Had an amazing time at Hopsmith for Sunday brunch! The food was excellent. I had the sweet potato skillet with sausage added & my husband had the morning wrecker. Both were absolutely amazing! The vibe was great as they played music & had an awesome special on mimosas! Will definitely be back!

Was at a local business. Had a break for lunch. A lot of bars and restaurants. This is a place to get drinks at best. Food was subpar. The bar was disgustingly dirty and it wasn’t busy or just finished a rush. It was 1:50 on a Thursday I took some pictures. Dirty dishes caps off of bottles poured beers laying under the draft. A piece of bacon that laid out for an hour. I go to places to eat and report what I see. I figure you want good food, clean place, and great service. This is not that.

Stopped in for a light dinner while visiting that area of Nashville. Ordered the Mac and cheese special and the BBQ brisket sliders. Both were amazing. The bar offers a large variety of draft beers in a unique way.

Looking for great beer on tap and great food? Look no further. I was in town for work and found this place after poking my head in a couple other bars that didn't have any draft beer. Beer list is solid, servers were very friendly, and the brisket burrito was fabulous. Not a live music destination if that's what you're looking for.

Excellent experience at this place. Whitey was amazing and the food was phenomenal. The portions are large for sure. Had the Flintstone French Toast, Avocado Toast, Tacos and Breakfast Nachos. My only criticism would be to have the ability to add something to the potatoes like onions and peppers and those Nachos were on the dry side... the eggs were a child and dry by the time they got to the table. So you might want to think about adding some type of cheese or sauce. But brunch is definitely a must try. The 2 for 1 mimosas are a great deal for a group and you get to take what you don't finish.

I tried Hopsmith for the first time yesterday. I went with 2 of my friends. We went around 2. I honestly thought the wait was going to be an hour or so but we only had to wait about 20 minutes. It was pretty hot outside so we sat in the car until they texted us. Parking was pretty easy as they have a parking lot right beside the restaurant. We paid $16 for two hours. On the weekends they have 2 for 1 bottles. We shared that which I think it’s enough for a small group of people. I ordered the “morning wrecker skillet”. I also ordered the breakfast sliders to go for my boyfriend. I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars mainly for the atmosphere and price of the food. There is plenty of seating and also an outdoor patio area which is where we were. The highlight of the restaurant was the music as they played a lot of current songs. I enjoyed that the most. Our waiter was really nice and attentive. As far as the food the skillet was ok. It was very hot and I was nervous about it being cold based off other reviews. So that was a plus. However there wasn’t enough sausage or gravy in mine. It was more chicken than anything and the peppers should’ve been diced instead of sliced as they were too big. My boyfriend said the biscuits were nasty but the sausage and eggs were tasty. I spent $37 all together. That’s pretty reasonable to me. Overall I would return for the drink specials and I would like to try other menu items.

Good was amazing! Service was great. Catherine was such a nice and attentive server. I got the BBQ wings with a side of fries. Honestly I didn’t even finish all my fries, I was stuffed. I was expecting 6 wings or so, but they serve a lot more. If you want a place with good food and a legit beer selection, this is it. Chill vibes.

I ordered the sweet potato skillet and added grilled chicken and avocado (sooooooo delicious 😋) I went for brunch and got there around 11a. My party of 3 was seated right away. The service was ok mainly due do it only being one server in my area that I saw. He did his best. Atmosphere: -Kinda loud -No social distancing -High tables on the main level ( not sure about the others) -Sports playing on TVs -Seating is tight especially as it gets crowded -outdoor seating available Enjoy the atmosphere and we'll definitely go again 😊

All told, a great place. Good selection, reasonable prices. Convenient to parking and lots of attractions if you want to take about 100 feet of the beaten path. On the day I went in, something was wrong with half of the beer lines and they were hot. I'm sure this was a fluke.

Visited Nashville for a weekend trip and found this spot for brunch. The food was delicious and the mimosas were great as well. The entire place had a nice vibe. Definitely going back on my next trip.

