This place to me would be better if they had prices per serving. Sometimes not everyone is going to agree on lasagna. 2 may want that but someone may want the chicken Parmesan. A bit pricey, even if it is served family style. I mean, if you buy the chicken Parmesan, serve it with spaghetti. Don't make the customer pay extra. 2 of us went for lunch, we spent $81. Individual plates would have been better. We enjoyed the food but will probably not go back

Shelby was outstanding and took great care of us during our recent visit. We were celebrating a milestone and this was a perfect cap to the evening. The food was excellent. The drinks were outstanding. The atmosphere is just really cool. Definitely recommend!

As I was visiting a relative over in Louisville last week and after doing shopping and running some errands I asked him to stop at a restaurant for lunch. He threw that name on the table and l was really stunned by the funny name, so I was anticipating something a little unusual and fun. As we stepped in , we were welcomed by the host and guided all the way to where we preferred to sit. Frankly, as I was following the host through the seating halls and hallways, you can see numerous paintings and pictures on the walls that give the feeling you are mingling in an Italian old town. I was really wowed by some of the interior design.The restaurant was huge from inside with adequate seatings to hold large celebrations and parties with no worries. Well ! Let's talk about the food. This place is an Italian restaurant with an American touch. To me, it is a great place for great Italian food and fun! Buca really offers Italian cuisine in a selective, vintage setting with a wide-ranging menu . My order was the chicken parmesan and was one of the most scrumptious Italian dish I had in any American/Italian restaurant. I absolutely enjoyed every bite of that meal. The food there I believe is always fantastic and no matter what you order. Not to omit , the service was perfectly attentive and the server was so nice and helpful with options and suggestions. None of us had left the restaurant in a bad mood. I assure you that you will leave full and satisfied. To be back? Definitely with big YES in my next visit to Louisville.

My server as well as chef Michael were Nothing less than AMAZING! I have food restrictions and he came out and spoke to me personally to create a dish that was deliciously perfect for me to eat- He showed our whole family more love than any customer service I’ve had in a long time - he even treated the little ones with fresh chocolate chips - our server was so kind and patient and over all the experience was perfect!

Food was very tasty! Service was wonderful! Said the small size would feed 2-3, however it was more than we could eat for 2 meals! We ordered the lasagna, Brussels sprouts with prosciutto, and a salad. We had the sangrias, one white and one red, not the best, but not the worst. We will definitely be back!

Service was great! Food delicious! Great atmosphere! Only drawback, is why when you have more than one coupon at the table, but different checks that spend way more than the required amount, you do not allow each family to use coupon? Are we supposed to all ask for different tables?

I've been in Louisville going on past 20 years, and eaten here several times. The food quality needs improvement. We didn't get any noodles with our plate. The atmosphere will always be fantastic. The service was good, but the food needs alot of improvement for the price you pay.

Just went there for a birthday. Food was great, as usual. Fun atmosphere. Our server Shelby was top notch, very polite, and we didn't have to wait for anything. Definitely going back again.

Buca is a nice place to go for a family get together. We had several excellent dishes, including ravioli with meat sauce, lasagna, stuffed shells, and egg plant parmigiana. The large antipasto salad fed 5 people easily with leftovers. Our server, Taylor, was very helpful and friendly. Make sure you call in a reservation if you don’t want a long wait.

The lunch menu is personal size. The dinner menu small serves 3 and the large serves 5 ( according to the server. I had the spicy chicken rigatoni it was flavorful just not enough chicken. The server was prompt and the food was so quick I couldn’t remember even waiting.

Took my wife out for our date night. We had the chicken parm for dinner with a salad. She said it was her favorite salad possibly ever. We finished the night with the colossal brownie which was delicious. Our server was super nice however and very helpful. Thanks Carson!

I’d really give 3.5 stars but I’m ok with 4. Firstly our waiter Marta was excellent and absolutely wonderful ! The menu looks pricey but the serving sizes are huge . If you’re taking a date you guys can literally share a small anything on the menu . This is definitely a restaurant for groups or families because serving sizes are hugeeeee. I would have given 5 stars but the drinks were not strong at all and my fettuccine Alfredo had no flavor . I had chicken and broccoli added and it all tasted bland. The spaghetti was decent. The stuffed chicken was actually good I must say. Worth a visit just not enough flavor for me personally and the punch bowl tasted like no alcohol was in it . We drunk the whole Bowl and felt nor tasted anything . A plus is there was plenty of food to take home lol like seriously be prepared to share your food it’s a lot

We nade a reservation for 10 for NYE at 7. Requested the Pope room. We arrived and they were totally ready for us! We had a fantastic waitress! She was so attentive to our group! The food? Fantastic! Abundant and everyone left with our bellies full and a takehome plate!

