As soon as you enter this cafe, you experience the positive vibes from employees as well as the space that is well decorated. Our waitress was attentive and we got our nice and hot breakfast relatively quickly. I had the cajun breakfast and wow, it was a treat! I’d highly recommend it to anyone. My partner had one of the breakfast combos and really enjoyed it as well. Portions are big so well worth the money. I’ll definitely come back to this place!

This place is awesome!!! Food is to die for and the fresh squeezed orange juice is out of this world good!! The Tex Mex I would highly recommend along with the Fireman’s Special!!!! Everything is made to order so you can’t go wrong with anything you order. I highly recommend!!!!

This place was great. The manager is very friendly and customer service was top notch! Food was excellent with good portions and enough to go in a box for two meals. Highly recommend for breakfast and Lunch! Restaurant is new and clean!

While looking for a breakfast place in the Cities we found this place. It was quiet and we were seated immediately. The Husband decided to get 2 of the Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes, which was gigantic. I was not that hungry and went with the #2 Combo, my only issue was my food was not very warm when it arrived. But otherwise was fine. Our order was taken fast and then it took a little bit long to get the food. But it was a small staff, so we completely understood and weren't in too much of a hurry. All and all it was a good breakfast place.

Amazing Benedict choices. Apple Streusel pancakes over the Pineapple Upside down however are both worth a try.

A genuine classic of the Uptown area. This location is a smaller version of their restaurant further north on Hennepin. The food remains great and yes, the portions van easily be shared. Great ambiance given the lighting and huge Hennepin Avenue window. Great service and the kitchen staff puts out consistently awesome comfort food. Do yourself a favor and stop in as you will not be disappointed. Bring your kids as they will love the pancakes...and I suggest they share. We Uptown folks have experienced quite a bit of negative during the prior 2 years and this is one example of celebrating the return of the vibrancy of Uptown. Enjoy!!

Awesome food, delicious coffee, great staff and stellar management. It’s a fabulous (and very clean) space; the tall ceilings are perfect, make It feel so spacious. The morning sun pouring in thru the windows was super inviting. What a great and welcomed addition to Uptown! Hopefully more local businesses will follow. Two thumbs up!! The fireman’s breakfast was deeeelish. I’ll definitely be back!

Love this place. A group of us go weekly and the service is friendly and fun and the food is always delicious. The avocado toast review is wonky because I get it every time and it's great. The fruit is fresh and rotates. The ingredients are quality. Please try this spot out!

What a great atmosphere! The food here was very good and made even better thanks to the amazing staff of diverse and kind servers. Immediately upon walking into the restaurant I felt welcomed and cozy. Will be back!:)

Nice place, super friendly service, great food. My meal was on the pricey side only because I ordered a lot of food - for your more standard breakfast it's probably in the $10 to $15 range. Will be going back!

Ordered the cajun eggs Benedict and was very pleased. The cajun was a fun twist on it i havent had before, but really liked. The hashbrowns were very fire, and our server was a real nice bloke. Just a bit overpriced id say.

Wow! This place has so much to love! First off, the fresh squeezed orange juice is incredible! The space is cozy, vibrant, and welcoming. The portions of the food are far more than what I had expected, but better yet, the quality was fantastic. If you're hungry for something extremely tasty, definitely check this place out. You won't regret it! A new stop for each time I visit Minneapolis!

This is everything I wanted an uptown cafe to be! From the local art on the walls to the fresh baked muffins and hand squeezed orange juice, these surprisingly heartwarming details are sure to make The New Uptown Cafe a new uptown favorite. We were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. Our order was taken quickly, and every staff member was friendly. Do not skip the hashbrowns! The orange juice was perfect, my eggs were just right, and the pancakes were HUGE! This is my new breakfast spot!

The kid loved the waffles. The bison chili was boldly seasoned and meaty. The cowboy breakfast was fantastic and one of the few times I've had leftovers.

The staff is excellent and the food is good..but there is no justification for an omelette with a side of hashbrowns (and no beverage) to cost $30 before tip.

Whenever we get a chance to visit Minneapolis, breakfast at Uptown Diner was always a must on our to-do list. The crew at The New Uptown Cafe has taken that experience to a whole new level. Tommy leads a great staff, the portions are huge, and the menu has some truly original spins on diner favorites (like the Fireman’s Breakfast, wow!). Incredibly reasonable prices, especially for the quality. We can’t wait to come back!

Walking in seeing a cozy inviting environment with bright colors was a great start. We were greated right away and sat in a spacious booth. Our server was so FRIENDLY and comfortable to talk to i will return even to see him again. The food had portions of hashbrowns that were as big as both my hands! I could've shared my order with 2 of us. So i will give this cute and fun experience 2 thumbs up!