These guys know how to treat customers well, have a great selection of beers, and are always accommodating for me and my dog when we eat on their deck/terrace. Never had any food, appetizer or main, that I didn’t like here. They know food and beer and hire wonderful people! Also like the music selection, that puts it over the top!

Really 4.5 stars. Experience and atmosphere are amazing. Bartender was super friendly and happily made suggestions when I told him what I typically drink. Got the baked mac and cheese and even though I would've like a slight more cheese flavor to it, the brisket, BBQ sauce, and fried onions more then made up for it. Great place to try out.

One of my favorite places in Midtown. The Wednesday day bartender was the best. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Clean establishment. Large selection of craft beer. We will be back.

Brunch hasn't been this great in a long time. The experience was amazing. Parking must be paid, and it is heavily enforced. We came in as a party of 17 so, seating us was not the easiest although the restaurant had just opened at 10AM and we were waiting outside. We waited until 11AM and were seated in the lowest level for our comfort (there are three levels). The lowest level was very cozy and the food came out fast and HOT. Mimosas and alcoholic beverages were tasty. We will be visiting this place again for brunch when we return - we will request the same section and call ahead with a reservation to clear up any confusion for management. Overall, the kids and grandparents enjoyed it just as much as we did. Thank you for the great food and experience.

My husband and I happened upon Hopsmith and as soon as we entered we were warmly greeted and welcomed in. The atmosphere was relaxed, cozy, and comfortable. The food was delicious (we had the black and blue and rodeo burgers)but the best part of our experience was our server Abby. She was so pleasant, friendly and attentive. She gave great recommendations, worked hard and had a fabulous personality. We highly recommend and will be back, being sure to ask for Abby!

My husband and I flew into Nashville late Friday night and wanted to get food close to our hotel. This was the perfect place to go - they were still serving food after 10 pm on a Friday night and we were able to sit down at the bar upstairs for some drinks too. It had a great atmosphere and the apps we got were very good. The bartender gave two great recommendations for local beers for my husband to try, which he appreciated.

Went for brunch. Seated very quickly and cutely decorated. However the breakfast was subpar and breakfast potatoes came out cold. There also wasn't much vegetarian friendly options, essentially just one or two dishes. Also wasn't told about a credit card charge that was added after given our bill with total. Would have paid cash if I was told.

This place was so high on my list! I was about to give a 5 star review but midway through my review they changed from some incredible music to football....ugh. There are already so many sports bars downtown and I didn't expect this to be one. I'm so disappointed. I walked all around trying to find a place that didn't have football blaring through the speakers. When I FINALLY found one, that happened to be playing one of my fav bands, I walked in and order a beer from Katherine. She's great btw! I told her I loved the music, but seconds later...football again. She gave a great beer rec but I didn't stay for another because I'd honestly rather sit at home than have to watch sports. *ALSO* the game was on all the tvs with the music at first. I think that should've been enough to appease everyone. No need to cut the music just to listen to 2 min of commentary and 5 mind of ads 🙄

Great place, not just a bar! Tried this place since I had seen it on Nashville Guide. Glad we picked it for dinner. We had loaded fries as a starter, great flavor and enough for 4 people. Main entrée is Baja Fish tacos- 3, Chicken Tinga tacos and Southern as a wrap with sweet potatoes fries. All were very good. Portions are plenty. Outdoor and multi level seating. After 830 it gets a little too dark for eating. But, that was not a big deal.

Wonderful place for Sunday Brunch. Taylor was our waitress and bartender. She was phenomenal and so personable. Can’t say enough about her service. All staff should be trained this way. The drinks were delicious, especially their coffee with baileys. Don’t miss their brunch special 2 for 1 bottles of champagne. An excellent place to visit in Nashville. Be sure to ask for Taylor!

The food was good though several items seemed expensive for what you got compared to other dishes in the menu. Service was fine though a little slow (food came out quickly but slow to receive service and check-ins.) The only real complaint is that this place was loud, as in the music is turned up so high you can't talk across a four top without leaning over your plate the whole time. Recommend the brunch nachos.

