This was our first time trying out this place. My grandma wanted to go to a restaurant with a table cloth. Well this place delivered. The staff was super attentive and knew exactly what they were doing. Great suggestions. The food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The cocktails were on point . We never get desert but when they brought the alicart, we had to try out a few. This place is a must of you like real Italian food.

So glad we finally went to Villaggio! The scratch made food is absolutely amazing, the service was fantastic and the restaurant is cozy. Difficult to review. The appetizer Calamari was very bad. Bland, poorly seasoned, poor breading. The salad that comes with the entrees is hilarious. I laughed out loud at how small it is. Why do they even serve it? Dont bother. However - the entrees were better. The salmon/scallop special was very good. The chicken special w mashed was also good. The chicken parm was passable. Overall: Its not terrible - but its too expensive and is not overly impressive. I would not recommend Villagio- but I also would not make fun of you if you like it.

7/15/2022: Villaggio is still an awesome resturant to take anyone you want to share an authentic Italian meal with. Had the Lobster Ravioli today and it was outstanding. Took my wife out for an early valantines day dinner and tried Villaggio Ristorante which knocked it out of the park! Outstanding food and service! Highly recommend this place on your next outing to eat Italian food

This place is a beautiful quaint little Romantic date night spot we frequent at least once every two months since we discovered it two years ago. All of the servers we’ve had have been knowledgeable, the place is always immaculately clean, even the bathrooms, which is sadly uncommon! And the homemade pasta, lobster raviolis and Marsala are perfection. Idk how it too so long to write a review but this is well deserved for consistency, cleanliness, and hospitality. My only sadness is that Joanna moved on to another spot because she was our favorite!

Excellent wait staff. Food was superb as always. Reservations are recommended. Tip accordingly these people work hard to bring the great food to your table. If you walk away hungry it's your own fault.

Fantastic dinner with family. Service was perfect..our waiter Josef was attentive, personable and knowledgeable regarding different dishes and ingredients...the food was delicious...steak marsala...lemon chicken...homemade pasta..and we indulged and ordered the Italian appetizer for 4...great choice...food served hot and quickly... atmosphere clean crisp table clothes and I loved the soft Italian music in the background...our first time visit..will not be our last..definitely will return...we moved to NH from NY..hard to find great Italian food..felt like I was back in NY...

This place is sooo good. The atmosphere is awesome for a date night. I had the chicken limone. So good. Servers are very attentive. Not a chain, so a family feel, but don’t think it’s small time. The food flavor is so good. Highly recommended!!!

The best Italian dinner I have ever enjoyed. The parking is in short supply. I am not sure if they have an overflow that I was not aware of. We will definitely return.

We ordered the food to go over the phone. Said it would be ready in 30 minutes. We get there when the food is supposed to be ready but we wait another hour on top of that. They were booked and really struggling to keep up. Couldn't be mad because they were all trying really hard. You're voted number one italian restaurant for 2 years in a row, may need to hire more people to meet the demand. But went home and had the chicken alfredo. Best chicken alfredo I have ever had. Made me forget I waited for over an hour for it.

Ever since I began flying out here to Manchester, Villagios has become our ever so special night out. Whenever we call for reservations, I seem to always have a special request and they knock it out of the park each and every time! Their food, service, atmosphere (tho a bit crowded) is extraordinaire..truly our fav restaurant here in the Manchester and surrounding areas. We love you guys!

The stuffed pork tenderloin was amazing. Watress was fantastic. We made reservations this past Saturday at 5:15. They set us at a table right near hostess and very open to foot traffic. The server and house staff bumped my arm and back multiple times. This table should not have even been there. We have been here at least 8 times and this is first time experiencing.

Food was fair and ther service was terrible. Our waitress seemed to give alot of attention to people she knew. Any smile or friendliness she gave to our table seemed fake. We were very kind to her,but apparently she did not care. I might also add that $18.50 fir a top shelf Margarita was totally out of line. I have never paid that much in my life even at a lot classier restaurants.

My partner and I ate dinner here last minute. We were seated downstairs which has an interesting but slightly outdated decor. What this restaurant lacks in decor, it makes up for with quality of food. Our plates were fantastic - I had the penne with sauted peppers and chicken in a cheese-wine sauce. It was fantastic. We enjoyed the complimentary bread and oil. All portions were substantial. I highly recommend the Mozeralla Fritters. The waitress was very thorough and knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list was great, too. I highly recommend this restaurant. It seems to be a poluar place for locals as the dining room was packed at 9pm on a Saturday night.