We went here for Thanksgiving, the service was great and they got us to our table pretty quickly. But our cheese bread had a really weird taste and the meatballs were very dry. We were pretty disappointed. We normally love Buca Di Beppo but this one wasn't super impressive

The food and atmosphere here is always fantastic have been going off and on for years now. Today we ordered pick up and was beyond happy with it. We ordered the Family meal for $40 promo Baked Ziti, Caesar salad & garlic bread then added on brussel’s and broccoli. My son had the best family style birthday dinner ever here customer service experience was exceptional I would Recommend anyone come here put those cell phones down and have a real family dinner this restaurant promotes getting back to the foundations of family talk eat laughter while enjoying a delicious meal the portions are HUGE I over ordered and was still very satisfied they have the best pizza great spaghetti/meatballs salad and the kid’s favorite chicken Alfredo the manager Chef Michael even catered to my daughter with plenty of food allergies and made her a pizza she could eat so she wouldn’t be left out it’s not even on the menu people that’s real customer service caring about your customers something you can not find at many restaurants being kind is sadly never the trend but it is here you will find that and more thank you Chef Michael 🥳❤️

Buca has a fun Italian atomsphere. You even get a tour through the kitchen like the mafia movies. You get large portions of food. Really really long portions of food!! There are Italian pictures and paintings covering the walls to give it a authentic Italian look. The server's are nice and fast. My problem is although you get large portions of food. The food is very bland! I love italian food and this isnt it. Need more seasoning!! Sauce is dry and I can't taste the cheese! You get 3 crown's👑👑👑 great atomsphere and good server's but the food was average

It's a good place to eat but you have to know what your going to get before you enter or you will have way more than you can eat. It's served family style so you need some family corporation. Other than that it's good service and good food, I will definitely be back.

I was with a party of 18 for a birthday, no restaurants around us were available so we decided to try Buca . My friend came in there and asked them if they could take us in. They were fully booked for that night but still managed to squeeze us in. Amazing service, great food, highly recommend.

My wife Peggy Mitchell and I love that restaurant. We go there every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary, sometimes our birthday~hers May 21st and mine September 6th, sometimes on Valentine's Day. Those days that we do celebrate we both have memberships there and we get coupons and discounts from the restaurant and the management because we go there so much. We get excellent service. They always get our table we reserve as you see pictured here. We love and enjoy eating the food there. It's a very romantic place to go and a very nice place to go. You think you're part of Mafia in Italy eating at a nice expensive Italian restaurant in Italy. This place is amazing. They give you so much food and it is great. Service was wonderful and no one in our party went without or wanted for anything. Drinks were kept full without ever having to asks. The best part was that the chef himself came out to make sure everything was well. He saw that one person in our party wasn't eating because she didn't like the meals we chose. So he made her a special plate just for her. What a wonderful place and staff. We will be back.

I stopped here for a nice lunch.....I wasn’t disappointed. Not sure how it is when it’s their busy hours but I was well taken care of for lunch! As well as stuffed!! One could easily take home half of their order and reheat it for lunch/dinner the next day!! The food was great, but I didn't realize they only serve family sized portions for dinner. Prices range between $20 and $30 for a "small" but it feeds 3 people. They were nice enough to let me order off of the lunch menu since I was by myself.

The first time I visited this place was at the end of June 2022. I was in town for a work trip. The food was good here of course, but the service was quite interesting. The night I was there, they must’ve been short on staff because it took forever for a waitress to get to our table and then there was visible tension between the bartender/waitress and the initial waitress that took our order. Irrelevant. I had their takeout this past week (First week of July) and that was quick and easy and great food.

I loved this place. It was out first time eating here so the staff offered to seat us in the kitchen. I enjoyed way hing them prepare everything and service was immediate. Good food but it's not really a place for just 2 people to eat because if you want 2 different meals you have to pay for sharable meals of 3. You dont even get a side salad. This was the most Ive paid for a meal for 2 that wasnt steak dinners. $92 for 3 pieces of stuffed chicken, bowl of chicken alfredo, 2 beers, 1 pepsi and garlic toast. Food was good but it's more catered to groups rather than 2 people

7/16/17 Myself & a friends decided to go to buca de Beppo Sunday it's one of my favorite places we love Italian and as usual it was great. I have sangria love their sangria my friends had a couple of drinks also the one in the picture below is a tiramisu martini and believe me it was so good end up getting one myself we got the bruschetta which is always good we love it, I ordered the chicken cannelloni, they ordered the eggplant parmesan, and it has to be one of the house specials the lasagna always great the waiter told us one of the waitresses there put some alfredo sauce on the eggplant parmesan so we tried it oh my goodness how good was it I can't tell you we ate it all it's always good service there good atmosphere I was so stuffed when I left I couldn't walk haha I can't say enough about this place that's good.