The food was good and the staff was very friendly. They had buy one get one on beer at the time. I was a little disappointed that the full menu wasn't available though. I thought they switched at 10pm, but when I got there at 9:45 they were on the late night menu. The chicken n waffle bites were still very good, I was just hoping for more of a real meal during that visit. Overall pleasant experience and I would go there again.

GREAT Service! The appetizer board was everyone's favorite. The atmosphere was lovely as well. I had three steak tacos and they were surpisingly awesome. The wings were not very good. The sauce was oily and all of us that tried them were not pleased. The place was packed by the time we left. The women's bathroom door was TERRIBLE to get in and out of. I had to use all my weight to get it open. I have some friends that would have definitely gotten stuck in there.

I'm in town for work, so I stumbled upon this place because I was starving and it was about to start raining. I'll say that I couldn't have picked a better bar for my first Nashville bar. All the staff were very friendly and nice. They have an excellent selection of beer on tap. The whole place is clean and attractive. And that doesnt even bring us to the food. I had the Truffle Shuffle burger, and I'll be damned if they didnt bring out the best burger I have had all year. The flavors were excellent, everything tasted fresh and handmade. The wait was slightly longer than I expected, but it was absolutely worth it. Stop in. You won't be disappointed. Theres a Jeep behind the bar for heaven's sake.

My bf and I went to Hopsmith to play Trivia and it was fantastic. We ordered the loaded fries and the $15 mega marg and everything was great. Our bartender, Spenser with an s, was very enthusiastic and welcoming.

Normally I would have taken more pictures, however I was with my daughter and my wife when we visited Hopsmith. when we first arrived our waitress was amazing and remained attentive to us the whole time we were there. Our server Madison was very good. The atmosphere was noisy loud and boisterous filled with local young adults having a good time. We ordered our food which consisted of carne asada tacos and mushroom tacos. normally I would figure 15-20 minutes would be an appropriate time to bring that out however our food was not over out for over 40 minutes. When the food did come we got three small tacos each. I found the carne asada tacos very tasty however they were very small and for $14.25 I felt that the tacos were very expensive with very little food. This was the same with the mushroom tacos which were $11 and were pretty small. Our bill which came to $97 for six tacos four glasses of wine and two beers was what I felt pretty pricey. overall the food was tasty the waitress was very good but the food was pricey and the wait on the kitchen was much too lengthy if you're going to pay that much money for food. Another thing on Google reviews it shows two $ symbols which usually indicates moderate pricing however I definitely would consider this an expensive restaurant considering the amount of the food that you receive. What's worse they charged a $3.45 credit card fee really! Wow. Most places encourage non-cash transactions to avoid covid 19 germs but in this case with a credit card fee why would you pay with a credit card. Probably would definitely not come to this restaurant again.

This is a nice spot. They have great food and drinks. Try the large margarita. As for food, large portions...but you have to try the foot long grilled chess’s. Comes with bacon and fried eggs. Awesome. The staff is excellent and make you feel at home!!!

Everything was great! My servers name was Becca & she was awesome with a great spirit & attitude. The host name Liberty on the other hand, she was rude & trying to tell me I was wrong for sitting where I wanted when she never clarified at the beginning that we couldn’t sit anywhere we wanted. When I walked in, she didn’t even greet me & my cousin, I told her how many people & just was quiet while walking us to our table while trying to give us a lecture about our choice of sitting. She was terrible but the server we had, the food, & the music was awesome. I’ve personally been here 2 times now & the food has been great every time.

Cool location with parking lot and a great vibe. We sat outside on the balcony for brunch, so we got a nice view of the city. I got a Bloody Mary (absolutely delicious) and the Nashville chopped salad. The salad was *spicy*, fresh, and tasty. My brother and sister both got the avo toast and it was piled with eggs, bacon, tomato, avo, etc. It looked amazing! Definitely recommend, especially after a night out partying!

