Reviews of Henrietta Red
Dave Walczynski
This restaurant is a true gem. Enter into a clean cut space decorated with vibes of downtown Charleston. Chef Julia Sullivan takes simple clean ingredients and elevates them with flavor combinations which are out of the box, yet extremely well balanced. Each plate starts and leaves you wondering how these masters of their craft put together such complex tastes. The cocktails are equally complex and well balanced. This establishment and this chef are a must experience for your night out in Nashville.

My oh my! What a phenomenal dining experience. The food and service were both outstanding. This is a great place for killer seafood. The oysters, shrimp and grouper were all amazing. The highlight was the gnocchi with corn. A must have dish if you are going here. We’re we’re on the patio for a private dinner and got to taste a ton of different dishes.

Yes. Yes. Yes! This place is awesome! The service was fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect and very clean. We loved our food! We enjoyed appetizers, oysters, entrees, and dessert. In my opinion, everything about this place was worth it.
I would suggest always having a reservation as it is not a big restaurant and very popular. There is a small outdoor patio and small indoor bar.

They sell oysters. Lots and lots of oysters. Nature-made oysters. Doesn’t take much to shuck an oyster. There was an overly salty theme permeating everything I ordered. And I ordered plenty. There are interesting culinary ideas here, that don’t work. Humidity quickly softens crackers and tuilles. Confits and cubes didn’t cut the mustard. Fermentation technique and applications seem to be still trying to find a moment. You will pay for over staffing and ambiance. But, there’s quite an ambiance. Plucked straight from the pages of Southern Living. If that’s your sort of thing, go for it. Dress to impress here. It’s over fried gentrified.

Henrietta Red was our favorite restaurant in Nashville. Everything from service to food to design were top notch.
Our server was so genuinely friendly and helpful. (He gave us a list of lunch places to check out.) The drinks were fantastic. But the food was out-of-this-world.
We started with oysters which were incredibly fresh, delicate and delicious. The standout oyster was the Little Honey, which I had never had.
We then had Poppy’s Caviar, which was a spectacular dish. The creamy sour cream and tangy spring onion vinaigrette complimented the paddlefish caviar perfectly. The accompanying crackers were delicate and delicious.
The crispy shrimp snack was amazing. It was similar to a light hush puppy with chunks of sweet, tender shrimp nestled inside. The hot mustard was so flavorful with the perfect amount of heat.
The scallops and mussels were equally as stellar. The proteins were fresh and cooked perfectly.
Henrietta Red is now on our do-not-miss list whenever we come to Nashville.

Probably the most unusual combination of foods yet simple in number of ingredients so the foods compliment each other. Absolutely delicious. The flavors were amazing and satisfying. Everything so fresh and surprising. I actually loved the raw oysters and caviar, which I normally have difficulty eating. The environment is lively, fun yet it was easy to carry on a conversation.

I came for the Bagelshop x brunch menu. So delicious. You could easily miss the location but inside its beautiful and light and airy. I ordered a lot thinking I would bring everything home- but it was so good barely anything made it in the to-go bag. I had an egg salad on poppy seed bagel, potato latkes with a light and fluffy caviar, and a delicious paloma. The bathroom also had quirky art that was awesome so had to include pictures! I will definitely be back.

I went as a solo diner and grabbed a seat at the bar, great vibe here! I got a wine and the snapper, which I thoroughly enjoyed! I wish the service was a bit better, I had to catch the attention of the bartender multiple times even though there was 4-5 people behind there. He also charged me for the incorrect bill and didn't notice until I was getting up to leave, no big deal, but it was on a gift card so I had to give my phone back so he could refund and charge again.

Was here with my wife last night as our first meal in Nashville. I would highly recommend this place for the food, the atmosphere and the service.
started off with an espresso martini which was more on the coffee side than the sweet side, just the way i like it.
after the drink we shared a dozen raw oysters. there are many varieties to choose from and the server was great at providing detailed explanations. she was spot on with her descriptions and i thoroughly enjoyed the oysters. the sauvignon blanc paired wonderfully with the oysters.
then we had the snapper crudo. holy $&%# it was amazing. i would say best dish of the night. well balanced mix of salt, acid, fish and a tad of sweetness. really a must have!!
the poached scallops were also super good and very flavorful and the tomato toast with eggplant and burrata was also a very well balanced dish. would order these again for sure.
had the above with a glass of cava and it paired extremely well.
we opted to share a main dish, which was the snapper. it came out with pickled peaches. they were really good but unfortunately the fish was way o er salted. i tried it on its own and with the pickled peaches but could not get over the salt. this is the main reason i left off a star.
the server was on top of the issue asking if we wanted something else. but see that we were getting full (would have gladly eaten the dish if it was good) she took it off the bill.
by the way. my wife wanted a sangria but there was non on the menu. the bartender made her a sangria drink which was ridiculous (in a good way).
Henrietta Red does not disappoint. not in their menu not in their service and not in their atmosphere. if it were not for the myriad of other places we want to try while here, we would rerun in a heartbeat.

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had, hands down! From start to finish the entire experience felt intimate but fun. Our server Jared was wonderful, accommodating our every need. Every dish we got was exquisite, full of flavor and just the right size. We were also incredibly happy with the oyster selection! This place is SO good - come here, 1000%. Be sure to make reservations a week out though!

A little far from Broadway, this restaurant is set in a nice neighborhood, but set with a very trendy and chic vibe. We found reservations and seating to be very simple. The restaurant has a very open appearance and the kitchen and some food prep is easy to see. We had a good size group, so basically ordered one of everything. I'd skip the topped breads and go right into the sausage, the eggplant, and the scallops. My wife loved the tomato toast, so you probably won't go wrong there. Though it has a feeling of a DC Bib Gourmand, it's more reasonably priced. The scallops are excellent, particularly considering how far from the bay they are!

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was beautiful! It’s on the pricier side, but not too bad at all! (Especially since it’s Nashville! Only $30 for me and my partner! Very high quality food!)

What an amazing meal! Service was great also. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Absolutely worth every penny.

I have mixed feelings on this spot. Most of the items we planned on trying were sold out . I went with the crab cake which was good but I had to go eat again right after. The mimosa was not the best I've had before . The venue is very pretty !! Wish we were able to try what we planned. Service was nice and they tried their best to keep us happy. Don't think I have to go back there again...
Eduardo Karpat
One of the best foods we had in Nashville. Well thought out and prepared dishes, very creative and comforting. We arrived at happy hour and had very good cocktails too!
Rita K.
We just had dinner. Oysters were fantastic. Waitress was not friendly. Read the menu closely and ask questions to be sure you know what you are getting. Most of the dishes were good, but not what we expected. Gnocchi with beef was very salty.
Mussels are heavy curry ( we should have known. ). Overall good but more information about the dishes would have helped.
Ashley Pelham Mallela
Pretty good! I was not FLOORED by the food, but it was still good! The gnocchi and shrimp pasta were good, but did not live up to my expectations. The crab dip was very good. My favorite was 10000% the pakoras (shown in photo). They were AMAZING. If I go back, that's all I want to eat. The old fashioned was not the best I have had and not the worst. Nice experience. May come back to try their dessert drinks
Lydia Huang
Such a great spot for date night! The ambiance and decor were beautiful.
We ordered a selection of oysters from the raw bar, crab dip, and the seared scallops.
The oysters were fresh and prepped really well. The crab dip was generous and I liked that it wasn't just all filler. However, I do wish that it came with more than 4 pieces of bread, since there was a lot of dip to get through. The scallops were perfectly cooked and I loved the sauce and potatoes it came with.
Ryan
Henrietta Red is a must-visit restaurant for anyone who loves oysters. They have a wide variety of different varieties to choose from, and the server was great at providing detailed explanations of each one. She really knew her stuff, and I felt like I was in good hands as I tried out different types of oysters.
But the oysters aren't the only thing that sets Henrietta Red apart. There are loads of amazing menu items. You really can't go wrong. And the restaurant itself is set in a nice neighborhood with a trendy and chic vibe. It's the perfect spot for a special occasion or a night out with friends.
Sarah Kolb
Came for oysters and apps—both were incredible. My husband and I ordered 12 and had to get 6 more because they were so good! Drinks were awesome as well. Best oysters we’ve had in Nashville area to date!
Don Jr
Sunday Brunch, the okonomiyaki was very good; the hamburger was exceptionally good. Service was awesome , our waiter was informative and attentive.
Ed Nichanian
Exquisite Red Snapper crudo. Roasted Green Curry oysters were plain. Honestly, with such a large selection of fresh oysters, it's a shame that Ii got 'em grilled! But I was not here for that!
Great flavor profile on the Octopus salad. Loved it
Fried Eggplant was a disappointment. Over cooked, thick breading with undercooked eggplant. Would have been better Tempura or just wash & flour! The accompanying Muhammara was delicious though
Very interesting Roasted Lamb Sausage dish. Yogurt, peanuts, Shishito, but it is screaming for a little starch
Peach + Pepita dessert was delich with a sip of Grand Marnier Cuvee Louis-Alexander ❤️
Good, balanced wine list but again lacking in by the glass selection. Coravin time folks!
Staff here knows their stuff and is passionate. Not here just for the buck. If this place is short staffed, you couldn't tell!! Cudos.
Lorain C
Very clean, sparce ambiance. Service attentive, but more formal.
The fried shrimp balls were good, nice chunks of shrimp and dipping sauce. The grouper was cooked well with a nice crunch, but I would've loved a sauce of some sort to elevate it. The accompanying green beans with pistachios were delicious. I'd eat a whole bowl of that and be happy. The scallops were huge and the spicy sauce with fennel was excellent, but then it overwhelms the delicate flavor of the scallops.
So, a slightly mixed bag for me. I can't fault the precision or presentation of each individual component, but came up slightly short in the overall plate cohesiveness.
Devin Jurek
The staff was great and very helpful. We had the best squid salad I've ever had and the oysters were phenomenal... Our waiter even let us order oyster shooters even though it wasn't on the menu. 10/10 would love to go again.
Janie Hubert
Good vibes. Excellent service yet attentive, positive culinary experience + attention to detail. Very honest wine list .. and amazing customer experience until the end. Kudos to Henrietta Red’ Team and Brigade. The best kept secret in Nashville!!! A must go !
Scott Bluerock
This was my first visit on a dinner date with my wife.
I enjoyed my food, though appetizers came after the entrees. It has a clean, white, simple decor. Nice, but a different mood than i like for a dinner date.
I would most likely go again for lunch.
Colin Shaw
Food was super tasty - oyster menu was exceptional and so fun to see so much diversity on it!!!. We really enjoyed the oysters, white fish dip, and most of the apps.
Portions on the mains were quite small (e.g., the gnocchi was like 5 or 6 pieces), and the kitchen was struggling to keep up with demand on a Tuesday.

