Reviews of Quang Restaurant
Daniel Gerland
First time visiting this restaurant and it was packed! We loved the atmosphere and the food! The dish I ordered was marked spicy on the menu and it had a wonderful kick. I also ordered the iced green mango tea with jellies that was very sweet and tasty. The menu had lots of variety with many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. All of the servers that helped us were very knowledgeable and friendly. We plan to return!

The pho here is EXCELLENT!! Best pho I ever had. The broth was clean and had a wonderful depth to it and the meats were generous.
Service was efficient and food was delivered fast. Great for hungry people. Lots of seatings inside and plenty of parking in the adjacent car park or on the street.
Victoria Cater
All of the meat that I ordered was tender and well seasoned. However, I think the fried pork skin could be crispier and my table’s service could have been a lot better. The servers either never came over with napkins to help us with a spill or even made sure our order was correct :(

Service was friendly, and fast, insanely busy location do parking is hard to find, noodle salad is fabulous, the egg rolls tasted a little different then I remembered from years ago. Also loved the lemon grass chicken. I intend to return planning in car pool or Uber because parking really is that bad.

only been here once, but amazing!! i got vegan pho and it was absolutely delicious! the clear noodles in it were perfect, great variety of vegetables, perfect garnishes, and you can add your own spice if you like spicy. also was a great portion! about 1 1/2 meals i would say. they have such a wonderful variety of foods to choose from. the fried veggie dumplings were so so good! i definitely recommend!!

First time here, unfortunately did not have a great experience with their service. Waited 15-20 mins to be served while we watch them serve other tables that were seated after us, can't help but feel a neglected by the server. We ordered our food, and it didn't take long, but I got served the wrong food and took them awhile to take it back and serve me what I ordered. (I managed to grab a picture of the wrong dish, not sure what it is but it looks good anyway)
Food-wise, everything tasted great! We tried the Pho and the Lemongrass Chicken, both tasted good. Just a shame that I probably would've enjoyed it a lot more if we didn't start out with terrible service.
We saw many good things about this venue and it was really disappointing that we experienced these strings of neglected service... Maybe we should've walked up the street and tried the Malaysian Restaurant just a block away instead.

We stopped in for a quick lunch. We shared an order of Chicken Pad Thai. The seasoning was amazing and chicken was cooked to perfection. Will definitely return. Service on Sunday was a bit slow and unresponsive but hard when short staffed. All in all a staple to Minnesota cuisine and worth the stop.
Evan McLean
I was sad that they did not have any curry left but the food was delicious. The pho could have been a little warmer to cook the veggies a little more but everything was on point taste wise.
Brian Osweiler
Quant has some of the best Pho in the Midwest. I’m not vegan but I got hooked on their vegan pho. They have been nice enough to use the beef both for me, which makes it some of the best I’ve had - good enough that I failed to get a pic before digging in. Their staff is great and they provide good service. If you like Pho and you’re in Minneapolis, this is a great option.

We came here for lunch and were seated right away but it took a while for any servers to take our order. The food was alright and would rate it a 3.5/5. Portion sizes were decent but I would not get their pho again since it’s a pretty small bowl filled to the top. Since it was my first time here I decided to get their spring rolls, pho thap kam, and jasmine pearl milk iced tea. The spring rolls were delicious! The pho has a savory broth and has more meat than noodles but was still filling. Personally, I would not get their milk tea again since it’s really sweet.
Tosh Gibson
I had the beef curry with baguette. The baguette was the best. Spring rolls were hot, crispy, and fresh. Service was slow because of staff shortage.

so it’s been too long since i have been to quangs and it isn’t for any good reason, and returning today was a great experience! i was pleasantly surprised to see they have basically fully remodeled and the location looks great. the food is still top notch and they are still smoking busy! definitely an eat street minneapolis staple!

Excellent Pho/Vietnamese casual restaurant.
The table spacing was a bit close and I'd ask for a wall table when returning. Unless you enjoy social dining in a pandemic.
The food was great.
The rice paper eggrolls were crispy and delish.
The pho was fantastic. Very flavorful. One of the best Pho spots in the twin cities for sure.
melanie richie
One of my faves!!! Been enjoying this place for years!!! Best Pho and the viet sandwhiches are amazing! I love the spicy beef and ham hock noodle soup, great if you need to clear up your sinuses. Dine in or to go...you wont be disappointed!

I'm from Chicago. I've been coming here a few times over the past 10 years and NEVER had an issue until today. I will start off by saying the remodeling of the restaurant looks great.
So I was an early arrival with my Wife at opening. We walked in and there was a young girl behind the counter holding up 2 fingers as in "is there 2 of you?" We said yes and she just did nothing about it and continues her conversations with another employee or whoever is behind the counter. My Wife and I stood there for a good minute. I ask my Wife....is there anyone going to sit us or do we just pick our own table. I waited another 30 seconds and still no one. We decided to choose our own table. I went to the restroom to clean my hands before lunch and while I was in the restroom...a waiter with colored hair came and rudely corrected My Wife about sitting ourselves down? Are you F--ing kidding me???? Put up a sign up front to say "wait here to be seated" or train the young girl up front to communicate to guests that someone will sit us shortly. Let it go! Do not correct your guests. Go correct yourself and others. I will not ever be returning and nor will some of my other Vietnamese and Laotian community family. I'm going to correct YOU now. "BE BETTER!!"
So I ordered the banh cuon. Weekend special for $10. Food is fine. Service while eating is fine. But your introductory to us is disrespectful. You, colored haired male embarassed my Wife. Again we and others will not return. Happy 3 stars.
UTH SOPHEAKTRA
Very nice food and delicious all food that we were order. You can try this if you have chance to visit this restaurant