My girlfriend and I went here for Brunch on a Saturday afternoon. The Atmosphere: This place has very cool interior decorations, with an entire station wagon mounted on the wall behind the bar (cut right down the middle, lengthwise). The space inside can be a little tight due to how busy they are. They have an upstairs that we were unable to see but the outside patio area is great (which is where we sat). My only complaint is that they had the college football game audio on throughout the restaurant. I have nothing against college football, but I wished they had played music throughout the restaurant instead of game audio. Division St is a huge party street and having football commentary toned down the excitement of the whole brunch experience. They did have music playing during the commercials and the music was fantastic, just wish it was played the whole time. The Food and Drink: The food here is EXACTLY what you would want after a long night out. It's hearty and it's filling. We ordered the Chicken & Waffle bites that came with maple syrup and Tabasco dipping sauce. The chicken is deep fried in waffle batter, which was an interesting twist on the dish. For our entree I ordered the Morning Wrecker Skillet and she ordered the Biscuits & Gravy. Both were incredibly filling and incredibly delicious. I can eat a lot of food and I was unable to finish my skillet and the Biscuits & Gravy come with 4 biscuits (aka 8 halves). The gravy they use was super tasty. For drinks, we ordered their 2-for-1 bottles of champagne and added small carafes of orange juice and pineapple juice (we both agree the pineapple juice is the way to go). Additional juices to make mimosas are $2 each. The Service: For as busy as they were the service was very good. The line was out the door but we only waited about 15 - 20 minutes for a table for 2, so we ordered coffee cocktails in the meantime that took no time to order at the bar. We probably spent about an hour and a half there which was great because we were able to thoroughly enjoy our meal and the experience. Our waitress was very attentive and always made sure we had enough to drink as well as refilling or carafes when they were low. If you are wanting a quick place to grab brunch I would not recommend. However, if you want to enjoy your time with friends I highly recommend coming here. Summary: Overall, Hopsmith Nashville is one of the best places to go for Brunch in downtown. The place is busy but it just adds to the excitement. The food and drinks are spectacular and is exactly what you want after a night out. If they would play music instead of football commentary this place would be even more fun and exciting.

This place gets three stars because although the atmosphere and beer are excellent, its food made me feel sick, and their service is sub-par. The great things about this bar are its amazing selections of beer and the cool atmosphere. I love the high tables, and there is always a great view of a TV. This was an excellent place to watch the Australian Open. The nachos are enormous, and had me feeling ill into the next day. Meanwhile, the server failed to tell my group that buying a 16oz beer during happy hour was more expensive than their 22oz beers. It's a little thing, but we paid $1.5 extra for less beer, and I feel like a good server should warn you about those kinds of things.

We went on a busy Saturday night and everyone was on point! Our server, Blake, was amazing and was working so hard. The hostess deserves kudos because she was running all over the place. She greeted everyone so warmly and said have a good night to everyone that left. You just don’t typically see the level of customer service we encountered these days. The food was also great! I would highly recommend the wings and loaded fries. You guys keep doing what you’re doing because you’re killing it!

If you are looking for some really good food in midtown, you must go here. The staff is super nice and the food is well prepared and filled with great flavors. I got the grilled wings with their bourbon sauce and their deviled eggs.

The place is great and thus the 5 stars. However there is a “manager” there that does not belong. At first I thought he was the normal unfriendly bouncer, but it was lunch time on a Thursday. He did nothing but stand around and stare at people. Made both me and my wife feel uncomfortable as he stared at her. I could go on and on about his issues. Aside from Travis the place is great, food and drinks aplenty and the rest of the staff are super friendly.

Do brunch here. It's generally a bit of a wait but worth it. Great atmosphere, 2 for 1 bottles for mimosas, and one of my favorite brunch menus all around (huge fan of the skillets). The patio/outside seating is ideal in warmer months because mimosas are best consumed in sunlight. I don't make the rules here... take it up with God, muchacho.