My group and I were walking through Germantown looking for a place for dinner and saw the best vibes through the window of the main seating area, immediately decided we had to go in! They accommodated us very quickly as walk-ins on a busy night and took the best care of us. We told our server Annie it was our first time at an oyster bar and that we wanted a good cocktail, and she handled it from there. We are still dreaming about the Soft Cadence and Idle Hands! Highly recommend for any date night or special event you want to celebrate! We were visiting from out of town and I think any Nashville tourist would enjoy this stop.
Daiane Schmoller
I had oysters and polenta, very good. Also, the host was probably the nicest and kindest host I ever seen in the restaurant business. The bartender also was very friendly! I would definitely go back here when I return to Nashville for the food and the awesome people!
Cindy Gunawan
Looking for a hip cool brunch spot, then look no further. This place is perfect for sharing plates. Our waiter was fabulous. He was very attentive, but just right to the point where they’re not constantly bugging you- lol. We went with another couple and we had two different kinds of raw oysters,
wood roasted oysters with spinach Rockefeller butter, mushroom polenta, farmer’s quiche, crispy delicate squash, and crab cakes. Everything was unique, and delicious. I would definitely come back.

This place is Tapa-ish with kinda stuffy hipster feel. Food was very flavorful. I normally need more flavor added to my fish tacos ie salsa or tobasco but they were so tasty I didn't need more flavor, they were excellent. The tomato salad was excellent. The pork was tasty but not my favorite of the meal. Service was slow and inconsistent even when they didn't look very busy. I had to chase down a server to take our order after 10 minutes of waiting when it wasn't that busy, that same server forgot to order my second round of oysters. Food, yes! But Service, no....too lax
Sabrina Gonzalez
Food was really great, my fish and chips was by far the best I’ve ever had outside of the UK. I will dream about those potatoes! The crab dip with focaccia was tasty just a little over salted. My husbands burger was awesome and the bean salad had the perfect amount of acid. Unfortunately the service aspect was non existent. Obviously they had to pivot their style of service with the pandemic but even someone having the courtesy to check on us would have been nice.
ELM
We (2 of us) shared the Polenta, Chicken Liver, Sausage and Grouper plates. Our very good server (Volney) advised us that an additional plate might be too much and he was right. The Polenta and Liver were out of the park good. We didn't order alcohol and the bill was still + $100 just so you know. The.place has plenty of seating but there weren't many empty tables on a Tuesday night so reservations are advised.

We tried a number of new places in Nashville in '22 and this was our favorite new find. Beef tartare was excellent. Great ambience and service was top notch. Perfectly prepared fish.
AJ Gabriella
First time coming here. The restaurant was beautiful. I enjoyed having an open floor plan and being able to see the people working in the kitchen. The brick oven was my favorite.
The oysters were very buttery, some a little less buttery but I enjoyed the dishes none the less. I was pleasantly surprised by that butternut squash dish! So refreshing and light and delicious. Yummy! Going to try to make a dupe at home because I want this all the time!
H E A D S UP!
-Must wear mask at the table when the server is at the table for extended periods.
-Mask are available for a charge if forgotten.
-Crab cakes are only available during brunch.

This is the go to place for seafood in Nashville. Oysters are a great starter which may be fresh or cooked with a variety of sauces. The seafood was cooked perfectly. The tacos were good but it was the ceviche that was excellent. The service was great and the food was served in such a logical order. Add a local beer and dinner was perfect.
Back again and it was another perfect meal. 5 stars x 2.
Alfred Stewart
Hard working staff for sure. Food was pretty good. Wife ended up getting very sick from something she ate. Maybe the normal menu is better than the collab we went to with carne mar on February 8th.
Bobby Allen
This is one of my favorite places to take clients (or the boss, this time) for dinner when we are in Nashville for a conference. We enjoy the expertly-shucked oysters, innovative cocktails, and the atmosphere is lively and stylish.
We tend to order a bunch of plates and share around, as they suggest. Their scallops are always perfect, and the menu is creative and surprising.
As someone with food allergies, I appreciate how complete their description is for each offering and their Oyster card is very accurate as well for people who are just starting out on that bivalve journey. Love it!
Laura H
I can't imagine a better brunch and seafood spot. It had fantastic service, great ambiance, we didn't have to wait at all, and the food is all homemade. The oysters had a great selection and came quickly. The brioche sandwich was amazing, and the biscuit too.
Wendy Halsey
Great brunch today. Teddy provided exceptional service!!!
We tried the banana bread, polenta, breakfast sandwich, ozy.....something appetizer, bloody mary and iced coffee. It was all exceptional. We will be back!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an incredible time for dinner. We actually arrived at the bar in time for Happy Hour with James, our bartender, and had some great Cava drinks, a Night Manager, and an Old Fashioned all before what we thought was our 6:30pm reservation. We presented ourselves for our 6:30pm reservation & we were told that our rez was for 6pm & that they couldn't seat us until 8:30pm (after we had just spent $175 in an hour). My wife had made a time entry mistake. Not to worry. We were fortunate, since our bar seats had not been taken, & we went back to the bar & had dinner with James. It worked out nicely. The sweet potato dish was outstanding, the fresh Fisher Island oysters were amazing, the green curry oysters were incredibly good (& I hate green curry), the oyster steak was filling and memorable, & the chicken liver pâté was some of the best that I've ever had in my life. Even the Funky Monkey Sundae dessert was outstanding. Oh, and the drinks that we both had were all very tasty & satisfying. James is a hech of a bartender & an excellent rep for Henrietta Red. We will be back for sure. Actually, we are going for brunch, as well. That's how good this place is compared to other places. We're here for a weekend & we make plans to eat there twice because it is that memorable.

Henrietta Red will deliver a delight! A chic and welcoming ambiance at the bar set the stage for the delightful surprise that Chef Julia Sullivan soon delivered thereafter. Our night started with the Wabash Cannonball and the Little Deuce Coupe off the Cocktail - both were delicious. Our cocktails were followed by the delivery of the Wood Fired Bread, Chilled Corn Soup and Peach Salad. All three of which were delightful.
Soon after our starters a beverage that goes by Wabash Cannonball was delivered followed by the Ricotta & Tomatoes and what was easily the star of the show - The Cauliflower Steak. The Cauliflower Steak is ridiculously delicious, it continued to amaze us even after the plate was wiped cleaned. My understanding is that we had accidentally stumbled onto the most popular dish at H.R. and it would come to us as no surprise - the Cauliflower Steak alone will be brining us back.
I would be lying if I said we stopped there because there was a dessert. Did we need a dessert? No. Did we order one? Yes, and it too was devoured. We ordered something that I couldn't find on the menu when referencing it today, but it consisted of olive oil ice cream, fresh watermelon, fresh basil, angel food cake and some other ingredients wickedly combined with witchcraft to give your taste buds an amazing workout. Enough said.
Henrietta Red has easily snagged a spot on one of my top ten favorite Nashville restaurants...proceed and eat well my friends!

