Excellent! I had the chilaquiles in green sauce (gluten free) with carnitas, my dining partner had the pork belly bowl (not gluten free). Both good. Though he liked mine more 😂 and says he plans to order that next time. The carnitas were pretty perfect. Veggie cakes (gluten free) were good. I would have preferred them as a base to something but he enjoyed them on their own with sour cream. We had the Acupulo drinks and they were perfection as well. Summery and tasted like vacation. Next time tbh I will skip the coffee and likely put the money toward the $5 cocktail special while enjoying my meal. We will return.

This was an amazing find! Started with Mango Habanero wings and they are probably the BEST wings we have ever had. They alone would be worth the one hour drive. Saturday $5 Bloody Marys were delicious as were the Veggie Cakes with Eggs and the innovative Spicy Rooster Salad. Servers were friendly, attentive, and thoughtfully offered a coffee in a to go cup at the end of our meal. Restaurant was really clean and tastefully decorated. A new favorite for sure!

Lots of great drinks to choose from to start off the day! Odd location for this kind of restaurant, but worth a stop. The food was pretty good, service and atmosphere was amazing! The Deep Fried Cheesecake could just a little drizzle of something.

We really enjoyed our meals here. The server was very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this place for a nice breakfast or brunch. We are from out of town but if we find ourselves in Milwaukee again I would come back to Orenda

The breakfast options are pretty incredible. I got the pollo picante omelette and it was delicious! Also, the service was fantastic and friendly! Highly recommend visiting, and I know I will be returning.

Stopped here on a trip to Milwaulkee & absolutely loved it! The food was delicious (highly recommend the smores french toast & pollo picante omlette) & the staff were friendly and attentive. It was not as packed as I would have expected on a weekend either. Highly reminiscent of Another Broken Egg cafe if you have ever tried it, except their food & cocktails are arguably better.

We've been here a few times for brunch and it's always incredible! There's never a long wait and the staff is super kind and friendly. The food is SO GOOD and super reasonably priced. My husband and I usually get a breakfast entree each (I'm a chilaquiles girl) and then he upgrades his side to specialty pancakes for us to share 😎

We were. In Milwaukee this weekend for the state fair and so this came up to eat and so we went for breakfast on Saturday morning and the food and service was AMAZING!!!! Totally recommend if you are looking for a place to eat. If we are ever back in the area would eat there again!! The food portions were huge and very tasty. Keep up the great work.

First time we've been to this place. Went with friends as a party of six. We were accommodated but the place is really set up for 2s and 4s. Good was great, bloody Marys were very good. Coffee was ok. Lots of veg in even the meaty dishes, a pleasant surprise. Portions were substantial. Prices were very reasonable. Parking is on the street, but Sunday morning this wasn't a problem. Will go again.

Ordered delivery, everything arrived looking great! But holy blandness. Everything was cooked perfectly but they didn't use any seasoning whatsoever-- not even salt. Perkins level bland. Hoping that's a one off, I'll definitely give them another try!

This is quite the hidden gem. We stumbled upon it when another restaurant near by had an hour wait and we were hungry. They have a very unique menu with things you don't ordinarily see at a small diner. It was hard to choose but I settled on the salmon and egg breakfast. It was delicious and prices are very reasonable. They will even give you coffee to go. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The place itself is nothing fancy but it was very clean and well maintained. Would love to go back and try other items on the menu.

I've been to Orenda three times now and have not been disappointed by their food menu. In this round, I got the carnitas hash which was filling, just needed a lime to put on the meat and it would've been maximum delicious. My girlfriend got the smoked chicken skillet which was more flavorful than my carnitas hash and equally as filling. Only downside is the sometimes slow service. The servers there love to connect with the folks and talk a lot, which I think is why the service can be slow at times. Nice people nonetheless. The atmosphere could use some sound dampening wall art, it can be pretty loud when it's very full in there. It is only street parking, which can be a pain I the winter but I've been able to find a spot right away with a less than block walk.