Great place to host a Brunch for large parties. Kenzi was my point of contact and I only picked this place because of previous experiences I had with the establishment. She was quick to respond and kept me posted on things that needed to be done to make it a successful brunch.

Found this restaurant 4 years ago and then could not remember where it was fortunate enough to find it yesterday and it was amazing as I remembered the bloody Mary's are to die for nice and spicy with candy bacon jalapenos celery and olives we had wings that were smoked to perfection with a nice sweet bourbon glaze. My only drawback was that the music was very loud for us older people, but perfect for the younger crowd that seems to be drawn to Hopsmith. Trust me not one to be deterred by youth, I will be back again and again for the Bloody Mary's and those wings;)

I took my family to have Sunday brunch. They opened at 10a.m. and we arrived about 10:30a.m. with a 20 minute wait. The larger group that came later was seated first but I digress. The bacon was chewy as jerky, my son hated the sausage crumble breakfast burrito. The $8 pineapple mimosas were good. Small venue. Server was cool. The hostess was cool.

This place came highly recommended. Made reservations so I wouldn’t have to wait. I had the cobb smith salad and the mozzarella sticks. The salad and mozzarella sticks were HUGE. I couldn’t finished the mozzarella sticks. Lol but they were good. The drink I had was good (I think it’s called the Frose). Would recommend to anyone!!!

Great food and drink with a friendly, attentive staff. Their menu is a definite cut above your typical Music Row faire, they keep the place spotless, and they always have great sports on the HDTVs. Great meet up spot to watch a game or to start a fun night on the town. Also, an awesome brunch spot on the weekends with great drink specials!

I picked up food to go twice last week and would eat here again. The staff is friendly, decor is awesome, and the food was good. I really enjoyed the fish with curry fries and street corn. Tacos were okay and pecan pie seemed slightly grainy and underdone. Tasty beers were available on tap and for takeout. More stars would be given except that the mask mandate did not seem to be enforced among customers. The staff was masked but most of the customers were not, including many who were watching a game and did not appear to be eating.

Went ere for dinner. Just happened to be drink special time. Got this here Lil beauty at an awesome price. It's a tiny bomb. It was NOT tiny!! The mug was so cold my hand ached. I came here yesterday with a friend, and we had a nice experience. Since it was a weeknight, it wasn't too busy. We had a couple of drinks (my friend got the $5 22 oz Nashville special, and I got a mixed drink), and he ordered the chicken and waffle plate. I don't think either one of us expected the chicken to be coated in the waffle mix!

Service and food was great for brunch. We had a two for one on Mimosa which made it great for buying a bottle of bubble. Only downside is the bacon. I like thick bacon and they had then little cardboard box bacon.

A wonderful restaurant with good vibes and friendly staff. While the menu isn't the largest in terms of food what they do have is amazing. The appetizer we had was one of the best things we had to eat all vacation down there. Not to mention there are plenty of IPA's to chose from while eating some good food. It's a large place too enough to accommodate even heavy traffic during nights. I'd recommend anyone try here if you're in the Nashville area.

I have had brunch at about 10 different places in the gulch/midtown area and Hopsmith is easily the winner and the only one worth it in my opinion. Good food, and good portions for the price. Nobody else really even comes close. The fruity pebble french toast and the brisket omelette are must trys.

Found this place thanks to google reviews. :) We had drinks and appetizer on a Friday night and found out about the brunch mimosa/champagne specials they have on the weekends. We came back for brunch on Sunday and loved the food. We also got the mimosas. I ate the bagel and loxs appetizer and my boyfriend had the biscuits and gravy. Everything was so delicious and we even had a hard time figuring out what to get. They have 3 stories. The main level is always busy so we went upstairs and found seats at the bar. The bartender, Anna was super sweet. Highly recommend this place for the food and the atmosphere. It was within walking distance to many other places if you wanted to walk around after and find another bar or dessert.

