I think we had the Spanish chicken pizza. It was very good we brought home half of it and ate it for dinner. The pretzel was delicious as well, we got the cheese and the mustard. The staff are nice. I'd recommend anyone go here just to have a chill vibe and bite to eat. There was also trivia being done when I was there. That sounded really fun as well.

Pizza Luce never disappoints. Their food, establishment and customer service is excellent. This location in Richfield has a great patio. We ordered Bloody Mary's that came with a lemon, and lime wedge with a skewer of olives. For lunch we had a large build your own pizza. Alfredo sauce with chicken, artichoke, and green olives. It was delicious. Great, fast customer service as well. We spent less than 50 bucks so the price was decent. Thanks Pizza Luce we will come again.

Dude this place is great!!! We’re from Utah and come out here a few times a year. Been twice now, and this time got delivery to the Great Wolf Lodge. They have free delivery! (Still tip the driver!!!) Greek salad and the fire breathing dragon is our favorite. My daughter just gets a huge slice of cheese pizza and we cut it in half and she’s good for the night. Best pizza around town

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, wide selection of pizza. They tasted nice. Though they used to have the sauce underneath the fire dragon. Not sure if they didn't this time because they added a side cup. Still highly recommended for pizza fan

Only place they wanted to seat us was outside although there was a storm moving in. We ended up getting seated inside after a short while. At first things were good buy shortly after our pizza came out it felt like we were forgotten about. All of us (4 total) cups went empty for a long time and the waitress was well too busy to notice. It was crazy when she did show up tho the service was OK but that was far and few between. The food was pretty good and the real champ tho was the desert!!

This place came recommended by the front desk clerk at our hotel and it did not disappoint! Our waiter Tommy was really nice and even gave us some ideas on places to visit while we were in town. Our group got a variety of food from spaghetti, a slice of pizza, a margarita pizza, to turkey club sandwiches and everyone was happy with what they got.

My great nephew and I went there on a late Saturday afternoon. It was a beautiful late summer day- we sat out on the patio. I cannot say enough good things about our server Travis. He brought great energy to our whole time there. Great smile also. I was surprised to see all the vegan and vegetarian options for the pizzas and pasta on the menu. Good amount of choice there. Our pizzas were delicious!

What I received of my pizza was pretty good... but only half of it came with toppings, the rest was just bread. They credited me for the pizza, but still a bummer it didn't come with all the toppings.

LOVED this pizza and salad! I ordered a custom pizza well done (love that option!), and they make their Cesar dressing in house. Even my husband liked it and he usually hates salad dressing. I ordered delivery through their site, it was easy and fast.

First time having Lucé sober 😂 it did not disappoint. Went with just a medium cheese pizza and it was delicious! Service was great. Went during trivia which I was not a fan of but won't knock them for that. Although having it on a Saturday seems weird. When you'd think people just want to enjoy some good food and company on the weekend. Feel the same way about bar bingo on the weekend at other places.

Ordered a luce and a margarita pizza. The margarita could of used more sauce and cheese. However the luce pizza was great, no complaints. Service was awesome. Definety fresh ingredients used.

Excellent service. Accommodations were graciously made by the chef for our dietary restrictions. The price for feeding a family here was about $100 for 4 GF pizzas and one order of wings. The ingredients were good, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. The bathrooms are located in the basement of the building which you can access through stairs or an elevator. This was our 3rd visit, and our first time taking children with us. They were treated well.

Recommend (full pizzas/food only) The last two times that I've bought slices-to-go they have been small slices. I didn't check both times until I got home and was disappointed. I hope they aren't changing the sizes of their pizza slices to go. I don't know if I will stop their for just a slice anymore. Otherwise, I'm still a fan of Pizza Luce. This location does have trivia and is clean/nice. I would only buy full pizzas from this location if you go.

Yum! Cant wait to come back! Originally stopped in for a drink and dessert. After seeing their awesome salad list, in large and small portions, I opted for a small salad and a slice of pizza. Great choice! Totally hit the spot! Great service! Great drinks (spicy marg)! And you can catch your games here! * Vegan and Vegetarian friendly Do itttt!!!