Creative place with nice atmosphere. The mezcal cocktail was great being smoky and smooth texture at top made by egg white. Chicken liver dish was creamy and great with bread. The fat at the top adds texture to overall taste. Red snapper crudo was refreshing. Got the grouper as entree. It was on the lighter side but cooked well since mediocre restaurant tends to over cook fish. It was still moist with side slightly fried and crunchy
Bridget Melton
We arrived at 1130 for brunch on Sunday and were able to sit at a communal table without reservations at once. After that the place got crowded. The food was great and the service attentive. Cocktails were also amazing.
Brick Wall
Wonderful Sunday lunch. Delicious, high quality healthy food. Oyster selection was tremendous.
Jon W. Lee
Had a brocolli toast, french fries and sticky bun. They were great. French fries were exceptionally good. Brocolli toast might not for everybody. Little strong Indian spice flavor which I do like but probably not for everyone. Sticky bun is like a cinnabon. Coffee milk cocktail was amazing as well.
Andrew Mathewes
Absolutely fantastic. Three great oysters on the bartender's recommendation, snapper crudo was divine! Scallops with the squash puree rocked too, and we finished it off with a beautiful heirloom tomato salad with summer peaches. Best dinner in a while
Bianca Sias
Lively place for brunch. They have a great selection of oysters and the bar staff is attuned to a variety of drinks...and they make them well. It can get noisy, so if you are trying to have a private conversation, you are better served to seat in the bar area instead of the main dining area.
August M
Very tasty! Cool venue with great food, the kimchi farro bowl hit the spot! My partner got a potato pancake with salt grouper and said it was great. We went here in 2019 but I just realized I had pictures to add 😂 …
Marc Dockter
Loved the brunch! The eggs and beans dish was incredible and everybody else at my table really enjoyed what they had as well. Not my favorite bloody mary, but it wasn't bad. The mimosas looked great, though. Monkey bread was also amazing for sharing with a group of 5.
Matthew Rogers
Really impressed. Started light with the raw bar and worked our way to the beat salad and mushroom steak. The salad had delicious pockets of a hot / spicy chili oil maybe and balanced with a nutty, creamy sweet. It was perfectly balanced. The mushroom steak was tender and earthy and cooked to perfection. It was so beautiful, I hesitated to dig in. The oven bread with anchovy butter was too fishy for my taste, but they substituted regular butter.
Edwin Acevedo
The warm crab dip appetizer and the fried oyster sandwich were the stars of this meal. I liked the oyster appetizer with Calabrian peppers and my wife didn't, while she loved the roasted broccoli toast and I didn't. Overall a very good meal, and we'd go back.
J G
Finally made the brunch and it did not disappoint! Started with wood fired oysters which were amazing! Had the breakfast sandwich with a side of polenta which were also notable. The egg on the breakfast sandwich was light and fluffy. The breakfast sausage on the sandwich tasted fresh and herby. The onion roll bread was a perfect pairing. The polenta was smooth, cheesy, and tasted amazing! I have been to Henrietta Red in the past but the brunch knocked it out of the park. The bloody mary was wonderful and did not taste like a mix. The Paloma was also great, light and refreshing. If you are a traditionalist, the pancakes are great as well. Light and thick which is sometimes a difficult combination to pull off in a pancake. Ended with the monkey bread that was delicate and flavorful. I worried that the orange would have been overpowering but it ended up being perfect. Highly recommend experiencing this brunch if you haven't already!
Courtney Mills
Loved Henrietta Red! Very pretty, bright white decor. A group of 5 friends and I came from New York and it was our first time in Nashville. We made reservations and we were happy to try this place. I don't eat Oysters but my friends had a happy hour tray of them and seemed to enjoy them. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly and the person delivering our food cheered with us when we did since we were excited about the food. The wood fired bread is amazing, and we split the Peach Salad and the Ricotta and Tomato salad. I got the Trout and it was delicious and we also got the Malted Chocolate to split with two friends. if you are into Chocolate, this is a good choice! Highly recommend this place.
Brandon Ramirez
This meal was so good. The vegan entree dish was top tier, the crudo had so much snapper and was delicious, and the snapper entree slapped.
Sarah Kynard
This was a unique dining experience. Very cool setting with an open kitchen and staff bustling about as you eat. The dishes are small portions and you are encouraged to order several different things and share. We enjoyed the oysters (raw and wood fired) and shrimp toast. My husband ordered Snapper but they served him Grouper…we didn’t want to wait so we just had to go with it. Desserts were delicious (chocolate hazelnut and cheesecake!). Our server was great. Overall, an enjoyable date night.
K Young
Love this place! Everything always tastes amazing. Chef is a genius at pairing different ingredients that you wouldn't think go together but the flavors compliment each other so well. The menu changes frequently but if you get a chance to have the broccoli toast, red snapper crudo, Bibb lettuce salad, sweet potato spread and brandade croquettes go for it!
Leah Gwin Hoefling
Henrietta Red is incredible. Great wine menu, amazing oysters, fresh seafood— all served in a stunning environment.
However, I also wanted to leave this 5 star review because we ate dinner the other night and had Fletcher as our server, and he went above and beyond to help us with suggestions, check on us, and provide an incredible experience. If you happen to be seated in Fletcher’s section— lucky you! He’s so kind and awesome!! 👏🏼👏🏼

First time visiting went for brunch - the weather was perfect so we got to sit outside on their adorable porch. The aesthetics of this place were amazing - you can tell there was a ton of thought that went into it. Great food & atmosphere. Our server was extremely nice!
Daniel Hudgins
Wish I could give it five stars, but they’re always out of about half the menu. Delicious food and amazing staff still make it a great spot.
Kristiane Naegler
Squash toast was perfect. Baked egg also lovely but added hot sauce. Recommend the apple fritter-but more of a lemon taste... not apple. Don't pass this place up in Germantown.
Brian G
The pastrami sandwich was absolutely delicious, but at 18 bucks for only the sandwich and no side it just seemed a bit expensive.
David Rinker
Imaginative and fresh. Seafood-centric but far from seafood exclusive. Overall, possibly the best restaurant in Nashville.
Ray C
Comfort new American style dining in a modern farm home like style setting. The raw oyster platter snd scallops are a get. Free parking is available.
Sarah Kate Fudge
Cute atmosphere where delicious menu. Staff needs a lot of help to get things correct and on time but overall good food. Be prepared to wait. Monkey bread is amazing!
Charlotte DeJean
Wonderful food, atmosphere, and wait staff. Really know the product and attentive to all need. Have recommended to everyone I have talked to that may be traveling to Nashville. A true gem.
Debbie Murnan
Stunning restaurant with incredibly kind staff and beautifully plated food! My family came for brunch today and we all were blown away by the food, especially the summer polenta! Yum!
Zubair Ahmad
Gorgeous new restaurant from Strategic Hospitality group located in Germantown. Stopped for a quick bite before heading to lunch. The kimchi farro bowl was spectacular, vibrant and bright flavors, but also hearty and stick to your ribs warmth. Mushroom polenta was good, but missing salt. Monkey bread was to die for. Wish I had time for more pastries. The aesthetic is beautiful, with a massive marble bar when you walk in. The dining room was many windows with natural light pouring in. Also, the happy hour seemed like one of the best in Nashville.
April Dulin
Went here with some girls after work. They open at five. I expected the place to feel clinical and too urban, with all of the white surroundings. But actually, the light was soft and the ambience was comfortable rather than pretentious, which was a pleasant surprise. We got silly and ordered Jell-O shots. They were so good! Port Sherry shots. We ordered a few appetizer to share. We loved everything. Service was prompt and the staff are so friendly. It felt totally like a local spot. Recommend.
Ron
Unreal experience. Incredible food. The chef should be proud. Wait staff was excellent. Drinks, delicious. I had the potato pancake it was probably the best this I ate in Nashville. I wish they would open one in Pittsburgh so I could go every week.
Omid Aslani
Perfection!
Tried 6 dishes (small plates) and ALL, 100% were just out of this world.
You MUST try this place. No question about it!
So so tasty and light feeling.
The apple cobbler (vegan mind you) is also out of this world.
Charles Cooper
The hype is well deserved. Henrietta Red is a remarkable restaurant and a must visit if you're in the music city. The menu is creative and delightful, well presented and so very enjoyable. An amazing achievement for any restaurant, but one that is perhaps made just a little more notable because of its location. Because even as Nashville is transforming its being pulled in two distinct directions. One that's a Mecca for tourists and out of town party goers--as represented by Kid Rock's "honky tonk", peddle taverns, scooters, and Hot Chicken. And the other that's a beacon for more artistry and craft and the elevation of Nashville into a more cosmopolitan destination for food, music, and culture. Of which, if it wasn't obvious, is epitomized by Henrietta Red.
The menu is devoid of southern fried anything. The portions are more tapas like, and the price is reflected in the quality and source of their ingredients. But if you appreciate fine food, good service, and present setting, then this spot should be on your list.
Casper Verhoofstad
Contemporary restaurant with modern design. Steak tartar comes highly recommended. The also have an oyster bar with happy hour!
Dailoc Nguyen
Food here is delicious as always. Menu changes with the seasons so there's always something new to try. Staff was super nice and attentive.

Birthday macaroons, great service, and an amazing Sunday Brunch.
The Bloody Mary had a nice kick in terms of spice, but wasn't overwhelming.
I love that you can pick and chose oysters from across the country. We had eight total, two from four different locations. The oysters were fresh and served with three different sauces to try (two vinegar based and a traditional cocktail sauce).
Quiche was fluffy and delicious...I didn't order it because I traditionally don't like quiche, but I reluctantly tried it when offered by my partner. When we go back in future I'll likely order the quiche (quite a feat). My dish, a baked egg skillet with beans, was a twist on traditional huevos rancheros that made me full and still wishing I had more.
The waitress was attentively casual (perfect for a brunch) and gave some of the best service I've had in a long time.
As mentioned before, I'll be going back, and soon.

One of my favorite places I’ve been to here! So good and their happy hour is awesome! Highly suggest going! Book a reservation for sure!

