Reviews of Red Rabbit Minneapolis
Jerica George
We’re meeting friends for a birthday dinner and we got there before happy hour ends (5pm) and we tried the fried ravioli and the margarita pizza. Both were great by the true star was the ravioli. I could have eaten 10 of those. The sauce underneath… amazing. It’s only available on the happy hour menu. The service was great and very accommodating of our big party and us bringing in our own cake. Highly recommended checking them out!

Red Rabbit was pretty awesome! The location is fun and the atmosphere is relaxing. Every item we ate was delicious...from appetizers to desserts. It was perfect for the chilly, rainy day outside. I will definitely go back and it is worth the trip if you've never been.

Got the vegan pizza. Was very delicious. Good atmosphere. Great wine and beer selections. Giving it a 4 star due to the 3.9% mandate compliance surcharge. Maybe if it was 2020/2021 but CDC mandates have been lifted for a while and none of the other restaurants we went to while in town did this. Understandable but blind sided.

We finally decided to give this place a go! Came in for a late lunch. I can describe the menu as somehow progressive Italian and having lived in Italy for a while I can say that it is one of the best I have had in Minneapolis. The service is very warm, friendly and efficient. The bar is very well stocked with tons of choices. They even have Genever which is very hard to find.
Michael Karegeannes
Had a fabulous brunch with my wife and 2 of our children. highly recommend. great food very attentive service, hard to find both these qualities in a restaurant these days post covid.

Great food and drinks. Loved the service too. The staff is very friendly and ready to give you the best suggestions. Also they have a lot of options from the brewery. For all kind of beer lovers. You will definitely enjoy this place.

Came here during dinner. One of the best Minneapolis restaurants. Such delicious food and fresh produce. Ordered the wood grill wings, wood roasted olives, CAVATELLI, and mushroom pizza. The wings were amazing. I would come here and order 3x the wings. So fresh and full of herbs. Not greasy at all. Plus their cavatelli pasta is one of the best pasta. In addition, their mushroom pizza is great! I would definitely come back here again. I would recommend joining the wait-list online since the line can get long. Start your reservation online before coming here. It's popular and busy.

I love coming to red rabbit! The food is good, the ambience is good, and the waitstaff is friendly. The garlic bread cheese curds are a particular fave. They also offer gluten free options for menu of their menu items!

The servers were good, the food came quick, and everything was delicious.
The vegan pizza though, is otherworldly. The flavors were explosive and the crust was perfect.
It ranks high in my favorite pizzas, vegan or not

Excellent pizza and great cocktails. Friendly service and solid atmosphere. Skip the pasta and leave room for dessert instead. See our full review on Instagram @lets.try.that

I am so happy I decided to visit red rabbit. Our server was very helpful and attentive. I had a wonderful non alcoholic lavender drink, my brother had a martini which was very unique and I think he really liked it.
The vegan pizza was so tasty and flavorful. I came hungry so I ended up ordering the impossible pasta— which unsurprisingly was also delicious. I would definitely visit again and even though it was pretty busy when we went, the food didn’t take too long.
If you haven’t been to the red rabbit before, you are sure in for a treat!!

This place and the service was absolutely amazing. Traffic and work made us arrive a bit later than we intended before a show and we're worried we'd just have to eat after, but we were seated nearly immediately on a Friday night though the seating was pretty full. Server was extremely prompt, personable, and friendly and we were able to get orders in and get out to still make it to the show by door open. The food was absolutely lovely, we each got a different pasta and they were very flavorful. Will definitely be coming back.

Sat at the bar. Great service from super friendly staff.
Started with a dozen fresh oysters. They were delicious. House condiments were really tasty.
Then, on a whim, I had the chef’s creation pizza. Not entirely sure what was all on it (broccolini, artichoke hearts, etc), but this veggie pizza was probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. Crust was incredible: chewy & crispy. Toppings were a perfectly balanced mix of savoury, sweet and salty. Just… wow.
Highly recommend

This place is Great. The atmosphere is inviting and warm. There are many different lighting peices. Service was fast, our waiter Scott was friendly and gave great service. Food was exceptional.

One of the best lunches Ive had in a long time. The 2 bartenders were great, made really good cocktail, had fantastic recommendations on the appetizers. The wings were some of the best ive ever had, simple so that the quality ingredients shined and not some lame hot sauce. The pizza was really good as well, i had the Spicy Salami, everything was really good and the honey on it sent it to the next level
Daniel Ammermann
Service was amazing, everything was reasonably priced and the food was cooked perfectly. Staff was so nice to us and the atmosphere was perfect for a night out. 5 stars

Came in with a friend to grab some dinner because the pictures online looked amazing. We ordered the minestrone and garlic bread for appetizers and the mostaccioli and fettuccine alfredo for dinner. The minestrone was a little salty and the pasta in it did not taste fully cooked. The garlic bread was amazing and the sauce that came with it was heavenly. However the mains were both quite disappointing. The fettuccine did not have enough alfredo sauce and was dry and the mostaccioli was quite flavorless and arrived lukewarm meaning it got cold really fast.

Live close by and eaten here several times. The wood fired oysters are amazing as well as the brunch items. My one complaint is being served a Diet Coke out of a tacky plastic cup. Come on be a little more classy for those of us that don’t drink alcohol and want to be treated like an adult.
Paul Sip
Very good place would recommend it! I got the shrimp garganelli here it was really good a little bit spicier than I liked but really good The service was very good and came by my table multiple times to check on everything. They have a booths tables or the bar.
Kate Peragine
Exceptional salad, pizza, pasta, bar drinks AND dessert. Our server Brandon was a standout with his friendly, helpful and knowledgeable service - he even lit our table candle the exact moment the sun dropped behind the building! That’s stellar table service. Tonight there were date night couples, families and groups of friends of all ages dining along side our family. If we lived closer, Red Rabbit would definitely be in our heavy rotation.

Nice place with great Italian food. Went here with friends..enjoyed all good. Didn't like the dry January drinks though..😃
Melanie Summers
Great food and looks of thought with flavors and textures. The cheese curds and sticky cake were great! The mocciato... or something pasta was super too!
Ashley Youngs
Loved the little touches throughout the meal, from the chilled martini bottles to the slivers of lemon peel on the meatballs. It was a nice way to elevate a dining experience.
Matt Burnette
I came here from a recommendation from the hotel staff and this place did not disappoint. I ordered a glass of super Tuscan wine and a spicy salami pizza (not picture because I was famished and devoured this thing) and both were excellent. It was extremely busy when I went so I sat at the bar and the service was decent, a little slow but the place seemed to be short staffed and I wasn’t in a rush. If I find myself back in the Twin Cities I will definitely be back.
Kathryn C
Got the wood-grilled oysters, chicken alfredo pizza (if you love shallots then you're in for a treat!), but the star of the show was by far the toffee cake dessert. It had everything! Crunchy, moist, sweet, a little tart to balance. Just go for the cake, the pizza and pasta are just good additions.
Service was excellent despite the busy night. We will definitely be back again.
Red Spyda
I really felt like experimenting on a new dish.
& I really enjoyed the food experience. Very friendly service & comfort food

We decided to try a new place tonight and let me tell you we were not disappointed. We ordered the P B & J which is pineapple, bacon, and jalapenos, Margarita, chicken Alfredo, and a cheese.
First let me say the service was stellar. The waiter was very attentive, polite, and knew the menu. We also had the manager stopped by the table and asked us how everything was and she was great too.
The pizza was top notch, the ingredients were fresh and the pizza was cooked in a wood oven to perfection.
I don't know if I have gave an establishment around here a 5 out of 5, but this one gets exactly that. I will gladly return again.
Michael Kollar
This place has a super nice environment. The staff is very welcoming and Friendly. The service is fast and food is amazing.
Evan Thomas
Phenomenal food and atmosphere. Shrimp pasta dish is great and mostaccioli is a new dish I really liked. Lasagna and fettuccine are also really good too. Can’t go wrong here

Oh my goodness...DELICIOUS!! I am in town from California and I Googled popular restaurants in Minneapolis and this was a top pick.
I literally wanted to eat everything in the menu. Started with my favorite wine, a Malbec. Then I took some recommendations from our server Jasmine and I couldn't have been happier!
I chose with the burrata appetizer while my friends had the Wood Grilled Oysters (not for me, since I'm allergic). Both had amazing flavor (I'll take their word for it on the oysters 😉).
For my main entrée, I had the Mostacciolo with goat cheese and marina sauce... YUM 😋.
And of course I had to have dessert... it's my favorite meal of the day! I tried the Chocolate Mousse Torte... because you can never go wrong with chocolate! It was served with vanilla bean ice cream, which was topped with olive oil and a touch of salt... TO DIE FOR!!
Overall, a great atmosphere. We could feel it as soon as we entered the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly. I'd go back if I have more time... but, we gotta try other places too, ya know??
You won't regret trying this place out!!
Jerry Chapman
First time here and it won't be our last. I had the chicken parm and my wife had the shrimp garganelli. Both were out of this world fantastic. The wait staff was friendly and always on the go, I can't say enough about the food or service. Top notch 👌. The atmosphere was very fun, trendy yet classic mix. The vibe was very upbeat and enjoyable. This is a must for Italian in Minneapolis and we look forward to our return.
Rita Morris
edit: they reached out to me and did everything they could to make it right—great customer service. Bumping from 2 stars to 4 stars.
Ordered catering from this location. With tax it was nearly $90 for one small pan of pasta (mostaccioli). Came with very little sauce on it and was extremely dry. Very disappointing for such an expensive dish, probably won’t be back :(

WOW! Great service… wonderful food! Visits from out of town…was recommended this after asking about to a local…so glad they said it would be an enjoyable dining experience; yes, it sure was!! Everything we all had was so good…highly recommend the Black Cauliflower soup to get things started…lasagna was to die for…as well as the spaghetti with meat balls. Don’t forget dessert, The Benoits…don’t not order these. Pricing is good for what you get as well.

Me and my family visited Red Rabbit for out first meal in a restaurant after the pandemic and after we all got vaccinated. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! The staff was wonderful, our server (I didn't catch his name, I'm so sorry!) was so friendly, and his energy really made the experience so much more fun. The food was AMAZING. The charcuterie board was perfectly put together, all of the flavors complimented each other so well. The beignets were heaven and we all loved each of our entrees. Honestly I don't think there's a bad menu item in the whole place. We sat on the patio which was surprisingly comfortable! Anyway, I would highly reccomend this place. It's a nice treat after eating your own cooking or takeout for like a year and a half. :D

I have been to this place and I loved it both times! The vibe is wonderfully casual, laid-back and relaxed while staff are very professional and serve amazing food & beverages! The menu reads like a dream and I think it has stuff for every taste. The last time I went I had the cauliflower soup with black garlic (first time I saw that on a menu!) and then roasted veggies. Both tasted so good! The drink I had was so tasty, too (vermouth & tonic). I love this place and can't wait to be back!

Definitely would return! The environment was extremely comforting and welcoming! The server was extremely attentive and funny. For appetizers my boyfriend and I ordered the pizza rolls out of curiosity and they were delicious !!! I was not expecting them to be as good as they were. For the main course we both ordered pasta. I really enjoy my pasta, it was hot and the food was not over powering. The drinks were extremely good too! I loved the cocktails they had available. My only con would be the seating, I was seated at a high chair table that was also a booth on the other side. I felt the table was sooo far away from the booth that it made eating kind of awkward. I would have to sit on the edge of the booth chair just to be able to avoid having to lean over. Not a huge deal but it definitely made it a little uncomfortable.

Fantastic food and great service. This area doesn't look the best, but this place is a gem!
The cauliflower and black butter soup was incredible. Even my California-raised GF loved it - and she's had lots of healthy inspired food choices.
Highly recommend and will return on a future visit!

The cavatelli is one of my favorite dishes of theirs. It is always a great option and never fails to disappoint. The service on the other hand during this visit was maybe a bit slower than usual and our waiter was a bit quirky but all around a good experience nonetheless. Definitely a good staple spot for some elevated comfort food.

Great casual spot. Great good for that casual night out. The spacious bar is my first choice for ambience. Service is hit and miss, usually great. Depends who you get. Some can be distracted but the other staff kind of take up the slack. Reasonable wine prices
Allison Low
We went here for brunch before a Vikings game. They have their own homemade Bloody Mary mix-which is awesome! Great way to start a Vikings game day! We had the burrito and tacos. Both of which were amazing! We cannot wait to go back!