Had a great experience on my first visit. I had a meeting get cancelled and a friend suggested that we get brunch here. From Nashville, but don't do a ton of Nashville brunching. This place made me feel like I was missing out. We had a great cinnamon bun and I had the Chi-town skillet. It was great and the service was great as well. Atmosphere was cool, music was great. Definitely recommend whether your from Nashville or out of town.

I got the hangover skillet and it was sooo good! A little greasy but just what you need to soak up that loqufrom the night before. I went in a Sunday at about 11 with 6 other women and had a great time! The music and crowd are diverse I love rustic look and feel of the tavern. They also let you take home any unopened bottles of champagne from the mimosas! #getthere

Was really good food, did not get the double layered nachos but those looked amazing would recommend. The only con that I had was that when me and a larger group of co workers went to this place for lunch during the colder time of the year there was very few tables that were big enough to sit all of us at one time. And the table that was big enough had a giant beer tap I the middle of it, which is great if you want to drink beer but we were not drinking at the time and therefore it was more in the way than anything else. Overall I would say it was a positive experience though.

Great food, great environment, great staff. Lost a star: 1st day I went there was seated with no mask on, went back the very next day and guy says I can't seat you without a mask on. There was an empty table 5 ft from me along with plenty of people at their tables with no masks on. And yes the tables are closer than 6ft to each other. This ISN'T about the mask thing it's about consistency. It's cool, went next door to sliders and was seated with no issues.

While the tacos were tasty, 2 out of three who ordered them were served cold. Clearly, they were sitting back in the kitchen too long. Every single song was a remix, which got old. And, we were seated next to a loud, large table whose guests monopolized the server making her life Hell. She did her best, but that left little for guests at her other tables, and including ours.

Food was okay. Wait staff was excellent. One minor mistake with my table's appetizer coming out late but they comped it. It was crowded for the Saturday night rush but there were Buffalo football fans filling a lot of standing room for most of the night.However once it calmed down it was comfortable.

This was our favorite spot to go while in Nashville. They have a large beer selection with many different varieties on tap. We sat at the bar anytime we went, and the bartenders were always friendly and attentive even when the place was packed. It was a great place to watch the football games also. It was a great atmosphere. We didn't get anything to eat while we were there so I can't speak on the food.

Great staff good selection of beers... Food on the other hand.. Unimpressed. I ordered wings which may have had the least amount of meat on them I've ever seen for a wing. I ordered buffalo.. But they apparently smoke the wings as well so it wasn't what I was expecting at all. As far as the burger I ordered.. I can't complain it's my own fault since I ordered it bun less. My slight issue with it was they just gave me a burger and lettuce. I was hoping for maybe some onions or tomatoes. Again more my fault I guess. Overall good experience. I'd go for drinks to hang out but idk about eating there again.. Too many other good food joints in Nashville.

Stopped by to grab lunch due to a local recommendation. They offer all salads as wraps and vice versa. The Wraps were delicious with an extensive Draft Beer menu. There was a pricing issue with my beer and our waitress was kind enough to give me the advertised discount. Definitely would recommend.

We came down for the weekend and chose Hopsmith Tavern without out knowing anything about it. Loved the way it looked on the outside, so we went inside. Greeted by an amazing staff. The music, decor and atmosphere was awesome. Food was outstanding! We ate there for lunch and came back for breakfast the next morning. We had the fish tacos for lunch and they were great. The Smokehouse omelette is killer and the Fruity Pebbles French toast, well it will make you smile. Well done, Hopsmith Tavern, you are the total package. We will be back again soon!

Pretty good! The service wasn't quite as spectacular as we have received elsewhere in Tennessee, but was still good. We had the sampler platter, and it was awesome! I would highly recommend... But you should have more than two people to eat it, it's huge!

I've been here a couple times, and have never been disappointed. Tacos are great, and the salads made into a wrap are even better. The Mexican street corn was very good as well. They have a decent selection of beers to choose from, and multiple levels to check out. Just wish there was better parking in this area!

