Love the pasta. It was the right about for one serving and the burger is really good also. Love the crunch on the fries. Good proportion and for such a good price. Have to try their desserts next time. 😊 I highly would recommend it. The place was very nice too. It looks small on the outside but when you get inside it’s pretty big and I love the Pink Panther !

Very friendly staff, delicious food options. I got the hot dago. We finished off with one scoop of ice cream. I was super happy. Lighting and atmosphere was nice, music not too loud. Easy to park.

Good place for a good meal! Chicken parmegiana with the "supreme sauce" and stuffed tortellini were good. Bread was awesome. I also liked the bent paddle "black" on tap. Nice stout with some chocolate & coffee flavors to it. Service was good. I have zero complaints, other than prices are a little higher, but nothing outrageous. $20 a meal. $7 a beer. Would go back!

Great small Ma and Pa ran Italian restaurant. Food was outstanding and filling. Reservation's are recommend due to the popularity of the restaurant. You won't be disappointed in anything you order off of the menu.

The place was very different esthetic wise loved it. I had added the antipasti salad for $5 more it was good, typical balsamic dressing which I love and the potion was basically a meal on its own. Came with soft bread which tasted and felt like pizza dough. Which is also,, different salad in general taste was great. Have I had better 100% would I come for it again ehhh prob not 8/10 Garlic Bread- 10/10 brought me back to my middle school days. It’s good, and have had the taste at places that charged over 40 for a dish so definitely 10/10 Baked Rigatoni- it’s okay, the cheeses threw me off and the sauce kind of tasted like Ragú or high sugar canned sauce would compare to Boca di Peppo pasta vs Olive Garden in taste. It’s good, just expected wow factor with the hype Black Forest 5.5/10: when I see Black Forest on a menu my expectation is German chocolate with cherries. This was 2 slices of DRYYYYYY CHOCOLATE BREAD (saying bread vs cake bc it gave me bread esthetic not even brownie esthetic) when I mean Dry… even the ice cram didn’t help… which brings me to the dysentery topping…. Really wish it was cherry if you market it as black Forrest. REALLY DISAPPOINTED ON IT. Is it good? I mean sure if you’re wanting dry cake Tiramisu: BETTER THAN BLACK FORREST, not by much bc it was also dry but the taste is accurate.

Donatelli’s catered for my company holiday party today! Amazing service from Time of inquiry to the minute they delivered. Food came on time piping hot. The delivery driver left there Kanga boxes for us to keep our food hot. Those things are incredible! Donatelli’s your food is amazing, everybody at my company is always blown away by how delicious and flavorful everything is! The roasted vegetables are by far the favorite, which is funny because people at my company tends to not enjoy vegetables very much. Anyways, thank you for catering our work holiday party, we will be using you again!

Wonderfully friendly staff, unmatched quality and amazing food! Will be a regular from now on!! Very impressive, in a league of their own that I’ve been missing since the Venetian Inn closed! Ordered Baked Rigatoni (which is not available anywhere else) comes with meatball and garlic toast and French silk ice cream….Absolute heaven

Excellent menu of high quality options. Ordered a build-your-own calzone (they call it a turnover) and chicken fettucine alfredo. Both excellent. Service was phenomenal, large menu and cherry on top, they have an massive ice cream flavor list. Only downside to this visit was my calzone (turnover) was completely flat. The server acknowledged this and apologized, but this definitely made the experience and overall flavor less than stellar. Hopefully I can try this again where it comes up as a calzone should. Great hidden gem, though, in White Bear Lake. I highly recommend!

I needed lunch for a big group at work on a Wednesday, I spoke to Hannah on the phone the day before. She was professional, kind and knowledgeable. I gave her our info and preferences and she had great suggestions for everything. The next day, the order was correct and complete, it was ready on time, the food was DELICIOUS (as always!) and it was the perfect quantity for our group. Everyone at the restaurant was really friendly; Hannah especially made this whole project easy for me. THANK YOU Donatelli's!

Excellent Italian food and service is always great and it's like your treated as family. I have many favorites but I had the spaghetti with a meat ball and their bread just filled me up so nicely. This is the type of place I can drive out of my way to go here. Yummy!

