Honestly I went to this place only by the higher number of ratings when I looked for Vietnamese restaurants to try out a Pho. The restaurant is placed in the middle of a busy downtown building that the size of the place isn't too generous.
Luckily the restaurant wasn't too busy on a Friday noon and I got served for lunch within two minutes. This is a quick eat like a Chipotle and I informed the first waitress on the line that I was there for the first time. She got excited and walked me through all the available options in the menu. Since the broth has chicken in it, I decided to pass on the Pho and instead went for a Vermicelli rice salad with veggies.
One by one the waitresses in the line kept stacking different proteins and veggies to the vermicelli and made it look like an art work. The checkout was pretty fast and I got extra soy sauce, crushed peanuts and peanut sauce.
The food was extraordinary without a second doubt. This place is quite small and you will need to be mindful of finishing your meal fast so that others don't have to wait on you.
*Be mindful of what you put on your plate. Don't waste your food!*

It’s a little pricey but it was great food and yummy.
Matt Jobe
Great food with fresh ingredients. Please bring back the banh mi!
Sandeep Pinjerla
Loved the food here. Bowl tasted perfect but my favorite pho. Taste so good. Cheap quality Eat 👍 …
Paul Nordvik
Amazing! I had the Pho, and it was just as good as a Vietnamese restaurant. Great service too (very friendly).
Richard Dongses
Not many options downtown for pho, but this is decent. Relatively tasty food. Bright and hip ambiance. Small location so hard to find a spot during busy hours, and there’s ALWAYS a line. But I guess that’s like any decently tasty places downtown. Definitely worth checking out if you have a craving for Vietnamese food.

Fast casual Vietnamese food with a make your own noodle bowl, fresh roll and sandwich concept. The food was good for a quick bite. You can also get $2 fresh rolls after 1pm. Being located inside an office building made it a little harder to find. However, I would not recommend the pork. It was dry and flavorless. The tofu was more edible. The sauces were all tasty. My only other complaint is that the fresh rolls were so loosely rolled that they fell apart after the first bite.

Great spot for Vietnamese in the downtown area. Not quite authentic, but still fresh flavors. The guys behind the counter are super nice. I would definitely try them again. I had a vermicelli bowl and it was delicious, but didn't quite hit the spot.

I adore the pho here. I have never had any other of their food, except the Vietnamese coffee, because the pho is so darn good. I could drink the broth every day, as the sriracha and star anise lightly burn my lips and warm my body. I feel like it's clean, efficient and delicious. I don't know how authentic it is, but I crave it every time I do downtown. And I always take away some leftovers which make a great late night snack.

Their fast casual vermicelli salad is a brilliant idea

Perhaps the best pho in town! It's simple and tasty. Maybe not the mostl authentic but I could have it any day.
Their spring rolls are really really good. They are made to order.
Bep us trying to be the Vietnamese Chipotle. You choose the ingredients and everything is freshly made in front of you.

Sponsor me, I'll eat here everyday. Spring Rolls or Pho are the way to go on this one ( I typically go spring rolls). Everything is made fresh. Line is very quick similar to a QDoba or subway style. I recommend the Peanut Chili Sauce. I'd come back just for the sauce. Staff is extremely friendly.

Literally went here multiple times a week! Love love love the happy hour spring rolls and the build it yourself style dishes really puts you in control of flavors you enjoy! Everything and I mean everything is super tasty and hands down the best staff you can find!
Laichee Yang
Trudged through the pouring rain with my colleagues to get here (despite it mostly navigable through skyway) and enjoyed every bit of it. A fast casual dining experience with super friendly staff but most importantly, the food was delicious, high quality, and quite authentic. Every Vietnamese cuisine fan should definitely give this place a try.

I've only been working downtown for a little over a month, but have had the opportunity to try a handful of restaurants in the skyway. Bep is definitely one that I'll return to.
If you go, get the vermicelli noodle salad with the works. It'll give you enough food to last at least two meals, and hit all the flavor profiles on your tongue. The marinated tofu is addictive! I can't speak on the spring rolls, but I've heard that they are the best spring rolls you'll find in the skyway (not sure how long list is of places in the skyway with spring rolls on their menu?).
My only recommendation is that it would be super cool if they offered a vegan broth. I would have loved to order soup, but they only have an animal-based broth.
Kayla Johnson
I hesitantly choose this place today because I had never been there but I wasn't feeling well and needed some broth. If I could kick myself I would for not trying this place sooner. Not only was the atmosphere upbeat but you can't buy customer service like that. The staff is so AMAZING and friendly that all my doubts accept the taste were gone. I got the pho and they literally told me I can have what I want the way I want. I left out still feeling under the weather but at that moment it didn't matter. Is recommend this place to everyone. Oh and my food, PERFECTO! I'LL BE BACK!

