Kyle was great. He told us so much about all the food they have and about his favs. The food here is excellent and will definitely be back might order the whole menu. All of the sliders we ordered were so good the smoke flavor perfectly set them apart. Prices are very reasonable and it is easy to order the menu. The pictures i posted i thought i had a list of all the sliders but got the sides list sorry

Vary good food and service. I had the Buffalo Chicken and the Fish Slider that I can't pernounce. The bun was soft and fresh grilled with butter with the perfect crunch. The frys were great. All in all a great place to stop. Mostly liked the habenerio honey sauce.

The food and drinks are on point! I tried the house cut fries, and the meatballs with lingonberry glaze and Swedish pickles. the BB&B with Buffalo grace bourbon, blood orange liqueur, blackberry syrup and ginger ale so far and all of it is sooooo good! My server was Carlie and she’s great!!! Go see her at Oskars slider bar!

Absolutely loved it. Food and drinks… yum!beets salad is the same as my mom cooked when i was a child, absolutely forgot about it. Lingonberry margarita was also great! I wish i could give more than 5 stars! Tusen takk!!!

We were pleasantly surprised to hear that this was a Scandinavian themed restaurant when we walked in. The staff were very friendly and walked us through the menu offerings. We tried several sliders but the Fiskefrikadelle was our favorite. Give the Scandinavian digestif, Aquavit, a try as it's hard to find in the United States.

What a wonderful place! We stopped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our server, Cory, (Cori? Kory? Very sorry about name misspellings!) was just lovely and very accommodating. I have many allergies and he was very patient with me about it all! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS. Whatever you order, get a side of fries. I don't know what magic they used, but they were soooo tasty. They have gluten free and vegan options, so definitely check them out if you have allergies or intolerances! The atmosphere is so nice too. My only issue was that I couldn't get a hold of anyone before going into the restaurant to ask about my allergy stuff. That can be a game changer for folks like me! But it turned out fine and I so look forward to going back for dinner some time. :) Thank you guys!

I dined outside in the outdoor space, which was set up very nicely. Ordered the chicken and cheeseburger sliders with a side of fries. Straightforward menu which pays off because the items they have are very good.

I stopped in as it sounded a bit different than most bar food and it was. The food was fresh and well made with an education of the many tastes to try. John, the bartender, was very attentive to me and everyone at the bar without being creepy... ie, excellent. My favorite two on the menu were the Fiskefrikadeller and the Kale salad but the Skagen was a close third. Good choices of beers and cocktails. Sadly the dessert special was sold out. I highly recommend this place whether a solo dinner or a group.

Really good variety, every slider stood out somehow. Good beer and drink menu. Good service, fantastic food, cool atmosphere inside. My favorite slider is the corned beef, but they were all delicious.

Food and drinks were excellent. They recommend 3-5 items per person. I ordered the meatballs and 4 different sliders and all were awesome! Our server was super friendly and did a great job. I would definitely recommend this place! Next time I would probably just get 4 items though 😁 …

The atmosphere was a unique combination of outdoorsy and 1970's, with a little hipster vibe. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. The clientele ranged from 20's-60's, with the majority in their 30's & 40's. I like to try foods I've never or rarely had, so I got a variety of "sliders" and I almost didn't get the cheeseburger slider since it is so basic, but I'm glad I didn't pass it up! The cheeseburger was my favorite, which says a lot about the quality of a place, when something as ordinary as a cheeseburger slider is so extraordinary! The menu is not extensive, but has a wide variety for different pallets. It is a place that is good to grab a quick bite that isn't fast food and a good place to hang out with friends to get some grub and drinks. If I had to place Oskar's in a box, I'd classify it as high-end bar food. If you are in the area, I'd recommend you give them a try.

