We ordered "The Boss Favorite", cracker thin crust, your choice of three toppings. Excellent, we will return before we leave town..We went back for 14" The Mighty Meaty Wick" added some jalapeño peppers and the rest is history. Superb pizza..

The staff at this location is wonderful. I have been going to Wick's since I moved to Louisville. My go to place for Pizza. Their Spinach Alfredo, Grilled Fajita Chicken, Wick's Bacon Chicken Ranch and Mexican pizzas are amazing. The chicken on the pizzas is super well seasoned, juicy and tender. Thick, but perfectly cooked crust. Cheese bread is a great app!

We were sat immediately and greeted by the most charismatic waitress I have ever met in my life! Found out later her name was Cara (I hope I didn’t spell that wrong) I wish everywhere we went had people like her! She literally made our night. We drove 3+ hours just to get pizza at wick’s. No lie. She was such a pleasant bonus. This place has the best pizza I have ever eaten, but Cara made it an extra awesome experience this time. Highly recommend! And if you can request a waitress look for Cara! She will make your night. 💕

It was nice experience. I was there with friends for Pizza Week. We had the Cheeseburger pizza. It wasn't too bad. I enjoyed it. It would taste better with lettuce, tomato, and bacon to make to more delicious. BUT since it is pizza week, it is more reasonable for the price. I will like to come back and try few mores.

My family and I were visiting Louisville this weekend and had dinner at Wick’s Pizza. Finding restaurants that are kid friendly can be challenging. Our kids are ages 1,2,4,8, and 12 and we had the BEST EXPERIENCE. Our server was simply amazing and so accommodating. Every single worker was super cool with our kids. Our kids left feeling like they gained a friend in Louisville and talked about her the rest of the weekend. Cara thank you for being the best! Oh, and the pizza and wings were freaking killer!

We came from Frankfort mostly because they offer classic steak sandwich/hoagie. Food was top quality and everything was delicious. I'm picky about pizza sauce and crust. Getting quality and quantity for our money is important. Everything about our experience was excellent. Cara took fabulous care of us we'll will be going again and hoping she'll be there.

It's hard to judge because there's a lot of good pizza places in town. If you go by atmosphere, service, and quality it's a great lunch. The server was excellent and the food was very good. I enjoyed it, but maybe not the best in town. That being said you will be glad you stopped in.

Table for 5 people was small, no assistance from waitress. We had to figure it out. Very loud. Bathrooms were decent sized but only 1 female 1 male options. Lighting was good for a pizza/pub place

Wings were bad... They said baked not fried... But the skin was soggy, wings weren't tossed in the sauce... Just poured over the top. The pizza was good, but a lot of cheese... Like too much, probably a personal preference thing. Pizza crust was the best part. A 16 inch was a good size for two adults with a slice or two to take home. Service was a bit slow. A lot of tvs for sport. Not sure i would recommend it but if you're in the area, may as well.

Wow! What a cool place. The staff were extremely friendly! Made you feel like you were a regular.. Plenty of on tap, and bottled brew; many are local. True Louisville spirit, painted on every wall. The pizza was phenomenal as well. I sure cant wait to go back!!!

Wick's has, pretty consistently, always had decent pizza. The new pizza menu items are really good. I'm disappointed at their appetizers, but that isn't the reason we go there. The bartenders must have had a bad day, because they put regular coke in a Captain Morgan's and ginger ale--three times! That was really disappointing. Our server was a sweetheart and really helpful. Thankfully they weren't super busy.

First and foremost I have too say finding a pizza in which the cheese is melted perfectly is very hard too do especially now a days and growing up in the East hometown Newark NJ pizza is what surrounded me. I picked up a 18in pizza and wanted a nice triangle sliced traditional pizza didnt think wicks had it but they do. No disrespect to those square sliced lovers but to me a real pizza has to be in the traditional triangle shape. The cheese melted and was stringy upon moving apart this melted my heart and reminded me of the good Ole days growing up before the squares, and Trans fat nutrients changed America lol. I give it 5 stars and recommend to all and shall eat here more often with my friends and family the sauce did not give me a sudden attack of heart burn it was solely perfect with every munch tasted very very light and good. Please try it out. Ps thanks to one of wicks employees for guiding me to my new found triangle sliced pie 😌☺

Wick's Pizza is one of the best pizzas I have ever had in the United States. I love how thick and full it is. The ingredients are all amazing and fresh and the crust is no too thin or too thick. However, one thing I don't like is that the sauce takes over the taste if the rest of the ingredients. It's also extremely expensive but the waiters are nice and friendly.