I went to BEP twice in 2 days and the food was absolutely fantastic!! As a person who grew up in Thailand and traveled to Vietnam, I had high expectations for the pho as well as the banh mi and BEP was absolutely killing it! My friends and I ordered the pho (rare steak), vermicelli bowl (half tofu + half chicken), spring rolls (shrimp) AND the banh mi (steak) and spent 10 minutes just rejoicing at how good the food was as we chomped on the fresh goodness! The owners (Mark & Thanh) are so down-to-earth and awesome people, not to mention the energetic and kind staff! 11/10 would recommend :-)
Michael Galdenzi
This place is tricky to find but well worth the hunt. I walked about a mile to get here because I was craving a good vermicelli bowl and wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is tiny and there aren't ever enough seats but if you exit into the hallway there are tables (in front of Starbucks). The food makes up for the awkward seating, I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.
Maia McBurney
Delicious and filling! One thing to note if you are vegetarian/vegan - they don't have a veggie broth for the Pho. But they do have tofu for your protein in a noodle salad and/or sandwich!
Steve Arndt
This is an inexpensive step up from your traditional sandwich or salad at lunch. The vermicelli bowl is my favorite. While I will occasionally get the steak pho, but have had better at more traditional Vietnamese establishments.
Kevin Sevlie
My life was in shambles before I found this place. I go here almost 3-4x per week, as it has replaced my former Chipotle addiction. I get the Vermicelli Bowl with Tofu (a great vegan choice). It comes loaded with rice noodles, yummy flavored tofu, and then I get all the fixin's and they all work together somehow--jalapenos, pineapple, lettuce, cilantro, bean sprouts, carrots, cucumbers and all topped off with an incredible peanut chili sauce. For under $9 this is a flavor explosion that is 100% vegetables. You HAVE to check this place out!

