The staff is knowledgeable and have great energy! It would be nice to see a few Vegan options on the menu; however our server made great suggestions and our salad and pasta dish were both excellent. The drinks are tasty, too. 😍
The patio - and the staff- are dog-friendly. …

First time checking out EaTo, and very well may become a new usual happy hour spot in downtown Minneapolis. EaTo boasts a tasty wine selection, cocktail program, and tap list. Their happy hour menu has a fantastic cheese pizza that works perfect for two. Staff was friendly and helped us find the right wine for us, even a few samples to boot. If you're in the neighborhood, check out this fun restaurant and enjoy their patio. Don't forget to check out their wine shop located in the restaurant as well!

I have to disclose that we live right above this restaurant in downtown Minneapolis! It has changed name and concept after COVID but it is still a nice place for a drink and a bite! Pizzas are actually very good from a hot wood burning oven. The best part is their bottle shop where one can buy a bottle of wine and take it to the restaurant with no corkage fee! The staff is efficient and very friendly. Great place to have in our building. Thumps up! Oh if you are a sweets fan, they have a good selection of gelatos and Italian deserts.

My mom and I had dinner here before a show at the Guthrie Theatre. We shared the salad with chicken on it and the seasonal bruschetta. It was fantastic and our server was absolutely awesome! (Katrina). She was sweet, attentive, knowledgeable around the menu and suggestion. Highly recommend!

BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT I’VE BEEN TO SO FAR! Eat to restaurant is located in Downtown Minneapolis, MN. It is known for serving some great Italian cuisine with a modern Italian interior inside. There are three sections of Eat to’s; the market, the restaurant, and the bottle shop. The market is filled with organic fresh ingredients, sauces, and drinks, the restaurant where people sit down, and the bottle shop where all of the alcohol is. Italian food is one of my favorite cuisines and I was so excited to try this place. I got their Pesto, Beet salad, Taleggio and honey pizza, and Seasonal veggies. I have to say ALL of them were my favorites and ALL of them were super delicious in their own way.
Their pesto with linguine sauce was very garlicky, salty, and nutty. It was bright and earthy and tasted a great amount of cheese flavor as well. I literally couldn’t stop eating their pesto because it was that delicious! I tasted all of the elements in pesto that pesto has and none of the ingredients were hidden. I think all of their dishes' ingredients are very stand out and there is nothing to hide. For example, I got their taleggio (cheese) pizza with honey and rosemary. The pizza was very simple and not complex but I thought the flavor combination was strange at first. Taleggio cheese has a very funky bitter taste and I was amazed to taste it. The honey acts as a counter “attack” to the taleggio because that is their sweetening agent that balances the funky taste of taleggio. The rosemary acts as their earthiness blend to balance the strong bitter cheese with the sweet honey as well. It’s honestly one of the best balanced pizzas I had. Like I said, there was nothing hidden with their dishes and their pizza was the perfect example.
The seasonal veggies also had their moment to shine as well. They were sautéed and cooked perfectly to tender. The seasoning was perfect and the medley of veggies fit right in with the Italian flair. Their Beet salad was another example of ingredients not hiding from the dish. The salad was greatly conceptualized as the salad was light. The cheesecake is from a local bakery in Minneapolis and that cheesecake was the bomb! Very creamy and soft; just like a cheesecake should be.
Like I said, BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT in Minneapolis. I am so happy I found this place and got to enjoy some amazing Italian food. Everything was organic, homemade, authentic, and conceptualized. You can tell how much thought was put into each dish as none of the ingredients were hidden and very much stood out. Thank you Victoria and Brooke for taking care of me and JJ who made stunning mocktails for me.

