Great new family spot for my sons and I. Introduced my 13 year old to Calamari and now he is addicted. All of our entrées were good. We chose lasagna, Shrimp Scampi and Chicken Parmigiana.

You can’t beat DiFabio’s! Tonight, they provided a great Christmas Eve dinner. The service is top notch. Their staff is accommodating and friendly. Their portions are huge, delicious, freshly made. Not to mention, the price point is great. Thanks DiFabios for making our holiday special!!

This cozy spot is perfect for a casual, delicious Italian meal. The food is authentic homemade Italian. Dinner for 6, or dinner for 2, it's just right. The atmosphere is warm and friendly.

Terrific food! Solid wine list, and some very nice specialty drinks. Relaxed family friendly atmosphere but nice enough for a date night. Our only minor complaints were the lack of parking, we had to park several blocks away, and service was a bit slow. Servers were very friendly but appeared to be short handed. As to the food, the bruschetta was different but excellent. Likewise, with the caprese pasta and shrimp. The veal marsala was exceptional, probably the best we have ever had. An all around great experience.

My date and I neither one are huge pasta fans but so much wanted to visit DiFabio's Casapela because it seems so quaint and inviting from the outside. The evening we visited we sat on the porch, which had been enclosed and had a space heater. The setting and ambiance were ideal. We ordered as an appetizer the calamari fritti. It was tasty. My date ordered the veal marsala with the mushroom, Marsala wine and cream sauce served over angel hair pasta. I ordered grilled aioli salmon with sauteed squash and zucchini. I thoroughly enjoyed my vegetables which were perfectly cooked, and I enjoyed the taste of the salmon which was presented with an excellent temperature and a rewarding taste. My date felt the veal was undercooked so sent it back to be cooked longer and upon receiving it the second time was satisfied. However, either because she and I are not familiar with the dish or otherwise, we felt the sauce had been cooked too long and left an unpleasant almost bitter taste to the her Marsala veal meal - and that was even before she sent it back. She felt the sauce ruined the meal even when the veal she thought was undercooked. My date ate her dinner reluctantly only not to waste it, but it was not a pleasant experience for her. I, too, did not enjoy the taste of her meal and I felt bad for her. We were both very hungry upon arriving to DiFabio's Casapela. She asked that we order tiramisu so she could have a good taste to close out her meal, but we were both disappointed with the tiramisu because it tasted as though it had been frozen and then thawed too quickly and had kind of a watery texture with the cake cookies that was not typical of the tiramisu she and I typically very much enjoy. I did thoroughly enjoy my meal but I cannot say the same about my date - maybe it's because we don't know just how the Masala dish is supposed to taste.

I should have taken a pic. I forgot. But next time I will. I had the best steak I have ever had in my life!! I was sooo beyond amazed and each person at my table tried it and was like omg it is sooooo good!! It has a cream sauce under it and gorgonzola cheese crumbles and roasted zucchini squash. Oh lord it was soooo perfect 🥰 💞. I have raved about it to anyone that would listen today lol and so has my friend. 10000 % recommended to anyone!!!

My husband and I were hungry for Italian and there was a fancy expensive place across the street, but it was full. Thankfully, we went here instead. The service was personable and attentive. It was small, but cute and cozy. I loved sitting by a bookshelf and could just pull books off to browse. The food was beyond our expectations. Gemelli pasta with tomatoes, basil and mozerella balls was paired with delicious perfectly grilled shrimp. I had lasagna. It was perfect and I could only eat half. Even the house salad was special with red wine vinegar house dressing. Oh, and perfect calamari with two dipping sauces. Just try it! So many good options!

