One of our top pizza restaurants in the Twin Cities! The Heart of Sicily is fresh and has an awesome dressing. Their deep dish pizzas (order quickly as they take 45 minutes) are top notch - we love the Lincoln Park pizza - so good! Highly recommended!

We had the deep dish pizza. It was the Gold Coast. Others at our table had the Wrigley. Everyone that worked here had a smile! Restrooms very clean. Maybe a little loud, but that was too be expected with the number of patrons. Taste of Sicily salad was delish!

Pezzo is always delicious. We had their cheese dip and pizza, everything was delicious and our waitress told us to dip our crust in our dip... so amazing. Will always go back to Pezzo.

Restaurant ambiance felt great. Service was amazing and the food didn't disappoint. Great drink selection and some good craft cocktails and taps. The wine selection looked good as well. We had the meatballs as an app. They were great and loved that they came with bread and a salad. Also had the pizza we went with the Carne on the regular crust it came out fast and the flavor was great. Specifically liked the sausage. After the pizza sat for a minute the center got a little soggy. But overlooked as it was still amazing. My daughter got the veal rigatoni, very simple but well done. If I ordered that I would get it with the meatball app personally. Overall great experience. Oh we showed up early as they can get very busy.

I went here for a work event with 25 others in a private room, so I can say that the pizza was delicious and I got to try 5 or 6 of them. I don't know how the typical dining environment is, although the restaurant was big it seemed fairly nice when I walked through. I am happy that my company was paying, but the price was reasonable for coal fired pizza.

Not only is the food amazing but they give your kids a ball of real pizza dough to play with. Brilliant. So much better than just crayons. We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends.

Delicious food! 5 stars for the food itself but we waited 29 minutes past the time we were told it would be ready and 24 minutes past the time they told us about 5 minutes. Service was good though, the kitchen staff definitely deserved the extra $2 kitchen tip (on top of the regular tip) they have on the menu.

Pezzo has consistently been a great place for amazing pizza, salads, and more. The service is consistently outstanding and atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Our family specifically likes the Sicilian salad (served with cold plates and cold forks!) and the Wrigley deep dish pizza (amazing crust and ingredients). They have great, beer, wine, and drink selections too.

This is a cool spot. Went for National Pizza Day. The pizza was great. I got the Margherita Pizza and my buddy tried the deep dish pepperoni. The deep dish wasn't as thick as other places, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Had a good beer and wine selection. Good place to bring the family.

Great food! Great service. They’re on point. We come here a lot - have had the Italian Salad, wood fired pizza, meatballs and lasagna and everything was impressive. There are no kids menus but everything was pretty much family style with large portions and our awesome server let the kids play w dough while waiting to eat. It’s always busy and Weds is half price bottle of wine night. Go here. It’s delicious!

One of the worst beef sandwiches ever - soggy, horseradish aioli lacked any hint of horseradish. Had I not been there b4 and had excellent gorgonzola pizza, I wouldn't be going back. Nice patio, lots of harley noise - on both occasions. Excellent service.

We will absolutely be back! Really great pizza - regular pepperoni but was fantastic. And the winner of the evening was their Roasted Red Pepper Artichoke dip. Hands down, THE BEST artichoke dip we have ever had. I can't imagine ever finding a dip this good anywhere. You won't be disappointed by their pizza, you may not want to ever leave if you try their artichoke dip.

You could transport this restaurant to Chicago just the way it is and it would fit right in and do very well. The deep dish pizza is fantastic with buttery, flaky crust and tons of cheese. The coal-fired is very good too! Get one of each so the coal fired pizza can be your appetizer while you wait for the deep dish. Well worth the trip if you live in the cities.

This place is the best for deep dish pizza!!! The Sicilian salad pairs well with the Wrigley deep dish pizza! The Italian sandwich is super tasty as well! Top it off with some tiramisu! Sit at the bar if possible! Jeff the bartender is the best and so nice! We always have a good experience every time we go there!

