Everything is average. The breakfast buffet is really good value and as good as a buffet can be. For dinner the salmon was good but the fries were warm and chewy. Fine but not awesome. The restaurant is in the hotel whaling is super convenient.

It was walking distance from where I was staying at the hotel. The food choices were pretty good. It was also a fair price for all of the dishes. The service was very nice and I would come back here again. In addition, the name of the restaurant is very interesting. I kept thinking why is blue horse??? 😄

Had a real good burger and fries. Good ice tea. Nice server. About 20 bucks for the burger and fries wit tea. Seemed kind of pricey but the state fair and horse show was on. Might have had something to do with it.

This in-house restaurant is hit or miss. I stayed at the Crowne for three days and every morning, breakfast was a different experience. The staff are friendly and helpful, but the food quality was all over the place. Breakfast day 1 they were out of biscuits. Day 2 biscuits were amazing. Day 3 they didn't rise properly and were 1/2“ tall pucks. Sausage and bacon varied wildly as well. Luckily, there is more on the bar where you can pick and choose.

As breakfast buffets go theirs is really good. The biscuits were fluffy, gravy filled with sausage, hash browns not mushy or greasy but still had a bit of crunch. Speaking of crunch, the bacon was perfection.

The most amazing restaurant ever and it just so happens to be in a beautiful hotel that i love to stay at so its super convenient iv had everything on the menu and its all fabulous!!!!!! And my waitress Darla is sooooo amazing and professional and attentive and very explanatory i wasnt sure what to get and she told me everything i needed to know and more she needs to be promoted i want to hire her!!!! They bettwr be treating her well !!!! Sooo superb!!!!

Food was average. Silverware was spotty. Service was good, except the credit card machine was broken , and when we paid with cash we weren’t offered any change, so the tip would have been well over 20%.

I was visiting here for the car audio show. Saw this on maps and decided to give it try. I'm not sure why it's not busier, other than price. Prices are a bit steep. However, service was excellent and the food was great. Had salmon the first night and shrimp and grits the second night, well cooked and will seasoned. Drinks were pretty good as well. Next time I visit, I'll be coming back.

A lot if Menu items were not available. Our waitress was really good. However steak was awful. Hamburger tasted like pre-made frozen patty , overcooked, and no flavor. Great bourbon selection! And my wine was very good.

We have only ate the breakfast so far. It was really good, and the buffet was set up nicely with plenty of food, it was hot and fresh. The staff was very courteous, helpful, and very attentive to our requests. The atmosphere was great with background music, but not too loud and obnoxious. The coffee was amazingly delicious considering it was from the hotel. I actually had to get a go cup to take with me. Thanks for the fresh start of our busy day.

Prepay for the breakfast buffet if you stay here. Opened promptly at 6am. I was able to get a to-go box and plenty of food, since I had to make an early flight. Staff was very friendly. Dinner in the bar is quick and good service. The salads are huge and a great value with decent pricing.

The restaurant is not open. Only the bar. It's the same menu. I had the seared salmon which was really delicious but I ended up with food poisoning though the other person I was with did not. Apparently I got a bad piece of fish despite how delicious it tasted at first. Very expensive though. If you go in please be prepared to spend some money. For a piece of salmon it was $22.

Fantastic food and amazing service! We never felt the need to leave the Hotel for dinner. Excellent food waiting downstairs! They even have a buffet! I loved everything I ate here and my server was awesome. Wish I thought to remember his name!

For "the hotel restaurant and bar", it leaves much to be desired. Being onsite, the hours of operation should be expanded accordingly. They are still operating with covid hours causing most patrons to go offsite if they would like an app or cocktail at 4pm or earlier - especially those that just came in from different time zones. The drinks are good when they are actually open. The food quality is totally hit or miss. We ordered their chips and "fire roasted salsa" only to find it out it was tostitos brand just emptied into a bowl with a mix of very stale but also fresh chips. Quality control of food and hours of operation need to be immensly improved. The staff is very polite.

Wonderful experience here! I believe our server was Sharon? She was beyond attentive to our family and friendly! I wasn't expecting much from a hotel restaurant breakfast but ended up being the best breakfast we had on our whole trip! The breakfast buffet was great and the pancakes we got for the kids were not the usual frozen toaster pancakes..you could tell they made them and the were delicious! Very impressed!