I helped to build this place. The owner and the group he works with are all really great people. The kitchen team has been getting things ready and making sure everything is prepped for the menu for the last few days. It all smelled amazing every time I passed through the kitchen. I wired a state of the art cooling system for the taps so I know for sure they will have beer cold as poss from the keg to glass. There is even a self serve draft system at a few tables. I missed the opening yesterday but I'm headed in tonight and I expect it to be a great experience and a tremendous addition to the Nashville bar scene. I've been to most in the area and I believe this establishment will stand completely on its own. I busted my ass keeping every detail in mind in this place to get everything finished by the latest planned opening day. A lot of other individuals and crews put in some quality work as well. There's something for everyone. Each of the three floors have a dif ambiance so I hope all will enjoy it.

I've been through half the menu at Hopsmith and there's nothing I wouldn't order again. Every dish is top quality. The beer selection is vast, food is delicious and reasonably priced, staff is friendly, and the place is clean. The menu in my opinion was a bit eclectic, and if you're looking for a great taco, look no further.

The ravers is so much fun! The Food ranges from interesting to traditional. My favorite is the chicken bites coated in waffle batter and fried. It comes with maple syrup and hot sauce. Really is incredible. The place can get packed around dinner time. Massive draught beer selection and they have a great bourbon selection as well. Service is always better at the bar than the tables. Table service is hit or miss. Usually miss and very slow. Drinks to tables come very slowly as well. Definitely worth a visit

I enjoyed my boneless wings and fries however, my friend ordered a "B and Other letter" slider with pulled pork and it was quite fatty. She order 3 sliders but could only fully eat one before she got tired of the texture and taste. Other than that I was a great new spot with good drinks. I plan to try and convince her to give it another try and maybe look at brunch.

Nice spot and atmosphere! Wide selection of beers and good food. Went during a pretty busy Saturday afternoon. Short wait to get seated, but we waited quite a while for our food. Also, our order wasn’t completely accurate, but a manager apologized for the wait and got our order right. Overall, the experience was decent and I will give this place another shot. I will just be a bit more conscious to avoid peak times.

Everything on the menu is great. Plenty of beers, local and more nationwide if you have a particular taste. The feel of the place is what you want if you look for a 'dive bar' but has the quality of a 5 star restaraunt. I would recommend the wraps or tacos but you cant go wrong with any item on the menu.

The wait wasn't as long as expected. Oh think had I known, I would have made reservations. Atmosphere was good, our service wasn't the speediest and the menu was just ok. I wanted to give it 4 stars but I think it just needs a menu that had a few "wow" items. Staff was great though, no complaints there. To be honest, I'd return.

Lexi (Alexis) was our server tonight and she was a Rockstar! Im moving here soon and she answered all of our crazy questions about Nashville. She was so sweet so whoever runs this place better make sure she gets a raise! We got the brisket tacos and the Carne asada tacos and both were excellent. Don't pass up on the Mega Margarita (especially on a Tuesday for the $15 price). We also heard that they have a fun "throw a shot glass at a bell" game, but we didn't take part in that fun. Definitely will try it the next time. Highly recommend this place!

The Roasted Mushroom tacos were SUPERB!!!! Gulped them up right quick! Lol.. they were perfectly marinated, still had a bite to them (al dente lol) and we're great with the avocado salsa and pickled onions. Possibly some of the best veggie tacos I've ever had so far! Staff was friendly. They had live music going on. They have little games set up around the building. My favorite is the ice shots and then you throw it against the wall and try to hot a bell... Super fun. Doesn't sound fun when I say it.. but it's fun. Also, they have beyond meat burgers and fries Oreos. It's lit.

This was stop number 2 on a bar crawl. It was also the stop we needed for food. With too many good options on the menu we went for the sampler plate of appetizers. IT WAS AWESOME. Wings, pretzels, cheese sticks, tater tots and chicken and waffle bites. The presentation on a board is great and I think the best was the chicken and waffle bites(boneless chicken fried in a waffle batter with maple syrup dipping sauce). The food was better than we had anticipated and a great late night stop.

