Elegant atmosphere!! From the moment you walk through the door. Low lighting sets a Romantic mood. The service was great. Our food was well prepared and came out im a timely manner. The portions were big and very tasty 😋!! Another neat thing about Martinis is if you do not wish to dine in they offer plastic dining domes on the back patio. I give this restaurant my rating of 5 crown's👑👑👑👑👑.

Put ur Sundays best on, nice and clean.... As I wasn't aware 🤦🏾‍♀️ the food was ok, nice size portions but that lemon drop was EVERYTHING! My waitress Sapphire (I believe that was her name) she was awesome!

What a lovely restaurant! We had a party of 11 and all of us enjoyed our meals very much. I had the Tuscan Ribeye and it was super delicious. I liked the fact that they also had a great variety of food in the kid menu so my seven year old had the Cheese burger with fries and she enjoyed it too. The staff was very accommodating. By the time we set down on our table the bread and water was already on the table and the staff worked very fast to bring us drinks and take our orders. I am very pleased with Martini Italian Bistro and highly recommend it to all of you!! They truly deserve the 5-Star!!

What a find..this place is incredible. The pizza , the chicken parmesan! Jason at the bar makes the best drinks. Hand stuffed blue cheese olives for the Dirty Martin! Highly recommend this place. Will definitely eat here again on my next trip.

The food, ambiance (once you get pass the entry), and service was everything you want in a dining experience. Cody was an awesome server! The managers/kitchen staff were present and engaging. The chicken Fresca (w/blackened chicken at Cody’s recommendation) was EXCELLENT. The yummy martini summer punch is perfect for those who prefer a sweeter tasting cocktail! Complimentary bread - good Rigatoni Bolognese - good Broiled salmon - flavorful Pepperoni pizza - good Sausage Arrabbiata - underwhelming Calamari - tasty but chewy

Fantastic Lunch!! We had the fresh bread and olive oil, chicken carbonara, shrimp & lobster al forno, lasagna salsiccia, and finished with the “pisa” pie! Everything was Fantastic. Shout out to our great waiter Jacob, well done.

This place was good but not quite enough for five stars from me personally. My favorite thing was definitely the martini, but I felt the food was lacking a tad. The bruschetta was nice, but the main dish came off as just salty. There wasn't anything interesting about the pasta I got, even though it sounds like it would have more flavor. Regardless, I'd definitely go back to try other drinks. The jolly rancher martini- heck yes!

All I can say about this place is blackened chicken, blackened chicken, blackened chicken. I think about the blackened chicken way more than I should and I visit Martini way more than I should just for the chicken carbonara with a blackened chicken. I highly recommend everyone at least try it once.

I really enjoyed lunch today at this restaurant. It was amazing and I loved my Martini. The staff was nice and our server Alex was great! I will definitely come back again as the menu has so much to choose from. I also witnessed a couple that was terrible to another server and she handled it with such grace. Keep up the great service! The second we went in a week! Very nicely done interior and friendly staff. A large bar area plus a good sized dining area. Our waitress Sapphire was attentive and friendly. Food is excellent. Quick kitchen as well. Plan on reservations if possible as they do get packed!

I always have good service here, which is difficult to find in food service. The food is consistently good, and the menu has enough variety that almost anyone should be able to find something they like. If you are at the Paddock Shops and want to have a nice sit down meal, this place is a great choice. You might be tempted to go to Mitchell's Fish Market next door, let me save you the headache, DON'T. Eat at Martini's instead, it's so much better, as you'd be lucky to get someone to bring you a glass of water at Mitchell's...

We chose this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. The next time we visit Louisville we will choose a hotel close to this restaurant. Their lasagna is rates among the top 5 lasagna of all time. Fair warning if your want room for dessert share the lasagna with someone. The cocktails were also top quality.

Superb Italian fare with excellent service. The flavor in the food was exactly as it should’ve been, not overpowering and not too subtle. The ravioli had a delicate cream sauce with just the right amount of thickness and one of the best ravioli dishes I can recall ever having. Martini’s had the ambience and taste of a high end very expensive restaurant but with more reasonable prices. Worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking for excellent Italian food.

My family and I dined in at Martini Italian Bistro tonight and can not say enough good things about one of the managers, Moe. Moe was extremely friendly and personable, making my family and I feel welcomed. We walked in at around 6:30 without a reservation and sat at the bar. We ended up taking our food to go, and Moe couldn’t have been more kind and helpful with the situation. I can’t thank Moe enough for his outstanding customer service tonight.