Quang Restaurant - we had been going there for years. The food again went up between $3-$5 due to Covid, but from what I understand, the employees' hourly wage has not gone up.
Gerri Nguyen
Tastes almost as great as my moms. So good that we’ve been twice in our 3 days in Minnesota. Def a must go while in Minnesota!
Huzefa Husain
Some of the best Phở on Eat Street and probably in the Cities! The broth is among some of the tastiest I've tried so I highly recommend getting any of the beef pho dishes (picture below is the 505. Phở Tai). The service was quite speedy and even during their busy dinner rush the food arrived ~12 minutes after ordering! If you're looking for something to warm you up on those cold Twin Cities days, you can't go wrong with Quang's!!
Shahrin Shabnam Upoma
The food was good, and while I didn’t mind the wait because they were short staffed, they gave us dirty utensils with literally food on them. But the food was good.
Emily H
Full disclosure...I've had two items here, the Pad Thai and the Bahn Mi but those two dishes alone give this place a 5 star review! The Pad Thai is one of the best I've had. It had great citrus/lime to it, noodles were not overcooked (carryout), lots of peanuts and the whole dish tasted super fresh! Highly recommended. The Bahn Mi is in my opinion better than Lu's but doesn't quite come up to par with Lotus, however they are two very different sandwiches and price points $5 vs. $11. I'm excited to go back and try more food!
Pro-Tip: They have a parking lot and online ordering!
Sooya xyooj
If you want authentic Vietnamese food. This is the place to be at! Not a lot of Vietnamese restaurants serve this dish, Bo Kho. When I saw it on their special. It was a must get! They are super busy so be patient with them.
Tiki B
Great food. Fast and efficient service. Tight parking lot, expected for the location. Pho was great of course. Also enjoyed the Banh Mi, weekend special and Lychee bubble tea.
Grace Strehle
I love the pho! It was very busy when we went, so I recommend ordering everything all at once so you don't have to wait a while for the server to come back.
Tristan Klausegger
I went here with two friends and I was super impressed with the efficiency of the service! Our server took care of the whole dining room solo without missing a beat. I was a little adventurous and ordered something outside of my comfort zone - a pork sampler with a pork chop, pork skins, and a crab and pork cake. The pork chop was absolutely delicious and I would order it again as a stand alone item. The shredded pork skins were better than I expected, but I'm good with trying them once. The crab and pork cake was a bit spongy, once was enough. I would like to come back again and order my second choice - the meatball pho. Thai milk tea was yummy too.
Amber Ooley
We don’t get here as often as we’d like to, but it’s always worth it for the pho. For appetizers, I recommend the pork egg rolls and fried sweet potato + shrimp appetizers. End it with some bubble tea for dessert and to- go banh mi sandwiches for lunch the next day. 🤤
alysha bellamy
I usually get the vegetarian pho, or the lemongrass chicken. Today I have the beef stir fry. The flavor of the beef was pleasant, the problem I had was it wasn’t what I expected in a stir fry, meaning there is a gravy like sauce and not the sticky or marinated sauce I’m used to. The ice coffee and the spring rolls are a must have there.
Karl Pasche
The banh-mi is fantastic. Delicious crusty bread filled with the delicious fresh jalapeño and cilantro, pâté, and the meat. It’s fantastic.
Thorbjoern
It's definitely ok 👍
Not the most exciting food. Although there's nothing wrong with it, I don't think we will be coming back. It just wasn't very interesting 🤔
Alison Gertonson
I wish I could say this was recommended to us but we hadn’t heard of Quang before and boy do I wish I had found this place sooner as I have lived here for 19 years.
The food at Quang was amazing!! My husband and I came here before going to a Gopher’s game and it was like hitting gold. The pork egg rolls were amazing- I had the beef and meatball pho (a choice I wouldn’t have thought of if it weren’t for our amazing waitress, Vicky). Vicky told us that the broth for the pho is their pride and joy- no wonder... it was SO flavorful!!! My husband had the *spicy* bo bun hue.
Everything was absolutely amazing!!! Nothing was more than $14. How is that even possible?
If it’s your first time venturing to Vietnamese cuisine, don’t hesitate and head to Quang. Hope you get Vicky!
John Warbuck
I've been to Quang twice now. It's very busy, but your patience is rewarded with excellent food. The portions are very filling and the prices are good too. I enjoyed the atmosphere as well. This is one of my new go-to restaurants.
Ryan Huynh
Would give this 3 stars taking into account both the food and service.
-Five stars for food- have been going here since childhood. The bun bo hue / beef noodle dish is excellent.
-However 2 stars for service- most recently I had to ask five times for two additional cups of water for our table and then had to walk up to grab more utensils despite asking multiple people who walked by our table.
Sam Rowekamp
Took us a little while to get seated...seemingly only because they were incredibly busy. After tasting their beef pho, it was easy to see why. Great food, fast service for the situation, low prices. I'll be going back!
Zhou Fang
Portions are getting smaller every time I visit over the years. I get that prices are rising and you need to recoup the cost of renovations, but at least offer size tiered pricing so that customers can still choose to be full. I feel the food quality isn't as good as it used to be from a few years ago. It really isn't what it used to be.
Cadence Jebb
It's not bad, but it's not the best. It's more of an ambience than anything. There are many places in the twin cities that have better Pho as far as better broth and fresher basil/bean sprouts. Quang does generally have less gristle in their meat than other places. The service is just so slow. We understand that there's staffing issues and this place is usually hopping, but we've walked out twice from waiting 20 minutes before getting water and placing orders and then another 40 minutes before we leave because other tables have come and left in our wait. All the staff in the world wouldn't fix a bad process.
Adelaide Zibrowski
Their service isn’t what Americans expect, but I love it. They aren’t rude but they don’t waste time being too nice either which gets you your food quickly. The strawberry milk tea is sooooo good!
The bathrooms are really gross. I’ve never had issues with this place, but last time I did see them neglect the people at the take out window for over 30 minutes which ended with a man yelling and the employees not responding at all.
Paul
As a Vietnamese transplant in the Twin Cities, I believe this spot is the best overall Vietnamese restaurant in town - I come here when I’m feeling homesick and am craving a meal my mom would make at home. If you’re looking to explore Vietnamese food beyond pho and spring rolls (which are actually really good), come to this restaurant!
Marlee Mayo
Came in for the first time yesterday afternoon with some friends. I had the cream cheese wontons as an app, they were so good! And then the meatball pho, which was phenomenal. I also managed to get one of their huge chocolate chip cookies when I was paying and that did not disappoint! This place was great, our server was so friendly and helpful. I will be back!
Tony Nicklow
I'm not a fan of vietnamese food but my daughter absolutely loves this place. She is a huge fan of this place. She asked to go here all the time. Great atmosphere. The parking lot is small but they have street parking close by. Good prices. Friendly staff. They do take mobile payments so no need to bring your credit card. Defantntly recommend
Corey Jacobson
I recently visited Quang Restaurant and was blown away by the delicious wonton soup. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the wontons were perfectly cooked and filled with a delicious filling. I also really appreciated the friendly and attentive service I received during my visit. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Quang Restaurant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Vietnamese food.
Emma Steffenhagen
I have been coming here for as long as I can remember, so last 25 some years. While Quang’s has edited down their menu in recent years, their quality is still stellar. It reminds me of Vietnamese food I’ve had in Vietnam, from the small towns to the capital. They know how to do it right here. If you want authentic Vietnamese this is the place.
Lenny Bart
Wow, totally understaffed, but they handled it like Champs. We enjoyed our food with a very clean and simple decor. I must try the pho next time. Seemed very popular!
Kathleen Fetterly
I ordered this wonderful lettuce wrap entree with pork meatballs. They have a teriyaki flavor which is not too sweet. The lettuce wraps are a nice idea, but don’t function all too well. These noodles are super with the accompanying sauce, a light dressing. Everything is fresh! I ate the leftovers cold, super delicious! My friend likes to order shrimp pho, and we shared the tofu spring rolls, which are clear, rice paper rolls with a delicious peanut sauce. Just a few servers collaborate to make the restaurant flow well. Takeout seems chaotic, from our observation on a Saturday afternoon. Dine in service is great, attentive and safe. Delicious bubble tea, takeout sticky buns at register, traditional banana leaves stuffed with coconut rice also offered. Wonderful restaurant.
Rachel Ellis
Great place to introduce your cautious friends and family to vietnamese food. Good selection of standard dishes and something for everyone, from pho to crab rangoon. Nothing to complain about with the dishes, but nothing standout either. They were a little understaffed the last time I was there and we had to wait a while.
Tracy Johnson
Best Vietnamese food in the Twin Cities! Fast and efficient service. Good prices. I love this restaurant and even though I've moved out of Minneapolis, I still come back regularly to come here. Haven't found anywhere else that can beat their food.
Rebekkah Gross
Best egg rolls in the Twin Cities hands down. Chicken pho is delicately made with every bit of flavor you'd expect and then some.
Dine in is available: you order at the counter and receive a table number. A server brings the food to your table, all else is self serve like water, take out boxes etc. Take out is available like usual.
Carolyn Brownlie
Ordered via UberEats. Food arrived packaged perfectly, fresh and hot! I ordered the wonton soup, the shrimp noodle salad and pork eggrolls. All were delicious and made with quality ingredients. Highly recommend. Delicious and easy to also enjoy at home.
David Nelson
Stopped in for a quick bite on Saturday. Busy but our food came out quickly and the pho and banh mi sandwich was great!
Would definitely come back and try the expansive menu another time.
thierry pomies
Good Vietnamese restaurant with a large amount of tables and efficent service. I had the Angus beef and meatball pho, it certainly worked. We then had some springrolls and chicken wings to share. Solid spot, I'll be back.
Jason Dai
The food is so good 🤤 I been going here ever since I was a kid with my family. This place has the best Vietnamese coffee that I have ever had! …
Louie R.P.
Fast paced and exciting! The kids running the joint are some of the hardest workers I've seen. The place was hopping and they were moving. Service was a little slow as we sat there for over 10 minutes before water hit the table. No one came to take our order so after another 10ish minutes we decided to flag someone down. The pork egg rolls are amazing. They are super stuffed with ingredients and fried to a dark crispy perfection. Fried cream cheese wontons look flat but are filled with so much flavor. I had the beef Pho and it was good. Not the best but enjoyable. My friend had the ginger salmon and it was amazing. I had a little taste and wanted to switch. I'll definitely be getting that the next time I go.
Jeff Helseth
Legitimately one of my top 5 favorites in MSP. Some of the best egg rolls I have ever eaten. The pho is also amazing. Another good go to is the lemongrass chicken. Service speed is insanely fast. Would recommend to anyone!
RD
Quant was a very good restaurant to eat at. You walk in and you are immediately hit with a pungent smell that I credit to all the Vietnamese spices. The decor isn’t much and in general there isn’t anything real fancy about the restaurant. The spring roles are very good. I would definitely recommend getting them. There were seven people in our party and every single one of them loved their dishes including me. I will definitely come back if I’m ever in Minneapolis again.
Brittany Payntar
Over priced, I only say this because we eat Pho everywhere. Service was slow at first but she ended up picking up the place. No children's menu. And the boba is not frozen, it's just on ice. Food had great flavor. It was okay for our last meal in town.
Amber Patton
I've always loved Quangs! Prices have gone up some, but they've always delivered. I've never had a bad experience there and will continue going back.
Richard McConnell
I like the little things. Like they give you extra napkins right at the beginning of your order. Salmon Ginger salmon was great! Fast ordering and delightful service. Feel like feel like salmon go for it
k fritz
Super fast! Helpful people! Flavorful pho. Relatively authentic Vietnamese fare you can find in Minneapolis. Need to be back soon!

Atmosphere – 3.0 Stars
Overall Service – 3.0 Stars
Food taste – 4.5 Stars
Food presentation – 4 Stars
Pricing – $$ Reasonably priced
Great traditional Vietnam restaurant. Their appetizer was tasty and pho was outstanding. Combo pho was excellent and ribeye pho had a lot of beef. Service was ok because when we got there, there were a lot of customers already. Will definitely come back again
Mark Brady
Good fresh cooking, consistently good.
Neil Let's Just Leave It At Neil
Great beef salad (item 301), try it! Always a busy place and you'll see why. Really good food. Usually quick service and all the food my friends an I get always comes out promptly after ordering. More parking would be nice, but that's not the restaurant's fault.

