Solid value dogs with all the fixings.
Confirmed open 11/9/22 (moved locations towards bottom of escalator now)

Always good food at Walkin’ Dog. Today had one of my favorites chili dogs and a shake. Chocolate Caramel. Tasty lunch. Always enjoy visiting when I’m downtown.

Great value lunch spot. You can get two hot dogs for $6-7, or two hot dogs and a shake/malt for less than $10. Try the Chicago-style and the chili-cheese to get all the flavors!

Really great dogs, very much like what you'd find in Chicago. Also a great value in you can still get a lunch in Downtown for around $5 - which isn't easy to find. They also have lunch specials and several different kinds of dog toppings. Old school, solid, and reasonably priced. Kind of tucked away so it won't jump out at you. but it's worth the quest!

Quiet Isola place, extremely cheap prices but the food does hit the spot just right. Pretty satisfying for a quick snack

You're not going to get a hot dog cheaper unless you bring it from home. Service is slowish due to only one person working the counter but he works fast.

Awesome Chicago dogs. Chili dogs are amazing too.

I LOVE this little joint. The food is very enjoyable (and so are the shakes). The owner is an honest, genuine gentleman with interesting stories and a real devotion to customer satisfaction. I patronize frequently and recommend it to everyone I know who works, lives, or visits downtown.

This place rips. Had a shot of whiskey before the wiener. Amazing top to bottom!

This restaurant is a rare gem. Most downtown restaurants are all about trends, and leafy greens and ethnic infusions. All of which are fine and dandy. But walkin' Dog is all about classic hot dogs and polish sausages. They have root beer and milk shakes. And they are open for business in this pandemic. So if your downtown and want a simple meal, you should stop here. I rarely give out 5 stars. But they deserved it hands down for reaming classic and delicious. The owner is always super friendly and fast.
Thanks hot dog man.