Our experience at Red Rabbit was phenomenal! The food was delicious and the ingredients were sooo fresh.
Chef Gene brought our food to our table and was extremely humble and hospitable. We shared a few laughs and he explained our dishes in great detail. It really made our time there feel like a true 10/10 experience.
If you’re thinking about going, just do it. I promise you won’t be the slightest disappointed!
Donte Williams
One of my new favorite places, the food is something special and the grilled Oysters are amazing!

Visiting town for work a few weeks ago and happened to drive by this place one evening. The catchy name and look of the place made me want to give it a try for dinner while in town. My co-worker and I went there for dinner the next night – so glad we did! You know something is good when weeks later, you still can’t stop thinking about it! Everything was truly amazing - drinks, food and service! The best part of our experience was our server, Brandon! He was so authentically warm, charming, funny, and really knew his menu! He really cared about our experience – or maybe the menu is just that good and we couldn’t have gone wrong? We ordered the meatballs for an appetizer – super delicious. We couldn’t resist ordering a Spicy Salami Pizza (with his blessing) for the table, my co-worker had the Cavatelli and I had a dish that Brandon recommended - it was Mostaccioli dish made with a twist from the one listed on the menu – super yummy! I can’t stop thinking about this place, the food and Brandon! Thanks for the great dinner experience!
Cory Chenevert
The Cauliflower & Cavatelli were phenomenal. Old Fashioned was very good. Sticky Toffee Cake was good. Service was excellent. The manager stopped by our table to check in which was a nice touch. Very dark dining room...which is plus/minus.
Sahar Confeld
Cons: I really don’t like that they don’t give you a printed receipt. They come around with small devices and you pay with the server there. By the end of it, I have no idea how much I spent. There’s a social pressure to not ask for receipts. It feels like a deceitful practice, especially with the new wellness tax and paying gratuity on the tax instead of the total.
Pros: great service - from management coming around asking how everything is. It has a cool ambiance. Food is good.
Cheese board was amazing, garlic cheese curds and the sticky coffee cake are all worth ordering.
Jake Forschen
Great food! We tried the pizza rolls and garlic cheese curds for appetizers and both were delicious! Our entrees we got the mostaccioli with a meatball and chicken Alfredo pizza. Everything was wonderful and the service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back.
Asia Enger
Red Rabbit has such a great atmosphere. Love coming here for delicious drinks on Saturday nights with my friends. All of the bartenders we've had were amazing and so fun. The BLT chicken sandwich is the best!
Elliott Rado
Really enjoyed this place. We had great service and the food was excellent. We got the cheese curd appetizer and a few pizzas and loved every bite. It was a little loud but didn’t hurt the atmosphere too much.
Mike Kennedy
Over the course of three days in Minneapolis I ate at multiple local downtown restaurants, one disappointment after another as I sampled the local bland and boring cuisine. One my final day, hung over from the night before, I decided one final attempt to find something worth eating in this town.
Red Rabbit brought it.
First I ordered the Paloma cocktail. Super tasty, but my hung over-ness rejected it outright and I didn’t finish it.
Got the Arugula salad, which was f*cking amazing! Just a few simple ingredients - olive oil, lemon juice, Parmesan, and arugula - was the perfect combination together. The flavor was bright and fresh and the portion was huge. But I could have easily eaten two of these and been totally fine.
I got the House Sausage pizza, which had a decent amount of (but not too much) cheese and toppings, all with really good flavor and intensity. A definite win.
If you’re in town and finding yourself getting super disappointed with every restaurant you try, give this one a shot. It will not disappoint.
Phil B
It's always a great experience to get oysters. They have three varieties and some great dipping sauces! Great pizzas and pastas and I good wine selection.
Sarah
Had a nice time here. Felt the holiday spirit. The vegan pizza and burrata is also good!
Evan Andrew
We had a great time at the red rabbit. It was all decorated for the holidays. The food was pretty good. We loved the pizza but the goat cheese pasta wasn't what we thought. Also, we got the chai latte drink and it was almost chunky and had things you had to chew basically. I'll go back but I'm hesitant on the drinks now.
Luther Cross
I've never had beet spaghetti before, but MAN it was delicious! I had real ricotta and chicken on top, which rounded it out. I could eat that every day! The drinks were quite good, as was dessert. Service was fabulous!
Bay Wilkinson
Everything we ordered was exceptional. Our server, Ebenezer, guided us through a coursed out brunch. I highly recommend the fresh burrata. We chose a few sides that were bright and fresh with simple, high quality ingredients. The scratch made cavatelli pasta soaked up the delicious juices from the fennel sausage and was superb.
We were greeted and attended to by multiple Red Rabbit team members throughout our brunch. It's obvious they have a close-knit, well run team.
Wonderful experience!

Delicious pizza, great drinks, and good service alone make this a great place to grab a bite to eat. There's also a lovely back patio, and a real sense of welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community. Definitely going to be recommending this place to friends and coming back myself!
JT Shupe
Party of six enjoyed an early dinner. Some had drinks, we shared appetizers and each had a meal. Everyone really enjoyed the food. The cheese curd appetizer was great. Food cooked and flavored superbly. We will definitely go back!
Austin Wayne
Our group had a lovely dinner at Red Rabbit. We were seated promptly on the patio and enjoyed everything about the experience including fast, friendly service. The oysters and chicken parmesan were both excellent. The patio was quiet which was great for making conversation on our last night in Minneapolis.
Leah Peterson
I would have to say the Red Rabbit in St. Paul had better food. My food was very dry. I got the Fettuccine Alfredo with Salmon and the beignets. My salmon was overcooked and very dry. There was barely any sauce with the Alfredo as well. The flavors were still there though which was good.
Rhonda Thomas
The service was great as well as the food and drinks. Great spot.
Petra Froetschel
The local Aquavit was anise-y - delicious!!👍👍
Also liked the Super Tuscan👍👍
The Beet Spaghetti was very good...very beety, very unusual, earthy, beautifully pink... can definitely recommend it and I would order it again.
Our server was very knowledgeable, he knows his dishes, and very engaging.
I really liked this place 👍👍
Joseph Piccirelli
We stopped in here before a show at Union, the food was very good and the service friendly. Nothing life-changing but a great casual spot for a date, friends, or fam.
Juili Shivde
Such a fun, vibrant place. The outdoor patio was amazing. Ordered the impossible bolognese pasta and sticky toffee cake. They were SOOO good. Thank you to our server Scott for the amazing recommendations! :)