The pork spring rolls are excellent!
Eric Xiong
Super great food & Service. We went at a prime time (high noon on Saturday) and had to wait to be seated because it was pretty busy!!The waiter was fast & food came out quick. We ordered pho & vermicelli salad with some spring rolls & chicken wings. Pho broth was bomb! The salad had just enough juice & it was fresh! Would definitely recommend for quick & tasty food!
Shawn Clifford
This place really has outdone themselves. They are recently remodeled and food is just the same - fantastic. This place will always be around, the food is hardy, light, refreshing and nutritious. The price is well acceptable for what they present to you.
Surabhi Singh
Nothing is better than Pho at Quang on a rainy, gloomy or cold evening here in Minnesota (which constitutes most days during the winter). My friends and I love this place for the simplicity of the food and their focus on vietnamese noodle soups.
We usually go for the eggrolls or the spring rolls, the 410 grilled marinated chicken with a side of rice, the 510 Chicken Pho, and the 509 Mi Kho.
TL;DR Bank for your buck, also, you can never go wrong with the Chicken Pho.
Ray Wu
Service was quick and friendly for Sunday brunch. The pho is perfect and one of the best bowls that I've had. Lemongrass chicken is juicy, tender and absolutely delicious.
Gabriella
Dine in experience has always been solid but every time I do takeout or delivery, the pho just isn’t as good. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Also they subbed the coconut bread for flan but it wasn’t flan? It wasn’t the right consistency. Not sure if it’s supposed to be this way but it was all melted and runny.
Highly recommend if you eat in store but it does not travel well, even if you reheat everything to the right temp.
Mitch Fitzgerald
Fantastic place to eat. Pork egg rolls are amazing and lots of delicious noodle soups.
Brian Reyes
Really good pho and banh mi. Go on Sundays for the crab and pork noodle soup special. Definitely try the chicken wings and the desserts they have by the cashier. Our server handled all of our requests super quick. If I'm ever back in MN, I'll definitely come back here to get my pho fix.
Clark Smith
Great food, parking was definitely a pain around lunchtime but that is to be expected in the city. I got the pho Thai and it was delicious! Service was a little slow at first because of how busy they are but if it weren't for that I would give them 5 stars for sure.
Jacob G
Amazing take out! I got the pho and it must have been some of the best I’ve ever had! Lots of food in the serving- like two meals each.
ha to leight
I stopped becasue i see people says they have the best Pho and Bun bo hue so we tried. My husband had Pho tai which i tried to taste, a little salty
I got Mi kho is ok but Bun Bo hue has nothing taste likes bun bo hue, beef cut seems belong to Bo kho not Bun bo hue
Minh Phung
The food here at Quang Restaurant is simply amazing and delicious. This place is very popular on Nicollet Ave, and gets really busy dinner time. I didn't get to try all of their milk teas, but the hazelnut milk tea is my favorite by far. It tastes like an iced coffee, but as a milk tea with pearls. The service was great, nothing to complain about. I highly recommend this place for take out, dine in, or a quick bite.
Make sure you at least get a milk tea with your meal, you won't regret it.
Nilesh Naik
It's a good place with good service. The food was nice and the menu also has a lot of options. They should add more vegetarian options as well.
Andrea Goldbaum
Pad Thai is amazing, spring rolls are standard okay, bahn nui go to Lu’s down the street. Meet in there is like stale and sad. Four stars on the pad Thai totally legit
Dai Lam
Coming from Illinois, we wanted to check out some Pho restaurants here and saw a bunch of reviews for Quang's. It didn't disappoint. Our waiter was great, the food was awesome and it was an overall pretty great experience.
Marisa Vang
Love the pho, steam buns (bun bao), banh mi, tri-color and egg rolls. I would only go after 5 pm because parking is limited. After 5 pm, you can park in the Dental office's parking lot.
David Speidel
Great and delicious food. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless and clean. I can't wait to come here again.
Basik Vids
This place is always crowded on weekends and during lunch hour. I dont really care for the new seating arrangements as you are forced to sit very close to strangers and even share the condiments basket with the table next to you, it can be a bit uncomfortable if you like a little privacy at restaurants like a tall booth...that being said, the food is great! I love the beef and meatball pho soup, omg its the best in town. My kids love the egg rolls, the wife loves the seafood pho and the caramelized shrimp. Other favorites here are the mango green tea bubble tea, the iced coffee and for sure the shrimp spring rolls served with peanut sauce. We visit this place at least once a month.
W Soloman
Wow simply delicious! Got an order of the salmon and rice which was flavorful tender definitely a must. I Also got a mango ice tea to wash it all down!
Kristin Hockert
I’m usually never excited to fried egg roll but THESE WERE THE BEST EVER!! Best Pho I’ve ever had. Best Bao!! So yummy, so sweet with just the right amount of everything. Ordering online and pick up was easy. Thank you for a great dinner. WE WILL BE BACK!! Xoxo
Drew Moss
Honestly one of the best bowls of Pho I've had across the nation! We travel frequently and always find a nice Pho place to eat, and this one was something special. The broth had great depth and the noodle to meat to broth ratio was PERFECTION. We also went with the shrimp and pork spring roll that was fresh and tasty! The peanut sauce that accompanied it was thick, umami and absolutely scrumptious! The service was quick, efficient, and very friendly! I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone that enjoys Vietnamese food!
CEO SkyOps
Food is awesome. You can taste that the owners truly love to serve good food versus good decor. I'll take good food over decor any day. The atmosphere is casual, you can be yourself with a crowd of ppl and still feel at home here.
Anil J. Reddy
I really do like the flaky crust of the egg rolls, and Quang's has the usual Vietnamese staples: pho and noodle salads with plenty of meat options. The lemongrass chicken is too sweet for me, though. Quang's is comfort food for many a resident of the Twin Cities, and if you haven't been, you should definitely see what the hubbub is about. But honestly, the food is nothing especially unique and no ambiance whatsoever. Make it part of your takeout rotation, for sure, but not really worth going for table service unless you're already in the neighborhood for other reasons.
Canh Tran
My favorite restaurant to go to of all time outside of California and Vietnam. I think it is the best place you can get authentic Vietnamese food in Minnesota. It is always busy for a reason and almost all the dishes we ever got there was excellent. The Hu Tieu is phenomenal and the egg rolls are great. It’s hard to get good egg rolls anywhere for some reason at most places.
richklickman
Was great food and very kind service regardless of how busy they were (which is telling of how good they are). The food was great and I even went there twice during the weekend I was in town because I enjoyed it so much.
P Ehrlich
The food was delicious and our three grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the food and the fun drinks.
Megan Matthew
I've been to Quang's a couple times. It's always been crowded no matter the time, but the food is worth the wait.
I got number 508 and the broth was incredibly flavorful and the shrimp/dumplings were cooked perfectly.
I also tried their Vietnamese coffee and ended up ordering a second to go. Not too sweet.
I've also gotten their pho to go, they separate the broth from the meat/veggies that go inside. Tasted just as good!
Chase Nelson
I've heard a lot of talk about Quang so I was excited to try it. Really good prices on great dishes. Huge eating area with a lot of light. No complaints here, I'd try it out if you're in the area.
D M
Not the same as it used to be. Portions were much smaller, flavor wasn't quite as good. Service was still super friendly, just slow. Got our order wrong, too.
Kai Shaw
absolutely amazing! love the ambiance, love the food 😋 just spectacular! plus, even when it's full, wait times are really short
Ashley Brooke
This place lived up to the hype I've been hearing about it. I got the chicken pho and was blown away by how savory the broth was. The place was packed when we arrived and yet our food still came out amazingly fast. Kudos to them!!
Josh Greenplate
Very good pho. At this point the area feels pretty unsafe so my family no longer eats here.
Chase Magnuson
Awesome food. Left my wallet with a fair amount of cash in it and they returned it to me, great service!
Nvrfearjoishere
When you first walk in you may be tempted to turn around, but don't let looks deceive you. They have some of the best pho I've ever had. Most places serve you watered down cilantro water, but the depth in the pho broth was amazing. I ordered the rib eye pho and it was so full of flavor I actually moaned out loud when I took my first bite. Authentic flavor with a friendly staff and prices you can't beat. I would visit again if I come back to Minneapolis.
Eric Pan
Generally okay, but for vegetarian bahn mi it's too plain, so does other bahn mi.

Been going here with my family for over 20 years, love this place and the ppl who work here. I now bring my kids here. Highly recommend giving it a try if you want some good authentic Vietnam food
Nicole Petersen
Amazing food and service, went on a Sunday lunch and it took a while to get the table but worth the wait. The bubble tea and pho are great, the Chinese bun was way to big for me and food came out slow even with the heavy tables it seemed slow. Would happily go again.
Wendy Jo
Fantastic pho and banh bao. Service was great.
Chanthy And Tina Taem
I love Quang Restaurant Always coming back for more Awesome Vietnamese food to try and it's so Good and I love their milk teas and desserts. Recommended for anyone who loves Vietnamese food!
JIA JIAN TIN
Good service and great options for food. Their springs rolls are very good. Pho was great too. There are a few options in the area and Quang is definitrly the best.
Only complain is parking can be limited.
Travel Reviews
This is an extremely popular local Vietnamese restaurant. Had a lunch there recently and it was crowded and they appeared to be a little short-staffed with servers, however they made it work and the food was exceptional. If you want to rate a restaurant by how popular it is on doordash I can tell you that the entire 45 minutes I sat at lunch there was a line of door dash drivers picking up food. You will never go wrong ordering their pad thai or their pork spring rolls (#101 Goi Cuon) which have a very unique light but crunchy crust.
Ryo Flying
A variety of great Vietnamese food at reasonable price. It is a popular place and gets busy during prime hours.
Maret Noukki
This place is always bustling, the food is delicious & fresh, the staff are friendly & tentative, the service is efficient & fast.
Luis Torrealba
This place is a must for my friends and I on Sundays for brunch. Place is always packed but wait has never been longer than 10 minutes. Their sliced beef pho, spring rolls and bubble tea are amazing!
Josiah Knisely
It's my parents'favorite when they're in town. I live very close by and it's a great hot takeout spot.
Jennifer Slaugh
Quang's is somehow both trendy and an old neighborhood standby. Good fast service and the food is excellent authentic Vietnamese. The spring rolls are amazing and the veggie dumplings are my favorite dumplings in the twin cities area.
Erik McGuire
Great food! Had a banh mi thit and egg rolls… great stuff!
Sarah O
I cheated on Quang once with Rainbow and I regretted every flavorless second. Quang's has the best eats on eat street!
Edgar Alfonzo
Authentic Vietnamese Food as its Best!!
Tiffany Cheng
always a good time when I come here, absolutely love the food here and I always try to get different types of food when I come here! try to come before the dinner peak times to avoid line ups
sooyoung Kwon
We visited on Sunday evening. The place is so packed so I have high expectations of food. Food was too salty so I have to request two cups of hot water to mild my salty noodle soup.
Biljana
My favorite place, great PHO and spring rolls.Always a lot of people inside.Good service, decent price and fresh tasty food.
Corey
I get this delivered all the time, I’m obsessed to say the least. There are so many great Vietnamese restaurants and this is definitely one of them!
Juliana Ramzy
I highly recommend their pork eggrolls, cream cheese wonton, and #309 on the menu! Very delicious and filling!
brian graff
I use to live here in lovely Minny and Quang was always my go to. IMO, there’s something special about their Bahn Mi and Iced Coffee. They actually grill their meat so you get a lovely little char that really adds to the overall flavor profile beautifully.
I moved to FL about a year ago and come back every year for family, but no matter where I am in the Twin Cities, I always make it a priority to get my Quang.
Minneapolis, consider yourself immensely blessed as I can assure you back in the part of Florida I’m in (Ft Myers) though I have numerous Vietnamese choices, everything I’ve had back in FL is considerably substandard in comparison to Quang.
Truly, for me, they set the standard for what good Vietnamese food should be.
Vanessa Agudo Hvidsten
Best pho in the Twin Cities! Service was great.
Mae Bangtan
I ordered doordash from here. Got the the pho, bahn mi, bun bo hue. Very delicious!
Breanna Lien
I got the Pho Thap Cam, and it was fantastic. Everything was cooked properly, the flavor was delicious, and it was so filling. Also pictured is the sausage and egg bao, which was so soft and fresh.

Quang has been my favorite Vietnamese restaurant for more than two decades. Their food is consistently delicious, well-priced and you get a perfect amount to fill you up. My personal favorites are: 508 or 310 with a 104 or 103, and a bubble-tea.
The service is usually top-notch and you get your food quickly. Like any restaurant, it does get busy on weekends and parking in the small lots adjacent to the restaurant can be frustrating.
Once you're in though, the atmosphere is really pleasant. A few years back the restaurant took time to do some remodel work and it has paid off significantly. The shredded cloth benches that once took up much of the room have been replaced with well-polished wood ones. The ceiling is no longer a drop-down mess. It has been converted into an exposed beam concept with hanging lights that create a warm, welcoming vibe.
Finally, I love that it's a family-owned business. There aren't a lot of mom-and-pop places that make it, which is why I'm so happy Quang's has and I hope people continue to support this one-of-a-kind treasure on Nicollet Avenue.
TLDR: Well-priced, delicious Vietnamese food. Best Viet food in Minnesota.
Ian Frye
This is a wonderful comfort food place to visit. It's not pretentious and it doesn't make a big deal of itself, but it doesn't have to because the food is just lovely on its own. It can get a little crowded during meal rushes, but it doesn't seem to feel squashed so much as pleasantly bustling. It's a lovely exploration of basic but well-executed cooking that (in my opinion) will almost definitely leave you wanting to come back for a follow up visit.
M M
Awesome pho!!! A bit pricey for the bowl size but very good! I
Sean Lawrence
I've had some really good and some mediocre dishes from Quang. I tend to find their soups tasty but inconsistent. Sometimes the veggies aren't the best quality, and once it seemed like they used canned mushrooms or otherwise prepared them in a way that made them slimy.
Katie Mugge
I’ve been coming here for over a decade and have moved to many places over that time frame and I have yet to find a place that remotely compares to Quang. The food is outstanding and it will always be a “must-have” when I’m back in the cities!
JoelnTammy B
They say online they're closed but you call and the voice mail says they are actually open 11.30 - 8. I drove there last week and they were locked up entirely in the middle of the day during lunch hours.
Nicolas Castro Pinto
Delicious food. The house special is the Pho, you should definitely try it.
D M
Second visit - service was perfect! (Not "too much or to little". The food was phenomenal. First time.ever having tried Pho, and won't be my last! A great place!