Make sure you have a nice size group, and a very healthy appetite. Portion sizes are very very generous here. But you won't be disappointed, this was our first time, going here. We loved everything about the place, from the Homey decor, to the very friendly, and funny stuff . Finally to the delicious home made Italian food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I would have loved to give this place 5 stars. Unfortunately, the service was all but non-existent! Our server was absent for most, if not all of the meal!!! It didn't seem like they were overbooked or understaffed, but that remains to be a mystery. This would have been a magical birthday dinner for my wife, if the server would have given us an ounce of attention!

We had only been here once before & it was many, many years ago, maybe over a decade. All I remembered was this is an Italian restaurant & I think we were here when it was only family style at dinner. We went for lunch today because I was sent a gift card. It was all delicious & the lunch portions are just right for us while still being very generous! We started with a side Caesar salad that we shared. My husband had the Chicken Parmigiana with Italian Broccoli Romano & I had Chicken Limone with fresh green beans. I tasted my husband's food 1st & all was excellent. Then I tasted my Chicken Limone & it was even better! So tender, in a creamy light lemon butter sauce & topped with capers. The broccoli & the green beans were fresh, not overcooked & not ordinary! We shared a large piece of Italian Creme Cake for dessert. There was nothing left behind. We will definitely be return customers; lunch menu is weekdays until 3PM. I would give 5 stars to Bucca di Beppo if they would get rid of the plastic tablecloths that don't feel good draped against you; they feel smothering & hot. No tablecloths at all would be a much better choice & give a cleaner look because there is so much to look at on the walls: interesting photos - Sophia Loren to nuns in bumper cars! Also, handrails are needed along the ramps from 1 dining area to another. They open at 11AM so do yourself a favor & skip the crowded (and not as good) "other" Italian place with Garden in their name. Bucca di Beppo actually has a beautiful garden right outside the canopy covered walkway to their door.

Buca di Beppo is the best restaurant in Louisville and the best Italian restaurant around. We have been going there for about 13 years now. Dino is THE BEST! We have watched him go from server to chef to manager. He makes this place special. He is like a part of our family...Dino is always friendly and professional and makes sure we are taken care of. Go there for your special occasions...or when you just want a great meal. Make sure to go on an empty stomach...it's a LOT of food!

The food has kind of changed for the worse. I used to love it. We went on the Sunday before valentines Day. they were dead. I spent 100 bucks for two of us and was disappointed the stuffed pasta platter we had did not taste the same and had an American cheese taste to it. The sausage stuffed shells had sausage like you would get on a cheap pizza . Pre-cooked junk. 18 bucks for a small calamari that was greasy and over cooked. I don't think we will be back. Use to go 4 or 5 times a year for a treat. Hopefully, they can figure stuff out . Don't mind spending a little extra for quality and big portions, but it wasn't that.

Had an amazing time for my fiancés birthday last November! This was the only restaurant where I could easily reserve a table for 12 around dinner time. Had a great “family feel” to it, and the food was OUTSTANDING! We loved their lasagna and salmon dishes. Also, our server was incredibly kind and helpful! It was fun when they came out and sang the Buca Birthday song too. Thanks for a wonderful night and some amazing memories! ☺️

Got our food to go because it would have been 1 hour and 30 mins wait for a table. To-Go orders are fast but we were traveling and they don't put any utensils or napkins. Didn't put the vinegar in. When I asked for extra twice....after going back in...I still only got one tiny thing of it. They did give me a free can of coke and mountain dew. The lasagna and bread was good! But for the price it should have been a little more. I really think they should do a free salad for to go orders as well. It would make the 25$ lasagna and bread even better!! Staff was nice! Bathrooms were dirty and no paper towels.

Be sure to bring your phone. They no longer offer menus at the table for dining choices (for Covid reasons). However, they gladly keep a drink menu on the table (WTH?!). I find this horrible because I want to see the various choices on ONE page and my phone is not that large and I can't see print that small. That being said the food was great and ample portions. The service left a little to be desired - perhaps they're out of practice????