Service was fast and great. The pasta was perfectly al dente with one of the most exquisite tomato sauce I've tried until now. Plate was generously served which I wasn't aware when I tried ordering an entree as well but the staff was friendly enough to talk me out of it and order a second dish only if I saw fit after the first one and I didn't need a second one indeed, but I would have loved to try the chicken I put my eye onto... Will definitely come back to try that one out. Thank you!

Everything was delicious! We had beef carpacio, salads, veal marsala, and Mediterranean Pasta. Our baby had butter pasta. We had spumoni for dessert! My only complaint is that it was VERY hot in the dining room, and I can't imagine how the kitchen felt. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. One of the chefs table touched and was very nice. Thank you :)

I have always been a fan of this place. I first came years ago, and hadn’t been back in probably a decade. It’s still really good Italian food. The atmosphere is nice and the staff friendly. The spaghetti and meatballs is hard to beat. Worth a visit.

Very good place. Nice ambiance and in excellent location in Paddock Shops Strip mall. Ample parking and great location. The restaurant has full team to welcome you and our server immediately let us know good tips like full day happy hour Mondays, Half off wine bottle Tuesday's and Bourbon discounts Wednesday, so right there are great good things. Arthur was professional, friendly and quick to serve us. The menu is ample and I need to be back and try a few more things. Chicken milanese was on the subtle flavor side, the wine recommendation was excellent! 👍 as was the house salad dressing was superb! Overall a great experience and I will go back to try other entrées. Fully following pandemic guidelines. 👍

Went to Martini for my love’s birthday last night and Valentine’s celebration. Our server, Kaya or Kaia (sorry if I’ve spelled it wrong), was the most amazing server we’ve ever met in our lives. She was very sweet, outgoing, cheerful, and just an outright freaking beautiful human. She would’ve turned my night around no matter what happened, she was seriously that good! Not to mention, she served us with an amazing dining experience, including the most delicious food and drinks that Louisville has to offer! Not my first time going to dine at Martini Italian Bistro, and certainly won’t be my last!!!

Only 4 stars. If you have Martini in your name, your martini should knock my socks off. It was tasty, but $9 a pop was steep in my opinion. The goat cheese appetizer was fabulous, the crostini served with it might require a trip to the dentist(rock hard). The bread and olive oil dip were good, but again, not the best I've ever had(Bella Notte for the win there). I ordered pomodoro with house salad. These were both wonderful portions and quite tasty. The secret house dressing was sweet with hints of spice (very low key, but certainly appealed to my taste buds). For dessert I give the creme brulee a 3 (very small serving, and needed a hint more of vanilla). Presentation was spot on. Ask for Shannon, she is a gracious server. I would go back, would definitely not do a full appetizer, salad, entree & dessert course without a friend or two to help! Other than dessert, portions were very generous.

Martinis is so good! We have never had a bad experience. Food is excellent. What is so great about this place is they will make anything for you and will substitute sides and change up the way the meal is prepared. And the drinks….oh so tasty!! The staff are attentive and the hosts are great!

We had a wonderful experience at Martini's last night. Our server Savannah was amazing and she made recommendations which were delicious. The experience was made even better by the manager Moe that was a total joy. It felt like everyone wanted to be there and provide the best food and service possible. I've been here many times. Usually get their scampi which is good. Had their pomodoro which was okay. Their salad was good too. Service was good as well Nothing special about this place but it's consistently solid everytime I go.

My husband took me to Martini's for my birthday. I love this restaurant because the food quality is always outstanding and their martinis are creative and tasty. My husband ordered one of their nightly specials, a pork chop, while I ordered a delicious Mediterranean pasta dish. I don't like pork, but after a taste of my husband's pork chop, I had wished I had ordered his dish instead. The chef came out to talk to his tables and wish me a happy birthday and the waiter presented me with a birthday card. It is amazing the service, food and atmosphere Martini's manages to create. I will keep going back.

The food was amazing and the location also. I enjoyed this tasty cheese ravioli. In a comparison to the lasagne only a very small plate ;-) but definitely enough. You guys should offer Birra Moretti for my italian food soul. The service was a bit busy at this day, so we had to wait always a long time between getting seated - drinks - food - ... and also they forgot about the bread, what we asked multiple times for. If this would be better, this is absolutely a 5-star location.