This is bar food fare but totally elevated. Unexpected flavors and textures that are totally delightful and perfectly executed. Also, the service is exceptional. Everyone we have talked to (including the sous chef) had been wonderful, engaging, invested in all of us enjoying the experience, and clearly proud of what they do (with good reason).

Went here twice on my trip to Nashville. Located in midtown it was from the hustle and bustle of Broadway for a while. I think we hung out here and chatted at the bar more than any place in the five days we spent in town. Lot's of really cool people at the bar and even went out with them downtown. And of course I have to mention that our amazing bartender Serena made our experience near perfect! If you get the opportunity to check out hopsmith make sure you visit her at the bar she will make it worth it. Oh and the food was fantastic we were recommended that location by another local bar.

This place was absolutely phenomenal. My husband had the bacon tacos and they were delicious. I've never had bacon that tasted so good. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone. You're missing out if you don't give them a try. They have an extensive drink menu and many different food items to chose from as well.

Hopsmith is a great eatery, staffed by some very talented people. The atmosphere is stunning, highlighted by a cleverly designed, wall mounted half-a Jeep with an operating horn and interior lights. It's just a great place!

Ginger-mint ceviche and the mushroom & gruyere burger were fantastic. The Mexican street corn was not. Too much focus on roasted corn and not enough on the flavor of the cream and cheese. It needed spice and just was disappointing for the price. Honestly the ceviche and burger were 5 stars in terms of deliciousness. Definitely top 5 for the burgers. The one star deduction is because we were seated at a small circular table that could not accommodate the plates of food without taking the extra silverware, the dishes and salts off. We had no elbow room or a place to put our wet raincoats down. Definitely a tavern/bar feel with the high chairs. They were a bit of struggle for me as I am both short and pregnant right now. We will be back but in the future when I can handle being up high. But, we will be back with friends so we can have a bigger table.

You can see a TV from anywhere in the bar, so it's great for sports. My girlfriend is vegetarian and had lots of options on the menu, which can be hard in Nashville. Service is great too. We will definitely be coming back, especially to try the tables that have taps on them.

I go to Hopsmith with friends often and it has always been amazing. I chose this location for a business gathering of friends and clients recently and I had a mixed opinion for the first time. I attempted to announce how many ppl would be attempting so the staff that I love could be prepared. Getting a hold of the event planner was very challenging. I was eventually left a message after several attempts, informing me that Hopsmith does not take reservations for brunch. I arrived early in preparation for the party I had planned. The hostess did the very best she good with the policy they have in place. She could only seat us for who was there. So coming early did nothing. Our party grew as expected. I truly feel if the event planner could have at least given her a heads up it would have meant a lot to her and her colleagues. The best part is coming.. Our bartender, Brian, was beyond wonderful. He was solo in the basement area. That is where I told the establishment many times I was looking to be. I am sure none of the staff was told this. Brian was amazing, I can't stress this enough. Our large party felt catered to. The other party of 14 and parties of 6 did too. From beginning to end, Brian made everyones event special. This story, is just one story. I love this location. They all work hard. I would only recommend communication being an area of growth. The food is always amazing! The drinks are consistent. Please try them.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and super accommodating, but the price points on a take out order of 1 multigrain slice of toast, order of biscuits and gravy and 2 eggs scrambled with 3 orange juices was $42....and though the biscuits were good, gravy was not, so definitely disappointing on that aspect, place was jam packed and lively, lots of seating and clean, very clean even with bustle of people clamoring for seating.....staff very efficient in getting tables turned over for new clients.....

I love the awesome beer selection here, and the staff are very friendly. The food is overpriced, and the beer is somewhat, but both are to be expected in Midtown. Also they frequently have good happy hour deals that make the beers much cheaper.

Coming from Chicago, I really enjoy going here for the Italian beef sliders. They are the closest thing I can get to the real deal from Chicago. Also they have the great Chicago beers that I could have back home from Goose Island to Lagunitas. I will continue coming back here for the good food and great drinks from Chicago IL.!