Great Deep Dish pizza. We got the,"Wrigley". Pepperoni, Sausage, Fennel, Cheese. Really delicious and filling. We got it to go and had appetizers while we waited. It is so big and deep dish it takes 45 mins to cook. Worth the wait.

First time trying this place today and it was pretty good! Just a note: they're only doing take out right now. They took our phone number and credit card info over the phone but did not call us when the pizza is ready. So, make sure you're there as ours was done earlier than we were told and our pizza wasn't very fresh. Otherwise super nice staff and a good experience otherwise!

Hands down one of the best deep dish pizza joints I have found in the twin cities area. The fact that I drive 40 minutes just to get a pie means that it is that good, and a must try. Until I find a better joint with more consistentcy this will me my go to place!

Whenever anyone asks where they should eat in White Bear, this is our first place we recommend. We enjoy Pezzo as a dine in and take out establishment regularly. The staff is always so kind, they take pride in their business and want their customers to have a good experience. If we have had a small hiccup, they go above and beyond to correct it. The pizza is so good that we always justify ordering more food just to have leftovers. The marscapone dip is incredible, treat yourself and start your meal off right with this appetizer.

I wish I could give them more stars, but I've been there twice & had the same issue both times. They are very stingy with the cheese on the build your own pizza. I ordered both dry mozzarella & fresh mozzarella & still only ended up with a tiny amount of cheese. I asked the server about it & she pointed to a speck of cheese & said "that's the fresh right there". It was invisible to my eye! I have made many pizzas myself with both kinds & know what it should look like. They cheated on the cheese, plain & simple. It was the same deal the first time I ate there. The people were generally nice & the mistake pizza they brought my husband was very tasty! That's another story though.

They make a very good pizza here. Have yet to try the Chicago Deep Dish.. when I go back that's what I'm trying. Great staff, very friendly. Not a crazy amount of food options like other places.. but not a bad thing. The options they do have, they do very well.

Wow. We accidently came to Pezzo's in search of a place nearby that was closed. Had never been here before. First of all, the staff was friendly and engaging as well as fun. But nothing could top our dinner. We started with the meatball appetizer which was unique and delicious. It also comes with a salad which was perfect! The salad was one of the freshest I had in a long time. Then, we ordered the Chicago deep dish Gold Coast pizza. It was unbelievably wonderful! I would highly recommend this establishment on every level.

Request a table back past the bar area. It's still very loud inside but a little quieter back there when they are busy. The Italiano salad is fabulous, big enough for four. Pizzas are always super great as well!

Thank you for your prompt response. *Original review:* Pezzo's has amazing pizzas, no doubt about that and the service is always phenomenal. The reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 is because they no longer offer pasta on the menu. This place was a Celiac's dream and had some of the BEST gluten free pasta around! We recommended it to at least a dozen or so Celiacs that we know whom used to drive from all over the metro to come eat here. Very sad to hear about the pasta.

Yummy... The crust is really unique. Good friendly service - yummy food. If you are getting a salad /eat it there, do not take your salad home. They do not live well after they've spent the night in your fridge (they're so delicious) just finish it while you're at the restaurant.

Deep dish pizza was good, would recommend it! However asked about getting traditional chicken wings with ranch or blue cheese, they don't have that. The basil wings they do have were over complicated and very average. Not worth $15 in my opinion. Hard to believe a pizza place doesn't carry ranch dressing? I was a little disappointed.

First time here & we ordered a deep dish gold coast: sausage, pepperoni, meatball & prosciutto with mozzarella cheese. Lots of cheese for sure but very little meat of any kind on the menu. The heart of sicily salad was so delicious & the lemon chicken wings were so tasty. But our server a young female was outstanding; answered questions, had an upbeat attitude & made sure our drinks were filled & made us fill like we were regulars. Little meat on our deep dish was a bummer yet everything else made it a 4 star.

Great food, wine, and beer. All food is handmade that day. Servers are always happy and act as if they really want to make you night the best ever. Update: it was really quiet on a Thursday evening, which is not what it normally was, but I saw a lot of takeout. The meatballs are fabulous and a great plate to share and come with a small side salad as well. The outdoor patio was perfect for our group.