I travel through Louisville fairly frequently, and I've made it a ritual to stop at Wick's. It's a little out of the way, but it's totally worth it. Pizza is my favorite food, so I eat an unhealthy amount of pizza. Wick's is some of the best I've had. I honestly think the crust is the best of any pizza place. I would also recommend the cinnamon sticks. Honestly, though, everything is good. They also have a pretty decent whiskey selection. If you're ever in the area, give this place a shot!

We were blessed to have met & been served by Kara (SP). Such a positive spirit. She had nothing but praise for ownership. Mike, you make a difference & change lives! Keep up the "good works". Another one of our favorite pizza places to eat!! The service is always great, the atmosphere is on point! This was our second time eating here. Parking is tough to find! This time we got the Italian salad and it was perfect! The Italian dressing was amazing! We got the wicks pizza, needless to say, it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had! We will definitely come back! Prices are a little high but worth it.

We ordered 2 pizzas, a veggie and the double pepporini. The crust was thick yet firm, the cheese had a golden hue to it and the veggies were chopped well and cooked perfectly. This was a surprisingly good pizza, I'd rate it as top notch. if you're in the area, stop by for an amazing pizza.

Great family friendly restaurant with AMAZING pizza! After moving away several years ago, my father-in-law came back to visit and this was the first place he wanted to go. Not only was the food really good, but so was the service! The BOMB! Didn't have to wait for seating. Server was super cool and helpful about local faves. We tried cheese bread at her recommendation and the Bourbon Sriracha pizza. It was all so great. The pizza had the perfect crunch at the crust and flavorful all throughout.

I had to go to Louisville for a funeral and decided to get a big box of deliciousness to take home with me and let some of the people I know up here try it. All I have to say is, too bad there isn't a Wick's Pizza in West Lafayette. They would make a killing up here

Do not over order here! We do everytime. You get ur money worth and excellent food. Also PEOPLE TIP UR WAITRESSES! I witnessed a table who said their bill was 70 bucks they left that girl 3.00 which is completely ridiculous. I have NEVER had bad service here there's no reason for being cheep when tipping

We were in Louisville for a short stay while we took in some craft distilleries. My wife said she was hungry for some pizza, so I opened up Trip Advisor. Wick's was one of the first stores that caught my eye. We ordered, picked up, and were quickly full. Awesome pie, awesome ingredients, and great taste. Definitely recommend and will have again when we return.

I used to go there all the time in my younger days and it was like a second home. Haven't been back in a while, but it still has that same familiarity of a homey dive bar (although it's plenty big). The pizza, as always, was phenomenal, and the service was terrific. The bartender/server was really friendly and brought everything out quickly. While I can no longer speak for the night life, especially during a pandemic, I can highly recommend the food

Pizza was good that's expected, but it was the chicken Alfredo with mushrooms and fresh broccoli pieces it was delicious, got it delivered Doordarsh and the Alfredo was still pippin hot beyond delivery, everyone knows wicks pizza is delicious but I think folk might be sleeping on that Alfredo, next time imma try the meatballs or baked spaghetti. Only complaint is a button to recieve extra dressing for ceaser salad

Just 4 buddies from Texas passing through on our way home. We could not of hit a better home run than choosing Wick's. Our bartender/server/food runner, probably cook too couldn't be more outstanding. Too bad I don't recall her name. She was there by herself Monday March 1st for late lunch. Anyway, she showed us great hospitality and helped us had a great time. The food was also excellent. I think we started with the tortilla pizza, the pretzel, and stuffed pizza bread. All were amazing, but I think the tortilla won. For meals one had the alfredo pizza plain and he loved it. The other 3 of us shared an 18" meat lovers and wow.. y'all can sure make a pie!! Our next trip through, Wick's is definitely a scheduled stop. Thanks!

I went a few days without eating, during chemotherapy, because everything just sounded terrible? A nurse on 7 West told me about WIX pizza and I agreed to try it. Best decision I could have made! The cheese alone looked like it came out of a commercial, and with that sauce.. it is untouchable compared to all of the places I tried during the 14 months in Louisville. If you ever had a favorite pizza place that went out if business, then I highly recommend Wix!

This pizza was delicious. Our waitress was efficient and courteous. The decor was cozy without being too dimly lit. It is one of the top four in Louisville. I would definitely recommend everyone go here and more than once. The seating areas are well arranged and the restaurant is spacious and well kept.