We arrived at Quang on a busy Saturday afternoon and were able to get a table, but the restaurant filled up quickly.
We ordered Com Ga Nuang (410), the chicken was tender and flavorful. Pho Tai (505), the pho was delicious and filling.
And I ordered the Com Rau Xao (409), and I have been looking for years for the flavor of this sauce, the menu said it's sweet soy sauce and I want more! The vegetables in everything were fresh, and so perfectly cooked that they took in the flavor of the sauce or pho while also being a satisfying crunch. I loved the bok choy in the Com Rau Xao, the broccoli was delicious but I could get even more of the sweet soy sauce between the tender baby bok choy leaves. Each meat in each dish felt separately treated, specific to the dish and its sauce or broth.
This restaurant was recommended to me and having eaten there I wholeheartedly recommend going because I'm definitely returning to see if future visits are just as scrumptious!
D Lopez
It used to be good.
Food is still good but everything else has gone down.
Ana
Best deal around $6 for a grilled pork banh mi, and it’s delicious! Chewy but soft bread, perfect amount of veggies and meat.
Jose Figueroa
Awesome food and the staff is friendly, our kids love the pho
Markeda V.
The food was so good! Definitely coming back to try more of this food.
Abe Mwangala
It was good but wish there was more on the lunch menu
Cathlene Dollar
This place has been here forever and the quality has never slipped. Must-eat if you're in Minneapolis, or new to the city's "eat-street".
christina marie Johnson
Great service, large menu, after ordering our food came out very quickly. Our server was awesome. I get the meatless Pho, tofu fresh spring rolls and the raspberry tea. That's my go to order! MUCH better when you eat at the restaurant but you can also order for delivery.
amantastic
Got delivery from door dash. The pork egg rolls with fish sauce are sublime. So delicious that I would go back just for them. We also enjoyed the pho and lemongrass chicken. Very flavorful pho! Lemongrass chicken was also delish!! Will definitely be enjoying food from here in the future!!!
Mackenzie Doyle
amazing food, service, and quality. One of the best restaurants in minneapolis
Debb Kiato
This is my addiction. I've tried other Pho places, nothing compares. I probably order twice a week. They need a punch card for free Pho.
Madison Foerderer
Quang is a classic. If you live in the Twin Cities, you have to go here. I love how many options there are for vegetarians. My absolute favorite cream cheese wantons are here! Great food.
Lily Bartlett
Amazing food! Place was packed but they still searved us in a timely manner!
Ariel Nystrom
Quang is a MN staple. The food is good, table service is fine, overall it is a fun spot.
Scott Wozniak
The food here was delicious. The restaurant was very busy, but the service was not bad. The waiter provided recommendations that were very good. We got a soup, a noodle salad, and a couple of appetizers. All excellent and served quickly and efficiently.
mark hodder
Quang's has had some updates and is looking pretty fresh... it is still great!
All the food we ordered was great, and the portions were generous. We will be back
Our go-to place for Pho.
Elizabeth Newmaster
Five Stars all around! Their food is so flavorful
S L
+5 stars for the food and service. Their place has good vibes. Always good food here. Get the sausage spring rolls... Idk why It's hard to find these around town given that they're so delicious.
Their pho is good. But you'll have to ask for typical condiments like fish sauce and chili oil. Their tendons are bomb! Very soft.
Their rice platters are like every other Vietnamese restaurants, imo.
The bun bo hue is actually pretty good.
Brian Meissner
Take out was perfect, from service to packaging to the unbelievable deliciousness.
YC “Claire” L
The pho was sooooo good. This def satisfied my craving for pho. I got the spicy beef and pork hock. It was super good.
Lori Simpson
The food was all amazing. The pad thai was so good. My son said it was the best pho he has ever had. Staff was very friendly.
Edward Ji
Delicious food! Best egg rolls I’ve ever had! Tip: get the gluten free ones for extra crispy! Only reason it wasn’t 5 star is because sometimes they’re so busy, it’s tough for the servers to keep up. I’ve been forgotten multiple times. But I keep coming back haha!
Jim Yang
One of the best Vietnamese pho restaurant you can find! Service can sometimes be slow, but that's because it's too busy and great food in the process!
Edit:
Every time I've been here, they always say that their chicken wings are out, which I find it hard to believe because I always see people eating it.. and this time before I made the order, I literally just saw a server bring out wings to a customer. It may be that I always have bad luck with this place or that they just don't want to serve it. Our server was also rude when I asked if they are really out of wings, she looked elsewhere and saw others eating it. I think it doesn't hurt to ask in the back. Pho are still good though!
5s 1s
It was decent, but not the best today. But, service was friendly from one of the guys. Our actual server hardly came by. Disappointed today.
Natalie K.
The food was good as always, the waitress forgot what we ordered but was very quick to come back and ask us just to make sure before we got the order itself. Great customer service.
Veronica Williams
Best pho ga I’ve had in the twin cities their broth is amazing I’ve only ever order online from them service on their end is always amazing I heard about them while I was door dashing(being a dasher it smelled so good and they were busy w door dash orders I had to check it out myself) w wish I would’ve known sooner how good they were their wontons are amazing I can’t wait to try their bun Bo hue 😍
Sebastian
The place is nice and very open. They have some very good spring rolls BTW, and a great selection of pho. Gotta say the menu has quite the selection, and really brings out that flavor from traditional Vietnames foods are known for.
Alisha Gelhar
I haven’t found a better pho anywhere!
EM
This was my family's weekend "treat" after a visit to the MIA for years after they first opened. SO glad that they are still here for our visits back to the Twin Cities. We've watched some of the family owners grow up - and the ethos of welcome and care for the community still pervades the place.
You'll see everyone at Quang, from every walk of life and corners. Always treated well, even with fussy toddler and persnickety granny.
Pho ON!
Maeve Do Duong
Customer Service: 4/5 exceptional good. We got our foods but we waited for 5 minutes and we didn’t get our utensils. I know it’s busy but every time the waiters walk by they didn’t pay attention. So I have to walk myself up to the front to ask for chopsticks.
Foods: 5/5 great.
Been here before but not very happy with the service today.
Jahaziel Gavilan
Great food always recommend takeout as they are always busy, the waiters are understaffed and running around but they still try their best to be helpful and nice. The front counter people always seem to be in a bad mood never expect a simple Hello from them. Service is quick for takeout but if you dine in better be ready to wait.
Stephanie Ye
I’ve had combo pho and the beef+egg roll noodle salad, both very delicious and decently priced. Bahn mi here is very good too!
Parking is a little cramped sometimes and the tables are sticky at the top. Also came for dinner on a Sunday once and pretty much every table had dirty bowls on it, kinda shocked by that but it’s probably just because they didn’t have enough staff
Vee Lee
Consistent, delicious food, fair prices and some awesome drinks. Picking up take-out is fast and easy, and they have on-site parking. Will always come back.
Margarita Kachula
The best pho in Minnesota! Yes it is located in a not so convenient location but it is really worth it!
Ketra Martinez
The food was do good! The restaurant was super busy and super packed
Reda B.
Top Vietnamese restaurant. The pho is tasty, no need to add sauces or spices...the service is so fast !
Lauren Riggs
Best egg roll noodle salad! Have to be honest, I’ve only tried bites of other dishes because I only ever order the same thing. But everything I’ve tried is good. Great for take out or dining in.
Mike T
The food is nice. The draft from the delivery-service kiosk can make it really windy and/or chilly.
Forrest Rhoads
Pretty good Vietnamese food, although I personally prefer Que Viet. My wife and I had the salmon... which was good, but not spectacular... my daughter and her friend had pho, which they said was fine. Good, not great. But very inexpensive.
Mary Beth Pottratz
Good Vietnamese food! But limited menu when i went. Pho came without herbs, sprouts, hoisin, stiracha and only 1 choice with meatballs. No sauce with egg rolls. Only one choice of Bahn mi but still good. Excellent Bahn bao with deliciously flavored meat and egg. Several steps down from parking lot to entrance but you might be able to go around. Fast service.
Mitch Pucik
I ordered last night for delivery.
It was fresh, it got here fast , and it tasted so good.
I had some sort of shrimp and beef with rice noodles, also contained these fresh crispy greens on the side with basil and mint.. and all these great sauces , everything tasted so good
What I was most impressed with though, was the freshness of everything.
Also their egg rolls were phenomenal, perfectly burnt crispy outer shell, delicious sauce for dipping.
I don't ever review restaurants I was just so blown away... do yourself a favor and order from here.
Todd Bakken
Solid choice for Pho. They changed their menu removing many options from the last time I was there (circa fall of 2020). Taste was as good as always. Service was only ok even though the restaurant was only half full.
James Wallin
Service was great. It was pretty busy when we got there and we were seated right away. Once seated, our server came to the table within two minutes and was ready to take our order. Our appetizer came out within roughly two minutes. I mean these people aren't messing around. Our main course was out about five minutes after that. Everything was hot and delicious. Great atmosphere. There's people cleaning nonstop. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend! Cheers!
Jo
1st time here today and I absolutely loved the chicken Pho and the Iced Thai Bubble Tea. Amazing food and our server was very helpful with our menu questions and he was super nice. I will most definitely come here again! Loved It!! 💜💙💚 …
Sheryl Renee
We eat/get takeout so often we should have just invested in the restaurant. They are consistent, have nice sized portions, and are very reasonably priced. The best part however is the FOOD! The Pho, the salads, everything is so delicious. We just keep coming back!
Mysnikol Miller
Order the Com Chay for takeout. It was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back!
Oliver Barbeau
So good. They have so much space to serve so many people. I love the pho, how can you not. Take the time to explore the rest of their menu, the sandwiches are amazing too.
Cocoa Meza-Gardner
Me and my mom have been going here for years. We love the food, the Pho is our favorite. Our favorite appetizer is the fried yams and shrimp. This restaurant is great if you want a warm meal on a cold winter day!
Gianni Quilici
Great food! Fast and friendly service. Our usual order includes a vermicelli salad with beef and shrimp, a lemongrass chicken, a pad Thai, and some sesame balls for dessert. Don’t leave without trying the sesame balls!!
Shubham Singh
I got the combo pho and the Vietnamese coffee w/ condensed milk. The pho portions were generous for the price.the coffee was great too! I would definitely recommend dining in though. Their take out isn’t nearly as good.
Jordy Bomberg
I ate at QUANG three times last months. I’m going again tonight!
Joe Reyes
Amazing service, delicious food at an affordable price. I will be back.
Nancy Stinson
Best Vietnamese food I have found so far I think I'm going to quit looking too
christina noren
Good quick service. Amount of food is great for the price. Egg rolls and cheese puffs were hot and flavorful. Lemongrass chicken is always on point. Seared salmon had great flavor. Pho was HOT and steaming. Good cinnamon and little bit of sweet flavor. Definitely recommend
Cortney Jones
Ordered take-out. In past pho has been best in city, but today’s was off and not good. Noodles came over cooked and fell apart once put in broth. Broth flavor had little depth and tasted very off from norm. No hoisin or sirachi sauce was included as usual, not were the normal herb additions. If this were my first time trying quangs, I would not be ordering from them again... as it is I’ll probably give them another try to see if this is an off day. Very disappointed.
Carlos Figari
Do not do takeout it seems. They are fully open for indoor dining. they have a small patio outside to the side for eating outside if thats more comfortable. pho and rice noodle platters are their best items. prices have gone up since remodeling but they're not too bad. parking is open.