This restaurant has become one of my favorite places! The best part? Let me start by talking about the service. Our waiter was so nice, we enjoyed chatting with him and getting tips on the best dishes and drinks. We ordered some drinks both with and without alcohol and everyone really liked them. I had an Aranciata Rossa Italian soda and I really enjoyed it. We also ordered olives to share. We then ordered our meals and everyone loved the food! I ordered their taleggio & honey pizza and thought it was so delicious. The pizzas are big enough to share. Don’t even get me started on the desserts! We ordered the gelato, cheesecake and tiramisu. The gelato and tiramisu were my favorites. The worst part? Not much I can add expect that parking can be tricky. We found a spot close by and it wasn’t very expensive. I’m totally coming back tho! The salsa verde chicken pizza is calling me, that’s what I’m trying next. Oh, and did I mention they also have a small shop? So cute!

Came here for the first time. The overall ambiance of the place was amazing. I loved the plants everywhere and the hot pink color incorporated throughout the restaurant. There was also outdoor seating available which was super nice. The waiter Sam was amazing ! He was sooo personal and extremely friendly. He was very attentive and helped us decided what to order. Thanks Sam for being patient with us. The food however was okay. The calamari was probably the only reason I would return. It was very delicious. However, I ordered to cocktails and it seemed to have so much ice and barely any liquor in it which is disappointing considering the cost of everything. I was expecting there to be more liquor and not filled completely with ice. The other drink I ordered came in an extremely large glass and was filled less than half way! I also ordered the Margarita pizza and it tasted very fresh however the dressing placed on top was very sweet and it just tasted very weird. I would’ve definitely preferred the pizza without the Italian dressing on top. I don’t think I would return but the staff was extremely friendly.

Great place to eat downtown. Both times i went, there was no wait to sit down.
Woodfired pizza, pastas, and salads. Good cocktails and wine list. I also was very pleased with one of their nonalcoholic drinks. Definitely will be back!

Just discovered Eato by chance today. Very European feel, delicious food and wonderful staff. The private dining room looked fabulous! There is also a wine shop and other goodies you can take home.
So happy to have found this place!
Andrea Juve
Delicious food and drinks! The pastas looked great but I had the beet salad and seasonal bruschetta, neat atmosphere, cool plates and glassware! Loved all the details.
Katie Morphew
My husband and I came here for the first time last night, celebrating a night out before our baby arrives. Not only was the food amazing (we had the pizza puffs, pickled veggies, shrimp scampi, vodka penne, and tiramisu) but the service was above and beyond. Peter, our server, was personable, always made sure we were well taken care of, and overall just an incredibly nice human being! Once the staff found out why we were dining out they offered to cover a round of drinks for us (old fashion and a non-alcohol option) which was not expected but such a sweet touch! Lastly, I’d like to say what an incredible selection of non-alcohol options there were — as someone who is pregnant this was so nice to be able to have a variety of fun, delicious options to choose from. If you haven’t tried EaTo yet I highly recommend booking a table ASAP!
Asher Miller
Great place. Freshly made pasta is top notch. The retail shop with local products is great too.
Tim Esh
Love the place, good food and excellent service. If the place is busy it will take some time.
Stevi Rose
This place is definitely my new favorite. The service is the best of the best and the food matches. I have only dined at the bar, but have more than enjoyed my experience. The lobster and fries, wedge salad, cauliflower and lemon tart are all delicious and this chef definitely knows what she is doing. I have enjoyed brunch, dinner and happy hour... even on the weekend. My only confusion is why this place isn’t packed every day of the week, because it sure is an underrated hidden gem. I certainly enjoy not having to wait for a seat, but I surely wouldn’t mind it either because the whole experience would be worth it. I highly recommend.
minnesotabuddy
Late lunch here on a Tuesday and staff was nowhere to be found to seat our party of 3. Food was adequate. Nothing memorable. Would be willing to go again but will not be a place we frequent.
Chase Nelson
Eastside did nothing but impress me. Great service, good food and an awesome dining area. We visited for brunch and had most of the menu. The Dutch Baby was hands down my favorite. The carbonara, short rib and biscuits & gravy were also a table favorite. I'd recommend stopping in and trying it for yourself.
Amanda Rheineck
Prosciutto pizza = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Vodka Penne = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
EaTo Old Fashion = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Atmosphere = ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spicy Lobster Spaghetti = ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (we were not really impressed with the red pepper taste of this)

Temporary Vincent A was a good burger. Was first in line for this.

