I absolutely loved the vibe of this place and the late hours. The house salad was amazing but we thought the pizza was just okay, very light on the toppings for the prices. We thought it was weird that they have the tip option at the register when you pay, before you experience the food or service. They don’t wait on you here so I am unsure what you are tipping for? The bathroom was literally unheated to the point of thinking I was going outside when I approached the door..but kinda added to the atmosphere I guess. 😂

What can I say. Good pizza in pinch. Especially 4am in the morning. The delivery was fast and conveniently to the downtown hotel. This gave me since of a Chicago with lil new York of the big slices. I have to say this was a Big boy approved pizza.f

3.5 stars. When it’s 3 am and you’re hungry there’s not much complaining you can do. Philly fries were good. Pizza was good but not good as I remembered years ago. No fountain drinks . Maybe Covid has changed a lot of stuff but as I said when it’s 3am and your hungry you tend to be flexible and it’s worth the money . Also our order was ready and at our table within ten minutes

A Louisville staple (and hasn't changed much in the least 2 decades like other late- night eateries in bardstown! Love the food here and the fact that its open so late makes it even better. Very much my late night choice. It may be slightly over priced as you are more than likely to buy by the slice and if you are having more than one, it can add up.

Family went to Louisville,KY for my bday weekend. Got hungry and our girlfriend found this place open late. We stopped in and it was so cute with car tables. We noticed they had cauliflower crust for pizza and we got some. It was delicious and the butter Flavor on crust was a hit. The pizza tasted fresh as well. I love the had no pizza sauce options since it comes with sugar and my wife and I can't have it. We got the oil base.

I enjoyed their food, it is very tasty. Love the fact they are open until 5am. Yes 5am, not a typo. Did have 2 issues. Was in town for 5 nights. Ordered pizza 3 of those nights. 1st night pepperoni pizza. Not much pepperoni on the pizza. Still pretty good. 2nd night ordered pizza with extra pepperoni. Got maybe 5 more pepperoni than the night before. 3rd night I told the phone guy to put as many peperoni on the pizza as they are legally allowed too without getting in trouble. The guy laughed and said "ok, so extra, extra pepperoni, got it." There was maybe the same number as the 2nd night. :'( 4th night, decided to get the cheese steak. Ordered it with onions and mushrooms, mayo on the side, and an order of peperoni knots The cheese steak was delicious but no mushrooms and no mayo on the side. The peperoni knots, well, they were MIA. Not 1 peperoni knot to be found. I'm not sure what they have against peperoni. Maybe they were waiting for a delivery and trying to make them last? Maybe the kitchen staff doesn't like peperoni so they think noone else should either? Maybe Kentucky is in a peperoni shortage and I just didn't know? Maybe there is a pepperoni vortex that absorbs 90% of the pepperoni used? Maybe another customer got all of my peperoni on their order and we're wondering what this place's obsession is with peperoni? Maybe the kitchen staff got hungry cause they didn't get a lunch break cause this place is always slammed with customers? I guess I'll never know. Great food, great hours, even though they seem to hate pepperoni. PS the picture is the pie received after asking for the maximum amount of peperoni they are legally allowed to put on a pizza. Somehow I think the law allows the use of way more peperoni than that... Peperoni

I had the white pizza with fries and cheese bread. The food was good but I felt the pizza may have been sitting out awhile. The fries were amazing and the ranch was the good ranch, cheese bread was fresh and hot. The one downside I truly have is the rudeness of the gentleman at the counter, he treated us as if he had better things to do, ignoring us when asking questions about the menu and gave little to no emotion or interaction, giving me the impression he did not want to be there/dealing with us. We've never been before and were curious on how the pizza slice/menu worked. Overall food good, service from employee terrible

Cool place. Being a philly native it was awesome to find this place. Pizza was perfectly ok. Needs more sauce, what I could taste of it, it was good. Its a big slice and that makes semse for 5.00. Super think, and no rise to the dough but it was soft and foldable without craking and breaking apart. Over all I would be satisfied if this was my local pizzeria. Great vibes and friendly staff!

Mediocre pizza. Taste great when you’re drunk. Not so good when you’re sober. Medium pepperoni pizza, a salad, cheese fries and 4 drinks for around $55. If it’s a late night and you’re drunk go for it.

Ummmm this shhhtt is delicious! Ordered on NYE thinking we'd have a long wait ahead of us, NOPE! Driver was super nice, fast, friendly, & reassured us all of our extras were in the bag. Which they were! The awesome thing is the food was even better! Hot, fresh, fckin delicious! We got the Meatball sub & some cheese sticks. Both were great, but the Meatball sub was one of the best subs I've ever had in my 40 yrs. Trust me too, I've had many meatball subs. Bread crispy, meatballs perfectly spicy & flavorful. We could totally tell they were made fresh! NO frozen up in here! We ordered extras sauces. Ummm they gave us even more sauces then we ordered which nowadays is a freakin' miracle just to get the sauces muchless get them in the first place! Super happy they deliver to us in Downtown Jeffersonville, IN! Definitely will be back for more. Possibly New Years Day...💜💜

Delicious little pizza joint with a fun local vibe and food that matches. The large size pizza is better than I anticipated and could easily feed 4-5 people. I definitely recommend them for the vibe alone, but the food seals the deal for sure.