Been to brunch a few times. Have never been disappointed. Friendly and helpful staff and the food is always done just the way I ordered it. Comes out promptly still hot... Worth a visit!
Eryn Crawford
Love this spot. If oysters are your jam, go for it. The kumomotos are to die for. Also loved their brunch monkey bread. Simply scrumptious.
Chris Rivera
Great food and good selection of oysters. They have a happy hour and a special on certain oysters

Amazing meal. Brunch was fabulous. Must try the salty caramel donut.
Caroline Moore
Such a lovely dinner here! Everything was shareable and so delicious.
Matt Greer Music
Came in last night and our dinner was off the chain. So so good. The service. The drinks. The food.. all of it was perfect.
But please, with as most honesty and seriousness as I can muster, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, get rid of those awful chairs at the tables. Please I implore you, please don't make guests sit in those horribly uncomfortable things. They are too low, at a weird angle and the back "support" digs into your spine. I was constantly shifting around and never could find a good spot. Not the way I want to spend my time during dinner. I know they might look cool but ergonomically they are horrible and not meant for real humans to actually sit in.
You deserve a great review because you got it right on what you needed to (the food) but those chairs are torturous.
Love ya, mean it (but the chairs do suck).
Stephan Romanchak
Not sure if it's just the times we're in or what, but the service was not up to my standard whatsoever. My guests arrived early and were treated quite rudely when asked if we could sit together and one of the staff during check-in even went as far as to say that one of my guests was not even from town because she was "overdressed and trying too hard" while on visit to Nashville. Our party of 10 was informed that we would be splitting tables and sitting at opposite ends of the restaurant. We knew in advance that we'd have to split tables but there was plenty enough room in the restaurant to accommodate sitting near by for good conversation, yet that didn't happen. When we tried to place appetizers we were told that we would have to order everything at once...and not in a kind manor either. It's fine if there are rules to the game, but it's also nice if someone explains it in a professional manor at the beginning. I dine out 3-4 nights a week because I have a travel position and I can say quite confidently that I will not return to this establishment or recommend it to any of my friends or colleagues in the future. Sad because the restaurant has potential.
Carla Corna
The food was delicious! We ordered several appetizers, different kinds of oysters, steak tartare, snapper crudo, scallops, flat bread with an anchovy spread, fresh pea salad….. would definitely recommend going there. Nice clean streamlined decor
Kerry Sturgis
2nd time here when in town and will continue to come back!! Oysters on point. Food beyond creative, unique and fun. Ambiance fantastic. And Fletcher, our server, was attentive and made the entire experience worth every penny.
John Sanders
Made the mistake of not reading the hours before I Ubered over there from Broadway... but it looked very promising and can't wait to return when the kitchen is actually open...lol... but was able to snap a couple of pictures and utilized the bathroom which meant a lot!!! Thanks y'all and I'll be back
Rude Love
One of the Best brunch designed restaurants I've dined at in Nashville. The service was excellent and the food was just as stellar. It's so good you have to try it! Y'all have done a great job upholding high standards. Alot of restaurants get too much respect for service/food but y'all fosho deserve it!
Catherine Phillips
Great food and great service! If you find yourself in Nashville, make it a point to add this place to your itinerary
Jin Yoo
Fantastic venue just outside of Broadway. Here on business, great good, great drinks, great service, not crowded, just perfect. :)
Cara Doyle
The vibes and overall atmosphere of Henrietta Red were immaculate. Really cute and trendy place. I came with a group of 8 for a Bachelorette Party. We sat outside under the covered patio which was beautiful. The food comes out "family style" which I was not expecting. The only thing that disappointed me was that the portions themselves of the "family style" plates were barely enough to feed one person. This ultimately gave us all about 1 bite each from each plate and that was it. They were more like tapas and sharing that family style is tricky. The reason they do family style is because the plates all come out at different times. Ultimately, the food was delicious and the drinks were also great. The waitress was attentive and very nice. At the end of the brunch, we were satisfied. Just something to be aware of.
Brooks Jones
Fantastic Food! I will visit every time I am in town.
Michele Pellizzon
Great variety of unique dishes, different flavors combinations.
Definitely recommend it.
Shandor Zabo
This is by far one of the best restaurants in Nashville. Everything is a step above expectation. I have been five or six times. Nothing has been underwhelming. Never once have I thought, this needs salt or this could use more acid. Henrietta Red is boss. Wishing I was there now. Oysters, Xare-lo cava, crudo. Then bring on the cocktails and make a plan for which way to eat though the menu. Always get the tartare. Always.
daniel misan
Geeat food, fresh, great service. Nice atmosphere. A/C rock(:
Chris Gross
Wow! We loved all the oysters, we had the bread with the beef carpaccio, then the amazing shrimp and the best cheesecake ever! Amazing, fun experience!
Calla Chow
The food was excellent! The service and overall vibe was excellent as well. We had the baked egg, paddlefish caviar, shrimp salad, and the cinnamon roll. We will be back.
Morgan Pfost
Fantastic brunch! Try a variety of oysters on the half shell first. Highly recommend!
Christy Hazelwood
Our party of 5 greatly enjoyed brunch. We were assisted by our fabulous server in selecting the Winter hash, Swiss chard salad, crabcake, among other selections. Fabulous friendly atmosphere!
Kelsey Mullaney
This was perhaps my favorite meal out I’ve ever had! Literally loved everything we tried and we expected the bill to be much higher. I’m not really one to order oysters but of course the oysters were phenomenal! I actually enjoyed that the service was a bit slow because it gave me a chance to digest every course. Go during happy hour!!!
Christa Berciunas
Great vibe - loved the interesting and tastey dishes. Oysters were great!
Sonny Li
I really enjoyed Henrietta Red. The menu was reasonably priced. The oysters were great. I had multiple different dishes. And when we had an issue with one of the dishes being too salty, the waitress immediately replaced it for us. I think my personal favorites were the roasted broccoli salad and the crab cake. They had a large drink menu. Also all the tables were well spaced out and all the employees had mask on correctly.
Donny Stewart
Excellent dining experience with proper service. The cocktails are great as well.
Stephan Chenette
Perfect romantic date spot. We loved the ambiance…beautiful open, bright, yet intimate setting. The food was delicious, we ordered and split a few oysters, winter squash, broccoli toast, and the lamb sausage with farro. The service was exceptional and the staff was on point.
Aaron Chase
Absolutely loved this place! Started the evening at the bar top with my fiancé and a whiskey on the rocks. Fletcher taught me some cool facts about the Belle Mead Bourbon, so fun and helpful. Usually I don’t like sitting at a bar top for dinner but Fletcher and crew made our night enjoyable!
Get the smoked trout and the scallops. One of the best meals I’ve ever had in Nashville.💯💯💯
Danielle Johnson
The atmosphere is nice. Perfect for brunch. However, we ordered biscuits that were cold in the middle and there was no offer to warm them up. Then we ordered a cinnamon roll, which was served cold. They said that's how they serve them.
Now idk where they have ever served cold cinnamon rolls but I have never had one until I came here. They should at least tell people the cinnamon roll is served cold.
Everything else we had was ok, my friend loved her crab cake and my mushroom risotto was not half bad, it could have use more mushrooms and less almonds, but it was much better than the cold biscuits and cold cinnamon roll that they still made us pay for.
My recommendation is to go earlier in the day at a chance of having hot food.
Casey Pestona
I have been here twice now, and both times were incredible! Definitely the best place to get oysters in the city
Bob Russo
Food is spectacular. The chef is great. Very imaginative. The waitress "Wheezie was a star. The manager should be shot. They ran out of food. 12 oyster selections. The top 6 were not available. The octopus salad. Nope out of it. Their signature Red fish appetizer. Nope. How about their seafood linguine. Nice try but too spicy. Bread $6. You got what everyone else didn't want. Thankfully it was good. See when you own a restaurant and Monday night football is coming to town. Think about it. In two weeks Grand Ole Opry is having its 5000 show. Order enough food for the weekend.
Alishia McCoullough
Amazing!
Great food, the stuff that comes out of that kitchen is art…. I highly advice you eat here…
From raw oysters that are more than appropriate to pasta. Just everything was A+
2 very minor negatives:
1. It’s a bit loud and I think a sound engineer can fix that issue very quickly.
2. When kitchen’s pay such great attention to their food you have to be patient. Get nice wine or one of their amazing cocktails and have a good conversation with those that join you. The kitchen takes their time but it is absolutely worth the wait.
Rhonda Laird
The ambiance was great. The service was good. The raw bar was fantastic even though they were out of two types of oysters. Descriptions of the oysters was spot on and the variety was great! The food was mostly small plates served family style which we love since we can all share. The shrimp the sausage and beet salad were excellent. The scallops we're interesting, perhaps it was too much for my pallet. It just felt like the chef tried to do too much. Great restaurant that shows the diversity in foods in Nashville.
Elizabeth Newman
My absolute favorite place for oysters. Their shrimp roll is amazing also, I can’t wait for the lobster roll to come back- I’ve heard it’s even better which is hard to fathom so YES PLEASE!! I’ve always had amazing service and I just love the atmosphere and all of the wonderful options!
Jaime Beuerlein
OMG. Everything we ate was AMAZING!! We had oysters and scallops and lamb sausage linguica and roasted cauliflower and octopus salad and their almond + coconut dessert. EVERY. BIT. WAS. DELIGHTFUL. Fletcher took great care of us, they went above-and-beyond for our dietary restrictions (dairy and gluten-free options), and the ambiance made for an absolutely wonderful evening. So glad we chose this place for our anniversary!
Alvina Perez
Very nice place for some Oysters and a light meal. Oysters are delicious! Very friendly staff. Suggest you make a reservation. The ambience is refreshing and bright but they do dim the lights later in the night.
Bill Murray
This place is awesome. Great service wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. What else could you want
Sam Bear
Couldn't love this restaurant more! Everything we've had here has been terrific. The staff is incredible. They hosted a private event for us and were a dream to work with. This place is special whether you're a local or visiting from out of town. Nashville is lucky to have it!
Del Gado