I had been to Villaggio once before, about six weeks prior to this time. My server, Niki, remembered where I had sat, what I had ordered and how I preferred it cooked. Amazing! She and Maria were serving this time and Niki also was bartending and shared hosting with Maria. Somehow just the two of them were able to keep the full house running smoothly, professionally and graciously. I was the only solo diner in the dining area and all the other tables were what appeared to be families and younger and older couples. The environment reminds me of the old-style, comfortable neighborhood Italian restaurants that I frequented decades ago in Philadelphia, New York and Boston. Every table was occupied, but the noise level would easily allow a conversation. Nice place! The food: I had "Frutti di Mare" over linguine that included lobster, mussels, clams and scallops in a delicious broth/sauce. I had read about the coconut martini and Niki made one for me with a touch of dark chocolate. Dangerous!

Took a friend out for her birthday. Server was friendly and attentive. Our food was served quickly. I loved the fried calamari appetizer and my lasagna was excellent. Portion was large enough for my dinner and to take home for leftovers. Great place for a group meal or a date.

We went here for our 40th Anniversary dinner and it did NOT DISAPPOINT! The dinners we had were delicious and our server was wonderful. Best Italian in the city, but make reservations and go there. They cannot handle takeout. We've ordered take out many times and it's never ready. They apparently make it when you arrive. Today we ordered online at 4:50. After a hassle I got the order at 6:25.

We finally made it to Villaggio Ristorante! I don’t know why we waited so long to try it, because everything was great! We both had delicious meals! The cocktails were also really good. The restaurant has a nice, cozy atmosphere and people seemed to know one another, indicating they’re likely regulars. We’ll definitely be returning to Villaggio!

My wife and I ate here for the first time and we absolutely loved it. I had the Italian rib eye which was cooked to perfection with amazing flavors and my wife had the carbonara which she absolutely loved. I would rate this place a 10 out of 10 with 2 thumbs up. I highly recommend this place for authentic Italian. The service was amazing, the food was amazing and they also have very reasonable prices. We will definitely be coming back very soon!!

I ordered angel hair pasta and meatballs tonight and it did not disappoint! I know good food and this entree was excellent. Rarely can you find a tasty, tender and moist meatball when dining out but these were top of the food chain amazing. The sauce was also extraordinary, not too acidic or sweet with just the right amount of pepper at the finish. I would highly recommend Villagio’s , it’s obviously authentic and worth the price. Also the homemade bread is first rate.

We visited the restaurant on Sat. 11/13. We had Nikki as a server. We had the most amazing experience that we have had in a very long time! Nikki was spot on. Her service was amazing. Her food recommendations and drink and desserts were spot on. We loved her level of attentiveness. Her personality and joining in on our fun night was what made our night! She “read” our table and knew exactly how to be the most amazing server! We laughed, we celebrated a birthday and we enjoyed each other’s company that she fit right into it!

First time patron. Mindblown! How have I never been here? Our reservation was canceled in a computer glitch. We were accommodated quickly anyway. We were beyond lucky to have Niki as a server. Great recommendations on drinks and food. The food was absolutely amazing! Every dish was on point. But Niki was the star of the evening. We dine out often. I give internal grades all the time. An A+ is extremely rare. An A+ and a google revue is rarer than an honest politician. But here we are. Ultimate Kudos to Villaggio and Niki. A+. Well earned.

First time visiting. Wife and myself went there for our anniversary dinner and it was fantastic!! Started off with warm fresh bread. We got our fried mozzarella balls and they were fabulous. Lightly breaded and not too heavy. Marinara sauce was probably the best I’ve ever had. Then came our fresh salad. All of this before our main course. I ordered a special which was haddock and shrimp in a garlic cream sauce with angel hair pasta. My wife ordered eggplant Parmesan. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was extremely friendly. They made our night better when they gave us a cannoli on the house for our anniversary. Very nice touch to end the night. Would highly recommend. Edit: the place has become very very slow. Over 90 minutes to get dinner. I've been there a number of times and the food and service are always very good. One of the top Italian restaurants in NH in quality, in my experience. (And I base my evaluation on decades of eating Italian in the North End and on Federal Hill)

This was our first time to this restaurant and I am sure it won't be our last. This was our 41st wedding anniversary and we wanted a nice Italian meal for this occasion. We are also new to the area and our son told us he has heard nothing but good things about Villaggio’s, so we decided to give it a try. We were very happy we did. A variety of foods on the menu and well planned specials. Service friendly and prices appropriate, the food was great and there was plenty of it on my plate, the food is totally authentic. We went on a Monday evening, so it was busy but manageable. I was told that later in the week it gets very busy and reservations are highly recommended, tables fill very quickly. No reservations? You might get lucky, especially if you dine very early.

