What a great restaurant. We had the entire family in for a birthday celebration. The menu was not expansive but everyone found something to their liking. Everything was magnificent. They had a pork special that was excellent. I highly recommend and we will go back.

Plan ahead note: park in the back and go in the back door! Also I recommend making a reservation ahead of time.
Review: My family brought me to dinner here for my birthday - every course was incredible! The staff was super nice and made sure we always had our drinks refreshed throughout the meal. One of the best crime brûlées I have ever eaten!
It is not a big place, has a very intimate and neighborly feel.

Loved it! We called ahead and they gave us an estimated wait time, so we put our names on the list. We got there at the said time, and only had to wait maybe 10 minutes for our table. They kept apologizing that the people currently at the table hadn’t left yet, but of course that wasn’t their fault. We were seated soon enough, and then our server, Karen, took excellent care of us. She was so kind and pleasant and fun. The servers seem to work as a team; a few different people brought us our food and drinks and everyone was extremely nice (not fake nice, just genuinely nice). The food was great too! One of our dishes was undercooked, and they whisked it back to the kitchen to finish cooking, and brought it back re-plated and presented beautifully again. Very pleased, and will be back!

Hard to beat this cozy farm-to-fork neighborhood trattoria. Intimate atmosphere, great food and a highly experienced service staff always makes for a wonderful extended family outing. The grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus is a personal favorite. Family owned Italian since 1999. Thanks as always! Check it out!

Italian places are a dime a dozen, but Prima stands out. It's a cozy space with warm wait staff and delicious food. The ingredients are fresh and sourced from the owners' family farm just outside of the city. You can actually have a conversation without yelling too. Great place, we'll be back!

I loved this quaint restaurant! There were 10 of us and they accommodated us perfectly. Great for intimate dining for two also. The pumpkin squash ravioli was a hit as well as the special tonight, penne, chicken, spinach, red peppers. Our server was also fab.
Save room for the butterscotch sea salt, creme fraiche custard for dessert, dynamite!

Easy to call in order and great curbside takeout service!
The calamari is tasty, but I expected the portion to be maybe 2-3x larger for the price (maybe 3-4oz) based on past dining experience ordering calamari at this price point. Maybe it’s inflation or supply issues.
The extra sauce was also more than expected at $5 for a few oz. I don’t ask the price or size so that’s my mistake, but I expected a small container like the red sauce for .50-1.

Wonderful neighborhood restaurant. Food is delicious and portions are good. Service is friendly, courtious and I'm knowledgeable. Large parties should make reservations well in advance seeing as the restaurant isn't that large. Amy your host is very welcoming and has an amazing memory, makes you feel right at home. Definitely a staple in the area and I hope to go there for years to come!

We visited Prima last Friday evening for a family birthday dinner. WOW. The staff is amazing and work very hard to meet your every need. We were seated at a high top table, but had a family member with a broken foot so the staff promptly moved us to a lower table to accommodate.
The server was very helpful in our appetizer selections which included the crab cakes and bruschetta - they didn't disappoint! We also ordered larger salads for the table including the Caesar and the Roasted Beet Salad that we shared. I ordered the Squash and Pumpkin Ravioli in Sage Brown Butter - which I would highly recommend. We also ordered the Pappardelle, Orecchiette, Bucatini Amatricana and Capellini Al Pomodoro - all were amazing!
Thank you to the management and staff at Prima for making our birthday celebration very memorable - we will definitely return!