$16.50 Shrimp Garganelli
• white wine, fresno chili, basil, almond crumble, parmesan ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wasn’t too keen on this dish. It’s a little bland, but the shrimp is fresh & the pasta is cooked very well. Not too many flavors going on in this one. Service at the Red Rabbit however, is wonderful. Max paid lots of attention to water levels & gave great suggestions throughout dinner. I dig the ambiance ya the Red Rabbit too. Not too fond of it being next door to Sex World & an exotic dance place, but what can ya do right?
$11.00 Mostaciolli • award-winning Red Rabbit marinara, goat cheese fondue, parmesan, bread crumbs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ mix a dollop of goat cheese in there & you’ve got a winner for sure. The salty creaminess adds a wonderful pop of something, pizazz to the dish. Normally I’m not a red sauce kinda person, but this was a flavorful, subtly salty & sweet & creamy dish. I took the shrimp from the garganelli & added it to this dish & it was perfecto. Pasta cooked perfectly, perfect amount of sauce & Parmesan 👌🏼 definitely recommend
$12 Pizza Rolls • pepperoni, cheese & red sauce ⭐️⭐️⭐️ eh, nothing special. Glorified Tostitos in my opinion. Worth $12 for the concept? No. Flavors, they’re alright. Nothing short of a regular pizza
$17 Wood Grilled Oysters 🦪 fresh herbs, butter, garlic & Parmesan ⭐️⭐️⭐️ three stars for the quality & quantity. I know oysters are expensive, but these things were tiny! Teeny tiny shriveled up pinches of something. Didn’t even taste like oysters. Just slurped up a shell full of garlic butter. Presentation is pretty though
Jeri Frank
Super delicious! Had a great dinner out in the picnic area and the food, drinks and service were all great and the prices were extremely reasonable. If you are nearby, check it out!
Michael Smith
Amazing food, superior service.
1300, Friday, Jan 2021. We didn't have a reservation but they were more than happy to sit us. The service was amazing. The hostess, Melania, and the sever, Nina, were both super friendly, attentive, and knowledgable about the menu.
Before I comment on the food I just want to mention we lived in Italy for 4 years and are *very* picky when it comes to Italian cuisine. Red Rabbit does not disappoint.
The food was fantastic. We shared a homemade pizza roll appetizer with their signature marinara sauce and split a main dish of Cavatelli. They make their Italian sausage and pasta in house and the garlic butter sauce was bold and amazing.
My highest reccomendation.
Katrina DeWit
After a hiccup with who our server was, Rebecca promptly ensured we got our Bloody Mary’s, breakfast burrito, and berry French toast. Everything was delicious and the complimentary donut hole starter was warm and fluffy. Especially liked the burrito with its variety of delicious fillings and the smooth crema and salsas toppings it.
Maya Whalen
This place is amazing! Love the vibe and we ordered the garlic bread cheese curds and they are the best cheese curds we have ever had! Overall amazing restaurant and would definitely recommend!!
Jesse C
Really awesome experience! The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and were really engaged with us and stopped by often. Covid-19 seating and spacing was nice and we felt at ease on their outdoor patio. Great food and drink recommendations from the servers. The food came promptly and was delicious. I had the hot salami pizza and it was perfect! It came out hot, zesty flavorful sauce, just the right amount of cheese, and crispy crust made the perfect balance. The host/manager also checked on us a couple times to ensure we were ok. Overall 5/5 visit and we will surely be back!
Zarine McDaniel
I get takeout almost weekly, and every time the quality is consistent. There’s a reason why this place is ALWAYS busy. Because it’s a place where people go back to again and again. Just don’t believe the 15 wait time to pick up your food, or you’ll be waiting when you arrive.
Jason Dai
This is my go to spot for Italian food! The grilled wings are so good and for my main entree, I always get the fettuccini Alfredo with sausage! 10/10 must try again!
Supun B Attanayake
Really like the dimly lit romantic vibe of the place. The place can get packed so make sure that you make a reservation. Food is of good quality.
Maddi Glover
excellent excellent excellent! this was a fantastic restaurant all around friendly staff quick turn around for orders and such great food … i highly recommend ordering the butternut squash ravioli it is smooth and delicious bursting with flavor . 12/10
Tara Pereira
Food and service was great! The pasta is the bucatini and the sandwich is the grilled chicken breast. I’ve been to red rabbit a few times but never had the bucatini- it’s definitely my favorite dish there now! Servers and host wore a mask and we got shaded patio seating.
Scott Swanson
Patio seating in the chilly air was perfect thanks to the heaters directly over the table. The Cavatelli was delicious and the toffee cake was incredible. Eat here!!
Slava Sponitz
There was small group of us who came to this restaurant for an early dinner. The place wasn’t very busy and our waitress was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We started from appetizers. The Burrata was fresh and tasty, wood grilled chicken wings were amazing and lobster bruschetta was ok for my taste. My wife and I split Shrimp garganelli and that was little bit oily for us and Mixed green salad that was fresh with a light and tasty dressing.
Sofia
I don't live in Minneapolis but I visit a few times a year. Whenever I'm there I make sure to go to red rabbit. They have amazing food and drinks and the service is always great!
Foodie Delish MN
If you haven’t been here, do yourself a favor and go. This is a fantastic place with great price and delicious food. My favourite dish is the raviolo and they have the Best sticky toffee cake. Is a great spot for happy hour too.
Ashley M
Good service, broccolini, pizza, and cocktails. I love how they present the martinis. Definitely will be back when in town again.
Felix Avery
What a great experience. Customer service and ambience is excellent! I did not try any of their beers but I had their mushroom pizza with homemade Italian sausage and it was awesome! One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Price is also very moderate considering the insanely good customer service. You get the VIP feel every time. Would come again later with more friends.
Boundary Creek Moped Club
The staff were so appreciative of us visiting on first day of lockdown lifting. But it was two way, the food was amazing! I am a good home chef, but what a treat, and they treated us like King's. Out 30th anniversary was even more special with the sticky toffee cake.....not a dessert guy, but dang, I am now!
Rory Rusinek
Downtown for another Lynx game and had an early dinner here.
Being early it wasn't too busy but still a decent number of people at ~3:15p
We started off with meatballs, our order had three. The meat was not overcooked and the sauce had a great flavor, some may think a bit of spice.
Then ordered our entrees and wine flights.
The wine was all pretty cold depending on your tastes, each flight had a sparkling variety in it.
The chicken parmesan was moist and the breading not too thick. Do want to mention that it did not come with pasta as you might expect, the entree is two good size chicken pieces. The sauce similar to what came on the meatballs, a bit heavy on the Italian parsley. In all though a good dish.
The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken came with small croutons on top which is unique. The chicken is grilled and then cut into chunks and the sauce is a decent consistency with bits of garlis and a fair amount of cheese. My daughter ate about half the order.
The bolognese pappardelle was very tasty. The sauce was quite flavorful, with lots of meat and great seasoning. The pasta was cooked very well. My wife would have loved to take leftovers home, but there were none to take.
The chocolate cake was a bit dark with a dense texture topped with a few amaretto cherries and a scoop of ice cream on the side.
The sticky toffee cake was the highlight of the meal, moist and drenched in salted caramel sauce and SOOOO yummy. Recommend it to anyone.
Other than a bit on the pricey side this is a nice place to eat at when down town.
SAKSHI GOPAL
I think it's quite amazing. I had the wings and then the fresh oysters.
Firstly the wings were really succulent and done just right. The flavor was just perfect and the dip just too it to another level.
The oysters too were very fresh, huge and tasted amazing. It was just perfect.
Ella Ebrahim
Exceptional!! Great Service & ambiance!! Food was so delicious!
You have to try their toffee sticky cake, its the best!
Eb was great! Thank you!
Bliss Benson
Best dessert of my life. The sticky toffee cake was amazeballs!
Sophia Mwangala
Always so yummy and the service is amazing! Had a great server named Jessica, if you're lucky enough to have her, tip big! Great place for brunch, bottomless mimosas anyone? One of my favorite places to dine downtown Minneapolis. The burrata is my favorite. Their lasagna and pizzas are pretty spectacular as well!
Eddie Mend
Best restaurant in the Minneapolis area. Great pizza, great cocktails, and amazing service. The perfect restaurant for a night in downtown.
Mary Gast
Food and service was phenomenal! My first visit was for brunch and we were not disappointed. Drink menu is great and the cocktails are priced well based on quality and neighborhood.
Definitely will be going back to try dinner and probably more items on the brunch menu as well! Keep up the great work!
Tammy Lynn
Pasta dish with meatballs was really good. Located in a convenient spot but a little pricey on the drinks.
Michael Z
Stopped here for lunch. Cool space, friendly staff! The portions were on the smaller size but the food was delicious and filling, so that didn't end up being a bid deal. Definitely worth checking out
JC Cross
Outstanding flavor and good service in an excellent location.
The chef has put together a menu with wonderful flavor combinations.
You wouldn’t believe roasted cauliflower could taste so good. You probably would believe a waffle with salted caramel-rum bananas and mascarpone could taste good, and you’d be right. You can find something for just about every preference on the menu.
As a nice benefit, they have an outdoor patio and dedicated parking - a rare find downtown.
Michael
Fun spot with good eats and nice happy hour deals. Oysters were on point as well as the toasts. Everything we saw looked delicious. The house made sausage was great! Will be back to try pizza.
Edit: Pizza was killer too.
Tiffany Quick
Our server Bell had the most amazing upbeat energy! I felt like I saw an old friend and was catching up every time they came by the table, so I loved it. Please never change!
There was a little wait for a table with no reservations, but the wait was worth it. The food portions were great and the Vegan options were labeled, which made life so much easier for me! Just one block from the Hewing Hotel, so it was a quick walk for us.
Jessica Florac
One of my favorite restaurants in the twin cities. Whenever we have friends or family in town, we bring them here... it’s consistently fabulous and everything on their menu is delicious! Burrata, bruschetta, cavatelli, raviolo, spicy salami pizza...
And their breakfast menu is amazing too!! I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve been here in the morning for breakfast and then gone back that same night for dinner :)
Aaron Jelley
Great food, great staff, don't forget to order dessert; you'll be glad you did
Christopher Kiewel
Once we found a parking spot the rest of the early dinner to celebrate a high school graduation with extended family (eight adults) was wonderful! Our server was attentive and helpful while not being intrusive on the celebration. Food came out quick. Spicy Salami Pizza was tasty with the honey chili sauce being a delightful addition to a pepperoni pizza. Crust was sooo good! Half of us got pizzas (PB&J pineapple, bacon, jalapeno and chicken Alfredo) others got pasta that looked great and came with rave reviews. Patio looked like a great spot for a smaller group. Wouldn't hesitate to go there again.
Nicole Nyarko
Sunday Brunch at the Minneapolis location was an absolute treat! Thank you, Red Rabbit! Happy Birthday! We'll be back for dinner very soon!
Tom Stenerson
When walking in you immediately smell the delicious odor of garlic in the air. Need I say it's Italian cuisine! Definitely on the upscale side for pricing. Staff was on game and helped to make the evening even more fun. The food was delicious, and definitely coming back to check out the pizzas!
Rebecca Jones
This has become a new go to spot as the food and service is consistently outstanding. I can’t say enough about how attentive and just lovely the staff is. They honestly make the experience of dining here a 10/10. The food is phenomenal, but the service takes it to the next level. Thanks to Mark for being such a lovely waiter and making our night so enjoyable.
Nate Lockett
Amazing service. Gluten free options in abundance. Great cider selection. The Yukon gold and Spicy salami are hands down the best gluten free pizzas I have ever had. Must try. Hanger steak is perfection when cooked in the same Wood fired oven as the pizzas. The olives and cauliflower are delicious as well .
Christy Lin
Thank you for having me, my first happy hour here was great. I had a long work meeting and unfortunately my food turned cold, but it was delicious nonetheless. Cheese curds are amazing and I’ll be back for the oysters!!
Angie Hyche
Amazing food and service! I am now a little obsessed with the grain salad. I told our server how much I loved the salad, and Chef Todd Macdonald came out to talk to us about it and about the city. We also loved the white bean and mushroom soup and chicken Parmesan sandwich.
Artlife S
Really liked this restaurant. Think of it as... Italian with a really nice kick. Everything had a nice edge to it even the bread had a nice smoky grilled flavor. Wife thought it was a bit spicy, i loved it. Would definitely go back or recommend to anyone
Brewski
Nothing life changing; just really good pasta
I was impressed by the amount of shrimp they added to my dish.
Amelia Smith
Great service and beautiful interior. Cheese curds, Cesar salad, and cavatelli were really good, would recommend. Meatballs and bolognese pasta were fine, nothing to brag about.
Jon Spann
Great host and good service.
Food was excellent and we had a group of 9 and no complaints.
Chips and dip and the cheese and salami board were excellent.
The bar had a cool vibe!
Tony Peltier
The Chopped Salad and the Pizza Rolls were darn good. I tried the Blueberry Salad and the Citrus Vinaigrette was not good. I'm glad I added grilled chicken or I would have avoided it entirely. Service was great. Kasey was upbeat, efficient, professional, and attentive. For those reasons we'll be back.
Isaac Risseeuw
we’ve had nothing but amazing experiences here! the food and drinks are reliably delicious and the service is attentive and fast. also really enjoy the added level of customer service when a manager stops by to check in on the evening. from brunch to happy hour to dinner, this is a great option!
favs are the cavatelli and the pizza rolls!
Tia Zoelle
This is our go-to date night! Everytime we are able to try something new and have no fear that it will not be delicious. This time we got the spicy salami pizza and the chicken parmesan. Bother were amazing, the chicken parm was the size of the pizza! We always end with the toffee cake, heaven on Earth 🙌 …
Rebecca Lee
My husband and I came here to eat and then later went to the bar for drinks. We had a great time--the food was amazing (I'm not hard to please, but my husband is very particular about his seafood)! The drinks were great as well--at or a little above regular bar-priced drinks.
We did not make a reservation, as they aren't needed, and were greeted by a great host and a great waitstaff. We also were pleasantly surprised that it was family friendly and we could bring our kids here in the future. Win-win!
Ryan Choi
Had the spicy salami pizza with house sausage, Korean fried chicken and oysters. All were really great! The old fashions were on point as well, single cube.
Toner Girl
Food was great and the patio dining was perfect for August. Portions on the larger size.
G M Rob
Food was mediocre. We were there celebrating a birthday and they did bring out a small cake with a couple of candles to blow out. That was a nice ending to a so-so meal. And beside the cost of the meal ,it cost me $10 to park 2.5 blocks away for 90 minutes.
Jodi Jabs
OMG!! Carmen and Jackie were absolutely amazing. We asked for recommendations and they didn't disappoint us! The oysters were absolutely amazing as were our two servers!! Thanks ladies!! The frose was amazing!! Thanks for topping off a great afternoon!! Definitely coming back!
Crystal Vrieze
Love the atmosphere and the decor. Nice attentive servers. Went with a few former coworkers and did happy hour. I wish there were a few more options that were gluten free though on the appetizer menu and parking is a pain. Nice big outdoor eating area.
Peighton Carter
Amazing service and friendly staff. Food was good too.
If you have a trained service dog, this is a SD friendly restaurant and they do ask the appropriate ADA/SD questions. They can distinguish between a trained SD and pet. I was very impressed with how they handled a person trying to bring a pet inside.
Adam Lofquist
It is okay. The biggest frustration is the fact you can’t make a reservation. I get the idea of a virtual wait list but it is hard to know how long it will be. It would just be more customer focused to be able to make a reservation.
Heather Bratulich
I wish I took a picture of the cauliflower black butter soup. It was one of the most delicious soups I've ever had! I will definitely be back.
Martika
The vegan pasta and pizza is really tasty but mostly the same ingredients. Would love more variation for the vegan options. Really yummy food but overpriced.
Jim White
Good service (friendly) and pasta and pizza is the stuff to order. Nothing fancy. Good place to go before a game at Target Field.
Natasha
Excellent food, efficient & friendly service staff. However, either inexperienced or deceptive hostess. We asked how long was the wait & the unswer was 25 minutes, which was very reasonable for Saturday night. We ended up waiting 50 minutes before we were setted, which is not ok. I understand 5 -10 minutes over or underestimating but twice as much, is not acceptable.
Ben Pederson
Food was great and service was fast. Been there a few times for lunch. Have had the family’s favorite pizza and the Italian grinder sub.
Lindsay Eaton
Great beer selection and incredible brunch options. Breakfast pizza was amazing and so were the breakfast tacos my husband had.
Chris Smith
Fantastic meal! The pasta dishes are amazing. I got the charcuterie plate, and it came with 6 cheeses, 3 meats and 3 fruits, all generous portions. We had it as an appetizer and my meal, and we only ate half. The Old Fashioned was excellent as well.
sviat zhuk
Very well maintained decorations. Food and service great. They have a variety of house cocktails.
Joseph Reynolds
Best pasta in town hands down! I keep coming back because the food is amazing! Thanks again for the good times
Rob
The food was great as expected. What surprised me was how good the service was. Lots of teamwork to ensure that all guests had a great evening.
Brittany Vickers
We love this place for brunch! Their service is always excellent and friendly (even when we had an extremely late party), the food is delicious and the atmosphere is clean and nice. Picture shows the Michaels tacos, Nutella piadini, Bloody Mary, and salami pizza:
Katie Russell
Absolutely fantastic food, service was good but definitely short staffed. Loved the diversity and chill ambiance
Michael Rivera
Had the burrata, salmon, and PBJ pizza. All were really good. It took awhile for the grains that came with the salmon to grow on me though.
Conrad Zero
Reservations recommended. Every dish has strong flavors, and interesting combinations. A great place to have new taste/drink experiences.
The decor is a hodgepodge of whatever was laying around. Destruction archetecture + overstuffed booths + waitstaff dressed as lumberjacks = no coherent sense of style or theme.
The staff are super nice and friendly, and know their menu well.
The Old Fashioned (pictured) was bland and missing the muddled cherry I thought was required. Probably better off trying their unique/original liquor combinations, and there are plenty to choose from.
Michaela Otterstatter
Great atmosphere, even better food! The service staff was friendly. Reasonably priced and thoughtfully created brunch menu. My mom got the waffle with berries. It was the fluffiest waffle she's ever had! Egg bowls next. Enzo was the largest plate with delicious romesco. The highlight for Breakfast bowl was the crispy cauliflower and the Bolzano had housemade creamy polenta. The mimosa carafe is a great deal only $10.
Walter Schroder
Overall very good. The pizza had a lot of flavor and the bruschetta was good as well. I will say that they favor IPAs on tap over lagers. Service at the bar was good and the guys were pretty good looking too 😉 …
Bob Sutton
The pizza was pretty good, and the service was even better. The cucumber gin and tonic was best when ordered without the cucumber.
Deanna Garcia
My boyfriend brought me here as a date and the food was so delicious. Highly recommend dining here.
Rena Feldman
Friendly staff, delicious food and great ambiance. Thank you, Red Rabbit, for a nice evening! We’ll definitely return.
Jessica Langenfeld
Food was great! We tried the margarita pizza on HH. I loved the pizza sauce, a little spicy but that is why I liked it! We also shared the seasonal gnocchi which had chicken thighs, parmesan, crimini mushrooms and cherries. It was delicious although not something I would typically order, I was pleasantly surprised. $2 off wines and beers until 6pm. The only picture I took was of the dessert - which was my favorite part! It is a date cake with a sea salt butter toffee sauce, carmelized orange peels on top with a whipped cream/sour cream on the side. The bottom had a tasty buttery crunch. Amazing.
Jonathan Swoyer
Great food. Strong GF options. Awesome staff. Well-made drinks
Justin Cammarata
Fantastic pasta, incredible cocktails, great pizza.
Recently moved to Minnesota from New York and was missing some authentic Italian and that's just what we got.
The vibe was cozy and romantic and the service was really great too. I'll definitely be coming back soon!
Nick Smith
Great pizza, the sausage and polenta was very good as well. The burrata with broccoli pesto was my favorite dish. Good happy hour pricing as well.
Carelyn Hillstrom
FABULOUS service, Thank you Thomas!!
EVERYTHING was perfect. We discovered this restaurant, while walking in the rain. We WILL be back OFTEN. Delicious.
Mindy Ondich
The cavatelli pasta was great! The sausage was really good, spicy, with white wine sauce. I would absolutely eat it again! It's a little overpriced for pasta and sausage, but it was really good. Also had the ginger beer which was amazing! If you like ginger, try it! Sweet, sour, spicy, delicious!
Thuy K.
Went for late night happy hour for oysters and spicy salami pizza. Both the service and food were fantastic! I've heard great things about these pasta and burrata. Must come back for those.
Tim Hagfors
Awesome Italian. The best Caesar Salad we have had in a long time. Extra lemon flavor, which I loved. The garlic bread cheese curds are so good. And the pasta was excellent. Great atmosphere. Staff was great and knowledgeable. Good cocktail menu and extensive wine list.
Matt Hill
The staff was well coordinated and worked seamlessly together to provide a solid experience. The food was flavorful with the pizzas bring the highlight. Go early to avoid a wait.
Eric Buck
Had a great dinner with family friends here. One was an Italian New Yorker and she loved the food, which is a high bar!
We joined the virtual wait-list and waited about an hour at 6:30pm on a Friday night for a table for 6. It was rainy, so outdoor seating was closed which made it worse.
Lauren Tennant
Have been to red rabbit for both brunch and dinner and everytime has been a great experience. Extremely friendly and helpful waitstaff. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The breakfast pizza and the Italian grinder were especially delicious. Look forward to my next meal here.
Michael Dwyer
Great food and great service. The brisket ravioli in Marsala sauce was really quite a delight
Carrie Lynn
The food here is incredible, each time I have had their food I am surprised by the quality and flavor. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, you don't need to dress up but you wouldn't feel out of place if you did. The service was also outstanding and they do a good job of accommodating special requests.
Rob Johnson
Daughter is a picky eater and they were able to accommodate her. Garlic bread app was good. I had the Cavatelli with homemade sausage crumbles = very good. Had the beignets for dessert = also very good. Service was good as well. Table location wasn't great = up tight to the door and very close to adjacent table... but we didn’t have to wait. The other detractor was that the atmosphere was diminished due to club music which didn’t go with Italian dining.
Samuel Schneider
Came here for dinner with a coworker. We had a great time. The food was served fast! The pizza was great and my co worker said the spaghetti and meatballs he got was awesome too!
Jordan Leick
I love vegan pizza, and honestly their Impossible sausage pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had. The agave topping really elevated the flavor — nice and complex. Can’t wait to try it again. On top of that, the service was excellent, and they didn’t even get mad at me for dropping all over their floors after I biked through a downpour to get there :)
Rajendra Popli
Great food, being an Indian I asked for little spicy pizza and you know what I got exactly what I asked for, great service, will highly recommend
allena thomas
Everyone's customer service skills are up to par. While they're a classy restaurant they're a very laidback and welcoming restaurant. With June being their oyster promotion month, they offer the best variety of oysters on the market. The oysters are fresh and have a mild sweetness to them. The Grilled Oysters are the best. The Chicken Parmesan was good and the sauce is fresh and house-made. The only downside is that the breading didn't stay on and there were a few burnt parts that they just covered up with sauce and cheese. The Alfredo side pasta with shrimp added was good. The only downside is the Alfredo sauce isn't authentic; cream was added to thicken the sauce. The shrimp I asked them to add cost me over five dollars and I only received three of them. The side Ceaser salad was simple and fresh with a house-made dressing. My son had their Spaghetti and Meatball with Broccoli and Fries. He stated that while everyone was good, he wished the single meatball he received wasn't so big. He was upset about not being able to eat as much of the other foods. I will say for that to be a kid's meal, the meatball did take up the majority of the dish. It was more like a Jumbo Meatball with some Spaghetti and two sides. My husband had their Chicken Alfredo Pizza. He stated that it was good. The only thing he wish they had was some type of sauce for the crust. If I hadn't had their oysters they would have received a three-star rating just based on food alone. I will return for their oysters since they know what they're doing there.
Rae Miller
Lindsey was a great waitress! She was super fun and knowledgeable about the menu! Pictured are spaghetti and meatballs and PB and J pizza
Lauren Aust
Fabulous, fresh, and reasonably priced Italian. Best recs would be the meatballs, margherita pizza, and chianti classico. The bolognese is amazing as well. We caught their happy hour on a Saturday which was a plus. Staff is nice and informative too!!
Samantha M (Sammi)
Their gnocci is so good! They had very friendly wait staff, and that wine selection. It was a great experience! Will definitely go again.
Erik Therwanger
GREAT food and GREAT drinks. The service was exceptional. Our server, Drew, was outstanding! Thanks for a phenomenal evening!
Tasha Smagula
Yum! We took my grandma here for a lunch and hit the jackpot. We all enjoyed our pastas. Pictured above is the gnocchi and below so the shrimp garganelli. Huge plus is the location in downtown Minneapolis has FREE parking! My only suggestion is they advertise that more on their website. We didn’t realize until we were sitting outside for 10 minutes and saw the signs in the parking lot had the Red Rabbit logo. I was able to call my partner who was still looking for a parking spot and direct him there and we then proceeded to enjoy our lunch. Thanks Red Rabbit!
Scott A. Hettenbach
Had the cavatelli, the sauce is absolutely outstanding. Only complaint is that they don't serve it with a pile of soft bread to soak up every last drop of the sauce with because it is truly that good you will want to.
Omemi Williams
The service was fast and kind. The server answered our questions in depth and was very patient when we took extra time to order.
The food was absolutely delicious! They had a good selection of oysters and the pasta was freshly made. I will definitely be returning to have the Cavatelli again!
Eric Fielder
Great Italian spot, good location. A little different than your typical Italian restaurant.
Teri Ahlm
The Cavatelli and the Grain Salad are absolutely delicious! We ordered more Grain Salad to take home with us.
Dave Gaal
I moved to the area only recently, but I've been here four times now. I never get the same thing twice, and I've loved everything. If you're feeling adventurous try something new, I'm sure it'll be good. Ask for today's soup.
Today I tried the Italian eggs Benedict. Why even have hollandaise when fonduta exists?
Laura Miller
Had the wood fired sausage pizza, was very good, excellent service, would definitely recommend if in the Minneapolis area.
Zack cavallaro
Came here with the wife. Had wine and an old fashioned. Loved the experience. Also had a pizza and could not be more pleased with that as well. Do visit and eat here. It was excellent
Sunflower
Amazing food! Anything we order here is always delicious. Fettucine alfredo, garlic bread cheese curds, and new world margherita pizza are the best!
Jeff Sparrow
Food was amazing. Loved the pizza. Awesome vibe. Service was great.
Amy M
Consistently, one of my favourite restaurants in Minneapolis. It's a reasonable price-point, especially for downtown. They have a nice patio as well as lots of indoor seating. The food is tasty every time. It's the perfect balance of 'nicer than a big chain restaurant' but still laid-back. And you can tell they pride themselves on very good service. The staff is extremely attentive! And they have lots of gluten-free options, which is a big deal for me! It's very rare I get gluten-free pasta!!!
Ethan Smith
First time in Minneapolis, and I ended up at this place. The atmosphere was great, and our server was very friendly and helpful. The appetizer was delicious as was the dish I ordered (lasagna). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Jeffrey Bauers
Wow the vibe was great. Plus I saw the mayor outside so you know high rollers and big wigs frequent this joint.
Konstantin Anthony Romanov
Oysters and Staff were absolutely excellent! Get the Amari to pair with the Martha’s Vinyard oysters.🦪 🦪 🦪 🦪 🦪 🦪 …
Doug Adelmann
The shrimp garanelli is excellent and of course their pizza is amazing as well. I would definitely like to try more menu items in the future.
Ray Capetillo
This place is amazing nothing short of amazing. Ambience is cool and the food was fantastic! Had the best tasting chicken parm I have ever had!
Angie Griffith
Went on a whim with not a lot a time before a show - Service was EXCELLENT and impressive, space is cool and comfortable, food was great. I was recommended the spicy salami pizza and loved it. The beignets are good but nothing like what you find in New Orleans....but that toffee cake thing WOWZERS YUM. I will be back, Red Rabbit!
Sydney Jenkins
Can’t speak to lunch and dinner, but brunch was everything I wanted it to be and more. Friendly service, dark beautiful coffee, and yummy flavors here. So happy we tried it!
Connie Mechler
We enjoyed the atmosphere and received excellent service. We ordered pasta, and we all enjoyed our food, right down to the last bite! The prices were reasonable and our recommendation is to definitely give this a try!!
Kyle Sarr-Dietershagen
One of the great places to go in the North Loop. A well done atmosphere and friendly staff with great food.
Ani Gholkar
Cheese curds had a good twist!
Beet pasta was great..some veggies or protein to go along would make it perfect.
Nice place overall.
Neicy Days
I go to the 1 on grand ave st paul thought I try this one since closer for my friends on this side service was great they gave everyone the same amount of attention love that the host and I believe manager were spot on thank you next time will sit outside patio my meal was in point yummy.
Debra Gunkelman
We were recommended Red Rabbit by my sister's coworker and I am so glad we listened! The food was absolutely stellar but Jaide (North Loop location) somehow managed to outshine the food! Her knowledge, confidence and smile guided us through such an amazing food & drink experience.. it was such a treat for us being from out of town. We ate family style and my sisters both tried dishes they said they normally would not try and then when we all picked our favorite they each pointed at that particular dish (Mostaccioli). Thank you Jaide! Thank you everyone at Red Rabbit for creating a beautiful and delicious atmosphere and dining experience!
Tony Kime
Had a fantastic experience here served by Lucas. My wife and I were looking for a casual spot close to Hewing Hotel. Red Rabbit is a block and half away. Not expecting much we were surprised with a great young waiter eager to please. We had the Burrata which was as authentic as we have found in any great Italian spot. They happily let us split four items. The caesar salad was good, Tortelloni spectacular with a side meatball and the surprise of the evening was the chocolate budino desert, and they had a muscato grappa to enjoy as a digestif. Not white tablecloth, but a vibrant place with a lot of young visitors and very memorable service. Training of all the staff by modelling the enthusiasm of Lucas would help improve the broader customer experience.
Aaron Book
Run, don’t walk, to this fantastic restaurant. Even if there is a wait, they will seat you as soon as possible and it’s worth every minute of wait time. The front of house makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time there (it was mine). And the management will keep tabs on you to ensure you are enjoying your meal. I visited after a Vikings game and it was packed. Ended up eating (by my choice) at the stand up counter by the bar. Aaron was my super-friendly and professional server. Had the pasta bolognese, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. I’m 100% Italian so I take my pasta seriously. Will be back next time I’m in Minneapolis.
Sasha DeMarre
I’ve never been let down at Red Rabbit. Expansive menu options and a good vibe. The staff are always kind, plus quick service. My go-to is the Spicy Salami pizza which has a nice soft crust with a bit of char from the wood firing. The sauce isn’t too sweet, and top it with cheese, salami, ricotta and hot honey - it’s sweet, spicy, and savory. The cocktails are great as well! I just tried the froze, which is a wonderful summer treat!
Anita Richards
Oysters, pasta, and amazing drinks. We had the best time and will go again.
Michael Metzler
An excellent dining spot. Great food, super staff, great beer list and full bar. The patio is behind the building, away from the street. My favorite so far is the Cavatelli and the fabulous grain salad. Chicken parm and pizza are also delightful. Will be back for more!
Aubra “Aubra Realtor” Palermo
Great team service and customer service! Amazing food (raviolo was light homemade yum). Unique cocktails, the Primm oh my gosh wow
Michael Kennedy
Great service, good drinks and banging pizza.
David Grayson
I got the House Sausage pizza, which is on their website but not on their printed menu. It has fennel pollen and charred scallions, and it was great.
Elizabeth Krietemeyer
Great food, great drinks, great service! Amazing spicy salami pizza. Must try!
kenisha Fearon
Customer service was really great. My children are very picky eaters and did not like what we initially ordered and they went above and beyond to find something that they would eat. We will b3 back.
Kenzie
Wonderful food and drinks! Service was a bit slow but they were slammed with orders, so I understand. My friends wings came out room temp and when asked if they could be reheated, they gladly did it. They gave a free dessert as an apology too. No parking on premises! I think there is a small lot behind the building but the chances of finding a spot there are slim to none.
D M
Great little place! We are not typically in the city for dining - but my son suggested the Red Rabbit for his birthday dinner. Our server was very friendly and accommodating - providing us with great suggestion(s). My son had the Cavatelli, his girlfriend had the Bucatini, my wife and I split a Alfredo Pizza, and we had the Chips & Dip to share.
The food was unique and tasty. The atmosphere was delightful, and the staff represented the business very well. I regret not snapping a few photos - but honestly I just got caught up in the experience.
Tahir Farooqi
I ordered the mushroom pizza, which was fantastic, my wife ordered tortellini which had fat pasta and seemed a bit under cooked, besides that over all experience really good, staff and waiters were very friendly.
Rebecca Manifold
Great food, atmosphere, and drinks! Unique pasta offerings, loaded with flavor! Very well executed all around! Would've been nice if the delicious garlic toast was complimentary with the main pasta dishes, but still worth it! Had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and cavatappi! Both were great!
Ossamah Sharafuddin
Red rabbit is a spectacular place for lunch or dinner! Love this place. Lives up to truly, affordable Italian.
- Ossamah Sharafuddin
Camilo Hernandez
Great environment. The pizza is great to share. I am honestly not a fan of salad but their Caesar salad hit the spot for me. Highly Recommend! Only downside was that they didn’t have a variety of domestic beers.
Jason Buck
Great all around. Super friendly staff with prompt service. Cocktails were awesome. We all shared the wood fired oysters which were excellent and the cheese curds. Those were a touch in the bready side. Then we split the spicy salami pizza. Flavor was definitely there, I just personally prefer a little less floppiness in the middle, but really good nonetheless. We also shared the cavatelli which I was a huge fan of. Really nicely seasoned with a touch of heat. Would definitely go back!
Kim Lorenz
This place had awesome food, wine, and service! We loved it so much that we went back the following night for dinner!
X Z
Had the cavatelli and Italian sparkling wine today. Loved it so much. The portion isn’t big but it’s enough, and the quality is very good.
Kimberly P
Friendly service, a nice outdoor patio and great food…make sure to save room for the sticky toffee cake.
Brittany McBeath
We had a patio brunch and it was lovely. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were all still kind and helpful. My sister had the breakfast pizza and I had the avocado toast and we both RAVED the whole time about how good our meals were! We'll be back for sure.
Jaime Vu
The food is really flavorful and the drinks are tasty! Definitely recommend this place!
Zhanna Woodard
Excellent food and service!! Everything fresh and made with high quality ingredients.
JoJo
We had a wonderful experience tonight celebrating our friends birthday! Aaron was literally the best server ever. We can’t stop talking about him and his awesomeness! Thank you Aaron for making our night memorable. We ❤️❤️❤️❤️ You!
Elia Zanella
One of our fav places in the cities and Aaron was absolutely fabulous waiting on us tonight!!!! Loved his energy!! Cool atmosphere, great food with gluten free options for me (gluten allergy) and fabulous staff. Highly recommend!!!
Steve Wrangham
Delicious food and friendly service. Tasty cocktail and a good wine selection - it's easy to see why it's always full of people!
Jennifer Larsen
Friday or Saturday Night? Get on the virtual waitlist hours before your intended time! I have eaten at Red Rabbit many times and the food is always fantastic! The cocktails are incredible and we always love our time here. However, I do think improvements can be made towards their waitlist system.
This Saturday we planned the eat at Red Rabbit. Knowing that it was Saturday Night and a Timberwolves and Twins games we planned to get on the waitlist early for 2 people. I signed up to the waitlist at 5:45 pm hoping to be seated around 7:15ish. We were 18th in line when I signed up and I received the confirmation text.
An hour later we received a text to check in with the host to confirm our spot in line and to get an estimated wait time. We were about 9th in line on the virtual waitlist. We checked in with the host at 7 and they indicated that it would be another 40 min. We ultimately left the waitlist at this time as thunderstorms were imminent and the inside lobby was packed.
It may be helpful to include an estimated wait time when joining the virtual waitlist! If we were aware it would take >2 hours for a 2 top at 5:45 we would of had time to make other arrangements. We will absolutely be back because the food is great but with a different waitlist strategy!

