Reviews of EE-Sane Thai-Lao Cuisine
Lucy McChesney
My friend and I came here for dinner the other night. I absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere and the decorations. The appetizers we ordered were phenomenal! I definitely recommend trying the spring rolls. In addition, the flavors on their main dishes are outstanding. I felt like everything was melting perfectly in my mouth! This is a great place to take your family or on a date!
Megan Moretti
Ordered the Pad Thai, BBQ Pork Spring Rolls, and Thai Iced Tea for take out. I’ve walked past EE-Sane often and have been meaning to get some food from here! The spring rolls were huge (larger than my head) and comes with 2. Portion of pad Thai was also large, I will be having leftovers. The Thai Iced Tea is the best I’ve had in Milwaukee, can tell it’s made in house. Staff was very kind and prepared my order in a timely manner.
Sherry Lee
I’ve been coming here since 2009! Love it! Pad Thai, Pork Laab, crispy pad see u, sticky rice, chicken wings!
Update: came here again to try Volcano duck & an absolute must try! Husband is obsessed.
Amber Sharma
Literally the best Thai food I have ever had. My whole family (who hails from Asia) absolutely love it, too. I've been coming here for a long time. The people who work here are so friendly as well! They always get our orders right, and our food always comes in a timely manner.
PLEASE NOTE: They do "Asian spicy" here (because it's an authentic restaurant, duh), so don't be upset if you specifically order spicy food and can't handle it.... Looking at you, white people... If you're white, I'd order a 2 or 3 on the spicy scale - trust me, that will be more than enough spice. For anyone who actually can handle their spice, well, the sky is the limit. My brother-in-law consistently orders a spice level of 15 here (which would send most people straight to Dante's inferno). I get a 5 or 6 usually and I can handle my spice pretty well. Proceed with caution. For what it's worth, though, the food tastes amazing. Even if you order a dish that's too spicy, you'll want to keep eating through the pain because it's just that good.
I usually go with the panang curry, but I've had several other [vegetarian] dishes and I've always been impressed by the complexity of flavors.
Overall, 10/10.

The staff is so sweet and kind! I ordered take out for my birthday and had to wait a little bit for my food to be finished since I live close by. I was invited in and offered a tea free of charge. I chatted with the staff and learned they’ve been in Milwaukee for more than 30 years. The menu is huge so you’ll definitely find something you’ll like. FYI it is spicy! If you can’t handle spice just go for 0-2. I’m so happy I found this place and can’t wait to go back.

This place has the best selection of Laos region Thai cuisine in Brew City!!! I ate all the goodness out o the Tom Ka Kai soup before remembering to take a pic... I also Dug into the delicious Volcano Duck & mutilated all is beauty but it was beautiful to my belly!
Christian Spiering
Very good for spicy lovers! They don't mess around here. 6/10 was nearing my limit and I have pretty good tolerance. Huge menu. Prices were a bit high ($15-$20) for most entrees
Devan Gomez
Great authentic Thai cuisine with pungent and assertive flavors. Each dish may be ordered on a spice scale with 10 levels, and 10 is dangerously spicy! I ordered the EE-Sane noodles, which came with an egg roll - even the egg roll was unusually delicious with a fish sauce flavored sweet dip. Food came out ~ 7 minutes after I ordered. Highly recommended.
Andrea Fetting
Tried the Shrimp Pad Thai for lunch today, it was sooo delicious!. Perfectly seasoned sauce, nice medium heat level. It really hit the spot!
Large portions for the price, will be back to try something else off the menu!
The Borg Cooking Show
Food was fantastic. The menu is quite large. I definitely need to come back to try everything

Went to dinner with family. Almost every restaurant on NE side of Milw,. has "take out only", but this comfy little Asian restaurant had plenty of seats available at 5:30/5:45 pm on Sat, Mar 12,2022. The food is "HEALTHY & DELICIOUS", Great service, & fast. Check it out for yourself!! U "will" like this Asian mom & pop style spot for a yummy dinner, & a nice place. Atmosphere was interesting!! Not to pricey either. Leave a tip, the servers move fast they deserve a good tip!!!
Natalie Ward
Service and food were great and came out quickly! Loved the Squash Curry with Chicken!
