It was alright pizza. I enjoyed what I got but felt it was a bit lacking for the price Very good veggie pizza! Alright sausage Pizza Pros: - real woodfire pizza - fun restaurant style (it's shaped like a piece of pizza) Cons - quite hectic in the takeout area - price (near 40$ for two medium sized pizzas) Personally I think it had the same vibe as punch but double the price. But overall good place other than that

Element Wood Fire Pizza is a wonderful neighborhood pizza joint. The laid back Chris Isaak vibe includes an inviting patio that serves up some outstanding food. Order at the counter, find a table, and they'll bring your order to you. We had their "Old World" vegetarian Napoli pizza that was a perfect balance of cheese and fresh ingredients along with the best tiramisu I've tasted in a long time. I definitely recommend checking this place out. I'll be back real soon for another "Old World" pizza experience. Yum.

I went classic and got the margherita pizza. I usually order a standard cheese or margherita at most pizza shops if it is my first time there. I want to get a feel for their style and then branch out to their more unique options if I decide to return. The sauce had a nice tang to it, good cheese pull when I picked up the first slice, but the pizza probably could've been cooked just a tad bit longer. It was just a little soft for my liking and was looking for more crunch. Regardless, it hit the spot and it was at my table before I even settled in since that wood fire is hot and cooks pizza quick! They have a really nice outdoor seating section along with indoor too. It wasn't super busy and the workers and customers here were a little more upbeat which always improves the mood. A huge huge plus though is that they have their own parking lot. It isn't huge and maybe has like 10 spots maybe a little less or more, but it was awesome to not have to cruise the side streets to find parking.

Nice little cozy wood fired pizza place, just on the street. Their service is fast, taste is really good, price is right, small but decent selection of drinks to go with food. We liked their vegetarian pizza and artichoke dip, both were good 👍 they have unique taste for sure. We always tried their patio area, inside feels little small. For small group you can still give try but try to be there at non peak hours if you are looking for parking too.

Everything is killer. Perfectly seasoned rosemary flat bread (aka just just the pizza crust with seasoning, which is not a complaint at all!), great salad (not treated like an afterthought), and flawless Neapolitan style pizza. If you’re the only one in there, expect your food to arrive ~90 seconds after you order it. I’d recommend getting there before The Forager mushroom pizza is off the specials menu!

Incredible tasting pizza & super great service! I ordered the “earth” pizza. I was given the “fire” pizza and didn’t realize it because I was so tired. After my mouth was on fire, I realized it. I kindly told the staff primarily because I didn’t want to have taken someone else’s pizza and mess up their queue. A few more slices & a couple glasses of water into the pizza, a staff gives me a free pizza coupon for the mistake and then they made me my original order. I wasn’t expecting it at all which made it all better. Thanks Element Pizza!

Absolutely love this place. It's my first time here and the energy, the quality are second to none. Iv have many pizzas across the world and always wood fired in a brick kiln always stay on top. Great job to the staff. And the pizza was amazing. We had two. One for the sit down and one to go. So amazing. Thanks for the time and energy. I'll be here again next week. I'm working 2 blocks away so I'll get a half dozen next time!!!

We went there on a weekday evening after seeing plenty of wonderful reviews. This place just blew it out of the park. The pizza was perfectly wood fired , just the right amount of crispy on the edges, nice and soft everywhere and held the sauce very well. We had the special mango-habanero based pizza and another margarita based pizza and a rosemary flatbread. To begin with we were conservative in our order in terms of the quantity with just the one pizza and a half-portion of the rosemary bread. However, it was so good that we ordered another and took most of it to-go. Will definitely be back here. Friendly staff, quick service and a dog friendly outdoor patio.

One bite everyone knows the rules! Live nearby and hadn't heard of this place before and decided to give it a try. Very impressed! Great pizza! Love the crispy crusts that comes from that lovely wood oven. These guys make a good pie no doubt. I'd put them right up there with black sheep and young joni as one of the top 5 for sure! Give it a try and you won't be disappointed!