This was my first time here and we absolutely loved it. This was one of the very few times I have been out to eat where all my food came out perfectly and tasted so good. The food was affordable the atmosphere was great. We only found this place my usual Italian restaurant had closed. It was well worth the drive and I will be returning.

Went with a party of 8. Service was impeccable. The waitress was funny and really on point with everything. The manager was so friendly and even made the proper assumption that some people in my party, religiously, could not eat pork and came out to let us know prior to the appetizers coming out. Can’t give them enough stars. Moreover, the food was impeccable. Lasagna was a huge portion and just amazing. The mussels were so tasty. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the United States that I’ve been to. Extremely authentic. Highly highly recommend not just for the food but the incredible service. Have to stress out great the manager was. Very friendly and more importantly can read his customers and anticipate what they’d like.

It was Mother's Day so maybe that was an issue. On a positive note, we were seated on time and the portions are very generous. Unfortunately 3 of the 4 meals were quite cool when they arrived and the seasoning was a bit bland. Everyone was working very hard and I would try again on a different day. I know how hard it is to keep things staffed these days, so I encourage others to give them a try.

We were passing through and felt a little under dressed for a Sunday afternoon. But the service was great and food was delicious. We split the zucchini fries, each had a salad, and a pasta dish. Good portions too!

Delicious food for many budget types. When we walked in, there was a lady playing the piano with some gentle toons in the bar. We got seated immediately and was greater by our waiter (Savannah) quickly. She was great the entire night. The food was great and we took enough home for another meal.

I've eaten at Martini several times and loved the experience each time. It's perfect for a dinner date. They also have space for larger parties. Recently, we had lunch catered at our office and it was amazing even with the 30 minute commute time. My favorite is lasagna with the Martini house salad - so so delicious! Really enjoyed coming here for my 30th birthday. I had veal parmesan, which was nice and crispy, while he had chicken carbonara that he said was tasty. Our drinks were good, and the tiramisu that we split was delicious. The bread tasted fresh, the ambiance was enjoyable and I could see myself coming back again. Our waitress seemed rushed, but attentive and we never wanted for anything.

One in particular was very disappointed with the lasagna, saying it was very dry. Have had better experiences there in the past.

Service was incredible, and the martini's were outstanding, however the food not so much. I am not a chef, but I certainly know how over powering shalots are and I had a mound of them covering my entire plate! The chicken was tasteless as well once I picked off a few pounds of shalots. My wife had the bolognaise and it was underwhelming as well. At the price point this restaurant is at we can't give it a second chance, sorry and we really hoped to like it there.

I sat at the bar traveling on business solo. I was greeted by excellent customer service and to follow was fantastic and delicious food. I enjoyed the salmon which literally melted in your mouth. The house salad was incredibly delicious and not to be missed. I was very close to ordering dessert but will power took over but I'm sure they would have been worth it. Highly recommend in every way.

Martinis is an all around GREAT restaurant. Their menu is fantastic and covers all the Italian fare. I typically get seafood and pasta and it is always very well prepared. This restaurant just gets better with age. The owners and managers are true professionals.

Great food and the service was great. The Chef will occasionally walk around and welcome you there. The Lasagna is the best my wife and I have had. The house salad is simple but the house dressing makes it outstanding. Oh, and the Martini’s are always good....especially at happy hour. My wife’s favorite place!

This is easily one of my favorite places to eat EVER the service is always excellent, the food is high quality and makes you dream about it. No offense to Olive Garden but I will never spend another dime there as long as this place stands. Everything I’ve ordered comes cooked to perfection and I’m currently here for my second day in a row. Took wifey out Mother's day weekend and enjoyed ourselves. This was out second time at this establishment. First time was back in 2016 I believe. Clean restaurant, staff was wonderful, Drinks and Food on point. I had shrimp scampi and she had lobster rigatoni pasta. Great place for date night!

My husband and I sat out on the patio. The indoor decor was beautiful, and the patio atmosphere was very nice. Inside was pretty chilly, so we wanted to sit in the warmer weather. Our server was very kind. We were waiting for our food for about 30 minutes, and the waitress came out and told us that our bill would be 0 because of the wait. We got our food about 10-15 minutes later. The food was SO delicious! It was very fancy and my plate was portioned well. We would definitely come here again.