Went here for the first time the other night and had a pretty good experience. It's listed as a New American style restuarant, but there is definitely Nordic influence in everything from the beer selection to the decor. There is a good beer selection with some local names and some Scandinavian options. I don't recall the name but my boyfriend had a blueberry double IPA that he loved and I had a mixed berry cider that was delicious (SUPER sweet if that's your jam). There is a slider for everyone here. You can order as many or as few as you'd like so depending on how hungry you are or how tight your budget, you'll be just fine. We ordered the buffalo chicken, fried chicken, grilled halloumi, pork belly, ham and cheese, a white fish option (maybe cod? I can't remember), and the good ol' Merican cheeseburger. We also got fries and I highly recommend their housemade spicy mayo with them. Good size sliders. They will fill you up without feeling like you over ate. Overall good experience.. like others I had a sticky table and that was a peeve for me personally but it seems the owner is aware of it and has commented on it in other reviews.

Being from Milwaukee, WI, this place felt like we never left. They even had Milwaukee brand root beer 😁. Obviously with sliders bar...they offered a variety of them. You can literally try carnivore to vegan choices of sliders. I had the pot roast, veggie burger, and fish sandwich. This restaurant is less than a ten minute drive from the Louisville airport. So glad we stopped. Love this bar!

A slider bar is something I've never been to before, but getting recommended this place while I was passing through Louisville was a fantastic idea. I had 6 sliders in total (cheeseburger, fried cod, pot roast, venison sausage, buffalo chicken and lamb), with a side of meatballs and a few local craft beers. Great service, friendly staff and delicious food was what I enjoyed, and I would definitely recommend this as the flavours were all unique, but presented some delicious combinations. The bartender was great to chat with as well!

This was a great “change to the norm”. Delicious sliders and the fries were different in a GREAT way. Customer service was great. Everyone was nice and friendly. Definitely going to come back to try their large selection of beer.

Awesome food and awesome service. I sat at the bar and was served by John. They didn't have the drink I wanted so he suggested something else which was delcious. I got 2 sliders, a salad, fries and a mixed drink for $16. Food came out fast, menu was explained since it was my first time, and it tasted great. I've been driving by here for months and I'm very impressed! Came back again and had Alan at the bar and he is fantastic! Super helpful and very friendly. He was sociable with all the customers and had genuine conversations with them.

Went for a painting party. Which in itself was amazing. But getting to sample Oskar taken Swedish cusine put this night over the top. Their meats and cheese' are so classical Swedish but done in a way to appeal to our American palate. Just writing this and I am trying to figure out a way to go back. Also Elderberry cocktails and Scandinavian desserts with the right amount of tangy sweet really make this a must for those searching for a new dining experience. It also boasts some truly epic art pieces. Feast for your eyes and senses. Need I say more

First time recommended visit. Fantastic bloody mary (I learned what aquavit was and will likely substitute it for traditional vodka for all future bloody Marys!) Pictures are the cheeseburger, smoked halloumi, corned beef and venison sausage (my favorite) sliders on gluten free buns. Will be back here again very soon; all were fantastic and so much more to try!

I loved everything I tried here! The sliders were all tasty, with attention paid to flavor, construction, and mouthfeel. The cocktails were very affordable, and they have aquavit! A couple of vegetarian options but primarily aimed at meat-eaters. Will definitely be going back, and I'll make it a staple for when showing off Louisville's food scene to visitors.

Great food, good drinks, and killer ambiance. Somehow hits the balance between neighborhood bar and cool eclectic date spot. Kid friendly! No kids menu but the sliders and small sides are definitely appropriate for young diners (our 6 year old gets a slider and side of fries). Meat, seafood, veggie and vegan options available. Good drink selection too, including aquavit (very Nordic appropriate!) Most menu items are about $3. I recommend the smoked halloumi cheese slider!

Diverse flavor sliders are the fare here. Had corned beef, salmon cake, brisket and chicken. Hard pressed to choose a favorite. Fries looked good, but I passed so I could sample more sliders. Sliders are $3-4 each & you'll need several. They have Kombucha tea & a diverse adult beverage menu as well.

First visit was today, even after knowing it being in existence since it’s conception. I don’t know why I waited so long! Great slider options, awesome beer menu, and with a category of “Dad Beers”, you can not go wrong! Last but not least, our server, Hollis, killed it. She does an awesome job! I’ll definitely be back to this place!