What a great meal. From start to finish. Oyster for sure Good service. I will return for sure. Street parking and some parking lots around the corner.
Valerie Libutti
We had the most delicious brunch here today!
Great atmosphere, great service, and fantastic food that’s reasonably priced.
The citrus smoked salmon with a bialy and leek cream cheese, pancakes, quiche, and beet & burrata salad were all amazing.
E. J. L
This is a lovely restaurant and we enjoyed an excellent meal. Everything we ordered was delicious, light and seasonal. The highlights were the red snapper, cucumber toast, heirloom tomato salad, and crab salad. The peach cobbler was to die for! Since the portions are on the small side, and you are meant to share each dish, you have to order a lot of food to get a complete meal. This gets very expensive, especially when you factor in cocktails (which were so good and should not be passed up!). Our server recommended 1 entree and 2 small plates per person. I would say this is an accurate estimate. The food is excellent quality, but be prepared for a pricey evening. Our server was average and wasn't able to answer all our questions about the menu. We will be back...but probably for a special occasion.
Irene Flores
The waitress will tell you that you need at least two dishes per person to 'share' and that does make for a fun night, but you need to be really hungry if you order both a first course and an entree to share with a dinner companion. I would start small and add more as needed...their service is super quick. We would have had just oysters and our first course options if we had thought ahead. It can be pricey...but it is just plain good.
Victoria Tsamis Civitillo
Food was delicious. Great options for both sweet and savory. Weezy was the MVP server, all of her recommendations were spot on.
A K
We chose to eat dinner here while staying the 1 night in Nashville. Super cute place and very busy for a Tuesday night. Great staff and atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was below expectations especially for the price. Everything we ate, on recommendation, was overwhelmingly salty. I'm not sure if this was the chef's mistake or it was our bad luck, but all 3 dishes - appetizer, and 2 entrees - were not able to be finished because the salt taste was so strong.
Scott Traynor
This place continues to serve amazing food. Went here tonight to celebrate the wife’s birthday and they made such a nice effort to wish her a special day.
By far one of the best dining experiences in Nashville!
Liz Marshall
Incredible experience! Definitely recommend reservations. We reserved 3 weeks in advance and it was completely packed when we arrived.
The atmosphere was unique like our dining experience, and the staff was EXTREMELY helpful. We requested recommendations for beer pairing with the oysters we selected, and we were given great suggestions! Even with our food, which are shared, we asked a lot of questions and our waiter was kind and patient to discuss what he considered "phenomenal" that day.
Highly recommend the oysters and the lamb- if available. They discussed how they rotate the menu. It's pretty difficult to not look on their website prior to eating dinner here. Even though their menu looks far-fetched with spices I wasn't familiar with, we did not have a bad meal! Everything was delicious and it made my birthday even more special!
Sarah Morrison Olson
As someone else said, what a gosh darn delight. This place was lovely. Every bite & sip was perfect.
Kitty Barrow
We went with a group and the waitress wouldn't split the check so our group won't be going back. The food was good. One of my friends had the gnocchi and lamb and didn't like it very well. I had the fish and chips and didn't think much of it. The cauliflower was good.
chris drish
Must visit spot! Terrific oysters and highly recommend Poppy's Caviar and the Wood Roasted Oysters
ed bunker
I really like the design design and the open kitchen even though I heard several something's dropping tonight. Wish I could try everything on the menu. So much sour cream on the caviar but the onion with shallots made up for it. Just visiting or I would be a regular for the oyster happy hour and the fantastic service! Great place!
Nate Smith
Great little place. Nice brunch spot on weekends and the oysters are to die for. I could have stayed all day just trying out all the oyster options.so tasty!
Jared Hu
Enjoy our dinner here - one of the best dinners this trip so far. Had raw oysters, grilled oysters, cerviche, fish tacos and mushroom pasta - loved everything. The restaurant practices extreme social distancing so we felt really safe during out time there. Highly recommended.
Candice Donisi
Been a couple of times now. We go on Sunday: $2 oysters and $5 cava at happy hour. Small plates are good for sharing. The thing we like are unique flavor profiles of the food— multi-layered and complex. Be prepared to be surprised. Great bar in a modern setting. A little noisy when it fills up but not intrusive. Try the Denver steak or the cassoulet. Both are excellent. Be sure to get a dessert, there is always a surprise flavor to two.
Bradley Denmilne
Great food!! Awesome service and taking COVID safety/precautions seriously for their customers safety! 10/10 would recommend! They also turned their inner dining space into a market -- support local business and check them out if you haven't already! Their new "Fish Camp" concept is a total win in my book!! recommend
Tracy Allensworth
Surprisingly, the best burger in Nashville. We came for brunch because we couldn't get dinner reservations and were delighted with the service, food and wine. Our red snapper crudo and side of biscuits were perfect starters and reason enough to come here. We loved the smoked trout toast and crab cake. Chef Julia has created a unique menu with fresh interesting combinations and is beautifully presented. We will be back!
Adrian Cruz
Fantastic food and drinks! We didn't have a reservation so we sat at the bar which did not matter to us in the slightest. We tried the 8 available oyster options which were all very good and surprisingly the best ones were from Alabama. We also had a couple appetizers that did not disappoint either. I will say the bartenders were slow to greet us initially (it wasn't that busy either when we sat down) but it got a lot better as our meal went on. A great spot to enjoy some seafood and unique food and drinks!
Grant Campos
Every dish was an inspired work of culinary art. We were visiting from SoCal and enjoyed everything from the iconic southern accent of the young man delivering split hickory wood for their oven, to the finished appetizer, the wood fired bread with anchovy butter.
Joseph Owen
Great oysters of all types. There take on the Manhattan on the cocktail menu is one of the best I ever had.
Liz Beavers
Only giving this place 3 stars. Good food, horrendous service. I have lived in Nashville 27 years, and this is the first time I have been treated like I was invisible. I took 3 friends (2 from out-of-town who were looking forward to a nice, trendy place to eat) to this restaurant and It was like nobody there really even cared we were there. So we ended up ordering a few oysters and drinks from the Happy Hour menu and then decided to leave. When we asked for the check, our server THREW it across the table at us. Jerks. Never going back, even tho' the oysters were delicious. At least they have that going for them. Ugh - I cannot abide pretentiousness like that - too cool and hip to serve 4 middle-aged ladies? Don't you know we're the ones with the money and actually give good tips for good service?
Treasure Curry
The ambience was absolutely beautiful, it reminded of a place Joanna and Chip Gaines (Fixer Upper) would create. A farm to table theme, indeed. There was dim lighting and a minimalistic table setting. My darling and I went for the first time and invited his cousin. The serving experience was basic, maybe because it was busy, we didn’t feel attended to. The menu was 1 page and if you mention you’re vegetarian they’ll give you another 1 sheet menu. We shared 2 plates together and surprisingly I was full. The thing is the food didn’t taste memorable. If you’re craving seafood, give it a try. On the left side of the menu the items are cheaper and on the right side, the prices go up, but not too much $$. I definitely want to go again because the atmosphere of the place was a win for me. It would only be fair to give another chance for a better view.
Michael Armentano
Oysters in a landlocked city - sound like a bad idea? Not here - same quality as NYC or PEI plus great drinks and superb environment.
Zach Moses
My wife and went here for a Saturday lunch date and we really enjoyed it. Wonderful raw bar and oyster selection. The citrus-cured salmon on the bialy bagel was the best salmon bagel I've ever had. Friendly waitstaff. Beautiful interior. We will go again.
Cory Williams
Gorgeous space. The raw bar is fairly pricey. Fluke crudo was fantastic. The kitchen menu was good. It was more bread-heavy than I expected, but overall the food was solid. The cocktail I ordered, with blood orange juice and a touch of cinnamon, was stunningly good. I would definitely go back.
Elizabeth Osborne
The food was overpriced and undercooked. They kept telling us that they serve things family style so everything wouldn’t come out together. However the food was not the type of food that is easily shared. Also, they took away the little share plates so we had nothing to put food on. Our server was MIA for most of the meal. Even with reservations, it took over an hour after we ordered for our food to arrive.
Amanda Nagle
Wow! Everything we ate was seriously so good. I had the peach snowcone, some oysters, hush puppies, and the ceviche and my date had the burger and fries- all of which were great. There is outdoor seating and a courtyard where you can have a picnic.
Carolyn J. Heinrich
We were a party of 6, and so we sampled more than a dozen menu items over the course of the dinner. Every item was incredible, abundant with flavor, many of them herb-infused. The food was light, not heavy with oils, and we devoured every sumptuous dish, not leaving a morsel on the plates. This is by far the best restaurant in Nashville, in my opinion, and I have been to every restaurant that makes the "Best of ..." lists. Thank you, Henrietta Red, for an unforgettable dining experience!
Jessica Stricklin
I wanted to love it, but ...
Pluses: nice interior, excellent wait staff, yummy food.
Minuses: incredibly over priced wine by the glass, minuscule "entree" portion for clams.
The raw oysters are fresh and delicious. My husband commented that the curry oysters were oily. I didn't notice that, though. They were very tasty.
The charge for wine was $17 per glass. Wow!
The clam curry was the biggest disappointment, though. Teensy clams, very few of them, and no bread for the sauce. Tasty, but the dish belongs on the small plate side of the menu.
Paul Solans
Great food and atmosphere, and excellent service. Everything we ate was good, and the meal was perfectly paced.
The bar area gets pretty loud, but the dining room is definitely less so. On our most recent trip, we had oysters and a fluke crudo to start - highly recommend the fluke. The scallops and snapper are both excellent entrees... The scallops come with some really tasty sauces, and the snapper dish was incredibly fresh and spring-like - perfect for early May!
Can't forget to mention the dessert - rhubarb, celery sherbet, black pepper meringue and some cake 🍰. Something different and special!
Alexander Albi
Really tasty cocktails. Well balanced and boozy. Friendly and welcoming staff. Little bit of a wait for some snacks, but the restaurant was extremely busy so it was understandable. Fantastic happy hour deals included $5 cava and oyster specials.