Woody Burns
I’m leaving four stars because when I went to pick up my food no one that worked there was wearing masks. The lady at the front was also not very inviting, verging on rude. It wouldn’t have bothered me but they told me my food would take 30 minutes and I gave them 40 because of other reviews saying they take a while and my food still wasn’t ready. The food is amazing though. Best curry I’ve ever had, hands down. I got the yellow curry and spring rolls, which were also amazing. Will definitely be a regular, just wish my personal experience was better.

overall one of my favorite restaurants. I've think this small Thai place in Milwaukee is really good. They are random with service and availability. Called during a busier time and they just weren't answering the phone... When they did after several attempts and being out on hold for 10+ minite.. told me it would be an hour and a half wait.
Nathan Mitchell
It's been more than 20yrs since I've been to EE-Sane but the food was as good as I remember. I had the Singapore noodles meal. Spice level 5. I don't eat alot of pork but this pork was delicious. Shrimp were large, noodles were spicy and the cabbage was flavorful. Can't wait to try something else! Can somebody say Volcano Shrimp?
Jamison Bryant
I love this place. It's a comfortable, casual atmosphere, and the food is excellent. The people are friendly, and I have never had a long wait for my food. Personal favorites are (as termed on their menu) thai pad prik, volcano duck, and ee sane noodle. They use a 0-10 scale for spiciness, so keep that in mind when ordering. Give them a try!
Dave V
Absolutely fantastic food. Best Thai we’ve had in years.
Shawn Hittman
I take out from EE-Sane about once a month and it's always fresh, they always have the big fresh rolls. I know there's another very popular Thai place up the street that's also very good, but I like the curry here just a smidgen better. Repeat customer for life :)
Amber
The most amazing Thai food ever, I promise!!!
My husband and I have been going here for years and will go out of our way to come here. Literally everything on their menu is delicious, and the staff is super friendly. And, they don't go easy on spice when you ask them for "spicy". Which, I love! My husband is from India & I have inadvertently trained myself to endure spice through knowing him for over a decade. So when I say we both like legitimately like spicy food, I mean hella SPICY. At EE Sane, you can order food so spicy it's surprising it doesn't burn through skin! And it still tastes incredible!
I've been here so many times and will continue to come back! 10/10 recommend.
Robert Mentecki
I enjoyed my dinner. The portions were good size and had great flavor. The heat / spice level was perfect for me. The restaurant could have been a little cleaner. My table was sticky in spots..
Felipe Ruiz
My wife and I used to eat there back in 2011 when she was studying at UWM. We came back to visit friends in 2022 and stopped by. Delicious! We always ordered the crispy duck and fried dumplings. Loved it!
TJ Kearney
This is my favorite restaurant and has been for years. I'm surprised I've never written a review about this place. I live in VA now but when I return to Milwaukee I go to EE Sane's before I even go see my family.
First off, the staff is friendly and the customer service is great. They definitely make you feel welcome and remember you. The first time I went I got recommended the Volcano Chicken, it was fire, then we tried some other things suggested before I settled in on my favorite dish. Geng Boombai! A 3 meat curry that is as delicious as it is awesome.
There wings are pretty good with the sauce and they satay ain't nothing to sneeze at either. But for me their spring/egg rolls are fire. Though I prefer them with the plum sauce.
Parking is the only thing I can say is the only thing I don't like about this place and it's not enough for me to even think about most times. I've always wanted to try some of the other places around there too... but you too close to EE-Sane and if I'm nearby, I know where I'm going.
bl myhra
Ordered the Kio Beef and it was exactly what I wanted . But it was the veggie fried rice that I’ll be reordering! Mine had perfect firm tofu, onions, cabbage and pineapple. Very pleasantly surprised how much I liked it.
Stacy K (Wanderingcontessa)
Great Thai restaurant, I would have given it a five, but the service is slow. We've eaten there many times, so we know what to expect.
A very large menu with great appetizers. My favorite is the Volcano chicken. Any of the curries I've had have been quite good also.
Holly Jacobs
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai cuisine. The service is great and the food is fantastic. Try their spring roll with peanut sauce. You can taste how fresh it is! The green curry was amazing. I like spice and got it at a 5 which is a little more than medium on their heat scale and it was perfect. I will be back in the near future for sure!
Chauveen R
Hands down absolute fave thai place. Especially the curry meals, pad thai, and fried rice. Word of caution on spice level: you can choose the spice level for any dish 1 to 10. I love spicy but I only go with either a 2 or 3!