I love Martini's. Their food is very good. I have had a wide range of food there, from pizza to pasta amd even most recently a ribeye. I have never been disappointed. The food may fall a little short of Vincenzos or a higher end steak place, but you will Dave a lot of money, and the difference between those places and Martini's is marginal.

Martini's customer service and food are excellent. Highly recommend this Italian restaurant for dining in, carry out, and catering. Our office has had Martini's cater some events and the food is always delicious. The lasagna, Chicken fettucine alfredo, and salad have those homemade authentic flavors. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

We really like this place! I have never had anything here that I didn’t like. My favorites are the Baked Goat Cheese appetizer, Chicken Milanese, and the Caprese Salad. The focaccia bread and oil is also quite delicious! Service is always outstanding!

My son and I went there for an early birthday dinner for me and we sat outside in the pods. They were pleasantly comfortable, the food was fantastic, and we watched them wipe down the pods in between the patrons. I cannot recommend them enough if you want to go to dinner and be safe!!

Food was very good, but service was horrible. It took our waitress 20 minutes to bring bread to the table on a night when they were not busy. We were short a place setting and plate. How hard is it to count to six? Water glasses were never refilled. Our waitress was nice, but inattentive. We could see her talking to other employees and had to ask other wait staff to send her to our table. I rarely post negative reviews, but management really needs to step up and focus on better service. I will end this by saying again, the food was really good. Our thanks to the chef and kitchen staff!

We had a good experience on a Friday evening date night. We did the zucchini fries and the complementary bread to get started. Both were excellent. My wife had the penne rosa and loved it. I had the lasagna and it was fine. I liked it, but the penne rosa was way better. The service was amazing...fast and friendly. We will go back. Id recommend Martini to my friends, but you might want to avoid the lasagna.

Very nicely decorated and in a great location. Menu is large with vegetarian options. Moderately priced menu. I found the food to be mediocre at best. I ordered a vegetable dish and it was extremely greasy. The polenta was quite good. Overall, the service and the food were just okay. Nothing spectacular and I wouldn't eat here again.

The food is amazing and even the cocktails are reasonably priced. The wait stuff is somewhat amateur but it's a weird time with covid happening. This is a nice formal place to eat. The atmosphere is upper, upper middle class and relatively formal without crossing the uncomfortable line.

Josie was wonderful server and took care of us all evening. My wife had the Chicken Fresco, having it prepared "blackened" is a great choice. I had my usual veal parmesan and broccoli. Before dinner we had the carpaccio, then we split a peach crumble dessert afterwards. My wife had a black coffee, and I had the "six grape port" dessert wine. We keep coming back, because we are never disappointed.

I have there in there about 3 times on 45 days to pick up a lunch carry out. I specifically ask the order taker to make sure to put utensils in my order just to find out they did not. Next orders the same thing--the person at register gives me my order and all they do is watch to see how much of a tip I will leave. I always leave a good tip because I worked for tips at one time...but management needs to address this. The cooks do all the work...all the cashier needs to do is ring up the order for payment. You would think they could put the utensils in the bag.

Atmosphere was wonderful! Portion sizes are a little small especially on the add on $4 salad. But the service was terrible. Was waited on, had drinks served and ordered dinner and never saw the waitress again. Drink refills were never offered, dirty plates were not removed from table and dessert menu not offered. When our meal was finished, after waving at least 10 minutes or more, husband finally found manager to get check so we could leave.

Great food! As their website says, it's a from scratch kitchen, meaning dishes are highly customizable! They certainly specialize in drinks, but the atmosphere is also fine for children, although I probably wouldn't bring children who would cry, as a parent of a 20 m/o and a 2 m/o I would feel awkward bringing my kids. But if there were older, around 5, I would be just fine. Service is a little slow. But if you don't mind a little wait then this is a great local dig.

Our server was extremely attentive and very polite. The food was good, but not quite as good as I anticipated based on what I had heard. The calamari was a little strange and I probably wouldn't order it again. Our bruschetta, though it had generous potions and amount of toppings, it felt just a little clunky and was more like eating a biscuit with bruschetta style toppings. It was a little awkward to split between the four of us as it comes with three large pieces. The entrees were all fairly good and the nice thing is that you can freely modify any order to your liking as they make it on the spot. For instance, one of us ordered the pasta rosa and substituted the garden tomatoes for sun-dried and the grilled chicken for the parmesan crusted chicken. Overall would recommend as we had a great experience, just don't get the calamari lol.