Came here to watch my sister's band perform. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was great. The pizza was absolutely amazing. Even with a lot of toppings each slice still held its form and didn't fall apart when eating. The ingredients seemed fresh and the portions were large. You'll definitely have a take home box at the end of the night. I will be coming back here and look forward to what other musical performers they will have in the future.

Was driving through from Indy around dinner time and hadn't had pizza in a while so I googled pizza places in Louisville and this was the first place that popped up and I can see why. For someone that doesn't eat pizza that often anymore, this place did not disappoint. VERY GOOD! Only downfall was the short staff (I think someone had walked out that day) so I had to wait a little longer than I had wished since I still had a 3 1/2 hour drive home. But other than that, no complaints at all. Staff was very nice, loved the atmosphere and most importantly, the pizza was awesome. I will definitely be back.

Food was very good, but service was very, very slow. Our server didn't return to us after checking on us once after getting our food, so we had to get up from our table and find her to cash out. It wasn't a very clean restaurant either, but I would visit again and give it another try.

The Bosses favorite was a good deal. 15 dollars gets you a decent sized pizza with thin crust and light sauce. Crust not burnt and sauce not too overpowering. If I'm ever in town again I'd go back and get this.

I have been coming to Wick's Pizza for 20+ years and I can tell you the pizza is still the best in the city in my opinion. The atmosphere is great and the staff has always been on point. Yeah it gets busy and sometimes things take a little longer than normal but it's wort the wait. Keep up the great work.

Wick's pizza has very good pizza. But I do not recommend the stromboli. Very little meat or anything else except onions. I understand your help situation and I except your apology on the stromboli. With that said I have been to Wick's puzza before and never had a bad pizza so I changed my mind I will gladly give you another chance for a better stromboli. I highly recommend Wick's Puzza.

I love Wicks! I haven't been there in a long time but had a craving so I took myself and my daughter. I ordered a big wick period when the waitress brought it out the edges were black and the cheese was Brown. So one had clearly left it in way too long. I voice my concerns to the waitress who offered to get an extra free pizza or comp my ticket half off. I definitely asked her make us another one. But gave the other Pizza back because it was disgusting. She was very helpful and they were rude and our second pizza was amazing. That being said it should have never left the kitchen and the waitress should have never put that on the table the way that it looked. When I got my ticket they taking off the entire cost of the pizza which I appreciated. Will I go there again? Absolutely again Wick's Pizza is fire ! A little advice only pick a few toppings.

Great food, prices and service. That's the quick review but this location is so much more. Great for families, a group of after work buddies or just some place for you to wined down after a long day. In/outdoor setting, booth, table or bar setting inside one of the different sections. Very Veteran friendly! I love to stop in a get my pizza from this location but I am going to try some of the other locations to see how they are. If you like good pizza, service and a fun place to enjoy it all this is the place.

Advertise pasta buy one get one free then have hidden guidelines. My friend had the exact same order as I did on a Monday 2 lasagna 2 pizzas I paid 60 dollars plus tax my friend paid 30 dollars even . Smh I will never eat here again. Manager kept saying they couldn't find my order if it was walking I told her I ordered partial online /by phone which my friend ordered completely online yet our totals was tremendously different

The food is always consistent and delicious. They order all their vegetables and herbs fresh and get them delivered each morning. The workers are friendly. And if your regular they get to know you by name and what you order and seem to be right on top of things. The bathroom is fascist there's a huge double bar area and an outdoor seating area which is very nice and large. It's great for people watching and drinking a nice beer. And if I'm still correct they have specials each day of the week and Friday is a special day as well. Sometimes there's live music and you'll find a great neighborhood vibe in this place.

Wonderful Wick’s!!! I went here the first time last Sunday and I was very surprised at how tasty the pizza was. I don’t actually have ANY pictures to post like normal cause I was too busy eating and enjoying my time there. Our server Shaquita was very nice. We have 3 kids 3-8 yrs so obviously we are a bit messy but we try. She was completely unfazed when our brood arrived and started chattering. She was very attentive and made our kids feel comfortable. We will be going back here for the Mexican pizza that blew me away. It was a perfect mix of pizza/ Tex-mex. Parking is normal for Louisville but totally worth the pizza waiting inside.

Here's a recent experience....So I ordered delivery, fell asleep, woke 2 hrs. later, asked them to deliver the same pizza (I don't mind, it'll microwave fine), but they delivered a fresh pizza within 40 minutes. I love this place and it's service.