Bryan Stewart
Great experience, really good food. Service was okay. They were busy with take out orders so it took a little bit of time to get seated, but once seated the waitress was very helpful and around enough. My wife got a tofu squash dish. Wasn't enough squash but the taste of it was super. I got the shrimp pad thai. I was very happy with it. We were both a little scared of getting too hot of food so I got 4 and she got 3. Both were mild for our liking, so next time we go up a step or 2.
Matt Bramm
Best Thai food in the city. Spice level 2 if you want a little heat. Spice level 3 if you want to burn your mouth but delicious. Spice level 4+ good luck. I really wish they had sizes other than quarts for evening meals. Pints are only offered for lunch service. The takeout is your best bet versus dine in just because of how busy they tend to be.
David Caban
The food here is absolutely delicious. I've never had a bad meal. Great for vegetarians!!! All dishes are available on a heat scale of 1 to 10 (7 is about as hot as I can get while still enjoying myself). Side note: If you're ill, try a hot pot of Tom Kha and some Volcano Tofu.
X Xiong
Average Thai restaurant. We got the beef pad thai, curry, pho, and papaya salad. I was not a fan of their pad thai. It was overly burnt (the dish was covered in little burnt black particles) and tasted like bbq sauce. The curry and pho was average. I was extremely disappointed that I had gotten the beef, tripe, and tendon pho but never got any tendon - despite asking and clarifying the order several times. However the papaya salad was good. Also, the estimated time for our order was off. It was estimated for 20 minutes but took an hour. We had go wait in their lobby for a while for our food.
Mike McCormack
Hands down still the best place in Milwaukee to go for Thai. The food is amazing, the staff friendly, and the price is right. Laid back atmosphere that's great for dates, groups, or just coming in and having a bite. They've never let me down, and even when living out f the area, an hour bus trip was no problem for some great food.
Khaum Feem Xiong
Hands down.. best Asian restaurant in Milwaukee. Loved the food and service was great. Friendly atmosphere, very welcoming. Hate the street parking but for the food and service it's well worth the hectic parking. Most def. recommend to anyone craving authentic Asian food. best dish would be the Duck curry. I'm not a huge duck fan, never liked it but after having duck curry here, I have a whole new taste bud for duck. :) Overall amazing and def. going back. price is a bit higher than most places, but once you eat the food, it is worth what you paid for.
Myron Robinson
If your looking Thai cuisine look no further. Nice spice and great tasting food. A must the next time your on Farewell and want something a little different.
Kavitha Sagi
Will be back! So so good. Spice is legit, at a 5 I was in heaven, hubby was sweating at 4. Can't wait to try other dishes. Called ahead and had order ready as expected. Portions are large, 2 for 1 so don't sweat the price
tori franer
Quite honestly the best Thai and Asian place i have been to durrong my almost six years in Milwaukee. It is not upscale at all, but undeniably the best food you will find, their spring rolls have me enamored
Chad Fields
Food is always delicious, but some issues like there phones didn’t work, there open time was off by 30 minutes, cash only and they removed the lunch menu. Please bring back lunch menu that includes tum yum soup.
Jennifer Strom
This is the best Thai food restaurant I have ever been to and it is a favorite spot of me and my boyfriend. If you are looking for something quick, this may not be the best choice because it is always very busy on the weekends but the food is INCREDIBLE. Well worth the wait. Pad Thai and Volcano Tofu are my favorite. We enjoy spicy foods so we ordered a level 5 out of 10 for the spiciness level and we were on fire lol. I order a 3 or 4 now... but wow, be cautious...they definitely deliver on the spicy. Yum! I want some now!
Hannah Grycowski
literally the best food i’ve ever eaten, the fried wontons are to absolutely die for, the tom khar soup is so delicious, the yellow chicken curry is simply amazing. extremely affordable and the portions are pretty fricken big too, if i could give more than 5 stars i absolutely would. delicious.
Aswinikumar Annadatha Venkata
Personally i love their food a lot but being a vegetarian and with limited choices, i am constrained to choose limited items off the menu. There was once when we were served meat on a vegetarian soup & when questioned, the waitress was mum.
The best dish that i love is the Veg. Curry fried rice. It is super spicy (do not order above 5) to retain the flavors & taste of this item. I usually eat 9/10 in all other thai restaurants but not here.
Sarah Lambrecht
Great dinner once again. Fresh spring rolls are great. Volcano chicken as good as it gets. Pas thai outstanding. Pad seeiw could use a little more sauce but very good.
I like spicy food and can usually take the heat but here I order 3 or 4 out of 10.