First and foremost, they offer the best homemade bread along with real olive oil to start with! On a Sunday evening we decided to eat a nice Italian pasta. We were disappointed, because their pastas are heavy in taste, even the one with veggies. Too many sauces over rich dairy that ruin the authentic flavors... They were short on servers so we were waiting a long time to order. Also, our server didn't check back on us after the food runner brought our plates. I guess she was very busy doing something else. But we needed a second drink, so we were constantly looking for our server. Then we ordered a dessert, which it was very tasty , yet so pricy for the amount we got. I've been there 5times. Only one out of five we had an attentive service. I hope management will take this under consideration.

Overall this place is decent. From the look of the decor, patrons, and menu prices, I was expecting someplace better or on par with Bonefish grill or Carrabba's. It wasn't, overall. Some things on the menu looked fantastic (lasagna was insane!) but mostly under delivered. They have excellent drinks. The bar area is nice. There was someone playing piano very well when I've been there. The atmosphere is good. The wait staff is great as well.

What a delightful dinner. We went with 3 other friends and all of us enjoyed our dishes. Plus the server was soo good ..she never missed a beat and went out of her way to make sure everything was to our liking. I ventured out from my usual dinner and had a delicious salmon pasta dish I highly recommend it had a fruit cream sauce but it was just like a very light Alfredo sauce very light and it was delicious. And it was a large enough portion I was able to take it half home and have another meal from it.

Food was great but our server was rude. Kept walking away when we were talking to her and didn't check on us once except to bring the drinks and then the food. When it came time to pay we asked to split the bill in half. Again she didn't come back for a while even though we were her only table. We asked to pay half on card and half with cash. She used alot more on than half on the card and didn't bring back our change which would have been $15.

You had us at the olive oil so We thought. He salad was good but did a slight bit more dressing. The flavors worked well together. Had the baked lobster/shrimp dish. Was hoping for more cheese and bread crumbs on it but both were lacking so the top layer of pasta was hard n crusty. The cream sauce was good and once you got to the bottom was soft and there was a good amount of lobster pieces. The spaghetti and meatballs was also ordered and the sauce had a bit of different taste not just a can of sauce flavor. It was good overall. I was tempted to get a dessert but I didn’t even look at the options. Would consider getting different entrees. It’s not the best place but not the worst. It was better than just ok, I hope that sums it up.

I love Martinis , the food and atmosphere are both outstanding. However customer service leaves a lot to be desired. My husband and I went there two weeks ago and waited 15 minutes at the table never even acknowledged until I said something to a manager, then the rest of the night was great. We went back again yesterday only this time for lunch at 1:30. There was only about six other tables with customers. We waited about ten minutes at the hostess station and no one ever came or acknowledged us so I asked a waitress if we needed to seat ourselves and she said she would set us . We then waited another 15 minutes at the table in the middle of the restaurant where everyone was walking by and again no one said a word to us until I finally stopped a waitress and she went and got someone to take our order. As much as I love the food something better change or we will find somewhere else to eat.

The chicken could have been a bit juicier.. but the sauce made up for it. Always have a good experience here. The cool thing about Martini is how flexible they are with dishes. Since everything is made to order, you have free range to customize your dish however you want. Wanna swap out sausage for chicken in your penne dish? No problem! We had our rehearsal dinner here, and everything was we received by all our guests.

If I could give half stars I would give 3.5 stars. The service was good, my server Sydney was very nice, not over attentive but I never felt forgotten either. The $5 martini list during happy hour is really good and extensive. The food I felt was just ok. (The reason for the lower rating). Nothing bad but nothing that was super delicious either. I’ve definitely had better Italian food. Atmosphere was great, nice patio. Definitely worth a visit to enjoy the martinis.

I was very disappointed! I chose this place for our Anniversary last night and had a very bad experience. It took forever to get our drinks. I had no eating utensils. Never received our appitizer and I had to ask for bread before our meal arrived because we were starving. My chicken marsala was just ok. My husband's lasagna was good. Wished I had ordered spaghetti or something else. Probably won't go back.