Tiny quaint pizza place with great pizza selections, along with build your own, and specials. I ordered one of the specials, which was the Philly cheese steak. My goodness was it delicious. Plus you have the options to get wine or beer if you'd prefer that to water or pop. Will be coming back here more frequently!

Absolutely my favorite pizza place in the metro. I love the dressing on the Aegean salad and my favorite pizza is the Primo, but all the pizza is good. Wood fired, NOT charred. I also like the way the shop is sort of in its own little world in this teeny spot in Northeast. Feels tucked away from the hubbub. You’ll never regret going to this place. No matter who is working, the food is consistent in quality and “design”. I love you, Element!

I came here for the first time today, after reading an article from Yelp, about the best pizza in the Twin Cities. I love a good pizza, so I made the 30 minute drive from Bloomington. After looking the place up on Google Maps (I’m new to the Twin Cities), I was a little worried about parking, but it was fine, with space for about 7 cars (my estimate may be off) and street parking. When I arrived around 5pm, I expected a little bit of a wait, but I had the whole place to myself! Despite it being slow, all of the staff were pleasant and lady who cashed me out, thanked me for visiting. The restaurant was also very clean and they played a nice selection of music. I like a simple pizza with a little meat and cheese, so I ordered the NordEast (I think that’s how you spell it). I loved the thin crust and they didn’t skimp on the cheese or pepperoni. Definitely giving Pizzeria Lola a run for their money! I’ll definitely be back.

Good enough pie, but to me it's just too close to being neopolitan without committing and you end up with a cognitive dissonance of pizza style that doesn't quite hit the right spot for me. The lack of fresh/buffalo mozzarella + dough lacks the chew of typical wood fired pies. This plus the combo of pretty high prices relative to somewhere like Punch (in which the ingredients seem equally fresh) make this spot a pass for me. Try it for yourself though! It's local and it's tasty.

Ok, so this pizza is only for people that appreciate pizza with incredible choices and flavor! I would call it Neapolitan style pizza and it is always delicious! Good friendly service, cool little place to sit and eat great pizza with a friend!

I had never heard of Element Pizza until last night. I liked the choice selection for each type of pizza, nothing was crazy unique. I ended up with a Fire pizza which I wish I could order a larger size but I understand the marketing around making only mediums.

I was very happy I decided to stop by and give this place a try. The pizza was great and was cooked perfectly... look at how beautiful it looks! I wasn’t able to finish my whole pizza and warmed it up the next and it was still good, too, so if you have leftovers you won’t be disappointed. This is easily my favorite place to grab some pizza. I was so impressed by the interior my first time coming here - there's wood everywhere! When it came to the food, it blew me away! You could definitely taste the difference. The fresh ingredients danced on my tastebuds with every bite. The owners are very personable and the staff members are all super nice. By the end of my meal, I can honestly say that my stomach (and my wallet!) was very full & I was extremely satisfied. I highly recommend that you check Element Pizza out, and maybe play some Earth, Wind & Fire in the car - you can always get the "Water" pizza at element to quench your thirst for real pizza & an unbelievable dining experience. 10/10

We have known Element Pizza for years and every time we try a different pizza place in the Twin Cities we realize that the others can't keep up with the texture and taste and we come back here. We tried a lot of different kinds and were never disappointed. Insider tip: Mediterranean salad. You will not find the taste of their home made salad sauce anywhere else.

Fairly average wood fired pies and fairly high prices. They were fine but far from the best I have had. Staff were friendly and attentive. Pies are bigger than the plate which sounds like a bonus but its not since the crust is touching the table in spots which is gross. Get some bigger plates!

Husband has been going here for 5 years and introduced me to Element Pizza about 3 years ago now. This place is delicious and we go year round! The new outdoor patio is so beautiful! Their pizza is fresh and always made with local ingredients. It’s a small local pizza shop but packs a big punch! If you’re in town, it’s a must to eat here.