Let's start off by saying Josuf was our server and he was amazing! He interacted with our 7 year old and made him smile even when our son was super tired he made sure he checked on us and was just amazing all around! Let's move on to the entrées... I can't even describe how delicious the food was, I got the Risotto Villaggio and it was probably one if not the best seafood dish I have ever had. The seafood tasted sooo fresh and the sauce the rissotto was on was out of this world good! The restaurant was clean and the setting was perfect. I can't wait to go back!! It was out first time there but definitely not our last! If you haven't been here you have to!!!

A really great place. Food was amazing, not exactly a pure Italian restaurant, definitely more Americanized than some but I don't necessarily mean that as a negative. Lots if not all of the pasta is homemade. Reservations are recommended. I've been there around 5:30 on a weekday and it wasn't too busy at all but an hour later when we left they were quite busy. I've also been told it's a really good idea to make a reservation if you are going on a weekend or holiday like Valentines day. The only complaint I have is the TV's in the bar area take away from the experience.

First time but not our last. Thanks to all the great reviews we selected to come here to celebrate our Friday the 13th wedding anniversary. Perfect choice. Food and service were exceptional. Husband got a generous portion of lasagna and my lobster ravioli served with half a lobster tail had a sauce that took all my strength to resist lapping the plate. Ashley made great recommendations and we will definitely be back.

Atmosphere was wonderful. We set a reservation and they took us in right away on schedule. The only minor complaint is the two seater table we were at next to the entrance was a bit noisy when the door slammed closed. Otherwise food was good and service was too notch! Will go back again.

Our first visit to the Villaggio. Although reservations are encouraged, we were early enough in the evening that we were seated immediately. Staff were extremely attentive and each of our entrees was obviously prepared to order. Both the daily specials and menu items were delicious! Pasta was perfectly done. They have an excellent wine list. We were too full to try dessert. Maybe next time.

My parents have been going here for years and they would always say how great the food and the owners are, along with the great staff. We finally all met here as a family a couple years back and understood what they were talking about. We have had great food and service there each time we’ve meet there. We are so excited you are reopening after COVID 19 and are looking forward to getting take out with my parents as my fathers gift for Fathers Day. My parents have been troopers through the quarantine and I think what they’ve missed the most is the dinners at Villagio’s.

It is an amazing dining experience. The location may throw you off a bit, but this is a diamond in the rough. Love the place, has a relaxed atmosphere and great food. The wait staff are very courteous and friendly. It is recommended to make reservations, otherwise prepare to wait since it's always full. About 40$ per person with a drink, entree and dessert, which is not bad. Great for date night or a special occasion. They also have a bar which is first come first serve.

I had the Scallop App,and it was very good, spinach was outstanding. Veal Chop special was awesome, it came with two lobster ravioli that were out of this world. This place is really small and so is the bar, that is the only knock on it. Bartender Brien was excellent and made me a mean Martini, but no Blue Cheese Olives, that needs to be rectified 😉

The staff is very pleasant , the food is very good , the setting is quaint, clean and has bit of a romantic mood . The only thing I was not happy with was my martini....I carefully specified shaken with blue cheese stuffed olives and the shaken Ice on the side ....I got 3/4 of a glass of almost water and pimento olives and no ice . I don't mind paying 10 to 15 dollars for a martini but I want it just the way I like it , and that goes for anyplace I go not just singling out this place . With that being said I will enjoy going back most anytime .

Friendly staff, authentic italian flood and the restaurant is conveniently located. You should make a reservation before you go, because they are very busy. Parking can be a challenge since there are a bunch of other businesses in the same square.

Villagio's is great! I don't know when but they enlarged their dinning room and put in new rest rooms. The food is delicious, the menu is varied, true Italian cuisine. I'm no vinophile but the wine list looked good to me. We had the Santa Margarita pinot grigio and it was great! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We always start with bruschetta. I highly recommend Villagio Ristorante and can't wait to go back!

Only reason I gave 4 stars is some of the tables are so close together you feel like your sitting with someone else which isn't bad unless you are trying to have a romantic dinner. I told Julianne that the Shrimp and Linguine was the best I have had, and I meant it. My wife's veal parmesan was first rate (her words). Food served piping hot, portions plentiful. This is a very quaint Italian restaurant, but boy is it worth it! Reservations are a must, especially on a weekend. They only have about 20 tables or so, but the ambiance and service is extraordinary. The portion sizes are amazing for the price and I highly suggest upgrading to their homemade pasta. It's a dollar more, but worth EVERY penny. Villaggio does participate in Uber Eats (which is a fantastic option for the busy types), but I know my boyfriend and I will be dining-in again soon! I'd give 10 stars if I could.