Brooke took care of us while we were there. She was very knowledgeable of the restaurant's history and menu, which was cool since it was our first time there. She also went out of her way to help us, was very friendly, and allowed us to take pictures like the nerdy tourists we are. Buca di Beppo knows how to celebrate. If you can get your fellow diners to agree on a few items to share, it's a great experience. My family resisted but I persisted, and they all enjoyed the two different salads we shared, which were scrumptious. A family friend took us here and we didn't know what to expect. I was not familiar with this style of eating. For those who don't know, its like a family style eating where you order a dish to split between everyone. I was skeptical at first as we have slightly different tastes however the Chicken Alfredo was on point! Very unique atmosphere as well. Lots of cool art and pictures on the walls to look at.

I’m usually the last person to order when I go out to eat, but he knew all of the dishes so well it was surprisingly easy to order… and ordering family portions that everyone likes. We were there for my bffs wedding reception. Started out very rough. The bride however handled the situation well. She had a polite conversation with the GM and everything turned out well after that. I went to Buca for my first time with some friends who just raced about it. I was skeptical at first but let me tell you I wasn’t disappointed. The food was great, we ordered the Chicken Parmesan and the Alfredo to go with it. We got the Tiramisu for dessert and it was just heavenly. I also got a sparkling sangria which was great. Kudos to the bartender. But a big shoutout to our server Shelby. She was the sweetest little thing. So attentive, not one of us had an empty cup the whole time. Not only was she nice she was funny as can be. Had us cracking up the whole time. I’ll definitely be looking for her when I come back!!! Give this girl a raise.

Buca di Beppo is hands down the best Italian Restaurant me and my family has ever been to. The service at this Louisville location is bar none and their food is absolutely immaculate!! This is a must for anybody wanting to do a family get together, company meeting or anything with people gathering together to share their company and to enjoy a wonderful atmosphere with through the roof service and top notch food. The food is a little pricey , however the serving size is absolutely astonishing!! You definitely get what you pay for at this restaurant!! We have eaten at this location multiple times and the food and service couldn’t be better. My mom says “the meatballs melt in your mouth”. My husband has to have his own personal side of their delicious marinara. I personally have always loved their pizza. We learned today there is a farm that raises and cans their tomatoes especially for Buca; perhaps this is why the ingredients are always so fresh. We drive over an hour to eat there and hope that our former waiter, who is now the restaurant manager, is there. We will be back soon!

I took my husband here for the first time tonight. I have been here before. Friendly & cozy restaurant I love this place. The appetizing smell of the garlic bread cooking greets you when the door opens. The decor is eclectic Italian, with dining tables arranged cozily. Food is served family style. The food is old-fashioned Italian--people pleasing. (For me it a pleasant familial sensation.) Last visit was for Thanksgiving; the meal was sensational, quite tasty for food prepared in large quantities. The wine & cocktail selection was excellent. If dining for 2 you better share the same menu item. We asked that if we ordered different dishes can we get a smaller portion and they said no. Wife ordered fettuccine and I ordered rigatoni. We also had mozzarella cheese bread and 2 drinks. Shew $80. That's where they get you. Fettuccine was good but rigatoni with sausage was dry and bland. Mozzarella cheese bread was lacking on the cheese. We'll stay with Olive Garden where we get salad, unlimted hot bread, 2 drinks and 2 dinner menu items for about $40.

Fantastic dinner this evening. It really started at the front and continued throughout the meal. We were even serenaded by Chef singing Frank Sinatra as he was talking to tables in the dining room. I would like to mention names because they deserve the utmost kudos. Savanna the host at the front was extremely professional and gave us this incredible tour of each room. Our server Cassidy was so friendly and seemingly anticipated everything we needed before we needed. And then there's the Chef, I believe he said his name was Michael, he must have one heck of a team in his kitchen because I think he spent more time talking with guests and making people laugh then he did in the kitchen. Even with that said, the food was INCREDIBLE, and didn't miss a beat. Nothing that came out disappointed. This was our fist time at Buca and thanks to this group of people we will tell everyone we know and be back frequently.