The food is adequate tasting, large portions. I never find the place to be good enough to get me to choose to eat there. Tonight was a friend's birthday, so I happily went and while the appetizers were out in ten minutes, the entrees took an hour and a half. My guess is the server forgot to put the order in because it was still twenty minutes after we asked where our food was. We were made right by management in the end, but I probably still won't go back.

Donatelli’s was absolutely amazing! We can’t accurately describe how good the food was for our wedding. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it! Trish was the best, most knowledgeable, organized and friendly vendor we worked with. 10/10 would recommend!!

Saw this place on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives and had to try it out. The food was amazing as well as the service! They have such a wide variety of food available. Definitely will be going back soon to try some more pasta dishes and their pizza!

Donatelli's catered our wedding and the food was a hit! We asked for a change in protein for one of the dishes and they were very accommodating. The staff on the day of at the venue were fantastic and were there all evening making sure the dessert donuts were restocked until the night ended and then perfectly boxed up any left to take home. Thank you for making the food part of our day effortless!

We went to Donatellis for my husband's birthday. We made a reservation but If you don't make a reservation a couple of days beforehand you'll end up waiting anywhere from twenty minutes to an hour however the food is worth the wait! I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and my husband ordered lasagna. I'm picky about my pasta but they had to be in my top 3 restaurants to eat at they were so good. They even gave us a birthday dessert for free and the staff was very nice. Lots of families there so it was a bit noisy but food and service was spot on.

Donatelli's catered our wedding last month and was arguably the star of the show. So many of our guests commented on the food being the best they'd ever experienced at a wedding, and having that level of service for a large event was amazing. We just had Donatelli’s cater my daughters wedding and we were extremely pleased. Soooo many people raved about the food. All served family style with HUGE portions. No one will be hungry with them catering your event. The mostacholi was AMAZING. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Awesome food. Portions are quite large and affordably priced. The pasta is delicious, especially the mac and cheese with andouie. It's more of a kielbasa type sausage, but so good. My side salad was the size of a regular and I really enjoyed the vinegarette. Looking forward to my leftovers tomorrow!

If for nothing else, I'd go back for the gluten free rolls. If you are GF, you know how rare it is to find good, fresh bread at a restaurant. The place is quirky in an strangely endearing way. The menu is impressive! I got the baked rigatoni. The pasta was typical of GF pasta and fell apart, but the sauce was so good! I'm definitely going back to try the other types of GF pasta!

Best of luck to new owners. The challenges in the industry are impacting all restaurants. Portions are getting smaller. Change from coke to Pepsi. Prices continue to rise, which is what to expect for many more years. Staff is always amazing.

First visit. Wanted to see what all the fuss was about. We ordered their hay fries. And my kid had a plain cheese pizza from the kids meal w apple juice. I'm super picky with my fountain soda pop. Theirs was perfect. So when we got our plates we saw a loaded delicious pile of goop. Big bowl of fries loaded with tons of melted gooey cheese and a ton of bacon crumbled up and thrown on top too. They where delicious. LOVED the ranch. Almost couldn't finish them. Only problem was that the bottom of the bowl had a bit of sitting grease but that's normal if you think about it due to all the cheese and bacon..so really didn't care. Kid loved his pizza. Very cheesy..he loved how he would bite it and cheese would stretch along w his bite. So food is amazing. Can't wait to try their pasta dishes. The place is kinda jammed and dark. Looked kinda like most diners look. Not the cleanest but not filthy. Very crowded and busy. But once you sat down in your booth or table you where good. One thing I noticed and loved was the smell of bleach. Not overpowering but enough to let you know they where using it to wipe tables and stuff up. On our way out we got a pint of gelato. Tried the red velvet one..delicious. Can't get enough once you try it. Will be back!

Soooooo goooood! Try the heart stopper you will not be disappointed! Beat pizza we have ever had! The chicken BLT wrap was one of the best wraps I have ever tasted hands down! Dont forget your gelato on your way out!