Haven't ordered from this location in over a year due to poor quality. Love Luce and have never had issues at other locations. Yet again, inconsistent food quality. Salads, great. Two orders of carrot cake, one of them twice the size of the other. Lasagna is currently in the oven as it is ice cold in the middle. Did I do somthing to you guys? I mean, really! I look at all the great reviews and wonder what happened that my experience is so sub-par. I'll eventually try again as I am an optimist. Here's hoping that optimism is rewarded.

Received non requested dust bunny topping that fell from the light above on top of our pizza. Yummy. It looks as if the pictures and light fixtures and walls have never been cleaned. The pizza was delicious even with the dust 🐰

Of course they have delicious pizza but we LOVE their weekend brunch! We dine in often, and order pizza delivery on a regular basis. Their Caesar salad is one of my favorites and I’ve had a LOT of Caesar salads 😂

I wrote to them once asking to expand delivery to my area. A week or two later the delivery zone expanded. That customer service cannot be beat. The pizza is delicious too (the Luce is a favorite, extra cheese!) and I am so grateful to have a pizza place where I can bring vegan friends!

This place is great, it’s always top in service and great food. So why not 5 stars? The October fest pizza didn’t make the cut, stingy toppings and way over priced at $30. I have never been disappointed with anything else at this great place. Maybe just a bad trip?

Great experience! We had a large group with several toddlers (we made a reservation as head of time) and our server was a total rockstar about it! Seriously, we were all so impressed! And the food was great, as you’d expect from Luce!

Server, Sydney, was AMAZING! She was friendly & very helpful/informative. I had trouble deciding on a beer... Sydney was well versed. However, the restaurant's "rule" about not letting a paying customer taste a tap beer before buying, is a bit silly. Imagine it doesn't help sell the beer. We had artichoke dip and a Bavarian pretzel. The art dip was ok, the bread it was served with also just ok. The pretzel was hard & cheese sauce very much like Cheez Whiz... left something to be desired.

Really good pizza (I did a make your own with bacon, green peppers, and green olives). Good beer selection on tap, too. We sat outside which was very pleasant and the service was prompt. Update, visited again June 2021 and had the Maximus pizza. If you love olives, sausage, bacon, peppers, wow this is perfection. The picture shows half Maximus, half Wrangler (their barbecue chicken pizza)

Our organization ordered Pizza Luce to introduce some out of state visitors to a Minnesota classic! The pizzas were delicious and delivered early and warm! Baked potato pizza, the classic Luce, and Lil Ralphie (seasonal) were the favorites.

Best vegan pizza’s around & that’s all that needs to be said 🤩 I usually get the Vegan Athena (pictured) and it’s so so good. They use Violife vegan cheeze and for the bruschetta they use a “rinotta cheeze” and I swear it’s better than the non vegan option. All the management as well as servers are great too & know the menu inside and out. Ask what their favorite dish is & don’t forget to try the desert!

I just moved into the area and ordered from here for delivery. The employee on the phone was very friendly and very easy to hear. We called to verify that they deliver to our location. We were told it would take 30-45 minutes for our pizza to arrive and it took about 25 minutes and the driver was a refreshing interaction to past experiences with drivers from different chains. The pizza was hot and delicious! The seasoning is perfect. The vegan peanut butter bar was excellent and it always makes me question how it could possibly be vegan because of its flavor. I added a picture of a slice left in the fridge overnight to show how fantastic their pizza looks.

This location is great! Friendly staff and bartenders. We usually grab a bar seat and order the Ruby Rae pizza. Their spicy tuna salad is also really, really good. (I know what you're thinking.) Believe me - It's good! Always a great variety of beers on tap too. Give it a go!

Wow! New Year's eve and I needed 7 pizzas. It almost took me longer to make up my mind about what to order than it did to get the pizzas hot in a box. I never got a bite because colleagues finished them before I got to the cafeteria...I must get back there!

It was a nice place for brunch. They got a good brunch menu and gf options. What was weird was they sat a big group of people next to us, when there was clearly open tables. Was just a bit uncomfortable. Then the waiter mixed up our credit cards and checks, when they each have separate tins. So that... Was odd.

Phenomenal food! They have great vegetarian and vegan options with gluten-free available as well. Came here for Friday dinner and we were served promptly even as it was very busy. The drink selection for local mn breweries was amazing as well. Staff could have been friendlier but didn't hamper the experience.

