It takes a long time to get your order and the portions are very small,you damn near have to order two combos to get filled up. The food is hit & miss on the same day at the same time. My food was decent,but my brother and mother's food was bad. I wish they had gotten the original Redds Snapper recipe for their fish. I miss that taste and flavor. They may suffer from being short staffed or just this generation of kids that don't care too much about working. Either way I would give them another shot because they are Black owned,but if I get it a third time and it's bad,that's not going to matter for me,I will spend my money elsewhere.

This is the only place my father will get fish from in the whole city of Milwaukee. It’s fresh every time and the owner+ staff are so kind. If there is ever an issue, you just talk to the owner and he WILL MAKE SURE ITS RIGHT. Love this place! 10/10 every time.

We ordered a half and half of perch and catfish. I asked if they could do that for the 30ct, and they did. Which was very nice of them to do. We also ordered their okra, but it had a lot of hard stringy pieces that we had to remove, since it wasn't edible. The portion of the fish was a decent size, but was a little over fried that made the fish a little dry. The seasonings for the okra could be a little less seasoned, which would help tone down the salt taste. I can't complain about the price we paid. My family is a large family so we have to order more than your typical family of 4. The place was clean and ran very orderly. The staff greeted us right away and when the young lady took our order, she referred to someone right away for confirmation and she was good about the approximation of when our meal would be ready. It's been a couple of years since we last ate from here. Over all the family was happy with their dinner. I'm sure we'll be back soon since they're the only restaurant that I know of that serves fish on any day and not just fridays.

The food here was ok I feel like you don't get what you pay for the batter was hot that was on the chicken and fish everyone can't eat spicy foods and it was fried so hard the catfish filets was so small. Just didn't get what I payed for very disappointed.

Seamless even during this circumstance. Order placed, waited outside in car and the order was brought to car by masked employee. Same as before. Efficiency level is the same, but they don't carry Mrs Dyes pies anymore.

I would give it more stars but I didn't try the food. I was doordashing for this place. I've never heard of red snapper fish but inside the restaurant was very clean. Might go back as a customer. The wait for the food was a little long but the customer who ordered doordash didn't mind. There was also two people in front of me.

I first enter the door...I was greeted with "Greetings, Welcome to Red Snappers" by a gentleman at the register. I was "Okay now 🥰" (they all laugh) I felt special walking in 🥰 The cashier was knowledgeable of the menu. He (I wish I had his name 😖, sorry) but he helped me pick a delicious perch dinner 😋👌 and to top it off. I went to go in my car to wait for it to be prepared and this lovely young lady brought it to my car 😳🥰 customer service was great! Great job guys 🙋🏻‍♀️

I'm definitely cautiously optimistic here but, for now, I'm increasing my star rating from 2 to 4 stars for them. I hadn't been here in about a year because the service & everything had gotten so terrible over the years. However, I see that they've remodeled & seem to have made a lot of changes for the better including with staffing. The perch I ordered was very good & clearly a different recipe than before. Although nobody answered the phone when I called beforehand, service seemed to be faster than before. They even have a website & online ordering now which I will be trying out eventually. My only complaint would be about the price which is quite a bit more. Other than that, I think they've improved for the better & I'll try them again soon to make sure this wasn't a fluke.

Visited for the first time today. I ordered the four piece catfish fillet dinner. Sides were mac and cheese and yams. And I also ordered the peach cobbler. Everything was delicious. Very clean and courteous staff. Clean, recently updated establishment. For the portion size I received, I feel that pricing was fair . I would definitely go back.

Great customer service! 100 people said hello to me when I walked through the door. 😁 You could tell that everyone was busy working efficiently trying to push out orders as fast as possible. I wanted to spend my money today at a black owned business and my future daughter-in-law @Carsyn Taylor recommended this place to me. This was my 1st visit to this location. The food was excellent! We had the 10 pc catfish fillets and a 4 pcs catfish fillet! Well seasoned and fries was on point! Will return!

I liked the fact that their new renovations fit the environment. It's clean with bright ligting which gives it an uplifting atmosphere. They have condensed their side orders but have incorporated a little southern taste to the sides they do have. Their service to the customers is very professional.

I had a bad experience with this place like 10years ago....and my sister told me it has changed owners since Soni should try it again. So I did and I was so pleased with the food...this will be my go to ...mater of fact I'm going to stop after work and get me some of those delicious shrimp...two thumbs up 👍👍

I been excited to come back since the re open to get the gumbo. Unfortunately they don't have the same owners The gumbo was horrible. It look like mush and very spicy. Not what i am use too from red snapper. My catfish steaks were good. I shouldn't have to ask for tarter sauce but to get it i guess you have to ask since its home made cole slaw was good.

Waited about 1hour & 40 minutes for our food. That's the bad thing. But the food was excellent. I haven't had Red Snapper in at least 5 years and i will be back. Would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the wait.

My first visit was shortly after this establishment was opened and I was not impressed. This visit really turned my opinion around. There was no one in the place which gave them the time to invest in my meal and I'm grateful for it. The CATFISH PO'BOY was delightful. 2 crispy fillets seasoned just right, on a fresh hoagie roll, lettuce, tomato, & remoulade. The fries were hot not as crisp as I like but were delicious nonetheless with a side of slaw. I WILL BE BACK.

Wasnt what i remembered as a child. But the location looks updated, and upgraded. Kinda prefer the rundown soul look with the great great food over the upbeat higher scale location with the just ok blue collar food. Times has changed, And they've changed with them.

I want to believe in this black owned business but they need to improve on customer service. The phone rang without answer when I tried calling my order in. The young lady at the register told us that we could order the 7 or 14 shrimp dinner but not the 10 piece although it was listed. She gave no reason other than she couldn't ring it up. She didn't try, she didn't ask for help. So, we left without ordering any. I'll give this place one more try and then that's it.

Service is great! Well improved service, organization, aesthetic appeal and timing. Looks very modern, clean. I have one issue. Why didnt they buy the recipe for the fish from the last business??? That part was a big mistake as people from mke know that distinct batter and taste of the old red snapper. They were known for the best fish which is why people waited in long lines, disorganization, and poor service. I would say go back and get the recipe from Auntie Nem' !!! Let them show you how they made the fish etc. Also get rid of the peach cobbler Issa a no. The gumbo was 5 star, mac, spaghetti were all good too. Please go get the recipe for the fish and everything else would be perfect. Love how they have hot and ready to go sides also.

Today’s restaurant: REDD’S SNAPPER II on Lisbon. My biggest question is…how do you fry up a basket of fish, and it not be greasy? I never thought it was possible. But, that’s the case at Redd’s. Darn good fried fish! No greasy feeling afterwards. Their fried mushrooms are the BOMB DIGGITY! And, who ever heard of a “side” of spaghetti?? Redd’s, that’s who. And, its just like my granny used to make. So, I’m giving Redd’s Snapper II a whopping four out five…OH OH OH OH YEAH!

the perch bucket is pretty decent and the banana pudding is good (when it has bananas in it lol) but the coleslaw is nasty as hell. i never had they catfish, but I definitely know Sharks on 60th got the best catfish. but if you want you some good perch you should try Red Snapper on Lisbon