If you're reading this, you obviously have some inkling to visit this place. In case you're ravenously hungry, the TL;DR: stop reading and just go. You will not be disappointed! On to the review: First, the menu is incredible. There are a ton of options, from pizza to pasta, to burgers. They have a great gluten free menu and plenty of vegetarian options. There's also Gelato and ice cream, as if you'd have any room left. Maybe start with that and take your meal home... Second, the waitstaff is attentive but not annoying. They are happy to answer questions and go out of their way to make your meal pleasant. Ours saw that several us were wearing light tops and when we started to tuck napkins into our collars asked if we wanted bibs, half joking, however she brought them by when we were stoked to have been asked. (For the record, they are children's bibs but none of use left with a stained shirt, so we were happy about that!) Third, did I mention the menu? When they say the spaghetti pie serves 2, what they really mean is it serves a small family (see image, sadly forgot to get a pic before we dug in). Everyone's entrees were well portioned, hot, and delicious. Fourth, the food is GOOD. A lot of places suck at making marinara sauce, it lacks flavor and texture. Not here. This is sauce like your grandma would've made. Properly seasoned, the right thickness, tons of flavor. Finally, our waitress packed up my leftovers (did you see the size of that dish?! I shared and it wasn't happening) wonderfully, see image #2. Perfect to toss the dish in the oven and reheat. And let me tell you, I think the leftovers are almost better than the original meal. It's a good thing I live in Rochester, because if I was within 30 minutes of this place on a regular basis, I'd be prone to gain some weight.

Been a favorite for years and the baked lasagna is to die for!! We drive almost an hour to eat here; food, service, & atmosphere is second to none and lunch deals are an added bonus!!

I had the fettuccini broccoli alfredo. The sauce was good, the broccoli was plentiful and cooked perfectly. The pasta, however, was more like pappardelle than fettuccini. In fact, it was about two times the width of my friends’ pasta who both had the Cajun fettuccini alfredo. Hmmm. When I order fettuccini, I’m not expecting 3/4 inch wide pasta, which is what I got. I was also assured the pasta was house-made…I don’t think so. For dessert, my friends had cannoli (delicious, they said). I had the flourless chocolate torte. Although it was good, I found it was better after it had come to room temperature at home. Went from fudge (cold) to dense cake (room temp). On the whole, we were pleased. We’ll be back!

We drove 45 minutes to give this triple DDD spot a try. The service was very good and the food was also good. It was a fun time but I feel I can get the same type of food on the west side. However I would highly recommend you go and give it a shot!

I had the pleasure of using Donatellis as the catering for my wedding. When we contacted them, Trish invited us to a free tasting of their meal options: a very pleasant experience that convinced us of their trustworthiness and experience. We weren't disappointed on our wedding day: Donatellis provided a tasty meal with plenty of food for everyone (our freezer is filled with leftovers too!), a very professional and friendly service and a really affordable and reasonable price. They even included free pizzas for the after party and delivered them at a different location than the venue we picked. When the usual unexpected issue arised (we were a table short), they helped us figure it out by stepping in and letting us use one of their serving tables to seat the extra guests. Donatellis went the extra mile to ensure a smooth celebration and for this I must recommend them to any and everyone who is looking for a great, tasty catering for their event!

The food and service was top notch! My eyes were bigger than my stomach so I ordered too much food but the plus side to that was having leftovers at home. We ordered the pizza, Italian dunkers, rigatoni, and fettuccine and enjoyed it all. My only issue is with how they make their garlic bread - it’s literally just bread. There’s no garlic flavor at all and the waitress said it’s how they always make it, so don’t waste your time or money ordering that, unless you like plain bread.

My kids love this place. It has a good balance of ambience, food quality, price, and ice cream selection that makes it a nice family destination. They have a good beer selection and adult menu items too, so it's good for everyone (even without kids).

We stopped at Donatelli's last week. I was very pleasantly surprised. We were there at lunch. I had the lunch special of Spaghetti with meat sauce which was $9.00 and added Italian sausage for $1.00. It was well worth the time and money. Very nice portions and fantastic flavor. My brother in law had the lunch meatball sandwich and my sister had chicken fettuccine alfredo and each dish was very good and good portions. I will absolutely go back and I would / will recommend to to everyone. The service was very good to. Great experience.

Food was great! Fair prices, relaxed decor. Server was fantastic. Notice after eating, they had a large assortment of take and bake items...and many other choices as well, if you just wanted to pick up food to eat at home.