We are so grateful for a restaurant like EaTo - from the wonderful owners, to the incredible lighting, decor, setting, menu, and location! The food is delicious. The staff is kind, personable, and fun! We recommend EaTo to everyone - from family to friends, clients, and more! We look forward to dining at EaTo!
Zarine McDaniel
Underrated. Get the Taleggio and honey pizza. Never had a bad service night but parking is a nightmare. I would go there more and actually buy things from their wine shop and market if the parking situation wasn’t horrendous.
David Wiczer
It's a really big, spacious restaurant with excellent service and above average food. The bread and butter itself is a bit of a highlight, and same with the smoked cabbage salad. The lobster and fries is also great, and perfect to share. It's crowded on a Saturday night, but one can definitely get a table.
Price-wise, there's a nice range and 2 of us are really well for ~70.
Del O'Loughlin
Took my wife here for a surprise dinner. Had planned it that we would make it for Happy Hour, but found out it was only in the bar area when we got there, feel like this should be noted on the website but it currently is not that I could see. We decided to just stay at the table they say us at and ordered a couple cocktails. I had the Bufflehead, which was basically a fancy old fashioned, but was really great. My wife had a drink with Thai tea and gin (don't remember name), and she really liked it. We then ordered the caramelized cauliflower and burrata. Both were great, but we really loved the cauliflower! Next we order the beef tartare and the small portion of the lobster spaghetti. Both needed a little bit of salt added to them which is not something we normally do as we are very salt-conscious. Also the beef tartare was served with grilled flatbread but we found it to be better on the crackers that were served with a burrata; they added a nice crunchy texture. We did tell our server about these things so she could pass our feedback along. Overall, the service was pretty good. We will probably go back, but will make sure to go to the bar area for Happy hour.
jessica hartkopf
I had a margherita pizza delivered through an app. Really enjoyed this pizza. Good portion size and nice taste.
Valerie
Delicious food, unique atmosphere, great service.
Kale Langley
Great happy hour til 7, unique menu options (had never heard of mangalitsa ham), everything met our expectations and more with family sized portion options, sides and good cocktails. We’ll be back
not only for the food but it was easy to have a conversation, good acoustics. Disclaimer: we love Grand Cafe, so I was coming in biased, wanting to love it here. And we did.
Kayla Hambek
This place has delicious drinks, great food, and the staff is kind and a ton of fun. I wish their food was a bit cheaper (but, downtown) and that they were open later, but I would absolutely come back.
Erin Newkirk
Total gem of downtown! Delicious food, incredible ambiance. Loved the handmade Italian sodas, the adorable market and bottle shop. We’ll be back!
Olivia Richard
What a wonderful spot! Extremely cute decor, good service and the focaccia bread was outstanding.
Sean
Big respect to the vibe. Can't say anything beyond the cocktails, as that's all I tried. Dubious about the olive oil washed (also included) cocktail. Very cool idea, questionable execution. Feel similarly about the Mandarin negroni and "old fashioned". There's something to be said about riffing on a classic, but these renditions were so outside the norm I'd lean towards a new name.
The proprietor of the liquor store was a well knowledged delight.
Alan Nedved
Great service. Great Italian sodas. Fun atmosphere. Meatball appetizer was small for the price.
Stacey Carpenter
Great ambiance! Great food! Great staff! Great drinks!
ONLY DOWNSIDE:: I know it's downtown, but parking is either an outside block away (small outdoor paid lot around the corner), or in the skyway (not even sure how to easily get there from the restaurant). And they don't have any valet service, so no luck there. Oh and their front door is SUPER heavy and seemingly sucked by some windtunnel. So weird.
Melissa Warner
Really lovely Italian place. We are outside which was lovely and enjoyed Italian soda. I would recommend the vodka penne dish.
Alyssa Joye
We had a great time during our visit for dinner today. Delicious food and we had a great server. Thank you, Peter!
Mic Thomas
This place is great for dinner and the Oysters are delicious. This looks like a hotel restaurant with its proximity to L45, but that's definitely not the case.
Katie Pintar
EaTo is one of my favorite new restaurants! They have amazing service, beautiful and tasty cocktails, and the food is excellent (the Chicken Parmesan is amazing!). The atmosphere is so unique and fun with a cozy yet modern vibe. Great for date night, and I can't wait to try lunch and brunch!
Bill Frauly
The food, service, and atmosphere were great for lunch. Can't wait to try in the evening, after work.
Lauren Summers
Limited menu, but my pizza was pretty good. A little heavy on the cheese without many options for toppings. The wine was good, but limited selection. Nice wait staff. You have to order online through the app at your table.
James
The husband and I had a great time tonight at EaTo! Great food. Great service! Can eat that focaccia all day long. Of course we had to pick up a few bottles of wine to take home on our way out. Looking forward to hanging out on the patio in the Spring and Summer too.