We had 5:30 reservations for 6 at DiFabio’s Casapela on Saturday August 6, prior to the play “Anastasia “ at the Center for the Arts. The food was good as usual and our server was doing a nice job, even though the kitchen was a little slow due most likely to the restaurant beginning to fill. As we were nearing completion of our meal, the server told us that the next group with reservations for our table was waiting to be seated. We were only there for 90 minutes and we’re almost finished, even though the kitchen had been slow in getting out our appetizers and main courses. We were a bit shocked that our server would basically ask us to leave. We didn’t make reservations for that table, we made reservations for six people. If they want to turn over their tables faster, they need to get the food out quicker. However; I would think that 90 minutes is not a long time for six people having wine, appetizers and a main course, especially in light of a slow kitchen. We still like DiFabio’s and are likely to return, but this young gentleman server needs to learn from this experience. His tips would have been twice as much if he had not been so discourteous.

Located in a historical site of one of Louisville's original toll road offices, this quaint and cozy treat offers true authentic Italian cuisine at an extremely affordable price. Escargot is delectable, Alfredo is best in town and you haven't lived until you have tried the pink sauce. One of the only locations offering my favorite noodle, gemelli. Looking forward to dining there again soon.

Waiter was understanding and catered to our hearing impaired accommodation of bringing down his mask when he spoke so we could read his lips. Lasagna was so cheesy and flavorful, calamari has some tomato and a cream sauce on the side that was tangy and it was seasoned extremely well. Veal Parmigiano was so darn good crispy and huge. Small restaurant with limited seating but everyone there from the hostess to the waiter and even just a worker passing by on our way out was nice. Valentines weekend was a success. Thank you.

This is a favorite destination when visiting Louisville KY. Delicious fare, the service is warm and caring, I strongly urge a visit.

Romantic dinner great food, drinks, and service. Just say yes to the dessert even if you take it to go!
Eric Marcum
Food was good, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly. No complaints, but also didn't knock my socks off. I do think $7 is a bit much for small piece of garlic bread with cheese on it and marinara to dip in.
Melanie Y
Really tasty Italian food, cozy atmosphere and warm and friendly service. Everything that is supposed to be hot comes out nice and hot. Having dinner here is a really nice experience. Highly recommend.
Ed Silver
Went w friends and we all liked the food and service. Small wine list w good low priced selections and nice looking cocktail list too. We had salmon, filets prepared two dif ways and chicken Marsala. Everyone loved the entrees, salad and the tiramisu for dessert was on point! I will definitely go back. The prices were reasonable too.
Alan McDaniel
Food was fantastic as were the beverages. We will definitely be putting this in our rotation.
Ryan
Very good Italian restaurant! Indoor and outdoor front patio seating options Parking is limited.

Ordered to-go. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. I think just about everyone there asked if I had been helped while I was waiting. The environment was delightful, for the time I was there. The food was absolutely phenomenal. We ordered angel hair with pink sauce and mozz balls and angel hair with alfredo, chicken and a filet with a side of garlic bread. Lemme tell you, I have never had a more tasty, melt in your mouth steak, or pasta that gives your tastebuds such a delicious flavor punch. A bottle of moscato was included in our to-go meal as one of their special deals. I’ve never been happier with a to-go order from anywhere. It is well worth it. 12/10 HIGHLY recommend!

The food and staff are amazing. Building is old, but has lots of character. Best Italian food I've had in a long time.
Muan
Great food and service! Grilled salmon and garlic bread for dinner. Def. Will be back for more!
Cyndi Nitzken
Loved the food had a great server but she was so busy we had to ask for things several times. THEN, came the check on. POS that was very strange and confusing to us even though we all 3 are computer savvy. At the top of the screen was a total that was preferred and had a 40% tip . We figured it out but our son's meal was actually around $20, yet he did not quite understand the screen and ended up paying $35. It was confusing and quite scamish. We loved the food but won't be back.