My son and I went here after almost getting hit head-on by someone who swerved into oncoming traffic on Poplar Level Rd. We needed somewhere close to process what had almost happened. This place was awesome! We tried almost every slider and none disappointed. Hollis was our server and she was amazing. We would definitely recommend this joint to anyone wanting delicious small sized forget sandwiches and the like.

This place has been on the list of restaurants to try for too long and we finally made time for it. The sliders were wonderful and provide no limit of new experiences. Fries came out hot and crispy. Excellent beer selection both draft and bottle/can. They appear to have quite the list of unique cocktails but haven't had the opportunity to try. Website is convenient as well.

A nice concept. A cool lace to grab some small bites and some drinks with friends or family. I wouldn't recommend this place if you have a big appetite. More of a tapas bar mean to be enjoyed with company.

Nice hole in the wall slider bar. The menu selection was varied enough to make the place interesting. The nock I have on it is lack of flavor. The description sounded much more flavorful than delivered. The beer selection was passable, with some unique liquor selections.

Food is great. My one and true complaint is that they've cut off online orders and call ahead as well which means they want us to sit at the bar for a half hour or more when a lot of us are on the go. I also dont drink so it feels odd sitting at a bar waiting. I just feel like in 2022 getting rid if online and call ahead ordering feels out of date because unless you're wanting a dine in experience, waiting 30 mins t the place is inconvenient

Are you kidding with this place? Scandinavian themed slider bar from the hard working people behind Grind? It's amazing. The flavors on each of those little sliders varies so much and it is all so good. Plus a full stocked bar and the to go option has been solid through most of 2020. I love taking visitors from out of town here - no place like it and the food matches the unique, intriguing set up. Top notch!

Great place to eat after visiting the zoo. The staff were super friendly and the COVID guidelines that they follow made us feel safe and comfortable. They offer gluten free buns and have a separate gluten free menu including sides and how to modify slider orders. I got the cheeseburger slider and the pulled pork slider (they brought me that one instead of the pork belly, oops) and the cheeseburger was my favorite! It was amazing! My boyfriend got the fried chicken, veggie, and buffalo chicken sliders. His favorite was the fried chicken and the fries were really good, too. The veggie slider is vegan so it's nice that they have that option. They also have a gluten free and vegan cookie for dessert. Fair prices and a cool environment with awesome music, we can't wait to go back or order carryout!

Wow. This place was amazing. Everything we tried (and we probably tried most of the menu) was so good. Definitely get the smoked halloumi if you have the pleasure of visiting Oskar's! My husband loved the corned beef, cheeseburger, smoked pork belly, and venison sausage as well! We can't wait to come back. The atmosphere is great. It's quaint, local feeling and the service is amazing. This place is a gem that I only wished we discovered sooner!

My girlfriend and I went here for my birthday last night, and not only was the wait staff helpful and extremely friendly, the atmosphere of this place is amazing. The food was so good I ordered two more cheeseburgers after my initial meal even though I was comfortably full (it was my birthday, live a little). Honestly, I would give this place ten stars if that was possible. Definitely my new favorite spot, and I found my new favorite beer! (A blackberry porter, I can’t remember the name) This place is awesome. Highly recommend.

Sliders just grew up. If you are thinking greasy little burgers, prepare to have your mind blown. There are culinary combinations on this menu that tell me that a brilliant chef was involved in their creation. The service was friendly and fast as well!

Stopped in today for the first time with my brother for some lunch. Ordered 3 sliders, Corned Beef, Buffalo Chicken, a cheeseburger and an order of meatballs. Sliders were all super tasty, for lack of a better description. Flavors were unique and not exactly typical for what you’d think you were ordering. Corned beef was hands down my favorite. I did substitute ranch for the blue cheese on the buffalo slider. Meatballs were excellent, albeit a little small. Would be willing to pay a little more for some larger balls if offered. Sweet tea was excellent, Service was superb as well. Greeted immediately by hostess and chose to sit at the bar. Bartender very hospitable and knowledgeable of the menu. Will be back soon to try some other sliders. Cozy atmosphere.