Kye Anderson
Atmosphere is very cool. Great menu and even a beautiful wine shop and marketplace to take home some fun treats. Highly recommend it. We are already booking for Mother’s Day weekend.
Roland Taracks
I ordered the Nduja (sausage) pizza and it was fantastic! Very flavorful! To top it off the entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Brett Albert
Excellent atmosphere/vibe with fantastic outdoor space. We enjoyed their cocktails and great wine selection, and the pizza was outstanding. Great servers too. We will be back!
Stephanie Miljkovic
Delicious pizza and pasta!! Drinks are so well crafted and fresh. super cool environment and excellent service all around even when they’re extremely busy they’ll take care of you. We will be back!
Kendall Lyons
Wonderful food and atmosphere! Love the honey talegio pizza! Great service as well! Can't wait to go back!
Dan White
Dinner for 6. Extraordinary fine food and wines. Beautiful elegant service and dining room. We had a feast! Lobster fries, octopus, muscles, oysters, anchovies, prawns, pasta, ribeye....😋 …
Brian Adkins
One of our favorite neighborhood places. Excellent food and wonderful and creative craft cocktails.
Justin Garabedian
EaTo was outstanding - from the service, food, and unique wine picks. Highly recommend this foodie stop to anyone. The wine store has some smart picks. The entire staff was welcoming.
Nick Klebs
Great dining experience. Mobile order and pay, but staff cubes around to welcome you and help discuss food and drink. Pizza, Salad, and Steak Sandwich were phenomenal. Cocktails and Italian Sodas complimented the food and atmosphere.
Shashidhar Bollepally
Excellent Italian restaurant. Lots of choices. Service was excellent. Love to visit again.
Gia Gia
Really nice place but didn't feel super welcomed at the bar… maybe it’s just not my kind of place!
Torrey Vegter
The meatballs were a little dry but ok. The pizzas were a bit salty but good overall. We really liked the doughy, chewy crusts!
Negail
The food was excellent and so was the service. Great coffee and cocktails.
Dylan Anderson
Drink menu very limited. Upscale, true...but there was nothing on it I wanted to drink. Great beer selections. Not so crazy about the food. the food was great!
Cheryl Heitkamp
Dry attentive service, good drinks and really good food. Nice menu
Lorna Schad
Our family(group of8) had a wonderful brunch today! We sat outside on the patio & loved everything. Service was great, food was all delicious&'well priced. We thought the swan(shared drink for 4-6 people)was really fun. The location is great, close to the Stone Arch Bridge& The Guthrie. We'll definitely be back!!
Angela Ritchie
I never write reviews, but I had the BEST time at Eastside with my partner and another couple. We’re all queer, and truly appreciated the service and were never “ladies”-ed once! Food was delicious, generous portions. We really made a night of it, but if you wanted to stick to a budget, you absolutely could have. It felt like we were in a swanky restaurant in Chicago or NYC without the stuffiness. Dinner wasn’t rushed, seating was comfortable for a plus sized gal, drinks were perfect, I just loved it. Will be going back again soon.
Jonathan Nelson
We have not been here since they redid the menu but I'm glad we did. The initial service was really great and friendly. The food was amazing. The cauliflower small plate was a treat. The short rib melted in your mouth and the pappardelle was memorable. The cocktails were perfect accompaniments (recommended trying the bottled ones they make). The only small issue was it took 20 minutes to get the check and we were trying to rush to a play at the Guthrie.
Sarah Crowley
Came in to take advantage of the happy hour menu. Service was good. Spent more than we had expected (2 people, 2 drinks each, 3 items total from the food menu = $100) Not impressed with the food. The fried chicken was too sweet and messy. Served bone in and in a bowl. To messy to eat with hands, nearly impossible with a fork and knife. Our shared spinach salad was under seasoned and over dressed. We poured off much of the super oily dressing and requested salt to make it more palatable. His double burger was apparently "fine" but not anything we couldn't do better at home.
Giovanni Cruz
The atmosphere is great and the food is top notch. Got the primerib burger and wow! The grilled prawns are great too.
Jeff Sorensen
Excellent Dining Experience! We had theater tickets in downtown, so we arrived for an earlier dinner. The family style suited our party of 6 very well, and each course was exceptional. We were enjoying the dining experience so much that we lost track of time! Our server was on top of things and reminded us of our engagement. Highly, highly recommend.
Tammy Bunes
Cacio e pepe was delicious, as was the chicken parm and the tiramasu
Gaby Schwob (Foodie Delish MN)
The fried chicken was superb!!! Tossed in honey :)
Jeffrey Wright
Perfectly average food in a lovely space.
Table staff were pretty off their game and inattentive. Sitting at a table of 9 people, no plate I saw or tasted was particularly memorable.
I had a decent steak tartare and a slightly different twist on an altogether average wedge salad.
All the dishes were prepared well, just that nothing was all that inspired.
