Great food and good service!! Nice menu options. They have a few drink specials. Very satisfied with our food selections. Lots of seating. Good location. Fun spot to watch the goings on of Lake and Lyndale in Uptown. Good spot for great Greek food.

Finally got around to trying this place and man, let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations. You wouldn’t expect the glamorous, immersive, and cozy interior ambience you get from its plain exterior. Walking in, you’ll find arched entryways, bright murals, and Greek artifacts tastefuly adorning the walls. I felt transported. Service was very friendly and we felt well taken care of. The food is authentic and oh so flavorful. I highly recommend the rich htipiti appetizer, the juicy sovlaki chicken kebabs, and decadent walnut-filled baklava. The menu is trulu awesome. I wanted to try everything. You can’t go wrong! Easy 5 stars. İ hope to be back soon.

I wish I liked the food here more because the patio and service are great. The dishes I had were all a bit bland. Not bad at all but not great. This place could be fantastic if they’d just go a bit harder with the seasoning.

It's Greek to me is the best! It's been my family favorite since the 1990's. We enjoyed the Spanakopita, Greek salad, Tzatziki, Paidakia, Chicken Gyro, Beef & Lamb Gyro. The staff is superb and the patio is amazing! It's a great date spot too! I can't wait to return

We went into this building thinking it was a different restaurant and decided to stay anyways. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was great and I really enjoyed the food there. We were even given a complimentary dish in the middle of our service which was also delicious. Will definitely be visiting again.

Restaurant week review - We enjoyed our visit quite a bit. Kudos to them for having a very robust restaurant week menu. Some other places we've tried seem to be a tad on the skimpy side. Not here - I felt their intent was to give a good overview of their menu and leave you feeling satiated. We tried 3 apps - all tasty, loved the Htipiti perhaps the best, but the other 2 were delicious as well. Of the 2 entrees offered, we tried both. The chops, albeit a bit small, were cooked perfectly with a pink center. The braised lamb was so tender and flavorful. The meals came with a side, spinach pie and pita bread. A filling meal. The desserts were very good and the traditional choices. Love baklava, a small piece but probably for the best! The restaurant is comfortable, service was great and the chef even stopped by to get our feedback. We felt welcome and hope to return! I believe there is street parking but we did the inexpensive pay lot in the back which is convenient.

Staff was really friendly and helpful with the menu. Food was great too, gotta try the Greek fries. Lamb gyro dinner is a classic must. Outdoor patio is great for nice weather and covid!

Absolutely delicious. My other half wanted Mediterranean tonight and led us to FINALLY trying this beautiful gem of a restaurant. John and Bridget served us and they were spectacular. The octopus was perfect. It was the only thing I managed to get a picture of. Go here. Enjoy the food. Enjoy the atmosphere. enjoy the wine.

The Shrimp Santorini is delicious. The spanokopita is legendary. The service is friendly and efficient. It's Greek To Me has been a favorite of mine for 30 years.

This was one of our go-to places when we lived in the Twin cities, so we were super excited to visit. The menu is scaled down and unfortunately our favorite dishes were not available. We split the eggplant appetizer and a large village salad. The village salad was good, but missing the green peppers (so simply onions and tomatoes in vinaigrette). My giro sandwich was good and my better half was satisfied with his giro platter, but underwhelmed by the sides. Service was good, but the prices were high for the food and service. The neighborhood has really declined. If I had to recommend a good Greek restaurant, I'd suggest The Naughty Greek instead.

The food is good, I always enjoy the gyro. Recently I ordered a side of potatoes and was massively ripped off, not super happy. They charge $4.50 for the side and I was literally given six quartered potatoes. Overall the food is decent but this just feels a bit unfair.

Great gyros, wonderful staff, and a selection of Greek spirits you won't find anywhere else in the city. Can be spendy (you'll get what you pay for!) but also doesn't have to be. Love having this as one of my neighborhood spots. A Minneapolis institution.

We went here yesterday to celebrate Father’s Day a week early. If you are looking for parking, there’s a pay parking lot behind the restaurant down an alley. The customer service was good and the food was also good. We had 2 plates of their calamari, which was excellent, along with saganaki (a cheese that’s on fire when it comes out). I ordered their combination dinner. My mom ordered the shrimp santorini, which was excellent! I would go here again.

Menu needs updating to allow more enjoyable dining, i.e. gf/gfr, df, v, vg Some restaurants in Europe include 13 allergens and a simple grid layout on the menu to display it. Reply to owner: Ok, it is the wait staff's responsibility, but I don't work for you! Consider it could take you five minutes to write in pen on a menu, before customers arrive. This to avoid putting the customer and your staff on-the-spot and in the position of ordering food that has had an important ingredient removed, or not finding one item on your menu to order other than salad.

