Reviews of Downtown Kitchen

Offers a wide variety of meal options, many made to order. Very close to many points of interest in downtown Milwaukee. Great food!

Located inside US Bank building, good place for a quick lunch. Couple of different eating selections that change up their menu daily. Can become repetitive if you go their often. Great salad selections

Very nice clean calm eating environment. I have tried and recommend the burritos as they are made fresh in front of you and taste absolutely excellent. The serving size is also very generous.

Downtown Kitchen has a number of things going for it: hip design, great food selection to suit a variety of appetites, convenient location for US Bank and 833 E Michigan employees/visitors. I chose the soup and salad bar and it was good... although the chicken soup was a little bland. The thing is...I found the prices to be on the high side, and I live/work in Chicago so that's saying something. I don't mind paying more for better quality ingredients and the like, yet I can't say that that equation applies in the case of Downtown Kitchen. My guess is that the higher prices are more to do with a captive audience...there are few (to no) alternatives nearby, And given the colder temps lately, it's unlikely one would venture outside to save a couple bucks. Overall, not bad, and I'll probably return, just a bit surprised by the prices.

Excellent food options, quick and friendly service. Take out style with self seating, there are no waiters. The food is always good and the place is kept clean. Reasonably priced. A quick lunch experience for those on a limited lunch break.

Working downtown it's great to have a Bartolotta right in the building. Prices are slightly higher (to be expected), but the food quality overall is much better than prior options. Also, the outpost grab and go are great for quick lunch.