Diana Senyana
Had brunch here with some friends... The bottomless drinks flowed slowly but I had a great time and the food was great!
Heather Lidholm
Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Great recommendations from Chef Ryan and Chef Matt. Schnitzel and smoked ribs were amazing. Attendant serving staff and bussing staff. 12/10 would go again. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it. Cherry chocolate cake was delicious, from someone who has cherries.
Chris Jasniewski
The atmosphere is very nice, but the price tag of $16.00 for a turkey burger with fries was a bit high in my eyes. It only goes up from there. Drink menu very limited. Upscale, true...but there was nothing on it I wanted to drink. You have to like gin and whiskey, which I don't. The service was good.
Ryan Tinklenberg
Decent drinks, but you are limited to the drink menu. Most of the staff are nice, but some act like they don't want you there.
ana nord
Modern, upscale establishment with both traditional and contemporary food and drink options. Unfortunately, the cocktails are very inconsistent; quality ranges greatly, depending on staff behind the bar, which makes it difficult to justify their very high prices. The food is delicious and both small and large plates are offered. Great place for a quick drink or a dinner with a large group of of friends! Be prepared to spend a lot of money for a night here!
Dan Hedin
Cheese bread is fantastic. Slightly sweet and full of flavor on warm focaccia. It can double as dessert.
Laura Graves
Scrumptious food, attentive staff, beautiful atmosphere!
Kristine Ryan
Amazing food, service, and atmosphere! You must try!!
Lyndsey Arnold
This is a review based on eating as an individual sitting at the bar alone on a Friday night (I'm a loser and was stuck in town after a business trip!). The bartender was a real gem. Made great suggestions, mixed delicious cocktails, poured me a taste of wine when my whiskey didn't "pair" with the carrot appetizer (his suggestion). The carrot dish was delicious as was the veal cheek. Friendly and attentive staff. All around lovely place.
Polly Throntveit
Food is much better after Jamie Malone took over. We had the rib eye and lobster family plate and other dishes to share and they were all great. It was a little quiet considering it was a Sat night. I hope as more people know about the change of ownership, they will come and give this place a try again if they had a bad experience before.
Jean Nitchals
Energizing atmosphere, talented staff, food that will tantalize your tastebuds! We have been here several times for dinner and now brunch! The shrimp and grits is amazing on the brunch menu. The roasted chicken and salmon are two favorites for dinner. Add in a side of melt in your mouth mushrooms and hold on! The cocktail menu is delightful, Eastside 75 being my favorite.
Erin Cichanski
Absolutely delicious drinks, entrees and dessert. Wonderful esthetic and environment. Kind employees. Highly recommend!
Ranal A
Good food with friendly staff! Their chicken verde pizza was tremendous (and even better cold the next day). I look forward to coming back here religiously.
Rebecca Mazza
Service is good and friendly. They realized we were waiting longer than normal for our food so they sent out some complimentary wine while we waited. The cocktails are good too. The cauliflower is a must!
eric sonterre
Went for brunch before a Vikings game and was a great spot. I had the biscuits and gravy and cant stop thinking about them. It was very filling and hit the spot. Great athstetic to the place and strong service. Prices were reasonable.
Evan MacGibbon
We were in town for a wedding and the concierge at the Renissance Depot Hotel recommended Eastside Eats - a 1/2 block up the street. A very eclectic menu with small plates - oysters, mussels, clams, prawns and great entrees. We went light with two delicious wedge salads, the prawns and mussels. Delicious deserts - the beignets were out of this world, as was the chocolate hazelnut cake. Nice selections of wines. Wines by the glass $10 - $14. The staff was fun and energized. Prices were what you would expect from a nice restaurant, but not outrageous. $14 for small plates and mid $20's for entrees. Enjoy!
Gary Morgan
It was a nice dinner last night (NYE) at Eastside. My wife and I had eaten at Eastside when it was under the previous ownership. The earlier dining experience was fine, but I found it a bit boring. We were interested to see what the team from the Grand Café did with the place.
We didn’t take advantage of the tasting menu but rather ordered from their current, regular offerings. Our appetizer was the Deviled Norwegian Crab on Grilled Sourdough; a good place to start. The variety of breads we tried were all top notch. My wife enjoyed Diver Caught Scallop and I had the Beef Short Rib with Potato and Caramelized Leek Pithivier and Pot Roast Carrots. The short rib was the highlight – the pithivier didn’t really do much for me.
I tried their Oaxacan Old Fashioned but felt the smokiness of the tequila was a bit too much for my tastes. Next time I would probably go with a more traditional rye or bourbon.
It wasn’t very packed for New Year’s Eve although we were there a bit early – dined at 7:00. It will be interesting to see if this version of the restaurant succeeds.
Stacie Vos