What an amazing place! We came here as a group of seven to celebrate my son's college graduation. The food was amazeballs! Huge portions and very fresh. The owner came out and chatted with us, telling us the story of the restaurant, and making lots of jokes. Honestly this is a true gem. Highly recommend!

The service was 3 stars. Forgot our salad, never came to ask how food was or if we needed additional beverage. Another server took our dirty plates and brought us to-go containers. Food was excellent but not attentive on service. Server was friendly "when we saw her" and gave great recommendations on entrées.

When you want Italian you gotta go to Donnatelli's. They have SO many food options and they are ALL good. Their pasta is always good. They do have burgers, and sandwiches too. My older son had the baked stuffed shells. My youngest son had Spaghetti and meatballs. I had a "small" Antipasta Light salad that had chicken and a yummy homemade Italian dressing. The "small" salad filled a 12"x12" square plate!!! The portions are amazing. My mom had a ginormous wrap that she could only eat 1/2 of. I had leftovers & so did she! Price wise they are higher at like $$$, but you won't be disappointed. They also have signature items on the menu that were featured on Diners, Drive-In's & Dives with Guy Fieri so you know this place is GOOD!!! They always have homemade soups. They have amazing ice cream, Gelato & sorbettos. Their Tarimisu is amazing and their Death By Chocolate dessert is out of this world!!! I highly recommend the Rum Cherry ice cream too , it is phenomenal!!!

Chris and Trish were so easy to work with leading up to the day of our wedding. They were very accommodating to our needs and requests. The wait staff and the food made our wedding incredible. We had so many guests come up to us afterwards and compliment us on our choice of caterer. The staff moved quickly and efficiently to set and clear plates and dishes. We had absolutely no issues serving buffet food while trying to keep everyone safe. We were able to pick up the leftovers the next day as well, so we got to enjoy the amazing food the week following our wedding. I can’t say enough good things about the bruschetta, sous vide chicken, the roasted vegetables, and the tortelloni. All items were wonderful choices. Trish and her catering staff at Donatelli's were wonderful to work with for our wedding dinner and dessert. We worked with them for two years, through a pandemic postponed wedding and they were so accomodating as we had to make changes along the way. The wedding day staff were great! Guests were served quickly and staff checked in with us multiple times to make sure everything was what we wanted. They provided both our buffet pasta dinner and gelato dessert and I wouldn't change a thing!

This hidden whole in the wall the food is amazing I love their raviolis and pasta and pizza and garlic bread! The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual. Super family friendly and the service is usually pretty good.

Great variety Italian food. Staff is great. Even when they are jam packed the wait staff doesn't abandon you. I love their red sauce. Pasta made onsite. Pizzas awesome quality. Their lunch menu is a win-win. Good portions under 9 dollars. They have a gelato-ice cream shop inside and ready to take home items in freezers by the entry. Closed on Mondays. Been coming here for years and always leave satisfied and container of food.

Excellent options, flavors, staff, knowledge, and environment. If you like the Pink Panther, this is a must just to see. The Italian menu items are widely varied and very delicious. From apps to salads to heavy meals they are phenomenal! Flavors are robust and sauces are savory.

It's even more difficult to put on a high end event such as this one. If you're reading this then you already know that Donatelli's food is off the charts good! Normally when you do a tasting and you compare that to the food you actually get at the wedding the quality is garbage because they have to make it in bulk. Not with Donatelli's; the food is exactly what you taste in the restaurant or what they present to you at the tasting. They actually take pride in what they're serving. The other, and most impressive thing, was that they bring enough staff to actually get the job done well and efficiently; unlike some other events where the head table gets their food and you get yours an hour later. You really don't notice the staff, which is exactly what it should be, unless you interact with them directly and every time I did they were extremely kind and accommodating. If you're thinking about using them to cater a small wedding or a very high end event like this was just pull the trigger because they knocked it out of the park!