The Fire breathing dragon pizza is the best thing I've ever had here. Had it with separately with jerk chicken and jerk tofu. The tofu was cooked to perfection. I really should venture out to a different pizza. Staff was nice

Came out to this with a buddy of mine at midnight. Where else can you can eat late without ordering fast food. They have excellent pastas, sandwiches, wings and other finger foods, but most importantly the za! If you're not much into food, maybe try a brew or wine.

There's not many places for breakfast/brunch in Richfield and I don't think people realize they have brunch on the weekends! The brunch menu is ALMOST better than the regular menu. Huevos Luceros and Cajun Skillet are my fave!

My family really enjoyed the pizza here. The flavour combos weren't crazy but the ingredients were fresh and the dough was slightly chewy. I would recommend the Ruby Rae. Good local beer on tap too. Kids menu was steller.

Great food and great place for family. The patio was very comfortable even on a warm night. Their pizza is top notch. We had a pepperoni and sausage plus a cheese only for the vegetarian in the crowd. They don’t deep fry any food their so we asked for our wings to be extra done. They are delicious. They also have vegan nuggets on the appetizer menu which were very good tasting and even as a non vegetarian I would order them again. Traditional spaghetti was also ordered at our table and it was great. Plenty of leftovers to bring home from this night out.

After waiting a half hour to get a table on a Saturday night, we ordered drinks and an appetizer. Our pizza took exceptionally long, but the manager was proactive and told us before we could complain that he apologized and wanted us to be happy. He offered a discount that I thought was acceptable. The food was good & the staff professional. I'd definitely go back.

Good pizza, multiple vegan options. Possibly the most vegan friendly pizza joint I've been to that isn't entirely vegan. While the food was good, the 'clean' plates were wet and had bits of broccoli or something on them. My knife had dried cheese stuck to it. If not for the dirty dishes, this place would get 5/5, and I'd still eat here again

Love the vegan pizza, staff is nice, and food is great! if you order it to go make sure it’s what you ordered before you leave every single time, I found personally that I end up getting meat instead of tofu after ordering on the phone for an all vegan pizza, gotten chicken on the fire breathing dragon three times now, after paying and tipping well it just hadn’t happened in a while but happened again last night.. my boyfriend and I ordered late so we got home I bit into it realizing it was chicken, had to toss it out which sucks, was looking forward to it all day after work and wasted time, driving and money and tasted meat first time in years 😞..

Gyro Pizza is a must have. Move over Ranch there is a new pizza condiment in town. Cucumber sauce.... Wow this maybe the best non traditional pizza I have ever had. Really it is a gyro open face with melted mozzarella. How can that get better. The cucumber sauce that is how. From the crunch of the green cabage to the flavor in the meat. The balance of refreshing cucumbers and red onion. If you have not tried this, head out tonight for a treat.

Okay, so here's the deal with Pizza Luce: they have a lot of options and can accommodate a lot of dietary needs. And, you know, they're good. I feel like quality is slipping a smidge as the chain gets bigger and bigger - I'm not overly enthused with their brunch anymore - but I was there Thursday and had a supper greens salad - my favorite - and GF artichoke dip and they were both great!

I've called and complained about this. I don't mind giving a tip but when it feels like I'm held in contempt or there's an expectation for a tip, I don't tip. Unfortunately I don't tip at this location very often, I can't, I commonly feel that the money to buy the pizzas that I buy there seems like it's not enough. I feel pressure by the employees to add a tip more than any other business I have ever visited

Good late night food and bar. Apps are good after being out somewhere. The late night staff on weekdays is subpar. The "best server in the place" (his own characterization to us) is snippy nearly every time we go here. (We have been going weekly for some months.) The late night manager came out tonight to apologize for our food being delayed an hour and assured us our food would be comped. That didn't happen until we reminded him. He then comped one of us (we were on separate checks) and not the other. When it was pointed out that both of us had our orders delayed an hour, he snapped back that he would only comp one. I was the unlucky guy who must have ordered the wrong thing to receive the same treatment. Both the server and the manager's attitudes were combative and simply unacceptable. We won't be back. Too bad. They're losing a regular weekly customer of anywhere from 6-10 people.