Love! Love!! Love!!! They serve some of the best wood fire pizza in the twin cities! What I really like about this spot is they don’t charge an arm and a leg for a pizza. They use fresh ingredients and delicious dough every time. We never had a bad experience here! The dine in experience is intimate and cozy. The staff are all kind and warm. Small but cozy location. The parking lot is pretty small too so it may be an issue on a Friday or Saturday night. The pizza is pretty good and the staff is friendly. Prices are somewhere in the middle for the quality and portions.

Best pizza in town if you like napolitana. Wood fired and chewy. I usually get their "water" (5 elements, get it?). But last time I ordered their seasonal which featured foraged mushrooms. If I make a request, it's usually less cheese and fresh arugula.

This place is perfect. The inside is bomb and cozy in the winter, the patio is beautiful in the summer. My girlfriend and I ordered a pizza each once and mine took about 5 or 10 minutes longer so they gave me a completed punch card for a free pizza. And besides all I just said, the pizza is the most flavorful pizza I've ever had. It's just such a good place. Never a bad experience, perfect crust, incredible sauce, it's just a place you gotta go.

I can barely tolerate pizza due to my boyfriend always wanting to eat it. This pizza is amazing. We had the buffalo chicken pizza, cheese pizza, cheese bread and an order of spinach artichoke dip. The buffalo chicken pizza was the best either of us have ever had. The pita bread was perfectly toasted and lightly seasoned, even the boyfriend thought it was really good. The spinach artichoke dip was heavenly. The cheese bread was delicious, the dipping sauce was also delicious, normally neither of us will use the dip at restaurants. Best pizza I have had in years. We can't wait to go back. The restaurant was spotless, the employees were very friendly, and the smell was mouth watering.

The pizza here is delicious. They got almost everything you'd want... The air, water, fire, earth... the only downfall is they don't offer a kiss from Bruce Willis, which you really need to complete a proper meal. Hopefully one day they'll offer that, but they are super green with the other 4 elements. I highly recommend the meat popsicle, try it!

Best pizza in NE by far. There are other spots which will not be named that have great pizza of the same style, that have a better atmosphere. There's no competition. I could eat 2 element pizzas with no remorse, and still feel good about my decision to do so. Primo ingredients, stellar staff, and a sick location to boot. This is hands down the best place to get pizza in the entire Twin Cities. We stop in at least twice a week. The space is small and in warmer weather there is a small outdoor patio. Despite the limited space it is very comfortable, warm, and the staff is amazing. We've tried other places, but Element Pizza is where our heart is. I eat a lot of pizza and this is good pizza, plain and simple. Sweet sauce and crust with great texture. Ingredients are high quality. Pick up orders are fulfilled on time and the staff are friendly.

Very good pizza . Can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed the pizza. the ovens were hot, come in and allow yourself the pleasure of the menu , it's even easier to get lost in a 4 meat , sausage, pepperoni cheese etc. A few more dollars per pizza but it's well worth it . Neopitan pizza in Northeast Mpls, 89 Broadway Ave . Parking isn't a problem at time we went . Restaurant is Very clean tables are not long to be cleaned , covid-19 rules are followed mask a must right now , employees wear them liquor is available and pop is served . Besides pizza they have salad, sandwiches I apologize, but I was amazed by the menu but skipped over appetizers.

Cannot go wrong with some element pizza. If you are on the fence about which pizza to get, get them both because they are all delicious. Great value and great pizza. Certainly beats fast food pizza (and doesn’t cost you much more) and I would say it goes toe to toe with some of the fancier pizza in the neighborhood, for half the price.

Awesome Pizza and great prices. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Pizza's are made pretty quick, so you can get in and out fast if just stopping for lunch or on a time schedule. Similar style to Punch Pizza, but I personally prefer Element a bit more. Restaurant is always clean and outdoor seating is nice in the summer.