We've dine at Donatelli's a lot. Besides the great food, we enjoy the great service. Whether ordering a salad or an Italian favorite, it's always good. I can only think of one occasion where something was off. They went above and beyond to make it right. We've used the takeout options too. Place order on line or call in and they'll take the order. Very easy to pick up or they'll bring it out to your car. The ice cream/gelato is available for dine in & take home and it takes a lot of strength to walk away without taking some home. The french silk ice cream is AMAZING! It's the most consistent restaurant I've been to in years & I appreciate it.

I haven't been here in over 5 years and I have to admit, I missed it more than I remember. We had the anti pasta, the baked carbonara and the cheese tortellini with mushrooms & peas. The servings are enough for 2-4 people or at least a few meals with a take home box. Service is still top notch and of course the cooks in the kitchen rock! They also often kindly bring out some snacks for the crowd if you're waiting for a table, which is also nice. Staff very nice. Would recommend (not all the time, given the prices/cramped seating, but as the occasional place, or if you're just craving carbs and not just anything will do, this is your place.)

Five stars always for this place! Whether you have their pizza or their pasta dishes they are all very well done. Keep in mind they make some of their own pasta and they were on Diners Drive-Ins and Dives and there are a couple of dishes you have to try as far as the pasta goes. Fiirst off try the seafood cannelloni It's the best I've ever had, even at some of the most expensive Italian restaurants. The pizza is outstanding, as is the gnocchi. On your way out you can grab some spumoni ice cream!

We hired Donatelli's to cater our wedding and couldn't be happier with our decision. Trish, the owner, invited us and our parents in for a tasting, and we were blown away by it. She served generous samples of just about everything they offer, and even sent us some home with leftovers. She sat with us during the tasting to run through everything and answer any questions. On our wedding day, everything was perfect. The staff from Donatelli's did a marvelous job working with the venue staff throughout the day. My wife and I appreciated this, as we were able to focus on our big day without any concern about the catering. The dinner was delicious, as were the late night pizzas! The staff were very professional and made sure everyone left satisfied. I would definitely recommend Donatelli's to anyone looking for a caterer, and anyone looking for a dinner at great Italian restaurant. P.S. - Get some Spumoni ice cream while you're there!

We hired Donatelli's for catering for our wedding in December 2020. We did our tasting January 2020 and it was the best experience. Trish talked to me numerous times regarding the changes with COVID. When we had to cancel our reception due to the peak of COVID cases and government restrictions, we did have a deposit with them- so instead of that being a total loss, Trish put together food for our rehearsal dinner. It was the same food we were going to have for our rehearsal dinner. It was great food and such AMAZING service during a difficult time! We enjoyed an on-tap beverage during our short wait for a table. It isn't the lowest price place for pizza, but with pretty good food and service, and with all the money staying local the value is OK. The great pasta dishes are probably a better value.

Donatelli's has been our favorite Italian food for a long time. Even though it is all the way across the metro from us, we will still make the drive once in awhile to eat there. Since they do catering, it was a no-brainer to have them cater our rehearsal dinner. I placed my order over the phone a couple weeks in advance. The staff was very helpful, guiding me on how much I would need to order for a complete meal. I made my payment on the day of and then they delivered everything on time. We set up the spread in the church's basement and ate buffet style. There was more than enough for the number of people I had expected. The food was tasty (but of course it is always better fresh in the restaurant). I was very pleased with the order out/delivery of Donatelli's.

My realtor introduced me to this restaurant and we've been back numerous times. It's a great little restaurant that is supposedly family owned. Most importantly, the food has been fantastic when we go here. The location is in a strip mall so there's not much parking during normal lunch/dinner hours. Although we've never done it, you can order takeout and they have a beer bar area we've not tried. It has a family friendly atmosphere. The decoration is nice and lighting is sufficient be it on the darker side. There is ample seating for the size of the restaurant. The booths, however, are on the small side. Four adults could be seated at a booth but it would be uncomfortable unless you're into being close with elbows touching. I suggest getting a table unless you it's just two adults max. Top notch service. I don't have any complaints any time I've dined here so far. Pricing is good for the quality of food. Dessert is tasty. We ordered some kind of fudge cake dessert once. Be careful if only ordering for two because it came out and looked like it could feed four adults. Half size would be great. This is a place I highly recommend.