I first discovered Pizza Luce back in 2011. There are not too many places around the metro selling pizza by the slice. However, I have been ordering Pizza Luce for delivery & pickup since 2014. At one point, the Pizza Luce Seward location was practically my late-night kitchen back when I was living in the Longfellow neighborhood. Most of my experiences have been positive & encouraged repeat business. The quality is stellar. I noticed some of their menu items are sourced organically & locally; I am unsure if this applies to the broader menu overall. I love the salads & pastas, particularly the mostaccioli, gluten free manicotti, Caesar salad with house made dressing, & Greek salad. Their house made marinara is also flavorfully exceptional & should be sold in grocery stores! I would however like to see dishes like eggplant parmigiana featured on the menu. Pizza Luce offers a variety of vegetarian & vegan options, but it would be most welcoming if they offered “pork free options” such as 100% beef meatballs. As it stands, meatballs are mixed with beef & pork & the only substitute is an item they call "veggie balls." Although they are not bad, but still not the same as 100% beef. More meat-based pork substitutes can potentialize in reaching more customers gastronomically underrepresented such as those of us abstaining from pork for religious reasons.

Tasty pizza for a premium price. Always picked up via curbside. 3 star for overall satisfaction to value. 2 stars off for having the audacity to ask for a tip(they're seriously asking for money to walk out and drop off my order; keep in mind, the only option to pick-up is curbside). Staff seemed friendly but the interaction has always and should always be brief.

The bartender was wonderful. The restaurant is always clean. Even the parking lot is clean. Being someone who works in a restaurant is nice to see another place clean inside and out! Especially now during this crazy time! They even have industry night on sun where if you work in the food service industry you get a discount. Its awesome!!

My husband and I headed to Pizza Lucé for a date night. We were seated quickly. There was a seasonal pizza available: butternut squash. We tried it and it was wonderful! My husband ordered a local microbrew beer. It is rare that he is able to find a brew that he hasn't tried yet when we are out at a neighborhood eatery. Pizza Lucé had one. That is an achievement! So far, I have been quite happy with their tuna melt, their veggie ball sandwich, and today I had their spaghetti w/veggie balls. It was absolutely excellent. Pizza Luce is always great food. If you want to buy slices just order ahead because they will take 15 min to cook after you order which is a bummer but no big deal. Service was spot on. We were with family who visits this location often and the server remembered my brother. The pace of food brought out (apps and dinner) was perfect. The server somehow managed to stop by just as our drinks were running low and asked if we wanted more. We had a 5 year old with us and our server made sure to accommodate our request to bring her slice of pizza first. All this great dining experience while the place was busy. I loved this place! This is the suburban version of the legendary Pizza Lucé. Its like the real thing was gentrafied and tamed down for you.. I.E Not as many tattoos Or piercings on the staff, the staff here is friendly without that punkish attitude you grew to love if you went to uptown Lucè in 90s / early 2000s which is disappointing, but the Food Is Excellent! It was like seeing an old Friend who has grown up and is successful now, I am happy for Lucè, but I miss my punky friend.

I was driving home from an appointment at Southdale hospital and drove up and parked in the carryout. Unable to navigate to order online I called to place my order. The person answered the phone had a kind friendly voice. She answered my questions and took my order very professionally and politely. Great service and a large variety menu of Italian flare. We had a unique loaded baked potato pizza. It was excellent and I recommend it for something different. There are traditional pizzas also. They did have vegan selections on the menu. If you have picky eaters in your group, they will all find something on the menu. Also, they have a good craft beer and wine menu.

Always great service and equally wonderful food. Already well aware that the pizza is amazing, I finally visited for brunch. I'm not a Benedict person, but the Salmon Benedict was amazing. So many wonderful flavors, perfectly blended together. If you're looking for something unique to Lucé, go for a Benedict. If you're looking for a unique pizza experience, I would highly recommend the baked potato pizza. It truly never disappoints. Side note: Also an excellent choice for a late night drink. Open very late, every night. Many craft beer choices as well.

I love the vegan options. I also really like that the menu has a seasonal portion. The ever-changing menu keeps the experience fresh and fun ☺ The dips for the lucky bird nuggets are really yummy! Great local, accessable, pizza place. Lands squarely between artisan and national chain pizza, both in quality and price. They have hot sandwiches that are decent but not spectacular, we love the turkey pesto. Good atmosphere for dine in, full bar, decent beer menu, good patio, family friendly (bits and bites kids meal is the best kids meal ever). Service is typically very good, but casual. Much better alternative than pizza hut or Domino's if you just like plain old pepperoni pizza, and prices are comparable and their delivery is consistent and timely.

