I ordered curbside pickup. My order was ready on time and the person who answered the phone as well as the person who brought it out were very kind. Everything was great! I love how you can customize your own pizza. They have so many options for sauces, cheeses and toppings. I have many other combinations I look forward to trying. I just ordered the olives and chopped garlic to start because I love a cheese and olive pizza. It did not disappoint! The thin crust was crispy and perfectly done. The spicy red dipping sauce for the cheese bread was sooo good. It reminded me of a Harissa sauce almost. I had a great experience overall and look forward to going back!

Great food and great price. Everyone is always friendly and nice. Can’t say anything bad about the staff. $11.50 for a make your own pizza is great. You can get as much as you want for a great price. They have a lot of toppings there competition does not offer. The blood orange drink is amazing

I love Blaze Pizza. The fact that I can get a gluten-free crust Pizza made any way I wish truly is a game changer. I always get the build-your-own and choose the toppings which suit my taste at the moment. The crust is crispy, which is sometimes difficult to find in a gluten-free option. The customer service is great and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend!

3 1/2 stars PROs: Tasty pizza with all the ingredients you want for one reasonable price. All done in about 6 minutes. One size 12” Plenty of toppings and several sauce choices Gluten-free and cauliflower dough available Good variety of beverages with decent lemonade as well. Good Salad variety and cookies Parking accessible and plenty CONs: Dirty bathrooms and no paper towels so had to use toilet paper to dry hands. I feel kind of guilty not giving a higher rating, but their pizza is just not my favorite. That said, they seem to offer high quality ingredients, so that is a worthy effort. Try it you might love it, but for me, I keep looking for something more to my liking.

Food is decent if the person making your pizza actually cares. By that I mean they take the time to spread out the ingredients, not pile them in the middle and give you a proper amount. The line is always backed up out the door because the system in place just doesn't work. The last few times I've been there the employees were moving like snails. It took so long! I don't mind waiting, if the food is worth it. However, you can definitely tell that the employees are not happy and dont want to be there. They dropped my pizza last time I was in and the one they replaced it with was a joke. All the ingredients in the middle and barley any ingredients. Definitely not like the one I had when we went through the line. So disappointing

It was good although when you tell them the specific item you'd like that's predetermined on their menu, they still ask you for the toppings instead of following what's already the ingredients. The ordering style is similar to Chipotle where you'd go down the line and pick its. Location is very busy. Decent place for people who have varying preferences for pizza. The place is also a tad bit small which makes seating difficult on busy days. Tables also aren't clean.

Food was amazing. It was my first time eating here. I gave service 4 stars because staff made it so confusing to order and didn't speak up to where I could hear. They made me feel rushed to order. One staff member just looked angry and hated life. But the manager made up for the confusing ordering process by giving me my other half of pizza for free. I will definitely go again. Leaving this review mainly for management.

Love this place!! Clean, friendly, and wonderful pizza!! The dough is a perfect cross for a thin Crust and a brooklyn style. Love the topping choices! Only request, they had the dining room closed, so take out only. But the music was a little too loud and you couldent hear the girls call out the orders.

Very different to me. I ordered the 1/2 pizza and Caesar salad. The salad was very good. I ordered the sausage/pepperoni pizza. I was pleasantly pleased on my choices.

The experience was not what I was expecting. One of the food preparers wiped his sweat with his shirt, showing his belly and underpants (this happens after we had ordered). There was no coordination among the staff, my wife's pizza was dropped on the floor and instead of fixing the situation right away, the guy preparing it started cursing. The food was ok, however, I will not be back.

Stopped in last night with family to enjoy dinner with some friends. It was jam packed which is a good sign. Luckily we were able to find a table and enjoy our meal! Service was top notch and the taste of the pizza was amazing! One of the managers stopped by our table to ask how dinner was and that was just an amazing touch of customer service that this restaurant does to ensure customer loyalty! The pizzas we got were a plain cheese and a vegetarian pizza. The toppings were fresh and flavorful. Definitely let them add a little sea salt and oregano to the pizza to make the taste that much fresher! Drink wise, we stuck with plain H20 but I am sure that the fountain drinks are great! Our pizza was ready in less than 3 minutes and it was eaten in about 10 minutes. If anyone is in the Shelbyville Road area, make sure to stop by Blaze and grab a bite to eat. Your stomach will thank you!

Awesome Blaze location. I always love their Pizza. It is very fast yet always nice and hot and cooked to order. They cook it over Flame so that it crisps on the bottom and cooks it all through. This location is nice invisible and is clean and well-staffed. The employees were friendly and easy to work with. The line was a bit long at dinner but was not bad for us because we came little bit before the crowd. Plenty of seating Erin to the tables and chairs were clean and comfortable.