Mark Rasmussen
Glad it's still there. Hadn't been there in a while. Dishes were as phenomenal as I remembered. I've gone out for thai at other pIaces, new places, but in the end, this is the 1 I compare others to. Fresh flavors, prepared wonderfully. Tom ka soup was fresh, the red curried beef was perfect. My lunch partner and I both agreed we would be back in lieu of other Asian places. It's that good.
Jose Escobar
We had appetizers the shrimp and Veggie tempura was fantastic we also had the Seafood Curry and my bro had #41 Stirfry noodles ...100% will recommend to anyone looking for authentic Thai food! The restaurant is elegant and clean and the service was outstanding ! Victoria was awesome with a full house!
Lakshmi N
Excellent food at reasonable prices and you get good quantity. The whole fam loves eating from here including the kids!
My hubby' fav are the coconut milk infused dishes while I can't pick on one particular dish. Everything is sooo good!
I just hope they would open at the exact time mentioned on their door for hungry customers like us ;-) We went for lunch and realized late that they open only at 3pm. Hung around there from 2:45pm waiting for the doors to open and Ee-Sane finally opened only by 3:15pm just as we were about to give up and leave.
Abhi K
Great food. It's a typical asian experience, slower service than most of the american archetypal restaurants, but the food is worth the wait.
Kia Vang
OMG! My families go to for Thai! Best Volcano Duck and Steak you'll ever eat! I'm drooling even talking about it!
dean siewert
Delicious food. Some dishes I haven't seen at other Thai restaurants. Nicely spiced. Very reasonable prices. We go whenever we are in Milwaukee.
Jim Breckenfeld
Most authentic Thai I have ever eaten. Extremely high quality. Slightly pricey. The roast duck curry was incredible and very crispy.
Gabriel Burnett
Still delicious after all these years 😋. I've been eating here from for years and they always deliver on flavor!
Mark Hanna
Red curry level 5 heat was tasty.
Mary Lonergan
Best thai in Milwaukee! The fresh spring rolls and EE Sane wings are must-eat appetizers. Consistently delicious food and an authentic spice range. One of my favorites in town!
Luke Schlough
Nam Sad here is amazing, be careful with how spicy you ask for!
Elizabeth Chiang
Probably the best Thai in Milwaukee. They have an extensive menu with a lot of dishes to choose from. Street parking only. The service can be slow depending on how many people are there (both in terms of customers and servers.)
Mitchell Young
Excellent Thai place. They do the staples (pad thai, curry, pad see-ew) extremely well and the prices are great. Buy me very carefully with space. If you are normally a 7 or 8 on a ten point scale, start with a 4 here. The space is very flavorful, but much hotter than other places around.
Stephanie Peterson
The BEST Thai Lao food you can find in Milwaukee. I spent 4 months in Southeast Asia and EE Sane is the closest thing you can get to Thai/Lao cuisine without actually going there. The Green Curry is always phenomenal and the Larb was amazing. Huge portions and an imported beer menu (you can get Beer Lao!) If you're in the mood for authentic cuisine, look no where else.
B M
My personal favorite Thai restaurant in Milwaukee. Large portions, REALLY spicy food (way it should be) and my favorite curry bar-none. Spring rolls are a good starter, Green Curry or Numtok are great options, or their stir-frys are wonderful. I personally, would shy away from pad-thai or other crowd favorites in favor of more exotic options.
Eric Crouthamel
Ee-Sane has been my favorite Thai restaurant in Milwaukee for years. They make a Numtok which is AMAZING! Their spring rolls are delicious. If you are planning to go around dinner time there can be a wait.
Debby K
One of the few places that I have had calamari properly cooked, so juicy and tender. Everything we have tried has been amazing. Spice scale is for authentic taste, so 2 or less if u can't handle heat, 3 and above will be noticable, anything above 8 will probably make u cry :)
Molly
Parking was kind of hard to find but that is with most of downtown. Our waitress was really nice and tend to us often. The prices are a little pricier than I expected but that is okay because the food was pretty good. The food came out pretty fast.
Scott Overby
Great authentic Thai food.
Cooper
EE-Sane is my favorite/the best Thai Restaurant in Milwaukee. I highly recommend the spicy sausage salad and the chicken pad Thai. The chicken pad thai is what keeps bringing me back to this place!
Robert Beltran
We stopped here virtually every time we go to Milwaukee. The ee-sane noodles and the spring rolls are what keep us coming back. Even though we only visit sporadically the staff always recognizes and welcomes us. A word to the wise, although you can order the hot up to a nine, a or 3 is all we can handle.