Caitlin Marco
The best place for Pho in Minnesota, maybe the Midwest. Service was unbelievable and the food was second to none. This spot is such a gem.
Niles Webster
My favorite out of many great Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The sea bass soup on the weekend menu is so good.
J.A.H.F
Relaxation, high quality food, and humble customer service are just some of the things to expect when walking into this establishment. Compared to other restaurants, I'd have to say that Quang Restaurant has some of the best tasting wontons in Minnesota Hands down! I would like to thank Thao (my server) for greeting my table with a smile despite having to perform countless additional tasks. I'd highly recommend dining here for the ethnic cuisine and an enjoyable day out!
Mckayla Lee
Good Phở and great bubble tea. Their egg rolls are my personal favorite in the Minneapolis are too. Sadly not my favorite as far as atmosphere goes, but the employees are nice and respectful.
Shane Whittet
Gluten free and dairy free. Excellent spicy beef noodles (mild)!
Veruca Salt
Delicious food and great service like always
John LaPres
This place is great. Menu is large and everything we had was great. Our server was so nice and very helpful. Place is clean and food was decently fast. There’s a lot of good stuff here highly recommend
Pang S
Amazing food so delicious I always look forward to it, regardless of how busy it is. The lines may look long but don’t let it fool you, staff are very quick at their service and turn tables around quick. It’s worth the wait. Also the food is authentic and they have the best sausage spring rolls I’ve ever had, can’t get enough of them! The price is also very reasonable for an amazing meal. I always take guests to eat here to impress.
Angela Cao
Quang's is a great Vietnamese restaurant, they're food is good and they have a wide selection to choose from, but it's so crowded now that I would rather go to other equally great restaurants. I know they can't control it but I swear some people think Quang's is the only place in existence for Vietnamese food. Will go here occasionally but it's not my go-to. Who knows, maybe the pandemic helped with the crowd control.
Mary Ahern
Wow! They remodeled AND the food quality remained top notch: fresh ingredients & a good variety of meat, seafood & vegetarian dishes were presented beautifully. Try the pho, of course.
Mehmet Hoops
I had not been to Quang since moving away in 2008. I'm happy to say that it is as good, if not better than ever.
Huashoua Thao
Loved their service! The food also came out fast and I was really satisfied how tasty the food were. I got #503 pho, and some spring rolls- both were delicious and I thought they had a good portion off all ingredients! At the cash register, they also sell these HUGE steam buns and they are also delicious to eat when you are in a hurry. I would say, they are one of the best steam buns out there! Their banana bread was also moist and yummy as well!
Vicki Hagen
Fantastic food! The Pho broth is unbelievably delicious. Best I've ever had. Service was exceptional. I will return, with friends, and enjoy the experience again.
Christopher Nguyen
An absolute staple of Vietnamese cuisine in the twin cities. Hipster crowds get thick on the weekends and for good reasons. THe food is solid and the service has never disappointed me. Definitely recommend.
Ross Perleberg
I've been here a lot in the past (before pandemic) but the Pho this time was just so salty. Service is patchy and its obviously a very popular place. I like the updated look but I can't get over the Pho which is their signature dish.
Emmanuel Rivera
First and maybe last time dinning at this place. I had #511 the beef had a strong flavor more like goat meat and the meat was not so tender fiber like texture. Other thing they add 20% tip to the bill.
Harry Edstrom
Ordered Pho Ga (chicken pho) for delivery. Delivery packaging was sturdy and thoughtful. I like how they kept the noodles separate from the sprouts, basil, jalapeños etc. The sliced beef comes raw, be sure to nuke the beef in the ol’ Food Computer for a couple mins so you don’t make a bad mud pie later on.
Chicken was a bit on the tougher side, but I have floss. Generous portion, but it comes in its own little plastic cup (not edible) so you can easily save leftovers. Did I mention the plastic is not good to eat.
Good place, great folks, great mems. Looking fwd to my leftovers.
Also I have COVID-19 so I couldn’t taste anything.
Chase Vineland
Last year this review would have been 4 stars for great food at a great value. Quang’s has always been an awesome place to eat but the customer service was always lacking. They amped up their customer service and improved the front lobby area... now it’s a solid 5 star. Will keep coming back and recommending to everyone I know.
PS. Tina is an awesome server.
Dani Marzano
My favorite Vietnamese place. They're willing to omit the cilantro from their spring rolls for me due to an allergy which is nice. The lady at the front desk is kind of snarky and mean but she works there ALL THE TIME and I would be too. I still get fast service.
Lately though, their pork broth for their hue tieu soups has changed a little. It's not as good but I'll still keep going back.
kinderhood
They are awesome. Phō was So good. I had enough to take some home. The place is very quick and the people are very helpful.
Fawn YoungBear-Tibbetts
Really great pho great service and friendly environment
Santos Mejia
This place is always busy, no wonder why. The food is just amazingly good. The food options and the menu items are just right. The flavor and the taste of everything, just takes you Vietnam without moving from the twin cities. I will recommend that if you have a lot of time of spare when it comes to eat here since is always busy.
Jen Hustedt
So good that my boyfriend choked a little chugging it too hard. Only con is the straw breaks when you use too much suction. Lol
D'Angela Hester
Some of the best Pad Thai ever! Food is always hot n fresh. Staff are all so cool and kind! There aren't many places left that care about the food and service! Check 'em out the menu is bomb y'all! They are even practicing social distancing with a small outside area available!
Vee L
Loved the pork and shrimp egg noodle soup. my friends ordered other bowls at this restaurant and i was amazjngly shopped. every bowl had its own broth. The only bad thing is the wait time to order your food after being seated takes awhile but the food comes out fast. We got ours in less than 5 minutes most. def. recommend this if your into broth noodle soups
Daniel Knutson
Good food selection, decent parking and generous portions. The main downsides are poorly labeled street parking when the lot is full and the crowded dining area. Three of us went for pho and left very pleased with our meals. The beer selection was a little lacking, too, but it paired well with our meal so it worked out nicely. Overall a solid dining choice!
Benjamin Schuster
Get the 504 pho, pork banh mi, or the caramelized lemongrass chicken. You really can’t go wrong here. Super delicious!
Joey Papan
Current setup isn't ideal for ordering for dine-in, but you can't hold covid and a busy Sunday against them. Food portions are ample and delicious, some of the best fried dumplings I've had in ages. Had the "Curry Bahn Mi" off the weekend menu, and that was beyond words. Instantly a favorite dish in the city for me, especially at the price. Can't speak for the pho, but it looked very good, too.
liyah Chan
Some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve had. The pho is very fresh and one the best I’ve ever tasted. The wontons were impeccable and the milk teas were Delicious
Eli Curran-Moore
One of the best Pho places in the cities.
Ya'qub Al-Mnsawti
Lots of wypipo. Staff is nice but there was young lady behind the counter who seemed like she couldn't be bothered to help her coworkers out. The atmosphere is fine. The menu is, you know, vietnamese. Drinks are more impressive than the food. Lots of uppity Scandinavians desperately trying to be cultured.
Don MacLeod
Absolute favorite Vietnamese restaurant. First time I went in 10-20 years ago, I was the only non-Vietnamese in the place. Now it is packed almost all the time every hour of the day. It should be. The food is excellent. My favorite and I can no longer veer from, is the noodle salads. You are in for a treat with these. I am vegan and there is no problem being accommodated here. Just tell them and they know what that means. Lots of good food for the carnivores as well. My friends that I take there to consume dead animals always say they cook them very well and they are tasty indeed.
GO HERE. Your mouth will be very, very happy. Take your friends too, they will like you better after you go here with them.
Aryanna Eusebio
Yummmmm!!!! Food was delicious and waitress was amazing. We will definitely come back 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 …
Michael Aasen
If you like Vietnamese food and haven't yet been here, go! The soups are all fantastic. Great flavor, plenty to eat and reasonably priced. The spring rolls are awesome too!
Isabella Bridges
Came here once with a limited time schedule, I was impressed with how fast the service was. Good price, filling, delicious!
Lisa Filzen
I’ve been here several times with my husband. Very busy place but you are seated quickly. We usually get beef pho and spring rolls. They are very fresh and tasty. The restaurant is always busy but their service is quick and efficient.
a
I ordered the vermicelli noodle salad with grilled chicken and an egg roll , my mother and I split an order of egg rolls . She ordered the broken rice platter with beef . Overall it was very delicious . The skin of the eggroll was crispy , the filling was flavorful and well seasoned . The fish sauce was not too fishy or spicy . The chicken in my dish was perfectly grilled and not to Smokey. The veggies were fresh and had a good bite to them. Noodles not overly soft nor firm , good texture . I had a bite of my moms beef and could taste lemongrass . Very good . Glad we came and will for sure come again.
Emileigh Stoll
Sliced Beef and Meatball pho is the best in the city. Quang's is a warm hug in a bowl, and hits the spot every time! ❤
Heather K
This place has alway been one of my favorites. Service has declined immensely after the pandemic, which is to be expected of course. Food is still tasty as ever. Get the ribeye pho!
Brian Curry
Amazing food. Very popular place that seems to be busy all the time. I can not stress how good the food is. I had pho, and it was brilliant. We also had pork egg rolls, and they were crispy on the outside and packed with food on the inside. I'll be going to this place again!!
Malaika M
I was impressed by this place! It was my first time there so I thought that they place had a New York vine with the close seating arrangements. But it turns out that they are remodeling half of the dining room, so the tables and places SUPER close to one another in the open half.
Anyways after getting over that, I fell in love with their egg rolls. They are most definitely the best ones I’ve had!! Their pad Thai was great also and the pho is what makes them famous. All around good food, good service- even if it was all in a tight space.
Merilee Forseth
Excellent food and service. Fair prices...very clean and upscale
Alfred Walking Bull
Delightful menu, legendary pho and a nice renovation! Try 402 if you're starving.
John Wagner
Love that #401! My go to! Great staff! Hard working!
Tiffany Leadley
The ribeye pho was phenomenal. The eggrolls were delicious and so were the wontons. 10/10 would recommend
Melisa Samuelson-Strand
The Pho was simply divine. Deep rich broth and so generous with the veggies. I literally have not stopped thinking of this Pho since having it a few weeks ago.
The restaurant is large and comfortable. We visited during a very busy lunch hour but our service was prompt and attentive.
Beth Robin
One of the best pho places I've found in Minneapolis. They offer takeout now (I've dined both indoors and at their outdoor seating before COVID) and their takeout boxing is great. The containers are good quality, and the cold and warm food is separated nicely. Plus, it's completely reasonable pricing! Great place.
Linda Brown
Quang is one of my go to places when I crave Vietnamese food. The portions are good and the prices are very reasonable. I always have enough food left to bring home for another meal. I am partial to the soups, they are satisfying and perfectly seasoned. Not being a fan of spicy or hot food, I am glad to find a place where I know I have options. For those who like the heat and spice, there are numerous selections. Some hours are very busy, but the wait is generally not to long. Service is friendly and helpful, the servers hustle around the restaurant like they are wound up. I get the feeling like the word is keep moving or else.