Service was great, food was delicious, pricing was reasonable, and there were plenty of interesting options to select from. Servers had a great attitude and joked around with us, while being attentive and timely. The food was seasoned perfectly - no need for ketchup on potato waffles! It makes a great sit-down lunch spot for those looking for more lunch options in the area. Access to more available / convenient parking would give this 5 stars, though I was admittedly there during a busy time period. We will be back again!

Watching Fox 6 this morning and saw their segment on Orenda Café, and was pleased to see its located close to home. We immediately got dressed and headed out. In fact Fox 6 was just heading out when we arrived. Upon arrival we could see how well they renovated the old Silver City Café. It is absolutely beautiful inside. As you can see in some of the photos it's very modern and trendy. The staff are super welcoming and friendly right when you walk in. They are very attentive and helpful. The restaurant is clean with a sense of upscale but homey. First thing I ordered was coffee and it is Anodyne Coffee so you already know it's great coffee. The table setup was very clean, neat and my wife said pretty. The menu isn't huge but its full of great options. We had to order two dishes each just so we could try their food. I ordered the Chilaquiles with steak and the Egs Benedict. My wife ordered the Silver City Omelet and Chocolate Splosion (can't remember how they spelled Explosion). My intent was to eat just a little from each dish but I finished the whole Eggs Benedict plate with potatoes. I mean I destroyed it! Yes it was that GREAT! I just love Eggs Benedict and Orenda's has a an excellent version! That's not saying the Chilaquiles were bad because they were AWESOME! The steak was pretty good but they serve it with a green maybe Avocado dipping spread and that's so good it'll "Make You Slap your Momma!" The Chilaquiles had what I always look for and that is a crunch still in the tortilla. Many places fail to have a crunch still. The Chilaquiles were slightly spicy but perfectly cooked! GREAT JOB CHEF! My wife said her Omelet with the goat cheese was to die for, twice, I mean die twice for it. Then eat it again while your dead from the first bite. She said the pancakes definitely were definitely filled with an explosion of chocolate! Bottom line not too expensive, local, great service, great atmosphere and great food. Good job Orenda and thank you for opening near me!

A gem! We heard about Orenda when they opened and ordered take-out a number of times (FANTASTIC, every time) and today we finally went in for a meal. First, the staff is some of the most genuinely welcoming, friendly group of folks I've encountered anywhere. The host was so sweet and accommodating and our server was exceptional. We had three adults, two kids and were helped readily and regularly. The adults ordered power bowls (2x serrano pork belly and one veggie hash) with toast and pancakes and fruit as sides. Healthy (big but not crazy) portions, big flavors, super fresh. Kids had cheeseburger and french toast with fruit. No reduced quality on the kiddo offerings. We all left feeling happy and satisfied. I love this restaurant and can't wait to go back ♥️

Outstanding food… perfect place to go for chilaquiles and carnitas (on my list of best I’ve ever had) a tiny bit overly salted, but I didn’t mind, my poached and soft scrambled eggs were on point. Prefer green sauce over the red, but both good. Green sauce seems lighter in flavor. Red more robust… personal preference. Love the chips and edamame/guacamole. Sunday $5 mimosas (grapefruit and OJ) tasty! closes at 3:00. Their sriracha wings are excellent! 6/25/22 we arrived at 2:38 3 staff members stared at us Wished someone would have said right away “I’m so sorry, but we’re closed” I really love this place But felt staff could have handled it better Don’t list closing time at 3:00 Kitchen closes at 2:30 on the website would be helpful please.

I just ate at Orenda Cafe for the second time and have to leave this review - this place is just the freshest and friendliest casual dining experience I have had in Milwaukee. The food is so thoughtful and flavorful. It's definitely "diner-esque" but elevated in just the most beautiful way both in terms of flavors, textures and presentation. Both times I have visited, the service has been very welcoming, friendly and the right balance of attentive to make my visit enjoyable, while leaving ample room for conversation with my companions. The interior and table settings are simple, clean and contemporary - unpretentious and very comfortable. I've had brunch and lunch there now, both times with a friend and every dish has been spot on, scrumptious and very satisfying. I can't say enough! Definitely visit.