This place is about a 1/2 mile from us. We love it!!! Great prices and the best lasagna you can get for the money. I would pay $25 for it. A huge dish for $15 is incredible. My wifes dish (pasta w/ chicken) was also very good. Fun small romantic spot that won't break the budget.
Greg
Great food, great service, and reasonable prices! My gf and I love this place and will keep coming back!
Justin Guest
We had an incredible experience! It was our first time at DiFabio’s. The service was outstanding and the food was excellent. The best place to get Italian food in Louisville. We will make this our go to for Italian restaurants.
Jennifer Hauser
First time eating here and the food was delicious! Tasty sauce served with the salmon dish, flavorful pesto and eval. The calamari app was very fresh. However, our server could have been more attentive. We were served water, but not asked if we would like any other beverages. We were also not offered any coffee or desert. The restaurant was not crowded, but we sat waiting for quite a while after we finished our meal with the server nowhere in sight. When he did appear I had to catch his attention and ask for the check
A Scott
I really think this is truly the best Italian food I have eaten in Louisville. The bread is unbelievably delicious! It’s crisp, buttery, and garlicky on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. It really is the best Italian bread I’ve had at any restaurant...it’s even better than my mom’s.
The dishes I have enjoyed include the Shrimp Scampi pasta and the lasagna. Both were to die for! The shrimp scampi was fresh and tasty. The lasagna had loads of delicious seasoning with ample smothering of Mozzarella cheese. I really like chess, so that that t was awesome!
The only downside was the service. I can’t complain too much, but I had to ask both times for more bread. A good waiter/waitress sees the need and addresses the need for the best garlic bread in Lou immediately. We asked for both refills.
It’s delicious!
Samantha Velasco
So delicious I cannot even put it into words really. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms(made with a vegetarian stuffing that I will honestly be dreaming about) ceasar salad, chicken marsala (to die for, truly) and the lasagna (nonna's recipe, i mean enough said) and a few Bourbon Peach Sangrias to round out our meal and I have to say it is the best meal I have had in Louisville. Best Italian food I have had here by far. We're already planning to come back next weekend to try the chicken parmesan and the tiramisu (we were too full for dessert!)
Martin Ward
Always a truly wonderful dining experience. The food and staff are always friendly and efficient and we will continue to go back. We did dine outside and it was wonderful and again the staff was very attentively and kind. Keep up the good work.
Shon Bz
Took my girlfriend for her birthday and it was great! The atmosphere was awesome, and the food even better. Staff was super friendly too.
Laurie Wilmes
The food is always good! We started with the stuffed mushrooms, a favorite. My husband loves the pink sauce and the meatballs and I'm partial to the manicotti. Our friends loved the chicken parmesan and veal parmesan dishes. I ordered the Caprese pasta dish with shrimp this time but I'm going back to the manicotti.
Our server, Carmen, was attentive, helpful and fun.
Here's where they get docked a star: We made reservations for 5. We were seated at a tiny, approximately 3'x3' square table and had to pull up an extra chair. We finished our salads with our bowls in hand because there was barely room on the table for the entrees and drinks. Since we ordered an appetizer everyone had to grab their bread so we could ditch the bread basket to have room for the appetizer dish. We are accommodating folks and joked and made the best of it. We surely didn't feel like we had been accommodated and had even commented to the hostess that we were 5 full sized adults, 2 of the men needing plenty of elbow room! And then to bring over an aluminum patio chair for the biggest of us all. He swapped the chair out for something more substantial and we never saw the hostess again.
Diana Merritt
One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Louisville. What they do with zucchini, mushrooms, and squash (veggies for the build your own pasta) is nothing short of magical. Curbside pickup was easy as pie, everything packaged neatly and was still hot when we got home!
Patrick Williams
DiFabio's is a great local place that serves great food without crazy prices that you'll find at a lot of other good local eateries. Not saying those other places aren't worth it, but DiFabio's serves up a great meal for a reasonable price. You can create your own pasta dish to get exactly what you want, which was perfect for my wife. I had the filet gorgonzola and it was creamy and cooked just like I'd asked. As an unexpected bonus we got a free bottle of wine for hitting a certain price point (which was super reasonable). They answered the phone right away, had the food ready on time, and gave us great service and great food.
Dennis Horn
First time to visit for dinner and the food was pretty good--not great, but okay. Staff was friendly enough. My friend got the salmon and it was good, especially the sauce that came with the fish. I tried their shrimp scampi and it was strange. Baked with bread crumbs on top, which over time, turned the dish into more of a shrimp porridge. Good taste but strange texture that I did not care for. I'd try them again though.
Anna P
Food was good, but i thought they were skimpy on the meat. It took several bites of my entree before I actually found any sausage, and there wasn't a lot of it once I did find it. The bread was excellent, as was the flourless torte, and our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Tammy Mitchell
Wonderful food and service. The stuffed mushrooms was amazing. Our waiter was the best very polite and attentive. He made lots of suggestions and gave us wine to sample. We will be back . what a wonderful first experience there.
Meg Weathers
Great Italian food, I especially enjoyed the Caeser salad. Unfortunately we waited for about 45 m for dine in service but I was told they had a crazy amount of take out orders and I'm not sure if they're short staffed due to Covid. Overall would still go back as I think that was unusual and the food is very good.
Janie Craven
There was a party of 5. New waitress (Theresa) and she was wonderful.! Kept our glasses full of beverage, no mix up on our orders and actually spoke and joked with us, unlike so many places where the employee acts like they don't want to be there. Hope her experience was as good as ours. Love the atmosphere there. Cozy , nice music....ITALIAN !!!😊