Crazy good service and food. In from KC for Target Center concert.. Called restaurant for directions via Skywalk. On-site Manager was dead on and friendly. Tremendous wings, fettuccine.
We Used to good Italian. This was next level.
Quality food and ambiance. Highly recommend. You get what u pay for!! Nice work
Anna Banana
Classy restaurant. Good food and even better drinks. The restaurant is clean and the wait staff are friendly. It’s a nice place to drop in for a couple drinks, I recommend the happy hour.
Emily
Loved my experience here the other night! Wait staff was knowledgeable and helpful in selecting drinks as well as food. We were around for happy hour which really makes their food reasonable. Not sure why people complained about pricing? Seemed decent to me.
I love their pizza selection, plus I really enjoyed their creativity with the flavors. Share a few different kinds at your table- I promise it won't disappoint!
As for the drinks, the owner has it down to a science. I love his picks for wine each month (here and at Red Cow). Their hand created cocktails are great too. I recently tried the champagne cocktail and it was fabulous!
Way to branch out from the burger industry and into Italian. I love it!
Tamara Peterson
You cannot go wrong at the Red Rabbit. I love getting unique pizza combos like the Spicy Salami. A great mix of sweet and hot! The Bolognese is a classic and beautifully made here. And we always start our meal with an order of the burrata. The cocktails are always excellent as well.