Some of the best pho I've had. If you're vegetarian, I honestly enjoyed number 512 (pictured) better than the meat pho. Great for cheap, delicious food, and if you're not too hungry, there's plenty left over for lunch the next day. It gets really busy, so be prepared for a wait on busy nights.
Jennifer Sopsic
Simply the best pho you will find in the state of Minnesota. Quang is right on ‘Eat Street’ aka Nicollet in Mpls and is very busy at peak times. Getting your pho to go is always an option as they prepare a beautiful platter of vegetables to add to your broth. Keep in mind they are closed on Tuesday.

Quang has been my favorite spot for soup for about a decade now. It's still perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly salted.
Their Pad Thai is excellent, as are the spring rolls, rices, salads, bahn mi, giant chocolate chip cookies, and coconut cake. Did I mention bubble tea? Because that's also delicious.
The staff are efficient, kind, speedy, and polite and the restaurant is large and has great plants and natural light. Also outdoor seating during warmer months.
Only thing even semi negative I could say is that it's often packed with people because the food is so good, and if you don't get there early the baked goods will be sold out!
Love, love, Quang!
Rick Logan
Amazing Vietnamese cuisine. The egg rolls are the best that I've ever had. I always order number 509 which is a egg noodles soup with a meat sauce, broth, and has shrimp, meatballs, and some other delicious sliced meat. Great bubble tea. Fast service! My wife has been coming here for over 20 years and says the quality is as consistent as it has always been. Definitely a top recommendation!
Viri Vega
Very great quality and quantity of food and overall great service! My fiance and I go every time we can and we are always pleased with our food. The spring rolls and the egg rolls are great along with their dipping sauce, one of our favorite appetizers
Crystal Phan
I just get out few minutes. This is second times I eat here. Food is good. Today I ordered pho but it isn’t really hot. And when i buy something at checkout place. I don’t like the person who service right there. This person is girl. CHECK YOUR FOOD AND YOUR SERVICE AGAIN IF YOU DON’T WANT LOST YOUR COSTUMER! 4:47 pm Sat.
Richard D. Selchow
Quangs is consistently delivers some of the best Pho in the cities. Never ceases to be both reliably delicious and packed with customers.
Megan Porath
My boyfriend and I ordered Pho and spring rolls via Doordash. The food was spectacular, some of the best Pho I’ve had ever. The spring rolls were delicious, the peanut sauce was the perfect pairing. I really loved preparing my own beef for my soup. Very very happy with what we received
Vanessa Whitehead
I live in Saint Paul and have dinned at some of the most popular Vietnamese Restaurants in the Twin Cities. Quang has some of the most tastiest food I've tasted in quite sometime. The food is Fantastic and the service is Outstanding! I'll see you soon!😊🙃🙂 …
Jo Gullekson
Some places in the twin cities haven’t missed a beat during this Covid thing and Quangs is one of those restaurants. We drive from Golden Valley to pick up food that is totally awesome! Our latest snack that we picked up were egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls. These are so very delicious! Really, anything on their menu won’t disappoint you. We’ve enjoyed coming to you for years and will continue. Thank you for all that you guys do! We appreciate you 😊
Trung Nguyen
Not for hipsters who are needed. The food is the closest to authentic. If you want a hipster (not even close) like Quang go there. Pho Tau Bay is more authentic and tasty!
Michael Gauer
Great food. They do not wait to bring all food to your table at once. When one person's food is ready, they get it. So just know that
Anthony Holloman
The service was great - no issues. I ordered chicken pho and it was amazing without condiments added. I'll definitely revisit for pho again. The only thing I would change is the old cups. Some of them are new while the others are older and it reflects in the taste of the beverage.
Kirsten Olson
Still love this place. Amazingly fast, friendly but noncommittal waitstaff, and a good menu of foods. We always hit it up before performances at children's theater. Had a great meal with a side of bubble tea.
Nick Lawson
A Vietnamese friend took me here. It's one of his regular Spots. I'm not a Vietnamese food Aficionado but the place was super busy and the food was awesome. We were there for lunch on a Saturday and had to wait for a table. So plan ahead. The service was efficient and I even had leftovers so big servings.
L Jara
I was looking for some good Pho and came across this place. It was super busy when we arrived and had to wait a bit to be seated but the waitress was prompt and the food came out fairly quickly for it being so busy. I had the chicken pho and it was amazing! The broth was packed with flavor. I will definitely be going back.
Paco K
Quangs Vietnamese food is excellent. Great price value. Ownership must work with the quality of the service .
Madeline Summers
All of everything is the best food ever. Get the egg roll and beef bun or chicken pho!!
Hiroshi Takeuchi
This is the place you must try if you want to venture into a culinary party of intensely delicious, well executed Asian food. Do not confuse Asian with sushi, the Pho in this place is by far the best in the Twin Cities, the quality and the cleanliness of its broth tells you how patient they are with their craft. Everything I have eaten here is to say the least, fantastic, the Vietnamese coffee is to die for, so get one on your way out to sip while you drive home!...
Samantha Thode
This is my favorite place to get pho. I highly recommend it. The broth is excellent and their bubble tea is very good as well. Staff is courtesy. They have a parking lot. It is small but there usually at least one spot open to park. It's pretty crowded on the weekends. Best time to go is for lunch or weeknights.
Nancy Martinsen
Best pho! Busy place.
thelwbs12
Delicious, genuine food. Good service if you are dining in, less so if you call ahead for pickup.
Generous portions, and inexpensive without seeming cheap.
I'd recommend the lemongrass chicken, seared salmon platter or the grilled marinated chicken, since the menu can seem slightly daunting to choose from for a first timer.
Samantha Saykao
This place is able to get you in and out pretty quickly so you aren't waiting a long time. The food comes out quickly as well. They are well known for their pho but their rice dishes are good as well. Larger parties may have difficulty if they don't call ahead of time, and smaller parties may sit next to strangers. The food is pretty good though.
Josh Sayotovich
Best pho around! Also try the beef and eggroll noodle bowl. Always friendly, and always delicious. This was a favorite mid week mini-date spot before the pandemic, but their food is still great for takeout.
Kerry Vault
Great food fast! The Pho Tai was amazing, great flavor and perfect temperature. Goi cuon were very good as well, the pork was cooked to perfection. Due to Covid concerns, we had to order and pay first, but the service was phenomenal.
K K
Went there for the 2nd time this October covid period and they have renovated and looks amazing. The downside is, you read the menu from the hallway on the glass wall and pay before you enter. With a long line and just two menus, it’s too cold and unhealthy to be standing on a hallway. The surprise came when my bill looked explosive and I was shocked, and without explanation the cashier says the tips are included in the bill before you eat so regardless whether service is good or not, they forcefully extort tip from you. Finally they bring my food, and guess what, my pad Thai had fried eggs yet I don’t eat eggs. My first time last year there my pad Thai had no eggs. They also added nuts in the noodles which they didn’t add last time. The wall menu doesn’t mention any of these things so it’s hard to tell what you expect. I was disappointed to say the least. Make sure you clearly say what you expect or don’t want.
Brian Geving
Delicious food at great prices.
This place is always busy, which is a sure fire way to determine whether you're at a good restaurant.
Like most Vietnamese restaurants, there are lots of vegetarian options on the menu, and many meat dishes have tofu options.
MishaMPLS
I love the pared down menu unlike most Asian restaurants. A nice mix of classic Vietnamese and house specialties. My hot take is that they have some of the best Pho broth in town.
Ba Vang
The pho is great! I've only had their Bun's and Pho so I cant speak for their other foods. It tends to be always busy throughout the day though, so be prepare to sit real close to others because you'll be packed in tight. The wait for the food wasn't long at all, probably waited for a total of 25 min for the waiter to take our order and our food to come out. But overall, great Vietnamese food. I would recommend to tourist and locals!
Willard Puckett
Do not miss this restaurant, it is a wonderful location to get good pho and other Vietnamese delights. They serve excellent vermicelli salads and the pho cannot be beat. Great spring rolls too. If you are a person who is trying to eat gluten free, you may want to ask your server about what the broth is made of, but the noodles are generally rice based and so are the wraps that the spring rolls come in, so you can fairly easily get away with being gluten-free here. Handicap accessibility should not be a problem either. Cheap eats as well, definitely recommend as top here.
I**y C.
The best Vietnamese restaurant in Twin City area.
Meldi Jo
Thai tea is to die for. Delicious sandwiches and great vegetarian options. Fantastic place to eat and super reasonably priced. Atmosphere was also quite nice.
Ryn
Despite being absolutely slammed, they serve quickly and the establishment is clean. Friendly staff. This was my first visit and I heard a little boy's mother ask if they should go elsewhere due to the 15 min wait. The little boy immediately said, "no, it's worth it." That's when I knew I had to stay. It wasn't a let down. 10/10 would go again.
Joanna Kelly
Been coming to Quang since 2013 when I moved to Mpls. I've sampled MANY different Vietnamese restaurants and quite simply, Quang has the best Phō in Minnesota. No other place has even come remotely close. Their spring rolls are also my other favorite! Highly recommend
Scott Perrault
Best Pho I've had in the Twin Cities! Their lime-aide is amazing too. Top quality food every single time I go. Other menu items look really good as well but I haven't been able to not order the pho!
Mike Lovik
Food was great (as usual) they are currently operating in pandemic mode and have done a pretty good job of creating distance with a little bit of a bottle neck at entrance/exit/order counter. I love their food and feel safe dining in.
Mike Lass
Went on a Sunday evening. Bring your patience. Service was poor, really poor. Spring rolls were delicious and so were the meatballs. However, the Pho was really terrible. We couldn’t get over how much allspice was in the broth. Overkill to say the least. Avoid the Pho and stick with apps. Plenty of better pho restaurants in the neighborhood. Hostess with the attitude problem didn’t help any either.
Patrick Kelly
I went to Quang after reading all the reviews about how bad the service was and really tried to find a problem but the service was great. This isn't high end but is staffed with people who really hustle and work hard. I was drinking water and when I asked for a refill, I didn't have to ask again. There was a family with a baby who made a huge mess and it was quickly cleaned up and I couldn't tell what a disaster that space had been just five minutes earlier. I had the 511 (Hot and Spicy Beef and Pork Hock with Round Rice Noodles. Spicy) which was delicious but the beef was a little gristly, hence the three stars. Also, when it's really busy, parking is pretty tight. Friendly, attentive staff and great tasting pho at affordable prices. Give it a shot.
Sarah Ager
This is hands down my favorite restaurant. The food is consistent and they have won awards for being one of the best when it comes to food. Try the spicy pho. The spring rolls are a great appetizer.. Much better than the ones across the street. I always run into friends here because it's the best place to get food
Nick Durr
Steawberry Boba tea! Pho is out of the world and the eggrolls whoa! So good. Amazing food, very fast service. Great opportunity to try new things. The menu is endless and the portions will last you all week.
kat vaj
I've been going here for as long as I can remember. I love the authenticity of the food. They have one of my favorite spring rolls there. It is the number 111 which has a crunch in the spring roll. I also really like the rice platter. The pho is okay. They share their parking lot with the businesses nearby so sometimes it's hard to find parking. It is a family-owned business.
Alex Eha
I had some BBH, it was very delicious and meaty. The staff was very busy with a packed house but still very on top of things for our large group. The egg rolls were also great. Next time I'm going to have my all time fav; pho! Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for food!
Joko Koasasi
One of the best vietnamese restaurant in Minneapolis.
Allie Sigmond
Quang has always been one of my favorite restaurants. The food always tastes great. But recently, with all of the rennovations, service has been very slow. Took us 10 minutes to get just water. I truly hope this is resolved after the renovations.
Blake Fitzgerald
The best pho in the city, and for a reasonable price. I've never waited for more than ten minutes for a table, and never once been dissatisfied with my order. I also recommend the bahn mi sandwiches and the Thai-style coffee, though if it's your first time you should be required to get something broth-based.
hugh4454
My favorite place in all of Minneapolis. The service has been slow these days, but it hasn’t affected the food and they’re doing their best.
Cyrus Zielinski
Amazing pho, busy but good service. Nice looking interior.
Emily Haeg
Love Quang, been coming here for years. The service used to not be great but we've noticed it has improved greatly!
One word of caution to gluten-free folks, last time I was here I ordered a gluten-free labeled menu item(a tofu plate) but upon eating, had an immediate reaction. I suspect regular soy sauce was added. I didn't complain to them since the dish had already been sent back once (they added mock-duck the first time on accident.) But just make sure to emphasize the need for gluten-free to your server.
I'm still giving 5 stars because it is really good food and a great value.
Billy Tseng
Pho and food was excellent. But they are under staffed so the wait for the pho to come out took around 15min. Otherwise, food is excellent.
Eric Kleinberg
Great Pho, always fast, pleasant and pleasing. Large portions. Flavors just right for the venue. Textures and presentation exactly what you want and expect from Pho shop. High volume frequently SRO. Majority Asian patrons seated indicating food is good and passes a discerning clientele's requirements. Never a bad bowl.
Nicole Weiler
Quang is a mainstay of Eat Street. Always busy but never taken by surprise of it, they've mastered the no-fuss eating experience I dream about.
Literally everything on the menu is the best iteration of that thing you've ever had, you'll be seated quickly, always have everything you need, and leave overjoyed and satisfied.
I'm secretly delighted that my favorite order all ends in 12s. 112, 512, and 212. Highly recommended.
Shawn Smeltzer
Food, service, and quality was fantastic! I haven't had good PHO since leaving the west coast. Price was on point with quality and quantity. Would highly recommend and will be back
Jonathan Mathes
Food is still good after remodel, however service quality has gone down sufficiently. I have been coming here for years, but the last three times I have been here the service has been borderline terrible. You have to chase down someone, in fact when I had to walk up to the front to get a "To go" container I got an dirty look.
Zak Haines
Best Asian in Minneapolis! Lots of great food: egg rolls, spring rolls, steamed buns, Boba, coffee, pho, salmon, pad Thai, noodle salad. Hard to pick a bad dish.
Ami
