Was craving some Ecuadorian food and this place was worth the visit. Ordered the Seco de Carne (beef stew platter) and it came with some protein, sweet plantains, rice, and a side salad. Man was it delicious! My partner ordered the Churrasco platter and that was a flavorful meal too. For the appetizer we ordered Salchipapas which was a bowl of crispy fries and sliced hot dogs. 10/10.

Excellent restaurant tucked away in a nice neighborhood on Lake St. Really authentic cuisine (according to my wife from Ecuador), served piping hot, with fresh flavors bursting throughout. Everything I have ordered has been terrific, especially the Lomo Saltado and the Bandera. A surprise find, go check them out!!

Literally one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had!! The food is absolutely amazing, they give you SO much food, and it's reasonably priced! Barely any wait, the staff were fantastic and so kind! Will absolutely be coming back soon

This was unfortunately a disappointing experience. The veggie entree had one tiny scoop of what looked like frozen peas and carrots in a sauce and a TON of rice. It was bland and incredibly underwhelming. This is not worth $12.99. However, the arepas carnitas was very tasty. I read 5 star review after 5 star review of this place, raving about the entrees and the large portions and the flavors, but this meal just did not live up to that expectation for me.

I love this place. The carne apanada and churrasco are favorites. I prefer the carne apanada without the breading and the kitchen always accommodates my request. (Thank you!) The food is perfectly seasoned and the beans are the best in town. Service staff is friendly and quick with recommendations.

Food is good but kind of expensive for what it is. They could have spent less money on the multiple, large televisions and spent it on paint or tables or both.

Where ever you are right now, STOP and get to this restaurant. The staff was very nice and the food is amazing. We tried eight different dishes and they were all top notch. Having eaten in Quito, Mindo and Guayaquil, I can say, it's as close as you are going to get in the US.

The humitas and arepa con carnitas were my favorite. I also tried the llapingachos and the churrasco. They were good, but very different from the llapingachos and churrasco that my Ecuadoran friends have prepared for me in the past. I found the dishes to be a bit pricey for what you get, but the service is great and it's a nice, relaxing environment.

I had thought the TV’s were in too loud at first, then all the football fans showed up and the energy of the place felt like I was at a live soccer match. Authentic and amazing food and atmosphere!

As someone who's spent time in Ecuador, I can say Galapagos has very authentic Ecuadorian flavor for all the meals I've tried: caldo de gallina, seco de carne, churrasco, and patacones. Service is fast and friendly.