My son, mom & I did our covid test. It was very hard for me as I have PTSD but I did it & decided we all should be treated but especially me lol. My son suggested Blaze & it was a go. I am very particular about restaurants but we always have a great experience at Blaze! Haven't been since the pandemic. Still excellent customer service! The staff handle a mask situation with ease & professionalism. I appreciated they were taking the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe. Did I say the food is AWESOME?!!! Fresh ingredients, made the way you want & ready in minutes! We ate in the car as a personal preference but there is socially distanced seating available. They have a capacity sign listed as well. All in all I had a great outing with my family & would recommend Blaze to anyone!

My fiance and I went there for dinner and we built our own pizzas. You can choose from various toppings and cheeses and sauces. They make sure the pizza is 100% customized to your liking. They have some of the best pizza in town, with quick service and very affordable prices. I definitely think this place is worth a visit. I love this place. 5 STARS!

I tried this pizza place and it did not disappoint As other pizza joints in the ville have Fast service,fully staffed got you in and out quickly with plenty of options The large size was a bit small I eat the entire pizza and was still hungry but for $10 was not bad a thinner hand tossed crust cooked in a hot flame oven

I'm a regular Blaze customer - at lots of different locations across the US when I travel. This particular location wasn't up to the usual standards at the time I visited. 3 of the 4 pizzas in our order were burned but not inedible - just not usual. The employees while doing what they should do were not very personable or friendly (one actually told my wife "move" while trying to wheel a trashcan out). Overall as a company they are historically great, I hope it was just a bad day at this location.

Love, love, love this pizza! I have found my favorite combination is regular sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, onion, and oregano! It is cheaper (around $8) because you only have to pay for two toppings. They bake your pizza in a fire oven right in front of you and it is such a fun experience.

The pizza was great! It's a build your own, with different sauces, meats and toppings. Their salami and ham were perfect, the dough knots were alright but I think it's because I'm not used to pesto sauce. Their strawberry agua fresca and blood orange lemonade are really really good. Everything was made fairly quickly.

I love this place. I have a wheat allergy and love that they cater to my allergies needs. They make the gluten free dough themselves and they do glove changes so it can possibly cut down on the cross-contamination of the wheat. The pizza is great. I love the idea that i can put whatever on my pizza.....yummy

I like Blaze because of how helpful their app is. I put my order in about 30 min till I’d like it to be picked up, pull up to a delivery spot, and after calling, an employee brings me my pizza. They’re good with attention to details when I make specific changes to a pizza. The only bummer is that occasionally, even when I arrive at the time noted on my pick-up order, my pizza will be cold.

This trip had me try the white sauce. Every time we eat here we are impressed by a positive staff, informative options and suggestions for new combos, and every pizza is good. I had the cauliflower crust which is always worth the upcharge for half the calories. Great for veg heads and carnivores alike!

For fast food pizza, blaze has perfected the system. From ordering to picking up, it's quick. Pizza is easily customizable and the options of toppings are many. The best part is, the taste is great, and I've never received a burnt pizza, even during their rush hours. Staff are generally really friendly too.

Great pizza place. Pizza is nicely done like what you would expect in a pro pizza oven. They offer a gluten free crust (although there is a certainty for cross contamiation in a pizza place) and vegan cheese. My wifes favorite pizza since she is gluten and dairy sensitive.

Last time I reviewed this store I gave it 3 stars. Not quite but almost burnt pizza + more & no manager in sight to get it right. They have definitely fixed all the problems from last year! My pizza was great (their seasonal Italian sausage & butternut squash 👍 with spinach added), the berry salad was better. And this time, if something had gone wrong, there was management presence to take care of things.

I would usually give this location 5 stars, but the service today was terrible. I was yelled at while choosing toppings and the same worker was rude to the older man in front of me. It was so obvious that another employee approached me with a coupon for a free pizza if I choose to return. I hope if the owner is reading this, you’ll check on your crew. They either need a break or some coaching.

This location had been going downhill rapidly over the past couple of years. Employees were unpleasant, the restaurant was dirty, and service was slow and inconsistent. My wife and I visited today and couldn't have been more impressed/surprised. There was a well dressed manager walking the floor, asking if everything was good. The employees behind the counter were all friendly and greeted us with smiles and courteous language. Our pizza was brought to our table as opposed to an employee shouting across the dining room and expecting us to come get the pizza ourselves. We will definitely be back more frequently now that we know this location's personnel and procedures have been straightened out.