Stephanie Zito
The best Thai food in Milwaukee! I love their flavoring! I prefer to get any of their curry dishes and the Thai iced tea. Would recommend to any Thai food lovers out there!
Jon
The food is amazing. It is easily the best thai food I have ever had in my life. That being said the service is lousy. Tonight for instance we waited for approx 5 minutes to be seated, we waited 15 minutes to order, and then 40 minutes to recieve our food. When we left there were 3 or 4 groups of people waiting to be seated. The first group was standing no less than 10 minutes before being seated. I hate to wrote anything negative about this resteraunt, and the servers are kind, genuine and caring, albeit slow and ineffecient at times. This resteraunt deserves a 4/5. As stated before, the food is to die for.
Aditya Karandikar
Excellent spot for Thai food! Authentic dishes without frills that are flavorful and varied. Wanted to come here based on its reviews and was also recommended by an acquaintance to do so and wasn't disappointed.
Heather Hoge
Ee Sane is my favorite Thai food restaurant. I no longer live in Milwaukee but it is a must stop when I visit. The Curry Squash, Ee Sane Noodle, and Pad Siew are my favorites. The peanut sauce they serve with the spring rolls is delicious. Great selection for meat eaters and vegetarians/ vegans! Don't try to be tough and order a 10 when they ask you how hot you want your meal unless you like your food EXTREMELY spicy.
Just Revues
2 1/2 Stars. They do serve good food. Ambience is okay, sometimes odd. Main issue is that staff has attitude. Went there once with my family as I recommended this place to them but we waited for about half an hour or more until the staff took our order. I stopped going after this time.
Evan Knupp
Possibly the most overrated restaurant in Milwaukee. The noodles are okay, but the curry is boring. Service is usually begrudging, and I get the feeling that most people wouldn't keep eating there if the kitchen was visible.
Aldo Escobar
Great food they’ve been there for years and you can tell. Service was great and punctual. Menu is huge so you’ll most likely find what youre looking for. Location and scenery are also great will recommend to anyone trying to get some authentic thai/lao food in the area.
Yeefah Thurman
Service is great. Our waitress was very attentive and knows the menu well. She gave good recommendations. The food is a slightly above average but not fabulous.
Just Nope
The good was so good, I'm glad we ended up here. I had thick rice noodles, which are a favorite of mine and they were perfection.
10/10 would recommend
George Beutel
Really good Thai food! It seems very similar to Chinese to me, but it was very good. The decor is a little outdated, but the food makes up for it. If the decor really puts you off just order take out.
Todd Krupicka
To sum this up, food is really good while service is pretty poor. I really recommend the pad thai. Also, watch out for the spicy factor. If you can't handle spicy food, it is better to order less spicy than too much.
Hannah Granger
Wonderful Thai food. Hole in the wall type place. It's not fancy but their food is amazing. Much better than some of the more popular well known places.
Mad Dog
Awesome restaurant! I was looking for spicy Thai food and that's exactly what I got. Had Tom Yum and Penang curry. Both were flavorful and spicy.
Apollonia Jacobs
This place is insane!!!!! The food is fresh! So much flavor!.....I always recommend this place to my friends and they always end up loving it! U won't be disappointed. I had the pho always good...service was amazing! Thank you!
Paul Bodis
Best Thai food in Milwaukee. The staff has been nicer and nicer in recent years.
This has been our go to for at least 15 years
Billie Hawkins
I’m giving this 5 stars for the food. Never a disappointment.
That said, they have some issues answering their phone for To-go, and sometimes they are just not open when their hours say.
Otherwise, totally worth it!!
Did I mention the food is AMAZING?
Matthew Skelton
This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the city. Very lovely staff and great food. The only downside is that if the restaurant is full it's a little slow. Get the panang curry!
Mike Broskowski
The restaurant did not have heat. My Pad Thai was not as good as I had hoped it would be. My dining partners liked their food.
Ms.Z
The lao style papaya salad was super muddy. Hold back and you can always add more. The tom yum soup was amazing
Michael L
Food is good but menu is impossible to find online. Limited menus only available with nothing that I had when I ate there, I've tried to call to order twice with no answer. I'm assuming they were too busy to answer the phone, which made me order elsewhere. TWICE when I really wanted their food. Super disappointing
Frederic Benishek
Food is always good here. Service is excellent 👌 …
Rae Bu
BEST Singapore Noodles (level 4 or 5) in the City.