Grabbed takeout lunch to try a selection of sliders from this restaurant. They vary in price from $2 to $3.50 per slider, but are extremely simple with just a few ingredients. You will need at least 3 sliders per person to feel full. Large beer menu inside, majority is bottles/cans. Not a bad experience, but nothing special.

Second time there was even better than the first. Sat at a high top by the bar. Bartender was excellent. Explained several drinks and all three cocktails were exceptional. Standard cheeseburger sliders were on point. Pretty amazing how simple they are, yet have so much flavor. Quality of the beef is top notch. Tried the pot roast slider...it was dope. They had a special buffalo chicken slider that knocked my socks off with subtle back burn heat. Kale salad was a little tough compared to the last time, but still, delicious and simple. Needed to be massaged a little more. Excellent experience.

The food was good, as always, but the menu is more limited than before. We were less than thrilled with the draft beer selection but fortunately there acceptable canned beers. Service was a little slow but friendly. I have since learned that the changes in the food and beer menus are supply related and are temporary. We will be visiting Oskar's again!

I really enjoyed this place. I had a class nearby and was looking for a place for a light dinner and a craft beer. Food was tapas style, you chose from a list of sliders in the $4 range that would satisfy both the adventurous and those who prefer more standard fare like a cheese burger or ham and cheese. I got a walleye slider but they had shrimp and other unique offerings. They also had interesting sides for only $2. I got the kale salad that was good, but the beet salad was to die for. They had a nice selection of craft beer on tap and lots in bottles and cans. They also had a very interesting selection of mixed drinks, which might be there specialty. The atmosphere is maybe retro and somewhat stark for my tastes, but I enjoyed my visit and will be going back.

I came here for lunch with my husband and 6 year old. We all really loved it. The service was great (I can't remember our server's name but she was very helpful, efficient and funny), the food really hit the spot, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxed. The breading on the fish slider was so delicate and light and we loved the fried chicken too. I can't wait to come back one night with friends for drinks and to try more of the options.

Service was very friendly a the fries were amazing. The food seems overpriced for the portions they give you as it was suggested to order 3-5 sliders for a full meal. Thats anywhere from $9 to $20 for the sliders only. Without a drink, side or extra sauces. I wouldn't have mind the price if the taste was much better. The few things that my partner and I ordered tasted alright, but only alright. It was a neat experience, but not a place we will visit again.

The service is always great. We love the sliders and have tried nearly all of them. There is a great variety. The fries are skinny, hot and perfectly salted. They have a very extensive bar menu, and also many dessert options. It’s so nice having a fun, unique place to hang out.

Fabulous food! Expect something different when you come here. The price is high but it reflects the quality of the food. The great thing is you don't have to spend a lot if you don't want to, unless you are really hungry. Come for lunch if you don't want to wait for a table, the menu is the same. Savor every fantastic bite and you'll know it's worth the money. The sides are generous in size. Beet salad was delicious, all the sliders we tried were wonderful. My friends wanted to buy the cheeseburgers by the case! Pork belly was the best I've ever had. The only complaint I can think of was the fries weren't crispy, a bit soggy. Give this place a try!

Our favorite neighborhood restaurant. That said, we would travel across town for Oskar’s sliders! The food is always delicious and the service great. I generally get 2-3 sliders and a side salad. It’s the perfect amount of food and a great value for the money. Definitely recommend if you haven’t tried it.

This was a bucket list restsurant. I drive by it often and always wanted to stop. Last night I did and it was great. We had 3 salads and 5 different sliders all the veggie or fish ones and all delicious. The pricesmake it easy to sample lots. We will definitely be back!

Great food, laid back atmosphere. If you are looking for a more low-key place to get good food and drinks with friends, this is the place! It's always on my list to take friends from out of town, because it is more unique than just pizza. It's not cheap, especially since the portions aren't big (I mean, they are sliders), but it's not insane either. Like a very livable hipster bar.