Janeen Daniel
We had a great dinner on Friday night. Ate lots of raw and cooked oysters, loved the snapper crudo too! (for the one non-oyster eater) We shared a bunch of stuff, all of which was awesome. Beet salad, tomato salad, fried herring (OUTSTANDING!), Scallops, pork gnocchi and red snapper. None of it dissappointed. The honey tart was also delicious. Service was good. This was our second trip here and we were more impressed this time than the last.
Vyvy Tran
When in Nashville last February, I surprised our travel companion with a birthday dinner to Henrietta Red. Cute space - drinks here are amazing and beautifully mixed, compared to what's offered on the main strip. We've been sampling through the city all day, so we opted for light bites and shared a variety of oysters.
We ordered both options of the Wood Roasted Oysters in Bagna Cauda and Green Curry, Poppy's Caviar, and Seared Sea Scallops. I believe we ordered a half dozen of Murder Point and Aunt Dotty's? For dessert, we had the Chocolate Roulade. I agree with a few other reviewers - the lemon in Poppy's is overwhelming.
Overall, service was great! Food and atmosphere was wonderful. Thanks for making our night, HR.
Daren Martin
Very chill, great selection of fresh oysters, and a very well-informed, friendly, and fun staff!
Chris J
I want to love this place, I really do. It has the makings of a 5 ⭐ experience....great ambience, great location, lots of buzz and a chef with a great story. But time and again, the food is underwhelming and the staff adds nothing to the experience. They need to step it up a notch especially for the prices they charge and the other great restaurants in the area they compete against.
Michael Gatton
Every dish we ordered was so good. Definitely try the crab dip. Some of the freshest and tastiest oysters in Nashville. The atmosphere is great for small romantic dinners or a large group. Service was impressive and recommendations were on point.
Jen J
Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. You must try the brunch here...fantastic pastries including orange sugar monkey bread, cinnamon roll with buttermilk glaze, and my absolute favorite, the saltwater caramel sailor knot, is out of this world! The farmer’s market quiche, shrimp salad with homemade saltines and crab cake are all top notch fresh savory dishes. Save room for their desserts including the ice cream sundae with balsamic cherries, almond ice cream and crunchy almond brittle. AMAZING!
Stephanie Searor
What a fun restaurant! I went with a friend, and we split everything. The caviar is fantastic, as well as the scallops. Really, everything we had was delicious. Our server was fantastic, the ambience is really nice, and we never felt like we were being rushed out, even though we sat for a while. We were able to park on the street, maybe because we went to dinner on a Sunday. Also, they had a nice happy hour. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Tina Jepson
Henrietta Red did not disappoint. The oysters were incredible, as were the cocktails. My husband and I shared the crab dip, scallops, and snapper-- and one was better than the next. The sauces for the scallops and snapper were to die for. I have no doubt that I'm going to crave summer squash curry until the day I die. Our waiter was super attentive and the atmosphere was perfect. Yes, it's pricey, but the quality is unparalleled!
Matthew Tyndall
The bacon was delicious, fries were perfect and drinks were strong. Egg was fluffy and tasty. Sausage was some of the best I’ve ever had.
Annie is a great server. Would go back just for her.
Management took special care to help my friend find a menu item that would be okay with her allergies.
Mark Lopez
Brunch was amazing. We tried both the curry and the mustard wood fired oysters and liked them both but especially the green curry ones. The breakfast sandwich was also very good as were the cocktails. If you have a sweet tooth the coffee, rum, condensed milk cocktail is very tasty.
dev isemeyer
Fantastic service n delicious food
Ginger Courtney
By far the best place for oysters. Everything is very fresh and creative. The space and service is great even when busy. They have it figured out making it my favorite Nashville restaurant.
Ngaire Honey
A great destination for seafood in Nashville. The oysters are delicious. I have gone a few times now with groups of different sizes. Brunch seems to be better for individual plates, while dinner is best approached with a shared plates approach in order to taste as much as possible. I will definitely be back.
Eric Dorman
We went here for our five-year wedding anniversary and we couldn't have been more pleased. Service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Definitely a top-three dining experience in our five years in Nashville. They knew it was our anniversary and went out of their way to make it even more special for us. The space is beautiful and full of natural light. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
Jonathan Delgado
Great oysters and an extensive wine listing. For something different, try the green curry oysters.
Alexandra Untied
had brunch with a friend - my first time in nashville! our waiter aaron was very kind and attentive. monkey bread was killer! my friend had the breakfast sandwich which she said was great. i had the quiche which was pretty good...i was not totally blown away, but the food was good, ambiance and service were great, slightly pricy place...
Benjamin Powell
Great oysters and cocktails. The grilled bread and sardine butter is not what it sounds but is amazing. The snapper dish was not the best cut of fresh fish but incredibly well put together. Best meal in a long time
Scott Taylor
Took my wife to Nashville and here for a birthday weekend getaway and dinner. Atmosphere is pretty cool, bar service was great while waiting for table. Dinner service was ok. At dinner we ordered snapper ceviche which was awesome. We also ordered the oysters which were great. Where our dinner took a turn was the main dishes. My wife had the trout which was ok. I unfortunately went with the braised lamb which was far to salty of a flavor for me. If I were to try it again I would stick with the seafood choices on the menu. Price for the overall dinner in my opinion was pretty expensive based on quantity and quality of our experience. Had a similar priced meal the night before at another highly rated Nashville restaurant and we left that dinner feeling far better about the experience.
Amanda Vogel
I have come twice now and been impressed by the peaceful and inspiring atmosphere, the beautiful and delicious dishes and friendly staff. This is our new go to for brunch. Love the iced coffee drink and mimosas! Also, hands down best cinnamon roll in the south!
Christi Kim
Great food and experience here :)
You might have to deal with some annoying tech bros who only know how to project their entire conversation to the whole restaurant, but my shrimp boil was delicious and the beer battered fish and chips were better than I've had in San Francisco.
They closed 30 minutes earlier than I thought they did (closes at 8) so we walked in 15 min before close (sorry!) but the servers were all very kind and accommodating.
David Reichstein
Such a delicious dinner... went for my wife’s birthday. Plates come to share. I had a ridiculously good drink called the cloudbuster. The shrimp and the sea bass were both amazing. The oysters were very fresh. I’d honestly good back there just to have that drink and the fish.
Derek Graff
I frequent Henrietta Red because the food and drinks are consistently great. The execution of flavors and preparation is amazing. My mom was visiting and her and I both really enjoy good food. She was blown away by every dish to the point where she felt compelled to thank the chef. Keep up the great work Julia and team.
Kevin Patel
Amazing service, high quality food, and an overall great experience. The waitress was very knowledgeable and recommended excellent dishes.
Ron
A friend recommended and we were beyond amazed and happy!!! Was sat early when we arrived, greeted like we were movie stars... Nic was prompt on asking our drink order... patient guy cuz i was not prepared... menu explained perfectly... suggestions on how to enjoy the oysters i ordered... food came in stages right on cue... cannot even describe the flavors exploding in our mouths! Definitely my favorite place!
Chris Leahy
Absolutely superb meal (one of the best in Nashville) in a beautiful space. Truly outstanding food on a level above most in this town. However, service of plates was oddly, unnecessarily, and inappropriately ill-timed (5 of 7 plates served on top of each other within 15 minutes with plate clearing before even done, then a long wait for last two), tinting the whole experience. Why can't they get this right - people have been complaining about it for a year! Seems like they just don't care now that the accolades are in hand.
Shawn Jackson
I had a great experience here. The guys at Midtown Liquors had recommended I come here if I wanted to try some different Madeira wines. I'm really glad they did because, not only did I get to try some great Madeiras, but the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. They recommended some delicious dishes, The beet salad and oyster sammy were outstanding. Highly recommended!
Lauren Leavitt
Really loving this place since they have opened. I have been for both dinner and brunch and have been very happy with everything I have ordered. Good light options with wonderful flavors. Fun drinks, they even have jello shots, although I have not tried them. Friendly staff and simple/on trend decor.
Sarah Gerhardstein
Attentive service, good food. Very loud place. Stand out was sunflower seed risotto, even better than the nice red snapper. Octopus salad is delightful. Homemade potato chips were made right, crisp not soggy with very light whipped dip.
Susan Sharpe
FANTASTIC!!! The best dining experience I have ever had. The food is phenomenal and the service outstanding. I can't wait to go back!
Blake
Go for happy hour. You can get the full menu plus specials on drinks and raw bar. A bit over priced but the food is great. Weird to think "come to Nashville, we've got great seafood" is a statement that could be made in 2018. Parking isn't great and can get loud inside, but the interior/atmosphere is fun. Staff are very nice and service was good. Would recommend at least for happy hour.
hannah pritchard
Food was great, really enjoyed the oysters and drinks. Awful display of service, would probably not return as all 5 of my attendees felt uncomfortable and unwanted. We sat inside near the bar early because it was happy hour and we had to wait for the outside to open at 5:30, was told we could go sit out there and it was first come first serve so we went out there and grabbed a table while closing our checks inside. When we got outside the hostess made us feel like complete idiots for not having gen seat us, total miscommunication but it made the rest of the evening unsettling. Our waiter did a good job but made us feel like we needed to hurry.. after ordering only oysters and an app he offered us dessert (we were planning on ordering food). We were told we'd be fine until 8:30, that there was a reservation for that table, we knew sitting around 5:30/6 we would be fine. At 7 we decided to order food and the waiter told us there was someone coming to sit there at 7:30 now... we were all so confused we just paid and left. We've never been treated that poorly by staff. Unfortunately we won't be returning nor recommending this place as no one, for age, or anything should be discriminated against. The oysters were the best part, by far some of the most amazing I've ever had, they've really done a great job with the few things we were allowed to order...