Enjoyed my time at the blue horse restaurant. For the most part the food was good and if you had any mistake they'd it. Only issue was staffing and waiting for a period of time but I chop it up to the signs of the time

Stop in for lunch while at the MATS 2022 exposition. Good food, I had a ceasar salad, a few Co workers had the salmon and said it was cooked perfectly. Another had the club sandwich.

The food in this restaurant is so good. We had the best waitress she was so kind and patient. I had a turkey club sandwich it was the best turkey club I ever had and the house salad was so big two people could have ate out of it. It was a lot of people there today trying to get a seat in the restaurant but they make sure we all will seated accordingly. I could give this restaurant 10 Stars that's how good it is.

Food was excellent. Hubby had sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Sirloin was perfect. Potatoes and veggies well seasoned. I had Tuscan chicken with orzo and it was delicious. The service was very slow and the rolls were underwhelming. The decor was a little drab but with a few small changes this could be greatly improved.

I can’t speak more highly of any restaurant I’ve visited, the staff was friendly and fast, the food was amazing, absolutely! They ran out of the beer I wanted so the manager Joe gave me the better beer at the same price, a true customer friendly move. As for Joe, Wow, he was the manager on duty during our visit, he’s a true team player and was all over the restaurant giving %110 to help anywhere he could, I can not give enough praise, I’ve had a ruff trip and my dining experience this evening at the Blue Horse made my trip more enjoyable. Thank you Joe and your staff. If I could give you 6 stars I would! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ !

There's not much around the immediate area for a quick bite, so having the Blue Horse in the hotel is convenient. I enjoyed the club sandwich. Wasn't much of a fan of the barbecue flavored potato chips. I also had a small bowl of Mac and Cheese. It was "homemade" with white cheddar and breadcrumbs but I found that the flavor was somewhat bland. Overall not a bad meal, and the waiter was attentive.

Overall a great experience. The hamburger and fried were exceptional. The bartender was very knowledgeable, friendly, and provided great service. The beer prices were on the very high end. Is there such a think as "Beer Sticker Shock"? Very sobering.

Okay, it is a Hotel bar. BUT, it's got great low lighting, and it's a close airport hotel, so it's got a good amount of people that stay. So the bar always has just the right out of people in it at night. All the bartenders were very nice. It was just not an experience that you thought you would get. It was just perfect. Oh And the food you could order was really good. Was very happy I chose this hotel

After being seated and given a glass of ice water we saw no service for over 20 minutes. Finally, as we were getting up to leave another waitress, not the one assigned to us, asked if she could wait on us. She brought the manager over to discuss the situation and they gave us free desserts, but the whole situation put a damper on the meal. The food is ok, seems like the restaurant is trying to be fancier than it actually is. The 3 rating is because management did listen to our concerns and the new waitress was attentive otherwise it would have been a 1.

Only ate breakfast at the restaurant. Decided to go with the buffet priced at $14. A little pricey? Probably. But it comes with a omelette with your choice of fillings included. The buffet has all the stuff of a good buffet. Biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, potatoes, scrambled eggs, bagels, toast, yogurt, fruit and several juices and milks to choose from. Waitress staff are an absolute delight and very friendly. Convenience factor is a ten, especially if you are attending meetings at the hotel.

The first time we ate here was in the bar. We had the black rum burbon burger my mother got the house chips which had a nice bbq flavor and I had the fries. It was EXCELLENT and the service was wonderful. The second time we ate here my mother got the house burger and I got the chipotle chicken sandwich. Food was good but the service was horrible. The hostess and waitress were to preoccupied with a gentleman at the hostess stand to worry about any one in the dining room. I never received a refill and my mother was never even given the opportunity to get another drink (a mule which she said was very tasty)

Very over priced! Food was good however! Staff was friendly, but could have been quicker! 30 minutes for 2 burgers and fries and the place was dead.... We had to scrape up cash, we didn't carry much on us, cause they couldn't fix there credit card machine.

Saturday night, 18 January 2020, We were greeted by an excellent lady Kalleen? I believe her name was. She happily gave us menus to look at before being seated when we requested them. They were busy and stressed, but she was so wonderful to give us her recommendations. Then Zumir, who usually does banquets, but was filling in that night due to the rush, served us the most excellent dinner and peanut butter pie. We loved Blue Horse on Saturday! Both our hostess, so sorry if I misspelled her name, and Zumir, our wonderful server, made our dining that evening the best! Thank you!

Recently visited the hotel to set up for a convention. The restaurant is located inside. Nice inside and offers some delicious food, appetizers and drinks. Would recommend checking it out even if u dont stay there at the hotel.