Our server was beyond professional and nice. The patio was extremely cold. Went to other patios around the city and they had managed to keep us a little bit warm. Here it was just plain freezing. The lentil soup was awful. Very plain. Everything was served in plastic ware which was quite annoying considering we had sat down outside and did not want our food to go. The water came in glassware weirdly enough but everything else was in to go containers. Either only open for to go orders or make the eating out experience pleasant for people who have chosen to freeze out and support your business. The pappardelle pasta was really tasty. The wings were good and the roasted cauliflower as well.
Kristen Biller
I would give this place 10 stars if I could! I had dinner here last night (Arugula salad + Bolognese) and just came back for lunch (another Arugula salad) and honestly, might come for dinner again, ha. It’s that good! Friendly staff. Yummy food. Incredibly priced. Great wines. Amazing! I will suggest this to everyone.
Stephanie Lockspeiser
Friendly staff, great food, rustic chic atmosphere and perfect sized portions. They make a great old fashion!
Mo L
You should go here. Randomly stopped in and, WOW, will talk about it forever. I don’t even eat pasta, and I did. And it was worth it. Cavatelli. *chefs kiss*. The best staff. The best atmosphere. The best food. The best drinks. Garlic bread cheese curds YUM. Chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti FAB. No room for dessert, and they still gave us a chocolate. Get out of your house and go here.
kenisha Fearon
Great service, and delicious food. We'll definitely be back.
alex n
Great service. Best Bolognese ive had. Great lemonade. There is also a small parking lot on the south side of the building for free parking.
Laura Ivanova
Amazing spot for a bachelorette (big group) dinner! The staff was so accommodating and the service was stellar! Everyone loved their meals and drinks and the charcuterie board was a highlight for me. Atmosphere was great too. Will definitely be back!
HI Hi
Delicious. 😋🤤
Lots of Gluten free options. Just ask.
Erin M. Kennelly
Have absolutely enjoyed the Red Rabbit the three times I have been there in the last three weeks! I have tried a few different menu items - typically I ask my server and order accordingly!
I have yet to be disappointed with any recommendation from the team members. I have had different associates each time and each person is well versed in what is on the menu and can help my friends and I decide if we have narrowed down our options.
They do a great job of following any Covid-19 guidelines that are still in place and I have never had any concerns about cleanliness of the establishment.
Some of my friends and I have decided it will be our go to spot!
Thanks, Red Rabbit for the engaging team members and delicious food!
Jenna Carlson
So many gluten free options!! Yum!
Derek P.
Closest thing to a true Venetian pizza you're going to get stateside! Their cheese and salami board is a great choice as well! Exclamation point!!!
Anna M-G
Good service, mediocre dry gluten free pizza (& quite overpriced), great burger (per my husband).
Value for what you pay id say is lacking. Probably won’t return
Grace Glover
Such a lovely place to spend time. The food and service at top notch and you can’t help but feel happy here. A perfect blend of chic and comfy and delicious.
Drew W
Awesome place! Visited many times for special occasions and even not so special occasions! Our go to Italian place! Service and cocktails excellent! Awesome wine list!
Joe Smith
I had a takeout order. The staff was very polite and welcoming and immediately addressed me as I came inside. The food came out very hot and fresh. After I got home I realized a minor mix up with my order. I called and was connected to a manager who was very courteous and quickly resolved it to my satisfaction. Looking forward to coming back.
Chloe Williams
Took my boyfriend here for a nice Italian birthday dinner and wow, it was absolutely delicious! The staff was super great and friendly. Only bummer was they changed their Caesar salad dressing and it was awful so a waste of a $15 salad but otherwise would 10/10 recommend!
Lavanya Narendran
Pastewas really. Their sauce was truly tasty. They had a different style of Margherita pizza - very rustic sauce with a cold slice of mozzarella. We were not necessarily thrilled by the pizza. But that could be just us.
Amber Z
The food was excellent! The garlic bread and roasted olives were fantastic. Pasta was cooked to perfection and very unique. We ordered a shrimp pasta and sausage pasta. Service was wonderful, the staff was attentive. Great atmosphere.
Grace Chryssomallis
I've been here for happy hour a few times, the pizzas are delicious (my favorite is the spicy salami) and also a big fan of the wood-fired olives. They have a fun selection of sparkling roses and great cocktails. Will have to come here for dinner soon to try their pasta!
helemina latu
Great food, good drinks, chill vibe. We ordered the charcuterie board and at the time they had oyster specials. Delicious. Divine. Heavenly. The staff were good people, our seating was good. Enjoyed very much.
O. Komarenko
Great food, awesome best selection, nice patio, fun location. Be mindful if you're coming with kids - can clearly see the Sex Wold and Exotic Dancers neon signs across the street from the patio. As a family we had a great time, albeit with awkward moments when my tweens asked what those other stores were.
Alex
My first time here(dinner)the customer service by our waiter was very unpleasant. I almost thought it was an actual joke. The food was slightly above average. My second time here a group of us went to brunch and everything was top notch. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable. The food and drinks were great. I recommend getting the Breakfast Bowl, lots of flavor! Overall my experience has been hit or miss.
Erik Schenck
Fresh pasta and really good pizzas. Love the 10 pm happy hour with an Old Fashion.
Caitlin Mallon
So good! Their pizzas were my favorite.
Ian Johnson