We take advantage of their outside seating arrangement which we feel is safer than inside seating. Then, of course, there is the menu... This was our first time eating from here. Unfortunately with COVID we opted for a delivery option through Grubhub. Somewhere along the lines there was an issue and the order was cancelled with Grubhub be we were still eager to try it anyway. I was able to place a successful order with Slice via Google. I arrived a little earlier than the estimated time and my order was ready. The girl at the front counter wasn't the most friendly individual but it was a brief encounter. My wife had the three cheese ravioli and I had the shrimp pappardelle. Both dishes were presented neatly (which is tough to do on carry out orders). The ravioli was actually pretty beautiful (as far as food goes). The flavors were extraordinary, the ravioli had a nice crisp layer on top with a well balanced flavor of garlic and many others. Overall I was pleasantly impressed and look forward to returning to sit down in the future to enjoy the full experience.

The wait staff spent more time standing around in back, talking and laughing than they did waiting on people. Took a LONG time to get our drinks. I got the eggplant parmesan sandwich. We came down to Louisville to meet up with our daughter who is serving in the military. Since it was also her birthday we wanted to take her out to dinner so she chose Italian food. What a great place. We went here in a Sunday, no reservations and we were taken right away. We sat outside and it was very pleasant and comfortable with the ceiling fans. They have a large selection of wines to choose from if you wish to order. Our waiter, Arthur, was very nice and explained how the foods were prepared and could be made to order. Home made bread and dipping oil was served, too. We shared a prosciutto melon appetizer which was perfect for three. I had the veal parm, my wife a chicken dish, my daughter the shrimp pappardelle. Plenty of food for everyone. They then surprised the birthday girl with a peanut butter, fudge, ice cream pie that was spectacular. What a great experience. Thanks!!

My wife and I have wanted to go to Martini for quite a while, but only recently had the opportunity. We were able to be seated quickly and our server was very attentive. She made great drink recommendations and we enjoyed our bourbon martinis (which were on special). Our house salad was great! Things were looking good. Then our entrees came out. Fast. Too Fast. As in "they probably reheated something old" fast, and that is exactly how it tasted. My eggplant was tough and took lots of work to cut through the skin (the flavor was ok). My wife had chicken Milanese and that chicken had to have been sitting in a fridge for a week or so. It just tasted stale. Pasta was a tad overcooked too. Maybe I just caught them on an off night. I know this place is often packed, but if the food is always that bad I have no idea why. I certainly won't be returning any time soon.

I have been here two times both have been absolutely terrible. I ordered the Pasta Rosa, the first and second visit...Supposedly there house favorite I don't see how any human could consume this trash.. the chicken was tasteless and hard to chew, don't know if it was frozen or re-heated but i didn't eat it, the server did not even return to ask if everything was alright. Sorry to say it but olive garden is much better and cheaper. The only positive part about the experience was the drinks, they were amazing but sadly i can not return to this place due to how poorly the food was both times. Can't say i did not give this place a chance... Oh well..

First time trying this restaurant. My server was John H., who was great. He was a welcome knowledge and recommendations that were 100% on point. He recommended the Broiled Salmon with asparagus and parmesan mashed potatoes and it was delicious! The potatoes will put weight on you so I only ate half of them. But I recommend you should forget about the calories and eat them all. Sooo good! I was amazed with the taste and the flavor my salmon had. Every item blended together so well that it melted in your mouth. John H. was very helpful and made a boring dinner spectacular with his knowledge of the menu and openness to recommend a delicious dinner.

Went here on a Sunday night. Plenty of open tables but we were told there would be a 15-20 minute wait. The bar has tables and open seating so we opted for that. Probably not a good idea as the bartender was the only serving in that area. As more people took seats in the bar area, he became overwhelmed and service became slow. The food was average for Italian, on par with Olive Garden but more expensive. The drinks are very good and average $10 each. The many drink options are the draw here. If you are into the cosmo drinking scene, you coukd do better else where.

I had hoped to give this place at least 4 stars. Based on my last visit from a year ago, I was really looking forward to dinner with my husband on our anniversary. Lighting is a little too dim with some lights in the main dining room fixtures not working. Hostess couldn't wait for us to be seated to hand us our menus & she laid them on top of our bread plates - wrong! I started with a Caesar salad which was very good. Chicken Marsala is a dish I have had many times at other Italian restaurants, but what I had today was nothing like I've tasted before. I do not recommend it...very little chicken on a lot of pasta. My husband's Chicken Carbonara was delicious & extremely rich. We shared Tiramisu for dessert. It was good, but not much substance (small in a martini glass) & also not like any tiramisu I've ever had. Thought dessert may be given to us since we were celebrating our anniversary & braved a bad storm to get there. The women's restroom needs attention. No hook in the stall I used for my purse. Toilets were NOT clean. Lighting could be improved in the restroom. Over all - not a good anniversary dinner.