I live close by here and have drove past a million times! When COVID hit and our regular spot Punch Pizza closed we had to find a new place. Element is absolutely to DIE for and I’m kicking myself for not having tried it sooner. So so so tasty and it has kind of a cool vibe/patio. Super friendly staff, quick and efficient especially if you call ahead to order. Everything we’ve gotten from apps to salads to their pizzas have been great even when they’re clearly busy.

I've typically had a great experience here. However, during my last visit the service was unusually slow. Waited half an hour for two pizzas. When we asked, they said "your pizzas are next" in a way that suggested they'd forgotten us. The real point of concern came when people who ordered after us received their pizzas before us. Perhaps it's not a place to go if you're feeling impatient over lunch, or they were just having an off day. Either way, I am less enthusiastic about this restaurant than I used to be.

Fresh hand made pizzas that are unique and full of flavor. Favorites are the fire, wind, and Earth in that order, and don't forget to order the feta dip! I personally love the Aegean salad, it's a really solid Greek salad that goes well with the pizza. The owners are super friendly, the service is great, and they give great recommendations if you're not sure what to try.

Amazing pizza joint. Every pizza is delicious and always perfectly prepared (yeah, I've had them all 😂). The Aegean salad is particularly great for a side. The staff, especially the owner, is as kind as you will find anywhere and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Only downside for me is the limited beer options, but when the food is this good...whaaaatever.

Pizza was fine. Needed more time in the oven. Dough/crust was chewy and lacked texture. Slices drooped as a result. Caesar was not great. Staff seemed more intent on watching anime than interacting with customers. First time here and probably last for a while.

I used to work at an excellent pizza restaurant and therefore had pizza 4x+ per week for more than two years... that being said, I am picky about where I choose to go now. Element's pizza is awesome and the crust is everything I want - doughy, delicately flavorful, and fresh. Element is the kind of place that could be pretentious, but isn't. This place never disappoints. Pizza is delicious, salads and appetizers are delicious. Restaurant is clean and cozy. Outdoor seating is surprisingly quiet given its location. Staff is some of the most friendly staff I've encountered at any restaurant in the twin cities. Pricing is reasonable and affordable.

If you like Punch pizza you will LOVE Element. Loads of options! Don't forget to check their specials. They recently had a very tasty cheeseburger pizza option that was very enjoyable. The Italian Cheese Bread is basically mandatory. Get both the ranch and marinara dipping sauces. The rosemary flatbread combined with the artichoke dip is also a great option. We enjoyed them for years via Bite Squad but recently moved to Northeast and have enjoyed eating at their restaurant as well! Pleasant staff and cozy space.

My husband and I stumbled upon this fantastic mom and pop restaurant while looking for something unique in the cities. The pizzas come extremely fast and never disappoint. The spicy feta dip is awesome. It became our new favorite restaurant. Pricing is extremely reasonable as well.

Just moved to the neighborhood, and on Sunday evening while working on a bunch of stuff around the place that the landlord should probably be doing instead of me, I decided to stroll two blocks down the street to check out the local pizza place. I walked in on a small (~20 seats) restaurant that seemed more appropriate for Ely, MN than Northeast Minneapolis. Wooden everything, serious cabin vibes, super cozy. The place was probably about half-full. I ordered a pizza with sausage, red peppers, basil, mozzarella and goat cheese to go and had a cheap pint of Summit ($5.50) while I waited. It was then that I got to listen to Bruce Springsteen, Earth Wind & Fire, E.L.O., and something else I can't remember but I'm sure it was sweet. The pizza ended up being amazing. It has more cheese and sauce than any other Neapolitan pizza I've ever had, which is a very good thing in my mind. I'll definitely be back.

We continue to return for our favorite pizza. We all have our own. Mine is the pesto with anything. My sons love the buffalo chicken and wild mushroom pizzas. Don't pass on the salad...kalamata olives, feta cheese, yum. The pizza and bread are great with the olive oil(on the table). The space is small with outdoor seating as well. Very friendly neighborhood cafe with high quality food. We haven't been disappointed yet.