What a hidden gem! We started with fresh made mozzarella balls and homemade tomato sauce for an appetizer. It was amazing. For dinner we ordered gnocchi and veal parmesan. The sauce was out of this world and the gnocchi were like little pillows of deliciousness! For dessert we had tiramisu and it was hands down the best tiramisu I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back here. A 5 star rating isn't even enough to cover my culinary experience this evening. Plus our waitress was just amazing.

Easy to miss located in a humdrum strip mall, but don't let the location fool you. The food is excellent. We had the Pasta Carbonara and Lasagna. Both were terrific. One small knock, avoid the Caprese salad when good tomatoes are unavailable. I would suggest they not even offer it as a menu item if the tomatoes are not good enough.

Authentic Italian food made to perfection, I grew up with an Italian Grandmother, (Nana). Don't tell Nana but Villaggio does a few dishes a little better her. There are only about 16 tables so make reservations, they have a full bar. The atmosphere is just right, not to light or over the top. Stop reading and make a reservation.

Very pricey nothing special. Average Italian restaurant but given they are hard to come by in NH this place end up getting rave reviews. Don’t get me wrong the food is okay but like I said nothing special. The red sauce was okay nothing I couldn’t prepare at home in about 20 minutes and eat a few hours later. The chicken parm was way too thick, like about an inch. It should be cutlets pounded out to about a quarter inch but twice as large not what I got which looked like a bread full chicken breast with cheese on it. Oh and about the cheese, on both our meals (chicken and eggplant parms, both over $20 with tax) the mozzarella was also to thick and not fully melted. I also don’t think it was the correct type of mozzarella, it should be low-moisture, I’m pretty sure this was fresh which is more for eating plain or in a salad not for melting. Look I’m very picky about my Italian food but for normal people Villaggio will be above average, for a real Boston Italian probably not so much…

Villagio really exceeded my expectations. It's an end unit of a small strip plaza along with a convenience store, a sub shop, etc. It's the kind of place easily overlooked or disregarded, but step inside and it's a different world. The atmosphere is nice and upscale without being stuffy. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, and willing to make any changes or accommodations if needed. We ordered the fried mozzarella appetizer which was excellent. For an entree I had chicken stuffed with fontina cheese, prosciutto, and spinach in a garlic cream sauce, and limoncello tiramisu for dessert. My wife had Chilean sea bass with shrimp and angel hair pasta, and creme brulee for dessert. All of it truly delicious! We'll definitely be going back.

Got chicken cacciatore, expected nice big pieces of veggies not the case and u would think pasta is expensive because amount was not proportionate to amount of chicken cacciatore. Altho cacciatore flavor was very good. Salad was chinzy, bread was good. Ordered fried calamari turns out I don't like that but I think if u like calamari it was probably good. Friendly waitstaff, delicious food. They'll inform you they make it when you order it and are completely open to substitutions. I ordered a lobster ravioli dish and couldn't decide between the sun dried tomato sauce it comes with or alternating for carbonara. I told the waitress my dilemma and they made both sauces, giving me generously sized boats of each and bringing my food sans sauce so I could experiment (I enjoyed the kick of the tomato sauce, but at the end of the day I love a cheese sauce and the carbonara won out). The room's a bit small, and it can be cold in there sometimes so ladies, bring a sweater. It's priced for what it is, fine dining. The menu is online but be sure to hear their specials, the lobstercake appetizer that was on special recently was delectable. To help you choose desserts, they carry out a frozen display tray so you can see and drool over all the options up close. Over all, a great spot, perfect for special occasions.

They make some pasta from scratch. I like to look at what's too offer on the menu and special order what I'm in the mood for but most places won't do that, but they did without even blinking an eye. I was in the mood for grilled chicken and grilled scallops along with carbonara so I put it over the fresh from scratch made fettuccine. Omg. Perfectly cooked and what a great combination. Soooo good. My wife's Marsala was perfect. She loved it with fresh vegetables. So good. Also. If they have any ravioli for an appetizer, I recommend, we had the sweet pea ravioli. Who thinks of these things. What a great combination. I could have made that my entry. Drinks were incredible and don't forget desert ( even if you decide you do not want desert, you have to at least let them show you, they bring all the deserts out on one tray and explain them too you. We couldn't resist and had to get two) overall. I can't wait to go back for sure. My suggestion, make a reservation. Enjoy😆