Came here for the first time with my fiancé who had nothing but great things to say, walking in you immediately notice the line out the door which can only imply the pizza is worth waiting for. Checking out the menu which is easily spotted from the line, it gives you an idea of how/what to order. Me being the plain Jane that I am got the simple pie that includes sauce/basil/cheese. After paying and filling our cups at the self service drink Fountain we found a charming little table located in the middle of the restaurant. Sitting here you can watch the pizza makers work their magic with the huge oven that looks to be able to fit about 5-8 pies inside. Once baked to perfection it’s removed sliced and they call out a your name and a quick pie description. The pizza was heaven!!!! I could eat this every day. The sauce a little tangy slightly sweet and all of the seasonings rounded out to have a great robust flavor that really complements the mozzarella Parmesan and pizza dough. The pizza crust thin crispy with a little crunch that is perfect. Next time I’m going to try a few veggies on there but this pizza does not need anything extra at all. Will be going back again and again.

First time going. We walk in and I ask Ian to make me his favorite pizza. Turns out he can make a pie. They have blood orange lemonade that is top notch. My wife did say something about the meat on hers but she is pregnant so take that how you will. Michael behind the counter suggested I write a review, so shout out to that guy. My pizza was good. Hers was good too. We also had some little garlic knot bites, those were really good. Overall the service was as expected. The place was clean. Performance was zippy. We will be returning.

My pizza crust is soggy and I had to ask for a fork and napkin... I ordered a salad with my pizza. I thought it was implied for a to go order that I would need a fork. I’ve done take out for years in past jobs. It’s not that difficult to anticipate customers needs. Ingredients are fresh. Customer service leaves a bad taste in my mouth though.

I placed an order on-line and when I got to the check-in table for pick-up orders mine wasn’t there. Miranda immediately went to check on what had happened with my order since it should have been ready when I got to the store. She came back and let me know she had requested for my pizza to be made. She was very helpful and demonstrated excellent customer service skills to ensure my pizza would be hot and fresh coming out of the oven. Thanks Miranda!

Really good, affordable gourmet pizza options here. I love the spicy marinara sauce, which I'm not sure anyone else offers in our area. The ricotta cheese is a nice option, too. Many topping choices, fresh ingredients... my favorite build-your-own pizza chain!

Always a good experience with the food quality. The pizza is best right out of the oven. I've had only one experience where the first employee we encountered seemed less than pleasant. Perhaps an off-day, but when that's the first interaction you have with an establishment, that sticks with customers. Overall though, I'm always willing to return for the food.

The employees were very friendly, but it was nothing to write home about. The pizza was just okay - I was underwhelmed by the flavors. Also would note that while Blaze has a great allergen menu, training for the employees on how to handle food allergies could be improved. I noted that my pizza needed to dairy free for a dairy allergy and the employee picked bits of cheese off my crust that he had dropped on it. He also did not change his gloves after having just stuck his hands in the mozzarella. Fortunately I am not sensitive to cross-contamination, but others could be. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, and the employees friendly, but I was underwhelmed by the food.

The pizza was fabulous!!!! They listened to exactly what I asked for without issues. Most of the staff was excellent, very nice and very well mannered. The two reasons I couldn't give it 5 stars, one the restaurant needed to be cleaned. I know it was busy maybe an extra person to help in lobby would be a thought. The biggest issue of our visit was the person who calls you to get your pizza was extremely not happy. She was very rude, when we asked for sauces between her not acknowledging that we asked for it, and her say what (to EVERYONE) who asked. Her getting rude to the lady who asked for her cookies and when she gave her the wrong ones she snatched them ok it of her hand. Either she was having a bad day or hates her job ...either one really shows. Will find one close to my house (we live in Ohio). Must go to again.

I really like this place. Sure it's a chain, but they seem to do well. The food is inexpensive, the menu is flexible, and the food is prepared quickly. If I was to offer any constructive criticism, I would say that the music is often too loud. All in all though, great place to have a quick pizza made however you want it.

Great thin crust pizza. The employees who take the order and make the pizza are great and seem to genuinely care that your pizza is exactly how you want it. Also, they are very vegan-friendly. I don't particularly care about it, bu if don't want the person to use implements that have come into contact with meat or cheese, they will grab a fresh pizza cutter or change their gloves without a problem.

We had a celebration dinner outside by the fire pit for a newly elected city council person, and it was delicious. Steve was especially helpful and checked on us several times to make sure our dining experience was a good one. This was our first visit, and we will be back for sure!

