Interactive Multimedia Information Dissemination

The miso soup I ordered was so good and so nourishing I had to ask how it was made. I’ve been back twice since then for more and struggled for years to reproduce the experience at home. Frankly, I don’t think it can be done. It must have something to do with the atmosphere. Don’t overlook this great spot for a healthy break from the daily routine.

Walked into the cove for the first time today having absolutely no idea what it was. I ended up going with a rice bowl after talking to Mariah an employee who was extremely helpful. 10/10 would recommend

This place is incredible! Every time I have it, the food is top-tier. The pork belly is sooooo good! And they always deliver earlier than scheduled with Foodsby, we never have to wait!

Mediocre poke bowl, slightly better rice bowls. The pork belly poutine was good and filling though. I’d recommend that. Location close to campus, can’t beat that. The few times I’ve been there, the staff has always been super chill and friendly.

I don't get to campus often, but when I do i make sure I take advantage of eating here at The Cove. Decently priced options for a meal that is freshly prepared. I always find a friendly and helpful staff as well as a simple and clean atmosphere. This time I wanted to try the steamed buns (ordered three kinds: pork belly, char siu, and pulled pork). I miss my time in Quebec so I was intrigued by the poutine so I ordered that as well. And of course, I couldn't come here without ordering a poké bowl with all my chosen fixings. I washed it all down with a La Croix and a draft latte to go. I am 100% satisfied. Yeah, I skipped lunch today so I'ma treat m'self. (I couldn't eat it all so I packed it up to go.)

Clean and contemporary look with a friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door. The most flavorful poke bowls by far. A fresh and savory way to enjoy a delicious meal. Love this place ❤

Very flavorful and delicious poke bowl and rice bowl. I would suggest double checking all requests before sending it out. A few times I was missing ingredients in my bowl or received something else that I didn't request for.

I faced some contreoverary feeling here and I will now try to explain what made me take both stars down. So as to the poke bowl, despite all the ingredients were fresh and nicely stored, the finished dish did not taste as it was completed. Now hear me out, its really hard to explain, but I was able to taste every other ingredient of the bowl itself, but something that has to merge them all down was missing; altough tuna and salmon have been pre-mixed in a spicy mayo sauce separately before serving (look at the picture). I think this needs a little work or some afterthought to combine them better... Now, one more much simpler problem, Miso soup was room temperature. Normally, in Japanese restaurants they serve it right out of hell, crazy hot. Warm would've still done it, but it was cold, I mean it. Service was just okay. The lady who served us was talking to someone she knows while taking the order, there was no feeling like we were much appreciated for coming... I would say 4/10 for personnel. Overall it's just "okay". If I was working nearby, I probably won't go here too often, however, if there was nothing else opened nearby, I probably would. That's 3 solid stars.