Ordered the weekender package. So incredibly happy and impressed. The Beef Wellington was incredible, the packaging is adorable and the directions clear! Take advantage of the opportunity to enjoy this incredible food in the comfort of your home!
Stephen Lucas
Great Chicago chic decor. Very knowledgeable staff and prisoners service. Drink menu designed by tattersall, always a bonus! And of course the food, very very well done. I got the pork shoulder, my fiance got the salmon. Both prefect, with great sauces and accents. Def will be going back.
Taylor Bauer
Their hot & cold shellfish as well as the Duck are my absolute favorites. I think about their roasted duck probably once a week. Staff is knowledgeable and kind & their Chef is talented. Ambiance, theme, cleanliness, and hospitality are all excellent.
Brandyn Negri
Here is my two cents:
Bartenders are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Food/Beverage: Bison Burger is incredible (and I'm not an avid Bison Burger fan). Mash potatoes with cheese curds - creamy and delicious. Cocktails are crafted perfectly. Hazelnut/Chocolate Tart- heavenly!
Portion sizes- desert, salad and sides are big. Share with others.
Cauliflower on menu has an Indian spice flare - and there has nuts in it. Not what I expected and didn't love it.
Christopher Brockhaus
Given the location and amenities, this place is very reasonably priced, at least during happy hour. I think they just opened, but their patio will be amazing during the warmer months. Cool motif inside and the barstaff were top notch.
Wajeeh Ahmed
Tater pizza was delicious and their drinks woow
Matthew Kuzma
Good food and solid upscale service. I had their burger which was delicious (though a tad salty and so big I needed to use a knife and fork). I also tried their tuna tartare, roasted cauliflower, and a beet salad that were all fantastic.
Kevin Patton
Hear me out.
Beautiful layout with mosaic tile throughout the open dining room, with a well-maintained open kitchen visible to all guests.
Excellent service. Patient and aware, attentive without hovering. Knowledgeable, friendly, and genuine.
Dry-aged beef tartare was crowned with a mild aioli and crisp radishes, but the star was the whole wheat sourdough, grilled to perfection. Quietly, perhaps the best bread in Minneapolis, made daily in traditional fashioned dutch ovens. Simply delightful.
The lobster spaghetti with cognac cream and butternut squash was as decadent as you might expect, but was executed to perfection. Highly recommended.
The short rib with potato and leek pithivier and pot roasted carrots was drizzled tableside with a divine sauce bordelaise, and served with the best horseradish sauce I've ever had. The shortrib was beautifully seasoned and had a sweet caramelization to the outside that enveloped the generously sized, melt-in-your mouth morsel of beef. The pithivier was flaky and buttery, albeit just dry enough to savor the last drop of bordelaise.
Do not pass on Eastside. It's the real deal, representative of the upper eschelon of exquisite dining that has graced the city of Minneapolis.
Caitlin
The vibe is clean, old, comfortable & modern all at once. The turkey burger was ok - the garlic fries were amazing! The sunchoke soup was a delight and the chocolate cake was a little too sweet and a little too dry.
Dan Blomberg
After several happy hours and a few fantastic dinners I couldn't recommend this place more! Every single cocktail, appetizer, and entree is beautifully thought out as well as perfectly prepared!
Tom Cooke
Very trendy spot in downtown Minneapolis. Very cool interior, nice ambiance.
I was surprised at how limited the menu was, only six or eight entrees. I ordered the pork porterhouse, which was served with spatzel. We also ordered the garlic fries which were served with 2 sauces and were absolutely addictive. The pork was a huge cut, nicely presented. The server had asked for doneness, I’d ask for medium rare to medium. I suppose that was my mistake, as it came out about medium rare, which I realized was a little rare for me. The server, who was excellent, was nearby and immediately followed my ask for “a couple of more minutes on the grill”. She was apologetic, and I assured her that it was my mistake.
Other entrees included the skirt steak au pouvre, and roasted chicken. Both were evidently most tasty, although the skirt steak seemed a small portion, especially compared to the pork.
My pork porterhouse was returned (by I assume the manager) in a couple of moments and was super hot and now cooked just how I wanted it. Again, apologies were proffered, I assured her that it was my mistake.
So, a mixed review from me. The food was excellent, the service great, the ambience nice—but I really felt the menu was way too limited, and the wine list overpriced. Worth a stop if you’ve seen the menu and know what you’re interested in.
Alex Widdel
Staff is totally wonderful, food is sublime, and they are doing a lot of things right when it comes to their Covid safety practices and fighting the cold with heaters for outdoor seating while the indoors are unavailable. Get the lobster fries 😋 …
Roshan Rajkumar
Great stop for post-work drinks. Decent HH menu and drinks specials. Wide open space and friendly staff makes it a good gathering spot. Free Wi-Fi is a bonus. And easy ramp parking next door. Try the Manahattan and house fries with fancy sauce. Makes for a good visit.