It is a very nice place however the menu had such a different type of flare. The service was amazing. So if you are daring and are up for trying and you kind of restaurant experience more so the food I would say and this is a place for you.

Dan, our server in the front room, was hands down the best server we have ever had. He was so attentive and genuinely kind. This review is mostly just to give him his credit where’s its due because we have been to Henrietta 20+ times so clearly we love the place. We always do the burger with the Parmesan fries, the Lox for brunch, the donut, the breakfast sandwich and the quiche! You can’t go wrong. Drinks are wonderful too- we brunch typically but I just really enjoy a place that’s kind to the people who are there to support local business. We love HR!
Jahan M.
Such a gosh darn delight. We went for brunch, and the experience was amazing enough that we returned for dinner. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and seemed invested in how it came out. They were very attentive and fun to talk with. The food itself was very good and very creative.
Logan Olczak
We loved the happy hour drink specials and oysters! The crab dip was also great!
James Bell
Henrietta Red? More like Henrietta......wonderful experience! The bar staff was excellent and the woman behind the bar talked about oysters as only a true lover of the delicacy can. I had a little Irish whiskey and local Pilsner, and my fiance enjoyed a chilled scallop and strawberry salad that was just tres magnifique! When I'm sitting in my living room and feeling like sliding in some Oyst, I will not hesitate to visit Ole Henrietta Red!

Fletcher made our experience memorable.
We sat at the bar and the four of us had an amazing lunch.
Phenomenal!
Kat
I came here with two friends during a girls trip to Nashville. It was AMAZING!!! We loved the oysters, scallop crudo, cassoulet, and tiramisu trifle. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town. Pro tip: our reservation was for 5:30 so we were able to take advantage of happy hour pricing of oysters for $2 and glasses of cava for $5.
Ron Ardelean
There was 4 in our party and all of us were very impressed with the dishes we ordered. And would Absolutely go back great food. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 …
Zach McQueary
Some of the best oysters I've had - and that's coming from someone who lived in Boston. Not chewy or smelly, but fresh and soft on the tongue to enjoy. The PEI/Savage Blonde was exquisite, and the lemon sauce was a perfect match.
Take advantage of their weekly happy hour and drink specials. They make a mean Old Fashioned. Be aware that only certain drinks are on the happy hour menu each day of the week. The menu is pricey, but for a special occasion (or if you're just well off enough) you couldn't ask for a better choice. Best to get a reservation ahead of time.
The atmosphere is wood and brick industrial, separated bar and restaurant via sliding barn door. Very chic with a southern comfort. Nestled in Germantown, the outdoor atmosphere is likely pretty chill (despite my visit in February). The seats leaves something to be desired, but thats small potatoes compared to the cheery disposition of the staff. A brick oven sets openly in the front kitchen, and the staff is young and genuine - gives me hope for the future of Nashville restaurants.
The food is fresh, well presented, and done in record time. This is a seafood joint, but servings sizes are moderate so the oysters are highly recommended. I also suggest the crab salad, an amazing combination of tart and savory flavors that is a great in-between while waiting for the main events. My gal and I had the red snapper and yellow grouper. The snapper had a grilled flavor, well seasoned, with a good balance of tangy and smokey (a little like chicken). The grouper was tender, juicy, and flaky..the sauce was impeccable.
Overall, a great find and well worth the penny if you want to shoot the moon for a night, Henriette Red is a top-table seafood restaurant that I'd happily return to.
Grace Collier
We went here for a friend's birthday and it was above and beyond what we expected!!! Each menu had "Happy Birthday" written across the top. Our waitress was so knowledgeable about the menu and helped us select the small plates that would please the majority of the group. There were 4 of us and we ended up ordering about 7 plates! Cannot say enough about this place!!
Douglas Bobrow
A very fresh, eclectic restaurant in Nashville for dinner. Located in a newer part of town, the restaurant has a spacious, forward-thinking atmosphere. We ordered lighter fare: oysters, vegetable toast, cucumber salad... which were all delicious. I imagine this place would be especially well-fit on evenings when there is a baseball game. I really enjoyed dinner here.
Loren Lee
Words cannot describe 🤩🤩🤩 I LOVE this place. Perfect balance of boogie and chill. Food is insane, atmosphere is *chef’s kiss*
Amber Lee
Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing service, amazing atmosphere...just amazing. While the food is definitely the star, the customer service by the staff takes this place to the next level. They will take care of you and make you feel appreciated. Perfect for date night or hanging with friends. Not the best place to take kids. Highly recommend!
James Dohm
Very eclectic, going all the way from oyster bar to standard preparations (e.g., seared duck breast w/ parsnips and fruit). Naturally, with that much range in type of food, there is also a pretty large range in quality. The root vegetables, for example, tasted more like olive oil and chilles than actual vegetables. While that in itself is not necessarily a bad thing, I think the menu and some of the dishes could use a bit more focus.
Snapper crudo and chocolate chip cookie were my highlights!
David Jungquist
Brunch is still wonderful!!! Cannot wait to com back for dinner. The community atmosphere is refreshing; service is great and prices are reasonable. This is one of the best restaurants in Nashville, dare I say Middle TN!!
Ali Price
This place is perfection. We came for brunch and everything was so good. Especially loved the mussels toast and crab dip! It reminded me of this amazing seafood restaurant B.A.R. in Stockholm.
William Emfinger
Amazing food, loved their oysters! Their happy hour has some great deals! Its not the priciest on their menu, but you have to get their gniocchi- it is the best thing on their menu! Their bread and butter is a great appetizer, and we loved their butternut pot de creme for dessert!
Brittany Brock
Great food and service. I had the trout and my boyfriend had the meatballs. We were both blown away by the presentation, service and taste. Our waiter was Lilly (on her first day!) and she killed it!
TK Kelly
Cool Vibe! Amazing Food!
Chris Barrett
This is currently the best option in town for small plate dining. One of my top 3 restaurants overall in Nashville. Maybe a pass if you just don't like seafood. Although, their cocktails are great too.
Paolo Mombelloni
Amazing oysters and fish-based courses. Cozy and upscale.
Mark L
We finagled an invite to the "soft opening" and Germantown is in for a treat. Many of the dishes were things we would never have thought to order on our own, but when we dug in, they were some of the freshest and most delicious things we have ever tasted. This is one of those places where you think something sounds good and different and then it exceeds that expectation and will be something you come back to make your friends try. Make your reservations now before this secret gets out!
Before I went here, if you asked me to try oysters, I would have said no. These were so tasty here that I will eat oysters now at the right place.
I could have eaten the basil-y broth that came with the clams all day. The caviar with yogurt was a star - so fresh and all of the flavors and plays on sweet, salty, creamy popped. The oyster fritters were so delicate and perfect, we wished there were more. I don't ever do liver and I certainly don't do pâté, but once again, through her creativity, the chef expanded our palates and I was digging into the liver pâté with the rest of the table.
The banana dessert was sooo good, with crumbly sweet granola over a moist banana bread, as was the goo goo cluster sundae and the brown goat dessert. We ended up in a good coma which we walked off.
The service and front of house was friendly, energized, and watchful to make sure we had what we needed. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable about the spirits and wine. The decor is tasteful and homey.
We heard that the chef's mom is a vegan so there were some great non-meat options like the satisfying and citrus-y cauliflower steak.
With the range of flavors, you're gonna want to order multiple dishes for the table to share.
Len Marsello
Visited from Toronto.
This place was just great on all levels.
Taro Yamazaki
One of my favorite new restaurants in Nashville. The oft-updated menu is an eclectic mix of vegetarian friendly options, fairly imaginative seafood dishes that build upon and exemplify the flavors of their core ingredients, and the everpresent option of various toasts composed from their house made bread. There is a separate, extensive raw bar menu, which should be a delight for oyster lovers, but also includes clams and other shellfish. I would recommend coming here with a friend or two (or three), and sharing several dishes. The variety of different flavors to be enjoyed here is the highlight.
Jim Worthington
As a neighborhood close by spot it is fine . For a destination spot or for an out of towner probably not.
Louie Raue
After searching for an hour for a place to eat (and encountering many snooty restaurant staff members) we happened upon Henrietta Red’s. What a joy! The staff here is delightful. And the food is wonderful too! We will definitely be back.
Alyssa Wagstaff
Every dish was amazing!! My favorite were the rabbit and the beef tartare!
Trisha Boyer
Everything about Henrietta Red is perfection. The decor, wine list, menu, service --are all top notch. With so many new restaurants cropping up at a steady clip, it's rare to go back again and again to the same spot, but this one will stay in heavy rotation. Each dish was better than the next and our server was knowledgeable, helpful and spot on with clearing plates, filling wine glasses and making recs. SO thankful to have this beautiful place in Nashville.
Chris Wilkins
One of, if not the best restaurants in Nashville. Great food and friendly service
Tyler Stewart
The BLT will make you cry.
Great staff, clever “market” model during the COVID lockdowns, and honestly top-tier food in Nashville. I’ve been to my share of Michelin rated restaurants and this place can throw down with them.
Valeria Boesch Neira
Food is AMAZING and for a reasonable price, given what you get. The service is out of this world and the restaurant is a chic, modern place. Come for brunch and get the monkey bread! You won't regret it.
Brad Homa
Must see/stop/eat/love. Talented folks from the front of the house to the back.
Anne Dixon
Phenomenal, memorable dinner. So glad we got 3 desserts to share. The balsamic chocolate and the tiramisu were stunningly delicious. Could be a great place just for dessert but dinner was superb as well.
Jay Beckwith
I love HR, great spot in Germantown for food and drink. Oysters are phenomenal, happy hour deals are worth the hassle of driving through rush hour traffic.
I've gone before Baseball or Soccer games and ended up missing most of the game because the hospitality is so comfortable.
Sidney Yules
We sat at the bar. Matt was great. Cocktails were perfect. Every dish was like a piece of art. Just took in the view before being blown away by the flavor.
Chris Bell
Second visit but would be weekly if I lived in Nashville. Everything I have had is on point and the staff is great.
ryan bowen
Amazing, you’ve got to go here! Been everywhere eaten everything fancy and this casually upscale place kills it in creative and fresh flavors. Just amazing.
Ian M
Fantastic food. A lot of really good vegiterian dishes too. Service was average. Nice atmosphere.
Skip the desert here. It sounds good and looks like a work of art, but just doesn't taste good.
Chris F
Mixing beautiful southern cuisine with fresh local ingredients. They were able to accommodate our larger party on a busier night which was extremely nice. I would highly recommend it if you are ever in the area.
Steve Robinson
Excellent food with strong supporting cocktails and wine. Great choice for brunch or dinner. Also, they are social distancing and actively cleaning/sanitizing after every customer.
Mitesh Bhalani
Great vibes and delicious food. I didn't think the cinnamon roll was that worth it but the squash toast was light and delicious. The ingredients are super fresh and high quality.
Tammy Drummond
Nice place, had the burger and honestly Burger Republic or M.L. Rose has better. Fries were average. Too pricy for what it was.
Edward Bunker
What can I say other then this place is absolutely fantastic. I am visiting from out of town and what a treat! Great oyster happy hour. I will say too much sour cream with the caviar. I love this place!!! Fantastic!!!
Lori King
Great food. Loved the crab dip. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxing as if we were at a family or friend's house
Charles Cosner
I've been here 6 times. Their oyster selection is great, as are their small plates. Probably my favorite Nashville restaurant. The received spotty reviews for service at the beginning, but my recent experience with service was spectacular.
Chris Roberts
OMG This place is awesome. Crudo, monkey bread.. You cannot go wrong here. And our server, Christina was a delight. Cya soon!
Joshua Owen
Unreal. Stopped in for oysters... awesome. Got fish & chips as a sort of safety meal... It was so good. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Beth Talebi
great atmosphere, amazing food, wonderful service. 10/10 will be back & recommending to friends!
Stefan Pinson
Great service! Our waitress was fantastic. The food was delicious. The menu is very seafood heavy (of course, it is a seafood restaurant) but there were non-seafood options.
David Garcia
It was all pretty "good," not "great." I was unimpressed by the space that seemed a bit cavernous and sparse with the lights a bit too bright. Oh, and they didn't replace the form and knife after the appetizer course (not a BIG deal but for a dinner dining experience I would expect a bit more.)
Larry Steinmetz
Amazing staff overall. Felt welcoming. Oysters were amazing, but they made my day with a Mezcal Margarita
Marion Jackson
Great service very hip ambiance will defnitely be back.
Bp Pb
Everything we ordered was indeed very good. The herring was too salty and oily for me, but that could be just me. Each plate was nicely put together.
Favorite plate for me was the veggie plate.
George Ballman
Really wonderful restaurant. Amazing variety of food, that is amazingly concocted. Big kudos to an amazing chef. Would definitely come back here again.
Joe Fernandez
I thought it was a little over-hyped to be honest. The oysters were phenomenal and the service was great, but every single entree I got (vegetable fritters, sea scallops, and pork sausage) were very mediocre and they don't charge mediocre prices. Also, the lighting was too dim and the background music sounded like it belonged in a video game.
Jeff Saunders
We had reservations at 5pm but they didn't even open the doors to let ppl in till 5.10. Food was great bit service was slow.
Valerie Blanton
Oysters on half shell are great. Beet salad was amazing!! Highly recommend! Nice variety on menu.
Adam Hardman
Stopped in for a solo meal. A nice refreshing change to the standard fare found in the city. Had a spring salad and shrimp cocktail. Well presented, well balanced and the service was good.
Kathy Zimmerman
excellent oyester, with a wide variety.
Superior service from Elena.
Red Snapper crudo was excellent, if u are lucky enough to have it available.
"Sharing" plates means kits of excellent things to try. Crab dip - was excellent and who know pea shoot salad would be so tastee
Heather J
Excellent experience, from the service to the food to the wine even the atmosphere with the open kitchen enhances tbe experience. Faborite octopus dish in Nashville. Perfectly cooked and seasoned amazingly.
Alex Knodel
Really enjoyed the COVID friendly seining at Henrietta Red! Highly recommend making a reservation and ordering the Lamb Gnocchi! That and the empanadas were delicious!
Djon Kleine
Very nice place with a great atmosphere. Good for happy hour on a Sunday afternoon.
Alicia DeArmond
Always a pleasure coming here. Everything is spectacular. The oyster selection is never disappointing and the service is has been outstanding. Chef Julia has done an amazing job here.
Mark Fortner
Had a great meal and fantastic service. Highly recommend this place. Our server was incredible.
brent jackson
This place is spectacular. We can't wait to try everything on the menu, it all looks delicious and everything we've had so far has been enjoyable and worth the price.
Don't fret, just go here and order anything you want. You will be pleased.
Michael Shane Craddock
The food was delicious and the cocktails where on point. I highly recommend.
Danielle H
We enjoyed the happy hour menu here and were not disappointed!! The oysters, the old fashioned and the fried veggies were so choice! Highly recommend!!
Beverly Kantz
Amazing food, fabulous service!
Chad Cunningham
Delicious oysters. Red Snapper--fantastic. Pork sausage dish, incredible. Great cobbler finish. Comfortable place. Highly recommend.
toshi bo
Great good fresh oysters!
Kim J
I think this is my favorite restaurant, along with Ad Hoc in Napa, in the US. Everything was sensational. Fresh and delicious. Amazing service.
Andrew M. Travis
Great oysters and the seafood toast was SO good. Personally didn’t care for the lobster salad. They send you home with a postcard!
Adrienne Fazio
Henrietta Red continues to be my all time favorite dining in Nashville. From the wait staff (shout out to Daniel), to the cocktails, to the superbly flavored food, it is just THE BEST.
Joseph
Great food and atmosphere. Cool vibe. Drink service was a little slow. I would also like to see them stock high end blended scotch.
Shawn Campbell
Culinary talent at work here. Had the Halibut, oysters, spring lettuce with wood fired bread. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend trying this great restaurant.
Amanda Gillespie
The food was so fantastic! My boyfriend was in shock because he didn't know food could taste so good!
Adam Binder
Great service and delicious food!
David Holland
The food is great. Service needs some work, but folks are very kind and accommodating. The smoked trout and the mushroom polenta are excellent.
Julie Davy
It was ok. Overpriced and stuffy. Can’t sit at the oyster bar til 530? Dennis Quaid was eating there but he’s a paying customer just like me. Didn’t like the unisex bathroom either. Probably won’t be back.
Laura Lynn
I have only gone for cocktails and dessert. This place is amazing. Everyone there is welcoming. The cocktails have been thoughtfully crafted and the desserts are pur of this world.
Eric Oldsen
What a great dinner! This place is always amazing.
Walter Nichols
Absolutely amazing experience. Food was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in or visiting Nashville. Do make your reservations. 5 Stars.
Philip Bradley
Lives up to the hype! Went for brunch and the drinks/food were on point. I’ll be back to try their dinner menu 👍 …
Ian
Exceptional experience. Can't wait to go back
Darlene Hines
The shrimp toast, with all of the beautiful flavor profiles, were declared "the best thing I've ever eaten!".Wood Roasted Summer Vegetables surprised us with the spiciness, but the ricotta bed was a nice balance. And while I'm not normally a dessert guy, we were forced to make some hard decisions - the Cherries Jubilee were divine, and the Labna Fro-Yo was a delight.
Jason Swett
Their brunch is severely underrated. Definitely one of the best in Germantown. Monkeybread, if you know what this is, it doesn't need explanation. If you don't, do yourself a favor and come and try it.
Mike Tarsa
Food was okay but overpriced. Don't have a great selection. If you want oysters it's great but beyond that it leaves a lot to be desired
Leslie Schenkel
Outstanding meal. Raw bar options were plentiful and the menu options were each complex in flavor and unique in taste. Wish we lived close by.
Ian Bishop
The oysters were great. Crab cake was amazing. The service was friendly.
Andrew McQuality
Great food and great service!
Michaela Mentasti
Just had oysters and drinks. Oysters were fresh and very yummy, atmosphere was casual and nice. Nice ambiance.