My favorite little hole in the wall! I encourage all my friends and family to come here. The food is always great. A big plus is that there are decent options for vegans/vegetarians like myself (I love the veggie cakes and veggie sausages 🤤) and it’s a great portion size. I will say, The most recent time I didn’t have the best experience with my waitress so I was bummed.. but I get how the restaurant industry can be. It’s a smaller place but everyone is working hard, it shows. At the end of the day, I can’t stay away and always recommend. 😩

I found this to be a very impressive restaurant . The inside space is clean and well decorated. The menus was innovative. We had chicken wings n a wonderful mango jalapeño sauce as a breakfast starter!! The spicy Bloody Mary was exactly that and the vegetable cake and eggs really made for an excellent breakfast/ brunch. The waitress was very attentive and I have no hesitation in giving it what for me is a rare five stars.

Step into Orenda Cafe and you might as well be at home. This elegant breakfast and lunch location caters well to those with distinguished tastes. Their avocado burger was stacked modestly with sliced avocado and goat cheese. Paired a side of waffle fries, this dish is sure to leave you with nothing but the best of lunchtime memories.

This gem could be 5 stars and I absolutely recommend you try it! I'll get to why not 5 in a minute. The positives, the Bloody Maria is top notch, among the best I've had. They make their own bloody mix and it's fantastic. The Marias were great and I can only imagine the Marys would be their equal. What they call bell pepper hash, it's basically potatoes O'Brien, really good. The coffee is good too, btw. We had omelets for entrees. While not BAD, they were quite bland especially in comparison to everything else, which was surprising. We tried some of their house made salsas on them. Honestly the biggest improvement came with salt and Tapatio hot sauce. Also to note was the service. Today we had Nicole, she is top notch and I can't say enough about how good she is at what she does. I really do hope I am in town long enough to visit again, for a Bloody Mary if nothing else! I really do want to try a Benedict, there are several on the menu that sound great.

I love this place and that includes their food truck. I absolutely recommend stopping and grabbing a bite to eat. This time I ordered 3 🌮, 2 of which were beef and 1 was barbacoa and they were amazing. I also ordered rice and beans as a side and it complimented my tacos perfectly. Besides the food being delicious the prices are good too. They also have some delicious breakfast options. Don't sleep on here, get up, get out and get some food!

Excellent! I had the carnitas hash and WOW! Local apricot jam for the English muffin blows away the little artificially flavored grape packs you find most places. Great coffee, Great service. Highly recommend!!!! Thank you Orenda. See ya next time.

PALOMAS on Tuesday is the thing to do here!! Service : amazing, fast, cordial, and on point, food was very fast and the server kept us happy! Food: we had the built your own omelette, ad the chimichangas. The omelette was delish and huge, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The chimichangas we're just crunchy and full of flavored, I wish they were just a bit bigger but at the end I couldn't finish the entire plate, so it was perfect!.

Had the 5 Grain Steak. The bowl is bursting with flavor and hearty grains and veggies. It took me 2 bites to acquire a sweeter steak dish, which I eventually enjoyed as I continued eating. I wanted something hearty, not the typical steak, hash, eggs, and toast. This definitely hit the spot, I dont feel so full and heavy after eating (which is how I generally feel after eating a steak breakfast). The dish itself was filling, I ate this dish slower than normally, worth the price. Came with 2 pancakes or muffin, I got the pancakes (4-5 inches in diameter). Ill be back for the common steak and eggs next time. Went at 9am, only customer. Service was great and host was attentive. Atmosphere was a nice quaint, modern feel. Its perfect for small groups, best for solo diners like myself. They have a great daily drink menu for 5$. Check it out for brunch.

First of all, this is an INCREDIBLY clean restaurant. The food is amazing, very tasty, well prepared, good sized portions and fairly priced. The atmosphere is great for small group but could potentially seat up to a party of 10. Oh, and the drinks are GREAT! Don't pass up this place.

The food was really good and even the simple things like the bacon slices where of a better quality than most dinners. The service was excellent and the waiter was beyond helpful. It was nice and cool inside despite the hot weather.