Food and drinks are excellent! Same people that own Grind Burger, same quality. Slider burgers and a la cart sides. They have weekly specials at the bar and from the kitchen. Staff is friendly and great, laid back atmosphere. Pricing is fair but portions are small. Highly recommend!

Amazing decor, it's like a Scandinavian bar and eatery. All the food you order is separate prices and it comes in it's own little bowl thing. The food was actually amazing and the waiter was also amazing. The meatballs were perfect and the mixed drinks were very strong, but in a good way.

Yesterday was my first visit. My wife and I ordered 6 sliders and a 7th arrived by I think my mistake. All were good, as was the side of fries and smoked ketchup. Our 2 draft beers were good as well. Service was attentive and friendly. Tapas style, the bill can add up, but the quality is there. Sorry I missed out on the dessert special! Interesting place, cool atmosphere, out of the usual bites! The only issue was the stickiness of the tables. Don't know why, and this bothered my wife more than me, but everything looked very clean. I touched 2 other tables and the same. We'll be back.

The food the waiters all of it wonderful! My only complaint is for management. When you have outdoor eating you have yo close it off so that people can't dine and dash. Poor waiter of ours had to pay for some jerks beers because they skipped out. Hopefully our tip made him come out ahead still.

Good: - Ambiance and atmosphere are perfect! This restaurant has managed to capture the coveted “it factor”. - With inexpensive small bites, the menu setup allows and encourages a perfect combination that results in a variety of tastes in a single meal. - Friendly service experienced on my visit. Cautions: - For those looking for healthy options, it’s quite limited. The veggie burger is what drew me in, but it was not very good (the patty had a mushy texture and was it not saved by the bland sauce). For me, the overall experience was just “okay” because, after all, it’s all about the food. Healthy eaters may not be pleased. With that said, I bumped up my rating a bit because, from service to ambiance, it was fantastic! I think for many, this place will be a hit, scoring nothing less than perfect.

I knew they had gotten rocked due to zoo biz earlier today with the warm weather; but he was so chill and collected. He also supported everyone on staff, it was really awesome to know that technically he was busy/stressed but never really showed it.

This is a cool place with neat food at a good price. If you want a bunch of tiny delicious sandwiches, eat here. I especially recommend the grilled halloumi; it's my favorite even stacked up against the meat sandwiches. The venison sausage is also quite tasty. Eat here!

The food is always great. My favorite is still the corned beef slider, but I've had most and would recommend all of them. Very reasonably priced bourbon list and tasty cocktails. If you haven't tried Oskar's yet, you should. Outside and Inside dining work great here. Grab some togo if you're in a hurry too.

So happy we came across this place on our way through Louisville! I did a quick Google search for some of the best burgers in Louisville, and Oskar's definitely delivered. Awesome craft beer selection, friendly and attentive staff, super fast service, and the food was delicious. I got the traditional cheese burger slider, the kale salad, and the fries with the smoked ketchup. The burger was thin, diner-style and nice and crispy (seriously, that's an awesome burger!) and the bun was lightly toasted. The fries were perfectly done, and the salad had the perfect amount of dressing. Can't wait to stop back on our next trip!

First of many visits here. The slider is probably the best slider I've ever had. The lamb taco thing was great for people who like lamb. The Wedge was phenomenal. Great across the board. Even the Iced Tea was on point. Even better? The service. Sat at the bar, chatted with the staff. They were friendly and answered questions and chatted with me. Just overall a great experience. It's by far the best restaurant in this area.

It's hard to rate under the current restrictions but I've beem going to Oskar's before that. They have a wide range of sliders. Only one cheese burger based which is tasty. I tend to go for the other choices though. I'm a big fan of the Halumi, venison, pot roast and corned beef, but I do try others. Food generally comes out quickly. For those interested, they have a large selection of beers including local/regional as well. Staff is friendly, and under current circumstances extremely considerate.