It's hard to find a good Chicago deep just style pizza. So since I can't be in Chicago this is the place I go to get it. If you call ahead they can even start it before you get there so you don't have to wait the 45 minutes it takes to cook a Chicago deep dish style pizza. They have fantastic appetizers and an excellent wine and drink list, really personable service and a great atmosphere.

I go out of my way to get pizza from here - it will take your pizza night to another level! They have fabulous deep dish with loads of cheese. The Wrigly has meat from edge to edge and the sausage is homemade. I’m also a fan of building my own pizza and they have great toppings to choose from (sometimes I wish they’d be a little more generous with the non-meat toppings, but it isn’t an issue frequently enough for me to knock a star off my review). Even just plain cheese is a treat because then you really experience the crust cheese and sauce. So good. They also do great salads. I haven’t adventured much past those menu items as the deep dish is crave-able. Best deep dish you can get outside of Chicago in my opinion.

Ordered curbside Chicago Deep Dish. Not impressed. Skimpy on the meat, overboard on the sauce, crust wasn't special. Service was good. Cannolis had an orange flavor to them; they were well done, but we didn't like them.

Went to this place because of the reviews. The food was fine. The pizza tastes like other wood fired pizza joints. The roast beef sandwich with horseradish could've been spicier. The ambience is nice and the service was ok. Definitely overrated from the reviews. They do give huge portions for their salads and sandwiches. The portions they provide for those items could feed a family. So it would save you money if you shared your food and ate family style. Plus you can try several of their menu items that way.

We drive almost 40 minutes one way just to get their pizza. The Gold Coast....trust me...amazing. Their coal fire pizzas, get one as an appetizer!! We’ve gotten take out from them through all the shut downs and restrictions this year and the staff has always been the absolute best. I wish all the workers well and I can’t wait till I can burn my mouth in the restaurant on a slice of hot pizza.

Great food with some unique flavors. Everything is truly fresh and made with local produce whenever possible. They even make their own cheese! My absolute favorite item on the menu is the coal fire artichoke dip! It is not your average artichoke dip. I would also recommend the Grecian salad. Any of the salads are good but the Grecian is my personal favorite. Pizzas: #4 - a total classic and one can hardly go wrong with it. #13 - I'm not usually a person to mix sweet and savory so I was skeptical because this pizza has figs on it but the balsamic glaze cuts the sweetness of the figs for a beautiful unique flavor. #15 - Pretty common pizza toppings but is especially special at Pezzo. I have not had anything bad at Pizzeria Pezzo. It can get busy especially on weekend evenings (like most good restaurants) but seems like they do well at turning over tables. Staff have all been friendly, offer descriptions and opinions (when asked) about menu items, good service.

Pizzerio pezzo has been a favorite of mine for many years, amazing food and even better service. I requested a reservation for a surprise engagement and they went above and beyond and surprised us with champagne and amazing personalized service! They made a special day that much better! This restaurant is the best in the area for great pizza, atmosphere and service!

Service is always excellent. The Sicilian salad is by far the best salad, mainly due to the mustard-based dressing (tangy and bright). Best coal-fired pizza is #5 which is their all-meat pizza (red sauce). Something delicious about the crispy prosciutto. Lemon basil wings also hit the spot, if you like said flavors. Their turkey sandwich easily feeds two people (or leftovers for lunch) and I would HIGHLY recommend it. Also, deep dish is worth a shot on another trip, too. I've had deep dish in Chicago and personally, it's comparable! One piece tho, and that's all you need. *update: they’ve update their menu and changed the name of the pizza and salad and raised their prices. Great news is the tiramisu is now house made and delicious!! If you are too full but needing something sweet, wait for the mint sticks that come with your bill.