Great local family run Italian restaurant. We've eaten there many times. Unfortunately, Donatellis does not take reservations for groups of fewer than 10 people. Friday and Saturday evenings can be very busy, and if you have group of six for example on a Friday or Saturday, you could have a long wait, depending on how many other large groups are ahead of you. The restaurant does serve pizza samples to people who are waiting to be seated if there is a long wait time. They always treat customers well here.

They are well worth the recognition with excellent quality, a friendly staff and good prices. They not only offer pizza, pasta and burgers, but they have GLUTEN FREE pasta and pizza options as well. If you're looking for something extremely tasty and very bad for you to share with some friends, I highly recommend the 'Haystack Fries' for an appetizer. If you're looking for something a little healthier, the chicken BLT salad is always excellent. They do get busy and you may have to wait for a table so plan accordingly. If you get caught up in a busy time, be patient. In my opinion, it's worth the wait

Great food and service. Had them for my wedding and no complaints. They had the wrong napkin colors the day of setup, but by the wedding they swapped them out. So many compliments from guests on them. You can keep the leftovers too, which many vendors do not allow. The only complaint would be that my fiancé wanted a late night pizza to himself, but after dancing they were gone. I bought him a pizza the next day to make up for it.

Great service and unbelievable food. I called to pick up my food 3 hours early and all but one of my 5 items was ready the instant I walked in the door. I had to wait about 10 minutes for them to freshly prepare the last item and send me on my way. The price of the food was on par with most of the other places we checked. What a fantastic experience we had! Donatelli's just catered our son's wedding reception. Trish and Mark were exceptional through the entire process. Trish was able to tailor the menu to fit into our budget and still provided magnificent food and great service. I didn't hear a single negative comment from any of our guests (almost 300). What I did hear was people raving about the selections and how delicious everything was. From the start, Trish made many suggestions and was very patient with our endless questions and changes. She has the experience to know what works and the insight to eliminate surprises that can ruin an event. She was always polite, helpful, flexible and never made me feel like an idiot (even when I asked really stupid questions). At the event, the servers were very polite, professional and accommodating. Mark was such a pleasure to have on site, directing his people, while staying very cheerful and welcoming to our guests. We did a "strolling buffet" with several themed stations. They kept the offerings hot, full and beautifully presented. Everyone had plenty to eat, and the food was amazing! I would highly recommend this team of experts for any event you may be planning.

I've done it all in terms of Donatelli's. Several times I have dined at, booked the party room, gotten take-out or had catering from Donatelli's, and the food has never disappointed. Over the past decade living nearby, I can tell you that the food is consistently great. From the pizza and pasta to the burgers, soups and salads, I've never had a bad meal. The only reason they did not receive 5 stars is that the service for dine-in can be slow and in the past we have had wait staff who seemed to be annoyed that we were there. We stopped dining-in, but we'll never stop loving the food.

Donatelli's catered our wedding, and it could not have been better! The team was professional, the food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable, especially considering it was full service catering. We were doing our wedding on a tight budget. The hall we rented had to be set up by us the morning of. The catering team arrived at the hall as early as they could be let in. Trish, the head of catering, gave us very helpful tips with room set up, and the team assisted us with moving tables. The linen table cloths and napkins and the real silverware made the no frills hall shine. At the reception we had many of the guests complementing us on our wonderful choice of food. The buffet was enough food for everyone, and whoever wanted seconds got seconds. The leftovers were packaged up and sent home with us at the end of the night.

It's a great local joint with lots of character. Most nights the owner is there and cheerfully greeting the guests. They hire plenty of local teens who already know, or are taught excellent customer service skills. There's also Supply and demand. Demand goes up, so do the prices. Prices have jumped fairly significantly the last several years, and our family of 6 will easily spend$80-$100.

Amazing food!!! The dunkers are to die for. That's their italian bread with garlic butter and loads of melted mozzarella that you dunk in their wonderful red sauce. I also had the stuffed manicotti which was also amazing! There was so much that I ate a lot while there, took the rest home and had two more meals out of it! Booths are all separated so distancing was easy and I felt very comfortable going there 💜

Good size menu with pleanty of options to choose from. This place has been on Food Network Dinner's Drive Inn and Dives so you do have to wait normally for a spot. Staff is friendly and attentive. They also do to go orders and have an ice cream treat station. You will see a pink panther theme in the dining room. Prices are moderately higher than average. Don't waste your time and money ordering a salad they make them ahead of time and part of my lettuce was frozen and wilted I would not recommend that. For homemade blue cheese dressing was nothing to write home about.

