Orange Chicken - taste okay, nothing too exciting Fried Rice - The fried rice was really good. I didn’t even need any sauces for it Broccoli - The broccoli was pretty tough. I didn’t enjoy it. Overall, I would say my meal was a 3.5 out of 5. Thank you for being open on the 12/25!

This place has been here forever, and though the quality has been slightly lacking of late - I think some people reviewing this spot need to remember that it's tough times for everyone recently and the food industry has been struggling to keep up with demands and this place is still a down home swing every time I eat here. The people here have always been kind to me, the service has always been speedy and fast, and the portion sizes have been great. I've been going here since I was knee high to a grass hopper and food has always been good. PS if you want ice with your drink, you order a fountain drink not the can.

First time here but food was great and speedy service. Staff was friendly and as far as plp complaining about the soda not having ice they come free with a combo platter so really y complain? The crab ragoons are amazing and the pork egg rolls totally worth the price got my kids food as well and they ate happily. As far as portion sizes everything was filled to the brim for our first time her was very happy with the service and food so glad we could even walk here we live so close!

I have been going to Chong Garden for almost 25 years. After growing up near a California Asia town... this is the best! Always friendly, always prompt and always delicious!! And the price compared to the leftovers is beyond belief. Going back soon.

Without a doubt one of the best chinese restaurants in the city. The service is fast and the food is always hot and delicious. Our family has been coming here for years and order at least weekly. They have also done an amazing job making accommodations to deal with COVID-19.

It was an hour before I got to eat it, I got chicken and Chinese vegetables with brown sauce. There was barely any sauce but was still kind of soggy. The crab ragoon was good but did not give us any sweet sauce to dip it in. I still might go back some other time and try something else.

I love this place. I can't find any other Chinese restaurant in the area that still carries the Pu Pu Platter aside from Chong Garden. I have been going here ever since I can remember, and I'm 25 years old. From what I remember this place has always been here. It was my high school boyfriend's favorite place to eat on Fridays, and mine too. We'd eat the lunch special here and go to the library after school. Ten years later my husband and I go here at least once a month and enjoy it still. Their roast pork lo mein is amazing, love their chicken wings, they have huge crab Rangoon that aren't too sweet, and their egg rolls are the biggest I've found. I absolutely adore this place and I hope it stays around forever.

I read that someone didn't care for the eggrolls at this place, but I'm telling you the truth that they have the best pork egg rolls I've ever tasted. I make it a point to order extra every time I go. I've tried an assortment of dishes from this restaurant and never had a bad meal. The portions are generous and it's quite literally the best chinese food in the city. I live five minutes away, call my family order in, and it's almost always ready by the time that I get there. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could.

Spiritual Growing Pains

My first time coming here was a pretty good experience. The dumplings and crab Rangoon are delicious. The portions for the price are hard to beat. Id definitely come back

Years ago, I always had excellent service and food from here. I like to imagine that the reason the quality has gone down is from the younger generation of their family taking over the business. I ordered the same meal I've been ordering here for about 20 years; it was the worst it's ever been. Good luck, Chong Garden.

I love Chong Garden and would still rate it a 5 if the quality of the food had been the same as it was not even that long ago. I know it's a sign of the times but my son and I have always loved this place over any other we've tried in Louisville. Just because China Dragon delivers, their food is no way comparable to what I had come to love. Please bring back the quality. Love you guys!!

Chong garden is hands down one of the best Chinese take out's I've ever been to. Noodles are cooked perfectly, food is always made fresh and hot when you pick it up, chicken is delicious and rice is cooked beautifully. I recommend this place to everyone I talk to about Chinese take out.

My family and I absolutely love this place, and have been eating from here since we first found it about 15 years ago. To the point we even jokingly say “10 minute OK” as that is more than likely what you will here if you call in an order. I have not had a single thing there I did not like (unless it was something I wouldn’t like anywhere.)

Not the worst Chinese food I've ever had, but also not the best. It's very convenient to where we live, so some members of my family eat here pretty regularly. The price is great for the sizes....my main complain is a lack of "good" flavor. For example, today's teriyaki chicken left MUCH to be desired in the sauce. Way to mild of a taste for teriyaki sauce....where were the hints of brown sugar, mollasses, etc. Lastly, their fried rice is yellow not brown, which is usually a tell-tell sign that the food is gonna lack.

Absolutely delicious. Highest quality Chinese takeout I've ever had. The inside of the building is not very homely, but you're not supposed to eat inside there. Pick it up and go home. Get this food. (try the crab Rangoon)

Outstanding food and the best General Tso's Tofu in town. They are a couple of dollars more than 1st Wok but worth the extra money, you get more food and it tastes better. Plus they fry the Tofu in a way that makes the edges all crisp, it just tastes better.

I have always received fast, good service here. They can tweak your order to your liking - for example, if you love sesame chicken, but don't want it spicy, then just tell them! They'll make it without the hot stuff. I also have to say that I've tried crab rangoon at many different Chinese restaurants, and I've never been a fan until I tried theirs. It's heaven in every bite, and it's always hot and fresh. I'm not sure what they do so differently, but it works well! I'm so happy that they're so close to my house.

It was ok. The older lady knows her stuff but can come off as a lil rude. Everything has onions and that's a lil odd and painful since my wife has an allergy. I was just a lil disappointed that it didn't have the flavor I was lookin for. But very good price. 4 adults ate for 23$.