This is without a doubt my favorite pizza place of all time! (May it be noted I grew up in Chicago/its suburbs) The pizzas are great, both thin and deep. The small plates are amazing as well. The drink selection is adequate. I have not tried the sandwiches... The service is outstanding! The one time the service was slow (out of countless visits) we received thorough, genuine apologies, our drinks were free, the small plate was free, and they gave us an extra one, which more than made up for it. One of the stranger things I have to say is that even the customers are awesome. We repeatedly receive compliments from strangers!?

Excellent service and very good food will bring me back again. Tried the House Roast Beef sandwich, you certainly get plenty to enjoy. The Sicilian salad for a starter was very good. The boys enjoyed their pizza, and they are quite picky about pizza. All in all an excellent experience in White Bear lake.

Can’t rave enough about this place. The food is absolutely to die for. The deep dish pizza here is amazing. Also highly recommend the lemon basil wings. I’ve never had a better wing in my life. The atmosphere is always very nice and they play great music. The patio is very well shaded and lovely to eat out on. Service is also wonderful. Just an absolutely great pizza place.

Great family spot. Nice and loud if you have kids and they will give the kids a ball of dough to play with while you wait for the food. Plan on a permanent flour dusting on the table after the fun has been had. Pizza is cooked over a wood fire grill and they have a great selection of beer and wine. They don’t take reservations so plan on sitting at the bar and having a beer while you wait....or a diet coke if that’s your thing.

We go there at least two to three times a month, this is one of the best pizza restaurants in the Twin Cities if not the best. We love that we can get fresh quality delicious appetizers and salads as well as great pizza, so we always leave feeling like we've had well balanced dinner. The chef really knows how to mix flavors together, everything is always excellent. We've also always had great service and we love the ambiance.

The pizza we had was awesome!!! Our server, Shana, was great also attentive yet not overly so. The deep dish takes awhile to bake so be prepared for a wait. But it's definitely worth it. Next time we're there we are going to try the salads with the meal. They looked really good from the next table over.

Fun vibe, professional management. Long wait to sit, and long wait for hand tossed pizza. Sauce is a bit heavy for me. I prefer light, sweet sauces, and this one has a stewed, spiced flavor. The other ingredients are fresh and delicious. The two-person pizza size is truly perfect for two people. There is no kid menu or coloring, etc, but they give a ball of dough for the kids to play with while you wait. Mine prefers to eat it! Yuck! Fun idea for older kids though! The restaurant is always quite noisy, but still enjoyable. Very friendly staff! Not a regular stop for us, but we go about every 6 months for a family night out. I recommend using the No Wait app to reserve a space in the line on busy nights.

My wife and I stopped in at Pizzeria Pezzo last night and had a fantastic meal. It was fairly busy but we were seated immediately on the patio. Our server was very knowledgeable about the drink menu and offered helpful suggestions. We ordered the Italian stuffed mushrooms and fields of bleu salad. Both were absolutely amazing. We ended up sharing the rigatoni with veal meat balls which was equally as good as the appetizer and salad. The drink menu was impressive with descriptions of their many draft beers and other cocktails. The prices were very reasonable and the overall experience was pleasant. Highly recommend.

I’ve had my fair share of Chicago Deep Dish pizzas, and the deep dish I had here was by far one of the best I’ve had. The crust is crispy and buttery and the mozzarella tastes house made. Their salads feed two people as a meal, so beware if you get salad and pizza for two because that would probably feed a family of four realistically. My husband and I could only finish 1 pizza slice each after salad. We recommend trying their sausage, it was superb. Great food, great atmosphere! Definitely worth the trip to White Bear from the Cities.

Been coming here since it opened (literally the 3rd day after) & have never been disappointed. The staff have always been friendly. Had both the hand tossed & deep dish, we prefer the deep dish. Simply outstanding flavor & the crust just melts in your mouth. We usually do the Caesar salad (enough for at least 5 people) while waiting for the deep to cook & end up taking several slices home. Haven't had another pizza taste that good reheated the next day. Not always a cheap outing but we hit it a few times a year.