Made from scratch pizza in front of you and plenty of choices to customize your thin crust pizza. Although the ingredients are fresh they did seem to be the best quality. Somebody who has allergies to certain ingredients or religious restrictions, may not enjoy the experience. The employees use the same gloves while handling all the different toppings, vegies, meat, etc. The crust was a bit chewy, not as crispy as I would have expected for a thin crust pizza. Finally, the cold drinks are overpriced.

Good service, good pizza. Not a huge fan of the "choose what you want" style of ordering like Subway. I'd rather just say "I'll have the #2" rather than say every topping I like and don't like. Pretty cool place to eat though, and should be a huge hit for those who like thin crust.

We love Blaze for the customization and speed! It isn't the best pizza in town, but it is very good, especially with all the toppings (some of which aren't available at many other restaurants). We don't interact with employees enough to judge customer service, but I'm more concerned with my food and efficiency when I come here.

Good pizza, great staff. Very flexible with customization. Extra cheese doesn't count as one of your toppings which shows they don't nitpick. Something you don't see often with a franchise. The only minus is they SHOUT the persons name when their order is ready. It gets on the nerves after a while if you're dining in and having a conversation.

Gluten free cauliflower crust pizza was delish. Guy behind the counter didn't know what I was talking about when I asked for gluten free items. Was totally confused. Employees shouldn't be on the front line until they know the menu. Better yet, not cooking either. I have celiac disease, cross contamination is a real thing, I understand eating out there is no 100% guarantee unless it is a gluten free establishment. I would just like the peace of mind that the employees at least know to do all they can to prevent gluten cross contamination and to know gluten free items. I was so scared to eat my pizza due to a possible reaction that I only took a few bites before tossing it out. The guy behind the counter just wasn't confident in knowing what he was doing.

The price point is just great compared to the competition and overall high level of ingredients for the price. I ordered the Green Stripe with a drink, for a little over $10. Thin crust but could be enough for two people. Recommended!

This place is amazing. You can make the pizza of your dreams with a drink for 10 bucks. Pizza tastes amazing and the staff is very friendly. Everyone seemed extremely miserable to be at work. When I asked one of the employees to change his gloves due to an allergy, he was extremely confused and rolled his eyes at me. Someone else thankfully took over. This is the slowest Blaze I have ever been to. The pizzas at least turned out well.

Went to Blaze yesterday for National Pi Day... Pizza's were $3.14. Got there about 45 minutes before they were to close and the line was LITERALLY out of the door. When I finally got to the front to order, the servers were just as nice as if they had just started their shift. They were prompt in service and very polite. We actually stopped everyone in the restaurant and gave them a huge round of applause. This wasn't my first time being there but it was definitely another great experience and I'll be back.

This is a great place to go for a quick pizza. It is set up like the popular Sub sandwich place. You choose your pizza sauce, types of cheese, and move down the line with topping choices. They also offer a gluten-free crust option at an upcharge. The pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven and are delicious. They also offer some really good salads. I think there were four choices on the salads. Decor is very casual but fun. Use the app to earn free pizza after so many visits. Highly recommend!

I’m going lactose free right now and Blaze has vegan cheese. When the guy asked what cheese, I asked for vegan. He asked if I needed to see the packaging and if he needed to change his gloves! I’m not allergic to dairy so it wasn’t a big deal for him to change his gloves. I just thought that was very smart of him to ask those questions because you never know how severe allergies can be! Also, the vegan cheese was really good!

Blaze is always a great stop for lunch or dinner and the assembly line style makes service pretty quick once you're in line. The employees are always super helpful and if you don't have time to wait in line, you can order through the app! Their rewards program is also great and often leads to free pizza or menu items.

Whether it's Lunch or Dinnertime, Blaze will light your fire! The wait-time here is nearly non-existent and the staff is super friendly. The prices are very reasonable especially considering you pay the same amount for a Signature Pizza as you do a "Build Your Own" Pizza. Typically, I experiment with new and interesting topping mixtures on my pie and since there is no limit (while the cost remains the same, by the way), I am rarely disappointed! If you enjoy pizza that is fast and tasty, take a slice out of Blaze!

Service and speed were awesome, pizza came out hot and fresh. Taste wise...eh I've had better. I got just pepperoni and cheese with red sauce and it definitely wasn't something I would go out of my way to eat again. Sauce and cheese had almost no flavor so the only thing I could really taste were the pepperonis and the crust. The pizzas cook super fast in a hot oven and the edge of the crust got a bit black which is pretty normal for that kind of oven and heat. I went with friends and they all had different pizzas loaded with toppings and loved theirs so I guess its kind of a more the merrier type of thing. If you are like me and just like one or two toppings you might be disappointed but its fairly cheap so its worth a try at least.

