamole Casero. The chips came to the table hot which is a big plus in my book. They have a wide variety to choose from on the menu to match anyone's taste. The owner's John & Yessie Lopez, came out and spoke to us while we were there. We can't say enough good things about their food. Go try it! Remember it takes a little longer to get your food, because when you order it they make it fresh, but it is totally worth the wait when the flavor and quality is this good!!

One of my new favorite places to grab Latin food! Their flavored pineapple water is the best! I def recommend a guacamole casero, it comes with warm hot chips unlike most places! Def 5 stars.
& they’re fajitas Laura’s are even then best!! Great taste.

The food is solidly good and the service even better. Loved the homemade corn tortillas and pupusas. Owners are wonderful people. Place is unassuming but completely spotless and much bigger than I expected inside. Easy parking. Everything tasted very fresh and yummy.

That shrimp cocktail was the absolute best thing I ever had. I could eat it by the spoon full with no crackers.
This is a must go to joint.

My newest favorite discovery on Nolensville Road - Laura's Cocina! 5️⃣⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’d seen a few posts about it here and my husband and I were in the area, so we decided to check them out. We were blown away by food - taste, quality and quantity all top notch! Service was great too - we had a sweet waitress, Ashley, who was very attentive, and served us quickly and efficiently.
Ashley quickly brought hot chips and fresh salsa to get started with. They alone were so good! We’d heard Laura’s dip was a must, so we asked about it and it has queso, bean dip and ground beef. There was also chorizo dip, and my husband loves chorizo, so we asked for Laura’s dip only with chorizo instead of ground beef. It was fabulous!
For entrees my husband got Laura’s Fajitas and I got Quesabirrias. OMG! They came out steaming and sizzling, and the quantities were HUGE! We had plenty of leftovers so will enjoy for lunch the next couple of days. We ended with the flan, a nice sweet ending to this wonderful meal.
While we were gorging on all the food, the owner Juan came by and spoke to us for awhile. He and his wife Jesse own and run the place. He’s of Mexican descent, and his wife is from Honduras I believe, so the menu has both Mexican and Central American cuisine. It’s a very extensive menu and most everything is made from scratch with very fresh ingredients. We can’t wait to go back to work our way through the menu. As far as alcohol, right now it’s only beer, although Juan said they should be getting their full alcohol license soon so then we can get margaritas- yay!
This place is a MUST GO!!!😋
Check out my pics & videos with comments.

I had a chicken enchilada with green sauce and it was so flavorful. This is now my number 1 place for Mexican.

We will definitely be returning! Baleadas and pupusas were SO good. My husband tried “Laura’s Burrito” - only $11.99 and it was HUGE. Highly recommend. Also Ashley was a wonderful waitress!