My family and I have been here dozens of times and have never once been disappointed. My kids rarely want to go to a restaurant that does not serve mac and cheese, but they love everything they get at Pezzo. The staff is always great, the management is friendly, and they are the most consistent restaurant I can think of. We always know what to expect when we go to Pezzo, and what we expect is delicious food, excellent service, and a fair price. There is nothing we would change and we will keep coming back.

Great place in WBL area. If you are questioning, just try it. You won't be disappointed. We got an appetizer that was delicious and huge, and then a salad that was the same. We went with a white sauce pizza and I can honestly say it was one of the most flavorful pizzas that I have ever had. Simply delicious. Delicious coal-fired appetizers, authentic Chicago-style deep dish pizza, and solid beer menu. Pizzeria Pezzo has become our go-to pizza place and easily the best deep dish we have found in the Twin Cities. The hot appetizers are prepared in a small coal oven and cooked to perfection- try the wings. Staff is attentive and accommodating, but deep dish takes time to cook so plan to wait in line on the weekends. Bar seating in front of the open kitchen gives a cooking show perspective of preparation for each dish. Summer patio seating during is a great way to relax at the end of a long day. Enjoy! Pro Tip #1: Order your deep dish before anything else- they can take 45+ minutes to cook. You can even call ahead and get your pizza in the oven. Pro Tip #2: If you like a loaded pizza without the grease, order the Linkin Park (vegetarian) with added sausage (it's made in-house!).

Nice atmosphere, decent food, but sadly, if not expected, overpriced for what you get on anything other than their pizzas. Small app portions. Never an excuse for that when the best authentic food downtown tends to give you more than you'll ever be able to eat. Won't get pity from me on that front. Not a whole lot of reasons to choose here than Punch Pizza (for cheaper) if that's the style of pizza your going for. Definetly recommend going a Friday or Saturday when they're busy to get the "A" team cooks. Went a week day and ordered their what use to be amazing albeit very small portion of lemon wings only to have them come almost completely charred and burnt on 1 side of all them. Pizza that day seemed "eh" as well. They offered a new batch but for the measly amount you get to $ said forget it damage/hassle was done. Staff is also very swing or miss sometimes you'll get a friendly waiter other times somebody who's just going to slap the food on your table and run away.

Great pizza, BUT if you're picking up to go either call it in or place your order online. I usually order online but thought I'd give the app a try. I ordered using the app for the 1st time on 11.5.2021. I placed an order to be picked up at 6:50pm. I received a confirmation email stating pickup will be ready at 6:55pm. Went to pickup and the wait staff said I was early and showed me their ticket stating 7:35pm. I showed them my email confirming 6:55pm. I had waited 25 minutes for them to make my pizza after they said it'd be out in 15. Pizza finally comes and I leave without checking. Just my luck it's wrong. The receipt taped to the box shows an old order I had placed back on 10.15.2021. Do not use the app.

Dined in last night. We did not have reservations, yet we only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Courteous, polite staff. Manager was active on floor, helping out in many areas and checking in with guests. Our server was very attentive and interactive. He was funny and thoughtful, offering good menu tips. I would not categorize it as a "family restaurant", however we did bring in our 5 and 10 year old and did not receive any negative vibes about doing so. In fact, after ordering our drinks our server brought out a plate with a small floured round of dough and a wet-nap for each of our children to stay busy with. Price point was on par with any other up-scale pizzeria. There are flat crust and deep dish offerings that are both coal fired. Quality, fresh ingredients. Lengthy salad, antipasto menu. Traditional Italian dessert menu- cannolis, gelato, tirimisu. We did not have a chance for dessert, as we were stuffed as is. We split a charcuterie board, "farm fresh salad special" (which was a spring mix-apple-blue cheese-gargonzola), the "Caccio de Pepe" (pecorino-pepper angel hair pasta), deep dish "Gold Coast" (homemade sausage, pepperoni, meatballs, prosciutto) Covid wise- all staff was appropriately masked, restaurant was neat and clean, it is an open kitchen and all back of the house was appropriately gloved/masked, bathrooms had automatic soap and sanitizer dispensers, automatic paper towel dispenser and toe grab on door so as to not have to touch with hand. Sanitizer (foam) dispensers were also at entry/exit way. Menus were paper and disposed of after each table.