Wow! Wandered into this place with a few friends while on vacation in Louisville and could not have been more impressed. It's the type of restaurant where you order giant plates of food for the table and share. We went with the lasgina, Alfredo, and manicotti all of which were delicious and plentiful. The 4 of us had more than enough for leftovers the next day. They have a great wine list and a full bar! The service was second to none! Our waitress, Cassidy, was quick, friendly, and attentative. My boyfriend and I went on a Friday night and we were told the wait was 30 mins, but were able to be seated before that. Nykki was our waitress and we asked for her recommendations. It had been over 10 years since my husband and I had been to Buca di Beppo. The atmosphere was very different from what I remembered it. We were there for my husband's best friend's birthday. His wife and grown children were there also. Our reservation was at 6:00 p.m and we didn't leave until 7:45 p.m. Nothing negative had kept us there, it was that we were really enjoying ourselves. The service was awesome, the food was plentiful and delicious and the atmosphere was cheerful. Needless to say, we had a wonderful time! I can't believe we hadn't been there for over 10 years. Our table was sometimes too loud, mostly with jokes and laughter. But so were the other tables around us. This is a great place to have a large get together. Oh... The drinks were delicious too!

We made reservations for 8:30 pm,and we only had to wait about five minutes to be seated. The staff was friendly, the food came quickly, and the restrooms were clean. We had our traditional Thanksgiving meal again this year at this fine restaurant. The service was excellent as always. Kudos to our waiter, Adam for his wonderful service and his patience with us and to the manager who greeted us while we were enjoying the dinner. Our son and his family live in Taylorsville, KY and each time we go there to visit them we always call Buca di Beppo’s in Louisville to see if chef Michael is working and if he is, we make sure to stop there for dinner!!! He is very personable, always make a point of visiting the tables to see if his patrons are happy with their meals, willing to answer questions, but most of all – he is an amazing chef!!! We do a lot of travel all over this country and have never had a bad meal at any of the various locations. However, the Louisville location beats them all, especially when chef Michael is working. By the way, this chain is the only one we have found that has not cheapened their Chicken Marsala recipe. Most all restaurants – Ma & Pa as well as chains have started making their sauce more like a light tan flavorless thin gravy. Yuck!!! Not Buca’s. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't follow suit. We love the fact that none of your food come premade and the taste proves it!!!

I had never been here before and just assumed it was another Italian restaurant, I was wrong. All of their food is served family style, meaning everything on the menu comes in large portions for 3 or more people depending the size you order. They have different sized portions for wether you have a small group or say 5 or more. It is on the pricier end, the hardest part about eating here is getting everyone to agree on a dish because there's a large menu to choose from. The food was very good and the server was very kind.

Food is always excellent! Today we got the spaghetti with meatballs for the first time. Their marinara sauce has such great flavor. We bought a jar to take home. The meatballs are delicious and enormous, 1/2 lb each. Our server Chelsea was attentive and prompt. Thank you for a great experience!

My wife and I go to dinner here at minimum, every year for our anniversary. I love the food, the service is very good. Most years I do something special at dinner for my wife, I hired a singer one year( one song) , had some special scrypt that was placed before we were sat on another year, nothing elaborate. They are a great place to visit for a special occasion or just a night out. Yes, it is not the cheapest Italian around, but if you are after a good tasting food, large portions you can take home, a unique atmosphere and a good experience. This is a great place for that. Even over 14 years of going here, the experience stays the same. The staff changes but the demeanor does not which would imply that it is a company value. I will return and would recommend it to anyone.

Went for my wife’s and granddaughter’s birthdays, 7 of us in all, counting 2 toddlers. We sat at the kitchen table, which comfortably seats 6, so it was a little crowded. No worries though as our awesome waitress Shirley, and her able bodied trainee Evan, kept our table clear of used dishes, promptly prepared our leftovers to take home (no small task as we had apps, salad, three entrees, going to three different households) and led a rousing rendition of the Buca birthday song! The food was great (ordered too much but it was a celebration) but the service really stood out! We all had a blast and left in wheelbarrows LOL. Thanks Shirley for making the night great!

Service was good. Our server was Patrick, he was very nice. I just feel the food wasn't as good as the price would indicate. The fried calamari was soggy not crisp. The main dishes were good and the desert which we got an Italian cream cake and cheesecake were both dry. As in when you put your spoon into the cheesecake it crumbled apart. Not good. And the cream cake was basically the same.

This place took a turn for the worse several years ago, but the young man running it now has it back to the top of our list. Dino is so involved visiting tables and talking to everyone like they're family. Don't even get me started on the food. It's not just cookie cutter Italian, it's so much better than that. Our server Micah was excellent and even though he was crazy busy we never had to ask for anything. That's what happens when a restaurant has great leadership, and as an experienced restaurant manager myself I know when a ship is well guided. Dino and Mike are going the extra mile and it shows. We will be back many times over.