If you're looking to try a delicious twist on an American favorite, this is the place to go. It's tapas pricing though. The sliders can run about $3 to $5 a piece with the sides being a little cheaper. That being said, you will not be disappointed in trying the food and will leave full. I personally think the sliders are filling and only need two or three to be full. If you're in town visiting, this is definitely a place to stop in and try. Also, if you've been here a while and you haven't tried it, you're definitely missing out.

The food taste great! Service was decent. The food is a little overpriced for the amount you get, they charge for every little thing. Great beer selection, but way overpriced on most of the beers. People would be more apt to order a few beers with a meal if they didn't charge $5 plus for a "good" draft beer. A few sliders, a side, and a few beers and your looking at around $22-$30 a person. The ambiance of the interior is a little dark and dreary and looks as if they are still working on it. Outside, not much better. Not very inviting to the random person driving by that does not already know about the place. Not very much parking around lunch time as parking lot is shared with other daytime businesses. A little too trendy for this area. Not bashing the place, but they need to learn the area and the customer base for this area.

Not too shabby. The atmosphere is pretty cool, but the food was a little bit of a letdown. The server was very helpful with my special order (I have an egg allergy), which I greatly appreciate. Overall, I'd go back to drink and to have a snack, but maybe not for dinner. The best thing I ate was the reuben slider, but some of the sliders we tried were lacking moisture/sauce/cheese/etc.

My bill for 4 sliders and a soda was $17 and change. Add $3 for tip and you just dropped $20 on lunch. They weren't very filling and nothing to write home about. I went there on Thursday, January 24th to celebrate leaving my job and starting a new one with my coworkers. All of the food was amazing and all of the staff was on point. All of our orders were separate and came out correct. They have a large selection of sliders and sides and everything my table tried was superb. Their sliders are actually thick and filling, 3-5 is plenty for anyone, I am an over eater and 5 was a lot. I tried the fried chicken, buffalo chicken, pork belly, venison and pulled pork and all were incredible. The very next day I went back with one of my coworkers who couldn't make it the day before and I loved it just as much as the first day. THEN, today, I went there for the third day in a row for dinner to bring a friend and my fiance! That's how good it is! We sat at the bar this time. The bartender Patrick is very knowledgeable and professional and wonderful. He was training a girl named Melé, probably not spelling that right. She was wonderful too, please hire her! I will be back and I will recommend to everyone I meet! Buy the ghost chili mayo! You will not be sorry unless you suck at life :D

I am in from out of town with my friend, and this was one of the few restaurants still open after 9 that had vegetarian options. He is a meat eater, and we both loved it! The smoked halloumi sandwich was my favorite! The kale salad was excellent, as was the beet salad. My friend ate his two sliders while I was on the phone for 3 minutes, so they must have been delicious. We both had the mules made with the weird Polish liquor that I can't remember the name of, and they were so good! They even had malort, Chicago represent! My only complaint was that the veggie burger was missing a tangy or sweet element. It did not have a lot of flavor, but when I put the kale salad on it it was very tasty. The bartender who drums in a metal band took great care of us. If I lived here I would be a regular! Definitely give it a try! (after reading the previous review I would like to add that the menu was VERY reasonably priced--both booze and food!! I don't need massive portion sizes and I got to design my own dinner, which I LOVE, and it was only $8 sans drink. Unique recipes, quality ingredients, and variety?? Yes please! And I very much appreciate that they pay their employees well and give benefits! I will definitely be back next time I am in town!)

This place is owned by the same folks who own Grind, another really good spot in town, so you can expect tasty food creations.

It was an average experience. The servers weren't "over the top" good. In fact, my friend and I sat at our table for 10 minutes before anyone approached us. After bringing our drinks, another 15 or 20 minutes went by and we literally had to ask who our server was. When she finally came, she wasn't prepared with writing utensils for us to order. The food was good. We both had 3 sliders and a fry. I was still hungry when I left. But I'm a big eater. One more slider probably would have done the job but the kitchen was closed, so... Overall, it was an ok experience but I wouldn't be opposed to going back.

