King Tut's is perhaps Middle Tennessee's greatest example that the passion and authenticity of cooking does not require gimmicky signs and pretentious buildings to serve food with the same care and attention that a kitchen would serve to their own family. The freshness and authenticity was only eclipsed by the kindness and warmth behind the face and words of the owner/operator. Admire this man's culinary devotion as well as his thriving garden of plants on the patio. See if you can spot the fig tree. Food and the restaurant experience can best be personified by this gem of an eatery.

I was not expecting the amount of flavor packed into these dishes. The chicken/lamb was tender, the falafel was flavorful and the hummus was creamy and delicious. The patio seating is definitely a vibe and we enjoyed the experience more than we thought we would. Pack your patience because more than likely there will be a bit of a wait.

Phenomenal Mediterranean cuisine! Do not be fooled by the location, King Tut’s food is amazing. The Falafel was crispy, earthy and came with hummus that had a bit of a bite to it. The main dishes were beautifully presented with pickled onion and fresh greens. The meat was tender and full of spices. Additionally, the staff was friendly and eager to serve. By far, the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in Nashville thus far.

So so pleasantly surprised. I got the royal plate with chicken, gyro, and falafel. Ever Part was so tasty. They also have the cutest patio. Will definitely be on of my Nashville favorites.

Such amazing, unique food with vibrant decorations and kind, genuine owners. I got the royal plate as did some of my friends and we were all blown away by the beautiful presentation and flavors! As a college kid I rarely spend $15-20 on a meal but it was absolutely worth it. This place is really something special.

Best falafel I've ever had! Brown crunchy outside and warm soft inside, perfect for dipping in the tahini and feta. Very good hummus and thick pita (almost a crusty bread), both seemed made from scratch. Our kids loved it, and the kitchen said they toned down the chili spices on our chicken a little since they saw we had young ones. At $13 per plate, it was a bit pricier than I expected from a food truck in this area of town, but it was well worth it. The patio area attached to the truck was covered and inviting with tons of plants, hanging lights, etc. Loved it!

Great flavors, very friendly service, and the patio has a great atmosphere. Very well done. The Falafel Waffle was great! My only feedback is that I felt the Chef's choice plate could have had a little more food for the price, but it was delicious all the same.

I was told about King Tut by a friend and it did not disappoint. Tucked away in the back of a non-descript parking lot, this little gem brings the tastes of Egypt to Nolensville Pike. The menu is simple and true to its roots. The Chicken Shawarma and Gyros are perfectly done with all the right ingredients carefully pulled together for the complete experience. The surprise, though, is the falafels. Not usually a fan, I got these in the Royal Plate and they were outstanding. This is a must try if you like Middle-Eastern food!

King tut’s was SO SO SO good. Wow. I think this is one of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants I’ve ever had. We had a sample of hummus, falafel, labyna, kefta, chicken schwarma, salad, and rice... and everything was incredible. The meats were both super flavorful and juicy and the falafel was still moist in the inside which perfectly fried on the outside. The patio was wonderful and perfect for distancing during covid. Cannot wait to come back again!

We stopped based on Reviews. There is a small outdoor eating area but we drive back to our accomodations. We got the schwarma which was enough for two ppl to share. It is super garlicky and sadly didn't come with any of the bread I've seen served elsewhere. If you're in the mood for this fare it is authentic and highly seasoned. We would return if in the area.

Cannot emphasize the FLAVOR enough, the portion sizes are great, and each dish is so beautiful with the rainbow of veggies, both pickled and fresh! We called ahead and our order was ready when expected with no issues at all. So delicious!!

Man, my wife and I love this place. The care that goes into everything is a delight. The best falafel and lamb chops I’ve had in Nashville. I’m not a vegetarian by any means, but I could be content eating only vegan food here. The variety of salads, pickled vegetables, eggplant and the hummus are wonderful. The guys who run the place are a real treasure.

Wow. What a Gem. Located in the back of a shopping area this has become one of my favorite spots. The ambience, ordering process and patio area are amazing. All things considered, the food is the spotlight. The most tender lamb and fresh ingredients pop with flavor and spice. Everything we tasted was delicious, and fresh.. This was really a delight. I highly recommend King Tut's. Definitely go out of you way to give it a try, you won't regret it. We will certainly be going back.

Absolutely incredible. This is our favorite restaurant. Gyro meat and falafel is the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Owner is warm and welcoming. His love for cooking is evident. The specials are always great. He does lamb better than anyone. Chicken shawarma is fantastic. Can’t recommend enough.

If more stars were available, I'd give them! We had an incredible dinner. The appetizer sampler is a great way to start, the lamb plate and chicken shawarma sandwich were also fantastic. You get a good portion of food and they are on top of the service too. With the fun atmosphere and setting this is one of Nashville's hidden gems.

This is the BEST Mediterranean I have had in Nashville!!! I had the chicken shawarma plate which can sometimes be boring and bland elsewhere but from King Tut it came covered in the most delicious sauce with amazing spices on top, over a bed of rice, with tabouleh, and a pickled red cabbage. The hummus and pita was warm, fresh, and delicious. They’ve also got a fantastic patio! All around 5/5 stars.

Had from here couple of times more than 5 months go and food was great.. but today had few chicken and lamb plates; rice wasn’t cooked well, chicken was dry and lamb & falafel was ok.. first time I am leaving any kind of chicken on my plate 😄.. anyways, i am not writing off completely, want to give one more chance.. will. I’ve never had falafel this good. Like, how can something fried taste so fresh?! Easy pick up to go or dine on the covered patio (pro tip: byob is allowed). They’re often adding/featuring new vegan and vegetarian menu options, and even the French fries will blow your mind.

The food here is phenomenal. I have been here about 5 times and each time gotten something different. They have the best falafels I have ever tasted. I highly recommend any of the lamb dishes and if they have the beef shawarma it is a must. The service is great and the patio is wonderful.