Brought my blind aunt out for some quality food and was blown away by there compassion. My aunt chose for us the meat pizza, I've been trying to eat less meat over the years, and this pizza threw me right back into the omnivore camp. But don't get me wrong. There freaking lucky birds are still my favorite appetizer. They honestly taste better than normal chicken nuggets that you can get from finer restaurants. Root beer was great too. Sorry I couldn't remember the servers name, it was a nick or a Greg. They also had a cheeky it's sunny in Philadelphia song playing. Its a little on the pricier side, but it's totally worth it. Will definitly dine here again.

After another day of mall walking and photos we stopped at Pizza Luca. We have to thank former Indiana Idol star Joyce Stever Rodin Taste 4.00 Service 4.5 Value When we walked in we were asked if we had a reservation. Thankfully we didn't need one. We had a 10 minute wait and were seated. Our server arrived and the guy was super friendly. He took our drink order and was super patient as Amy took time to decide on the appetizers. I think 3 times he said I can come back. Amy finally decided and off he went. We opted for meatballs with garlic toast and some garlic cheese bread. The cheese bread was great and the meatballs were pretty good too. Amy really liked the sauce on the meatballs. I tried a German root beer that was really good. A cross between sasparilla (like at Renaissance fair) and A&W. We opted for 2 mediums. 1 medium was called "The Bear" Sausage, peperoni, ham, chicken, and bacon. I thought it was good but it had a bit of a zip. Im a wimp when it comes to spice. Alex Varella and Tony Varella said it was really good. Tony donest like ham on pizza but said it was a good balance. Alex said it was the best meat pizza he had. His only complaint was too thin. I too am a fan of thicker crust. The 2nd was a sausage pep combo. Amy and Tony both preferred that pizza. Amy doesn't like chicken on her pizza. For dessert we split "Wild Blueberry pie" with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was pretty good. The server said no one has ever asked for it like that. I thought was odd but ok. With the appetizers dessert and 2 pizzas the total $86. The rootbeer was not free refills. So price was a bit high but 2 appetizers, 2 pizzas, 2 desserts. All of the staff was super friendly. And Service was great!

The pizza was delicious. There aren't that many places I would want to go to a sit down meal and have pizza, but this place is definitely the exception. I got the ruby are pizza and it was perfect! Great sauce, the tomatoes were seasoned well, the perfect amount of heat. I would definitely go back. Make sure to check this place out! They also have brunch options and I was tempted to get a breakfast burritos but couldn't turn down the pizza.

Full disclosure I frequently visit this Pizza Luce. They have a good happy hour and the staff is really friendly and with repeated visits they will get to know you. I like that you can get just a slice of pizza and you are not locked into a full pizza. They have the same Luce brand ideals, offering vegetarian and dairy or gluten free options. They also have a good brunch on the weekends.

Wow! Just in town visiting the sites and happened upon this gem via Google. First, superb customer service! Very friendly and helpful! Amazing bruschetta! The flavor is beyond belief! We weren't sure what to order for a main dish but wanted to try some pizza. The waiter suggested we do half and half. We chose half baked potato and half ruby red. The crust was some of the best I have ever had and both sides were super delish!! I just wish it was local for us back home in Missouri! We would be back weekly until we had exhausted their menu! Great bloody Mary bar with all of the extras you want from a bloody bar. 5 minute wait but a quite a few tables are open. Guessing not enough staff. Pizzas were delic and made fairly quickly. Construction made it a little difficult to see but it's findable and right off the highway. We will go back next time we drive to the twin cities.

Great place for consistently delicious pizza and pasta. They have a very wide range of gluten free and vegan options as well if that's your thing. Solid selection of beers on tap. The only drawback to this location is that parking spaces in the surface lot can be difficult to come by during peak dining hours. However there is plenty of street parking available. Delicious! The staff was friendly and prompt, even with a group of 6 (we made a reservation as well). My husband and I ordered the large Ruby Rae and barely ate half of it because it was so filling. It's a unique pizza that's "upside down" in that the cheese is under the sauce. I'd definitely make another trip just for this pizza!

I love the versatility of this place: it’s good for big parties, work meetings, solo work time with a computer at the bar, a night out watching the big game, or even a first date. Good beer, decent drinks, great variety of pizza and food. They have a goat cheese focaccia appetizer that is particular delicious. Staff is nice and friendly, my only complaint is that the bathrooms are in the basement and VERY cold in the winter. But hey, it’s Minnesota so just dress warm. The awesome patio makes up for it in the other three (shorter) seasons!