Excellent place to grab a huge pizza by the slice anytime as they're open all night. Their basic cheese slice is inexpensive and tasty. Friendly staff and a fun casual atmosphere makes this a winner for local neighborhood pizzeria. There is sidewalk seating but no dedicated bike rack although there is a guard rail along their ramp entrance which can be used to lock a bike.

These guys got your Late night pizza covered. Super tasty but be prepared to stand in line. That's how popular and delicious it is. Call ahead. I was in town for the street rod Nats with Garrets Rod Shop and after a long evening of bar stops this was the answer for Late night grub. Come try it.

The upside: they're open super late, you can get pizza by the slice, and the decor is punk/metal/alt. The downside: the prices are high, the service is questionable, and the food is honestly mediocre. I love that Spinelli's opened a grocery store during COVID and hosts concerts. But I've literally had my slice of pizza burned multiple times because the clerks forget about the slice, so they have to heat another slice. Or I've wanted a slice of cheese pizza, which is about $6, and they ran out, so I had to get a meat slice, which is closer to $10. It's a coin flip whether you're gonna have a great experience or a weird one that makes you dissatisfied. Spinelli's is a place that is uniquely Louisville and worth at least one trip. But it's pretty rough around the edges.

Customer service leaves something to be desired, but the pizza was awesome. I've been looking for a good NY style pizza since we moved here, and this was definitely a hit. The wait times are definitely not accurate, but if you have time to kill, the pizza is definitely worth it.

The crust is a little bland and it can be a little greasy compared to other pizzas, but the toppings are good and if you get one with ricotta it really ups the quailty of the food. If you live close by the delivery is pretty quick, and all the delivery people I've met in the last few months from there have seemed pretty cool.

Very fancy location and the food was amazing. We enjoyed the Taco Pizza and the kids their chicken tenders with fries. If you would offer real dishes and silverware it would be perfect. Absolutely hate the styro cups ;-)

So many vegan options! I had a slice of "The Veginator" (and then bought a whole pie two days later)... probably the best pizza I've had! The fried Oreos were good too. Will for sure be eating here when I'm in Louisville again.

Delicious pizza and amazing chocolate chip cookies. The atmosphere is inked out woth graffiti and west coast vibe. I'm so glad we stopped to grab a bite at this joint. They have two separate rooms and to enjoy a chill dining. Must try if your in Louisville!

Was passing through town via highway, so I ordered ahead because they were the only place with late night hours. I was SO happy I did! Triple-meat Pizza was great and the ambiance inside this location was fun. Wish I could have stayed longer and wish this place was closer to my home! People in Louisville will tell you Spinelli's is just OK. Those people are bankrupt of taste. There isn't a better pizza in Louisville and certainly not a pizza place that has such a prolific vibe as this local establishment. Beyond just a pizza, Spinelli's is an institution. Just look at the shirts. That said, the pizza is... well, just take a look.

It's a cool looking spot. Used to go here a lot as a teenager. If it's late and you want a decent slice, it's worth a visit. The prices for the slices are a bit steep but sometimes you just gotta over pay to find late night food that isn't McDonalds.

Spinelli's Pizza is a staple in Louisville KY. If you are looking for late night grub after a night out @ one of the many bars along Bardstown Rd... you'll want to go right down the street to Spinelli's Pizza. They are open 7 days a week 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. My personal favorite is the White Pizza. Don't forget about dessert, they have the best fried Oreos & fried s'mores. Next time you're in louisville stop in @ Spinelli's Pizza, you will not be disappointed! Thanks!

What a cool pizza place! Small inside,but a really neat atmosphere. Like Pulp Fiction there are cars to sit down and eat in which I've never seen but personally loved. The pizza was out of this world. My eyes were way bigger than my stomach as even one slice was huge and delicious!

I ordered a pizza on new years eve at like 1 am the lady said it would be a few hours which I mean it's new years eve. Not only did the guy get there earlier than quoted it was the best pizza I've had in years. It was worth every min of the wait. I'm from outta town but I plan on making a trip just for the pizza

Ordered from here a few times; delivery and pick-up. Always enjoyed the pizza, but the cheese fries ate not good. They're too dry, and too seasoned, not the gooey mess cheese fries should be. But, that's about my only complaint.