Super impressed with everything that we ate that evening, which was our anniversary. We wanted to try the escargot appetizer, unfortunately they were already sold out. However, the calamari fritti was exceptionally good, very lightly breaded, tossed with banana peppers and sundried tomatoes. I had never had fried calamari that way and we both really enjoyed it. The bread that came out was light on the inside and had a nice crust. My wife got the Caprese Pasta with Shrimp which had a very nice sauce, the shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the balsamic reduction set it all off. I decided to give the Grilled Aioli Salmon a try. My fish, was again, cooked perfectly and the sauteed Zucchini and Squash was not overcooked, they still had a little bite to them. My only complaint would be that I wanted a little more of the vegetables, as I seemed to run out of those a little over halfway being done with the salmon. Since it was our anniversary my wife decided to try the flourless chocolate fudge cake, which was divine. Every part of our meal was brought out very quickly and served piping hot, with the exception of the cake of course. We will definitely be going back to try the escargot, but there were a number of other menu items that caught our eyes. I highly recommend giving DiFabio's a try.
Michaela Montgomery
Absolutely fabulous experience and ambiance. Very intimate with limited seating and a dimly lit old Italian kind of vibe. I had the Fabio filet and it was tender and full of flavor. The bread alone was worth the trip, great flavor and texture. My server was very attenative and helpful with the menu and specials and when I couldn't find a cocktail I liked on the drink menu she had the bar tender throw one together for me with the things I like in it. Can't wait to go back here again, highly recommend it for a special occasion or date night.

