Reviews of Big River Pizza

Yummy Wood fired New York style slices! You can order slices or full pizzas. The pizza comes out hot & fresh & is made with quality ingredients that taste AMAZING! The crust is thin but not too thin & has great consistency & flavor.
They are wheelchair accessible & have a gender neutral restroom. I love the inclusiveness.
There is a lot of space to sit with tables & chairs spread out decently. There are no booths. Lots of natural light.
There are also standing tables out front & on the side walk if you want to eat outside.
There is street parking as well as lots of parking ramps nearby.
We love this place & will be back.

I love my sota style za. But if I swing for the thin pie cut, this is where I'm going. Good stuff. 4 out of 5 because I haven't had every pizza to compare. As long as the farmers market isn't open, you can park for free right across the street. Get some chili oil too! Friendly staff and cool atmosphere. Pic of whole pie and my reheated slice in the air fryer for 3 minutes.

Pizza was cool…nothing special imo and a little over done at least on the crust for me. But still good decent pizza and the prices are reasonable as well. You can also build your own but that can get a little pricey…

Really tasty wood fired pizza. Great service. Good beer selection. You can even get pizza by the slice! Pictured is the house special and the spinich artichoke dip.

Absolutely to die for pizza... one of my employees mentioned it and ended up ordering a cheese pizza for me to try it. Well.... I took a bite and instantly told him, "I hate you... lol" The crushed tomato sauce was fantastic and the pie had just the right amount of cheese. The crust was thin and had those burnt edges that come from being baked in the brick oven... reminders of a NY style slice.. can NOT go wrong with this place..
A few days later.. ordered one myself with pepperoni and sausage and found a new favorite to add to my list..
Great service from the workers and they are quick as well...
Reasonably priced.. $20 for a 12" 2 topping pizza... they sell single slices too if you need a quick lunch...
Definitely try this place out.. you won't regret it...

I had this pizza for the first time it is all about the sauce and the fresh dough. So if you are debating if this is good pizza it is fabulous. The vegetarian version is really good. I would put this up to any pizza in the Twin Cities. Incredibly awesome pizza my new favorite go to pizza.

After living in Chicago for nearly 30 years with super pizza places, and being in the cities for almost 5 years, it’s nice to finally locate a good pizza place! Great pizza. Friendly staff! Eat in or take out and enjoy the downtown! We’ll be back regularly!

Definitely a place I will order from again. Build your own with traditional sauce for my first experience. The variety of sauce choices deserves a few more pizzas, at least. Pepperoni with herbs, black pepper, basil and red onion. Magnificent, and will have to dine in next time. Seems expensive at just shy of $30 for a pizza, but after the first bite the cost no longer seemed important. Enjoy, if you happen to try their pizza!

The pizzas are very good. Great classic pizzas as well as some unique types. My wife had one with a bacon jam that was great. Really unique atmosphere in there. Truly a unique independent business.