I had the Seafood Cannelloni. It was very creamy and cheesey. Almost too cheesey and creamy. It said there was lobster, scallops and shrimp but I guess the lobster and scallops where minced all together because the only seafood I could tell was the shrimp which wasn't minced at all. But overall, very good if you absolutely love seafood. Need to be in the mood to order this again. But I loved the service and the people. They were full of energy and happy.

Good Italian food. I would say it is definitely heavy on the sauce which can be good and bad. I think if you are looking for "smart" (Calorie counting friendly) this is not the place for you as many of their options are very heavy Italian. The prices are okay, I have seen cheaper, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Great Italian comfort food. I had the Monday all-you-can-eat spaghetti special. Great sauce, nice and thick (you can sub meatsauce for the meatballs). I've had the pizza, spaghetti pie, and a few otjer things. All are great. The place is not fancy, but comfortable. Some noise, but not bad. I think the proces are good. You can get out of there for $8 - $15 for an entree.

3 words: Big. Delicious. Italian. This little strip mall joint knocks it out of the park every single time. Lasagna is AMAZING, and I'm not a pasta lover. If you come around lunch from Monday-Saturday, you can get pasta and sandwiches for much cheaper prices at around 3/4 the size, so an amazing value. It can get crowded around dinner, so lunch is the best time to go. Also, it's kind of funny that they have Pink Panther decorations in the booth area, so it is unique. If you are in the area and want some good comfort food, just stop on in.

More of 4.5 star restaurant, but don't let that dissuade you from going here. I could sum up Donatelli's simply as good yummy, heavy Italian food. They don't do anything fancy or original, but are so consistently good (entrees to deserts) that I found it too hard to resist sliding the star rating to 5 stars. The restaurant it closest resembles is Bocca Di Beppo's in St. Paul, but slightly better. I think given, there is only one Donatelli's they can concentrate on making the same hearty tasty food, time after time. I don't stray too far off cheese items, however when I do, I have the fried chicken strips (dinner, not kids). Not sure where/what they do to these, but the taste is fresh and delicious. I will say they are the best chicken strips in the East Metro. Otherwise, tortellini alfredo and (yum, yum) the haystack fries are a must heart stopper. They also have a good selection of desert ice cream (yummy black cherry, pistachio) and spumoni. I found the tiramisu good, not great. There is a reason why we go back and why it's crowded early on weekends.

After seeing Donatelli's on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, I had to check it out. Me and a friend went there on a Friday afternoon and the place was half full of diners. After a half hour the place was packed. We got seated right away and the server took our drink order right away. We then ordered the Haystack Fries with French Fries, Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon. That was so good. Then I ordered the Baked Linguini Carbonara, my friend ordered the Antipasta Salad. They were both excellent. The owner asked if everything was good as he walked around the dining room chatting with guests and making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. We saw a bunch of pizzas going out to the dining room that looked great. Next time we will try the pizza that looked so good.

Last week we used Donatelli’s to cater a corporate event for 70 people at 7 Vines Vineyard in Dellwood. They served lunch, afternoon light snacks and an evening heavy appetizer and dessert spread that was out of this world! For lunch we had wraps, soup, chili and salad. The chili rivalled my homemade family recipe and the salads were both delicious! The heavy appetizer stations were a great set-up to encourage socializing and wine tasting. We enjoyed smoked salmon, shrimp cocktail, sausage & meatballs, bruschetta, teriyaki chicken, roasted veggies and a gourmet dessert table. Our server for the day, Mark, was extremely attentive and made everything run smoothly. Thanks for a great event Donatelli’s!

After talking with them about the food and catering we decided to book them. My son did not know anyone who had eaten there so we were hoping that the food was good. Donatelli's did not disappoint. The food was delicious! We were very happy with the food and their service. We highly recommend them. We are a little disappointed that they are not located in Delaware, OH because they would definitely be our favorite restaurant.