This was so great! We hadn't eaten in over 10 hours (traveled from Indianapolis for Mike Epps Comedy Show)...hot and fresh! Largest Supreme pizza, large chicken tenders (half the order was missing, but loved the dip), fried oreos and drinks! It was worth the 45 minute wait! Definitely a family oriented business!

This pizza place is absolutely to die for! With awesome customer service and even better food, you won't find a more pleasant and quirky pizza place anywhere else! From the standard pepperoni to more "exotic" pizzas like Funyun BBQ. Options between indoor and outdoor are always nice as well!

This is a really casual atmosphere. This place is like punk rock pizza. Do not go here if you are looking to be waited on. It is walk up ordering and they deliver your food to the table. You can order pizza by the slice or a whole pizza. They also have appetizers and sandwiches. We ordered vegan knots and they are to die for. Spinach, mushroom, garlic, and vegan cheese rolled into a pinwheel of delicious dough, baked and served with garlic oil and marinara dip. It is open all night and is perfect for a yummy last meal after a night out.

My husband and I usually order from here. The pizza is delicious and i enjoy the large new york styled slices. Today we brought the kids in and they enjoyed the setting. Out of towners...got in late for a tour at Waverly Hills Sanitarium and needed to find something good to eat at 2am. Spinelli"s hit the spot. The pizza was delicious....thin and crispy crust with fresh and tasty toppings. It's a great spot for late nite munchies and open til 5am. Very friendly staff.

Been here once. Pizza is similar to New York-style. Tried three kinds of their specialty pizza and all of them were very good. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. They don't have a drink menu (but do serve alcohol) and the appetizers are a bit overpriced. However, the establishment has character (along with good pizza) and is worth paying a visit. Would recommend to a friend.

The pizza was good. I was expecting a little more out of a $17 pizza, but it was good. Here are the general qualities of the pizza we had: small amount of sauce; very thin pizza; thicker (maybe 1 inch) and very fluffy crust; some but not excessive grease; comfortably fed 3 adults (but might not be quite enough for the appetite of two college guys). The delivery was also sufficient (slightly under their expected time to delivery).

Sadly, this is one of the best slices in Louisville. That's not saying much. It tries to be a NYC style slice but the flavor is lacking somehow. Also I agree with the complaints about the price - $4.25 for a cheese slice is high no matter how oversized it is. And no coke, pepsi, blah. The one time I got a whole pie it was badly burnt - so bad it should have been remade but they had no qualms selling it to me.

The huge slices of pizza is amazing and this place is highly unrated. Just since the food is fresh to order prepare to wait 20 minutes but ill wait an entire day if I had to. I always get one slice of white pizza when I come. I can never finish one slice it's so big. Think a quarter of a small pizza when ordering one slice. The deep fried Oreos were awesome. I like the atmosphere and that it's open so late. I always go there really late on bad days when I can't sleep. It's a great pick me up because of the comfort food and I can talk to whoever I'm with and not worry about being overheard because of the music. The wait staff has always been nice as well.

This is a Louisville staple. It is the crown jewel of all pizza places. Their late hours and extensive menu of delicious food are already a huge plus, and they have very fast and helpful service. Beyond that, I don’t know a ton of pizza places that allow you to order single specialty slices, or pizzas as outrageous as half chicken and waffles and half spicy Hawaiian. If you want pizza in Louisville, look no further than Spinelli’s!

Actually more like 4 1/2 stars...this is a favorite spot to take the family, a date or even go solo. One unpleasant experience recently cost the half star because of the dry, overaged slices and a burnt bottom of the entire order of "pep knots" appetizer which resembled five hockey pucks on a pie pan. (And when mentioned, told by an employee that "they're like that because they stay in the oven longer than anything else")............. ...........does anyone else see the absurdity of that statement??? (Bless her little heart....I think she meant well). Highly recommended

Used to be my favorite pizza joint a decade ago. For as much respect as I have for the place, I don't recommend it anymore. Not sure if the pizza or the efforts of the employees has changed, but Spinelli's feels different now. It could be that they haven't changed and the neighborhood has. They may continue to lose relevance in a rapidly evolving community unless they switch things up a bit. However, the massive slice and unique environment will continue to offer a worthwhile experience to visitors in town.

I ordered delivery of an 18" supreme pizza while at the Downtown Marriott. Spinellis delivered one of the best pizzas that I have ever had. That's saying a lot because I believe pizza, beer and ice cream are the 3 major food groups. It was huge at 18" with East Coast type crust and massive pieces of pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers and onions. I could only eat half and saved the rest for breakfast in the morning. I did not leave one bite.

Delicious pizza and timely delivery (from this location). Still unfortunate that we ended up waiting 2.5 hours for our pizza and paid full price, however it was the 5th street location's fault, they waited 2 hours and then transferred our order over to Baxter - after the Baxter location picked it up, we received our pizza within 30 minutes. I'm not totally sure if the pizza was AMAZING or we were just so hungry after waiting 3 hours to have our pizza delivered. I will be reluctant to order from Spinelli's Pizzeria in the future - as $50 is a steep price for one pizza, three drinks, and waiting 3 hours.