This was my first experience at a Pizza Luce and I was very impressed. I had heard it being talked up as the best pizza place in the Twin Cities so I came in with high expectations. The menu was very diverse as it had many different pizzas, pastas, and sandwiches to choose from. There is also a brunch menu at certain times. The pizza itself was very good and very reasonably priced. The crust was fairly thin and light with a nice seasoned flavor. There are many choices of to choose from as well as a gluten-free crust option. I would definitely eat here again.

Have been to this location twice. They actually managed to get my eggs just right. Hopkins location has troubles and I go to that one most often. The hashbrowns sat in the window a bit to long, top half was a little cold but underneath was warm. The hollandaise was a bit lemony but still very good. Server was very nice and attentive. They would get a 5 star if the hashbrowns were warm all the way around. Have been back a number of times, have had build your own gluten free 🍕 and is always good. So up to 5 stars. Touch and go with the breakfast so far still.

I have visited this location for many years especially being that I live downtown for 6 I've had just about everything on this menu from vegetarian to carnivore everything here is pretty good I would suggest tuna caliente. They have added some new items to their menu I walked in the other day to get a garden salad with chicken and indecisive I became when I saw they have more salads to choose from. The female behind the counter accommodated and put the two salads that I wanted together in one and of course added chicken I was very happy with the service here and I also remember that they have a buffalo chicken pizza that is out of this world I know they serving on the weekends I don't know if they've changed that rule but if you get a chance to ever order it I'd highly recommend it I'm not much of a buffalo chicken eater but I ever get a chance to have their buffalo chicken pizza I'm on it.... You must try!

Very good! The aroma hit me first, like fresh herbs and garlic. Ordered the Athena pizza vegan style. Was amazing. Tasted very fresh and came out fast! Wasn't sure to use vegan cheese or the vegan Rinotta cheese, so did half and half. Vegan cheese has the consistency of cheese whereas the Rinotta was more crumbly and had a bit more of a bite. Both very good. Awesome service and good music. They said the menus were new but the paper was dirty and ink was wearing off. Not a big deal. We didn't finish so they boxed it up in a pizza box. Nothing better than a pizza box in the fridge the next day...everybody loves leftovers! I'll be trying hoagies and sandwiches my next visit!

I've been here several times and love it! Only drawback is I've had a few order mix ups when ordering vegan - sometimes whatever I ordered will have real cheese on it or the order will be incorrect, but they're always fast to fix it and often give a small discount for the mess up. I'm still giving five stars because accidents happen even in the finest of restaurants and it's all how they handle it that matters. Otherwise the food is always great, drink selection is superb, one of my top places to meet family and friends for lunch and dinner. I also recently had brunch here (didn't know luce had brunch!!) and my vegan breakfast burrito was absolutely to DIE for. I cleaned my plate. So if you can try to make it here for brunch you won't regret it!!

Came here twice for brunch. First time, food took a good while to come out. If you're in a time crunch, be aware of that. Second time I came (about two weeks later) I ordered the biscuits and gravy entree, which oddly enough came out to be a smaller portion than the one my friend ordered two weeks prior. Even in the midst of a pandemic, our experience was top-notch-- just as we've come to know and expect from Pizza Luce. This is probably the fourth or fifth of their locations I've visited and they have such a consistent brand across the board. We live outside the Twin Cities metro but look to see if there's one close by our destination when we get there. My husband's favorite brownie sundae isn't on their "covid menu," guessing because of contamination risk, but that's literally the only bad thing we can say about it!