Super nice staff, cool atmosphere. The pizza had WAY TOO MUCH SAUCE. It was swimming in sauce. After my first bite, I took the slice apart and scraped about 90% of the sauce off to make it edible to me. I will be back, but absolutlely going to order extra light on sauce next time.

Updated 2/9/17: I spoke to management on 2/8/17 and was informed that the price I was given was inaccurate. My review was based completely on the fact that $15.50 would be unacceptable for a 10" cheese pizza. Perhaps the girl mistakenly included a delivery fee? I don't know. Bottom line: the pizza is good, but it's pricey (thankfully not $15.50 for a 10" cheese, though). Just got off the phone with the order taker at the State Street location. Apparently it's now $15.50 for a 10 inch cheese pizza. It was already overpriced, but now I have no intentions of ordering another pizza at Wick's. It's good pizza, but it's not that good. The owner(s) need to give Marcus Lemonis a call because they need help.

Food and service was great at lunch time. I had the pepperoni & bacon calzone & the rest of us had pizzas. We did have a situation when a man walked into the restaurant and started asking diners for money...Not exactly completely controllable, I know, but did not see anyone working for restaurant do anything about it, until he left on his own after he was turned down by everyone. Some of the best pizza you could possibly eat in Louisville and some of the best pizza I've ever had. The toppings on Wick's pizzas are thicker than the crust. I highly recommend the Mighty Meaty Wick especially, if you like meat lovers pizzas. They also have salads, wings, sandwiches, spaghetti, and a few other things to eat as well.

While visiting Louisville recently I had food delivered from Wick's. Delivery took less time than estimated. The food was very good. I especially loved the White Lasagna. It's not very common to find a white lasagna on a menu, but even less common to find one that is customizeable. I will very likely eat here again, and if I do will definitely have the White Lasagna a second time.

Good was good. Hate that the outside is way littler now that's it's closed in. And the fact it said masks were required to enter yet quite a few people came in without them and not many wearing them walking around. And no one said anything. If your not going to inforse it don't post it that way when people are walking around without them I can decide if I want to go in a place were you don't have to where one. If it's posted I'm not to think everyone has one on however that wasn't the case at all.

Pretty good pizza and crisp, cold brews! It's definitely a great place to grab a slice/salad/beer and people-watch for an afternoon, grab drinks at night, or watch whatever parade Louisville is rocking! They usually set up a mini pizza shop with beer kegs out front during Bardstown events, so you can usually get food/drink pretty quickly. I had ONE bad server ONCE, and the manager handled it well.

The food is always great. My only issue is that when calling in a carry out order today they refused payment by card over the phone. It would have been nice to pay for my order so that I could just walk in, pick it up and leave. Also.....the stuffed breadwick price is $4.75 but I was charged almost $7.00. We decided to give it another try last Friday and the food was once again amazing and the service was much better. Maybe a fluke, we went again on Tuesday, it wasn't, our experience was a good one. This place is expensive, and your wallet will feel it. You won't care, though, when they bring you your pizza, filled to the brim with your favorite toppings, all of which are fresh, delicious, and flavorful. Try the menu items before you order custom pies, because they've worked hard to make sure their pizza combinations are excellent. Do you like good pizza? Are you tired of trying place after place, only to be let down by mediocre (or worse) food? Is your wallet bulging with excess cash, so it's hard to fit in your pocket? Well then, let me recommend Wicks Pizza at the corner of Highland and Baxter Avenues! Now, the first time I tried Wick's Pizza was back in the 1990's, and it was burned. So, Wick's became known to me as 'the place you go for burned pizza', and I didn't go back for about 25 years. That's just the way I am. Recently, however, I decided to give them another try, and I'm glad I did. I ordered the garlic bread with marinara for an appetizer, and a ten inch pie that was half veggie, and half spinach alfredo with chicken. Now I wanna tell you folks, this is some good, good pie. The crust was traditional thickness, soft and tasty. Not burned! The sauce was flavorful and above average. The marinara with the garlic bread was also chunky, almost like salsa, and was the best marinara I've ever had. They don't scrimp on toppings at Wicks. The veggies were piled up under the cheese on the veggie half, and there was enough spinach and chicken on the alfredo half. Topping it all off was a thick blanket of buttery-tasting cheese with just the right taste and texture. It was also not too hot to eat, but also far from cold. In other words: Just right. This sumptuous repast, with some iced tea, set me back about thirty dollars. That was going to cost them one star on this review. I thought: If they put on Morrells and I started saying "Oh my God!" uncontrollably every time I took a bite, then yeah, I'd give 'em five stars for thirty bucks (twenty bucks for the ten inch pie). However, when I consider that the service and atmosphere were also excellent, I think they've earned their five stars. TL;DR: Wicks Pizza has some good, good pie. Some of the best in Louisville, in fact. At twenty bucks for a small one, they'll also help you with that fat wallet problem. However, you often do get what you pay for, and quality don't come cheap. A great place to go every once-in-a-while when you can splurge and want to treat yourself or a friend. Sorry, no photos.