Treat yourself, GO HERE! Creativity is mind blowing! Covid-19, this AHmazing group, provides excellent services, and above all else, you will be safe, the creativity, how they adapt to Covid-19 is nothing short of miraculous. AHmazing! Incredibly over the top, but not surprised, not by this crew!!
This is my new favorite! Everything is fabulous! The food is perfectly prepared, the staff, over the top, beautiful decor.
I cannot wait to go back.
Celebrations of life, are best celebrated here! I didn't take photos, no need, as this is a brain print, never to be forgotten.
"Style" abounds in every aspect.
Cheers, until we meet again, and we will meet again!
I wasn't aware that this fine dining restuarant is owned by the same Lady, Jamie Malone, NO WONDER I love this place so much. Everyday should be a celebration of life! I can't go out often, but when I do, it's a BIG CELEBRATION of life. The servers here were as excited as I was to be here! What a wonderful feeling, to have "strangers" share in a celebration of life. I litterally cannot decide which is the best option of the two! I'll just have to keep going back as often as possible! See you there! I'm the Lady who always talks to "strangers", and making strangers friends comes from a shared joy of lifes luxuries in fine dining, delicious cocktails, and over the top service!
A bevy of smart, classy, creative beauties!

This place could easily have just mailed it in. It’s on the street level of a busy intersection and connected to a large apartment building - it’s bound to get enough traffic. They didn’t - they are delivering a very high quality of food and accompanying it with a really cool drink menu. I was very surprised at how good this place was and will be back for sure!
Vanessa Robinson
Pizza delivery was phenomenal! Their salads and desserts were also delicious. Can’t wait to try more off the menu.