This place is a gem in Louisville that is hard to find. The family-owned home-cooked Italian food is absolutely amazing if you ask me. Even though it's across the street from a well-known Italian restaurant, I always choose to eat here. The environment is quiet and laid-back, there's a candle on every table. And I believe the food is just amazing. If you have not been to the place you have to check it out
Brian Givens
This place is a hidden gem. Great food, great music, and great Service. Cameron for president!
Susan Spurrier
We have been with friends and as a couple for Valentines. Every meal I have tasted from Appetizer, Salad to main course have been delicious. Its small and quaint and the food is reasonably priced. And the owners always come to your table to make sure everything is to your liking. Recommend 100%
Kevin Eisert
My wife and I have been here many times, and have always had a delicious meal that was served by friendly staff. I highly recommend DiFabio's for your date night!
Jennifer Geise
Consistently great Italian food! The service is always friendly! I eat there about once a month!
Shelby
Me and my girlfriend came at 6:30 on a Saturday night and it was really busy. The hostess seemed surprised that we didn't have a reservation but we were given a table right away. I would recommend reservations for this reason. The food was amazing and the service was great as well. I had the chicken parm and it was absolutely delicious. It also made a great lunch the next day. I was very impressed with this restaurant and will be returning.
Lindsay Hosseini
This little Italian place is a longtime favorite of mine and my boyfriend's. The food is always fresh and reasonably priced (the chicken parmesan is one of the best in town), and they frequently have wine specials. The outdoor dining space provides some privacy from the noisy street, and the indoor dining area has great ambiance. There is a small bar inside that I've never actually seen anyone sit at, but it appears well stocked. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for some delicious Italian food!
Dennis Horn
Visited with a friend for dinner and found friendly staff, in an intimate but a little odd décor. I got the shrimp scampi, which was not what I was expecting. It started out tasty, but the bread crumbs caused it to turn to porridge over time. Very unpleasant. My friend's dish was not bad though.
Casey Wilder
The food was absolutely amazing. Craig, my waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu!
Elizabeth Scott
This is my favorite Italian in Louisville!
Why?
1- food is delicious! (except the meatballs, it was like eating a ball of steamed ground beef with no flavor)
2- great atmosphere all year round! (indoor and outdoor seating)
3- great wine selection for reasonable prices (house wines are pretty good!)
4- won’t break the bank, reasonably priced
Cons...
1- Service is sub-par but not like it’ll ruin your experience... just not top notch.
2- Like previously stated, the meatballs are surprisingly bad. I say surprisingly because the rest if their food is delicious, and meatballs just aren’t that hard to make better than what they serve.
Kaela Carnahan
We had friends in from out of town and brought them to Difabio's for everyone's fist time visit- We already booked a reservation for next weekend because we had such a great experience and meal!! So many good things to say about our server Caleb and his recommendations!
Vonda Lamfers
Before I even said anything about the food I want to say that the staff was awesome! Very polite, warm, knowledgeable, and friendly. The place has a real atmosphere of family. This is some of the BEST Italian food that I've had in my life. I'm a super picky eater and a chef. This is our go to Italian restaurant, forEVER! 🤗 …
Mike Cruz
Simple but well thought out menu with options for everyone. I ordered the creamy pesto sauce with fettuccine--quite possibly one of the best cream sauces I've been served at a restaurant! Friendly staff and your option of indoor or outdoor seating.
Bill Zoeller
One of the best hometown Italian Restaurants I've been to in the States. Every entree is authentic and delicious. All four if us ordered differently and all four dinners where fantastic. Vmost importantly, it was very reasonably priced.
Charles Price
Best Italian food in Louisville! Service and food are fantastic. Can’t beat it for the price either. Highly recommend this gem on Frankfort Ave.
Todd Epley
Great Italian food that's not pretentious but very well-done. I got the veal parmigiana and my wife got the chicken fettuccine alfredo and they were both wonderful. The chocolate cherry cannolis for dessert were also amazing. This will be one of our go-to Italian restaurants now. Only bummer is the parking on Frankfort Ave but that's to be expected.
Cary Vowels
A couple of years ago my wife and I stumbled on to this restaurant on opening day. This has been our favorite Italian restaurant since. Very few places can compare to the locally owned and run restaurant. There are numerous dishes and at times daily specials which I have never been let down.
I have also used this restaurant to cater a couple of work events. Each time my order was ready for pick up and enough was prepared so there were not people left hungry.
