From time to time you come across a place that just blows you away, and the taste stays. This place is one of those restaurants. I had the #11 (Persian beef, feta, tomato, and harissa) which was by far one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted in my entire life. Came out amazingly quick, fresh, and beyond flavorful. Getting a bite with everything really shows the talent within this coal fired pizza restaurant. I would go back here for food again and again.

Stopped in try the pizza and it did not disappoint! Very fresh, great flavor, and a solid amount of toppings. All the employees were nice and friendly, Mitchell was my server and he did a great job and was patient and answered any questions I had. Would highly recommend trying this spot if you're in the area!

AMAZING pizza!! You can get half and half pizzas in both the 12 and 16 inch pies. We got 2 pizzas and some drinks and couldn't be happier with our selections. We HIGHLY recommend! You cannot beat this pizza.

Amazing. Perhaps the best pizza in Minnesota. The oyster mushrooms were superb, and the crust was baked to perfection, striking the balance between soft and doughy to crunchy and firm. Absolutely lovely. Black Sheep has a fully stocked bar with a cool skeleton spirit waiting to be poured, and a great looking beer list. Michelle provided excellent service and is a fantastic server. If I lived within walking distance, I would come at least once a week. This is one of the few pizza restaurants deserving of a five star rating. Follow-up: The skeleton spirit was worth the 17$.

Very good pizza! One of the best in Minnesota! Nothing commercial here! Ordered online pizza was ready on-time! No issues whatsoever. Excellent crust and toppings.

If you looking for tasty pizza and nice place to eat, you should definitely check this place. Hand made with build your own pizza. But don't stop only with pizza, they use their special cole oven to make other delicious food items, try them you will love it. Facing the main Washington ave, downtown, nice place to walk around as well.

Black Sheep is amazing - always have a good time. This was my first time to the North Loop location. We sat in a cozy booth right at the front. We were feeling indecisive on what beers to order (they seem to have a partnership with SmokeKing, whose beers I've never had), so our waiter brought us a few samples without even being asked. Great start! Black Sheep makes a specialty pie, their Sicilian - they make it early in the morning before the coal ovens are too hot, and once it sells out it's out. Highly recommend, it's unique and tasty! We also ordered a pineapple/bacon pizza, and I was astounded to see that they sliced whole, thin rounds of pineapple to cover the entire pizza rather than chunks that most folks are used to.

Friendly, clean pizza joint with coal-fired baking. Pizza crust is delicious as is the fennel sausage. Pizza not as warm/hot as I would have expected but was delicious.

Black sheep pizza is my favorite pizza I have tried in Minnesota so far. This last time we went, we tried a chicken and goat cheese pizza. The pizza was fresh, full of toppings, and nice and crispy on the bottom. The flavors were all good, as were the textures. Pictured is also the Sicilian pizza, where the sauce is on top. These are made fresh every morning, are different, and delicious. If you have not tried the Sicilian, I highly recommend it. The service was okay but the food makes up for it by far.

It was AMAZING. I was so hungry and it was so good. Their black olives were a type I had never tried before and I absolutely loved them. My hubby who is more of a picky person got the pepperoni and sausage and said it was good.