Simply Delicious! I drive by all the time, but tonight was the first time I have stopped, and I am SO glad I did! We started with an app and the wood fired chicken wings were fabulous! The parmesan dipping was so delicious we took the leftovers home! And our entrees were simply amazing. We shared the sticky toffee cake for dessert and we inhaled it like ravenous sharks. It was the perfect bite to end a perfect meal. The staff was so friendly and attentive...I could drone on and on. There literally was nothing to complain about. You MUST give Red Rabbit a try!
Susan Somborovich, Point to Shoot
I really like this place. The gluten free pasta is good. I love the tile and decor. It's really hit and miss on being able to get in though. They don't take reservations. Ginger Beer was wonderful, pasta great, tartare is a bit too creamy and too salty for us .They did forget it on our order but when we told them they brought us one after our meal for free which was nice .
Paige Deroma
Great food but even better service. Mark was attentive, kind and friendly. We will definitely come back!
John Belk
Really delicious fine Italian food and great service. The Shrimp Garganelli was an especial standout, but every dish we ordered was very good. The patio heating isn't quite on the same level, however, so I would recommend dressing very, very warmly.
Kathryn Sherburne-Brown
So beyond delicious!! This was one of my favorite restaurants before the shut down and it has remained a favorite since. Red Rabbit has BY FAR the BEST take out we have tried in the Twin Cities. We have noticed some of the quality of other restaurants has gone down (understandably so) but Red Rabbit is not one of them. We've tried tons of stuff on the menu and every single thing has been delicious and flavor packed. The sausage on anything is unreal. Thanks for all the hard work Red Rabbit!!
Malaika M
I have come to this location a few times, and each time it does not disappoint. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. The food comes out without any issues. I love their Alfredo. The portions aren't too big and most of all, they are affordable. I love how they have tried to make their outdoor patio somewhat private in such a busy area.
T P (PT613)
Lively place, food is above average. We had the spaghetti (should be able to spell this after 52 years without spell check) and meatballs, really good. I never order this dish out, but I really enjoyed it. I have also had their cheese plate which is amazing. The pizza is not bad, fresh ingredients and a chewy crust. Service is responsive. Fun bar. Good date night kind of place, open late on weekends. Wish they would add a few more choices to the menu.
rick parmeter
Went to Red Rabbit on a Sunday and got a few drinks and brunch. Great environment, and the Italian Benedict was one of the best benedicts I've ever had. Aaron was our server and he was such high energy and had a lot of great recommendations. Highly recommend.
Brian Osweiler
I went here with my daughter on a Thursday night at 6:15. The hosted was friendly and we got in right away. Our waitress was attentive, but gave us space. I always order a fairly standard option at a new pizza place, so I chose the house sausage. The crust was ideal, thin and crisp, but not over cooked. I’d rate the sauce , cheese and sausage as a 9 out of 10. Great experience and great pizza.
J
YUM! we loved all our dishes. AMAING MENU!
John Moore
Food was pretty good. Their sauce is a little on the sweeter side, just not in a bad Papa John's way. The kitchen stays open an hour later than anywhere nearby.
Ashley Wolfe
Very fast service and delicious food! We stopped by before our return trip on the Megabus down the street. The wings and (ranch?) sauce were well seasoned and juicy. I had the spicy salami pizza and that was well worth the price. The chicken Alfredo is worth a try too! I'd surely return on our next trip to MN.
Matt Smith
Twice we've gone there for lunch, each time I've had a pizza. It's just barely too much for one person, but definitely not enough for two "regular sized" people. It does have some good pizza, but it's nothing outstanding. Just an above average pizza joint. Has some other menu items for vegetarians and pasta lovers that I've heard are to die for - so maybe I'll try those next time around.
I've never been disappointed, but never blown away either. Service is always good, and the atmosphere is pretty nice too. Not sure how it is during the dinner rush, but lunch is always a pleasant time.
bart brueshoff
Great food, wonderful staff, amazing drinks!!
Kirsten Pranschke
I like this place. Their backyard patio is a fun spot off the street. They typically have some fun drinks as well. I gave it 5 stars because my favorite pizza is here, the salami with honey (yes it sounds weird but I swear you need to try it), but I do have some issues. They don't bring bread to the table, yeah I know, gluten free, keto diet, etc. but this is a pasta place! Bring me some darn bread for free! And the parking isn't the best for those who drive. BUT as I said, they have my favorite pizza and the other entrees are also awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend the pizza rolls appetizer! Makes up for the lack of bread 😉
Chieko Foster
This was my 1st time. Food, drinks... I want to give 5⭐️ but this was my 1st, And they were out of my favorite dessert. And I need to come few more times to find out if I can give 5.
Yvonne M
We stopped in here before a Twins game and were not disappointed.
We ordered from the brunch menu. The wood grilled oysters were excellent. We also ordered the avocado toast, house cured salmon, breakfast pizza and breakfast bowl. All reported that the amount was appropriate for price and very tasty.
The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and checked in as needed. We sat on a cute patio, but the inside of the restaurant is cute also. There is a very small parking lot behind the restaurant, or street parking (pay).
Lance Pachon Mueller
My fiance surprised me by taking me there for my birthday. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. The food was amazing, like really really good. Had their broccolini and cheese bread as appetizers. The broccolini tasted almost like a steak and you wouldn't think cheese bread could stand out like that but it was better than any restaurant I could think of. We got a chx alfredo pizza (woodfire) and the cavatelli pasta. This food was delicious, start to finish. We will be coming back and if you like Italian food you should check it out too
Angelica McHenry
Amazing pasta! Can’t recommend the cavatelli enough. Service was amazing, pasta was amazing. Definitely want to come back here next time we’re in town!
Mario Taylor
The cake was amazing! It is a must have when you go in.
Joseph Sawyer
Fantastic place for brunch. Mimosas by the carafe, bloody Mary, and the most creative Italian breakfast/lunch foods you've ever seen. They keep their Italian roots for flavors but aren't afraid of making a breakfast taco. Plus the staff are super friendly, prompt, and polite. The interior had some great art pieces and a very cozy feel. I wish I could have spent 4 hours at brunch here.
Jonathan Lopez
Absolutely fantastic, extremely good food, friendly, and prompt service, wide variety of flavors not too hard on the wallet.
Taylor McKenney
My favorite restaurant in North Loop. They have a great variety of food despite me being a vegetarian and gluten-free. They also have great drinks. Good vibes, good service, good food. What more could you ask for.
Mercedes A
Red Rabbit is a class act ! The service is wonderful. They are very knowledgeable on the cuisine and have several suggestions and recommendations. There is such love put into the food. We had the grilled veggie platter, salmon, and gnocchi. It was to DIE for! This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time. We will certainly be back!
Keara Kelleher
Great food! The gluten free options were limitless. I had the fettuccine and it was amazing. The patio is nice in the summertime and the inside is very clean and modern. Parking is fairly easy there is a lot across the street. The staff was very nice and the prices were reasonable. Fully recommend!
Mackenzie Lynne
Was not entirely impressed with this place. The quality of the food was good but the service was slow and the meals were a bit monotonous. The chicken parmesan entree was just two giant pieces of chicken, no pasta, no bread, no side salad... Just a pile of protein. It tasted good but how much chicken can one person be expected to eat in a sitting? I have had more satisfying Italian elsewhere for much less.
Tom Barbieri
Maybe Minneapolis's best-kept secret? I loved this place. Food was amazing. we had the New World Margherita pizza, the Korean Fried Chicken, and the Raviolo. Everything tasted fantastic. I would order all three items again. Service was friendly, fast, and helpful. And yeah - maybe they do have the best Old Fashioned in town. My one complaint is that one reason we went was that the on-line beer menu had great options that weren't present when we arrived. We were told these were probably at the other location. I recommend the beer menu include locations serving each beer.
Armin Samardzic
Visited Minneapolis for a couple of nights. Dine in was closed everywhere due to Covid restrictions, but this place had a nice heated patio set up. Pizza and pasta was delicious. I think we got the meatballs and dessert. Manager was very welcoming and friendly.
Jocelyn Walsh
I absolutely love Red Rabbit- I've gotten something different every time I've been there and have loved my food each and every time. They also have great drinks. (also, I've always had incredibly nice servers)
Linda Bremer Menter
Outstanding experience! Hand crafted cocktails were superb and the food was delicious. The service was efficient and very friendly but not rushed. Try the sticky toffee cake- it’s to die for!
Ryan Sites
Spicy salami wood grilled pizza and wood grilled oysters... Can't say enough good things about the food, service, and atmosphere!
Jeri Hillestad
The service was phenomenal!! Every person we encountered was delightful - especially our waiter Zach! Loved every encounter. The food was equally as great. We had the Burrata (so fresh and surprised how good the broccoli pesto was), chopped salad, soup of the day and the chocolate cake desert (Zach suggested a side of caramel sauce which took the desert to a totally different level). Highly recommend visiting!
Kate Sahnow
You guys. We went for my birthday dinner with a group of 8 (including 2 kids) and shared everything we ordered. My top picks out of all we tasted:
Cocktail: San Jorge
Appetizer: Sausage and Peppers (served over delicious polenta)
Pizza: PB&J
Dessert: Sticky Toffee Cake
Service was a 10/10 from the moment we stepped in the door. Atmosphere was perfect with just the right amount of background noise. Plan ahead for parking and enjoy balanced cocktails, delicious food, and fantastic service. You won't regret trying Red Rabbit.
Cruise Cycle
I liked it. Located in a renovated former car repair/garage in downtown Minneapolis, the place has a menu with a good cross-selection of comfort food and broad all star favorites.
The place was clean and very well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. Due to its location, parking can be a bit of a challenge at times, and prices a bit on the expensive side although certainly within the range expected for the location and competition. Definitely worth trying if you are in the area and looking for a solid, noncontroversial choice. Well recommended.
Jacob Brekken
Love the atmosphere, the food was all delicious, our server was incredible. It never disappoints. The wood grilled chicken and toast is amazing with the creamy fettuccine Alfredo
Erik Kessel
Outstanding food and fantastic staff! Had a great time here as a pre Guthrie dinner and will be back. The sausage had a bit of a kick... A friendly delicious kick but a kick! Also the caramel sticky toffee desert ... Amazing!
Christopher Morgan
Great food and cocktails. Servers were on point as well. Not a bad dish or side in our group of eight. Really well managed and run restaurant especially considering how busy it was. They treat guests waiting for tables as if they were already seated, taking drink orders and keeping you apprised of the wait time. Solid place, hope it continues to do well.
Abbey Burtis
Red Rabbit is superb! I’ve dined here (and ordered takeout from here) far more times than I care to admit and have never been disappointed. Their food, drinks, service and ambience are an award-winning combination within a very reasonable price range. This is my favorite place to treat friends and family. My go-to order (seriously, I order this every time) is the arugula salad, cavatelli and salami pizza. You just can’t go wrong.
Megan Kraft
My best friend and I visited to celebrate my birthday and our waiter Tom made our experience just incredible! If the food wasn’t delicious enough—which it definitely was—we would come back for Tom alone, that’s how fun and welcoming he was. Thanks for a great night!
Marcellin Kopandru
The food and drinks were good. I had a mixed green salad with salmon from the Rabbi food menu. Also finally found Good Island Bourbon county stout; good stuff :) overall, the food was good, it deserves four stars, but I am giving 3 stars because, service was a mixture of good and bad experience. The hostess was gracious, and welcoming. The bartender seemed to ignore us, yet paid lots of attention to patrons on our left and right. That's why I am giving Red Rabbit 3 stars instead of four stars: good food, less than average service.
JENIFER GATELEY
Most fantastic dinning experience I’ve had in ages. Our server was incredible and offered excellent recommendations. We devoured every last bit of everything he recommended. Chicken Parmigiana was to die for and I’d move to Minnesota for the Toffee Sticky cake alone. Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🔥 🤤
Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Melissa Rach
Went here on a Sunday for brunch. Bottomless mimosas were a bit pricier than some places nearby but they were worth it. We sat at the bar - prompt, friendly service, they referred to us by name after checking IDs. The atmosphere was my favorite part. Highly recommend!
BillieJo Sampson - Move It Real Estate Group
Our entire experience was amazing. We ordered fresh oysters and they were phenomenal! They came with three topping choices... I loved the horseradish but they would have been great plain! Very good flavor. For the meal my love ordered the CAVATELLI and we both couldn't get over how delicious the house sausage was. I had the spicy salami pizza and I would kill for another. WE WILL BE BACK!!! Thank you Julian for making our last dinner in Minneapolis amazing!
Marco Trotta
Seemed a cool place to go for a drink and good food...only complaint is they wouldn't let me use their wifi while checking out their menu (the hostess...must have thought me a vagrant or something!)..so I guess I won't be first to go back there...Anyway.... probably a good place otherwise...👍 …
Chris Hayes
The best wood grilled oysters on the planet! Awesome customer service. They even have a super model working there! She was hot! Great food! Best management and staff that I have seen! A must go!
Mason Brown
Great food, drinks, and service! Staff was kind and helpful, drinks and food were tasty!
Tara Peterson
Service was great, atmosphere was hip, urban & appropriate. Food was not that great. The marinara sauce was very watery & not thick and creamy. Also, flavor was somewhat bland for my meal. I didn't get any bread & oil on the side or a bread basket before my meal which I would have appreciated. I'd probably go back but only if I was invited by a friend to join for dinner
JD Smith
I have tried to eat here on a couple of occasions but usually there was an extremely long wait time (both times the wait was at an hour long) and since there is no place to wait, my friends and I went to other restaurants in the area. Finally tried on a week night and got right in.
Nice patio dining area. Pretty quiet outside which was nice so you can talk. Inside is extremely loud and it's difficult to hold conversations. Patio is the place to be in nice weather.
Food was good. We had some pizzas and a couple of shared plates. Good prices and portions. Some of the pasta dishes looked really good as well.
Unfortunately we had really bad service. From the extremely bored hostess who acted like it was a huge imposition for her to seat us to the waiter who kept forgetting our drinks orders, would disappear for long periods of time and had to ask what we ordered a couple of times. Took a very long time to get drinks, water and the food. in the middle of service, the waiter disappeared and suddenly we had 2-3 other servers coming to our table and trying to figure out what we needed. Seemed like no one knew what was going on outside. But at least they tried to help.
So food and atmosphere would get a 4
Service gets a 2. I'm hoping it was an off night or just an inexperienced wait person.
I'm in no rush to go back but may give it another try down the road.
Regina Hernandez
I had a great experience here! The atmosphere was nice, casual but not too casual. This restaurant has a good menu, and really does have options for everyone. I had the cavatelli, it was so, so good!! I also tried the cauliflower, and the vegan pizza. Caulifower was great, the pizza not so much - but to be fair, I am not vegan. It was busy, but service was still good, and we didn't have to wait too long to get a table. I'll be back :)
Sheena Curry
Red Rabbit is a great restaurant. I had the Italian Chopped Salad, but it was a huge mistake. Don't get me wrong, the salad was delicious but I should have gotten their chicken parm! My friend ordered that and when it came I was instantly jealous. Our server was also really friendly and everything was decently priced. I will definitely be back and next time I won't be getting a salad!
Auriel Garrett
The staff and owners are very attentive and kind. There were pride flags everywhere which made me feel really happy and safe. The oysters and breakfast bowl were delicious.
Becky Y
Great service and great food. Highly recommend. I had the Lobster Benedict.
Ian Kyte
Natalia is the best bartender around and the food along with the staff is just amazing. It's a must try for lunch or dinner. Burger is recommended!
Melanie Blazar
I loved this place! It was delicious, affordable food. Great for a date night! The chocolate cake was delicious. The tomato Parmesan bruschetta was super fresh. The pasta was amazing. I will absolutely go here again! On top of it, our waiter was amazing. So much fun and so informative!
Anna Barrick
The atmosphere is incredible, all of the staff (including the head chef, as I have special dietary needs) are incredibly wonderful. Been there for brunch (um, mimosas crafes!) and also for happy hour. The salmon over arugula is memorable and delicious. My friend got the eggs Benedict and it looked so tasty. The roasted olives and cream cheese covered bruchettas are simply to die for. I'll be back over and over and over again!!!!!!! SO happy these guys filled this location!
Jessica Wicklund
Visited during happy hour with some coworkers. We were sat at the wrong table, so were asked to move almost immediately, but the manager gave us a free round of drinks for our inconvenience. Happy hour food was tasty (ranges from $5-$10) and the drink menu was extensive and sourced well. Service has always been great - would highly recommend for those seeking a post work happy hour destination or a date night.
Shae Pierson
This was a very yummy restaurant! I would absolutely suggest getting the YELP app to get a spot in line, because we did this and when we got there, people that were just coming from the street were given a two hour wait time estimate. The toasts were good--but the ricotta was cold, and I would have preferred a warm ricotta on toasted bread. The pizza was delicious as well as the wine! I would return.
Kyle Loren
If you're looking for good Italian that doesn't break the bank, this is the place! Literally everything on the menu is delicious - while also being cost-conscious to the every day customer. As for their cocktails, I highly recommend trying the old fashioned - muddled, mixed and chilled (one ice cube is key) to perfection!
Matthew Wagner
For a country boy and not a city boy, I do have to say this place was quite all right. Food was good. Servers were knowledgeable. There was a mistake on the meal, but it was fixed extremely fast. While waiting the bartender's asked if we wanted drinks or to look at a menu to save time. Overall experience was really really good.
Thomas Brama
Truly one of the gems of the North Loop. Highly recommend their wings and vegetable risotto.
Have had Tom as our server multiple times and he is absolutely wonderful. He's definitely one of the reasons we keep coming back!
Sarah Wynia
We were promptly sat by wait staff and our waiter Ryan was very attentive and fun. The food was served fast and was beyond delicious . Don’t skip on their desert either . Great atmosphere and an overall great restaurant. Highly recommend !
Kristina Sommers
Nice vibe... amazing food..shared some pastas and pizza and meatballs...all delicious! And wine...and dessert...all excellent! And our server was excellent too!
Elizabeth Tam
Red Rabbit has delicious Italian food! My favorite dishes are the chicken parm (which can easily feed two, the chicken is massive) and the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken!
James Flaherty
I’m almost embarrassed at how often I’ve had takeout from Red Rabbit, but their quality and exceptional flavor make it impossible to resist. With most takeout, somehow the food loses some of its pizazz, but theirs does not. This is hands down the best Italian in the entire metro. If you’re wondering if you should try it, the answer is a resounding YES.
Mary Van Hale
PB & J pizza is one of my favorites, delicious grain salad and excellent service. Highly recommend.
Nicole Bauer
Love this place. I've been twice for brunch now. Both times the service was exceptional, which is almost more important to me than the food. The food was great as well though. I highly recommend the breakfast bowl thing with potatoes. I can't wait to return for cocktails in the evening.
Nina Koller
Went here for Valentine's Day and had their special 4 course meal. All the food was great (except the caesar salad had too much cheese, but I'll overlook that). I especially enjoyed their sticky toffee cake. The service was fantastic and the layout of the restaurant was really nice, didn't feel overcrowded and the main dining room is separated from the bar so you can actually have a quieter sit down dinner.
Willard Puckett
First meal in Minneapolis and it did not disappoint. My local friend always orders the cavatelli, which was incredible. The sausage is made in house and the pasta is imported from Italy. I got the special, saffron risotto w lamb cheek. It melted in your mouth. Great Ambiance. Good place for friends or couples. Super friendly staff.
Brian D
Fist time there last night. Great atmosphere. Server was very good all around. What really impressed me was how fast the food came out. The pizza is delicious. We both ordered pasta plates and they were great. Go there!
Rachel Goldberg
Overall great experience at Red Rabbit. We loved the cheese board, garlic bread, pasta bolognese, and pizza. Our only complaint was that a member of our table had a birthday, and when we asked our waitress, she said they could do a birthday dessert. However, she did not tell us that they would charge us for the dessert. If they were unable to provide a free dessert, we wished they had just told us so we could have chosen a dessert ourselves.
Greg Rice
Pizza, alfredo, spaghetti, afagato, chocolate torte, all delicious. Great ambiance and service.
Mike Mutzabaugh
First time there. Great experience from beginning to end. The staff was fantastic, very attentive, and engaging. Food was excellent! We had a party of eight, and everyone enjoyed their meal. I recommend trying the meatballs! I'll definitely be going back soon.
Kristin “Kiki” Klun
Great service, amazing food! We always get the charcuterie plate for a large crowd (we had 8 people last night) and the cavatelli with the house made sausage is very popular for a reason! Their pasta is also made in house and is phenomenal, so any pasta option is definitely a win. I tried the Alfredo last night and added the sausage and was impressed. Also, no reservations, so plan to get there early (especially with a large party), and we like to take advantage of the lack of corking fee and bring in wine. If you do this, make sure you tip well. We don't want them to take that away!
emily mc
The best!! Awesome food and service. The Bolognese is my fave. Huge thick homemade noodles and a nice thick sauce. For awhile during covid they were giving out huge take home portions. Enough for 3 meals. Last night it seemed back to normal but thats cool. I ordered 3 times and got like 6 extra meals out of it :)
Kathy Modes
Very good Italian food. I got the shrimp pasta. It was delicious.
laura h
Nice atmosphere/bar area and a good patio in the summer. I've enjoyed dinner there with the exception of the flatbreads (they really lack any flavor). There brunch is pretty average with the exception of the hash brown waffles which are incredible. They also have really decent bloody Mary's.
Leo Castellon
Great food, and a really fun environment. I was thoroughly impressed with their craft drinks, and amazing service! We had multiple people stop in to check on our drinks, our food, and just see if we needed anything else. And they seemed to know when to stick their heads in, or when to just walk past and not interrupt conversation. It was really an impressive job by their staff. I highly recommend stopping in for a few craft cocktails, and some food. Only disappointment was that they didn't actually serve rabbit... even before I walked in, I assumed they would have it in at least 1 entree and one appetizer. I planned on ordering both, but sadly there wasn't even an item that played homage to they title of the "Red Rabbit"
Hollis McMartin
The manager at Red rabbit was a life saver last weekend and was able to accommodate my large birthday party of 11 last minute. The service was outstanding and everyone was satisfied with their food and drinks especially the old fashioned. The server was very considerate of our schedule and kept us on time. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience - would recommend red rabbit for large groups!