First time there, we had brussel sprouts and prosciutto for starters, it was delicious, I couldn't stop eating it. We enjoyed spaghetti and meatballs for the entree, it was good, the portions were huge. It was take home Tuesday, we got a free rigatoni to bring home and bake, how nice is that? Yee, good ol' Buca Di Beppo. I have fantastic memories here. Most of them being on my friends birthdays. I love how they sing their own happy birthday song, absolutely love it. The last time I went to Buca, I ordered a pepperoni pizza, which as their food usually is, it was marvelous. Where do I get started on the atmosphere? Their whole place is filled with artwork and colorful lights. I can't recall if they had any music, but that right there would be enough to say their atmosphere was great. The service ranges from slow to average, but it's worth the wait. The food is the best. It really isn't meant to be eaten by one person, as the meal is so large you can share it with at max 4 people. I always have to get a box here too, it's unavoidable. 5/5, would eat again.

The food is amazing, but beyond that is the "family style" dining where you order a couple dishes and your entire group shares them. In always loved places like that but they're so rare to find an especially good one. The entire restaurant is covered in interesting photos and art and makes for a fun atmosphere. If it's your first time, ask for the tour. They'll even take you through the kitchen, which having worked in the industry is one of the cleanest kitchens I've seen in a place this busy.

Having ordering takeout during the pandemic, we discovered Buca's Birthday Bundles. It is supposed to feed 3 but we get 7 meals if you cut the large chicken parm into portions. We enjoy the fresh garden salad, bread, and pasta (love the the Penna alla vodka) but just want the cannolis and chocolate cake. The Birthday Bundle 2 would only be better with more cannolis and another slice of cake. It's definitely a nice treat after all the usual takeout.

Decent food. Seems a bit over priced with some items. I know for a fact this restaurant was much different 10 years ago. Just better quality and ingredients. Back then garlic bread actually had huge chunks of garlic on it. Disappointing to see its no longer made that way. The a la carte style menu is nice and big portions so with that being said this restaurant is more suitable for larger parties. Our server was decent, probably wont be coming back as there are so many other Italian restaurants that are needing to be tried.

Extremely limited gluten-free items. I ordered one of the entrees off the gf menu thinking it would be gluten-free pasta, but it was literally just chicken. No veggies, no carbs, just a plate of protein. I find that hard to consider a gluten-free "meal". Needless to say it was very tasty with unique flavors, I just ended up leaving hungry still.

My husband and I went out for date night. Everything was going great until our water decides to forget everything I mean everything tried to over charge for our entree and forgot our garlic bread thank goodness the manager came to ask if everything was going good and we let him know and took a long time to get refills good thing we weren't choking. We love the food there but the front of house needs some training on customer service. We will be back but hoping not with the same waiter.

It was our first time ever visiting a Buca and we had a great time overall! The waitstaff was very upbeat and attentive, and the atmosphere was fun yet very chill and casual. We ordered the appetizer trio with calamari, fried mac and cheese and fried mozzarella and it tasted fantastic. The cheesy garlic bread had way too much garlic for our liking, though, and we weren't able to eat more than 1 piece each so that felt like a waste. We ordered the quattro al forno as our main course, and it was overall pretty good. We would definitely come back, but we would change our order for next time.

We celebrated a birthday here with a big group of people, including four children under 7, and the experience couldn’t have been better! Everyone enjoyed their food: spaghetti, chicken carbonara, Quattro forno, and Mac and cheese. All The dishes came out hot and fresh. I really like the atmosphere, and the kids enjoyed looking around at all the pictures and artwork. But the most pleasant surprise was how spot on the service was. Tonight we decided to get out of a rut of always going to the same places. We decide to try Buca di Beppo. Our server Sonia was awesome. She explained the HUGE portion sizes and was patience answering all of our questions about ingredients due to severe food allergies. Of course we didn't listen and ordered way too much food, and we had to top it off and try 2 desserts! My husband, daughter and I truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It was a pleasure to meet one of the partners Michael that came at the end to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We will definitely be going back.

