Good place for great food. Got the ribs and their fries for myself. Fries were a little too salty but the ribs were absolutely fantastic! Super tender, fall off the bone. And their house sauce was a perfect combination. Definitely would recommend. And worth wading through the crowds in the Public Market to get some food here.

The pulled pork sandwich and fries are fantastic! We also of course had some ribs and those were so incredibly tender and fell off the bone. Great spot, definitely had me looking up if they had a stand-alone location.

So I will admit growing up in the south I am a harsh judge of smoked meats...that said, the ribs were well done. Good smoke, a chew and some good rub. However, the chopped brisket was a disaster. No smoke ring, bland flavor and just dry. Sorry Pat but this was just not brisket "cue"

Pat's Rib Place is absolutely amazing. While Kansas City, Memphis, Carolina and Texas all hold amazing BBQ accolades - Pat's might be in a category of its own. The pulled pork sandwich might be the best I've ever had and being able to see the work of BBQ smoking right in front of you, you're guaranteed that everything just fell off the bone moments before. The sauces here are out of this world. Pat's House Sauce might be the best BBQ sauce I've ever had and the amount of delicious options are at your convenience to try. If you live in downtown Milwaukee, or are visiting the 3rd Ward and Public Market - I would highly, highly recommend getting to Pat's. The staff is also amazing. Super friendly, very helpful and fast!

Instant favorite, holy cow! The brisket was fatty, moist, flavorful, and smokey and the barbecue sauce that I got (Alisha's special) was so sweet, just enough spice, and a little smokey as well. The coleslaw was incredible and I usually do not like coleslaw. It wasn't smashed with mayo, it had a nice mustard flavor in it. This place is my new favorite in the third ward!

My husband got food here during our visit to MPM. He got the smoked beef brisket sandwich and declared it “exceptional.” The special sauce added a lot of great flavor to what was already fantastic brisket. And the side of Mac and cheese bites….phenomenal. On par with his favorite place that went out of business during COVID. Thumbs up for the coleslaw too! Service was great and plenty of food for a hungry man. Would definitely recommend!

My sister and I were resting outside and I noticed a guy making something through the window. We walked over and saw he was making coleslaw. We went inside the market and ordered ribs, brisket, coleslaw and house sauce. It was AMAZING. Of course I had to get a root beer float too and it brought me back to my childhood. What a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to go back.

We finally changed our options at the Public market today. Pats Rib Place is definitely the new option. We ordered Ribs and Tips with the smoked fries cooked to perfection great smoked flavors, the sauce 😋& great portions! Win-Win!!

I purchased the smoked beef brisket sandwich and banana pudding. The beef was juicy, tender and flavorful, not at all fatty. I enjoyed the brown sugar sauce and my daughter liked the house sauce on her half of the sandwich. The pickles were surprisingly good, crispy and fresh. The banana pudding was thick and flavorful with 3 vanilla wafers tops. I would recommend this place to anyone. I can’t wait to go back and try all their other dishes. The staff was friendly and even the cooks smiled from the back room.

I had smoke fries, fried okra, and rib tips. It was very very very delicious. Shout out to the chief. The rib tips was perfect, I don't remember the sauce I had but it was little spicy. Went well on the rib tips. The next time I'm in Milwaukee I will definitely go again to try more items. My mouth is watering again as I type this. I definitely recommend this place you won't be disappointed

I was super excited to try this place, so when I went to the market today and saw it was open I went for it! I got the BBQ pulled pork sandwich, which came with coleslaw and pickles, and an order of baked beans. The sandwich was DELICIOUS! Some of the best I've had! However, I was disappointed by the beans. They were very tasty for sure, but when I ordered them I expected to have a good amount, at the very least half a cups worth. Instead, I got a very tiny, probably no more than a 1/4 cup worth of beans. Being that they were a separate item to order on the side, priced around $3, I anticipated there being more. I would for sure go again for that sandwich, but I wouldn't order anything else there.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners yesterday at a restaurant and learned about him and his wife's rib place. We decided to check it out today and it was outstanding! We ordered the 4 ribs and 1/2 lb ribtips, with two different sauces. All of it was delicious and reasonably priced, especially for the great quality! If you're looking for great bbq, this is the place for you!

Excellent rib tips! I went on a Monday and the special was buy one get one free (I ordered the 1/2 pound). The meat is extremely tender, smokey and moist with the right amount of fat and gristle. Reminds me of back home bbq! I will definitely buy again. Continued blessings!!!

Best ribs in town... love me some of those sweet summer spices. My favorite is the brisket, but my Nana she swears by the pastrami. We always stop here for takeout before we visit our friends on N Oakland in Milwaukee. Pat's is the place to go for the best ribs in Wisconsin!

As a bbq fan from North Carolina I've had the pleasure of travelling to many restaurants and bbq shacks around the country. Few can come close to Pat's in terms of the quality of the smoked meats, the amazing sides, but most importanly the hospitality of the staff. I recommend them to every out of town BBQ fan who comes to the 414.
