This was nothing short of delicious. The pizza was the best I can ever remember eating. Italian beef sandwich was great as well. Can’t wait to to try a deep dish in the near future. Also was very nice meeting the owner and talking with him while food was being prepared.

Another Chicago transplant here and this place is absolutely amazing and reminds me of my favorite Chicagoland pizza spots. The tavern style Taylor st pizza is hands down the best pizza I have had since moving here 2 years, finally a place that has giardiniera!!! I live on the other side of Nashville but the drive is well worth it and will be making it again, sooner rather than later.

I got an Italian sausage sandwich and a deep dish Chicago Supreme. Both exceeded expectations. Both were loaded with flavor and the crust on the pizza was terrific. Will be making this a regular spot.

An awesome new find near the Nations - perfect for pick-up. We tried the tavern style sausage pizza and it was phenomenal. The house made sausage was delicious and the crust was nice and crispy. We will definitely be back to try their Italian beef sandwiches and deep dish.

My wife and I with our 3 kids moved to Nashville, TN last year from Chicago, IL and up until this point we’ve been so incredibly frustrated by the pizza options in Nashville. My wife heard great things about Gio’s Chicago Pizza through a local Facebook group. Long story short this pizza is exactly what we’ve been looking for!! Incredibly delicious and brought us right back home to Chicago if only for a couple of hours. The experience was awesome too. A friendly mom and pop group who are from Chicago and who thanks every customer that walks through the door tor their business. We got both the deep dish and the thin crust and I’ll already looking forward to returning next weekend! If you understand what really good pizza is then you need to give them a try.

Tried a deep dish pizza with Giardiniera and sausage. It tasted amazing and was super filling. The team is very friendly and it was nice to be able to talk with the owner!

This is the best pizza in Nashville!! Chicago area native living here for 4 years and have not found any “real” pizza until now. Tried the tavern sausage and it was phenomenal. I will definitely be back. Might have to make this a weekly pizza stop!

Wow! Absolutely the best pizza in Nashville. We got the Chicago style and Tavern pie, both excellent in every way. Also ordered an Italian Beef and was blown away. Friendly and great service too!!!

Since moving to Nashville from Illinois 4 years ago I've been seriously disappointed in the pizza scene. I ordered Gio's tonight on a whim, and I will NEVER order from anywhere else again. The Tavern Pepperoni is the perfect blend of chewy crispy crust, gooey cheese and a little bit of heat from the sauce and pepperoni. Seriously, this is the best pizza in Nashville.

What a hidden gem! We are from the far west Chicago suburbs and have searched almost every pizza establishment to find a Chicago style thin crust pizza reminiscent of home, but not one even came close….up until Gio’s. One bite and I knew we had finally found it. We ordered the Tavern Style Pizza. Love the crust!!! Next time I may ask for a little more sauce, but the flavor was spot on! We even got to be the first people to add our home town of Batavia to the map. Such friendly owners and cook. Thanks for making our day!! If you are looking for a true thin crust Chicago style pizza, Gio’s is a must!!

Unfortunately, I was excited about it but the hair in the pizza killed it for me :( My husband didn’t like that the bottom of the (crust) meat pizza was soggy. I liked the cheese. * called and they are going to refund the pizza* the guy was super nice about it! Bonus points for having great customer service!

Beef and deep dish were good, but the tavern style pizza was maybe the best I have ever had. Grew up in Chicago and it beats any I had there. Will be back.

A little hard to find the entrance, but the vibe inside is so cool. No frills, you walk right into the kitchen through the door. This isnt a night out, fine dining type spot, this is where you go to get damn good pizza. Super friendly staff that is about their business, and i respect that to the fullest. Definitely coming back. Absolute fire. Looking forward to trying other dishes.

My family and I loved the deep dish pizza but when it came to the tavern style it just feel flat. Unfortunately the crust, on the tavern style, was burnt and made it taste bitter. The staff there was really friendly and very kind but just was disappointed with there tavern style pizza.

Had Gio’s tavern style tonight and it was like a taste of home- best Chicago style thin crust pizza I’ve had in Nashville. Not hard to find the building, but once you’re there you enter through the back into a kitchen/prep room and Gio’s was toward the back, there’s no store front. Will be returning for many more pies in the future!

WOW!! True Chicago pizza from a Chicago native! So unbelievably good I almost tear up as it reminds me of home. The owner Greg and all of his staff are the coolest and so friendly. This will be my go to pizza place every Friday night. I hope one day they open a restaurant!

I grew up in the Chicagoland area and have lived in Nashville for 5 years now. This is the closest pizza you will find that compares to the delicious Chicago thin crust you’ll find there. We got the 16’ tavern style sausage, well done with green pepper and onion. Excellent pie, cut in squares like it should be. This will be my new go-to spot for pizza

Closest to home you'll find. They have something good brewing here... Hope to see a location closer to me at some point and i'd order every weekend like the good ole days back home as a kid. Chef is good guy -- fixed an order for us no questions asked and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Wish the best to these guys because this city desperately needs spots like this one.

Found this place through the Hip Bellevue Facebook group and we were excited to try it! Everything was great from the start! Called in about 5:15ish and it was ready around 5:50, and it is a Friday. Customer service was great over the phone, accurate time estimation, great service at pick up. We ordered the Cicero tavern style. Very filling pizza. This is an excellent addition to the West side restaurants!!Welcome to town, Gio’s! We’ll be back.

As a born and raised South Sider (Bridgeport & Vittum Park), I was excited to try this pie. And to be clear, I don’t dabble in Giordano’s or Lou Malnati’s. Im all about the mom n pop places, nothing gets better. My fiancé and I ordered the large supreme extra cheese and a large just cheese, extra cheese pizzas. The ingredients on the supreme were of quality, however, the interior piece of the pie was completely soggy. I’ve never had a pie this soggy where I literally could only eat the edges and throw the rest out. The cheese pizza was okay, the crust was not my favorite from this joint. And the edges were a little dried out, but that’s subjective and I’m comparing mom n pop places back in Chi-city. I think the owner was out of town that day or week so that may have been it. The reason for three stars is because of the sogginess so I had to dump money in the trash. Also, if you’re in Chi, you know it’s true authenticity when you grab a pie to go from a place and it’s on cardboard wrapped in paper outlining Italy as a graphic.

I had a craving for Chicago style pizza last week. I ordered a deep dish cheese pizza last Friday night. It was delicious! The 2 person staff was extremely nice. I love supporting small businesses. I will definitely order again!