My pizza was originally $17 I took off olives and added mushrooms and it became $20 before tax that's $3 for mushrooms. It was also too loud between the music and the TVs. So i took my boyfriend here cuz he had never been. We showed up like 45 mins before they closed but our waitress was upbeat and uber friendly. The place was unique and adorable. I loved it. We ordered our food and checked the place out. Our food was made to perfection and it was hot and looked amazing. We got the spinich Alfredo pizza and added mushrooms. Then got a order of breadwicks. This was a nice little pizza place. The crowd is a mixture of younger & older people like myself. Everyone was respectful and the overall feeling is a hometown=family. Everyone seemed like they knew each other. I don't think they actually had met. Looking forward to eating here again before I go to Texas. Do you guys have deals or special days that get you special pizza prices? I notice the owner actually responds to comments, good or bad reviews. That is awesome! This was one of the first things I was told to try. There is a family across the bridge in Indiana. They own a Wildlife Sanctuary.. Its called, B & B Wildlife Sanctuary & Habitat. The two brothers that own that place sent me here. They spoke highly of the pizza, the people that work here and the people I would meet here. I was a little nervous being from out of town and being an officer. Louisville has a lot of things going on right now. Those guys told me, not to worry about anything... That Wicks is all about helping to make the community a better place and the people I would find here would treat me like they had. So, I came in here friday & saturday evening. Pizza was great and the people were friendly! I had a really good time. Thank you and thank you guys at B&B Wildlife Sanctuary for recommending I try this place out. 5 stars A+++++

So June 16, 2018 I attended a Bar Crawl to celebrate my birthday. Wicks was a paraticipant in this event and my group and I decided to eat there once we finished (about 6pm). After waiting 30 minutes for all 6 people to get water and order food. We waited another 45-50 for the food to arrive but strange enough one appetizers arrived 15 minutes after we all finished eating. I then had to go up and ask an employee about the plain wings we we're still missing and luck would have it, they hadn't even been placed as an order by our waitress. After waiting for them to be made, I then had to walk up and ask if the wings on the countertop we're for my group and I served them to the member of my group, not an employee. Now I'm asuassum that Wicks just did not prepare for the Bar Crawl they signed themselves up to participate in and once we finally got ALL of our food is was okay. But the service was ridiculous and having to put and order in myself and serve it to my table is unnecessary. Things happen I know but if we would have walked out on the check we had to physically go get in order to pay the management of this establishment would have been upset. I know it put an extreme damper on my birthday celebrations and I had members of my group go home after this because they were just plain angry. Busy or not customer satisfaction, heck not making your customers work should be a must. On the 16th of June Wicks Pizza Parlor dropped the ball 💯% and there's no go rhyme or reason for it.

Wick's is certainly a staple of the Highlands. It's a great spot to grab a beer and some pie, especially during events like parades or Cyclouvia, or just on a pleasant day when the people watching on Bardstown Road is at it's best. The menu is diverse and pretty good, but not super cheap, and the pizza seems to have decreased slightly in quality in the last couple of years (I don't see how it can be the #3 pizza restaurant in Louisville as they claim). It's disappointing that they have done away with their Wednesday night 9-12 all-you-can-eat-and-drink-for-$10 deal, although this does spare one the pain of having their eardrums bleed at the punishment of the out-of-control DJ with too large of speakers. All in all it's a decent pizza and beer restaurant/bar in a good location, but for specialty pizza or craft beer, there are better options nearby.

Had a blast at Wick's during my only visit to Louisville...during the Highlands Festival! Met some awesome locals that showed me the ropes and kept my blood filled with jagerbombs :D Did not get to experience any of the good yummies I saw on the menu but service was killer and atmosphere was on point. Loved the food, just didn’t like my waiter shaquita she took to long to bring my food and had a really bad attitude when the food did come to my table, drink refills took about 15 minutes other than that wicks is really good with the prices and the food loved it for my first time just need to get better servers that don’t have an attitude.