My mom and I have tried just about all the pizza places in the area, and since Element opened, it has been, hands down, our FAVORITE pizza spot. When I was overseas and thought about the food I missed back home, Element pizza was what I thought about. Delectable sauce, tasty pizza dough, yummy cheese, friendly staff, great atmosphere. This little restaurant has become a place of comfort for my mom and I.

Excellent pizza and even better spinach artichoke dip. Beer and wine selection. There is a pretty big difference between their sauces(I preferred the oregano based sauce). Friendly staff. The building is rather small so I could see an issue getting seating during peak weekend hours. Went on a Wednesday at 7pm and they had a few open tables.

AND it is very reasonably priced - you don't break the bank taking the family out for pizza as you might at some of the larger local wood fired pizza places. Crust is consistently delicious. Toppings are generous. Service is speedy and polite. The only downside is that the relatively small dining room makes it hard to linger.

This place is very good indeed. The pizza was fantastic and surprisingly inexpensive. The restaurant has a fairly small, but well kept dining area. What was really surprising, is the speed of service. I was expecting at least a 15 minute wait for the pizza, but it was brought out almost as fast as I got settled at a table. I have had longer waits at fast food places whose food quality doesn't even come close to as good. As others have posted, I too will be frequenting this establishment quite often.

I love Neapolitan pizza and this is the best in MPLS. Punch is fast food this is a real restaurant. Good toppings and good service. Small building but I have never felt claustrophobic. They are right on Broadway and that makes the summer patio less than idyllic. Get the pizza as take out and bring it to a nearby park for a picnic instead.

Element is a great little place for a quick bite for lunch or dinner. The pizza is thin crust and they offer their composed pizza or you can build your own. They serve wine and beer along with soft drinks. There is a small parking lot next to the building and street parking. The pizzas are more on the individual sizing, but are big enough for two if sharing an appetizer or not too hungry.

Tried their pizza twice (both via pick-up) and was disappointed both times. We tried the Fire pizza and were really excited about the toppings (spicy sausage, peppers, goat cheese) but there were barely any toppings on the pizza! The goat cheese was sparse to say the least and the red sauce was very bland. I expected a lot more for my money. Ultimately, the product doesn't live up to the diverse/exciting menu and I don't get a sense they put in much effort in the kitchen.

We stopped here for a late/quick dinner on our way home in stead of going to Punch. The two of us shared a margarita pizza with roasted red papers, sausage, and red onions. The pizza was cooked super fast (as expected in a wood-fire oven) and was very tasty. We sat outside and drank a glass of red wine and watched the Broadway traffic go by. We got there 45 min before closing on a Wed night, so other customers were not too plentiful. The inside is small and cozy, but it was nice to sit outside on the small patio, even though the atmo out there I between to streets isn't super great. Pizza was tasty, wine was good, service was great. We'll keep Elements on our list of pizza joints.

I sit inside because there patio is right on the street but it's covered and quaint. Keep an eye out for deals and lunch specials.

This place is OK, but doesn't quite live up to the hype for me. The two pizzas I tried from them had a very monotone flavor (just tasted like salt and garlic). The best thing I tried from them was their rosemary flatbread with spicy feta dip. However, Pizza Nea offers a similar flatbread with meatballs, so I'd rather go to Pizza Nea because I like their pizza better.

Located down the road from the original Broadway Pizza in North Minneapolis. With the family owned and operated restaurant you will find a wide array of different pizza from the margarita to the "fire pizza" which is spicy sausage, red pep, goat cheese and basil . My favorite is the margarita. I consider the sauce to be tangy, bright and fresh and the crust is something you could eat just by it's self! Plus its less then $7.00 (some of the other pizzas are more) and 1 pizza can easily feed two people. Usually takes 5-10 mins from ordering to eating the first slice. Open M-F 11-10 and Sat/Sun 12-10. If you like the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant go during the week around midday, I like to stop by on early Saturdays when its nice and quiet! I hope they stay around for a long time!