Darius Richardson
Impeccable from start to finish. Oysters were fabulous. Seared scallops were excellent Lamb loin was unparalleled. Lemon posset is essential.
Stephanie Chase
Take a chance on the menu -- the items I least expected to be blown away by were the absolute most delicious. The butternut squash toast and gnocchi were our favorites.
Kaung Htet San
Every single dish came out perfect! My taste buds were SUPER HAPPY!!
Nicholas Becker
Solid 5 stars. Every dish was very well thought out. Complex, fresh and light. Decor was awesome. Very affordable for great quality.

Definitely get the cauliflower steak!
Ron Samuels
Great Sunday Brunch and Looking forward to returning on my next Nashville visit...😎💯💞 …
Warren McCrory
Not my particular cup of tea but the drinks were good as well as the entrée & server. Only deducting a star because the portion was kinda on the small side, even after asking if it would be filling.
Thomas McKee
Food is incredible! Comfortable if not a little loud. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Can't wait to go back.
Tom Demong
One of the very best of Nashville, but relaxed decor; open, white walls, high ceilings. Probably THE best for raw oysters.
Jean Nagro
Wonderful atmosphere and the menu is incredible!!! The staff is friendly and the sous chef keeps everything running smoothly with kindness and expertise!
Teafanknee Pillow
