Moved into the neighborhood recently and a friend and I were craving diner food. A family member reccomended Ted’s. I was not disappointed one bit!!!!!! Had the eggs Benedict with browns & it was delicious!!! Definitely a hidden gem, as it is a traditional diner inside with good food to match! 🤗 highly recommend!

My compartiot and I arrived early for breakfast. She had coffee, eggs, toast and hashbrowns. I had steak, eggs, hashbrowns, toast and tea. My steak was excellent and the hashbrowns were pleasantly crispy. Service was good and we got our food quickly because we arrived before the morning rush. Prices are decent and the only negative is the limited hours. This place has been a neighborhhod staple for nearly a century! The Friday fish fry and ice cream are also worth trying.

I took my granddaughter to Ted's for breakfast and we had a great time. Everyone is warm and welcoming. We enjoyed sitting at the counter and interacting with the other ppl who were having their breakfast too.

Great breakfast joint. $5.75 for special breakfast includes eggs, meat, hash brown, toast. $1.89 for a cup of orange juice. Fast and good!! Def. Recommend if ur in Milwaukee. Times are limited tho. Check the website 4 hours. Pics added.

Food: Good, but not great. I've had better pancakes, eggs benedict, etc. but by no means was anything we ordered bad. The hash browns were particularly tasty and well-cooked. Service: Friendly, homey service that seemed genuine. The employees made us feel like it was the neighborhood hangout. Atmosphere: Old-school feel to the place that I liked. Pretty simple besides that, but definitely feels out of place in a good way. Value: In this price range you won't find much to eat, let alone food of this quality. Ted's delivers a value proposition that is definitely worth it, warranting a return visit.

This is my first time ordering from Ted's and, won't be my last. Went thru Door dash. My omelette was amazing. They didn't skimp on the filling at all. The hash browns and toast was hot and perfect. The strawberry and banana sundae was the ultimate treat, the amount was more than enough. This restaurant for the prices, gives the consumer generously more than what they charge which, nowadays is hard to find, along with the polite people.Thank you much for making my day.

Ted's is awesome!! The food is always good on top of being extremely adorable. The service is spectacular!! They greet yu coming in an leaving. They smile an very fast. Ted's gives you the home feeling with the layout the dishes the service an food. This is hands down my 1st choice to a breakfast place. The owner always there cooking helping out. The owner works just as hard as his employees an thats speak volume to me. Ted's is a place to relax an enjoy you can read the paper in peace get relaxed or enjoy good conversation with others ,the crowd is always polite. An just as an bonus those brownies they sale are stupendous!!😍 they are yummy 😋 greatly priced and big in size!! This is 1 ma and pa restaurant i would highly recommend hands down!! You won't be sorry!!

Food was good, but all my food did not come all at once. I planned on a burger and shake but had to wait till after the meal for the shake. Tough job for just one server. Friend had fish fry, there was a long grey hair in his rye bread.

Good place for good icer cream. Just make sure that the staff there actually sees you and isn't too busy downing their own sundae to not only take your order, but get it to you before you are forced to go somewhere else! This has happened more than once... Too bad, we did like the place quite a lot.

I don't know how you wouldn't love this place. It's a cozy diner with good food at an extremely low cost. It's got all the classics and the portions are adequate. Service is always very friendly and prompt. Since moving to this neighborhood, I have been to Ted's almost once a week. Dining here is like taking a step back in time in all the good ways!!

This place is a gem. Shhhh, don't tell anyone... it's already busy enough! It's classic good food at great prices. The portions are appropriate, the décor is simple, the seating is "odd" by today's "standards" but actually its a lot of fun! I always get a chocolate Malt with breakfast, YES, breakfast. To comment on some other reviews, yes the place is small, so yeah, everyone will look up to see who just came in the door, (more to see if they know you) and then they go back to eating or chatting. I don't see what the big deal is about that. As for rude waitresses, not in my experiences (dozens over the last 9 years). And I'm sorry, but if you get offended because they tell you they aren't serving breakfast anymore, (which I've had happen) I'm sorry but its time to go home and get a hug from your mother and then put on your big boy pants. It's a diner. Fast, great value, good food, busy waitresses, good coffee, great Malts. A really unique place!

The wrap-around counter of this small "diner" will put you close and comfortable with everyone around, including the staff, as you enjoy a well cooked, simple, and incredibly inexpensive meal. It feels like a place you go as a local, and once you're there for a little while you become a local. Don't skip the malts or shakes, these things are the real deal. Large enough to share, but you may not want to they are so delicious. Their home made ice cream sets them apart. Ted's is my new favorite place to grab a quick, low cost bite.

I've been going to Ted's since I was a little kid and no place has better chocolate malts. Now that I have little kids I go often with them mainly for breakfast but also for Friday fish fry and the occasional lunch. The food is good, the staff is friendly and you just can't help but love that old time diner feel.

I have always wanted to find one of those diners of yesteryear that actually serves good food and decent coffee and is mostly regulars who know eachother. My wife and I stopped in early one morning and found it at Ted's. Great prices and good food with service refers to you as "hun' or 'sweetie'.

I have been to this resturaunt several times. I never had a bad meal yet. The waitresses are freindly and like to joke around with the patrons. I have eaten the eggs, omlets and I have ordered ham egg and cheese on a hard roll and it has always been good!!! Don't listen to the bad reviews on here find out for yourself. I will always be a repeat customer.

How did I not find this place sooner?! There is NO other place in Tosa where you can get breakfast for two (with very generous portions), coffee, and orange juice for $10!! Their Eggs Benedict is amazing. They also have great malts and shakes. This is definitely one my favorite spots, as I just moved to Tosa a few weeks ago.