It's what you've come to expect from a Burnet restaurant. The food is great, the place is impressive and the service is professional. It's more on line with Burch than BLG to me, just because of the price. Plus, it doesn't seem like anything can recreate the BLG vibe.
My aunt was in town, so my wife and I met her there for dinner. We all had a different entree with different salads and sampled different drinks, then finished with a desert. We were all very pleased with our food and drink. Just expect to spend a few bucks, we hit $200 between the three of us. I would definitely go back and recommend it.
Adam Blom
Drinks are good but it took a long time to get them. Prices are pretty high as well.
Thomas Kent
Great spot meh pizza and drinks
Sean Pierce
Pro's: the vibe and the service are great! It's pretty cozy and hip feeling.
Con's: shocking small menu. Over priced (of course) and the food which actually is delivered consists of miniscule proportions which aren't very flavorful
TL;dr. Visually a great date place, just eat before you come.
Aimee Stolt
The N’Duja pizza was a little too salty for us, the potato pie pizza was so delicious and we’ll definitely be going back for that!

It was delicious!!! The rack of lamb was beautifully complemented by the sauce and the service was great. Deffenitely reccomend if you want to go to a more upscale place.
Summer Phillips
The menu was a bit bland seeming and the plates were kinda small, but the staff was great and had answers for our questions right away and let us substitute things with no problem. Great atmosphere, casual but still downtown feel.
Alex Rose
Very solid food, though expensive. I would have preferred a better cocktail as well for the price. If you're staying at one of the hotels, I'd recommend it. Otherwise, it's a bit overdone.
Meg Smith
Terrific local beer selection. Food options are varied but average; all fall short on execution. Service is friendly and accommodating. Space is big, airy, and attractive.
Max Greene
Welcome to flavor town! Top notch. Quality service. Quality food. 10/10
Dan Pekearo
Minneapolis has some really great pizza, but this one is the best. Had the Cheese w Garlic and La Pistola both excellent.
Captain Dave Spoor
The scallops with mushrooms was excellent, the mushroom stroganoff was mostly noodles and lacked any distinct flavors. Vegetable sides were ok, with the charred broccoli the best.
Emily H
I went in very excited to try Eastside. But for the price, something is missing. Some of the food is excellent, but most were just ok. Would much rather spend money on other restaurants in the area (Spoon & Stable, Bachelor Farmer, Etc.
Paul Streit

Ryan Larson
Really liked this restaurant. Kind of off the beaten path as far as downtown Minneapolis goes. But great small plates and fantastic service.

We split the 32oz steak and it was wonderful. Cocktails were great too, will return!

Upscale atmosphere and excellent staff. Desserts were delicious, but there is a lack of vegetarian options.
Jens Knutson
The food, service, and ambience were fine, but nothing remarkable. I'm not price averse for genuinely great food, but nothing here justified what they were charging.
