I ordered food on my birthday, and the food is great, the coffee is so-so. But I'll never order from a Karen of a driver again. I recommend ordering the food (sunny side up and hash browns) again tho.

Delicious home maid meals. Great breakfast! There is small parking on the area. Goodluck with the street parking since it’s usually busy. Ordered the corned beef hash and the biscuit and gravy. There food is always great. Then you pay at the register. A smaller restaurant with amazing food.

Way too much oil all over my plate from how thy fry the eggs so I used a dinner napkin to absorb most of it them cornbeef hash potatoes were good . Good service from waitress but I didn't complain to her about the abundance greasy oil on my plate.

Michaels has been around since I was a child and although the ambience hasn’t changed much the food is still really good, we came in on a busy Sunday morning and the food took a little longer to cook but tasted amazing great amount of food for a great price and definitely gives you the mom and pop family restaurant feel would definitely return and order different options off the menu seeing as there’s so much to choose from

During a stay in Milwaukee I had two meals at Michael's. Lunch, which was tacos, rice and beans; and a breakfast of two poached eggs, hash browns, sausage and coffee. Both meals were excellent. The staff were wonderful. Thank you Michael's for great food and great hospitality!

The food was good...the biscuits and gravy not so much....the gravy tasted like it came from a can. The customer service was ok. Didn't check on us at all and wasn't asked if we want refills on our drinks...but friendly-ish when she brought our food. I gave 3 stars mostly for the pancakes and Mexican omelets we got...they were delicious!

Staff is very friendly, food is good, and reasonably priced. Reason I took 2 stars is because of 1 visit in which the waitress knowingly served me spoiled chili which made me sick. When I went to pay I found out she knew and did it anyway.

I've had great meals there before, but I was forgotten this time. I was in the front, little two seater. It was two pm on a Friday. My waffle was so lukewarm the the butter hadn't melted. Returned to warm but then my plate was forgotten and still cold when returned back to me. Very disappointed.

I have gotten this restaurant confused with the other Michael's Family style place off 84th and Cleveland. However now that I am aware they are not related or part of a chain I tried it and liked it! Perfect place for that big breakfast you are craving on Sunday morning (Or any time for that matter) with tons of classics and giant portions. Plus I am in love with the old school dessert carousel that is up at the front remaining me to always grab something...even if it is to go... because every kind of pie, cake, etc. gives me that sweet tooth craving the second I walk in and the moment I leave 🤗❤🍨🍩🎂🍰😀

Went there about 2 days ago and was very impressed. I'm very happy they have changed their hours to stay open later. The food is good and the staff are great. If you stop in make sure to grab a $10 off card when you order form grubhub for the first time. I grabbed one on my way out the door and out it to use the next day lol. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because they ran out of grits. I love grits so that was a bummer for me.

I must say the chicken soup was a treat but mostly only in the taste. My reviews are very hard and the owner must know this. The tie does not make the man the man makes the tie. My soup was spilled over and served a little too cold. Not figuratively but literally. The waitress was great i sense that i may have made her a little nervous.