If only I lived closer I would pick up the family style diner meal on the way home from work.
Kristie Dearing
Amazing food and service. Loved sitting out on patio last night. The heaters kept us warm. We really love this place. Can't wait to go back!
Dan O'Bryan (DanO)
Located in a small, converted house on Frankfort Avenue - - not far from downtown Louisville - - DiFabio's is an amazing Italian restaurant. Not only is the food exceptionally ambrosial, the setting is quaint and romantic; and the staff is attentive and friendly. There's indoor and outdoor dining; music acts are often offered in the warmer months; there's parking along Frankfort Avenue; and the prices are reasonable (at least to me). So, do yourself a favor and check out DiFabio's!
Adrien Kooyman
This is one of the few small owned handmade specialities of Louisville. Everything was absolutely incredible. So much flavor packed into dishes and very soft relaxing ambiance. Try the escargot! They were unbelievable, even our kids loved them!
Shannon Carpenter
Liz was AMAZING! My daughter has celiac disease (most eat gluten free) and Liz made sure everything was safe. She even brainstormed with my daughter on what she wanted to eat to make her excited about her food. The whole staff was accommodating and helpful. Serving us was a team effort and everyone was wonderful.
The patio is a great casual environment right on a main strip with lots of activity. Inside has ambiance and is a perfect date night location. The chicken on my alfredo was delicious. My husband loved his spaghetti and my daughters all loved their food (pizza, gf pasta, and spaghetti).
Tracey D'Intino-Charles
Best Experience Ever!! Great Food and even better Ambiance! I would Recommend DiFabio's for a Delightful Dinner and Romantic Atmosphere! Did I mention the Food was Extraordinarily Delicious 😋!!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Rating for Sure! PS We used the "Open Table" App to make the reservation with DiFabio's. So convenient and Easy all the way Around!! Made The Experience all the more Enjoyable!!
Annette Miller
Friendly and attentive service (Jen!), fair prices, good house wine also fairly priced, and a really delicious pink sauce. The calamari was also quite good, not over-breaded. Pretty excited to find this hole-in-the-wall neighborhood gem and will be back.
Cyn Smith
Waitress was very welcoming and nice and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy. Old house setting, welcoming. Worth the money. Dont spend your money at chain restaurants! Eat local! Prices was fair too. Would deffently go back.
Brenda Damon
We have serious diet restrictions! We tagged along with friends expecting not to eat. The owner came to our table after hearing about our Esselstyn diet, and gladly offered to prepare us nice sauteed vegetables without oul or butter a salad without dairy , and we got half price beer and wine. We were impressed! The only reason for 4 stars is because they did not have Whole grain pasta. They did have gluten free, but we need whole grains.
Mike Grider
My favorite little Italian place here in Louisville by far. I love the staff and the dim lighting and atmosphere, they capture the spirit of a true Italian roadside restaurant and they have the BEST LASAGNA anywhere in town. Highly recommend DiFabios and they won't break your budget like the majority of others in this town, they're very affordable.
Nikki Pulfer
Charming, charismatic staff that you can't help but love, wonderful drinks, and not to mention the food! Treat yourself to a ticket to #yumtown ya'll.
Marti Buechlein
While service and food were good I found it strangely lacking that they didn't even offer to serve fresh parmesan as topping to an Italian dish without asking. My dish was more than halfway eaten before I got it. Very tasty though
Adam Peterson
You might not expect much from this little stand alone brick building with a limited seating area. But once that small kitchen starts cranking out dishes, you'll see how delicious it really is
Danielle Fanelli
One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever had. Do yourself a favor and try this place, you will never downgrade to a place like Olive Garden ever again once you have had this!
William Dillon
Great feel as you walk in the door. They’ve been here a while and they do a great job. Service was outstanding. One of the best. Classic stuffed mushrooms. A person in our group said the best bed they’ve ever had. Had the special it was fantastic. Gray experience. I’ll be back
coolcar122
The best authentic Italian food that I have ever had. Hands down!
Curtis Critchfield
Good food, but service was a bit underwhelming. Nothing to make me not come back, just would prefer the server come check if I need a refill instead of having to flag them down.
Stanley Lawson
Authentic Italian food. Portions were only surpassed by the flavors and presentation. Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. A must visit when in Louisville.
Scott Simmons
The food was very good and the people there were friendly. However, they seemed to be very forgetful. Three of us had dinner there the other night. It took forever for my friend to get his beer, I never received a lime for my water, and another friend of mine had to ast three times to get his tiramisu. We had the check paid for before he brought it.