Probably my favorite place for lunch in downtown Minneapolis. The environment is good and so much better than other dinners in downtown. I love the giant windows where you can embrace the sunshine (which you don’t get much at work). The broth is not like other place’s-salty and dosed with msg. It’s mild yet tasty. The price is fair and the ingredients are fresh.
Duyen Dao
One of my favorite lunch spots in DT! Best place to get a fresh, healthy and affordable lunch in the skyway. Their beef pho is a must try. The broth is full of flavor and they do not skip on the meat like other places. If you're looking to try something new for lunch, I would highly recommend Bep!
Jackie LaVaque
Nice to have a quick Vietnamese eatery in downtown! Fresh ingredients you can choose to build your own pho, bun bo salads, bahn mi and spring rolls. Very cheap and delicious and fast. Get there early (11:00 - 11:30) for shorter lines.
Ben W
Great fresh flavors in both the pho and vermicelli bowl. Definitely recommend. There can be a long line at lunch time, but the line moves at a decent pace.
Mark Vancleave
Generous portions of fresh, clean Vietnamese food. The ordering process is like Chipotle (pick your base spring rolls, banh mi, rice noodle bowl, select your protein, add condiments, etc.) and the staff are on point.
Best of all is the Vietnamese ice coffee which is made to order.
Definitely worth a skyway detour.
Bri Vigliotti
Bep is a gem in the heart of downtown MPLS! I was skeptical at first about the "Chipotle" style restaurant setup, but don't let that fool you. Their Pho is DELICIOUS! Particularly the Beef pho. Not to mention, it's fast and CHEAP. You really can't get much better than that. I also love their Thai Iced Coffee. My only issue is that it is very hard to find a place to sit if you're dining in. I wish that they would add more tables and chairs directly outside of the restaurant/along the sides. But other than that, the quality of their food and friendly, speedy service definitely gets 5 stars!
Joe Huber
Bep is one of my favorite lunch spots in the skyway. Their spring rolls are delicious - I typically get the shrimp spring rolls with everything inside but the pineapple. The portion size is on the larger end for skyway eateries and I always end up having a little more than I want to eat - and spring rolls don't exactly keep that well over night.
Nevertheless, Bep does a phenomenal job at providing fast and delicious Vietnamese food. It is refreshing to have a restaurants that doesn't abide by the sandwich/soup/salad skyway culture. Bep is a place I love to frequent and also take friends to when they meet up with me for lunch, especially since they don't have any locations outside of the skyway.
Sarah Carsello
Lines are super long and slow during prime weekday lunch rush. Head there outside of lunch hours to get in and out fast. Walk through and pick items as you order (similar to Subway/Chipotle). Service is friendly and helpful.
Charlene Clifford
This place is simply great. The long line is worth waiting in and it's there for a reason - because this food is wonderful. Not to mention the customer service is great, direct eye contact - a genuine thank you and acknowledgment from each employee. I try to always bring lunch from home, but treat myself to Bep occasionally and it's always great.
Mandy Johnson
I'd like to coin a phrase for the Bep skyway team: chill-ficient. They're so laid-back and really seem to enjoy what they do, but that does not come at the expense of the quality of service! Food is made quickly and well and with a smile. Love these people.
Plus, the food is great! Don't sleep on the $2 spring rolls after 1:00!
Jason
This is one of my favorite lunch spots. I grew up eating this style of cuisine and BEP eatery does a great job providing me with food nostalgia! BUT, they really need to add more meat into the pho.
Ken Seaton
Fast, reasonable Vietnamese food. The sandwich was just OK, the Pho is really good. Nice broth, fresh tasting and easy.
Lindsay Reiske
Bep eatery is an awesome addition to the skyways for a lunch option. I love the flexibility with the "build your own" options with the spring rolls, pho, and banh mi sandwiches. The ingredients are high quality and fresh. I highly recommend!!
Bunny Lee
The broth could definitely be a lot hotter (temperature). The sliced beef barely cooked at all in the broth. Spring rolls are tasty. I like that I can customize them to my preference.
Cody Oss
One of my favorite restaurants in the skyway. Their spring rolls are bomb. If you are looking for a cool atmosphere, unique foods, and great prices check this place out!
Paul Jahn
Tasty, healthy, modern, convenient, doesn't matter. Enjoying everything while writing this. Pro tip, rare steak in pho cooks up great in bowl after serving.
Spencer Grimes
It's a Chipotle of Vietnamese food. Great pho and spring rolls. Didn't have a veggie option for broth, but tofu was good.
Erik Maier
Good Skyway Pho that's pretty well priced. Sometimes a line, but it moves pretty quickly. A few selections you can make, but really it's Pho, what more do you want?
Brittany Brama
Never had a bad experience here. Everything is fresh made to your specifications. Great ingredients, lots of flavor. I always bring colleagues to this (and the other location) and it never fails to impress.
B T
Busy spot for the downtown crowd. I enjoyed my vermicelli bowl. Not as good as West Coast Vietnamese but it sure hit the spot after days of burgers and Wisconsin cheeses!
Richelle Dodds
Amazing food! Get the beef pho! The staff is incredibly friendly and nice too. Excellent experience. Wish they had Bep in DC!
Brad Asbury
Cold vietnamese chipotle is pretty much what this place is... 12 dollars for a 8 inch sandwich and a bottle of water is way too expensive as well. Better cheaper alternatives out there.
Matt Conway
I was sick, squeezed in here for some Pho, and the warmth of their delicious soup-thing made me feel like I was wrapped in my mother's comforting embrace. Good food.
Jenna Kurzeka
This is by far my favorite place in the skyway thus far, what a cool concept!! I could eat the pho everyday! You can't go wrong with the spring rolls either.
Lark Meikle
Omg..... their food (pho & spring rolls) are so good and they're fast and friendly. If you can avoid 11:40-12:30, theres a lot of customers here and their line is out the door.
Stewart M
Good Vietnamese food for a skyway restaurant. Fresh veggies, good menu selection and fast service. Pho is delicious.
Grant Simons
I really wish this was on the street level, that would push me up to 5 stars. The owner, employees and food are all above average. Seriously one of the best places to go for fast casual downtown. Could see this turning into a small chain someday.
Cristy Siede
The freshest ingredients with the nicest staff in all of downtown. Delicious - my go to meal. Don't pass this up, you'll be glad you stopped.
Bill Frauly
Over lunch it was very busy, but only a 5-10 minute wait. Food is always good, and on a cold winter day they spiced it up perfectly! Sinuses were opened!
Pete Stein
One of my favorite skyway meals. Great food, friendly staff, line moves quickly. Try the pho!
Desralynn Cole

Corey Benson
One of my favorite eateries in the downtown skyway. Delicious, fresh, fast, reasonably priced. HIGHLY recommended.
Christopher Band
They got my order wrong, but the food was good although a little too sweet. There was a line but the service was efficient. Price isn't bad either.
V M Sulc
Had the chicken pho. Broth was excellent. Lacking some basic pho accompaniments.