Spinelli's is what it is. Do I come here for a nice sit down dinner or when I'm craving the best pizza in town? No. Am I grateful for their existence on late drunken nights when nobody else is open or will deliver? Absolutely! If you do go in the store front, it's convenient that they keep several types of pizza ready for sale by the price, and they're always a solid place to get a cheap beer (PBR is the staple). We descended upon Spinelli's at midnight with a group of about 16 people. The guy who greeted us at the front counter was professional and courteous. Destiny and Brianna (my apologies if I butchered those spellings) jumped on the challenge with high-energy and a great attitude. Just to get us all seated they had to reshuffle the room a little bit and did so with tact and speed. My friend and I ordered a meat lover's pizza, and it was loaded with toppings and the crust and sauce all had great flavor. We were pretty loud and unmanageable, but we all had a great time as we pretty much took over the main room. Naked Burt smiled down upon us as Spinelli's made our tummies happy and our spirits higher.

I trusted the reviews I had read on this establishment and felt they led me astray. Yes, the inside of Spinelli's looks cool, and it seems like a nice place to chillout. But as for the food and service they definitely were not cool. I ordered two slices of pizza with ham. The person behind the counter asked me twice, and both times I had said ham. He gave me my slices and they only had cheese. Small thing, but frustrating. Then when I finally got around to eating one of my ham and cheese slices I realised that the place, cool and quirky though it was, did not seem all that clean. There were crumbs on quite a few of the empty tables and more than one or two flies buzzing around. And then there was the final straw. As I was eating my slice (which was relatively tasty but nothing to get excited about), I was just getting to the crust when I found something embedded in the tomato sauce. A nice black, glistening fly. Disgusted, I asked for my money back. I was only given back the money for the one slice, despite both slices coming from the same pizza. Not being bothered enough to argue my point I just left. I could deal with losing out on a few dollars, but couldn't have dealt with staying in that place another minute.

Best Cheesesteak Stromboli, PERIOD! Visiting Louisville from Albuquerque, NM and I was looking for a late night bite. Found this place online and called to place and order. The cheesesteak stromboli was generously loaded with cheese and thin cut steak, baked to perfection with a thin and soft crust, and came with delicious pizza sauce and oil aioli. The shop itself has a very edgy and fun design, and the pizza boxes are personalized for the shop with great artwork! Definitely recommend and will come back anytime that I am in Louisville!!

It’s the best philly I’ve ever had, not including Philadelphia. I know several people that have lived in Philly or visited a ton and say that Spinellis cheese steak is on par with the best in philly. Not only that, but their fries with cheese whiz are the bomb too. Probably my favorite fries in Louisville. And the desserts here are fire too.

You can't find real New York style pizza outside of New York/New Jersey. Not physically possible, due to elevation, water quality, humidity, the list goes on. However Spinelli's comes the closest of ANY pizzeria my family has found in the south. Is it perfect? No, the crust is a little off, and there are other nitpicky things I could point out, but overall, it's amazing. Great atmosphere, great selection, and it tastes good too. I love the traditional stromboli, not completely authentic, but not enough to stop me from ordering it almost every time. Point is, for the best pizza in Ky, with a great atmosphere, go to Spinelli's

Used to come here for years, but sadly moved out of state. Knew I had to stop by once I got back in town, and it's as great as I remember. From the fries covered in Cheez Wiz to the pizza slices that take two plates to hold, nothing says Louisville like Spinelli's, especially at 3am when you need that pizza fix.

I LOVE SPINELLIS! Ever since I moved here and had my first order of fried oreos, I refuse to order anywhere else! The atmosphere is always enjoyable, regardless which one I eat at, and if I get delivery - it's always on time. Sometimes it can be 5 minutes late, but I have worked in the food service industry for 8 years now and I know more than anyone else how it can be when you have only a few people cooking and literally HUNDREDS of orders all at once; in short, Spinellis does a damn fine job every time I order, regardless if it's Derby or just a Sunday at home watching tv.

Super Cool Peeps and the home of Louisville Core band, KnOcKeD LoOsE!! Yeppers, Spinelli's supports 502 metal, core, and underground bands. That pizza is the 4th best [not too shabby, babby!] {some/many disagree with me, though 😁} in Louisville. However, ya'll; this location is the best one because it's at the tail end of Baxter Avenue in the HIGHlands neighborhood of LOUevil. Killer tunes on that jukebox {also the 4th best in town} and you can sit outside to stuff your grill while you see all the debauchery, just over the Hill...of Phoenix. Spinelli's, I want YOU to know that, "I want to eat your pizza!"