Trendy Brunch Spot We were impressed with the cleanliness and decor in this restaurant that I would describe as Walker's Point chic. Our server, Elise, was personable and efficient while serving our party of seven. She made sure we were "coffeed up" as we waited for our meals, as we probably overwhelmed the kitchen staff. Our meals were huge and well presented at a reasonable price. The menu is quite diverse and included options for all tastes, such as vegetarian and vegan. Would recommend Orenda to all looking for a fresh change in the near Southside of Milwaukee.

Elsie gave us great customer service! The food was delicious , and the chicken sandwich with the spicy mayo was brilliant! I really enjoyed the waffle fries, very airy and crispy. Only thing is the top of the menu said the two options for bread was ciabatta and brioche and when i was placing the order there was the option of brioche or multigrain, still super delicious though!

Holy cow! This place is good! I'm still shocked there wasn't a wait to be seated. The chilaquiles were the best I've had in a long long time. The pork belly flavor and crispness was perfect. The bacon jam French toast was no joke. Bottomless mimosas kept flowing and the $3 strawberry banana daiquiri was exquisite. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for breakfast in the area.

Had brunch there today. It's my new favorite restaurant. I had a french toast dish with fresh fruit.!!!!! Outstanding. I lived in Silver City for 6 years and I have been amazed to watch the transformation in the neighborhood and all of the new businesses. This restaurant is a WONDERFUL addition to the neighborhood!! The food we had was all delicious and the service was excellent. I actually had a lot of trouble choosing what to try because so many dishes sounded good. I'll have to go back soon to try another dish. The building itself is so cute and clean looking. I love the renovations! I no longer live in Silver City, but it's worth the drive back to my old stomping grounds to take friends to this new restaurant. (While you're in the neighborhood, I would also suggest grabbing a coffee at Velobahn and taking a stroll on the Hank Aaron trail!)

I love this Cafe! I will-be-back! It is reasonably priced, there were several dishes we wanted to order. We all loved our food. The staff, diners and neighborhood were diverse and friendly. good food with a unique menu. However, did have a slight problem with my food..found a plastic piece in my food from a bag of bread..which made me completely lose my appetite. But overall, great place and willing to give it another chance. I do wish they would sweep the outside street to make it look nice..They should also do some more advertising. I didn't even know what it was until I saw something about the restaurant online. Some flowers would look awesome outside the doors too. I did like the food very much and want to keep a place like yours in town.

Oh my God this was my first time coming here for breakfast. My server Adriana made my stay incredibly satisfying. She recommended the over easy eggs for the chilaquiles breakfast platter, I could not have been more satisfied. The cook was very quick with the food and I had a lot on my plate with the entree you have the option to get pancakes for bread as well. Long story short I left very full and happy with the choice of coming to orenda. I will be coming back. This place looks amazing inside.

We tried Orenda Cafe this Sunday morning because the wait at a few other brunch places was so long. There was no wait at Orenda. I ordered the smoked chicken and pablano skillet with a side of pancakes. The skillet was to die for and way more food than I could ever eat in one sitting. The pancakes were incredibly sweet, light, and fluffy. Service was excellent! The bloody mary was a little too sweet for me, I prefer more spice. Aside from that, everything else was perfect. I highly recommend trying a brunch here!

Pork belly Benedict was ok. The bacon potatoes hash not so good. Note the was door dash delivery order, which was late. The temperature was luke warm to cold. I like to try the restaurant again in person when pandemic is over, which thinking hot food maybe give a better review

The level of details in flavor is outstanding. The complexity of sweet, sour, salty, bit, umami, heat... very unique fusion, I’m impressed. *picture of half way through braised pork belly sandwich. Didn’t finish the hash browns because I was way too full.

Service was very prompt and courteous. The atmosphere was great. I the silver city omelette and was very satisfied. My girlfriend had the national benedict. She it was the best benedict she had in a long time. Looking forward to going back again.

Got take out because of the Rona but was over all good. Had to ask for straws and got no silverware which hurt the rating. Nothing to write home about but a solid brunch spot. Really appreciated making of the horchata and hibiscus tea drink on the spot.