Went here as a family of four. Menu is simple; pizza and salads are the main bill of fare, but they also have sandwiches and appetizers. One thing unique is they give the kids a lump of dough to play with while waiting. We had a regular garden salad which was fresh and lightly vinegary; we ordered 2 pizzas, one sausage/cheese and the other cheese and both came out within 25 minutes. I've had better coal-fired pizza. The edges of the crust were burnt nearly black; it was surprising to me that a mildly upscale restaurant wouldn't be able to find a way to limit that, so I was a bit disappointed. It's possible their more specialty pizzas meet the mark, but your typical sausage or pepperoni pizza is better had at several other local Twin Cities pizzerias. Service was excellent, waitstaff were friendly and good with the kids. The pizza was disappointing for the value.

Love this pizza place! Service is always good. The deep dish pizza is amazing. So filling, the sauce is rich and delicious and it's worth the 45 minute wait. But the star is the cippolini and whipped cheese appetizer. It's creamy and a little sweet and absolutely delightful.

The server was awesome, however the pizza was super salty. We had all 4 different pan pizzas. We are picky though. The Italian salad was great along with the artichoke dip and lemon basil wings. Large portions. Not a bad thing. Downside is no childrens menu. So if your little one is hoping for food other than pizza or buttered noodles, might want to bring along something they might like.

The best pizza we've ever had! Really great food all around! We had a party of 6 people, so we all ordered different things to share and try more food. We started with the Sicilian Salad and that was a great way to start, very unique, refreshing, and great flavors. We then tried the Italian Stuffed Mushrooms and the Baked Cipollini and Whipped Cheese. Both were just fantastic! Then we tried The Wrigley Chicago Deep Dish and the #2. The Deep Dish was really good, but we thought the #2 was fantastic. Bottom line, everything we had was some of the best food any of us had ever had. I would HIGHLY recommend going here, great service and great food, can't beat that!

The food is fantastic. All the times I have eaten here (at least 4-5 times) I have never left disappointed in the food. My only disappointment was that there was not more to eat. The lack of a star was the service, this staff seems to be overwhelmed consistently by the amount of people coming in. I feel after their owner passed it declined a bit because it lost its "Chicago" influence. Still the closest thing to Chicago style pizza you will find in the NE Twin Cities.

Great food and service! We ate there with our toddler, and they instead of a the usual crayon and kid menu to color on they give kids a baseball sized piece of pizza dough on a plastic plate to play with, which kept him very busy and happy! Also the food came out very quickly. If you are looking to split one of their amazing pizza, and try something else as well, the roast beef sandwich is the best I have ever had.

My family visited Pizzeria Pezzo for the first time tonight, and we thought it was great. The service was excellent and the pizza was great. Pints of beer for $5.50 was about what you'd expect. The thin-crust pizza with pepperoni, prosciutto, and cheese was delicious. So was the roasted pepper and artichoke dip appetizer. We will go there again.

I love Pizzeria Pezzo! It is one of the best places for pizza in the twin cities.They have great flatbread pizzas, but their true specialty is the Chicago-style deep dish pizza (pies). Their pizzas are amazing and we regularly dine in and order take out. They also have a variety of other excellent Italian/American choices on their menu, including some excellent salads. Very good wine and beer selection and, if you like wine, worth noting that they have 1/2 price bottles of wine on Wednesday nights. It is a family friendly restaurant with patio seating in the warmer months. During peak hours, be prepared to wait a bit for a table. Amidst all of the amazing places to eat in White Bear Lake, this ranks up there among the best.

Great atmosphere and some amazing food options. We tried both the deep dish and the cold fired pizzas. The deep dish was nothing short of amazing, but the cold fired was a bit underwhelming. With the cold fired, I think it was just the pizza we ordered (chicken carbonara) and my expectations. It wasn't really like chicken carbonara at all and didn't quite stack up to the deep dish.