Let me just say, the 2 days have been terrible in my personal life, so my mom took us here to alleviate some stress and to celebrate my sons upcoming birthday. The experience did not disappoint. We went for my Birthday we had such a nice and friendly staff, my husband and I always try to get something new everytime we go, their Icecream Sundae is a must, it's crazy how big it is, has brownies on the bottom chocolate and vanilla Icecream a heaping of homemade whipped cream (its definitely not store bought or outta a can believe me) and on top of all that, is a chocolate fudge drizzle. It's so good and you will have left overs from that alone. What we had for our entree was their parmesan chicken. It was so good crispy outside but a juicy tender inside, we also got a portion of fettuccine alfredo since the chicken doesnt come with spaghetti or anything, which I found was fine on it's own as well. We also got their garlic bread. What you know about garlic bread from other places is nothing to be compared to buca, they have tiny pieces of their freshly chopped garlic inside their bread, its absolutely great.

Posting my review from OpenTable. Since posting, a manager thanked me for the review. Unfortunately that was the extent of the interaction. We had a reservation and were seated about ten minutes past our reservation time. it was understandable because it was valentines weekend, so it was pretty busy. the waiting area was small and the hostesses held the door open when they saw someone come up the sidewalk. The door was open much longer than necessary and it was pretty cold out. We got to our table and it was a booth. There were nine of us and they put us in a boot suites for six people and added a chair on the end. My wife is pregnant and definitely couldn’t sit in the booth because it was so tight, so she got the chair at the end. We squeezed everyone else in(6 adults and two kids) in the very small booth. Our server was probably the worst part. She didn’t give refills on drinks unless we asked and didn’t bring the bread until after the food was out. We also ordered espresso, which was a disappointment. The menu labeled it a Nespresso drink. I was under the expression it was going to be more of a latte, but it was just a shot of espresso. There was no description, so I’m not sure if it was even right. Four of us ordered this drink and the server brought out a handful of splendas and a few creams. We don’t use Splenda and never asked for it, so we thought that was a weird choice. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. There was wet toilet paper around the toilet in both bathrooms and it was just really grimey. Definitely not somewhere I wanted my toddler sitting. We got the penne alla vodka, which was delicious. Giving it a 3 to be fair. The server was nice, but the staff never showed up to light candle for my husband even though we had the hand on the table. The portion sizes were great for our family of 5 to split. But I was expecting more authentic Italian cusisine based on the description. We were also sat at the bar room with my 3 children who noticed the photos with scantilt clad and naked women (noting my 9 yeat old son pointed out the naked woman's privates in one painting) so I suggest not sitting there if you have children. These salad and bread was excellent. Generic noodles in our soaghetti and the sauce was so runny it didn't stay on the pasta. Plain grated parmesan on the table. Overall it was okay. If I go back okay if I don't no big loss.

Dinner was good however, if your going to charge $7 to add Chicken to your pasta please add something to the chicken! No flavor or spice. Very boarding chicken, like you just opened from a can, heated & placed on pasta. You can do better!

It's decent food and the restaurant is clean. The food is not special or terribly good. The plates you eat off of are set at the table so even hot food gets cold quickly. The last time I went the waitress was very apathetic towards our table and our simple needs like silverware.

Our server was Thomas and he was phenomenal. I was a bit disappointed in the food, though. Everyone Raves about the lasagna, but it was flat, as was the spicy chicken pasta dish and the Alfredo. Given the prices, I don't think I will be back. I will stick to local places like Silvio's!

Very, very loud atmosphere. Food is just ok. Pretty bland generic Italian style fare. Lot of happy birthday songs. Like a whole lot. Every give minutes screaming and clapping. Don't expect to have a relaxing meal here. Building is outdated and not in great shape. Inside needs a major update, drywall falling in and stained, paint chipping.

My family and I ate there on Saturday night. We had a wonderful time , our waiter was Alan he was very friendly and knowledgeable and very professional . Our food was amazing as always. However we noticed that Alans larger table on the other side of us was very loud and was being very rude. We overheard them being rude to Alan and as Alan walked away we heard one of the ladies say " we about to get everything for free" and laugh about it. This honestly made us uncomfortable and I apologized to Alan later that he had to deal with people like that. It's very sad that restaurant workers have to deal with that kind of thing . We heard them say they were going to write a review so I decided I would also . People shouldn't be able to slander others just to get free food .

Our server Shirley was absolutely amazing!!!! Food was yummy first time ive stepped out of my bubble and ate something different chicken marsala. Shirley was on top of our drinks and dirty plates and was super helpful with the many questions we had our first time here. Was a great way to start off my birthday celebrations tonight ! Great service for a Large party! We went to Bucca di Beppo for Mother's Day dinner celebration and had a group of 20 people. I just have to brag on our waitress, Shirley, she was fantastic! She spoke loud enough that we could hear her on the other end of the looong table, she kept things organized, which was quite a task because my family is pretty loud and likes to talk! There was not one mistake made on the many entrees, apps, sides, and drinks that we ordered....I couldn't believe it! We all figured that this was such a large party, there was bound to be something wrong, but Shirley made sure that everything came out correctly, hot, and delicious. Can't brag on her enough, we will definitely be coming back to enjoy again.