If you like to enjoy craft beers you will find a very large collection at Oscar's. Local beers are featured with different styles that are rotated. Just as the name implies Oscar's Slider Bar has delicious sliders and a great bar. Totally great experience.

Words cannot begin to describe Andrew and I just experienced... The food did your mouth water and eat three too many sliders because that's how good they are... Not to mention the price, how is it so inexpensive?! The halloumi, corned beef, buffalo chicken, fish and venison where are personal favorites. but you really can't go wrong with any slider you choose. Also, don't forget to order the $2.50 fries... They are delicious. The kale salad was my jam. I added it to the halloumi. We ended the meal with the carrot cake and carrot cake heaven. And it was pretty cool to find out that the baker is opening up a bakery next door... So anytime I am craving a delicious Scandinavian dessert we can hop on over to the bakery that will be opening in April May. I really appreciate the way that the owners modeled the restaurant in a Scandinavian fashion. Everything was created intentionally and with love. That is quite clear when entering. Staff was friendly, informative and passionate about Oskars. Thank is our new favorite restaurant in Lou!!!

Loooooved the food! I had the smoked halloumi and venison sliders with fries. The sliders were SO. GOOD. The fries were a little over cooked but I'm a soft fry kind of person so if you like your fries crunchy then you will probably like them. I also got some of the ghost chili mayo to try and put on my halloumi slider and it was amazing, not too spicy and so flavorful. Great beer selection too! Sliders and sides range from $2-4 so it's perfect for mixing and matching. Sauces are $0.50 each and I definitely recommend trying a few. Oskar's is owned by the same people who own Grind Burger so it's high quality, delicious food. It took a while for our food to come out but our waitress was charming and attentive so I didn't mind. Great food, great service, and a locally owned business. I can't wait to go back and try some other sliders!! Though that halloumi is callin my name so it'll be hard not to get that one again!

Very casual place, not trendy, prices are good. I had a fish sandwich and a cheeseburger. Everything is small, slider size, which is frustrating because the quality of their meat and fish is so good, it's a shame that they don't have larger options. The meat is natural, grass-fed beef from Fox Hollow Farms, which is great, but you can't hardly taste it because it's so small. In fact, the cheese overwhelmed the flavor of the meat. Besides that, the patty is so thin there is no other way to cook it other than well-done. What a waste of good beef, likewise for the fish. If the fish was a bigger filet it wouldn't have had a smaller percentage of fried coating. All that said, I'd go back again if I feel like a beer and a small amount of food.

Initial trepidation’s led to acceptance and love. I was disappointed when Oskars opened as it wasn’t Grind, our favorite burger place. But... after time, I’ve grown to love Oskars as a neat place to meet and hang out and have a tasty snack. It is not a “meal” place, but a social one. The food is fine and the bourbon selection is great. Go and just hang out before hitting the town or heading home. At least, unlike Grind, they have servers to take care of you if you’re at a table. That’s one they have up on their sister location.

Also, with the zoo so close to this location, some kid's options on the menu could go a LONG way for families visiting the nearby attraction. With some minor tweaks, this restuarant has the potential to be a neighborhood fav.

There are so many interesting choices of sliders. Our favorites were PotRoast, Corned Beef and (special) Mahi Mahi. Good prices. And desserts were yummy-BlackBerry & honey ice cream sandwich. We'll definitely go again.

There are fish, pork belly, lamb, ham, buffalo chicken and Scandenavian cheese sliders, 2.50 - 3.99ish each. Fish is particularly tasty. Sides include kale, bean and beet salads. A Scandenavian bakery/gift shop is sharing the space, but will open soon next door. We had an orange cake 3.99 and split it. Light whipped toping, hazelnuts, moist cake and thin crunchy peanut butter crust. Absolutely delicious!

I can see the reasons why they don’t have a phone number but please understand that it’s upsetting having no choice but to drive here to see if a seat is available for the next hour.