I have not had anything here that I wouldn’t order several more times...if I do not try some other delicious item first. If you have never been served a delicious whole head of cauliflower, here you can opt for a roasted whole head and it is delightful. Chop salad was salty and salady delicious. The mood is cozy and dark. Have always loved the food and service has always been top notch.

Great pasta, oysters, pizza. Can't wait to get back and get deeper into the menu. Cocktails are a little spendy especially considering their relative simplicity and that they all could use some room for improvement. They're not bad, they're just not $12 good. I can make a better old-fashioned at home and if I can do that then it's not a $12 drink. When I go back I'll just stick to beer.

It took a lot of cajoling to get them to push 2 tables together for our large group. From there our service and food was excellent.

I had just driven 1400 miles from Massachusetts to my new home in the North loop. My family went to red rabbit for our 1st meal on the ground in Minneapolis and we ordered 5 or 6 appetizers and a salad it was really really good service was great people were friendly probably saw at least 5 different servers during the time we were there which I really love. Barely a week later we went back again this time for dinner. Someone had recommended the chicken parm but I am always skeptical of getting chicken parm at some place that does not look the role of an Italian restaurant. But I didn't uproot my whole family to come to Minneapolis to be conservative so I said what the heck let's go for the chicken parm. As a finnicky Italian I have to say how amazingly good it was and it all starts with the tomato sauce for me. I can't wait to go back and just get a bowl of pasta a couple of Meatballs and a glass of wine. My daughter got the Short rib that was excellent also. What's amazing is how reasonable the prices are for the quality of the food you're getting a really good value...

Great cocktails, good food and a fun atmosphere. Do keep in mind the food is heavy for the most part and depending on what you order is heavy on butter and cheese.
It's a great place year round - cozy in the winter and a good hang out on the patio in the summer.
Maybe not a total foodie spot but a good one to check out.

Delicious food, superb cocktails, and excellent service! I visited with two colleagues. We shared the burrata appetizer and a half dozen oysters. For entrees we had the margarita pizza, gnocchi, and Bolognese papardelle. All of the food was well crafted, to temperature, fresh and delicious. Our server, Tom, was awesome! He made great recommendations and was all around pleasant! I look forward to my next visit! Service was prompt. Whether you're in a rush or looking to lounge, they can make it happen!