Pros: Flavorful food, attentive service,unique dining experience with interesting artifacts on the walls and tables. Cons: Don't go by yourself as the portions are meant for 2 or more people. No individual portions (but plenty to bring home for another meal. Temperature inside the restaurant was quite cool. I enjoyed the Penne pasta with Vodka sauce , and salad. While the sauce was tasty, it was a bit on the spicy side. It would have been nice to know this in advance. I would have had them tone it down a bit, but it was flavorful, with a nice hint of garlic, tomatoes, and other spices. The salad was a generous portion with a nice mix of greens, tomatoes and olives. All in all, a good meal with a solid 4 stars.

The food was mediocre at best, tasted like it was reheated. The small portions are large, a lot of food. Very expensive. But the wait staff was very friendly and helpful, a real pleasure.

I must say the food and service was very good. I had a coupon for 20% off and called the restaurant to verify coupon. All was okay until I tried to present the coupon. The manager told me that this was not their coupon even though it had their restauant name and location. The expiration date was still one day more. Instead of taking 20% off a $225 order she took $15 off, which translates to an 8% discount. Not too happy about that. Remember to verify any coupons before sitting down to eat as that will save you time and money.

Came here the other night for a party reservation at 8:15. The place closes at 9, but our server Shirley didn’t seem to mind a party of 20 that close to closing. She was so kind and on top of everything to topping off our drinks to making sure everyone got the right meal the first go around. First experience was definitely A+ . Thanks Shirley!!

3 stars because I've always loved this place! Last experience was terrible though! We ordered a huge pan of Penne San Remo, and we all just kind of picked through it. The best way I can describe it is if you bought it from the freezer section of the grocery and nuked it! Not exactly the worst ever, but not what you expect from Buca! Maybe it was just this dish, maybe it was just the cook having a bad day... I'll never order that dish again!

Hands down one of the most entertaining restaurants around. The food is fantastic and the staff are so wonderful. The atmosphere is like eating in your Italian Grandma's house right down to a table in the Kitchen! If you have a large group you may get lucky and eat in the round Pope room.

We usually have a great experience here however that changed on February 22nd. It was busy when we arrived and we were quoted 45 minutes to be seated. We waited the 45 minutes and I went to get an update. When I went inside there were 3 female employees arguing at the hostess stand saying something about someone getting fired. Once they finished I asked for the update and they said there were still 6 parties ahead of me and they had no idea when our table would be ready. I got the initial text confirmation for our table at 6:07 and didn't get the text that our table was ready until 7:57. I've never had a hostess tell me that they had no idea how long it was going to take or think it was a good idea to argue in front of customers. We ended up leaving after about an hour of waiting with no signs of being seated.

I visit here when family comes to town. They love it, but I'm not impressed. Their version of chicken picatta has ham and I think that changed the whole meal. Their chicken marsala is nice. Their marina sauce is bland. It is a good place for family style eating but it is also pricey. It was more than $100 for 5 of us. One was a small child (4 yrs old) and no alcoholic beverages. That is high for mediocre food.

We ate at Buca di Peppo in celebration of our 8th anniversary. My husband had Shrimp Florentine and I had Spaghetti & Meatballs. Even tho we knew one entree was more than enough for the 2 of us, we ordered separate entrees so we would have enough for my husband to take some for dinner & a snack! Patrick so enjoyed his Shrimp Florentine! The look on his face was sheer pleasure! The shrimp was fresh & done to perfection and the spinach perfectly tender. He said it was absolutely delicious and with each bite, his smile reflected that! My Spaghetti & Meatballs was just as awesome! Truly fresh marinara sauce and delicious crumbly, huge, tender & tasty meatballs! Our server, Shirley! Oh My!🙂🙂🙂 There are not enough words to describe Shirley! She is personable, eager to please, makes the customers feel as if we are her only table to for her shift! Shirley is super friendly, helpful, patient! She offered to take several pictures of us to celebrate & remember our anniversary. Any restaurant can make you an anniversary meal. Buca di Peppo makes it an 'event'. Shirley was the absolute 'topping' to our 'event' at Buca di Peppo! We will be requesting Shirley whenever we come to Buca di Peppo! Awesome meal! Awesome, server! Awesome time here!