The octopus appetizer was incredibly tender and tasty, I didn't know octopus could taste like that. Warm, soft pita bread. The lamb portion was small but was stellar. The moussaka was also delicious. The ouzo was great quality, it turned very cloudy when added to ice like it's supposed to and it had a great taste. I would come back, this is a great unpretentious spot in uptown with good food.

I went here for a celebration, and we had a variety of dishes served to us with appetizers, salads, and main dishes. I loved everything that was put in front of me. There was not one dish that was a flop. The people were also very friendly and helpful. If you like Greek food, then you should absolutely try this place out.

I used to go there all the time, then they closed. They used to carry this amazing soap. Yes.....soap. My first time back was a few days ago. I'm not sure that my waiter was sober, he was nice, but forgetful, clumsy, lentil soup wasn't as good, but the Greek salad was good. Amazing before, just so so now

Love this place! Had a great lunch with friends there on Sunday, before the show at the Jungle Theater. I ordered the shrimp Santorini and it was just delicious. All the food was good, and the service was quick and courteous. We'll go back again.

Best Greek in the Twin Cities! Really nice outdoor seating. Great waitstaff. Classic recipes and none of the substitutions I've been seeing from other Greek restaurants lately. Sorry - I want lamb, not chicken, when I order Greek. Octopus, not cod. Thank you for staying true to the traditional and authentic recipes that make Greek cuisine so delicious!

This is the best food in the area. Additionally they don’t over charge unlike side chick or Moto-i. Also this is locally owned by a nice family. Summer time in their patio area is nice as well.

We got the Family Meal with Gyro, and it did not disappoint. Ordering was so easy, and we pulled up in front of the Jungle Theater for curbside pickup, which was amazingly prompt. The food was delicious—fresh, hot, simple, and super generous. The pita and gyros were so so good, and the rice has a delicious pepper/tomato sauce. We’ll have delicious leftovers for lunch tomorrow, and we can’t wait to order again! Their menu has a huge choice of proteins/veggies, but we’re most excited by the Salmon Dinner! Thank you for a delicious meal!!

Not too much spinach taste, it's perfect The Gyro Plate (beef/ lamb) I asked for a couple extra pitas, worth it!!! But plenty of gyro for two. Highly recommend!!!

I love this place! So happy to see one of the original owners back. Same great food, service and prices. The calamari is crisp and delicious. Shrimp saganaki is better than I remember. Watermelon salad is a new favorite. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

First of all let me tell you I am so glad they are back. I have dinned in It’s Greek To Me for nearly 40 years. First time was a couple of hours they had opened their doors for business and the last time was August 30th, 2021. Now I live 2400 miles away and I still go back. The brothers are wonderful people. I have recommended this icon of Minneapolis to hundreds of friends, family and business associates and I get a “thank you” from everyone of them. Once you try the food you are hooked for life like I. If you don’t please let me know and I will refund your money out of my pocket, I have no affiliation or business interest in IGTM. JUST GREAT FOOD.

Nothing Greek about the food. Friendly service, good patio seating but BAD food. No Hummus on the menu, dry pita bread, chicken gyro was sliced chicken breast. Out of lamb chops, chicken kabobs and lamb gyro was okay.

It's back in the original owners hands plus a new young partner, former employee Eric. It's great to see the Arambadgis brothers and Erik providing the food and friendly service we all came to love. It was so sad to watch the decline of a great restraunt under the previous new owners. I as well as others quit going. But now it's back in good hands and is as good as it ever was! I try to have dinner there at least once a week when l'm home, and I just love bringing friends to enjoy a great Greek food experience!

We have been patrons of IGTM almost since they first started like 30 years ago. They sold it a while back and the new owner tanked it. But now it is back in the hands of the original owners son with their classic menu and specials. They are in the same rarefied realm as the best restaurants in Chicago or Detroit’s Greek towns. Nothing else in the Twin Cities comes close. Our personal favorite is to bring a couple of friends and do their family style multi-course dinner.

I literally haven't eaten Greek in close to a decade, and this was the place I chose to fix that. NOT DISAPPOINTED! Holy forking shirt balls, the gyros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! The right amount of meat, the bread so soft, the sauce, all of it, and it was in a combo special with fries!!! In short, LOVE and will not only be back but telling everyone to check this delish place out.

Today was my first time at this amazing place, i am half greek half bulgarian, this place made me feel home while on the other side of the world! Absolutely phenomenal food, definitely becoming a regular! I am only mad at myself that I haven’t found this place years ago! Absolutely amazing!