LOVED IT. Their breakfast was GLORIOUS. Get the breakfast potatoes! They were some of the best I've ever had! Also LOVED the bananas foster waffle, I prefer it over the berry one. Our waiter was ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL, we loved him, I believe his name was Hunter, so ask for him because he is the biggest sweetheart. Also mimosa carafes in different flavors are available and that heightened our experience even more. The atmosphere was cool and industrial, fitting and typical for downtown Minneapolis, but wow we had such a lovely time.

This place was great. The customer service was exceptional. The meatball hoagie was delicious. I will definitely be stopping by again.

My favorite place here to eat. We ordered pizzas and amazing drinks. Dessert was indescribably out of this world. The restaurant is beautiful and cozy. Our waiter Ian is the nicest and most attentive waiter I've ever had in the city. The hostess was a rockstar! Fast seating and service. Thank you!
Raddie Ruple
The service here was absolutely incredible. The waiter was super attentive to our table and was always there when we needed something. The food was amazing, full of flavour and just the right sized portions. Not too big but not small either, just the right amount.
Brent Knutson
Great food and atmosphere. The waitress seemed less than excited to help us. Maybe it a mid-shift but she seemed quite complacent compared to others who were helped on the deck.
Kylie Morgan
Great craft cocktails. We had a good time at this restaurant. The pasta I had was very good and the pizza has a great crust. Would recommend this place for a good meal and drinks after work.

We enjoyed a delicious pre-show dinner at Red Rabbit on a snowy evening. The cocktails were inventive and well mixed. I am a huge fettuccine Alfredo fan, and Red Rabbit’s version was very good - cheesy, flavorful sauce, noodles completely coated, and a great serving size. The noodles tasted like excellent quality and were cooked well. Our entire table had a great food experience! My only critique was that as it was a slow night, the waiter was a bit too attentive and came back to seemingly just chat a few too many times. We can’t wait to come back for brunch!
Amanda Milbrett
Ordered the shrimp garganelli and it was delicious. ❤️❤️

Awesome food! I love the wings here...

Sister restaurant to Red Cow. As a result, the service is amazing, the food is above-average and the prices are fair. Everything on the menu is good or great. Notable wine, beer and cocktail menu and the staff is knowledge about all wine, beer and spirits. One of the better happy hours downtown so it can be good for drinks even if you're not having dinner.
Kristin Lindahl
Red Rabbit is an amazing restaurant with top notch service and staff. We devoured the burrata (with extra bread) and the meatballs for an appetizer. Our table wanted to try all the pastas but decided to go with the servers recommendation of cavatelli (amazing), bolognese ( the noodles!!) and the shrimp garganelli (mouth watering). Our server also had nice cocktail recommendations as well to go with the meal.

What a great breakfast... different than other restaurants which is what we love! Had mimosas. Great eggs (poached.. delicious). The front of the restaurant is better for seating than the back; it has more light and atmosphere.
Alex P
Food was really good. I enjoyed the Korean Fried Chicken. The service started a little slow. They don't seem to have a host, or maybe they were occupied, but we were standing around for 5 minutes until it was suggested we just seat ourselves. But our waiter was great and prompt.
I think the bar might need to be toned down a bit, or at least be advertised more as a bar instead of a restaurant (so to avoid coming there with different expectations). There was a very belligerently drunk individual that didn't seem to be with any party. Kind of killed the mood of the night.
Libby Sullivan
Delicious!! Love the food and good variety. For sure get cauliflower! Great for groups. Would be nice if they took reservations... love bringing friends here for a fun meal and drinks.
Nick Wiederich
Amazing atmosphere at this downtown location. Very good old fashioned wine was excellent. Food was beyond description of enjoyment. Seriously, if you ever were thinking about trying it or not thinking about it all. It is worth it.
Adam Tarr
Went prior to a Twins game, got in very quickly. Had a great deal of 2 Odell's beers and a pizza for $15! Service was fast and accommodating; they ran out of the Odell's IPA and we're willing to substitute a Sam Adams for the deal. Pizzas were excellent, 3 pizzas were more than enough for 4 adults.
Mark GS
Amazing pizza! Our waiter Scott was fun and gave great service! Wonderful brunch spot.
Fariba Nosrati
Cool place, nice people, amazing food! Loved the summer linguine!
Andrew Boerema
I always enjoy meals at Red Rabbit. Excellent staff, an interesting menu with standard dishes done just a bit differently. Good seafood and beef options. I’m not much of a salad person, but I’m told they are also very good.
The wait staff is knowledgeable and helpful with food and drink selections. The bar itself is also quite lovely and the bartender is very good at helping with suggestions.
Lyndsie Griese
As a former employee and moved out of state, I stop at Red Rabbit every single time I'm in the MPLS/ St.Paul area. It is a bit spendy but definitely reasonable for the quality matched with the excellent service every time and a wonderful inviting atmosphere. 10/10 👌🏼 …
Sam Flood
Satisfied our Saturday brunch craving and were not disappointed. Friendly service, delicious and fast food, and bottomless mimosas (took it from a 4 to a 4.5 ⭐️) made for a wonderful midday meal out. Plus look how cool she looks wearing sunglasses indoors. 😎 …

I just ordered take out and wasn’t sure what I wanted . All I knew was that I wanted pasta . The person answering the phone and once I arrived she was at the check in counter was so nice .. she even told me what her favorite pasta was and now her favorite paste is my favorite pasta . Thank you for the suggestion . I can’t wait to keep trying new things on the menu .

The food here was pretty good, even though it did make me a little gassy lol(I had pizza) The drinks were pretty strong and the waiters and waitresses were super nice! They seemed like they actually enjoyed their job and it made the atmosphere much more pleasant. Would go again!
Greg Bueno
It’s amazing pizza and great service. Whether you go to dine in the restaurant or pick up a meal, red rabbit shows some of the best pizza the twin cities has to offer. The PBJ (pineapple, bacon and jalapeño) pizza is amazing and definitely worth a try. The chicken Parmesan is also very tasty and flavorful.
Natalie Louise Janssen
I've never had anything that wasn't fantastic here. The food feels very authentically Italian as well. Given the location it could be very uppity but the servers are laid back and it's a really great welcoming atmosphere. Nice patio in back as well.
Felix Fitzgerald
The food is incredible and the staff are lovely!
Steven Gumeny
An unassuming gem. Warm and inviting staff deliver food that exceeds your expectations. The menu is thoughtfully crafted and includes incredibly fresh oysters, upscale italian-inspired apps, and pasta so fresh and warm that 9 out of 10 doctors would agree it is good for the soul. Make it a point to go here next time you're in town. I'm really not joking it's that good.

This is one of our favorite restaurants and we took our friends for the first time last night and they loved it too! Burrata and pasta croquette appetizers are a must! We got the chicken Parmesan (enough for two) and cavatelli. The food does not disappoint! Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and made our experience very enjoyable too!

Tried Red Rabbit again...management asked us to give them another try. We were much more impressed this time! Great food, efficient and friendly servers and had a nice cozy table in the bar area. Glad we gave Red Rabbit another shot! We would definitely be back...pasta and grain salads are excellent.
Drinks were pricey but good.
Anders Fallt
Pricey, tables are close together so when its busy it gets very loud, and can be hard to have a conversation. The food is phenomenal. Everything we ordered was fantastic, came out reasonably quick for how busy they were. Parking can be a headache.
Sarah
I love, love, love this place. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, all fantastic. The oysters are delicious as well.
Russell Kirby
Amazing dinner and wine selection. The bar is super cool and modern with great bartenders. Everything I've tried on the menu has been excellent! Great experience with the GM as well when asking about food availability. 10/10- definitely worth a visit if you want an excellent Italian food experience!
Derek Jones
We had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and the spicy salami pizza. Both were out of this world good. The wine and house old fashion is something a person dreams about. I just wat to say thank you to the red rabbit for its delicious food, great beverages and even better service. This definitely will not be the last time I’m there.
Patty Champagne
If I could give them higher than a 5 I would! The service was amazing! It felt like eating with friends! The food and drinks were good too. We will be back on our next trip to the cities. Thank you for a great meal!
Melissa Hoffman
Simple and delicious. I had the fettuccini alfredo with cauliflower and arugula. Very good and simple. I loved it. Wide range of beverages with both booze and no booze. Went around lunch time and it was quieter than you would think. Easy to find parking as well.
Fred Allen
Great oysters. The chicken parmesan was also good.
Nadine Parris
I definitely recommend Red Rabbit Minneapolis!! Everything I put into my mouth was A-MAZ-ING!! From the Arugula salad (can't really go wrong there) to the seasonal Gnocchi pasta to the Toffee Cake dessert (get a scoop of ice cream with it - would be better than the whipped cream). Delicious. And priced very well.
Be prepared for a wait - 45-60 min for a table of 2 on a Friday night. No Reservations for smaller groups, just a Yelp waitlist that you have to be present & check-in to be recognized. Pick a good weather night, add your name to the waitlist & hit a nearby bar, dessert shop, or take a walk around the neighborhood. There's no comfortable waiting space inside. OR go on a week night or during the day.
The service is a bit "young" meaning a bit inexperienced & their timing was off all night. But the food is outstanding and the prices are affordable. You're definitely paying for the artistry in the kitchen and behind the bar. So be patient & enjoy your meal!
Andrea Kyle
This is a fun place. Very lively atmosphere. It was petty packed on a Saturday night, but we used an app to pre check in. We ordered bruschetta as an app. Only two pieces of bread-pretty delicious. We ordered the cauliflower to share and I think that was my favorite part of the whole meal. It's a huge cauliflower head with pistachios and mouse-if you go you must try! Overall semi-expensive, but a fun experience.

From the moment we walked in, until the moment we left the staff was extremely kind and the brunch food was amazing. Felix greated us for Brunch and was very helpful. Our server Eric was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and totally made our expirience top notch! The brunch food was amazing, definitely the best in town. It seems like the entire staff stopped over to our table throughout our meal filling coffees and water. Everyone was so happy and attentive. Thanks Red Rabbit! We are so happy to have found you!
Dave S
The wait was about an hour but it was worth it, because the food was really wonderful: our party of four had bolognaise, cavatalli, beef short rib, and a spicy salami pizza. Great variety of beer/wine/cocktails, and our server was friendly. We'd definitely go back!
S Chang
; Intimate setting. Great customer service. Fresh pasta! Pizza is alright. I'd stick to the fresh pasta. Couldn't find a parking lot, we normally park on the street right in front of the building.
Heather Grey
I stopped in for brunch today. I wasn't aware they served brunch, but they do, and it's the best damn brunch in minneapolis.
We ordered the bolzano with sausage and the berry waffle.
The food arrived looking gorgeous, prepared perfectly. It tasted even better. Seriously, the loveliest brunch I've maybe ever had. Chef Todd McDonald is running a tight kitchen.
Our service was also on point! Quick, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. This almost never happens. Bad service has become normal in this town.
And, bottomless mimosas for $11?
Ok, new brunch spot has been found.
Jake Nicholas
We’ve been here maybe five times, and always come back! Great food, and great service! Recommend their seasonal gnocchi and their garlic bread cheese curds.
Space Snaxxx
Went for soft opening which had a limited menu, but their pizza is delicious. Cocktails are among the best in the Twin Cities. Watch for Nicholas, he makes a mean Old Fashioned. Atmosphere and interior design is standard urban chic with exposed brick, nothing unique on that front.
Chelsie GawneMark
very good happy hour, really great pizzas which they are very accommodating for making dairy-free, lots of drinks to choose from though I think their wine list could benefit from a little tweaking. Offering a few more drier sparkling options would be great, good service
Justin Grant
I love red rabbit! I order through bitesquad and I go there at least once every couple months. Always great service and the food is consistently good! I highly recommend the cavatelli and the Cesar salad! But also the chop salad is great too. The bar is my favorite place to sit there. Such an easy option for every day dining, business dinners, date nights. Really a very all-occasion kind of restaurant!!
Debee Lake
My husband and I were looking for somewhere in the north loop to eat. We were at Trader Joes, they recommended Red Rabbit. We got the menu on line, called, ordered meatballs and spaghetti. Customer service was fast, very friendly and food was hot when she brought it out. Thank you 😌 …
Eric Hollen
Stop in for drinks and appetizers. The pasta wasn't anything to write home about. The drinks however were delicious. Outdoor setting was comfortable as well
Danilo Caruso
First thing I noticed when I walked in was the music: perfect balance, nice beats! It sets the atmosphere right there!
Then the staff work in a sense of team work that I love - it's easy too see how well everyone is engaged at work.
And of course the food is incredible, the decoration etc I love it!