My boyfriend took me here on Valentine’s Day and when we walked in the door and approached the host, we were met with pure rudeness. I’ve been a host for the past 3 years at multiple restaurants from sports bars to fine dining and regardless of the class of the restaurant I was trained to always greet people as soon as they walked in the door and show them respect. This host was a middle aged woman and I would assume that she would know a thing or two about customer service. She was looking down at her computer for about 35 seconds to a minute and my boyfriend and I were looking at each other like “is she gonna greet us? Does she even realize we’re here?” She finally looked up (completely ignoring me) at my boyfriend and says “hi” with a forced smile. The host is the face and representation of the restaurant and this woman failed to give this place a good first impression. Everything else was great but I wish she wasn’t the first person we encountered.

This is a very nice sit down (but not so fancy you can't go on jeans) Italian Restaurant. They are also very good about providing gluten free choices, including pasta. The service is usually very good and the ambiance is pleasant. Try the Salmon Pasta...it sounds odd, but it is delicious!

Great Entree, Sub Par Salad, Slow Service While the main entree was vey nice, I was surprised by the accompanying Cesar Salad being super small, not quite crisp romaine, and on a warm plate. Add in table service that was slow and forgetful, the place isn't worth the hype. Could've been so much better. Doubt we'll return as there's too many other good places in the area to choose from.

Our first dining experience at Martinis was wonderful! Alex was the perfect waiter. We had martinis, bread and zuccini fries to start. Alex helped with my entree choice of the lobster - shrimp pasta dish with the house salad. Kenny had the lasagna! Both were very good! We split a tiramisu for dessert. It came garnished with chocolate and an orchid! I felt like we were in Oahu again! We will go back and I will recommend Martinis and Alex to my friends and you!!

I've eaten here twice and both meals were amazing. The first was a prix fixe menu for a party, so amazing we scheduled a trip back to dine from the main menu. Chicken Carbonara is tremendous. The Tuscan Ribeye is no slouch either! The drinks hold their own as well. Service during second trip was lax on the waiter's part, but the maitre D' and chef made up for it by following up with us. The only item that needs attention is the bread - it has a bitter bite to it, which is acceptable, but the crust of the bread is not toasted crisp enough. Regardless, the bread will not keep me from visiting again.

Fun and tasty place for a night out with friends. Most of the wait staff are fantastic and helpful. Sometimes a bit slow when it is super busy - the management should hire more servers for their busy times! Not the servers fault so continue to tip well.

I usually hit the bar around 5:30. Some bartenders are great and keep an eye on who’s next and when a refill may be in order. Tonight’s male bartender failed to make eye contact and greet guests and apparently feels he needs to take care of the female patrons before the male. Doesn’t matter that I had been sitting there ten minutes or that the two gentlemen next to me had been there about five minutes, he waited on the two women who just sat down at the bar. I got up and left...

As was mentioned by others, the bread is outstanding....soft, unlike the crusty, hard bread you typically get in Italy. Actually my favorite part of the meal! The chicken carbonara was really good, although the portion size is smaller than what you might get at competing Italian restaurants.

Martini is awesome, the servers are very knowledgeable and excellent at what they do. Jim Davis, the former general manager, purchased martini from Cameron Mitchell restaurants on 11.1.11 and every since, quality has continued to increase. The bar is an awesome place to hang out. They've added a baby-grand piano which provides the bar with exceptional live music on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The menu of martinis is HUGE, with a little something for everyone. They're only 5 bucks all night on Mondays, and from 4-7 tues-Thursday. From start to finish, eating a meal here is money well spent. Portions are large and the food always comes out hot and in a timely fashion at which the server will offer to top off your dish with as much fresh parmesan cheese as you want. I love this place. Don't miss out on eating at martini.

Everything I had was AMAZING. Way better than Vincenzos on 5th and Market. The goat cheese appetizer was mind blowing. The shrimp garganelli was also very very good. The risotto was so-so (probably because it takes a long time to cook, you are better off doing it at home). The chocolate cake and creme brulee were also phenominal. They came with edible flowers. Very nice presentation. I highly highly suggest this place! I would say its the best Italian in town.