Love that some Luce locations have weekend brunch. It's also a great spot for a large group and they take reservations(!) I recently switched my regular order from the breakfast burrito to the Lost Cowboy (veg sausage) and I think it's better than the standard version with actual meat. Check it out: Bruschetta, Focaccia Katerina, Lasagna Abruzzi, Mostaccioli... and that's not even the pizza! The pizza is (self) proclaimed the Best in Minnesota. Seriously, these folks know their way around a pizza crust. And pizza sauce. And every topping you can throw on top. "Without a solid foundation, you'll have trouble creating anything of value." -- Erika Oppenheimer, ACT and SAT test prep coach Ms. Oppenheimer could have been talking about the pizza crust at Pizza Luce. The crust is a perfect vessel for delivering delicious pizza, without being too doughy, too thick, too thin or really, "too" anything. You're welcome to create your own pizza, but the specialty pizzas on Pizza Luce's menu are original and outside-the-box creations. If you're a big time carnivore, try The Bear. Loaded full of Italian sausage, pepperoni, marinated chicken, ground beef and Canadian bacon, The Bear is not recommended for vegetarians. For pizza you never knew you needed (wait until you taste it), try the Baked Potato Pizza. This pizza crust is smothered in buttery, garlic baby red mashed potatoes, topped with broccoli, fresh diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese and chopped bacon and served with a side of sour cream. Also available gluten-free on request. The BPP will fill you up pretty fast, so get excited about your to-go box which may feed you all week long. Pizza Luce's Richfield location is great for couples or large family gatherings. Last time we visited, we had a group of 14 people for a birthday celebration. Great atmosphere, the staff was initially helpful with our group. The server (only one) assigned to our group left huge periods of time where she left and never returned to ask if anyone needed anything. Since most people in our group had refillable drinks (water or soda), attentiveness was desired in waitstaff. Especially in a large group and especially when multiple people notice. For the food's sake, we will be back. Service is something that can be hit or miss, I'm hoping this was an off day.

I've always had a great delivery experience at this Richfield location, but tonight, driver Justin C decided to tip himself $2.72 to round the total to a nice even $30 and when I called the store, the manager said he'll take it off, but he also was trying to defend the driver and say that he wouldn't have been able to put the tip on by himself, which is not true because in my email receipt, there is an image of the digital signature (he signed a line - see pic). Tonight, my signature was not prompted, he basically gave me my food and went silently on his way - sketchy. Manager said maybe it was a different store? No sorry, same delivery location for the past 5 months. He acted oblivious to electronic signatures and mumbled something about covid and signing paper receipts. My driver from yesterday had me tap a button on a device to tip him - apparently that was a personal app on his phone that he knew nothing about? Like, you can't even tell me how your own store's tip system is run? And when I told him order 626, he recited back 262. Is he intentionally trying to cover for his driver? Honestly felt like I was being gaslighted because he was implying that I put the tip on myself. Very weird indeed. I am just thoroughly sketched out at this point, lol the food was good but I suppose all good things have an end.

Pizza Lucé is hands-down my favorite pizza place in Minneapolis. Vegan or vegetarian? They have vegan cheese and tons of meat alternatives. Kosher? They have beef crumbles for your pizza. Amazing food, good service. The gouda mac and cheese is to die for!

Don't let the "fire breathing" part of the Fire Breathing Dragon pie fool you, it's not too hot but it is very tasty! Not quite a BBQ/Hawaiian pizza, and not quite a Thai pizza, but somewhere in between.

Ordered delivery. It was only a medium sized pizza and my house is easily 4 miles away. Not only was delivery fast, it was faster than the fast food pizza place which starts with a 'D' and ends with 'ominos' that is like 1/8 of the distance away. And the food was great. Best pizza in minneapolis for sure.

Very friendly staff. Great food and atmosphere. Just be aware, they are very busy most nights of the week and especially the weekend, so there may be a wait if you want a specific table type or have more than 4 people.

Been here several times since they have opened. Great atmosphere with top notch food ( when you FINALLY get it ) and good beer selection. They have a serious problem with either wait staff or kitchen, or both with slow service and missing orders. While they have only been open at this location a short time, they are not first timers as they have several other locations around town. Hope they get thier act together soon.

Coming from the East Coast my bar is set really high for pizza performance. NYC pizza is great but some of the smaller shops in Connecticut actually put out the best pies. Pizza Luce is the only pizzeria I've found in this area that can match that level of pizza perfection. The bulgogi pizza they've had all summer is a great example as is the fire breathing dragon, the the ruby rae and wild mushroom truffle oil pie(only for serious fungophiles!) I can't believe I liked baked potato on a pizza but they did it right. I hope to see them try some more traditional offerings like a pesto pizza or prosciutto blanco just so I could truly compare them to the best the Old Neighborhood has to offer.

Saturday brunch was top notch as far as food and service. Prices were way lower than what I was expecting. The Bloody Mary's were flavorless though. Good selection of things to add to the bloody, but no flavor in the mix.