Really amazing spicy tofu noodle soup too! <3
Try the Thai tea to round it all off.
James B
Been waiting over 35 minutes so far for a “to go” order we were told would be 15 minutes. Hope it’s as good as people say
Brian Moe
My favorite Thai place in Milwaukee. The fried spring rolls are amazing.
Kevyn Schwab
The best Thai food I've had in town thus far. Both the EE-Sane noodles and Massumun Curry are my go-to dishes
Mike Kotecki (BrewcityMike)
First dined here in 1999 and haven't stopped yet. Amazing food and always polite staff. dread the day the close. (Knock on wood)
Carmen Ventura
This is my favorite Thai in the city. At least there twice a week. Food and service is amazing. Go. You will not be disappointed.
Perry Spott
Amazing flavor and a great spice index (I got a 6 which was decently hot yet still easily edible for someone who likes it spicey).
Alexis McClain
In love with their EE-sane noodles, and always crave them when they're closed. 😩 …
karina mendoza
This places has hands down the best Thai food in Milwaukee!!! Loooove their duck and their pad thai is amazing.
Brooklynn Swoboda
We love ee-sane! Food is so good, spice is no joke but soo yummy, and the staff are very nice!
Liz Escobar
Our fave Thai on the east side! And Good portions for the money.
Sam Stone
Great food, friendly service, and many vegetarian options; as others have been saying, be careful about the spice level!
Sean Kelly
Pad Thai was great. The spring roles were good, but could have been a little. The ambiance is gritty. This is a great little treasure
Diablo Williams
Really nice service and food was great had the volcano chicken.
Barbara Collins
My absolute favorite Thai place. Authentically prepared food, moderate prices, very generous portions.
Sirry Insy
Really good authentic Thai-Lao food for great price! Best in Milwaukee.
Jeff Kane
Great place for lunch. They serve the hottest Thai if you want it. Fast service.
YaaJoy Engel
You have to try the EE Sane noodles! Thai tea! Duck Curry! You have to try it all! So good! Definitely a gem of Milwaukee.
Dan Maslowski
Spring rolls and peanut sauce are the best.
Thom Kar is a bargain. We eat here weekly.
Matt Zamaites
The BEST thai place in Milwaukee, I've been coming here for 7 years probably.
Gerald Harmon
I love EE-Sane! The customer service is always amazing and the food is delicious. Will continue to visit this location.
Jake Wild
Best Thai food in mke hands down, a hidden gem
Praveen Lobo
Service lacks but food is awesome. Stick to 3 or less on the spice scale is you are not sure. Fried rice, volcano chicken, red/green curry ...
Karen Lesuisse
Great place. Portions are 1 entree for 2 people. Loved the crab rangoon!
Peter Kilburn
Fantastic food and great service food is tamer at lunch, so if you order a 5 at lunch....order a 2 or 3 at dinner.
MaiLia
Friendly staff, good service, awesome food! The papaya salad was one of the best I've ever had.
Hugh Morris
First time here, tried the red curry, definitely coming back to try more dishes.
Nghia Le
The food is amazing. My new favorite thai spot. Service was excellent too
Dave Snodgrass
Food: great. Service: atrocious. Credit card rules: arcane and archaic.
John Binder
I love this place. It’s no joke. I highly recommend it. I’ll keep eating here for sure.
Rebecca Kiefer
Fabulous authentic Thai and Laotian food. Great lunch specials as well!
Mark Jonas
Best Thai in the city.

Best miso ever! Best cellophane wrapped spring rolls with peanut sauce. Excellent.

First wanted to say, we've been coming here for 10+ years since going to college. We do not live near this side of town and specifically travel for their food. The food is unbeatable and flavorful.
Saturday. We (party of 2) placed our order at 240pm. Yum talay seafood salad, curry fried rice, duck curry and a coke. Not once did the server come back, talk to us, update us or see how we were doing during our wait. We finally got our salad at 356pm. I believe the cook came and apologized and said they were very busy. We received the rest of the food at 410pm. We left by 435pm. It's not a food issue forsure, just be prepared for a long wait time. I'll definitely opt to order take out next time vs a sit down meal.

This place has been a favorite for well over a decade and never disappoints. I have tried most dishes and appetizers on the menu and enjoy all, some hard to not pick over and over. Must mention to all my friends, it gets spicy fast. Whatever your initial guess you think to pick, subtract 3 from it.