Dave Ormstedt
Awesome food. Cute little place in town. Prices are unbeatable for the quality you get. So happy this place was recommended to me. I love visiting little gems like this when traveling.
Charlotte Lopez
Wonderful, cozy, and warm comforting Italian food. Classic Italian American favorites. Low prices. Customer service makes you feel like you're part of their family.
Brent Smith
My wife and I went out to DiFabio's last night. We searched restaurants on Frankfort Ave and looked at menus and chose DiFabio's because we like Italian. We sat on the front porch (only complaint: solid plywood covers the front rail of the porch blocking any view of the street so it's very closed in feeling. Would be far more enjoyable to have the comings and goings visable) Tim was our server. He is a veteran server though he is fairly new to DiFabio's he was excellent. We will request him when we return. We had bruschetta appetizer. Small but bursting with flavor. I had the special salad, my wife the house salad both were teaming with flavor and fresh. The bread they served is a ciabatta roll, warm with herb butter. Excellent. My wife had the manicotti and I had the shrimp scampi. Delicious. We had a bottle of house Merlot that was a great pairing. Highly recommend DiFabio's. Affordable and high quality.
Joe Cox
Thanks a million to Jon and his crew for being able to squeeze us in on Vday night. As always the food, drinks, and service was always grand.
Thank you so much and can’t wait to come back soon. Cheers.
Sarah Sidda
Nice quiet place to get a bite. It is a bit too dark in front dining room. Had older people in my party and they found it hard to read menu. Food is simple Italian and it is done right. Looking to try a Cresent Hill/Clifton staple? Start here.
Sarah
Very decent Italian menu, food is very good. Sometimes restaurant is slightly unstaffed but do not let that stop you from enjoying a great meal, just plan a little more time. (Just in case)
Jaimie Davis
They have incredibly tasty gluten free options and are wonderful at taking care in their preparations. It's become one of our favorite date night/special occasion places. Thanks, DiFabio's!
Austin Flannery
Top of the line Italian dining experience! Food, service, and atmosphere was excellent. I will without a doubt go back and visit again soon!
Charlie Boyce
In Louisville for the Ironman race this weekend and we were looking for a good, casual family Italian restaurant. From the moment we entered, it was warm and friendly. Liz provided excellent service and the food was prompt and delicious.
Fellow racers....DiFabio's is a great place to carbo load!
Matthew McClure
Best bread, chicken parmigiana, lasagna, and tiramisu I've ever had. It's a small place, but rarely has a wait. In my opinion, it's the best Italian in Louisville.
Scott Whitlock
Nice atmosphere, very mediocre food with very small portions. The garlic bread appetizer with $6 and you got a 5 inch piece of bread with cheese on top barely enough for two people if you're not very hungry LOL
Robin Moore
Great locally owned and operated Italian were the dishes and the prices won't scare you. Served in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere. What's not to like great food and service I'll definitely be back and aoon.
Charles Hickey
Perfect place to get your fix for traditional italian had the chicken parm and bruschetta both were delicious. Atmosphere is comfy and the wait staff is on point.
Mack Miles
The food is excellent with a very cozy atmosphere. Definitely call ahead and reserve a table. Very busy, but still gave great service.
Nicholas Johnson
This cozy Italian gem was a pleasant find in the heart of the vibrant Clifton neighborhood. Check it out during happy hour for half priced appetizers and house wine, and try ordering your build-your-own-pasta dish baked!
Mr P
As a former chef and several year in the restaurant business I have seen few kitchens this clean. Amazing customer service and very friendly staff make this one of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of visiting!!!
Aaron Simoneau
Came with a large group: food came quickly and was excellent. Staff was very friendly and prompt. Would highly recommend and will come back the next time we are in Louisville.
Beau Beckman
Food is awesome. Usually get the chicken pesto pasta. Every now and then they have a Cajun pasta that is on my all-time list. The place is just great.
Jay Baker
Had great experience here, Fantastic Lasagna, tried the escargot (not bad) ave the bread is very good also. Great service . I definitely will return to try other menu items.
John Wilson
Always a great place to experience! The staff is wonderful food is terrific! Chicken Marsala is amazing! Don't miss out on a great dinner!!
Judy Zitter
First visit . Food was wonderful. Many selections . I enjoyed my house salad and Manacotti . Service excellent . Cozy atmosphere and not noisy .
philumup
Some of the best food and service I have ever had. Great homemade family recipes and equally good prices.
Steve Durr
So yummy.
I needed this tonight.
Large portion of angel hair with meat sauce accompanied by 2 meatballs and a sausage.
Food therapy.
Meg Sampson
Great experience all around. Staff was friendly, food was great, atmosphere made for a comfortable and relaxing dinner.