Been here many times, and we always receive bad service. It always takes them more than 30 minutes to take our orders and bring us water after we're seated. Took up to more than an hour one time, and the waitress just totally forgot about us. We didn't make a big deal out of it since this place is always packed, and they had very few waiters/waitresses. So we usually decide what we want to eat prior to so when we are seated and the waiters bring us water we order right away to avoid the wait. Besides the service, I recommend checking this place out. Only the best sausage spring rolls can be found here.
Dion Robertson
Got the pork & seafood pho with 2 huge fried eggrolls !
tina c
Delicious eggrolls, pho, lemon grass chicken. Almost every dish is great. Would only avoid the meatless pho. Its only noodles and soup. Definitely recommend.
Ashlyn Laney
Quick service, a friendly staff, and awesome food add up to a good place to grab Pho in a casual environment. However if you are looking for a quiet dining experience this is not the place for you.
Seating is generally with people you do not know, at long tables, for a sort of cafeteria atmosphere.
Parking is also a problem at most times, as this location shares a parking lot with other businesses. On the weekend it is less of a problem because you can park in the lot of the dentist next door.
Michele Joy
Our meal at the Quang Restaurant was lovely. While the restaurant decor is pretty bare bones, the food is great. We had everything from traditional noodle salad to lemongrass chicken (which is not highly spicy despite the warning). Everything was delicious. I had never tried sausage spring rolls before, which were yummy but the best hors d'oeuvres was the sweet potato. All six of us gave the restaurant high praise. Quang Restaurant has its own parking, which quickly fills up. Never fear, however. There is plenty of free street parking.
Sid S
Absolutely AMAZING food # 207 Lemongrass Chicken with Cracked Rice my favorite along with the fresh spring rolls. Get the same thing every time and continue to be impressed. The Staff is great, they are on par with refilling your drinks, getting your food out quickly. Flat out getting you everything you need, then leaving you alone to enjoy the meal with your company. Highly Recommend
Mai Yang
Had the egg rolls and the combination pho. Both were good. The broth is a clear bone broth. Plenty of meat and toppings. Egg rolls were fresh, a bit thick on the wrappers and more meaty than I usually like my egg rolls but they were a good size and portion for the price.
Lex Thompson
I've been here twice and had two very different experiences. The first was in the early evening of a weekday. The place wasn't crowded much and the food came pretty quickly. It was delicious. 5 stars.
The second was in the dinner-time rush today. 0 stars. The place was packed and it was clear that the host and servers were overwhelmed when we arrived at 8:20PM. I used to work in the food industry so I didn't mind *too* much. After waiting about 5 minutes to be greeted, we considered just ordering takeout online and skipping the dine-in experience. But the host came around just then and sat us at a table that they needed to finish cleaning first. We sat with the food menus -- drink menu wasn't given -- for 20 minutes. No server came, not even with water for the table.
We walked out at 8:45PM, disappointed by the experience. Just don't come here during the busiest times unless you're willing to deal with this, as the restaurant recovers from the impact of the pandemic on their staffing levels, which is what I'd assume was the root cause here. Food is fantastic... It just sucks for everyone when there aren't enough folks to keep things running smoothly and the dangers of the pandemic are nothing to take lightly.
Diana Madigan
I’ve tried several items here, but my favorites are Pad Thai, lemongrass chicken, and the egg rolls!!! OMG! the egg rolls! I do wish they had veggie egg rolls. Service is great and they are consistently fast with takeout on the weekends.
Hieu Nguyen
Friendly and very fast service but there were a few minor issues, I'm Vietnamese too so my advice is legit.
The pho noodles were a bit too hard, I think it was too busy and they didn't bother to soak the noodles into the boiling water enough.
Additionally I got the mango green iced tea for 4$ and I'm pretty sure they just went to the soda machine and poured in Lipton tea with tapioca balls added.
Andrew Moore
Great Pho. Less sweet than the couple places I've been; then again, I'm not a food critic - try it out yourself :). My wife loved it. She got the Ribeye Pho (#500 $15) and I got the pho combo (#503 $10). Tripe, meatballs and beef. The beef was tender. It is high quality for sure. I usually ask for the meat on the side so that I can cook it in the broth at my own pace. That let's me control it to be more medium rare. This beef however; was very tender and juicy even after cooking the entire time in the broth. Many places, it seems the beef is dry and gamey by the time you get to it. This was much better!
Its good Pho. Can't go wrong with that, right?
Jaime Alvarado
Wish service was better because their food is amazing. There sandwiches are awesome but they run out in a few hours after there open at 11 am. So by 3 pm there usually isn't any sandwiches left. And this happens everyday except Tuesday (Quangs is closed on Tue). There spring rolls, vermilion noodle salad and basically everything on the menu is delicious. Only thing is, expect a wait, cause this place is almost always busy and usually under staffed.
Vance McVey
Outstanding food. Superior egg rolls. Lemon grass chicken delicious. Wait staff efficient. Long wait to get service. 15 minutes to get attention on a very busy evening. Recommend strongly.
Padra Moua
I've been coming here since I was a kid. The food is fresh and authentic! They are one of the best pho places in town. You may encounter waiters who aren't fluent in English but they are still very kind and accommodating.
Abigail Mannelin
Best Vietnamese restaurant in the Twin Cities, hands down. But more than that, I often eat at Vietnamese restaurants while traveling as well, and am usually very disappointed by comparison. I would say that only one or two places have ever come close. Food is flavorful and consistent, service is generally speedy even when they are totally slammed—which they often are. Large menu with options for meat-eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free folk.
Samuel Webster
Dollar to delicious best deal in the TC. Also just about the only place you can get hazelnut bubble tea and actually sit down and eat nowadays.
Andrea Weber
Amazing!! Great service!! Yummy vegan and gluten-free options!
John Keymer
Fantastic Authentic Vietnamese served in a Quick, Casual style.
The pricing is very affordable, and the portions are generous. The service is expedient and courteous and the food itself is awesome.
It's unpretentious and casual, but only in the mood of the staff and their customers. The plating and presentation doesn't lack and the restaurant is clean and well mainained.
Its a cant-miss in unique Twin Cities dining.
Hoang Ton
I ordered several items. The order process was great. But when I got home with my food, I found out that the order was missing an item. I tried several times to call them back to let them know about the missing item, but I couldn't get through, the machine answers the phone and hangs up.
Steve Sol
Best pho in Minnesota and possibly the entire United States! Their other entrees and appetizers are excellent as well.
The restaurant is usually packed but it is always clean and service is very fast. I highly recommend you stop in and eat here at least once, but I guarentee it won't be your last!
Shaklik
The rice platters here are out of the world. Seriously, a fish sauce that’s light but still delivers, fresh assortment of delicious meats, the broken rice tastes actually like rice, and a portion that’s challenges you to eat anything else.
Phenomenal in that regard that you can’t beat at any other restaurant. And I’ve tried plenty from here to San Francisco.
As far as their other plates go I’d say they are in the “good” range, enough to not be bad but not close to the best. Their pho and spring rolls are not the best in the business.
That being said, still an amazing place with pretty fast service.
Nicholas Zimet
This restaurant is always a solid choice when you want delicious Vietnamese food served very quickly to you. they always have such an amazing number of staff buzzing about that it creates an efficient machine that turns out steaming Bowls Of Pho and delicious Bun salads in record time. At least in the past, they've had really wonderful weekend specials as well. They serve Bahn mi sandwiches during lunch only and these are tasty as well.
Derek Larson
One of our favorites in the metro. Usually very busy, a significant awaits during peak times. But the dining room is large and they can turn over a lot of customers relatively quickly. Lots of menu options, good flavors and quick service.
Megan Korea
This place is always busy but totally worth the wait.
My go-to meal is always regular Pho and a strawberry bubble smoothie.
I always need to go and grab my own fork and spoon set, since they assume that I am OK with chopsticks and do not offer me other cutlery.
You will be sitting elbow to thigh with complete strangers. The volume of the restaurant is a loud buzz. Some patrons are loud and disrespectful while others are respectful. I see a lot of couples and families.
Lauren Rice
Loud/Packed/intense - and FANTASTIC authentic amazing foods
Andrew Boerema
Quang is one of the best Vietnamese places in Minneapolis. The food is always amazing. He phò is very good and heir fried egg rolls are to die for. The service is fast, but if recommend having an idea of what you want before you go because the servers are extremely busy and don’t have the time or desire to hang out and help you decide.
Morgan Hardcastle
Delicious classic Vietnamese cuisine. Don't be fooled by the exterior, the inside is huge, with plenty places to sit. Service was lighting quick, and you the food comes so hot you can barely eat it. Plenty of options for take home beverages & pastries too. I'll be back.
Jaklyn McElveen
I've ridden by it for years and finally ended up going today. Aesthetically , the restaurant felt calm. The walls do not have anything on them which after a long day is a nice reprieve. We had both the banh mi and pho, both of which were quite tasty. Will definitely be going back.
Brandi Leslie
We ordered through doordash. Food was correct, beautifully done and incredibly tasty. We have decided Quang is our go to. It's so helpful that they label gluten free or friendly instead of me guessing. I really do recommend.
Uzma Ali
Their pho was pretty good. While it's not the best I've ever had, it was pretty close to it. I haven't tried anything else but what else is there to eat at an Asian restaurant but pho?! 🤷♀️ …
Jim Kreilich
One of our Twin city favorites. My grandson & son's family love it & introduced us to it. Our other family members are also frequent visitors.
aaron zimmerman
Really good pho. Packed.
David Peterson
I am intrigued by the set up of the restaurant. They typically have large tables set up and will sit groups next to each other. At first it might feel slightly uncomfortable, however you get used to it. It encourages conversations with your neighbors.
I am a huge fan of their vegetarian pho. Since becoming vegetarian, I thought I would have to give up pho. However, their alternative is really good. They recently changed the name but it's number 512 I believe. I would highly recommend eating here alone or in a group. Their wait staff is always friendly and helpful.
Bridget Lee
The best Vietnamese food! I go here at least once a month.
The spring rolls are always fresh, well wrapped and appear at your table 30 seconds after you order them. The fried yams and shrimp are also quite good!
My favorite dish is the mock duck and tofu vermicelli salad and if they have the coconut bread at the check out, you have to pick some up!
They are almost always busy but if you have to wait, it is totally worth it. They turn tables faster than anywhere I've been and I don't know if I've every seen them make a mistake which is crazy!
Terry Brown
Best steamed bun in the cities. Buy 3 and freeze for a great work lunch. Of course you are gonna eat one right away
Emily Maldonado
I eat here practically every week and so much that the some of the waiters remember my order!
But as good as the food is, the lady at the front registers is absolutely rude and I really don't like how she treats the customers and I hope she fixes her attitude.
Anyway I recommend the chicken pho and vermicelli salad with mock duck and tofu.
John Seppala
I love this iconic Vietnamese restaurant. I've been coming here ever since it was a hole in the wall across Nicollet Ave from it's present location. Currently operated by the second generation of the founding family, this is as authentic as Vietnamese food gets. Eat here once and you won't want to go anywhere else.
Roberto & Ericka Campos
The food is great. We've had Brisket and Chicken Pho and they're both great. They serve it with plenty of toppings unlike other places that skimp on it. The Vermicelli salads are also great and refreshing. And the Bahn Mi sandwiches are ready to go in case you're in a hurry. Most of the food is very cheap and it's great for families.
The staff is also very friendly. If you're there during rush hour though, don't be surprised if you're hurried through the checkout counter.
We definitely recommend this place to anybody.
Karin Berdal
Best Pho in town! Always fast service and very friendly 💕 …
M.O. E.
I’ve been here several times with my cousin. Very busy place but you are seated quickly. The food is fresh and tasty. We usually get platters. The service is quick and efficient. I highly recommend it!
Eric Williams
2pm on a Thursday. Service was prompt and with a smile. I was seated and ordered a bahn bao and the combo pho. The bao was ridicolous - I assumed I was getting an order of 2-3 small bao, instead I got one which was the size of a softball. Inside was a fist sized lump of ground meat and some hardboiled egg. Steamed dough doesn't do great once it has been sitting around, and this was blatantly microwaved. The dough had a peculiar and fairly off putting texture, it was actually kind of crumbly. The meat mix was extremely dense, exactly like when you have microwaved a burger. Not a great way to start my meal and I sort of wish the server had told me what I was in tor (in terms of portion) when I ordered by myself. The pho was pretty good. Broth was not greasy, but just a pleasant touch of fattiness, dark amber color, interesting complexity. The brisket was a bit overdone and leaned toward dry. The meatballs were good with just a hint of liver flavor. The tendon and tripe seemed to be prepared correctly and provided the textural contrast they are known for. Very large portion. The accouterments on the side included the standard bean sprouts and jalepeno and...lemon? I heard another table question the server about this and they were told that the price of limes has skyrocketed. Lemon will bring acidity to the dish, but acidity alone is not the reason that lime is so often used. If the price has risen, either raise the price of the pho or the restaurant can eat the cost would be my recommendation. Overall a meal with potential but a few missteps that bordered on severe. Probably would not return, especially on such a storied strip littered with excellent restaurants.
Chance Tatum
The waiter was super helpful and helped my mom with what to get. Great food and great is atmosphere. The noodles, sauces, and the beef I got were juicy, tasty and mouth watering.
Driftlessdude
Quang is simply divine! Used to visit regularly during my 3 decades of living in Minneapolis. #1 choice on my recent visit there and back. Rice noodle salads and spring rolls and, and, and! I was in heaven again. Miss you Quang! 🧡🧡 …
Julie Chiu
The best Vietnamese food in the Twin Cities! It is always packed during lunch and dinner peak dining times for a good reason, but their service is always friendly and quick. Their Pho Tai is usually on par, however, the broth's flavor can be slightly bland sometimes. Their egg rolls and bubble tea are good! They have a few milk tea varieties, which is a nice difference from the typical fruity flavors found at every other Vietnamese restaurant. Highly recommended!
Julie Greene
Love the food. However the owners need to do a real good cleaning, it was grimy and somewhat greasy. Also its way past time for new paint, carpet. Please do a good cleaning and redo the interior and we will be back.