I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. They have a parking lot available, however the restaurant itself is kind of hidden between subway and Edina realty, there’s no sign out on 61 to tell you where to turn off. I visited on a Saturday evening and it was a thirty minute wait. The bar and high tops area is free for all, however they wouldn’t let anyone sit on this open 6 top table because everyone waiting was only a party of 2. I was able to get a high top table within 10 minutes of waiting though. My husband and I tried the coal roasted goat cheese appetizer, wings app, a margarita pizza, and the coal roasted turkey sandwich (they’re able to serve turkey on the side if you don’t eat meat). I would highly recommend trying all of these options. Their food comes in fairly large portions so expect to either take home leftovers or to share entrees. The service was friendly and the food was great.

I got a pizza to go. I had the #5, or I called it, lots of meat pizza.This place is brand new to White Bear Lake, MN. I got there at 4pm when they open, and the place was filling up with people. Seems like everyone wants to try this place. Besides the beer prices being high priced, $7.50 for a pint of Peroni, the pizza was good. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I will go back and try the deep dish pizza next time.

# of times at this location/year = 5-10 Another excellent pizza place. Hard to eat anything but pizza in White Bear Lake with all these excellent pizza places opening. Pezzo's offers a bit more variety and a sit down style meal as opposed to a Punch Pizza, but in terms of taste you shouldn't be disappointed. Again, as in Punch Pizza its a bit more pricier, but you'll again taste the difference. The restaurant has good service and is a nice place (clean - thanks Pezzo's for keeping it clean). to sit down and eat. Parking doesn't seem to be a problem. I can't tell if the deserts are any good or not, as we have never tried any (too full from the pizza). Keep it up Pezzo's.

Great food - highly recommend the cipollini cheese dip. Salads easily serve three to five people - I recommend the Heart of Sicily or the Ceasar. The pizza is amazing!! I have had the deep dish which serves three. Be prepared for a 45 minute wait, but it is well worth it! The coal fired pizzas are a great choice - I usually use the "build your own" option. but have enjoyed the Tedesca and the Prosciutto. The service is impeccable and I cannot say that about many restaurants today. Their attention to details - chilled plates and forks for salad is one example. Overall a a great dining experience and affordable!

I dont usually share reviews but tonight was a must. arrive about 710. order 2 ices teas and red pepper dip app. few minutes go by order deep dish pizza and our waiter tells us he has been cut and introduces us to new waitress. dip comes and its amazing. so delicious. About 45 minutes go but and our originat waiter comes abd tells us ge forgot to put our pizza in or remind the new waitress about our order. and he would get the deep dish for us for free. and if you wanted he could have a wood fired made asap for us to eat asap. the dip was so great and filling we opted for deep dish to go and a tiramisu right then. another 45 minutes goes by and new waitress brings plates and deep dish. I ingormed her we asked for a tiramisu roght away and the deep dish to go. she takes it back and brings it in a box along with an amazing tiramisu. brings the check next. about $19. we gove here the card and she comes back with the card and reciept a few seconds late. tye ammount charged and the receipt do not match the $19 of the original receipt. now was $37. she then fixes the total and we leave almost 3 hours later. We were patient and nice, they were apologetic and fixed every mistake. some times things go differently then expected. in the eat the food we ate was fantastic and the story we witnessed was hilarious. we will be back.

Ordered our pizza and watched the orders come up on the shelf... One order was being bypassed for about 10 minutes... Other orders would come up and get picked up immediately but not this one... Turns out it was our order and cheese had cooked off. When we refused it and told why they couldn't understand it... They reheated it...instead of making new one.. We won't go back. Too bad... it was good pizza.

Pezzo has great food and many different options to choose from. This is my favorite spot for Chicago style and their Baked Cipollini Dip is out of this world delicious. They do need to do something about the waiting area in the front though. It's very crowded, loud, and the group of people waiting for a table interferes with the meal of the unfortunate people that have to be seated by the door.