I think they have gone down in quality. Much room fpr improvement though and customer service is still nice. Mike and Vanessa are great every time I go here. My fiancé has celiac disease and I’ve chosen to be gluten free, so eating out is always a pain. However, this blaze location has been exceptionally accommodating of our disposition. They’ve catered to us with freshly opened ingredients and prepared our pizzas in the back to avoid chances for cross contamination. This is one of the only pizza places we trust to eat in Louisville.

At first I wasn't sure about this place because pizza places open all the time. It wasn't until I tried it, that I was amazed. The method of ordering food has been tested and successful at other places (Chipotle, Subway, Qdoba). I guess I never thought about applying it to pizza. I was there on day 1. I had the green stripe while my lady had the white top. We also had blood orange lemonade. Everything was fantastic. I was amazed at how fast the employees were able to get us through the line and on our way. Not to mention the price. It's very inexpensive for a quality pizza with quality ingredients. The longer they're open, as long as the quality remains high I will frequent this place as I'm sure many others will.

This place is amazing!!!!! It's like Qdoba, but it's pizza. Were can you go and get a pizza with all the toppings you want that is a personal pizza just for you for less than $8. The blood orange lemonade is also a must try, it is so good. Plenty of toppings to choose from. The staff is super nice. One girl told me that she went to eat there, and loved it so much she applied for a job.

Wonderful! Had never been to Blaze Pizza before but after walking through the door and they greet you with a, "Welcome to Blaze!" the experience only got better. The staff was super helpful and amazingly friendly, (and one was really funny). I chose the "build your own" option which they recommended many delicious toppings. Also in my party was a Gluten intolerant individual. While this was not a major allergy, rather just an intolerance, she claimed it to be the best gluten-free pizza she had ever had. The crust did not include other flavors and textures whereas other pizza chains have done. I will be returning to Blaze Pizza.

Pizza is always good because you can make it however you want! Service has gotten worse the last few months as the teenagers they hire seem to have no work ethic. We waited in line behind somebody who was obviously an employee as he was still in uniform and apron. The three girls on the other side of the counter, one who I know has been there for quite some time, and the employee ordering a pizza were just chatting it up instead of taking care of business. Even as my husband and I began to order the girls were still having a conversation among themselves even yelling at times to each other. The side conversations and not paying attention to the customers has become the standard. I have rarely been in when the customers are treated as a priority. The exception is the people who are cooking. They seem to remain focused and professional.

I give it a 4/5 for the main reason that it is absolutely ludicrous that I have to call a call center to order a pizza. That's so silly that they pay people to answer the phone for them. I really don't get it. Pizza is really good. TONS of topping selections. I love the customization. I get artichoke, spinach, chicken, mozz, and white sauce pizza. My husband loves the meat eaters pizza. I wish there were more sizes of pizzas. That also doesn't really make sense, as it's impossible to make bulk orders for parties that way.

Customizable pizzas with as much or as little as you want, tons of sweet and savory snacks. They have pepsi products, some fruity drinks & alcoholic beverages. There's tons of seating even with Covid restrictions and a few outdoor seats. It's in the heart of St Matthews so it makes it a great location that's pretty easy to get to. Everything is decently priced and they have GF, Keto, vegan and more doughs/options along with GREAT allergen procedures. The GF dough is kept separate from everything and they change gloves. They'll ask/mark if it's preference or allergy as well so everyone on the line is aware ❤️

The Blaze Pizza environment is great, they have a nice sound system in there and the music gives the place good energy. The meat eater's pizza was good but bbq chicken is horrible. Service was fast once pizza assembled like 3-5 min, but chaotic during orders - staff talked back and forth over the customers; they mixed up my pie with the guy behind me and had to swap them. A bit light on toppings. Fresh lemonade good, esp blood orange. Loud, booming pop music may annoy some. I like it better than pie-ology, a similar pizzeria on Hurstbourne by Half Price Books. They just had a single men's bathroom, that doesn't seem like enough for busy time, but I was able to go right in on crowded Monday night. Two guys could go in at once, there is a short urinal and toilet on the opposite wall and one sink. But no privacy. Closed stalls and more urinals and sinks would be nice. Lock on door and occupied sign good, but you might have people banging on the door if you take very long. Or you may not be able to get in when you need to.

The reason for my rating was in the misinformation and staff that was clueless. We had read on their website that they offered non-GMO but when we asked the staff they had no idea. If your going to take this step then your staff needs to be aware. A manager was called over and was just as confused as the server. How can you trust what they are serving if they lack the awareness of what the customer is looking for?