Great value for your money. Try the lemongrass chicken and pho. The ambience is not great and service after 630pm slows down as they are quite packed then. We come here regularly during weeknights and they are usually quick, consistent in their food quality and inexpensive. I still prefer Tried Chau in St. Paul but if you are in Minneapolis Quang is more convenient.

Love this place for Pho! Always get spring rolls, egg rolls and pho! Soooo good! Miss being able to sit down and just eat, but still ordering for delivery :)

This is my favorite Vietnamese place. I had some salad rolls or summer rolls and banh hoi with pork meatballs (nem nuong) tonight. It was a lot of food and, as is often the case with Vietnamese food, a great combo of savory, sweet and sour flavors with fresh herbs. I was trying to think what made the summer rolls so enjoyable and realized they didn't cut corners like some other Vietnamese places I've been to where most of the filling was cheap noodles. Ordering online was easy and pick up was efficient.

Pho is super delicious! My fiance enjoyed his meal, Bun rieu. All our appetizers were awesome, pork and veggie eggrolls, spring rolls and chicken wings. Definitely would come back here.

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the state. They have amazing eggrolls, spring rolls, and my three favorite dishes here are: beef and shrimp salad, Lemongrass chicken, and grilled pork chops. I have noticed a big difference in the way the restaurant is managed since they started serving alcohol and I think they have too many crowded tables but they get you in and out so fast, it s usually worth being literally in your neighbors table and conversation. Just make friends with them or eavesdrop like I do. Lol

Consistently delicious food at reasonable prices. Good selection of dishes for carnivores and vegetarians. Construction to update the place is a bit disruptive but the food is worth it. If you don't mind a bit of hustle and bustle you'll be rewarded.

When I want a good bowl of pho I always go to quangs- no question about that. Me and partner go there so often that waiters and owners know our faces and what we usually want all the time. Great atmosphere and delicious food! If you have tried quangos make sure you go give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.🍲🍜🍗🥘🍛🍚🍤🍺🍽 …
